Turnabout Legend
Chapter 5:
Athena's Investigation, Part 2
10:50am
19th December
Hall of Origin – South West Wing – Library
After a while, Athena and Mesprit manage to find where Celebi is in the Library, sitting in a very dark area. It seemed to be the back of the Library, and the lights were off, maybe due to some Legendary forgetting to fix the lights? Who knows?
A Pokémon sat at a round table, roughly the size of an outdoor table or picnic table. It was made out of a dark oak-ish kind of wood, or was it birch? Athena can't really tell due to the light.
The chairs seem to be made out of a different kind of wood. Elm, rowan or sycamore?
Some head lamps are on the table, shining the darkness away from the table. You can see some books from the surrounding shelves, though not a lot of them because of the darkness.
As Athena approached the table, she could identify the Pokémon that sat at the table. She was almost falling asleep, barely able to keep herself awake.
The Pokémon is a green fairy-like creature. She has round toeless feet, three-fingered hands, and clear wings on her back. She has a round head that comes to a curved point. She has large baby-blue eyes with thick black rings around them, and a pair of green antennae with blue tips.
From a glance, Athena knew this is Celebi. But for some reason, the time-traveling Pokémon had a purple scarf around her neck. Athena couldn't help but wonder where this scarf was from.
The time-traveling Pokémon finally puts her head on the table, closes her eyes, and falls asleep.
"That's weird..." Athena thought, as Mesprit went to wake up Celebi. "I would have thought Celebi would have been wide awake at this moment, but then again, she did witness a murder last night. She COULD have not been able to sleep..."
"Celebi!" Mesprit calls, gently shaking the sleeping Legendary to wake her up. Celebi straightens up, and blinks her eyes rapidly in surprised.
"I'm up, I'm up! Don't yell at me, Mom!"
Mesprit sweat-drops while Athena just chuckles a bit. "I'm not Arceus, Celebi. It's me, Mesprit!"
Celebi looks at Mesprit rather confused, due her sleeplessness. It took her about five seconds to recognize her.
"Oh, sorry...Mesprit..." Celebi covers her mouth, yawning. Once she stopped yawning, she smiled.
"I didn't get much sleep last night...Well, you know the cause..."
Mesprit nods, then points towards Athena, who grins. "This is Athena Cykes, one of Darkrai's attorneys. She's here to interview you, Celebi."
With a tired but inquisitive stare, Celebi looks at Athena for a second.
"So...you're the one who's gonna get Darkrai off the hook?"
This question took Athena by surprise. Usually, the first witness would be confident with their testimony so much that it would be enough to jail someone.
To have a witness act like this is quite shocking, to be honest. But on the other hand, not all witnesses are like that.
Athena nods, and flashes a perfect smile.
"That's right Celebi. I'm Athena..." She flashes a peace sign at the time-travelling Legendary.
"...I'm friendly and always ready to get the job done! And according to Cobalion, I look like an excitable banana! Das ist good, ja?!"
Celebi chuckles a little at what Athena is doing.
The thing is, Athena heard some sadness from Celebi's heart, and thought it would cheer her up a bit.
Hearing the happiness from Celebi's heart, it certainly worked.
Mesprit notices a white mug on the table, with remains of what seemed to be a dark liquid.
"Hey Celebi, what's that?" Mesprit asks, pointing towards the cup.
Celebi looks at the mug, and smiles a bit.
"Ah...Mr. Blackquill was kind enough to get some coffee for me, since I was tired..." Celebi replies, a small smile on her face.
"Despite his...scary appearance, and that little Talonflame on his shoulder, he's very kind..."
"That's Simon for you!" Athena thinks immediately, an image of the Prosecutor in black appearing in her head. "Much thanks, Simon!"
Mesprit grabs the mug, and then turns to Celebi. "I'm just gonna get you some more, Celebi. What type of coffee was it?"
"Blend #107."
Mesprit then teleports away to the kitchen where the hot drinks are kept.
Athena sits down on the chair, frowning with confusion. "You have coffee here?"
Celebi waves her hand to dismiss it. "Yeah... We have it here to get us awake in the morning. Most of us don't drink it anyway. I think Zekrom has it when he was up all night inventing."
Celebi shrugs her shoulders.
"Most of the time, the fire-types just throw cups of it at each other for fun. Dunno why. It kind of reminds me of something..."
Meanwhile, somewhere in the Hall, Phoenix sneezes.
Back to Athena, she frowns again, but then shakes her head.
"All right then. You know why I'm here."
Celebi's smile drops and a sad frown is on her face. "Yeah. About what happened last night…"
Athena gestures to Celebi. "I already know about the party last night. May you explain what you why you were at the Garden?"
Celebi nods. "Sure."
She then goes into a thinking pose, with Mesprit returning with the coffee. She places it on the table, and goes to Athena's side.
"Did I miss anything?" she questions telepathically, curious on what's happening at the moment.
Athena shakes her head. "No, she's just started."
"Well,.." Celebi begins, catching the attention of the two. "I was at the party from when it started till 7:50..."
"When did the party start?" Athena says, inquisitively. "It might give us a clue the time gap between when it started, and when the crime took place."
"It started at exactly 5:00pm." Celebi replies, quite confident about the time. Athena is taken aback by this.
"How can you be so sure that it was started exactly that time?"
"Because Dialga decided the time it started way before the party invitations were given out." Mesprit states, turning to Athena in the darkness.
"We wanted to start as soon as possible, but at the same time, give the humans enough time to prepare."
Athena went into her thinking pose. "That's fair enough. So, the party started at 6:00pm. Since Cresselia died at 7:30pm, that means she stayed at the party for about two hours. That's quite a bit of time..."
Celebi continues her explanation.
"I remember seeing Cresselia leaving around 6:50, as I heard Dialga tell the time to Palkia just as Cresselia told me she was going outside the party?"
"You spoke to one of the victim's before she died?" Athena inquires, surprised at this.
The time-traveling Legend nods. "Yeah. She left at 6:50 and she said she'll only take about twenty minutes."
"Wait a second..." Mesprit goes, in a thinking position, confused on what Celebi just said.
"If Cresselia left at 6:50, she was supposed to come back at 7:10, but she died in the garden at 7:30.
What was Cresselia doing in that time, anyway?"
Athena is thinking about this as well. "Well, it's quite possible that Cresselia was in the garden for more than twenty minutes, probably by accident and got caught by the murderer, or came at the instant the murder of Ash happened. I don't have any evidence to prove this, but I'll just jot it down..."
"Let's see, Cresselia was supposed to be gone for twenty minutes, but since she died at 7:30, she was gone for forty minutes. An interesting time gap."
