Chapter 35
A little late in the afternoon the rest of the girls arrived at Thalia's house. "So what's up with this all girls night out plan?" Clarisse asked. "You should asked Reyna and Silena. This is their plan." Thalia answered. "And by the way Reyna, welcome to the group, I am guessing we will be seeing a lot of you these days." She teased.
Reyna blushed deep red. Annabeth smirked at her. "So I'm guessing the date went well?" "Oh yes, you two went on a date. How was it?" Katie asked giddily. "It was fun." She said timidly.
"Oh come on. You can come up with better than that." Clarisse teased. "So how did Leo do?" Thalia asked. "Well he was a real gentleman." Reyna started. "What?!" All the rest shrieked.
"Leo, a gentleman? That is hard to believe." Clarisse exclaimed. "And why is that hard to believe?" Reyna asked them. "Because it's Leo!" Katie answered. "Good gods, you should have seen him with all the girls he flirted with."
"She flirted with girls?" Reyna asked disbelievingly. "All of the time, just like Connor." Katie answered. "Hey guys stop making Leo look bad." Annabeth scolded. "Oh come on Annie, you know Leo better than us. Admit it that he is a flirt." Thalia stated.
"Fine, but that is until he met Reyna." Annabeth pointed out. "What do you mean?" Reyna asked. "He was a pain in the ass before he met you. He was always hitting on girls and dragging Sean with him."
"Wait, I don't believe you. He still flirted with girls after he met Reyna. Remember what happened last time. You got in a fight with Sean." Clarisse pointed out. "Oh my gods, I can't believe it." Reyna muttered.
"Wait, before you judged Leo hear me out first. Yes he did, but that was before you two started going out. Leo likes you a lot Reyna. Believe me when I say that." Annabeth stated. Reyna blushed deep red. "And it looks like you like him too." Thalia teased.
"How can you be so sure that he likes me a lot?" Reyna asked Annabeth. "Because Sean told me." She answered. "Hmm not really anyways, he just kind of spilled it without wanting to."
"That's why I invited you to come with us because I know how much he likes you and it was so much fun watching him make a fool of himself in front of you. " Annabeth chuckled. "So that was your revenge against him huh?" Silena asked.
Annabeth nodded. "He's so nervous when it comes to Reyna so I thought it will be a good idea. And by the looks of it, I can say that from good it becomes better." She concluded.
"Well we can't argue with that." Silena stated. "So how about you? Are you okay?" She asked Annabeth. "Wow thank you so much Silena for bringing the attention to me."
"Come on Annie, we know what happened last night." Clarisse said. "Stop calling me Annie!" Annabeth grumbled. "Did you tell them?" She asked Thalia. Thalia shook her head. "I don't know anything about it. I didn't tell them."
"I did." Silena admitted. "Wow thanks a lot." Annabeth muttered. "You know we are here for you. What do you think this is all about? We came here to cheer you up."
"Yeah, and to make sure you don't do something impulsive." Clarisse added. "What do you mean?" Annabeth asked. "Oh I don't know. Maybe decide to break up with him?"
"I won't do that." Annabeth quickly replied. The girls smiled at her. "That's good to know." Silena said. "So just for today, forget about your problems and just hang out with us."
"So what do you have in mind?" Annabeth asked. "We'll go out tonight just the six of us. We're going to have some fun." Silena stated.
"Okay. I can deal with that." Annabeth answered. Although at the back of her mind she wanted to call Sean and talk to him. She misses him already.
Skip the time: At the bar –
Leo, Charles and Sean arrived at the bar a little early so Sean can prepare. "Do you think this is a good idea?" Sean asked Charles. "What if someone recognized me?" He whispered to him. Charles scanned the surroundings. "I can't assure you that but it will just take minutes. I guess you'll be fine."
"You ready? This is going to be epic!" Leo exclaimed as he patted Sean's back. "A little nervous but I think I will be fine." "Oh and by the way I called the rest of the guys." Leo informed him.
"You did what?" Sean exclaimed. "Leo!" Charles scolded. "Come on you two. We can't just let the girls have all the fun now, do we?" Leo stated.
"I'm going to kill you."Sean grumbled. "Chill you guys." Leo countered. As if on cue the rest of the guys arrived at the bar, Chris, Travis and Connor.
"Good gods Sean, you are really going to do this?" Connor asked disbelievingly. "Hey good luck man." Travis and Chris said at the same time. "You got the flowers Travis?" Leo asked.
"Yeah." Travis replied. "So you guys just take your sit right there." Leo pointed at the table right at the center near the stage. "Just wait for the girls to arrive and act as if you don't know that they are coming. We'll just stay here and help Sean. We'll join you later." "Okay." The 3 said and went to the said table.
