I know I've been a jerk fro not updating sooner but I suffered a writer's block. Thankfully I came up with this chapter. It's not much but I hope you guys will like it.

Chapter 47

3 Months Later, New York

With lots of thoughts whether to go back or not, after a week, Percy decided to go back to his career. Just like the reaction he got during the encounter in the mall, Percy's career rocketed once it was announced that he will do a comeback in his career. His fans remained loyal to him so it's not surprising that his popularity went back just like that.

He was back to New York after doing numerous shows and interviews all around the country. He just finished recording his latest album. He was exhausted but happy at the same time. He rarely sees his family nowadays but sometimes his mom and sister will visit him when they both have time. He's glad that after being so busy from the past couple months he was back in their home and granted a week of vacation. He honestly needed some break after all.

The only thing that he despises about his work is the paparazzi. Yeah he knows that it comes with his job but it doesn't mean that he is fond of it. Well basically they help with his career with all the publicity that he gets but sometimes it gets out of hand. There are times that he wondered if he really did the right choice in going back. Like last time, he nearly punches a guy who keeps stalking him and asking questions about Calypso. For Hades sake, he and Calypso are so over and the whole world knows that she is dating Jason. Why can't they just drop it?

He remembered the first time they have met after they broke up. He was in LA doing some recording when they bump to each other. She just came back from her tour. He knows that it was inevitable that they will see each other since they were under the same record label but they were definitely not expecting that they will see each other that day. It was very awkward.

He was rushing down the hall to Nico's office because he was already late. He was supposed to meet Kelsi there because she was in town to visit him. He was already half an hour late so he was running when it happened. He was turning right from the hallway to Nico's office when he accidentally bumps in to someone. The collision both sent them tumbling down on their butt.

He quickly stands up and tries to apologize when he froze in his feet.

"Watch it!" She snarled.

She was helped by her bodyguard. When she turned to look up who's the idiot who bumps into her and when she did she also froze. Neither of them said anything. They were just staring at each other. Never did he imagine that their first encounter after what happened to them will turn out to be just like that. It was very awkward.

It was Calypso who recovered first. "Percy." She called softly as if not really sure if it was him. She was too shocked. She was not prepared for this. Of course she knows that he was back and she's been dreading the day that they will meet. Even Jason keeps bugging her about him. She just didn't expect it to happen sooner, not just like this. He still looks pretty much the same but hotter with his tanned complexion. He even looks more mature. Gorgeous will simply describe him.

Percy was saved when Kelsi walked out from the office followed by Nico. When Kelsi saw what was happening she immediately went to his brother's side and tug on his arms.

"Time to go." She said pointedly without looking at Calypso. Their encounter last time was not pretty and Kelsi was far from forgiving her from what she had done to Percy.

This snaps Percy back to reality. "Hey." He recovered looking at Calypso. She's still beautiful just like the last time.

Kelsi tugs on his arm. He looked over to his shoulder and he saw that Kelsi was not happy with the situation and he can't blame her. With a coy smile and nod to Calypso, he turned his back allowing his sister to guide him away from her. Before turning to the hallway Kelsi take a glance to Calypso and she gave her best I-hate-you glare to her. Nico followed suit to his two cousins. When he passes by Calypso he smiled at her. From all this time Nico remained professional and never confront her from what she did to Percy. He acts casually around her during their meeting. Only few know what really happens between them. What he hates most was that Calypso gained majority of sympathy back then.

Percy never saw Calypso again after that encounter. He's been busy from his commitments and so does she. For him it was for the best. Although what happened to them was in all in the past but it will still be awkward because it didn't end well and they never got a chance to talk and settle things between them. On the other hand there's one person he wish he will never bump into, Jason. As much as he hates to admit it, he really doesn't like him from the very beginning. He's been hearing a lot of things regarding him talking against him. Not that it bothers him but he just doesn't really like him period.

Percy sits in front of his laptop while browsing his phone when Leo called him on skype. For the past months, Percy and the other gang were already in good terms again except for Thalia, Silena and of course Annabeth. From time to time they talked over the phone or on skype whenever he has time. He's so glad they finally understood him but he is still wishing that someday the rest of them will eventually forgive him.

"Hey!" Percy greeted. "How are you man?"

"I'm good. So you're back in New York now?" Leo asked.

"Yup. Glad to be home again. Where are you?"

"I'm in the shop, got nothing better to do so I called you." Leo said grinning.

