Chapter 56

Percy's POV

Kelsi and Annabeth looked at me skeptically.

"Both of you need to calm down."

"Not until you explain it." Kelsi demanded.

I nervously scratched the back of my head. Not that I have something to hide but come on can I just take a break for a while.

"I will." I pointed out. I looked at Annabeth. "But I need to talk to her first." Motioning to Annabeth.

She raised her eyebrow at me. I offered my hand to her after I stand up. For a while she hesitated but soon she took it.

I turned to Kelsi while holding Annabeth's hand. "I'll explain it to you later princess." I smiled sadly at her. Without waiting for her reply, I excused us and went inside the house dragging Annabeth with me.

Third Person's POV

Kelsi then realized something while looking at Percy and Annabeth heading back inside the house.

"Oh shit!" She cursed.

Nico chastised her. She mouthed sorry and took a seat beside him.

"What?" Nico questioned her.

"I was an idiot." She groaned. "I shouldn't have dropped it to him like that. I should have talk to him privately. Gods, Annabeth must be angry at him right now and it's my fault."

Nico chuckled beside her but she glared at him. Thalia was trying to suppress her smile too.

"Okay." He said seriously this time. "You totally screwed it…" Thalia smacked him at the back of his head.

He protested but Thalia glared at him. She's looking at him like he was an idiot.

"Fine." He whined. "Sorry about that. But seriously though, it was wrong but don't worry about it. They're going to be fine. I'm sure your brother will take care of it."

"I hope so." She smiled sadly.

"Hey." Nico called her. "Don't be too wrapped up with the things involving Percy and Calypso. You should trust Percy."

"I know. It's just that I hate her. She should stay away from him. She's just giving him problems."

"Hey, don't think like that." Nico patted her back.

Kelsi didn't say anything anymore. She went back to looking at her phone.

Nico and Thalia looked at each other. Let her be. Thalia mouthed to Nico. He nodded and they went back to their previous discussion.

Percy's POV

Annabeth didn't say a word until we were heading upstairs. She pulled back. "Where are we going?"

"In my room." I stated.

"Why?" She questioned with a hint of doubt.

"We need privacy." I stated bluntly.

She didn't asked any further so I continued dragging her until we were inside my room.

Once we were inside she scanned my room. I went to sit on my bed. She remained standing at the center of my room, her eyes roaming around. When she was satisfied enough she crossed her arms and looked at me, urging me to explain.

"Come here." I patted the space beside me but she opted to sit on the couch across my room. I looked at her with disbelief in my eyes but she just glared at me. With a resigned look I stand up and went to sit beside her. As soon as I scooted closer she moved away.

"Really?" I asked exasperated.

She just raised her eyebrow at me. "Explain." She demanded.

"Okay." I countered. I reach for her hand and luckily this time she let me do it. "Where do you want me to start?"

"How about when did you start being friends with her again after all that happened between the two of you?"

So I told her that it wasn't really intentional. It wasn't our place to decide whether to accept it or not.

"Wait." She interrupted. "Can you just spill it out? I don't think I am following you."

I rolled my eyes on her. "Fine, Calypso and I start working together again."

"What?!"

"We are doing a song together." She was about to cut me off but I beat her to it. "For the record I didn't have a choice or yet we didn't have a choice."

"What do you mean you didn't have a choice? If you don't like it in the first place then you should have said no!"

"Hey don't accuse me like that. I told you we didn't have a choice. I even talked to Nico about it but he can't do anything. And besides it's just a song, baby."

She glared at me for calling her baby. "Just a song, certain things can happen you know. You're going to be working with her and I don't think I am comfortable with that idea."

"Aww I think I know what this is all about, you're jealous." I teased.

"No I am not!" She denied. "I said I wasn't comfortable with you two working together again. I never said I was jealous."

I scooted closer smiling at her. She tried to push me away but with a little force.

"Yes you are."

"Don't be smug." She said. "And besides should I really be? Is there something I should be jealous about?" She said raising her eyebrow at me.

"None." I stated. "Smart ass." I teased.

She smacked my good arm. "Language Perseus."

I groaned. "Please, not you too." I whined.

She chuckled but run her fingers into my hair. "What's wrong with it? It's your name."

"Please don't." I groaned and rest my head on her shoulder. She chuckled and rests her chin on my head.

After a while, I moved my head to look at her with a smile on my face. I probably looked like a lovestruck idiot.

"What?" She asked smiling.

"Nothing, it's just everything is so perfect right now." I pulled away slightly so I can look at her properly. I reached out to tuck a stray hair to her ear.

I was expecting her to tease me for being so sappy but he kept her gaze on me. Smiling slightly as she reached for my face and run her knuckles on my cheek. I hold her hand that is on my face and kissed it.

"You don't have to worry about me working with Calypso again. We've already talked about things, putting our past behind us and start being friends again. She's just a friend now and nothing more."

