Guys I am so sorry for not updating recently. I've been sick for two weeks that's why I wasn't able to write another chapter. Please bear with me on this one. I am not yet fully recovered and my writing kind of sucks.

Chapter 54

(A/N Continuation from the last chapter, Percy is still on the hospital)

Annabeth was gently stroking Percy's hand with the IV on it. Percy was just looking at what she was doing with a smile on his face. His eyes were glistening with happiness. Back before the start of the day, he never thought that something this great would happen, minus the fact the he was hurt again but that doesn't matter as long as at the end of the day he finally sees her and they were finally back together.

Percy can't even describe how happy he is. He's been waiting for so long for this moment. But there's a tiny part of him that is refusing to believe that everything that's happening is real. Too good to be true. That's what at least his brain is trying to say.

"What's wrong?" Annabeth asked that snapped him back to reality.

"Huh?"

"You're looking at me funny." She smiled.

"Oh." He blushed. "It's just that.." He intertwined their hands. "I was still having a hard time believing that this was all true. That you really are here." He confessed.

She squeezed his hand. "Silly. I'm right here so stop thinking I don't want you hurting yourself from thinking so hard." She smirked.

He pouted. "That's mean."

Annabeth just chuckled. He patted the space at his right side and motions her to sit beside him.

She raised her eyebrow at him but she followed him nonetheless.

She scooted closer to him once she was settled right beside him. He put his arm around her and kissed her cheek. "I love you."

Annabeth smiled. "You're awfully sweet."

"Don't you like it?"

"Of course I like it."

"Good."

"Good." She copied and smiled.

Percy nuzzled into her hair, loving the smell of her hair. He pulled her closer to him so that her back was resting against his chest. They were both enjoying the silence for a while just drinking the fact that they were together again. After some time he broke away when he realized something.

"Wait, how did you know I was here and when did you arrive?"

"Hmm.." She replied facing him then something hit her. "Oh crap! Just wait here."

"Hey where are you going?"

Annabeth was already at the door. "Just give me a sec." And she was already out of his sight.

He was confused so he forced himself to get up. Getting up with his condition is awfully hard. His body aches. Add the fact that his head is still hurting and his shoulder is throbbing. He managed to sit at the side of his bed. His feet touched the cold floor and for a while he shivers.

He was debating if he will move to the couch not far away from his bed but with his left hand hooked with IV it was a hard task. Just then the door swings open. He turned to look.

"What do you think you're doing?" Annabeth scolded upon seeing him sitting at the edge of his bed.

He smiled sheepishly at her. He was about to make an excuse when their friends whom he thought weren't going to show up burst in from the door.

"Percy!"

He was astounded upon seeing them. Leo whom he was considering as his best friend was the first one to approach to hug him.

"Careful!" Annabeth warned not wanting to repeat the last time.

Leo just rolled his eyes. "Great to see you alive Jackson." Percy just chuckled. One by one they hug him and that they were happy to see that he was doing okay. Then he saw Thalia and Silena. They were hidden at the back that's why he hasn't seen them right away.

"Hey." He greeted them. The two smiled at him. They both approached and hug him at the same time. He was beyond happy that all of his friends were there. Annabeth sits beside him again and he can't help but smile at her. Although she was trying to get him to lie on the bed but he was too stubborn to care.

"I take that you two were back together?" Leo asked smiling.

To prove Leo's point Percy wraps his right arm around Annabeth and kisses the top of her head. Their friends cooed. They were happy that finally they are together again.

"Wow I can't believe you're all right here."

"Well we can't pass up the opportunity to see you live in one of the most important concert in your life." Travis declared.

"You mean you guys saw the concert?"

"But of course dummy! Why else wewill be here if not for that?" Clarisse teased.

"Well I don't know. Maybe you guys just miss me so much." He grinned.

"You wish!"

"Hey!"

"But you did great Percy." Katie praised him.

"Great? I think the right term will be fantastic." Travis corrected.

"Man where did you learn to move like that?"

"Your singing was great. "

"You were awesome! Man I can't believe how many women are craving for you! I was so jealous."

"Okay that's enough!" Annabeth interrupted. "Let's not boost his ego too much." She joked.

Percy pouted. Annabeth laughed and kissed him on the cheek.

Then Percy noticed when Charles put his arm around Silena. Silena looked at Charles and smiled. Percy saw the familiar look they once shared when they were together. So that means they were back together again but how come he didn't tell him. Then he remembered his last conversation with Travis.