Cresselia's Time Gap added to the Court Record.
"Continue, Celebi." affirms Mesprit, smiling softly but with a stern tone in her voice.
"Well, I left the party at 7:50, after Giratina reminded me about it. I went outside, and met Genesect, who was playing a game.
He came with me to the Garden, with some watering tools. It took about five minutes to get there."
"Why did you need those tools for the Garden?" Athena questions, wondering about this.
Celebi takes a sip of her coffee, and blushed a bit in embarrassment. "I have a hobby of growing plants. That Garden is my hobby itself. I grow plants there, and I take care of them. I usually have a timetable on when I water the plants."
Athena goes into a thinking pose, flicking her earring. "You do? What are the times?"
Celebi gets out of her seat, and floats to one of the other tables, and comes back with a sheet of paper, with a hand-written timetable.
She then points at the times. "I usually water my plants three times a day. The first is at 7:55 in the morning, the second is at 1 in the afternoon, and the third is from five to eight in the evening."
"...!" Athena realized, figuring out something. "Celebi, from what I can presume what happened next is that you saw the crime scene, with Darkrai, Ash and Cresselia."
"That's correct, why?"
"And how many Legendaries know of this timetable?"
Celebi shrugs. "I think every Legendary knows about what time I water my plants. I stuck some around the Hall to help me remember just in case. I bet everyone has seen a copy of my timetable."
Mesprit, although silent at this, looks at Athena with a skeptical look.
"*I think the murdererhas been very clever with the discovery of the bodies." Athena thinks to herself, grinning a bit. "Celebi has multiple copies of the timetable, meaning that the murderer had planned this out. Since the murdering method to Cresselia is different from Ash's, it means that Cresselia might have not been intended to be killed.
The murderer must have quickly thought of this, thoroughly. Knowing the timetable, assuming that the murderer is a Legendary, he or she knew that Celebi would come to the Garden soon, and discover the bodies.
But, the question is, since I believe that Darkrai is innocent, who did Celebi see at the scene?
And that explanation that Keldeo gave earlier... Is it possible from the frustration and anguish that Darkrai experienced from the prejudice that his old personality returned somehow?
I don't have any evidence to support that, but that timetable will be useful... "
Celebi's Timetable added to the Court Record.
"So, to be clear: Celebi saw Cresselia leave at 6:50pm. Cresselia does something for twenty minutes, and between 7:10pm and 7:30pm, she goes to the Garden, and gets killed for some reason. Celebi then heads over the Garden, meeting up with Genesect. Then, Celebi discovers the crime scene, with what appears to be time period must be important!
But Darkrai is in his room for the entire time, however...Hm..."
Mesprit, reading Athena's thoughts, turns to Celebi with a concerned expression on her face.
"What I am about to ask, Celebi, might have memories of what happened come back to you? Can you explain in detail what happened?"
Celebi suddenly shivers, and holds herself. Athena could hear the fear from her heart, intense fear. "Oh poor thing..." she mutters to herself.
"W-well..." Celebi starts, tugging on her scarf a little. "When...I...got there... I saw... Ash's and Cresselia's bodies...cold...lifeless...dead...! Sprawled over the plants, claw marks and snapped necks!"
Celebi clutches her head, trying to remember.
"I...was so...scared...! But then...!"
A flashback of the bloodied Darkrai appears before Celebi.
"I...saw Darkrai! Covered in blood! He...looked at me...smiled..."
Celebi suddenly grabs her neck, her eyes in fear.
"He...grabbed me round the neck...so tight...so hard... he said if I told anyone about this, he'll take me down himself...!"
Celebi breaths in and out rapidly, hyperventilating. Mesprit goes to comfort the frightened Legendary.
"He let go of me...I could barely breathe... Darkrai threw something... his...hair...?"
The time-travelling Pokémon looks confused at this part.
"And then...he slips into the shadows, and disappears..."
Celebi drinks the coffee quickly, and puts the cup back down, more calm than before.
She breathes deep in and out, but not as bad as before for a short while. Pretty soon, Celebi's breathing returned to normal.
"Uh...Sorry about that." Celebi goes, somewhat depressed about what happened. "I did the same when Mr. Blackquill was interviewing me..."
As Mesprit talks with Celebi, trying to make her feel happier, Athena is thinking again.
"Hm...what Celebi has said is useful but at the same time, very vague. She didn't actually see the murder happen, just the aftermath, but it doesn't explain why she saw a bloody Darkrai.
Nor why he threw his hair...
The whole thing that Celebi saw is vague itself. I won't say anything more about it, until tomorrow in Court.
But, what's with that scarf she's wearing...?How odd."
Celebi notices Athena looking at the scarf she's wearing. She shivers a bit.
"You're probably wondering why I'm wearing this..." she goes sadly, turning her head to the side.
Athena says nothing at this, while Mesprit looks at Celebi with a worried look.
The time-traveling Pokémon just looks at the two, not saying anything. She then, slowly and gently, takes off the scarf off, and puts it on the table.
Athena gasps, and Mesprit shakes with shock.
A large, dark purple bruise is round Celebi's neck, blistering at some places, bleeding at others. The bruise covers the entire of Celebi's neck, all the way round from the front to the back.
Celebi sighs.
"Virizion gave me the scarf to hide the bruise until tomorrow's trial, and some cream to help relieve the pain of it..." Celebi murmurs, wistfully.
"Despite how's she's acting recently, it was very kind of her..."
"Is that..." Athena starts, shocked on how large the bruise is. "...from what happened? Really?"
The green Legendary simply nods.
"Yes, it is. When I saw Darkrai, and he grabbed me round the neck, he must have gripped so tightly that it left a bruise..."
"Huh? That's not possible!" Athena realized. "I've seen Darkrai's hands, and I don't think they're big enough to leave a bruise ALL round the neck...
There's something strange with that bruise..."
Celebi's Bruise added to the Court Record
"Hm..." Athena goes, thinking about everything that Celebi has just said to them. "I think that's about it so far for the questions." Athena grins to Celebi. "You've been helpful and informative, Celebi! Gracias!"
Mesprit nods to the time travelling Pokémon as well, although without words. Celebi, however, is silent with a sad gaze.
"I..." she starts reluctantly. "...don't really know what I saw was real or not. I'm not even sure I should trust Darkrai any-more."
Celebi blinks, and sighs. "Ever since I saw Darkrai at the crime scene, no one is acting the same anymore. Everyone that I trust is acting all differently, the kind ones have become mean, and the mean ones even meaner."