"I know." She said. "It's just you guys had a long history together and we just…" I cut her off.

"And we have the whole future to make our own history. I love you Annabeth Chase and I don't care any other girl but you."

Her eyes were glazed over and I know she's fighting tears. I cupped her face with my free hand. "I love you." I murmured before pulling her into a sweet kiss. It wasn't long but it's enough to warm us both.

I didn't pull away from her. I kept my forehead resting on hers with my hand caressing her face.

"I love you too."

This time she was the one who close the small gap that we have. The kiss started slowly and sweetly but then it become more intense and needy. I pulled her closer to me. Her hands were on my hair and mine is on her hips. We were both putting all our emotion on the kiss trying to fill the 6 months that we've lost.

We just pulled away slightly to come up for air. She managed to move from the couch all the way to my lap without breaking the kiss. She was now straddling me. I started to kiss her jaw and went down to her neck. I nibbled on the skin just below her ear where I know she is sensitive. A low moan escapes her lips which turned me on even more.

My free hand started to move up touching the bare skin underneath her shirt. I went back to kissing her lips. Things were starting to get heavy and I don't know if I can be able to stop myself. Her hands started to feel my chest. And then she moved it until she was grasping the hem of my shirt. My mind was too fuzzy to think that I didn't realize that she was lifting my shirt when a pain shot through my shoulder.

I hissed and her eyes went wide. "Oh my gods!" She exclaimed. "I'm so sorry. I'm an idiot."

"It's okay." I reassured and then I started laughing. She was blushing from embarrassment but soon she joined me from laughing. We both managed to forgot that I was wearing a sling. Well you forgot things when you are making out with your girlfriend that you haven't seen in the past 6 months.

"Are you sure you're okay?" She asked as soon as we stop laughing. She inspects my shoulder.

"I'm fine, don't worry." I said pecking her lips.

She rests her forehead on mine. "So much for making out." She snorted.

She adjusted herself on my lap to get more comfortable. Her side is on my chest. I wrapped my free hand on her body. She just rests her head on the crook of my neck while her fingers playing with mine. We were silent just enjoying each other's comfort.

After a while she spoke. "I think we should go back outside." She suggested.

I groaned and pulled her even closer to me if that's even possible. "I don't want to." I whined.

She chuckled and pulled away from me. "Me too but our friends are outside and even your family. We don't want them thinking that we are doing something up here." She smirked.

We both chuckled. Knowing our friends they were probably thinking about it right now. She stands up and fixes her hair and clothes before she offers her hand to help me. She tried to fix my hair but no such luck. She soon fixes my shirt. We exited my room and with our hands intertwined we go back to our friends.

LINEBREAK

The couple went back outside to join their friends. Their friends were smirking at them with a knowing look on their faces. Percy just shook his head in disbelief while Annabeth rolled her eyes on them. They went back to their seat.

Kelsi saw them coming and she pretended to be busy with her phone. She was on the other side of the table sitting beside Nico and Thalia. Thalia and Nico smiled at them but Kelsi ignored them. Percy eyed Kelsi curiously but she remained passive.

Percy looked at Nico for answers. He mouthed talk to her.

Percy looked at Annabeth for permission. "Go." She said. He kissed her cheek before going to his sister's side.

"Hey kiddo." Percy called once he was standing beside Kelsi. She looked up from her phone and smiled guiltily at him.

"Come on, help me with something." He said. Kelsi scrunched her eyebrows at him but soon got up to follow her brother inside the house.

"What's up?" Annabeth asked while looking at the sibling heading inside the house.

"Kelsi's guilty about what happened earlier. She thought you're going to be mad at Percy." Nico explained.

"Well I think that wasn't the case though. Someone must have some fun inside." Thalia teased her.

Annabeth glared at her.

"Oh come on, don't act so innocent. I can definitely tell my dear. Your lips are swollen."

Annabeth grabs a magazine that was on the table and throws it at Thalia. Thalia and Nico just laugh at her.

Inside the house, Percy head towards the kitchen and Kelsi was silently trailing behind him. He went to the fridge to get some water. Kelsi just watched her brother from across the kitchen, her back on the sink.

Percy went beside her to put the glass on the sink. He copied his sister's position. "So.." He started.

"I'm sorry." Kelsi blurted out while looking at her shoes. "I shouldn't have done that."

Percy chuckled. He moved to stand in front of Kelsi. "Hey look at me."

She hesitantly looked at him.

"It's okay. I know you're just concern about me but there's nothing to worry about. Calypso and I just talked. She just wanted to see if I'm okay and that she's sorry for what happened, nothing more."

She let out a deep sigh. "Yeah I should have just asked you properly instead of freaking out. It's just that I hate her."

"Hey no need for that, I think it's time for you to forget what happened in the past. We're friends again and you could be too if you like. She's a nice person too you know."

