A/N: Finally, chapter 5 in several months! Sorry for those who waited. ^^" I'm really sorry. I'll try and update a new chapter before my break ends. Cue the theme song!

I stayed inside my room, thinking about what Lui had said about this game.

"Yuuki?"

I looked towards the door and saw Shiro at the door. She walked inside the room and sat at the foot of the bed. She looked at the floor and swayed her feet. I was thinking if she was trying to think of something to say. Then in a minute she spoke.

"I… Heard what happened in the library," she said.

"You what," I said, surprised.

Then she shifted her look at me and softly smiled.

"I'm sure Nii had some excuse to why he did this."

"So, you guys did know about the rules."

"Of course, we've been here for almost a year."

I sighed and got out of bed. I walked towards the window and touched the glass. I looked down at the people of Elkia Federation.

"You, know what Shiro? I wonder why I even came here. I'm not much help to Sora or even everyone else."

"You do have a role in this world."

I turn back to face Shiro and she was now standing. Her red eyes shining with confidence.

"You are the one who gave Nii something to fight for."

"I don't get what you're saying."

"Before Nii fought for something interesting in life. He only played games thinking they were the only ones that gave him the "interesting" part in life. But since you came along, Nii changed. He became so motivated to know more about Old Deus and trying to think of strategies to defeat them."

"That's just his nature. He is fighting against the number one in Disboard. He loves challenges."

"It's also his nature to half-ass things. I'm pretty sure you know how much of a disorganized person he was. I pretty sure was one of the smartest people when you both attending elementary school together, yet he was lazy to even do homework or attend the classes. He would most likely just skip class to go and play games."

"But…" I tried to object.

"This just means you probably mean something to him."

"How would you know?"

She stared at me as if I just asked the most idiotic question.

"It's because we're siblings."

Then Shiro left my room, leaving me with silence that filled my room once more.

I decided to take a little walk around an area in the Elkia Federation close to the castle. I've been coped up in the castle that I never actually went outside to explore what this place has. According to Steph, this place was close to being extinct, but ever since Sora and Shiro became the rulers, Elkia Federation thrived. Then I came across what looked like a swap meet. Everyone was shouting what their shop sold. I was the distracted by the colorful accessories one shop sold. Then I hear something behind my back.

"Did you want to buy something?"

I scream and push away the person behind me.

"Oi! That hurt!"

Wait. That voice sounded familiar. I looked down to see who I pushed, and my heart skipped a beat once I saw who it was.

"Sorry Sora…"

I gave him a hand and he stood up. He dusted off his clothes and took and a deep breath. He looked at me and walked closer to me. Then he flicks my forehead. I step back and touch my forehead.

"That's payback," Sora smiles.

My face slowly began to burn. I turn the other way, hiding my blushing face from Sora. What was with that smile? It totally caught me off guard. Then Shiro's words are in my head. "This just means you mean something to him." My heart beats faster and faster. I shook my head and cleared all those thoughts. I cleared my throat and came back to my senses.

"What brings you here," I asked Sora.

"I heard that there was a swap meet and I wanted to check it out," he says while looking back at the colorful accessories.

"What are you looking at?"

"Didn't you want this one?"

He held up a silver necklace with a diamond charm.

"Auntie, give me this one please," Sora said, bluntly.

She smiled, and Sora gave some gold coins to the lady.

"How cute for you to buy your lover a present," the lady sweetly said.

I blush and looked at Sora who surprisingly was embarrassed too. We hurry and leave that booth, to go somewhere else. We decide to stop by a park, that wasn't full of people. We sat at a bench, which was perfect, so I could collect all my thoughts and calm down. Awkward silence filled the atmosphere between Sora and me.

"Oh, the necklace," he brought up.

"Uhm," I shly mutter.

Then I feel something cold around my neck. I look at my neck and see that I wore the necklace Sora bought for me. I lightly touch the diamond and smile.

"Hey Yuuki…"

"Hm?"

"Don't worry about Old Deus and the match."

I face Sora with confused eyes.

"Remember when we were in elementary school together and you beat me in that game?"

"Y-Yeah…"

"That's when I…"

Then it started to rain. Sora takes me hand and we both run towards the castle to take cover from the rain. We reach the back of the castle, where the storage room was. We both enter the room and sat inside. I could hear the raindrops falls on the roof of the storage room. Sora finds some towels and he hands me one. I dry my hair and clothes, then hang the towel around my neck. Then this scenario struck my head. Sora and I are in a room, all alone. With nowhere to go to because it's raining. Sora sits beside me and I could feel the hairs on my skin stand up.

"G-Good thing we found shelter," I say.

"Yeah…" Sora trails off.

"But why the shed? We could've went around the back and go to the kitchen."

"Hm…"

He looks at me and I could feel my face blush. I look down at my feet and hug my knees close.

"Continuing what I started at the park," Sora starts, "When we were in elementary school… When you defeated me in that game… I think my heart chose you."

"Huh," I whisper and my eyes dart back at Sora.

"I would always look in your direction and constantly see you smiling. That smile gave me light. I always thought that I wanted to see that smile forever, until when my family fell apart. Shiro and I escaped from our family because we didn't want that blank life. That's what started our username on that games we played. I've always wanted to see you again. Through the years I thought about what you looked like, how you were doing, or if I could ever see that bright smile once again. Then I saw you in this world. When I first saw you, I knew who you were. I was nervous about meeting you. You just suddenly appeared. When Lui came to meet us, I was irritated by how he was attracted to you. At first, I didn't want to bet you because I knew you would get hurt and what kind of man would want to see the girl that he liked hurt because of himself?"

He looks at me with a soft smile.

"But its okay if you don't like me…"

"You're an idiot."

I lean on his shoulder and close my eyes.

"I like you as well…"

My face continues to burn from my embarrassing move. Then, I could feel Sora smoothing my hair down. He moves a little closer to me and he wraps his arms around me. My head is on his chest. My heart beats faster and faster. Could I believe in this moment? The questions in my head stop when I felt Sora's heartbeat race, just like mine. Could this be…? Real?

"Since I shared my feelings, can I hear yours," he whispers in my ear.

"Uhm... I first started to like on that day you saved me from those older kids. They bullied me and pulled on my hair, then you came, like a knight in shining armor," I smiled.

"So… You're the one who liked me first."

"Ahaha… Sure. But I'm glad I did because just like then and now, you continue to protect me."

Sora pulls back and looks right into my eyes.

"You know… There's a reason I bought you that necklace."

"And what is that reason?"

"I want you stay by my side forever."

"So that means…"

"I won't ask you now… I want to ask when I defeat Lui. To show him that you're mine and not his. But I want you to keep that necklace."

"Why?"

"So, you can always keep me with you. Think of it as… my soul. I'm always with you."

"I never knew you were the romantic type."

"Trust me. I've played a ton of romance simulators."

I laughed.

"Keep on smiling, I love it when you smile."

I smiled at him and he smiles back. Then, Sora reaches out to touch my cheek. His face slowly comes close and I close my eyes. Then I felt his lips on mine. It just a small thing but it sure made my heart burst. We both pull away and Sora once again hugs me close in his arms.

"Just believe in me, Yuuki. I'll definitely defeat Old Deus."

"I will always believe in you."

All my worries about Sora and Lui began to fade. All I had was this faith in Sora; that he would beat Lui and save me.

A/N: Isn't that great. T^T My little Yuuki has grown up. Stick around for the next chapter which is the start of the battle between Sora and Lui or should I say… Elkia Federation vs. Old Deus. Cya :)) ~Moon
