Hey guys, so this chapter is a bit longer to make up for not updating earlier.

Also, CIVIL WAR WAS AMAZING AF! Scarlet Witch kicked ass.

Natasha was sat waiting for us in reception with a smile as she lounged in a chair. We put our bags next to her and made our way over to the receptionist. She looked up and smiled.

"Hello, girls. How can I help you today?"
"We're here to hand in our room keys, Sarah," Wanda told her.
"Ah, yes. You're transferring over to the main tower, today?" her tone was inquisitive.
"Yeah, a new era starts today." I put my hands in my pockets, trying to find my key-card.
"Just keep in touch, and stay safe." She raised her eyebrow at us
"I think danger comes with the job but we'll try our best."
"I'm glad to hear it." I was still trying to find my key.
"Let's sort out these room keys then."
"I would if I could find what I've done with it." Wanda reached into my back pocket and produced mine and placed it next to hers on the counter.
"It's where you left it, where you always leave it."
"How…?" I raised an eyebrow. Sarah looked between us, amused.
"Is this what it's always like?"
"Yeah, pretty much."
"Right, well, it's all sorted." She put the key-cards in a box next to her. "They're decoded."
"Cheers, Sarah. We'll see you around, maybe."
"That would be nice."

Once we were finished with Sarah, Wanda and I wandered back over to Tasha and our luggage. Clint had joined her, as had Steve, Sam and Vision. Sam had a load of luggage next to his feet, like, three 120 litre bags that were full to the brim. What the hell has he packed?! A mattress? A car? A house?

I sat down on the chair next to Nat and Wanda perched herself on my lap. I gently wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her body to mine. She relaxed against me, leaning her head on my shoulder, my own lolling to rest on hers. We both sat in silence as they all talked around us, enjoying each other's warmth as we listened to the numerous conversations happening.

"When are we going?" I heard Sam ask.
"Whenever Rhodey is packed and ready to go?" Nat replied.
"Which is now." The colonel set a bag down next to the chair Wanda and I were sat on. "Have you handed in your room cards, guys?" He held his up.
"Not yet, I haven't." Sam dug his out of his pocket.
"We have," Wanda answered.
"We'll go do ours then." They walked over to speak to Sarah. As soon as they were done, everyone around us started to move and shift.
"Let's go, kids," Steve patted us on the head.

I just tightened my grip around Wanda's waist, not wanting to move. I could sense her smile against my shoulder. Her crimson energy began to wrap around us. Piper, we need to get ready to move. I know… I'm just so comfy. I am too. But there's a comfy couch waiting for us at the Avengers tower. That is true. If memory serves me correctly, it is extremely cosy and perfect for snuggling. Hmmm… It sounds wonderful. And the sooner we get there, the sooner we can snuggle in front of a movie. I sighed, knowing her logic was infallible. Releasing my grip on the brunette sorceress, she rose gracefully and then pulled me to my feet. I shouldered my backpack and turned to grab my bags.

Steve passed us one of our holdalls each and then took the others for us. Wanda laced our hands together, seeing as we had spare hands. We wandered out of the building where two trucks were waiting out of the front of the building.

"I'm guessing we're driving to the tower, then, rather than flying." I dumped my bags in the back of one.
"We are, indeed. You're driving one. Sam, you can drive the other." Clint told him.
"No problem," he shrugged. He placed his bags in the back of the other truck.
"I call shotgun," Wanda announced.
"Maximoff, we weren't expecting anything else. You're in charge of music, then." Clint chuckled.
"You've just opened yourself up for a Beatles music jam for half an hour," I remarked. Wanda grinned evilly.
"We're going with Sam." He made to walk away with Natasha.
"Not a chance, guys." They paused in their stride. "You're gonna face the music with us." I folded my arms. "Besides, Steve, Rhodey and Vision are going with Sam." I pointed to them all in the truck. "You're with us."

They looked at one another and sighed before opening the back doors of the truck and getting in. Wanda and I grinned at each other over the top of the truck before we both climbed in. I turned on the engine once she had taken my backpack from me and searched through the CD's I owned. Most of them were full of 80's music but I had a couple of others as well, including a Beatles one I had made just for her with all her favourite songs on.

To my surprise, she skipped past it and selected the CD I had made with a mix of a selection of both our favourite songs. A Hard Day's Night started playing through the speakers. She turned the volume up as she sang along. I joined in, taking a moment to glance at Clint and Nat in the mirror and they were shaking their heads at us.

"You guys ready to go?" Steve radioed through. "I can see you and Wanda dancing."
"Yeah, we're good." Wanda responded. Sam pulled out of the Avengers complex and I quickly followed. "And, we're having a mini jam here, don't knock it." We drove towards the tower quickly, well quickly as we could, anyway with the dense lunchtime traffic.

By the time we arrived, Clint and Tasha were singing along as well. I pulled in to the final parking space at the front of the tower and killed the engine. Wanda put the CD away and passed me my bag back as I climbed out. Tony was waiting for us all, the sleeves of what looked to be a very expensive shirt were rolled up and the buttons of his waistcoat undone. Thor was accompanying him, as was Banner. I wondered where they got to.

