To make up for not updating for a long time, here's another chapter for you. I'll try to update within 2-3 days because I'm on a vacation right now. Hope you guys like it.

Chapter 30
Sean continues to walk not knowing where to go after the fight. Tears are threatening to fall from his eyes but he tries to stop it. He bumps into people not only once or twice but he already lost count. He stops when he realizes he was almost at the end. He looks around and noticed that he's all alone in that area. He sat near the water and buried his face in his hands. He started to cry letting go of his feelings. Cheater! It keeps ringing in his minds.
"I'm not a cheater!" He yelled wanting to get it out from his chest. The pain of the past suddenly rushes back in his mind. It reminded him of Calypso's cheating, where all his pain started. So when Annabeth called him a cheater set him to the edge. That was the last thing he'll ever do because he knows how painful it is to see your loved one cheated on you.
When he calmed himself, he stared at the water for God knows how long. He absentmindedly caresses his jaw where Thalia hit him. Then he finally notices that the sun was about to set. He was supposed to watch this with Annabeth but right now it seems impossible for that to happen. He then decided to find a store where he can buy some beer.
He went back to the shore and drinks his beer. When he's done with 3 cans he decided to go in the water to take a swim and to let him cool down for a while. When he's tired enough he went back to the shore and drinks the remaining 3 beers.
Back in the house
Annabeth and Thalia enters the room. Silena notices that Annabeth is crying. "What happened?" She asks as she rushes to Annabeth side. Annabeth just shook her head. Silena look at Thalia. "We saw Sean kissing some girl outside." Thalia said angrily. "What?" Silena asked disbelievingly. "Are you sure?" "Of course we are pretty damn sure!" Thalia snarled. "Did you see it?" Katie butted in and walk towards them. Clarisse who was sleeping wakes up from the commotion inside the room. "What's going on?" She asked as she rubs off the sleep from her eyes.
"Sean is a cheater!" Thalia stated. "Did you at least hear him out?" Katie asked. "What's there to hear when we already saw the proof?" Thalia replied angrily. Annabeth who is still crying said, "Please guys I want to be alone." She said pleadingly. The girls look at each other and nodded. "If you need someone to talk to we'll be outside." Silena said. Annabeth just nodded her head. When the others leave the room she buried her face in the pillow and cried.
"I'm going to kill him!" Thalia snarled. "Calm down, will you? We still need to talk to Sean about this. He is our friend too." Silena suggested. "Yeah you should listen to Silena instead of jumping into conclusions and making things worse." Travis butted in. Thalia glared at him. "You were there but you didn't do anything." Thalia said accusingly to Travis. "Jeez Thalia they are both my friend. You think I wouldn't do something if Sean will hurt Annabeth?" He replied with anger in his voice. "I don't know. Maybe it's a guy thing." She said mockingly.
"What the hell that supposed to mean?" Travis asked angrily. "Travis." Katie called trying to calm him. "I don't know, maybe, try to protect him. That's what you guys do right? Cover up one another?" Thalia said mockingly. "To hell with you Thalia don't you dare compare us to your ex-boyfriend who is a fucking cheater!" Travis snarled at her. Charles suddenly appears from their room. "What's going on?" He asked confusedly. He saw Thalia and Travis glaring at each other. "Ask him!" She snapped to Charles before walking away. Travis turned away heading to the door, Katie followed him. Charles turned to Silena. "What did I miss?" He asked her. She grabs Charles and head towards the room where he came from.
Chris and Connor who were as clueless as Charles were the ones who are left. They glanced back to where the others go. Connor decided to follow Travis while Chris turns to look where Clarisse and Thalia have gone too. Annabeth who heard all the argument outside their room sat up from the bed. She wiped away her tears. She didn't know what to think. Have she been too impulsive? But then the scene flashed back to her and tears started to flow again.
After an hour or so, Chris, Clarisse and Thalia went back inside the house to prepare some food. Charles and Silena were already in the kitchen preparing something. They offered their help and together they make their dinner. Silence filled the living room where they waited for the others to come back. Suddenly Leo burst out from the door. "Where's Sean?" He asked. Nobody answered him.