He was about to voice out his concern when Nico suddenly entered the room.

"So you've seen them all already." He smiled and went to Thalia's side.

To Percy's astonishment, Nico kissed Thalia's cheek and put his arm around her too just like what Charles did to Silena. All of these were confusing him. He looked at them.

"Okay! Will somebody tell me what the hell is going on?!" Percy suddenly voice out.

All he got was, "Huh?"

He gestured to the four of them. "Them? Are you guys together? Because if I remember correctly, no one told me about it." He narrowed his eyes on them.

Nico and Charles immediately pulled away their arms from their girlfriend's shoulder. They both looked guilty. They were debating on who's going to explain it to him.

"So they still haven't told you huh?" Leo smirked which earned him a death glare from Nico and Charles. He just stuck his tongue out them. Reyna nudged him from his side but he just smiled sweetly at her.

"Come on guys, come clean." Connor grinned. "He deserves to know."

"Deserves to know what?" Percy was getting impatient but deep inside he knew what they were talking about but he was simply dismissing it.

When nobody talked, "Okay will you guys give us a second? I just wanted to talk to Nico and Charles."

From his side, Annabeth pulled away and look at him. "You okay? Listen about Nico and Charles…"

He shook his head. "Don't. I'm okay and I just want the truth from them." He said seriously.

Annabeth let out a deep sigh. She knows Percy is pissed. "Okay then. We will just be right outside."

He just nodded. The rest of them exited the room leaving only Percy, Nico and Charles.

"Okay, I just wanted to know the truth. So tell me how long have you been back together?" He asked Charles first and then to Nico.

"A month ago." Charles answered timidly.

"Less than 4 months." Nico followed suit.

"What?!" Percy exclaimed. "And you didn't even bother telling me?"

"We were trying to protect you." Nico reasoned out.

"Protect me from what? Oh gods, you knew where she was right then. Am I right?" He accused Nico.

Nico and Charles looked at each other. They turned to Percy. "Yes."

Percy closed his eyes trying to suppress the anger that building inside of him. He clenched his fist.

"Why didn't you tell me? You knew how much I wanted to know where she is. And then all along you knew but you didn't tell me." He spat mostly to Nico.

"I wanted to tell you but it wasn't yet the right time."

"Right time? Are you kidding me?"

"You should try to understand Perce. We did that for you." Charles chimed in.

Percy glared at him. "You too, I can't believe this."

"If we did tell you, what will you do? Fly back to Greece? She wasn't ready to see you then."

Percy shook his head. "That wasn't the issue. The point is you didn't tell me."

"Why are you making a big fuss about it?" Maybe that wasn't the right thing for Nico to ask because the next thing he knew Percy abruptly stand from his bed, forgetting that there's an IV in his hand. As quickly as he can, he moved towards his cousin and punched him in the face.

Kelsi was heading towards his brother's room together with Eric and Shawn. Nico just left her a while ago in the cafeteria with her parents and Hestia. When Eric and Shawn arrived, they told them to go back to Percy's room. She was a little pissed since it means that Shawn will be following her whenever she goes again.

"Hey." She called to Shawn.

The two were in front of her, so they both stopped and turned to look at her. She looked at Shawn with a guilty look on her face.

"Shawn, I just um…" She started. "I'm sorry for getting you into trouble. We didn't know that this was going to happen."

Shawn and Eric looked at each other. Eric was suppressing his smile. He knows that Kelsi rarely apologized.

"Don't worry, you won't get fired. Percy and I will talk to Dad about it."

Shawn smiled at her. He's the same age with Percy and Eric. For the past 2 years, he'd already deal with rich kids just like them so it was really not new to him. "It's okay." He reassured her.

Kelsi saw Eric who's trying not to smile. When he caught her gaze, she narrowed her eyes on him. "What?!"

Eric just shook his head. He is not even fazed with her gaze anymore. He was immune to it by now after working with her for the past few months.

Kelsi huffed and went pass through them. The two chuckled and followed her.

LINEBREAK

"What do you think you're doing?" Annabeth asked to Travis, Connor and Leo. They were eavesdropping outside the door.

They shush her. "Quiet, I can't hear them." Connor complained.

She's tired to argue so she let them be and joined the others on the waiting area not far away from the door.

"Leo!" Reyna called. "Get your butt here."

He looked over his shoulder. "What?"

Reyna glared at him. He pouted but followed her anyways. Travis and Connor just smirked at him and then went back to eavesdropping.

Leo sits beside Reyna. She glared at him once more. "Sorry." He mouthed and smiled at her.