Celebi puts her scarf back on, to hide the bruise. "I...don't know what makes sense anymore. I can't trust anyone, especially Darkrai."
She chuckles a bit, a depressed one.
"Heh. Funny, considering I was one of the ones before this happened that actually was kind to Darkrai..."
"...Celebi's thinking that Darkrai really did it." Athena considers. "I don't blame her. She did see the crime scene.
But there's so much doubt...
Regardless, I need to find a way to prove that Darkrai didn't do it, for his, and now, for Celebi's sake. Because she can't even believe in herself..."
The attorney in yellow turns to Mesprit. "Do you think we should go find Pikachu? I think we should ask him what Ash's movements on the night of the murder, since they are best friends."
Mesprit's eyes are looking somewhere else, although she is thinking. "Yes. I think we should. He could shed some light on how he got the Garden in the first place."
"Do you know where he is?"
"I haven't a cl-"
"I do." Celebi mentions, interrupting Mesprit. "He's in the Hall of Origin Mess Hall, which is in the North Wing."
Mesprit turns round and smiles. "Thanks Celebi! This is definitely useful! How did you know that, by the way?"
Celebi shrugs absent-mindedly. "Terrakion was here earlier, to check up on me to see how I was, despite being told by Mr. Blackquill to go see Pikachu. He left when Mr. Blackquill and Virizion arrived."
Celebi then smiles. "It was really kind of him to see how I was doing! It's...made me feel better."
"Maybe I can get some information out of Terrakion on why the Swords have a need to hide evidence from us." Athena ponders, smiling a bit. "By the looks of things, he sounds kinder than Cobalion and Virizion."
As they were about to leave, Athena remembers what Darkrai had said about Celebi attacking him.
Flashback Start:
Darkrai looks at all of them. "Celebi. Yesterday, Celebi slammed me against the wall all of sudden, with her eyes closed, laughing. Then she floats off weirdly."
Flashback End.
Athena spins round, with a frown on her face. "Just one more thing, Celebi. Darkrai said you attacked him the day before the murder. Is this correct?"
The time-travelling Pokémon's eyes widen in shock. "I never attacked him! I don't remember at all attacking him!"
"Huh..."
Celebi scowls, angrily. "I would never attack anyone unless they attacked me first! I don't remember at all attacking Darkrai!"
"That sounds very convincing..." Athena thinks, hearing Celebi's anger from her heart. "By the way she's reacting, Celebi's heart knows it's telling the truth. But, Mr. Wright's Magatama thingy didn't go off when Darkrai said Celebi attacked him...
What's going on here? Even more perplexing."
"Um..." starts a voice, and Athena turns to see it's Mesprit's voice. She blushes with embarrassment, but becomes determined.
"I know I shouldn't be reading your mind, and I have no clue what a Magatama is, but I believe you when you thought Darkrai was telling the truth about Celebi attacking him."
"Yeah, what about it?" Athena spoke telepathically to Mesprit.
"Well, the thing is, we have a medical bay somewhere in the Hall. I sometimes help out there. Celebi has been admitted there for the past few months for sleepwalking." Mesprit replies, softly.
"Sleepwalking?"
"Yes, that's right. Celebi recently became slightly worried for her plants due to winter. It's a lot colder on Spear Pillar, and the plants might die.
Due to that, Celebi's been sleepwalking near her garden, and always feels restless when she wakes up."
"So, what does it have to do with her attacking Darkrai?" Athena asks.
"Well..." Mesprit starts, looking at Celebi. "...Celebi's been prone to attacking other Legendaries while sleepwalking."
Athena's eyes widen in shock, and Mesprit nods, a frown on her usual soft smile face.
"That's right. Some of the other Legendaries have said that Celebi has been attacking them when they have gone near her Garden when she's sleeping.
It's quite possible that Celebi attacked Darkrai when she was sleeping because he was passing by through the Garden.
But the strangest thing is, Celebi doesn't remember her actions, only her dreams."
"That is weird." Athena thinks. She looks over to Celebi, who seems to have drifted off to sleep.
A small piece of paper is by her hand. Athena picks it up, and sees it's written in a strange text, nothing like Athena has seen in the Anime or Games or Manga. The writing is rough, and covered in splurges.
Mesprit looks at the paper, and frowns. "That's not Celebi's writing at all. It's in Unown lettering but it's complete gibberish to me..." she remarks, softly. "I wonder who that belongs to..."
"This...could be important."
Celebi's Bruise changed to Celebi's Data, and updated into the Court Record.

Hall of Origin – North Wing – Mess Hall
Before heading to the Mess Hall, Mesprit had teleported to Celebi's room along with her, to put her in bed so she can sleep more easily. They weren't just gonna let her sleep on the table, you know?
The Mess Hall's floors are black and white, chessboard style like the Garden, and there are four pillars at each corner, and one in the middle of the room. They all seem to be made out of marble, with smooth indents from the bottom to the top. The pillars have circular tops and bottoms.
There are several tables and chairs around the room, all seemingly made out of the same type of wood that the tables in the deepest part of the Library were made out of.
There is a metal hatch on the left side of the room, near the back, with barriers to show that there is a line. The barriers go to the back wall, and across it.
The ceiling is made out of obsidian glass; polish cleaned so much you can see your reflection in it. The walls of the Mess Hall are a rich cream color.
When Athena and Mesprit arrive to the Mess Hall, it is mostly empty, no other Pokémon or humans to be seen, apart from two.
The first to be seen is Phoenix himself. He is trying, and from the expression on his face and the despair from his heart, failing to get any answers out of anyone.
The other is another Legendary Pokémon.
The Legendary is a bovine, quadruped Pokémon.
Athena recognized the Legend as Terrakion, and from what Athena can judge from his expression, he's actually being quite polite to Phoenix, a stark contrast to Virizion.
As Athena and Mesprit slowly approach them, the attorney in yellow overhears what Phoenix and Terrakion are talking about.
"...very important to our investigation!" Phoenix says, with what he is saying coming into hearing. "I need some information on Ash's whereabouts on the night of the murder!"
Terrakion frowns, not angrily but out of sheer pity. "Mr. Blue Lawyer, I completely understand where you are coming from. You want to find evidence and ask questions to help your client, Darkrai."
Terrakion shakes his head. "But I've been ordered by Cobalion not to let you know anything. No hard feelings at all."
Phoenix looks disheartened at this. "Aw...damn...more bad luck as it is."
Terrakion frowns, but then notices Athena and Mesprit approaching them.
"Hey, Mesprit!" he remarks, to the shy Emotion Legendary. "What are you doing here, and what's with the giant banana?"
