It was a bit hazy. I woke up very groggy, with a pounding headache. Ugh, it was the worst feeling. It was like something was scratching and trying to break free from my head, when it could not break from one spot it would crawl to another. I groaned as I tried to roll over in the bed...wait...bed? I suddenly remembered where I was and what had happened. As I struggled to sit up, gravity pulling on my torso I noticed that I simply could not. I opened my eyes to see I was in a VERY unfamiliar place. I scanned the room, still trying to fight the restraints holding my arms back. I looked up to my arms, they were tied to pole in the wall. I looked down to see I was at least cared for enough to be surrounded with proper bed sheets. Ah nostalgia is a powerful thing. I looked back to my hand restraints and began to plan my escape.

"I wouln't bother if I were you, those are top of the line demon ropes." a voice echoed from the spot in the room I didn't look in. I turned my eyes to the voice to see the very familiar man that I watched back in the forest. That's when worry crossed my mind.

"Where is Rin?" I spat at the man. He stood up from his seat and begane to come closer.

"That girl? Who knows...my mission was only to capture you." he stated with a sense of detachment. This sparked a rage in me and I only tried harder to break free. It was much like one of those Chinese finger traps, where the more I struggled the tighter the rope wrapped around my wrists. The man watched me with displeasure. "If you keep struggling, then I will have to sedate you again." he paused for a second. "Unless you are increasing your own value by self-harming." he spoke, now coming to face me. I stopped suddenly at his very questionable statement.

"What do you want from me?" I finally demanded. The man simply looked me over and then to my legs. He went over to a table where his bag was and began to dig for something.

"It's not what I want...it's what my employer wants." he paused as he turned to me, an item in each hand. I began to get nervous when he came to the bedside, wielding a knife. It was quite large. With a weird silence he came close to my face, then with no hesitation he took the knife and cut off a lock of my hair. I was a bit surprised, but more pissed off at the fact he cut out a chunk of my hair. He smiled when he saw my expression, this eyes seemed to glow a bit. "You see, I am a proffesional Demon slayer. I was paid by some high hogs originally to destroy the infamous Lord Sesshomaru." he began to explain, my expression must have turned to horror as he continued to speak. "However, he proves to be more dangerous and elusive than my employers expected. So I was tasked with a new mission." he said, reaching into his pocket at pull out a small pouch. He slowly placed my lock of hair into the small pouch. I knew what his knew mission was now, and it made my stomach turn. That is when I heard another person enter the room. Their footsteps were very heavy and fast. The man then slowly stood up and went to met the man.

"So...is this the one?" the other asked, I could feel his eyes looking my body up and down, just barely out of my sight.

"It is what you wanted. I suspect Lord Sesshomaru holds this one in high reguards." I could hear a brief silence and shuffling. "Send this to there captians. When they open it, it will cause quite the stir in their camp." he said to the other man. I could feel the nasty grin come over the man's face as he spoke more.

"If this does not work...then-"

"Then we send something else..." the darked haired man inturrupped him. With that the other left the room, and shortly after the man was in front of me again. "I was tasked with finding out all I could about Lord Sesshomaru. His strengths, his weaknesses, what he protects..." he said taking his place back in his chair.

"I don't understand any of this...why were you hired?" I asked, he only looked a bit troubled.

"Lord Sesshomaru is my employer's enemy." he stated, as if I knew more.

"...why are they enemys?" asking cautiously. There was a brief pause.

"...They are currently in war with each other...your lover didn't tell you this?" With that, my head began to spend. Why didn't he want to tell me he was fighting in a war? My head slowly rested on the pillow my captor so graciously provided. With a heavy sigh I decided to look back at the man.

"I am warning you, if you do not release me then Lord Sesshomaru will make it rain fire." I decided to try to talk my way out of this, with intmidation. The man watched me for a moment, then sat back in his seat and folded his arms.

"I don't get paid to take on threats like that. I get paid to kill demons like you." he stated bluntly. "The only reason you are alive right now is because I get paid more if you are alive." he said, just watching me. I guess that didn't work. Well, I had nothing but time to figure out what my next move was going to be.