"Travis!" Katie hissed at her boyfriend but he just ignored her.

"Those two are idiots." Thalia commented.

"What do you expect?" Clarisse smirked.

"Do you think they're going to be fine?" Annabeth asked Silena who's sitting beside her. She can't help but to worry.

"Nah, don't worry they're going to be fine. They're cousins. It's not like they're going to kill each other."

Not far away from them, Kelsi stops in her tracks when she saw two men snooping at his brother's room. They looked like they were eavesdropping. Kelsi didn't know them yet so she felt fear when she saw them. She didn't notice the others that were sitting not far away from them.

"What is it?" Eric asked concerned. He followed Kelsi's gaze. When he saw what she was looking, he and Shawn became alert.

Shawn immediately went in front of Kelsi to protect her. Shawn and Eric both reached for their guns.

"Stay back." Eric ordered to Kelsi. He nodded to Shawn and they slowly approach the two. Kelsi was trailing behind Eric.

"Excuse me sir." Eric called.

Travis and Connor ignored him. They didn't know that they were the ones he was referring to.

Eric tried again and still no reaction from the two. This time Eric and Shawn pulled out their guns and pointed at them. This time Eric shouted.

"Step away from the door!"

This time Travis and Connor snapped their heads to them. Even their friends got their attention.

"Whoah Whoah!" Travis and Connor raise their hands immediately in surrender.

"We didn't do anything we promised!" Both the brothers exclaimed, terrified by the guns pointed at them.

"We will ask you again sir. Please step away from the door."

Travis and Connor immediately backed away from the door. "Okay! Okay!"

"Wait!" Leo called upon seeing the situation. There were cries from their friends too. He rushed to his friend's side. "They're with us. They mean no harm." He defended. By this time all of their friends quickly rushed to their sides too. They were all nervous about the situation.

Eric then recognized Leo. He'd only met him through skype, so just to make sure he called his name. "Leo?"

Leo looked at him. Then he must have recognized him too. "Eric?"

When Kelsi heard Eric called Leo, she immediately went to Eric's side to look but Shawn stops her. She on the other hand dismissed Shawn's warning. "Leo? As in Leo Valdez?" She asked.

"Kelsi?"

"Oh my God! It is you." Kelsi immediately went to him and they both hug each other. She ignored Shawn's call. Eric then put back his gun on his holster. He gestured Shawn to put away his gun too. Eric motioned him to stand guard at the door. And he approached the group.

Travis and Connor glared at him. Eric can't blame them though. He went to Leo's side and offered his hand. "It's finally nice to meet you in person." He smiled at him.

"You too man." Leo smiled while shaking his hand.

"By the way I'm sorry about what happened. We're just doing our job." Eric said to them but mostly to Travis and Connor. Travis scowled but nudged by Katie.

"It's okay man. Those two were being idiots anyway." Leo chuckled.

"Hey! We're just trying to hear what was happening in there." Connor defended.

Leo ignored him. "Kelsi I want you to meet everyone. There are my friends and Percy's too back in Greece."

Kelsi smiled at them. She recognized Reyna. "Reyna?" She asked uncertainly.

Reyna nodded and they hugged each other. When Kelsi pulled away she saw Annabeth and her eyes widen.

"You're Annabeth!" She exclaimed. "You're here." She squealed and to everyone's surprised she gave her a tackling hug.

It's a good thing Annabeth is taller than her so she managed not to stumble by the sudden force.

Kelsi pulled away from her but not yet fully releasing her. "Oh my gods! I'm so happy that you're here. I can't wait to see Percy's reaction when he sees you!"

"Oh it's a little late for that." Travis smirked.

Kelsi scrunched her eyebrows and turned to look at him. "What do you mean?"

"He has already seen her. Oh actually I mean all of us." Leo explained.

"What?!" Kelsi pouted. "I guess I'm a little late huh? It's Nico's fault then. Why does he have to drag me away to the cafeteria?"

They all chuckled at Kelsi's reaction. Leo then introduced her to the rest of the group.

"So why are you here outside then?" Kelsi asked.

"They kicked us out." Travis deadpanned.

Kelsi looked at him with a puzzled look. "What do you mean?"

Annabeth glared at him. "What Travis was trying to say is that they wanted to talk privately so we gave them some space." She tried to reason out.

"What for?"

"Some stuff." Leo offered.

"Like what?" Kelsi persisted.

Leo scratched the back of his head and looked at Annabeth for help.

