Chapter 8
CODY'S POV
Week 2,day 2
My eyes slowly opened up. It was daytime. I was surprised to discover that the other campers,Chris,Chef and Don were there.
"What happened?"
"We found you in the forest"Don said"next time,i will boost up the security measure."
My look shifted toward Gwen;she was happy to see me alive,and i was happy to see her.
"Let us alone"Chris said"you will visit him later."
The campers went out.
"Where is Chadley?"
Chadley suddenly appeared in the room.
"Nice trick."
"Thanks."
"Tell me something,and be honest;what i am?"
"A human being who had a great power,a power that you didn't release totally. Im sorry if i didn't tell you more,but a little mystery was fundametal for unlocking you're power."
Suddenly,i started to recognize me. I didn't saw that face in years,since i was a little child.
"I met you when i was a child."
"Im you're uncle Cody;you're father brother."
My eyes widened.
"Do you have in mind you're keyboard?It was one of my present."
"What happened to Ezekiel?"
"I partially cured him;now he got powers too"Don said.
"Ennui and Crimson?"
"Alive...unfortunately"Don said.
"Next time,im gonna teach you some trick"Chef said.
"Now rest,you deserved it"Chris said.
"Wait,tell me about what you did in the past."
"Saint John's,Newfoundland. That years became a cursed year among the people Saint John's,that year was the time of the Saint John's killing spree. The murders start at the beginning of the year. All the murders had the same characteristic;the victims were gutted,and they're organs were extracted from their body.
But that was just the beginning. At the start of september,some people started to get crazy and cause troubles. The police thinked that the responsability was to add to the local cult. But they were wrong.
It was at that point,that Chef and me started to be involved in this. One of our friends started to behave in a strange ways;whe investigate and the discovered that he wasn't our friend,but he was something different. Me and Chef,with the help of some friends,a members of the cult and an old detective,discovered the cause of the murder. We never tell what happened to the police,nobody would believed us.
This was our experience with that creatures."
"Something tell me that this is just the beginning."
Chadley sadly nodded.
It was just the beginning.

Evening.
I was seated on an old trunk,watching the horizon.
"Hi Cody."
"Hi Gwen."
"I just wanted to say that im glad that you're safe."
"Gwen,i love you."
A moment of silence.
"Cody,i..."
"I knew it,i just wanted to tell you."
"Mind if i stay here a little bit?
"Not a problem at all."
I was happy that evening.
Even if my journey to the path to hell was just began.