An angry anime tick appears on the side of Athena's head.
"I'M NOT A GIANT BANANA, YOU MORONS!"
Terrakion jumps at Athena's sudden yelling, looking with a startled expression on his face, while Mesprit giggles a bit.
"I...don't have a banana with me, Terrakion." Mesprit mumbles softly, but loud enough to hear.
"This is Athena Cykes, one of Darkrai's attorneys."
While the attorney in yellow is gritting her teeth, seething in anger, Terrakion turns to Phoenix with a frown on his face, unsure. "...Is she always like that?"
Phoenix sighs, shaking his head. "Not always. Only when being called something she doesn't like."
The Sword of Justice nods, and turns his focusing point on Athena.
"Sorry about that."
"Es mejor que tengas, te estúpidas ovejas!" Athena yells, at Terrakion, in Spanish.
Terrakion blinks, eyes wide open. "I have no clue what you just said, but..."
He grins with a friendly smile.
"Might as well introduce myself. It would be unjust of me if I let someone introduce themselves first, as you are the one who seeks information, correct?"
Athena is silent at that last sentence.
"...Unjust?"
Terrakion smirks, and bows. "I am Terrakion, Sword of Justice. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Athena Cykes, Attorney at Law. And NOT a banana!"
"YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!" Widget screams, suddenly.
Terrakion looks confused. "What the heck was that?"
As Terrakion was saying that previous sentence, Athena puts on hand on Widget to make sure he doesn't yell anything.
"E-eh... nothing..." Athena goes, disheartened.
Phoenix, watching the commotion, chuckles a bit. "So, Athena. What are you doing here?" he asks. "Seems like a coincidence that we both bumped into each other."
Athena grins, giving the peace sign."Well, after talking with Celebi, I decided to come and have a talk with Pikachu." She then frowns. "Speaking of which, where is he?"
"Pikachu is just outside the room for a moment." Terrakion replies, with a smile. He then drops his smile into a sad frown.
"Um...He's...grieving... Cobalion told me to try and find out Ash's whereabouts on the evening..."
Terrakion looks away from Athena.
"I can't get anything out of Pikachu. I've tried. He's...just too upset from what happened. Can't blame him. He's just lost his best friend. I have no clue what I'd do if that happens to me..."
Athena nods, remembering back to how Apollo had acted after Clay's death. Constant sadness, and sometimes anger, to the person who did it.
"Could...we talk to him?" Mesprit questions, softly and innocently.
Terrakion shakes his head.
"No, I can't." he says, cheerless. "The first, I'm under strict orders not to let you talk to Pikachu."
"Curse you, Cobalion!" Athena thinks to herself, clenching his fist. "You're really starting to get on my nerves."
"But..." Terrakion starts again, still sad. "...if I was allowed to, and to be honest, I do, I think you can't get anything out of Pikachu anyway. He's...too distraught to talk at the moment."
Athena slowly nods at this. It's fair enough that Pikachu is still grieving over Ash's death.
Anyone who still upset if someone they knew and love (in this case, platonic) died in any way is really heartbreaking, but having to talk about them and what they did might push them over their limits and even shatter their heart.
Athena might have to ask later...
"But wait, what does he mean by 'and to be honest, I do'?"
"I see..." Phoenix mutters to himself.
His eyes then drift over to see Mesprit, who promptly disappears as soon as she realizes Phoenix is looking at her.
Athena chuckles a little bit. "Don't worry about her. She's Mesprit, and she's helping me out on my investigation. She's...um... shy. Très timide."
Phoenix is taken aback by this.
"Why?"
Mesprit then re-appears, looking nervous. "Your spikes remind me of Shaymin…"
Phoenix then sweats, disheartened a little. "Now I understand. I accidentally encountered her earlier, and she nearly, metaphorically and literally, bit my head off...!"
"Yeah..." Terrakion muttered, looking really startled by what was just said. "May Arceus save your soul, pal!"
Phoenix then starts to chat with the Emotion Legendary, who slowly warms up to the blue lawyer.
In the meantime, Athena decides to talk with Terrakion, turning towards him after seeing the conversation between Phoenix and Mesprit start.
"Do you mind if I ask some questions?"
Terrakion frowns, but not angrily. "Eh...I'll try and answer them. Cobalion told me not to say much, but I'm a nice guy. I'll do my best."
"Why are the Swords hiding so much evidence from me?" Athena pondered, suspicious. "At least Terrakion is being polite. Keldeo was being stubborn and Virizion was just too rude!"
"Ask ahead!"
"I heard from Keldeo that you told him to stop anyone investigating the crime scene." Athena begins, remembering what Keldeo had said.
"Why?"
"Hmm..." Terrakion starts, thinking. "I can't tell you that. All I can tell you is that Virizion wants to have a good hard look at the scene again later on. That's why."
"What?" Athena whispers to herself. "I've could have sworn that he was angry when he mentioned Virizion...Is he angry at her?"
"Anything else?"
Athena nods, determined to get SOME information out of Terrakion. She thought about for a second, and remembered one of the key things the law must do to hold a suspect. A motive.
"Do you have an EXACT motive for Darkrai? At all?" she asks, inquisitive, causing Mesprit and Phoenix to stop in their conversation to look towards Athena and Terrakion talking.
"If, and I'm saying, IF Darkrai did kill Ash and Cresselia, what would motivate him to do the crime in the first place?"
"Well," Terrakion started, with an emotionless expression on his face. "I was told by Prosecutor Blackquill not to reveal it until the trial starts..."
"That, I'm not surprised at." Athena remarks, nodding at what Terrakion said. "Prosecutors usually do that before the trial starts."
"Huh." Terrakion thinks for a moment, but then looks at Athena. "Never knew that, but..."
The Cave Sword of Justice smirks at Athena, confident. "...I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell ya."
"FINALLY!" Widget screams, all too suddenly, reading Athena's thoughts and yelling it out. Athena quickly clamps the little robot shut, while Terrakion looks confused at Athena, looking somewhat startle.
The Sword of Justice frowns. "Okay then..."
He sighs, then smiles. "Well, I heard from Lugia in a telepathic message that he gave you Cresselia's Autopsy Report, correct?"
Athena nods. "Yes, it is. I've read it as well."
"Good. As you could tell from how Cresselia died, it was different from Ash's death. If the murderer did intend to kill Cresselia, he would have done it in the same manner as Ash, or somewhat similar."
Phoenix turns his head slightly to speak in.
"So the murder method was different from Ash's. What does that mean?"
