Chapter 32

All of them were sitting in the living room watching some movie after they had eaten their lunch. Annabeth and Sean were sitting next to each other on the couch same goes with the other couple. The others were just randomly seated on the couch.

Annabeth is busy reading a book. Sean tried to distract her but she just glared at him. Sean pouted but she just ignored him. Since he can't distract his girlfriend, Sean decided to play with her hair. He twirled one of her curls when suddenly Annabeth's phone buzzes. She immediately picks it up. She smiled widely when she reads the text. Sean tried to peak but she just shoved him. Sean crossed his arms over his chest feeling a bit annoyed.

When suddenly Annabeth stands up and goes to Leo's side. Sean's gaze followed her girlfriend. His jaw drops when Annabeth drags Leo and head towards the door. A confused Leo turned to look at them before they finally went outside. "Where are they going?" Silena asked. "No idea." Sean replied.

"Oh oh." Connor teased. Sean shot daggers at him. He just smirked. He shot up from his seat and pace back and forth. After some time he'll stop and gaze at the door. "Will you please stop?" Clarisse grumbled. The others turned to look at Sean. He stops and thinks for a moment before deciding to follow Annabeth and Leo.

He walks towards the door but then it burst open and came in a grinning Annabeth. She stops when she noticed a seriously looking Sean. "Where did the two of you go?" He asked a little bit annoyed. Annabeth scrunched her eyebrows at him. Before she can answer two people walk inside the house, it was Leo and Reyna.

Reyna is a good friend of Annabeth and Thalia. She's an architect just like Annabeth. They are both working for Thalia's dad. Annabeth and Sean know that Leo has a huge crush on Reyna. Leo met Reyna during one of their friend's party. Leo admitted it to Sean that he likes Reyna and Sean accidentally spilled it to his girlfriend. And now Annabeth decided to use it against Leo for messing up.

"Reyna!" Thalia squealed and runs towards her. They both hug giddily. Sean turned to look at his girlfriend. He raised his eyebrow at her. Annabeth smiled sweetly at him. She mouthed payback time to Sean. He shook his head and turned to look at Leo who is currently standing awkwardly at the door carrying Reyna's bag. Sean walks towards him.

"You okay man?" He asked. Leo shook his head in frustration. The others didn't know that whenever Leo sees Reyna, he acts so nervous, afraid that he'll mess up. Thalia spoke up. "Good to see you here." Reyna smiled. "Annabeth invited me. She said Leo's okay with it." She said as she turned to smile at Leo. Leo blushed deeply red. Annabeth smirked.

The others greeted her. Everyone knows Reyna. "Come on I'll show you our room." Thalia invited. Reyna went to get his bag to Leo. He handed it to her. Reyna said her thanks to him and walks back to Thalia. "Thanks again." Annabeth said to Leo while smirking. She turned to follow Reyna and Thalia on the room.

"I'll be right outside." Leo said as he hurriedly went to the door. The boys turned to look at Sean as if asking what's with Leo. Sean just shrugged but he decided to follow Leo outside. He found Leo absentmindedly twirling a piece of metal on his hands, a habit that he do when he's anxious and nervous.

"What's up?" Sean asked as he stood a few feet away from Leo. Leo turned to look at Sean. "She's… She's here." He said stuttering. Sean smiled. He went to sit beside Leo. "So are you going to do something about it?" Sean asked.

"What?" He asked nervously. Sean laughs at him. "I said aren't you going to do something now that she's here." Leo shook his head. "Why not?" Sean asked. "She's right here. You need to man up and ask her to go out with you."

"Wow! That was a bit shocking." Leo and Sean snapped to where the voice came from. Leo's eyes were wide open when he realized that the rest of the guys were behind them and just heard their conversation. "Well, well well I can't believe little Leo likes Reyna." Connor teased. The others snickered.

"Oh gods, this is embarrassing." Leo exclaimed. "Why are you embarrassed?" Chris asked. "Reyna is a beautiful girl." Leo buried his face in his hands. You can see from his side that he was blushing. "Come on man, grow some balls." Connor teased. Travis smacked the back of Connor's head. "Not everyone is like you." Travis mocked. Connor rubs the back of his head. "That hurts you know."

"I am just afraid I'll mess it up." Leo confided. "I quite find it funny. You seem to act all so confident and cocky with other girls." Charles commented. "But not with Reyna." Leo replied immediately. "And why is that?" Chris asked. "Because he likes her a lot, duh." Connor replied sarcastically. "Well thanks very much for humiliating me more." Leo snarled at Connor.

"Cut it out Connor. You're not making it easy for Leo." Sean scolded. Connor just scoffed. "Listen, if you really like her, maybe it's the best time to ask her. It will be perfect, since you know we are at the beach. It will be romantic." Charles suggested. "Oh gods, don't tell me Silena is rubbing off on you?" Connor said exasperated. Charles just glared at him. "Shut up!"