"Guys?" Leo asked again. Just in time Connor, Katie and Travis entered the house. "Have you guys seen Sean?" He turned to them. Travis shook his head. "I haven't seen him since the incident." He replied to Leo. "What incident?" Leo asked but he never got the answer. He tried to call Sean's phone but it just keep ringing. He excused himself and went to check the room. He found out that Sean's phone was left in their room. He checked his watch and they still have 1 hour before the party started.
He went back to the living room. "Charles, do you have any idea where your brother is?" Leo asked. Charles shook his head. He noticed how dull the atmosphere is. Something must have happened. "I tried calling him but his phone was left in the room." Charles who looked worried glanced to his watch. He stands up. "You guys can go eat. I'm going to find Sean." He said. "What's going on? Did something happen?" Leo asked. "Long story." Charles said dryly.
"I'm going with you." Silena offered. "No it's okay." Charles replied. "But.." She complained. "I'll go with you." Travis offered. "Me too." Chris and Connor said together. "You girls go eat and we will try to find Sean." Chris said. The guys went back to their room to get something. Katie and Silena went to the kitchen. Thalia and Clarisse went to get Annabeth.
When the guys are all ready Leo decided to go with them. When Thalia, Clarisse and Annabeth (who miraculously come out from their room) are heading to the kitchen, the front door opens. All heads turns to the door. Sean came in who look miserably and ready to pass out and his clothes are wet. Charles rushes towards him. "Where the hell have you been?" He asked worriedly. Sean ignored all of them and went straight to their room. He slammed the door closed.
All of them were shocked. Charles decided to follow his brother inside the room. After a couple of minutes he went back. "What happened?" Travis asked. "He doesn't want to talk. And he's drunk. It's best if we let him sleep. We'll talk to him tomorrow." Charles stated. The others agreed. So they all went to the kitchen to eat.
They are all quiet during the dinner. Leo glances on all of them especially on Annabeth. He noticed that she has been crying. He wanted to ask what happened between the two love birds. They have been so happy this morning and now they are fighting.
Travis cleared his throat to break the silence. The others turned to look at him except Thalia and Annabeth who was not eating just playing with her food. "I'm sorry Thalia." He said. Thalia looks at him and smiled weakly. "I'm supposed to be the one apologizing." She said. "I shouldn't have accused you like that." Travis smiled at her. "So are we good?" He asked her. Thalia nodded and smiled at him widely. Leo, who was still lost about what happened leaned to Connor and asked him. "I'll tell you later." Connor replied.
The next morning Sean woke up early because of headache. He went out of the room to get water. He noticed that he is the first one to wake up. After taking in the medicine he decided to go for a run to think clearly. He hasn't eaten anything since yesterday but he doesn't have an appetite so he ignored the food on the fridge. He went back to the room to get changed. When he was done Leo was already awake. "Going somewhere?" He asked. "Yup. Just going for a run." He replied dryly. "You want me to go with you?" Leo offered. "Nah, I'm good." He replied. Before Leo can say anything Sean plug his earphones and headed towards the door.
Leo can't go back to sleep because something is bugging him. He went outside the room and headed to the kitchen. He fixes himself a coffee and sat at the table. He was so deep in his thoughts that he doesn't notice Travis entering the kitchen. "Hey you okay?" Travis asked making Leo spill his coffee on the table. "Gods Travis! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" He complained. Travis just chuckled. "What are you thinking anyways? You seem so lost in your thought?" He asked. "Nothing." He lied. Travis studied him.
"Come on. You can tell me." He urged him. Leo was hesitant but decided to tell it anyway. Maybe Travis can help him. After finding out from Connor what happened yesterday he was afraid to talk to Sean. "It is about what happened yesterday." He started. "What about it?" Travis asked. "It was my entire fault." Travis was confused. "What are you talking about? Because I'm very sure that you were not there."
Silena was about to enter the kitchen when he heard Leo. She stops and listened to the conversation. "Sean and Annabeth's fight was because of something I did." Leo admitted. Upon hearing this Silena rushes back to their room and drag Thalia and Annabeth to the kitchen. Thalia and Annabeth who just woke up were so confused. "What the hell is this about Silena?" She snarled but SIlena silenced her. "Listen." She whispered to Thalia and Annabeth.