"Just some stuff that they needed to sort it out."

Kelsi was a little irritated for not getting a straight answer. "Excuse me for a minute." She said while turning her back to them heading towards the room.

"Wait Kelsi." Leo called but she ignored him.

With an apologetic smile, Eric followed Kelsi.

"Way to go Travis." Leo scolded. Travis just rolled his eyes on him.

Their gaze followed Kelsi as she enters the room without even knocking. With a resigned look they just went back to sitting and waiting for them to finish their conversation.

Annabeth was a little worried for Percy. She's definitely sure that her boyfriend is somewhat angry upon learning the truth that both his cousins hide the truth from him.

LINEBREAK

Charles, Nico and Percy were frozen from their spot as the door suddenly opened. Kelsi and Eric too were shocked to see what was happening inside. Charles was in between Percy and Nico. Nico was clutching his face where Percy hit him. Charles was straining Percy.

"What's going on in here?" Eric asked suddenly upon seeing the situation. He noticed the IV fluid that crashed on the floor with its pole. His gaze turned towards Percy's left hand and indeed it is bleeding from the sudden force.

"Percy!" Kelsi squeaked seeing the blood on his brother's left hand. "What are you guys doing?"

She moved towards his brother. Charles successfully pinned Percy to sit down on his bed. Eric picked up the pole and the IV fluid. He then proceeded to examine Percy's hand. He tried to wave him off.

Nico sat on the couch opposite to Percy's bed. His left jaw was bruised. He tasted blood on his lips too. He noticed Percy looking at him. Guilt was evident in his face. He looked away when Nico noticed him. Nico was not mad at him for hitting him. Well he kind of deserved it anyway. If ever they switched places, he'll be mad too.

Eric went out the room to call a nurse or a doctor.

"You okay?" Charles asked Percy.

Percy looked at his bloody hand. The needle of his IV was half way pulled out by his forced movement when he punched Nico. Blood is trickling on it. He just nodded his head.

"Did you just punch Nico?" Kelsi exclaimed when she finally connected the dots.

Percy just kept silent. Kelsi looked at Charles for confirmation.

Charles nodded. "Yes but nothing to worry, they're okay now, right?" He looks at the two pointedly.

"Of course." Nico answered. He looked at Percy. "I'm really sorry about it. I know it's wrong to keep it from you but I want you to know that we only want what's good for you."

"I know. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have hit you." Percy apologized.

Nico snorted. "I guess we're even now huh?"

Percy chuckled. "I guess so."

"What are you guys talking about?" Kelsi ask frustratingly.

Percy ruffled her hair. Kellsi swatted away his hands.

"It's an adult matter." The three chuckled much to her annoyance.

A little later, Eric came in followed by Apollo, Poseidon and Sally.

"What happened?" Apollo asked once he saw Percy's hand. He glanced at Nico with a bruised face then back at Percy's hand. "Okay, I think I know what happened." He said raising his eyebrow. He inspected Percy's hand.

Percy winced when Apollo Pulled the IV out of his hand.

"Okay." Apollo started. "I need to transfer the IV now to your right hand."

Percy groaned. "Do you have to?" Apollo just laughed at him.

"So who wants to tell me what happened?" Sally asked crossing her arms.

Poseidon went to sit beside Nico. "Nah don't bother to ask. I'm sure they already sorted it out."

Sally glared at him. "Your son just punched his cousin and you don't want to know what happened." She said exasperated.

"What?" Poseidon chuckled. "They're both adult now. Let them handle their own problems."

"Mom, it's okay. It's just a little misunderstanding. Besides we're okay now." Percy explained. "Right Nico?"

"Yes Aunt Sally." Nico second handed while nursing his jaw with an ice pack.

Sally just rolled her eyes on them. "Boys." She muttered.

"Boys are stupid!" Kelsi exclaimed which Sally laughs at.

"Hey!"

"Okay done." Apollo said. He patted Percy's shoulder. "We'll keep you overnight just to make sure you're okay. We can release you tomorrow."

"What? Can't I just go home? I'm okay now." Percy whined.

"Percy." Sally warned. "If he says you're staying then you're staying."

Percy groaned. "Dad?" He asked for help.

Poseidon both raised his hands in surrender. "Hey don't drag me into that." Sally glared even more at him. "Okay! Okay!" He chuckled. "Just do what they say son. It's for your own good."

"I'll listen to them if I were you." Nico teased.

"Fine." Percy resigned.

"Okay then. I need to go now. I have some things to attend to before I go home." Apollo declared.