"To be frank..." Terrakion remarks, seriously. "If you get what I am saying, Cresselia was never meant to die in the first place. She must have stumbled upon the crime scene just after or as it happened, and the murderer killed her because she witnessed it. The motive for killing her was to prevent her from talking."
Phoenix and Mesprit's eyes become wide in shock, while Athena isn't surprised.
"Just as I thought. I thought that might have been the reason Cresselia was killed... But, what about Ash?"
Terrakion rubs the back of his head with embarrassment.
"If ya thinking about what was the murderer's motive for killing Ash, well..."
Terrakion sighs, looking glum. "...this is a bit embarrassing to say but we, as I mean, we the Swords of Justice...haven't found a motive yet..."
…
…
...
"WWWHHHAAATTT?!" Athena screams.
Mesprit eeps and disappears quickly, only to re-appear after a few seconds.
Phoenix's eyes widen at this revelation.
"W-w-w-what do you mean...?" Mesprit stutters, utterly scared.
Terrakion grits his teeth. "We searched the crime scene itself, and even interrogated Darkrai about it. We can't find a motive for him to killing Ash!"
He then stomps his foot in anger.
"It looks like an unprovoked attack! The evidence at the crime scene even suggests that!"
"That may be good for us..." Athena thinks to herself. "This means that though Darkrai doesn't have a motive for killing Ash, it still doesn't make any sense... There's always a motive! What could have been gained from killing Ash? But what?"
Terrakion sighs. "Eh...I hope that useful to ya..." he starts, looking away. "Anything else?"
Athena thinks for a moment, and remembers the Strange Note that she found at the Library. Maybe Terrakion might know what it says.
Athena pulls out the Strange Note from the Court Record, and gives to Terrakion.
"Mesprit and I found this note at the Library." she remarks, looking very curious at Terrakion. "Do you know what it says?"
"I'll have a look." Terrakion states, before looking at the note. He goes to read the note, going over the writing that Athena found impossible to read.
His eyes widen in shock.
"ARGH!" Terrakion yells, surprised. He turns to look at Athena in anger. "Who found this?! TELL ME!"
As Mesprit disappears again, Athena blinks. "I presume it to be Celebi. It was on the table she was at."
The Cave Sword mutters something to himself, then sighs. "Thanks for giving it back to me..."
"When did you get it? What does it say?" Athena asked.
"I got it around 11pm last night." Terrakion shook his head, frowning. "As for what it says...It's...nothing."
"Oh..." Phoenix goes, softly, to himself. Athena turns her head to see him holding his Magatama, which is glowing.
That means that the Psyche Locks have appeared in front of Terrakion's heart.
"How many?" Athena whispers to Phoenix, loud enough for Terrakion not to hear.
"Three."
Athena looks back at Terrakion, and grins.
Time to break some Psyche Locks.
PSYCHE LOCK:
Mystery of the Strange Note
"Terrakion." Athena starts, seriously. "I believe there's more than meets the eye with that note. You're lying."
The Sword of Justice frowns.
"What do ya mean?!"
"Well, you seemed very scared when you realized what that note said, but judging from your behavior, you've already know about it. Just now, you admit that it was yours!"
Terrakion nods.
"Yeah. What's this got to do with the note?"
"Glad you asked!" Athena grins, giving a peace sign. Then, she ponders. "You were scared of the note, but I think something else came out of it. Whatever it says, it has changed your behavior."
Terrakion scowls, angrily. "I haven't a clue what you mean!"
"In fact," Athena starts, sternly. "I think it's affected all of the Swords of Justice."
Suddenly, Terrakion became very nervous, sweating a bit. "I-I...STILL don't know what you're talking about!"
"You can't play dumb with me, Terrakion. Just tell me!"
"SHOW SOME BLOODLY PROOF, THEN!" Terrakion suddenly roars, furious at this. "SHOW ME SOME PROOF THAT PROVES THIS!"
Athena jumps at his yelling, falling down in the progress. She quickly gets up, and composes herself.
"You want evidence, huh? Here some evidence that proves that your behavior has changed!"
TAKE THAT!
Athena presents a profile of Lugia to Terrakion.
"Well, Lugia seems to think you've all changed. He respected all four of you before this whole mess, but now he hates the Swords."
Terrakion is silent for a minute.
"..."
"Terrakion?"
"...HA!" Terrakion goes, confidently, grinning. "I never liked Lugia in the first place, anyway! That doesn't count as proof!"
"Actually," Mesprit says through telepathy, softly. "It does. Mr. Wright says that the first sign which I've been told is a Psyche Lock shaking! Try something else!"
Stronger proof is needed, then. Athena thinks over it, then comes to an conclusion.
"Okay, Lugia hating you isn't proof of anything, but I got something stronger, Terrakion!"
"Huh?!"
"Here is some proof that the Sword's behavior has changed, but this time, with a stronger impact! This should change things!"
TAKE THAT!
Keldeo's profile is shown to Terrakion.
He looks at it, horrified and feeling slightly nauseated.
"W-w-w-w-w-wha..."
"We spoke with Keldeo earlier." Athena states, emotionless.
Terrakion looks up, blood running cold.
"Y-y-you d-d-did?"
Athena nods, frowning with anger.
"When we spoke with him, he was angry at the rest of the Swords, especially with you."
"Eh...?!"
"He's got really angry when you said 'the bastard getting what he deserves. I hope they execute him painfully!' From that, Keldeo was really angry at you. VERY angry."
Then, Terrakion became stoic, knowing what he said.
"Huh… I expected that..."
"He also had a rant about the other Swords of Justice, venting his frustrations."
"..." Terrakion goes, just staring at Athena in silence.
"Do you want to know something?" Athena asks, finishing up. "I think Keldeo has started to hate the rest of the Swords."
"...!" Terrakion goes, looking aghast at Athena.
She shrugs her shoulders. "No wonder. You've all become massive jerks anyway, and it wouldn't surprise me that somebody who looked up to you starting hating you. I think he absolutely loathes the Swo-"
"NO!" Terrakion roars, his expression looking appalled and upset. "KELDEO IS EVERYTHING TO THE SWORDS! HE DOESN'T REALLY KNOW WHY WE'RE DOING TTTTTHHHIIIISSSSSSS!"
Phoenix smiles, at the sight of the first of Terrakion's Psyche Locks shatters, and the second forming cracks.
Athena hears a faint pulse of happiness, and decides to press on.
"'He doesn't know why we're doing this!'? So, we're getting somewhere."
"Ack!" Terrakion barks, stunned by this. "Damn it!"
"You just admitted that the Swords are acting differently, due to some reason. But, some of your real personality is showing through, your strive for real justice."
Terrakion flinches, sweating nervously.