"Wait what do you mean?" Travis asked confusedly. "You were there when it happened?" He asked Travis. Travis nodded. "There were three ladies, right?" He asked again. "Yes. Will you cut the chase and spill it out already." Travis complained. "Okay fine." Leo snorted. "It started when we went to the grocery yesterday. We've met them there. No actually it was just me who met them because Sean went to get the groceries."
"I tried to flirt with them but it ends up they wanted Sean instead. I told them he was already taken but they don't mind at all. They gave me a deal." Leo said. "What deal?" Travis asked. "I can go to their party and hang out with them but Sean should come and that I gave them his number." He explained. "Let me guess, you did obviously." Travis said sarcastically. Leo blushes deep red from the embarrassment of what he did. "I agreed with them but I didn't gave Sean's number instead I gave mine. So it was me who was texting Tris all the time."He said. Travis shook his head upon hearing this.
Thalia was about to interrupt when Annabeth and Silena stop her. "I flirted with her on the text making her believe that it was Sean who was texting her. I may have said naughty things to her so that explains why she did that yesterday to Sean." Leo finished. "Oh you are so busted. You should have thought about what the consequences of your actions." Travis scolded. "You do realize that he was already with Annabeth."
"I know and I'm sorry." He apologized. "Don't apologize to me. Apologize to Sean and Annabeth. You should do something to get them back together." Travis suggested. When Annabeth heard all what she needed to hear she walked back to their room. Thalia and Silena followed her. She buried her face in the pillow. "I'm so stupid!" She cried. Silena hug her. "It was not your fault." She comforted. Thalia sat beside her. "I'm sorry for jumping into conclusions and making things worst. You should not have listened to me." Thalia said.
Annabeth looks at her and smiled weakly. "It's my fault. I should have known better. I should have listened to him. I should have not accused him." She said with tears in her eyes. "You guys need to talk. I bet Sean wants it to. He'll forgive you." Silena stated. Annabeth hug them both.
-Line Break –
Someone knock on the ladies room. Thalia opened the door. "Breakfast is ready." Connor said. The girls went out of their room. Charles who just woke up walked in the kitchen. "Where's Sean?" He asked. "He went for a run." Leo replied. "What time did he wake up?" Charles asked. "I think it was around 6 am." Leo replied. Annabeth who fight the urge to confront Leo quietly look at Charles. Charles saw her and he smiled at her. After eating breakfast they decided to head to the beach. They went to their rooms to change.
Charles looks at the clock. It was already 8 am and there still no sign of Sean. Silena walks towards him and hugs him from his side. He smiled at her. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Just thinking about Sean." He said. "Don't worry about it. Just wait and see and everything will be alright." She said. Charles raised his eyebrow at her. "Do you know something?" He asked her. Silena just smiled at her. She untangled herself from him and grabs his hand. "Come on."
Sean is on his way back to the house. He was exhausted from running. The run help to clear his mind. He wanted to talk to Annabeth and explained what happened even though he doesn't even know why it happened on the first place. He got mad at her from calling him a cheater but it doesn't mean he doesn't love her anymore. He is willing to forget all of it because what matters to him most is her. He just wanted to be with her no questions ask.
The house seemed to be quiet. He found Chris and Clarisse snuggling at the sofa. Chris noticed him. "Where's everybody?" Sean asked. "They went to the beach." He replied. Sean nodded. He went to the room to get changed leaving Chris and Clarisse on the living room. After changing he went to the kitchen to get something to drink. He is still not hungry. He takes a rest a little bit and head towards the beach.
He is just wearing his board shorts and he noticed some girls glancing at him. Some girls even have the guts to say hi to him. He stops and scans the area to look for his friends. He found them near the water. The guys were playing Frisbee and the girls are sitting on the sand watching the guys play.