"Everyone all accounted for?"
"Yeah," Steve answered as he climbed out. "They're all here."
"You let Piper drive?" He grimaced. "Yeesh."
"Funny, Stark." As I walked past him, I punched him on the arm, hard. "I'm a good driver, thank you very much. Considering you're the one that taught me." Wanda grabbed her bags from the trunk, placing mine on the floor.
"Was the punch necessary?" He rubbed his arm.
"Of course it was." I picked up my bags and wandered towards the door. "Shall we?" Tony rolled his eyes and led us in.
"Meet us on the top floor." Stark told them as the lifts opened and we all clambered into three. Wanda and I went up with Tony and Steve. Nat, Clint and Thor had the next one and then Sam, Rhodey and Vision were in the last one.

"Sure thing, Tony." I heard Clint reply as the doors shut. I dropped my bags on the floor of the lift, too lazy to keep hold of them.
"The tower itself is 30 floors, though the top one itself is then equal to about four levels." Tony started telling us. "Most of the research equipment and the engineering department is on the lower floors. Quarters and such on the higher ones. You obviously know the design lab." We nodded. "From there you can pretty much oversee everything. The seating area, included. It's very open-plan. We spend most of our time on that floor. Banner's lab is up there too. Easy access to the rooms via a small staircase."
"It sounds great."
"I'll show you the quarters first so you can drop your stuff there and then we can either relax or have a grand tour."
"I'm down with relaxing but I feel like we should have a tour," I answered.
"We'll see what the boys think." Oh, Wanda. Always the diplomatic one.

The elevator finally pinged to announce we arrived on the designated floor. The rest were waiting for us. Does this elevator go slower than the rest or something? Knowing Tony, they all have different speeds for whatever mood he is in.

"I was just explaining to the girls, we'll do quarters first and then there's a choice of chillaxing or a grand tour. They decided to let you choose," Tony informed them.
"Can we relax for now? We never know when we'll be able to otherwise." Rhodey asked.
"No problem."
"Right, rooms." Tony clapped his hands together gleefully.

He showed Sam to his first, then Vision and then Rhodey. Wanda and I were sharing. We were the closest to the lift with Steve opposite and Natasha next door. The gang left all of us to settle in and adjust for a little while. We dropped our stuff by the door as we explored. Our room was huge with our own personal kitchen (that was fully stocked) and seating area that was much bigger than back at base. The four-poster bed sat on the far wall with a TV screen opposite. The en suite had a bath and shower on either end. A speaker system was wired in to the wall with a small gap to rest your phone in and an auxiliary cable hanging out of the wall. On the bed were two small boxes with a note on the top. We sat down and read the note together.

Welcome to the team, girls.
You're both great additions and we're so happy you're here.
You've obviously noticed the boxes if you're reading this.
These are a present for you both as we presume you don't have one. They're both set up to use right away and personalised to suit you both. All of our numbers have been input already.
We hope you like them. If you have any questions, ask Tony and I'm sure he'll be able to help.

Love,
Your friends and teammates xx

Sorry, what? Am I reading this note right? Has Tony bought us what I think he's bought us? I think so, Piper. I think so. I picked up the box marked with my name and opened the lid, handing Wanda hers at the same time.

Inside was a blue iPhone that had clearly been custom made. It was covered in small icicles and snowflakes embedded into the main shell of the phone. Wanda's was a scarlet colour with an exquisite pattern inlaid into it. I unlocked it and the background photo was the Avengers logo with Wanda and I photo-shopped over it. There were various apps downloaded on it, including games. I looked up at Wanda when I heard sniffling and saw tears in her eyes. Looking down at her phone, I saw the reason why. Her background photo was of her and Pietro. Wiping away her tears, I kissed her forehead and wrapped an arm around her.

"Shall we go and see them?" She nodded, putting her new phone in her jacket pocket. I followed her lead and tucked it into my jeans.

We headed out and up to the main lab. As soon as the elevator doors were open, we saw Tony talking to Steve and ran at both of them. They heard us coming and turned around. Wanda and I charged into them, wrapping our arms around them both at the same time, forming a group hug.

"Thank you, guys," Wanda mumbled.
"We love the phones," I added. I could feel Tony growing more the awkward the longer we held on but I don't think it phased Steve in the slightest.
"No problem. You were gonna need them, anyway." Steve told us.
"They're custom made," I remarked, pointedly. "There's a difference between needing a phone and having one custom made." We let go of them eventually.
"You're great kids and we love having you on our team. I may have had a little trip to the Apple factory and spoken to the designer." Stark shrugged nonchalantly.
"Let's go relax upstairs. I'll have Friday put on a movie and we can order takeout."

We nodded and followed them upstairs. Sam was lounging in armchair, munching on some potato chips, flicking through the channels. Nat was in the kitchen with Clint who was then joined by Tony. Rhodey was nowhere to be seen and Vision was staring out one of the large windows, gazing down on the city. Wanda and I dropped onto the large sofa and spread ourselves out. She cuddled herself up to me, resting her head on my shoulder.

So, what do you think?