"W-w-what d-do you mean?!"
"Well," Athena starts, smiling. "There is some evidence that shows that not all the Swords of Justice believe that Darkrai did it."
"...!"
The young psychologist smirks. "And here's some evidence to show it!"
"AHH!"
TAKE THAT!
Athena gives Terrakion the profile of himself. The Cave Sword looks at it with confusion, hurts himself in it, and looks at Athena.
"...Me?"
Athena nods. "Yes, you. You're the evidence."
"How am I evidence?"
"Well, earlier, there was something I noticed. When we were talking about the motives, you were referring Darkrai as 'the murderer'. Everyone else who I talked about the crime used Darkrai as the metaphor for the killer!"
"Ack!" goes Terrakion.
"Now, there is a puzzle afoot. Why did you refer Darkrai as just 'the murderer'?"
Athena points at Terrakion, swiftly and determined.
"The puzzle is clear! You don't think Darkrai did the crime!"
"NNNNNOOOOOOO...!"
Phoenix smiles a bit again. "Another Psyche Lock bites the dust.
One more to go, just one.
"HANG ON, HANG ON!" Terrakion shouts, completely livid. "I do NOT think Darkrai didn't do the crime! I did! There's something else to it!"
"Are you prepared to tell me, then?"
"Grr..." Terrakion grits his teeth in annoyance, growling at Athena, who isn't fazed by it. "That's none of your business!"
"It is MY business." Athena states, putting emphasis on. "Something has caused the Swords to act strangely, ever since Ash died.
And, it's my job to find what it is! That's right!"
"Grrr...!" Terrakion growls, louder this time.
Athena pulls out Cresselia's Autopsy Report.
"Ever since we're arrived here, like I said, the Swords have been acting funny, and picking out from your little outburst earlier, Keldeo doesn't know about it."
"...We kept him in the dark for a reason." Terrakion says, scowling lividly. "I am not going to say why. THAT is ALL."
Athena shakes her head.
"No, you're going to explain it to me. All of it."
"...!"
"You've all been refusing to let the defense team investigate, disobeying the prosecution's orders, hiding evidence and acting like massive assholes to the ones around all three of you and the defense team."
Athena scowls. "And Keldeo is extremely frustrated with that."
"You." Terrakion starts, dangerously. "Cannot prove anything. ANYTHING, YOU HEAR ME!"
Athena shakes her head.
"No, I can. And here is the evidence that shows that your behavior is real!"
TAKE THAT!
Athena shows Terrakion the Strange Note.
"Huh?"
"I've finally figured it out, Terrakion." Athena states, smiling as she knows she's won. "The cause of this strange behavior is behind this note!"
"T-t-that's impossible! Even if we did change how we act, this doesn't prove anything!"
Athena shakes her head once more.
"No, it's possible. Earlier, you stated that you got the note around 11pm last night, a few hours after Ash and Cresselia's death. The Swords have been acting strangely since last night. You do the math."
"Nonononononononononononono!"
Athena points out at Terrakion, swiftly once more. "I haven't a clue what it says, but the note is the reason why the Swords have changed from Champions of Justice to corrupted scum!"
A beam of orange light begins to form round Terrakion's mouth, his head up high and shoots a massive Hyper Beam at the ceiling.
The entire place shakes for about a minute, and stops when the Hyper Beam finish, leaving a clean hole in the ceiling.
Terrakion lowers his head, and breaths in and out.
"Huff...Puff..."
He looks at Athena, and cracks a small smile. "...You...got me, kid...Good job..."
Phoenix's eyes widen as the final Psyche shatters, and the chains disappears.
PSYCHE LOCK END
He smiles, as he watches Mesprit float slowly over to Terrakion to hand him a small drink, while Athena's attention is still on Terrakion.
Catching his breath, and swallowing a little, Terrakion sighs.
"Yeah, it's true." he murmurs. "That note...has caused us to pursue this corrupted investigation."
"What...is it?" Mesprit questions, softly.
Terrakion remains silent as he stares at the note. A deep anger starts to come from his heart, startling Athena.
"It's..." he starts, scowling harder than ever. "...a blackmail letter."
Silence fell into the room, as the revelation drives into the minds of the beings in that room.
"WHHHHAAATTTT?!" Phoenix screams, shocked completely.
"AAAAHHHH!" Mesprit goes, disappearing again.
Athena, eyes wide open, is completely surprised by this.
"W-what?! How is it a blackmail letter?!" she interrogates, wanting to know what it says.
"Well, first things first, it's in Unown lettering." Terrakion explains. "You've got to take the Unown lettering and replace it with, say English lettering."
Terrakion flips the note over, and translates the Unown lettering on the other side onto this side.
He then gives it to Athena, frowning.
The attorney in yellow then looks at the letter:
'WVZI HDLIWH LU QFHGRXV.
IVNVNYVI GSZG UZELFI R ZHP BLF GL PVVK?
UROO RG LFG MLD.
TVG WZIPIZR Z TFROGB EVIWRXG LI BLFI HVXIVG DROO YV IVEVZOVW.
UILN, GSV HVXIVG PVVKVI.'
"It's...gibberish..." Athena remarks, confused. "I can't understand any of it!"
"Because a special code is needed to translate it." Terrakion explains once more. "It's in reverse Alphabet. For example, if you wrote 'THE', you'll get 'GSV'"
Terrakion grabs the note again.
"Here, I'll translate once more."
He then puts the note down on one of the tables, and begins to translate again. Once done, he passes it to Athena, who reads it.
Her eyes widen.
This is what the note says:
'DEAR SWORDS OF JUSTICE.
REMEMBER THAT FAVOUR I ASK YOU TO KEEP?
FILL IT OUT NOW.
GET DARKRAI A GUILTY VERDICT OR YOUR SECRET WILL BE REVEALED.
FROM, THE SECRET KEEPER.'
"That..." Terrakion remarks, seriously, angrily and nervously. "...is what the note is. It's a blackmail letter."
Athena looks up, still confused on the whole thing.
"What is this favor this...'secret keeper' is talking about?! A secret? Who is the secret keeper?!"
"Hold on." Terrakion states, slightly mysteriously.
"Let's start at the beginning."
Terrakion sits down, looking the other way.
"I heard that in your world, Ash's adventures are broadcast as a show, and sometimes there are films, correct?"
Athena nods, not sure where this is going.
Terrakion sighs.
"Well, from that, remember the movie that had Keldeo face off against Kyurem? That wasn't supposed to happen at all."
Athena frowns, confused.
"I know. Keldeo gets restless about his battle, tries to battle Kyurem and loses badly, but still gets accepted for as a Sword of Justice. The problem?"