People started to arrive at the bar and half an hour later the girls arrived. Katie was the first one to notice the boys. "Hey isn't that Travis, Connor and Chris?" Katie asked the others. They turned to look at where Katie is pointing. Silena and Reyna looked at each other. They didn't know that the rest of the guys are coming.
"I thought you said that it will be just us?" Annabeth asked. "Yeah I did. I didn't know that they'll be here." Silena answered. Well half of it was true. They didn't know that the rest will be there. Annabeth studied her. She wasn't convinced that Silena is telling the truth but she let it pass.
"Should we join them?" Clarisse asked as she looks at the guys who are still unaware that they were already there. They turned to look at Annabeth. "Fine, let's join them." She answered.
"Hey!" Clarisse greeted and kissed Chris on his cheeks. The guys were startled. "Hey! You're here." Connor replied. Travis kicked him on his shin. He glared at his brother. Travis mouthed play it cool you dumbass.
"Can we join you?" Thalia asked. "Sure." Chris replied. The girls took their seats. Reyna leaned to Silena. "Do you have any idea what Sean will be doing?" She whispered to Silena. Silena shook her head. "Hmm that will be interesting." Reyna stated.
At the backstage, Leo peek outside and he saw that the girls have already arrived. "Hey they're here." He informed the two. "You ready?" He asked Sean. Sean looked a little pale. "I don't know. I haven't done this in a long time."
Charles chuckled. "You'll do great. It is what you do best. Just don't over think. It will just be a bunch of people." He comforted him. "Bunch of people, huh." Sean said sarcastically. "Oh come on, you sing in front of thousands of people and now you're afraid."
"That's different, you know. At least I am sure that they came to the concert just to hear me sing. This is different." He pointed out to Charles. Charles just chuckled. "You'll do great. Remember you're doing this for the love of your life." He teased. Sean just rolled his eyes.
"Hey what are you two whispering about?" Leo asked as he came back. "Nothing." The two brothers said in unison. Leo raised an eyebrow at them. "Anyways, are you ready? Carl said you can start whenever you are ready. (A/N Carl is a friend of Leo who is working at the bar).
"This is it bro. You can do it. See you outside." Charles said and hugs Sean. Leo hugs him too. "Break a leg!" He smiled widely and gave thumbs up sign.
Sean was left alone at the backstage. Carl came in. "You ready man?" He asked Sean. Sean nervously nodded. Carl smiled at him. "All right, Good Luck."
Carl went to the stage. The music stops playing and the light on the stage turned on. "Good evening everyone." He started. "You see tonight we have a special performance from a friend of mine." There were whistles from the audience.
The other members of the band who willingly lend a hand to Sean for his performance started to come up to the stage. They said their good luck to Sean before heading to their respective place. The lights were turned off again as Sean went to the stage. He grabs one of the guitars on stage and went to the center of the stage.
"Is that Sean?" Katie asked as her eyes darted on the stage. The others turned to look. The girls were shocked. "Is he going to do what I was thinking?" Thalia asked. Annabeth was stunned. "What was he doing?"
Clarisse noticed that the guys were smirking. She punched Chris in the arm. "Ouch!" Chris muttered. "Do you know about this?" She asked. "Uh.. yeah?" He replied uneasily. "Can he even sing?" She asked.
They turned to look at Annabeth. She just shook her head, unable to form a word. What her boyfriend is about to do was still slowly sinking in her mind. That's when Charles and Leo joined them. "What's going on?" Silena asked Charles.
"Just wait and see Beauty Queen." Leo answered and earned a glare from Silena. "Can he sing?" Katie asked Charles. He just smiled at her. "This is going to be epic!" Leo exclaimed. He brought his video camera out and handed to Connor who is grinning as an idiot.
"What do you think you're doing?" Annabeth hissed. "Uh..umm I don't know, maybe filming your boyfriend who is about to humiliate himself to everyone just to make you, you know forgive him." Connor mocked. Charles hit him at the back of his head. "Watch your words Connor, that's my brother you are talking about." "Sorry." Connor apologized but still grinning.
The lights were turned back on revealing the band and Sean. There were ladies who can't help but gasped. Sean is wearing a plain white shirt which lightly hugs his body, faded blue jeans and black converse shoes. Even in a simple get up, Sean is still one hot man.
Sean cleared his throat. "Hi everybody." There were hi's and hello's from the audience especially from the girls. "This song is dedicated to my beautiful girlfriend. Hope you like it." He said looking to Annabeth. Annabeth blushed deep red.
Connor started filming. "Let the show begins." Leo said excitingly.