"Wow I feel the love man. Thank you very much." Percy replied sarcastically.

"You know it." Leo said while chuckling. "So how was your tour? I hope I didn't disturb your rest."

"No it's fine. Besides it's already 9am. I have no plans anyways."

"Then why are you up early? It's not like you." Leo teased.

"Oh shut up. I got used to waking up early you know with all the commitments."

"Yeah I get it I'm just teasing you. So how was working with your new album? Is it finished?"

"Yup. We've finished it last week and hopefully it will be out next month in time for my next concert." Percy explained.

There's a knock on his door and Kelsi poke her head inside his room. "Perce you got a minute? Allie is downstairs. She said she needs to discuss some things."

"Oh okay. I'll be there in a minute." Percy replied.

"Is that Leo?" Kelsi asked. She finally entered his room and sat beside her brother. "Hey Leo."

Kelsi already met Leo, Charles and Reyna through skype while the others are yet to be introduced.

"So I'm going downstairs. Feel free to talk. I'm not sure how long it will take so I'll guess I'll talk to you later." Percy said to Leo.

"Okay, no problem." Leo answered. "I guess I'll settle with little princess here."

Kelsi pouted. "How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?!"

Percy and Leo laugh. "Later." Percy said and went out of his room.

"So what's up? Any new pranks?" Kelsi asked Leo. Surprisingly the two became close in an instant when they were first introduced. Leo felt like she was the sister that he never had. They argue around playfully but they both have similar personalities. And one thing that they love the most is pranks.

Percy never knows about any of it since Kelsi plans on playing pranks on her own brother. Kelsi's friends and classmates were her victims and lately some of her teachers. She never got caught though because Leo taught her well.

"Why? I gave you tons of ideas last time. Don't tell me you already use all of it?" Leo asked amusedly.

"Not all of it. I just want fresh ideas since this time I want to do it on Percy." She smiled evilly.

"Oh you little devil. Your brother will going to kill you." He chuckled.

"What? I will not pass the opportunity while he's here. And besides I got tired of doing it in school. Nico and Percy will be my next target."

"Just for the record I have nothing to do with any of it." Leo said pointedly.

"Oh someone is scared." She teased.

"The last time I played prank on him I thought he's going to kill me." He shuddered.

"Oh I'm sure my brother will not kill me." She said confidently.

Leo just shook his head smiling. It amuses him how the two siblings are so much different from each other.

Kelsi saw Percy's phone light up indicating there's a new text message. She was about to ignore it when something caught her eyes. She picks up the phone and opens it. It wasn't even lock. Both of them have the same agreement never to touch each other's personal things unless it was an emergency. Kelsi put that aside and her curiosity overtakes.

She saw his brother's wallpaper and indeed what she saw surprises her.

Leo saw her.

"Is that Percy's phone? Oh you should put it down if I were you." He advised.

Kelsi ignored him and went to further investigate in her brother's phone. Soon she was browsing the pictures in his phone. There were lots of pictures of the girl. There were also pictures of him and the girl. What surprise her most were pictures of him and her kissing.

"Okay now tell me who is she?" Kelsi demanded while showing the picture of the girl in the wallpaper.

Leo scrunched his eyebrows. It was Annabeth in the picture and how come she doesn't recognize her.

"It's Annabeth. Don't tell me you don't recognize her."

"Annabeth?" She asked confusedly.

"Yes." Leo exclaimed. "Percy's ex-girlfriend here in Greece."

Confusion was written all over Kelsi's face. "Ex-girlfriend? I didn't know he had one. He never told me."

"Are you sure?" Leo asked confusedly.

"Yes I'm definitely sure. He never mentions that he had a girlfriend back there. Why would he hide it?"

"Hide what?" Percy butted in while entering his room. He saw her holding his phone. He immediately grabs it.

"What are you doing with my phone?" He questioned her.

Kelsi crossed her arms over her chest and raised her eyebrow at him. "Who's Annabeth? Why didn't you tell us about her?" She demanded. Percy tensed by just the mere fact of hearing her name.

Leo seeing the tension in the room, "Uh guys I got some customers to attend to. Talk to you guys later." He immediately ended the call.

Percy mentally cursed Leo for being tactless. But deep inside he knows that it was his fault for not letting them know the whole truth about what happened to him.

"Well?" Kelsi said impatiently.

Seeing that he has no choice but to tell her the truth about her, he gestured Kelsi to sit down on the couch. She reluctantly sits and soon Percy followed her.