"When do you think the date for the actual battle was?" Terrakion asks, staring with an unimpressed scowl on his face. "Keldeo was going to battle Kyurem anyway, but when do you think the date for the battle was?"
For once, Athena didn't know what to think. This question has come out of the blue!
Well, considering that Keldeo has been trained by his masters for a certain amount of years, maybe a thousand years, he could have been close to finishing his training.
Maybe he was a year away from fighting Kyurem...?
"A year...?"
The Cave Sword smirks bitterly.
"HA!" Terrakion laughs, gauntly. "Not even close!"
He then frowns, scowling harder than before. "Keldeo wasn't supposed to fight Kyurem for another 75 years."
"WHAT?!" Mesprit suddenly screams, surprised completely by this, and somewhat yelling out of her character.
Athena looks at Terrakion with an unsure expression on her face.
"Keldeo battled Kyurem too early, something that was supposed to be arranged until 75 years later."
Terrakion remarks, frowning.
"Arceus likes things to be in order, and gets extremely pissed off when something is out of order. She would have been very angry if she found out about what happened."
"You mean you haven't told her?!" Phoenix shouts, not expecting this.
Terrakion nods, solemnly.
"Just let me explain so you can ask ya questions at the end." he replies.
"Normally, Arceus doesn't get angry. It rarely happens. But, at the time when Keldeo fought Kyurem, she was still VERY pissed off at Dialga, Palkia and Giratina for fighting with each other. Not enough to kill every living thing, but still pissed.
If she found out that something that was supposed to happen in 75 years time happened recently, she would have lost her freaking mind.
So, when Keldeo was healing from his injuries, me, Cobalion and Virizion decided to keep it quiet for a while, until Arceus' mood got better.
We even asked Kyurem to keep silent about it. He usually doesn't talk at meetings, and keeps himself to himself. Kyurem talks more when he's battling, so when we turned up to ask him to keep quiet about the fight, he agreed. He didn't want any fuss near his home.
Well, after Arceus calmed down, we were about to set off for the Hall when a note arrived, in that code the blackmail letter said."
"What did it say?" Mesprit asks, nervously.
Shadows appear over Terrakon's eyes.
"It said 'Dear Swords of Justice.
I know your secret, the secret of your student fighting the ice dragon. Wouldn't your mother be SO disappointed and angry at you? A promise to fight at that date shattered, by your tardiness and lack of discipline. I have a way out for you. I shall keep this secret of yours, in exchange for a favor. What it is? Well, you'll find out later. I shall call upon this favor when I need it. It will be anything, in exchange for me keeping this secret.
From, the Secret Keeper.'"
Athena thought for a moment about what was said, and Terrakion continued.
"So, we decided to do the favor for this 'Secret Keeper'..." he goes, somewhat reluctantly. "I say we, I mean Cobalion."
"Was?"
"Cobalion...he's quite the stubborn type. He hates admitting his mistakes, even to our own mother, because he doesn't not like being embarrassed AT all."
"So?" goes Phoenix, skeptical of this.
"Cobalion goes to any lengths to prevent any embarrassment." Terrakion says, thinking back to the past.
"What happened with Kyurem was a mistake. It's wasn't Keldeo's fault. He didn't understand why we wouldn't let him battle Kyurem. However, Cobalion is angry at himself for making the mistake of letting Keldeo out of his sights, and to prevent him from battling Kyurem, which at the time, wasn't ready for. This mistake was huge for him, and Cobalion isn't still ready to admit it. Talk to him about it, and he'll completely ignore you."
"Or have Black Psyche Locks appear..." Phoenix thinks, to himself.
"For someone or some Pokémon to know about that mistake..." Terrakion continues. "...scares Cobalion. It's being used as Blackmail against him, and in turn, against me and Virizion. Keldeo knows none of this."
"Wait, how does the Blackmail affect you?" Athena quizzes, to Terrakion.
"As a Sword of Justice, when one thing affects one of us, it affects all of us. It was referring to all of us, because, what I think, it was threatening to reveal the secret of Cobalion's, and the writer knows that he'll make me and Virizion stay quiet as well. He was right."
"Why did you keep Keldeo out of it?" Mesprit questions, softly and quietly.
"Keldeo would have felt guilty about it." Terrakion replies, looking to the side. "Although we don't blame him, he is the one who started the mess off, by going and starting a fight with Kyurem. If he knew of the blackmail, a heavy guilt would be upon him."
"So, then what happened after you got the letter?" Athena asks, once more.
"Well," Terrakion starts off once more. "The 'Secret Keeper' went quiet for about a year. We knew that he or she must be one of the Legendaries, so Cobalion tried to investigate without success. Since it was written, it must have been one of the Legendaries who done it, since we thought a Legendary wrote the letter. Regular Pokémon don't know this code.
We started off with Kyurem, since he might have not been a bit honest about keeping the secret. But, Kyurem's handwriting doesn't match the one on the note.
We've tried almost all the Legendaries. None of their handwriting match at all!"
"You still don't know who the blackmailer is?!" Athena comments, still in disbelief.
Terrakion shakes his head in desperation.
"That's right! Someone or something knows what happen on that day, and is using it against us. As I said earlier, we got the note a few hours after the murders. I'm a bit suspicious on why, but Cobalion wants to find the evidence to prove Darkrai guilty no matter what, like the note said. The reason why we kept evidence from ya is a combination of Cobalion's tendency to admit mistakes to avoid embarrassment and his hatred for Darkrai!"
"Keldeo told us earlier that one of the reasons why Darkrai is hated is that he was the first Darkrai." Athena starts, once more. "And he was so evil and the sins he committed were so atrocious that Arceus intentionally wiped all of his memories and his evil thoughts away to re-build him from scratch. Is that Cobalion hates Darkrai?"
Terrakion looks sad for a couple of minutes.
He took a deep breath and sighs.
"Cobalion's a good Legend. I assure you that. However, he has never trusted Darkrai because of who he was. Cobalion is afraid that Darkrai will go back to his old ways, and he's just trying to protect the Hall from him, if it happens.
How do I know?
I…..feel...the same way."
Terrakion looks to the side again, looking depressed. "And that's the reason why we're being jerks to ya. Someone or something is blackmailing Cobalion, which in turn, is blacking us. I acted like that in front of Keldeo, just in case they might be watching us, so they don't get suspicious of our actions."
Some tears start to form around Terrakion's eyes, although he doesn't realize this yet.
"I...am really sorry for my comrades' actions and decisions. It's because of one minor weakness that we're getting blackmailed. If only Cobalion didn't do that sort of thing..."