Sean started to strum the guitar followed by the rest of the band

Sean's friends were surprised that he can really sing. Silena turned towards Charles. "Why didn't you tell us?" He just shrugged and smiled. "Damn, I thought he can't sing." Leo muttered. Charles just chuckled.

Annabeth was just staring at Sean. It melted her heart that Sean's doing it for her. She was so proud of her boyfriend who can actually sing and play a guitar. He can even pass as a professional singer. She noticed how the other girls from the crowd are ogling at his boyfriend.

Sean stops playing the guitar as he grabs the microphone and starts to walk towards Annabeth and his friends.

As he finished the song he was right in front of a stunned Annabeth. His friends were so amazed except for Charles who knew about him. Charles nudged Leo to hand the bouquet of flowers to Sean. He scrambled from his seat and gave Sean the flowers.
"I'm sorry baby." Sean said as he hands the flowers to Annabeth. Annabeth burst into tears and hugs Sean tightly. He hugs her back. The crowd went wild. There were wolf whistles and you can see the disappointed look of the girls from the crowd.
They pulled apart. Sean rested his forehead on hers. "I'm so sorry Wise Girl." She put her finger in his mouth. "I'm sorry too." She said and she closed the gap between them. They kissed for a while until they heard complains from their friends.
"All right lovebirds that's enough!" Thalia complained. The couple pulled apart. Sean put his arms around Annabeth's waist. They joined them on the table. Annabeth took her seat. Sean realized that he was still holding the mic and the guitar. He excused himself and went back to the stage. He kissed Annabeth on the cheek before he goes.
"Oh my God!" Silena squealed. "That was…" Katie trailed off. "Amazing." Clarisse added. "I didn't know he was that good." "Hell yeah, why didn't you tell us?" Leo asked to Charles with wide eyes.
Charles scratched the back of his neck. "You never asked." He defended. "I thought he was going to humiliate himself but it turns out we should be the one to feel ashamed from doubting him." Connor stated.
"Annabeth." Clarisse called when she noticed that she was not talking. "W..What?" She asked. "Something you want to say? Damn you're a one lucky girl." Clarisse exclaimed. "Hey!" Chris reacted. "Calm your nerves. You know you're the one I love." She stated.
Sean went back to them. He seats beside Annabeth who snuggled to him closely, fully aware that there were girls who eyed his boyfriend. He smiled at her and kissed her forehead.
"So Sean care to tell us why didn't you tell us that you have an amazing voice?" Reyna asked. He blushed. "I don't think it was necessary." Annabeth punches him in the arm. "Of course it matters especially to me. I think I deserve to know, right?" He smiled at her. "Now you know."
"I wish someone can sing for me to." Katie whispered but they heard her. She blushes deep red. The others turn to look at Travis who gulped. Leo smirked at him patting his back. He glared at him.
"Okay enough with the drama. Let's party." Leo exclaimed. The music was turned back on. It was playing a love song. "Care to dance, milady?" Leo asked to Reyna. She smiled at him and nodded. The group teased them but Leo just grinned at them widely. They made way to the dance floor.
"Wise Girl?" Sean asked as he stands and bows in front of her. Annabeth giggled. She took Sean's hand and they went to join Leo and Reyna. Leo and Sean fist pump.
"Look at them. They look good together." Sean gestured to Leo and Reyna. Annabeth turned to look at them. "Yeah they do." "You did a great job." He smiled at her. Annabeth just rolled her eyes.
She snuggled close to Sean and lays her head on his chest. They hold each other while swaying to the music. "I love you." Sean whispered to her. She smiled. "I love you too."
They both enjoyed the rest of the night. Leaving behind what happened to them the other night. Sean promised himself that he'll never let his past ruin his present.
Somewhere in Athens –
A/N: I'll introduce some characters before I continue this chapter.
Ashley: Lily's friend (Remember Lily, the girl saved by Sean)
Lana: Ashley's mother
"Honey." Lana called. "In here, Mom." Ashley answered. Lana turned to the living room. She saw her daughter in front of the laptop. A picture was flashed on the screen.
"Hey Mom." Ahley greeted and kissed her Mom's cheek. She noticed her looking at the picture. "Oh right. That's the picture we took last night. That's the man who saved Lily." She said as she pointed Sean.
Lana scrunched her eyebrows. He looked so familiar. "What was his name?" She asked. "Sean Angelo." Ashley answered. Then suddenly the door bell rings. "Can you get that honey, it was probably the pizza." Ashley nodded.
Lana sits in front of the laptop. She tried to remember why does he look so familiar then it hits her. She reaches for her cell phone and called someone. After 5 rings someone answered her call.
"It is better be important." The receiver of the call grumbled. "It is. Turn your laptop on I'm sending you something." Lana demanded. "What?" The receiver of the call asked. "Just do what I say. Hurry up."
After Lana sent the picture, she waited. "Oh my God!" The receiver reacted. "You better not be joking. Is this true?"
"Do you think I'm joking? Look at it closely. Is it him?" Lana asked. "I am not so sure but I have a feeling this is him. Oh good gods." The receiver muttered. "Where is he?"
"In Patras, here in Greece." Lana answered. "What the hell is he doing there?" The receiver asked."I need to go Ashley is coming back. Keep me posted." She said and cut the call. She immediately closed her email.
"Mom." Ashley called. She jumped a little. "You okay?" Ashley asked. "Yeah I'm fine."
"Want to eat now before the pizza get cold." Ashley suggested. Lana nodded. "So what do you think of the guy who saved Lily?"
"Who?" Lana asked. Ashley rolled her eyes on her mother. "Sean." She simply stated. "He's hot right?" Ashley grinned. Lana chuckled. "Yes he does. Come on let's go eat."
Seconds later she a received a text, "Don't tell anyone even to Ashley. Wait for my call."