Percy absentmindedly looks at his phone and he once saw her beautiful face again. Letting out a deep sigh, he turned to his sister. "What do you want to know about her?"

"I want to know all about her and why did the two of you broke up? I want to know why because seeing that you still have her pictures in your phone."

Percy mentally cursed her sister for being so damn intelligent sometimes. So with no choice he hesitantly told how their story started with some omitted details regarding him lying to her.

"If you both love each other why break up when you need to go back home?" Kelsi asked confusedly.

Before Percy can even answer, Kelsi figured it out. "Oh my God, you didn't tell her!" It wasn't a question.

Percy bowed his head confirming her sister's conclusion. "That's my biggest regret."

Kelsi felt bad for his brother. All the while she was afraid that her brother is still in love with that bitch but she was so wrong. He's deeply in love with someone else.

"I tried to explain to her why I did it but she was too hurt to forgive me. I ruined everything in our relationship. Gods you don't know how I miss her so much. I'm so in love with her and it hurts so much." Percy can't help but silently cry.

Kelsi hugged her brother while caressing his back. She never had seen him like this before not with Calypso nor with his girlfriends back then in London.

"I'm sorry, I should have told you. I beg Nico to keep it from you guys because I don't want you to worry about me anymore."

"Idiot!" She mumbled while brushing off her own cheeks. She can't help but cry too.

He continued his story until their last meeting. "I followed her advice that's why I came back here to settle everything right."

"And she was right." Kelsi supplied. "I don't blame her for reacting like that though."

Percy smiled to her sadly. "I know."

"But look on the bright side, maybe someday there's a chance for you two. She never did tell you to never see her again, right? Maybe she just needs you to fix things up."

"Maybe, I don't really know."

"Have you tried reaching her?"

"I did. A million times I think but it never got through. "

"How about Leo, maybe he knows something? Charles?" She suggested.

Percy shook his head. "The last time Leo saw her was when he gave her my letter. And they heard that she and Thalia went back to Athens the following day I left Greece. They left Reyna in charge of the other projects in Patras. Reyna learned that she filed an indefinite leave once she was back in Athens and nobody heard from any of them before."

"How about SIlena? Isn't that Charles ex-girlfriend and Thalia's cousin? Maybe she knows something." Wow his sister has a sharp mind.

"We haven't heard from her too. Our last news about her is that she went here in New York for her career."

"Oh, New York is a big place." She blurted out.

"Exactly."

"Oh well I still believe that you two will end up with each other. I think you two look good together." She stated.

Percy can't help but chuckled. "Glad to hear that you like her."

"She's beautiful, smart and nice. What's not to like?" She asked playfully.

"You haven't met her. How are you so sure that all the things that I described her were true?" Percy asked her amusedly.

"Well because I believe in your judgments. You have a knack on finding good people just like Eric."

"That I can agree." He smiled.

"Hey just hold on. If I can be of help for anything just let me know." She offered.

"Since when did you become so good about this stuff? You're just a teenager. You shouldn't be dwelling on things like this."

Kelsi snorted. "Glad you have so much faith in me brother. I'm not a kid anymore. And give me some credit I'm smarter than what you think."

"I didn't say you're not smart. I'm just saying.."

She cut him off. "Whatever. Now come on I don't want you sulking in your room all day. Let's go drive around in your car or better yet teach me how to drive." She said smiling mischievously.

"Oh don't even think about touching my car." He threatened.

"Fine then." She huffed. "Just treat me some breakfast at Starbucks. I'm craving for a caramel macchiato."

Percy laughs. "Okay go get dress. Wear something comfortable enough in case we have some running to do, again."

"Oh right. Grrr sometimes I hate your work."

"Let's disguise then if that helps." He suggested.

"Like that will help. Remember last time that didn't work. You end up spilling your coffee and mine and it wasn't nice."

"Ha ha I remember. Then we will just have to take it out and eat here and maybe I will teach you how to drive." He suggested.

Kelsi perked up by that. "Really?"

"Yup but not in my car. It's still off limits." He teased.

"I hate you." Kelsi muttered while heading for the door.

"I love you too kiddo."

Kelsi glared at him but before she disappeared from the door, "Hey Perce."

"Yeah?"

"Just don't give up yet." She smiled and finally out of his room.

Percy left there standing looking at the door. Maybe Kelsi's right. He just has to hold on.