"Okay. Thanks." Percy said.

"Stay out of trouble, will you?" Apollo said to him.

"I'll try." He chuckled.

Apollo kissed Sally on the cheek. "Thank you."

Apollo said his goodbye and went out of the room.

LINEBREAK

"Who is that?" Thalia asked once he saw Apollo leaving out the room.

"Oh that's Apollo, Percy's doctor and his cousin." Hestia answered for them. She joined the group a while ago.

"Wow." Katie and Reyna praised. "He's hot."

"What?" Their boyfriends exclaimed.

"So he's your nephew too?" They asked Hestia.

"Yes." She smiled. "But he doesn't know yet."

Charles suddenly went out of the room to join them. Once he was near them, "Are you guys a family of models or something?" Clarisse asked him.

"What?" Charles replied confused.

"Your cousin is hot."

"Good gods ." Chris grunted.

Charles just chuckled. "He's just one of my cousins. We're going to meet the rest of them some other time. Let's see after that if you are right about all of us." He told Clarisse.

"So you're counting yourself as one of them?" Silena teased him.

"Hey! That's mean." He pouted.

"I'm just kidding." Silena chuckled and wrap her arms around his waist.

"What's going on in there?" Leo asked.

"Oh right. Come on guys. We are about to go home. Let's just go and see Percy before we head home."

The group went inside the room. Annabeth immediately went to Percy's side, not minding that his parents are there too.

Once Percy saw her, he smiled widely at her. "You okay?" She asked. Then she noticed Percy's hand. "What happened?"

Percy grinned at her. "Nothing." She narrowed her eyes on him.

Nico cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention. "Percy is going to stay for the rest of the night. So that means we need to go home now and let him rest. He'll be discharge tomorrow."

The others agreed.

"I'm staying here with you." Annabeth offered. She heard their friends snickered but she ignored them.

Percy smiled at her. "It's okay. You need to take a rest too. I'll be fine besides Eric and Shawn will going to accompany me."

"But.."

"Hey it's okay. I'll see you tomorrow." He reassured her.

"Don't worry Annabeth, he'll be fine here. They'll watch after him." Sally offered smiling at her. She's happy that finally they're back together. Even though they didn't tell her yet, she is definitely sure by just looking at them.

They said their goodbyes to Percy.

Sally went to kiss her son on the cheek. Hestia and Kelsi did the same. Poseidon patted his son on the back. "We'll see you tomorrow. Just take a rest okay?"

Percy nodded his head smiling at them. "Okay."

When it was Annabeth's turn, they gave them space pretending to be busy talking to each other.

Percy chuckled when he noticed it but he was thankful though.

"Are you sure you are going to be fine?" She asked.

"I'm sure." He replied caressing her face. She intertwined their hands.

"Okay then. Take a rest. I'll see you tomorrow."

"I'll see you tomorrow." He said grinning. "I love you."

They've heard what Percy just said and they can't help but smile.

"I love you too." She replied smiling at him. She brought her face down to him to give him a quick kiss on the lips but Percy cupped her face prolonging the kiss.

When they broke apart, Annabeth was blushing. She's very much aware that everyone is looking at them. Percy doesn't mind though. He squeezed her hand.

Poseidon cleared his throat. "Okay, goodnight son." He said.

Annabeth blushed once more. She smiled at him before joining the others.

"I'm going to miss you." Percy called to her once they were leaving the room.

Annabeth blushed even more when their friends started teasing her.

Eric turned to Percy once they were alone in the room.

"Since when did you become so cheesy?" He teased Percy.

Percy stuck his tongue at him. "You can't blame me."

"Yeah I definitely can't. She's beautiful by the way. I can see why you are so crazy about her."

"Hey it's not just her beauty that I am so in love with her."

"Then that's good to hear."

Percy smiled at him. "Yeah."

"I never thought that one day I'll see you like that."

"What do you mean?"

"I was used to seeing girls head over heels in love with you and now, look at you. You're just like them. So much in love, I thought it isn't possible." He teased.

"Hey! Have some faith in me."

Eric chuckled. "I haven't seen you like that when you were dating Calypso."

"Nico told me the same thing. Well because I am in love with Annabeth, that's only the reason I know."

"I guess so. Now go to sleep before I force you to."

"Ha ha. Fine."

Eric went out of the room to let him take a rest and to check on Shawn. Percy closed his eyes. He thinks about Annabeth and a smile grace on his lips. Soon he drifted off to sleep.