He sighs again.
"I think Virizion is feeling the same way, and somewhere in Cobalion's mind, the same as well. This..."
Terrakion frowns, angrily.
"...isn't us! We're not jerks, we friendly, and helpful, and kind...What we're doing now...is completely stupid... So freaking stupid...
We are the Swords of Justice! We shouldn't be in fear of a secret, nor blackmail!"
He then frowns again.
"But... due to some irrational thoughts at the first blackmail letter, we can't do anything now. Arceus will be furious at us...
Looks like in the end, even the Swords of Justice aren't perfect...
Secrets and lies is all we represent now, since Ash and Cresselia died...
I never blamed Keldeo for what happened, and I don't blame him for hating us..."
Athena now sees why the Swords are acting funny.
All they wanted was to avoid trouble, by keeping a secret away from Arceus, and protecting their student.
However, someone or something knows what happened at Full Court, and is using that to get what they want with the Swords. Because of a secret, more secrets appear, and from that, lies appear.
The Swords are in a big mess, and one of them doesn't even know about it, because the other three care about him too much to let him know that what he did caused this mess.
Why does the blackmailer want Darkrai to be found guilty? Maybe the blackmailer and the killer are the same, and is trying everything in their power to prove Darkrai's guilt.
But, if the blackmailer isn't a Legendary, then who is?
Something strange and dark is going on, and Athena might have just scratched the surface of it.
Strange Note Updated into Blackmail Letter and added into the Court Record.
"Eh..." Terrakion goes, wiping his tears away, scowling angrily. "I shouldn't be moping around about this! I should be doing something about it! I'm going to find who's blackmailing us, FOR GOOD!"
Terrakion suddenly glares at Athena. "You can go see Pikachu now. I don't give a shit if I get in trouble any more. I'm preparing to pay the consequence as long as I find who that FREAKING blackmailer is!"
Terrakion proceeds to stomps off, but before stopping to look at Phoenix. "How on earth did ya find out my secret like that?!"
"I-it's nothing special, really...!"
"Ya coming with me. Me and ya are going to find out anything strange that has happened in the last few days, gotcha?!"
"Wait, what?!"
Terrakion then begins to shove Phoenix out of the room, leaving Athena and Mesprit in the room, looking confused.
They then look at each other, smile in Mesprit's case and grin in Athena's case, and go to the other exit, where Pikachu is sat outside.
As they walk, there is something on Athena's mind.
Who is this blackmailer? And what if the Swords aren't the only victims?
What if the reach of the blackmailer's wrath extends to the other Legends?
What caused Ash to leave the party in the first place?
To be continued...

Image of Cresselia: Shows Cresselia's body. Her neck is twisted, with a small amount of blood coming out from her mouth.
Zoology of Legends: A book on the Legendary Pokémon, on everything, from form differences to moves, act. I don't particularly need it, but Apollo and my Boss do...

Blackmail Letter: A blackmail letter in a very complex code of writing, in Unown lettering and the letters are can be translated by flipping the alphabet backwards. It's a blackmail letter to the Swords of Justice, excluding Keldeo, threatening to reveal to Arceus about what happened with Kyurem. None of the Legendaries' handwriting match.
Profiles:
Athena Cykes: That's me! A greenhorn attorney still fresh from a big case, and had been dragged into the Pokémon World to defend a Legendary Pokémon. I would have never expected this… ever.
Phoenix Wright: My boss, and the Head of the Wright & Co Law Offices. The attorney for Darkrai on the third day. Will do anything to find the truth, though he is sarcastic most of the time.
Apollo Justice: My co-worker, and a fellow attorney. He's the attorney for Darkrai on the second day. He yells a lot but he means well.
Simon Blackquill: A former prisoner and a prosecutor who's a close friend of mine. He's my opponent for the first day of Darkrai's trial. Kinda scary sometimes but he's really nice.
Klavier Gavin: A musician who is also a Prosecutor, and Apollo's opponent on the second day. I think he's great, though Apollo doesn't like him. I wonder why?
Miles Edgeworth: The Chief Prosecutor for L.A., an old rival for my boss, and the prosecutor for the last day. His skills as a Prosecutor are legendary.
Mesprit: The Emotion Legendary, and my partner for my investigation! She's very kind, a bit shy and soft-spoken though...
Arceus: The leader of the Legends Order, and the Pokémon God of the Pokémon world. Serious and firm, apparently Arceus is a female despite me seeing the 12th Movie...
Giratina: A Legendary Pokémon that's a large dragon. Quite blunt and sarcastic sometimes, he cares for Darkrai. Despite his hardened shell, he's actually quite kind.
Genesect: A Legendary that resembles a robotic insect. Acts weird for some reason.
Darkrai: The Nightmare Pokémon, and the defendant for this case. Despite his looks and reputation, he's quite nice, though slightly anti-social. He's sometimes bullied by the other Legends for his nightmare powers.
Ash Ketchum: The main protagonist for the Pokémon Anime, the Chosen One for the Legendaries, and one of the victims. Was here in the Hall of Origin for a party celebrated in his honor.
Cresselia: Darkrai's counterpart, and the other victim. Was one of the Legends who didn't care about his powers.
Cobalion: A Sword of Justice, and one of the investigators for the crime scene, or how I would put it, the Detective for the case. He, Terrakion and Virizion are getting blackmailed into obtaining evidence to prove Darkrai's guilt no matter what.
Celebi: A friendly Legendary who's the witness to the crime, which she was almost strangled. Seems to become frightened when asked to recall what happened. Maybe she has PTSD?
Keldeo: The youngest Sword of Justice. He's torn between helping his masters, and a fair trial for Darkrai. He doesn't know his masters are getting blackmailed...
Lugia: The Guardian of the Sea, and one of the investigators for the Prosecution. Wanting to find the truth, and apparently a good rapper...
Virizion: A Sword of Justice, and one of the investigators, who's going round with Simon. She, Terrakion and Cobalion are getting blackmailed.
Terrakion: A Sword of Justice, and the only one who's not been a jerk to the Defence team. He's revealed why they've been acting like that, which is due to blackmail.
Pikachu: Haven't met him yet, but according to Terrakion, is too upset to speak...

So, apologies for such a long delay in actual chapter content. Niro sent this to me a while back, but I only got to it recently. As a notification, I deleted the previous 'Chapter 5 author's note' to not clog things up. It'll probably mess with the reviews. Because of FanFiction's odd 1 review per chapter rule, if you want to review, just do so under another chapter specifying Chapter 5 or simply PM me. Again, thanks for reading.