Silena turned to look at the back and she noticed Sean. She nudged Thalia beside her. Thalia saw Sean and nudged Annabeth. Annabeth looked to where the two girls were gesturing. She saw Sean standing far away from them looking at their direction. She can't help but be proud of her boyfriend. She smiled. "Damn he's hot." Silena commented. Annabeth snaps her head towards Silena. "Excuse me?" She asked. "What? I'm just admiring his body. No big deal." Silena shrugged. "Look at that gorgeous body." Thalia added. "You too?" Annabeth asked disbelievingly. "I can't blame them." Katie added. Annabeth rolled her eyes on her friends. "You know he's mine right? So hands off." She threatened. The girls just laugh at her.
Sean was halfway near his friends when he heard something. He stops and listened. Someone was calling for help. He immediately scanned his area. His friends are at the far away right side of the beach and they can't seem to hear it. He looks to his left and there he finally saw someone calling for help. He turned to look at the water and he saw someone drowning. He immediately runs towards the water wasting no time.
Charles noticed Sean running to the other side. "Where is he going?" He asked. The girls immediately stand up when they saw Sean running towards the other side. "What's happening?" Annabeth asked. Soon they all heard someone calling for help. They rushed to that area. Sean is already in the water reaching for the drowning girl. Sean swims as fast as he could. Good thing he has his training about this. He prayed that he is not too late to save the girl.
The waves are so big taking the girl far away from him. He was near her when the girl sank deep in the water. He takes a deep breath and dive in. After three thrice he finally sees her. He grabs her. The girl was already unconscious. He swims as fast as he could to the shore. When they were near he lifts her and started to run. Charles meets him and he handles him the girl. He started to feel his body weakening. Charles lays the girl on the sand. Her mother appeared beside her. "Lily!" Her mom called. Sean rushes to her side and feel her pulse. He started to give her a CPR. After some tries the girl finally spilled water from her mouth and started to cough. Her mom hugs her.
Sean froze from the scene reminding him of her sister Kelsi. "Sean." Charles called when he saw Sean's reaction. Sean was startled by his brother. "You okay?" He asked. Sean immediately stands up and walks away making through his way against the crowd. Annabeth look at Charles and they have a silent understanding. Annabeth followed Sean. She saw him running back towards the house.
When Annabeth reach the house, she saw Sean in the kitchen. She saw him drinks the water and sat on the table. He buried his face in his hands. She slowly walks to him. She placed her hands on his shoulder. Sean looks up and he saw Annabeth. "Are you okay?" She asked. Sean smiled weakly at her. She sat beside Sean taking his hand in hers. "What you did was amazing." She said. "It was nothing." He replied. "You save a life Sean." She stated. He just smiled at her and looks at her seriously. "I'm sorry." He started but before he can even continue Annabeth kissed him.
He was taken aback from what she did but gave in. He kissed her passionately. After what happened yesterday they poured in all their emotion on the kiss. They pulled back when they can't breathe. Their foreheads are touching. "Please forgive me for being stupid." Annabeth started. Sean looks at her confusedly. "I already know the truth. I should have listened to you instead of accusing you of something awful." She admitted. "What do you mean you know the truth?" He asked. "We heard Leo talking to Travis this morning. It turns out that he is the reason behind it all." She explained it to Sean of what she learned.
"Oh." Sean replied. "So they were the girls who Leo tried to flirt on the store." He summed up. Annabeth nodded. "I'm sorry for calling you a cheater." She apologized. Sean kissed him. "Apology accepted." He grinned. "Just promise me one thing." He said. "What?"
"That we should listen to each other first before jumping to any conclusions." He said. Annabeth smiled. "Sounds good to me." She said and kissed Sean once more. "So what did you do to Leo?" He asked knowing that Annabeth won't let this pass. She smirked. "I have plans for him." She said dangerously. "I hope that doesn't involve killing?" He asked jokingly. Annabeth smack his head. "I'm kidding." He chuckled. "You'll see." She said smiling evilly.
Sean kissed Annabeth once more before they know it Annabeth is on Sean's lap. They were kissing passionately. Sean pulled back and buried his face on her neck. "I miss you." He said. Annabeth smiled. "I miss you too." She replied resting her head on his.