"Whatever. Anyways if I were you Leo, I'll just ask her out. If she turns you down then move on but if she say yes then good for you. It will be best if you at least tried." Connor stated. The others turned to look at him amusedly. "What?!" He snarled. "Wow, I just can't believe you made sense for the first time." Sean said teasingly.

"What are you guys talking about?" Silena asked. All of the girls joined them outside. "No..nothing!" Leo replied immediately. He glanced to where Reyna is. She caught him looking at her but she just smiled at him. He looks away quickly. Annabeth looks at her boyfriend but he just shrugged. She raised her eyebrow at him but he just smiled.

"So what are we going to do for the rest of the day?" Charles asked breaking the silence. "Swimming." Sean exclaimed as he moves towards Annabeth and wraps his arms from behind her. "Seaweed Brain." Annabeth mumbled but a smile crept to her face. "Maybe later, who would like to play some beach volleyball?" Clarisse asked. There were me's and I am in from the rest of the guys. "I'll pass." Sean replied. Annabeth turned to look at him. "What's on your mind?" She asked. "Don't you want to play with them?" He asked her. "Nah, I'll pass. I'd rather spend it with my boyfriend." She said and smirked.

Sean smiled at her and kissed her on the cheek. "Come on then." Clarisse said to the others. Leo was still sitting when Reyna called to him. "Aren't you coming?" She asked Leo. "I..Umm sure." He said and sat up and walks beside Reyna. He almost hit the floor when he trip, luckily Reyna caught him making him blush more.

Sean and Annabeth watched as Leo make a fool of himself. "See it is working." She stated. "You're mean, you know that." Sean said playfully. "Oh come on. Don't you think they are cute?" She asked smirking. "You almost gave Leo a heart attack." He said smiling. "He deserves that." She said seriously. Sean hugs her. "It's not actually a punishment. Who knows he might ask her out by the end of the day."

"Really?" Annabeth asked. "Is that what you guys are talking about?" Sean laughs. "What?" She asked confusedly. "Nothing. You're just really a Wise Girl." He said teasingly. "So that means I am right then." She said triumphantly. Instead of answering her, Sean grabs her hands and they started to walk towards the beach.

They walk silently hand in hand. They didn't talk for a while just enjoying the calmness of the sea. Suddenly Sean stops. Annabeth looked at him. "Is there something wrong?" She asked when she noticed that Sean looks so serious. He turned to look at her. "Nothing is wrong. Everything is perfect." He said as he pulled her into a hug.

Annabeth wraps her hands on his body. She rests her head on his chest. "Annabeth." He called. "Hmm?" She replied as he snuggled closer to him. He pulled away and holds her hand. She smiled at him. "I just want to say something." He said. "Go on." She urged him.

He hesitated for a while. She smiled at him urging him to tell her what it is on his mind. He let go of one of her hands and reach for his pocket. "I want you to have this." He said. He handed her a blue box. "What is it?" She asked excitedly. "Open it." He said smiling. Annabeth opens the box and she gasps as she saw what was in it. It was an amber crystal necklace. "Do you like it?" He asked. She looked up to smile at him.

"This is beautiful." She exclaimed. "Here let me put this on you." Sean offered. She turned around and Sean put the necklace on her. She holds it admiring. "It suits you." He commented. "It's beautiful just like you." Annabeth blushed from Sean's praises. She playfully shoved him. "Thank you." She said.

"Every time you look at it or wear it, I just want you to remember one thing." Sean stated. "And that is?" She asked. He looked into her eyes. "That I Love You." He confessed. She was left speechless. She stared right back at him and tears are threatening to fall from her eyes. Sean was worried. "Hey are you okay? I'm sorry if I said something stupid. Oh my gods, I didn't mean to make you sad. Shit!.. I… " He stammered. "I knew it, I shouldn't have told you. It was too early.. Oh gods.."

Annabeth suddenly kissed him and it caught him off guard. When she pulled away, she's smiling with streak of tears in her eyes. "You talk too much. You didn't give me time to talk." She stated. She cupped his face and look into his gorgeous eyes. "Thank You for telling me that you love me. And I want you to know that I love you too."

It took some time to register in his mind what just Annabeth said to him. "You love me too?" He asked dumbly. "Yes you idiot!" She replied teasingly. Sean hugs her and picks her up. Annabeth giggled as he spun her around. He puts her down and kissed her passionately. She kissed him back pulling him closer to her. They pulled apart and rest their forehead on each other.

"I love you Wise Girl." Sean stated. Annabeth smiled. "I love you too Seaweed Brain."

They stayed for a while on the beach just enjoying each other's company. Sean wished that nothing's going to change between them. He loves her so much that it frightened him when the time comes that she will learn the truth about him. He pushes aside his thoughts for a while but back in his mind he knows that he should tell her the truth about him soon. He doesn't want to end it just like what happened between him and Calypso.

Annabeth lean her head on his shoulder. He pulled her closer to him. Right now what matters to him is that he loves her and she loves him.