"Forgive her, maybe, but to be friends with her? I think it will be best if not." She shrugged.

"I think that will do. Come here." He said opening his arms for her.

Kelsi oblige and hugged her brother. Percy kissed the top of her head. "Thank you for being a sweet sister."

Kelsi snorted. "Much like an overprotective sister though." Percy chuckled.

"Whatever you say kiddo. Now come on I'm hungry."

"You are always hungry."

"Yeah you're definitely right." He chuckled. Percy put her arm on her shoulder and they head towards the pool.

Percy, Nico and Charles were getting ready for their family dinner. Percy was at Nico's place too since he is going to stay for the night. He was occupying the room where Hestia used to since she already moved to their home so that she can hang out with Poseidon and Sally more.

Luckily, Percy has to lose the sling since it was now ok to move his shoulder freely. He is currently on the room fresh from the bathroom when there is a knock on the door. He opened it and it was Annabeth.

"Hi." He greeted. "Need anything?" He asked while he opened the door fully for her.

Annabeth blushed lightly upon seeing her boyfriend fresh from shower and clad with only his boxers.

"Umm… Can I come in?" She asked a bit hesitant.

"Of course." He smiled widely and drags her inside the room. "I'm just getting ready for the dinner. Is Nico and Charles ready?"

"Not yet I think. I haven't seen them downstairs."

Percy just nodded and proceeds to putting his black slacks on. As soon as he finished putting his sleeveless undershirt, he went to Annabeth who was sitting at the foot of the bed.

"Are you sure you don't want to come?" He asked again.

"Yes I'm sure." She said resting her head on his shoulder.

"Why not?"

"I've told you already, right?" She pulled away to look him in the eye. "This night is for Hestia and Charles. It is for your whole family. Even Thalia and Silena agree with me. There will always be next time but not right now."

"It's just that it is a perfect opportunity since all of them will be there. It rarely happens. And I want them to finally meet my beautiful girlfriend."

Annabeth snorted. "Not going to work Seaweed Brain." She shoved his face away. "Now go put your shirt on.

While helping Percy to button up his white shirt on, Annabeth remembered something. "Hey by the way I have to ask you something."

"What is it?"

"Is there something wrong with Nico?"

"Why'd you asked?"

"Well when you suggested that the three of us should join you to dinner, he turned pale. Is he sick or something?"

"You mean you notice that too?"

"You notice it too? I thought I was just mistaken since my eyes are tired."

"Nope, I saw it too. Don't worry I'll ask him later."

"Okay." She fixed the collar of his shirt. "Tie?" She asked.

"Nope, it's just a formal dinner with the family. No need for that."

"Hmm you know I can get use to seeing you dress like this. It makes you look hot."

Percy raised his eyebrow at her with a hint of smile. "You think I'm hot?" He put his hands on her waist pulling her closer to him.

"Hmmm." She murmured and pecks his lips. "Especially when you were on the stage performing." This time she kisses him properly on the lips. It was slow, sweet and passionate.

Percy was the first to break away. "Ugh you're killing me."

"What?" She asked innocently. "Is it wrong to kiss my boyfriend?"

"No, but said boyfriend need to go and attend some family dinner. Sending him off with that kind of kiss is just so unfair."

This time Annabeth laughs. "Oh I'm sorry if I made him feel that way. If it makes him feel better said girlfriend will be waiting for him when he comes back home."

"Hmm he will be looking forward to it." He kissed her on the lips this time. He runs his hands on her back which sends shiver to her.

They were both startled when there's a knock on the door. "Hey Perce, are you ready to go?" It was Nico.

Percy cleared his throat before answering. "Yeah, I'll be there in a sec."

"Okay." Nico called and they heard his faint footsteps away.

Annabeth was suppressing a smile. She pecks his lips once more before breaking away. She grabs his coat and helps him with it. Together they went downstairs.

Nico is talking to their friends when they arrived downstairs.

"Where's Charles?" Percy asked. As if on cue Charles and Silena emerged from upstairs.

Charles looked kind of pale just like Nico a while ago.

"You okay?" Percy asked.

"He's nervous." Silena blurted out.

Charles glared at her. "Thanks a lot." He grumbled.

"Oh don't be like that." She kissed his cheek. "Now off you go guys or you're going to be late."

"I think that wouldn't be a bad idea." Charles offered. "You know to be late." He received questioning looks from his friends.

"Oh is little Charles afraid to meet his relatives?" Connor teased.

"Shut up!"

"Hey Charles, there's no need to be nervous. They're going to like you." Nico reassured him.

"And what if not?"

"Oh come on Charles, don't be like that besides your mom is going to be there too." Thalia offered.

"She's right you know." Percy added. "Nico and I will be there too so you're going to do great. "

"Now come on guys. We don't want to piss Uncle Zeus for being late. You know how he hates late people."

Charles gulped and Percy has to pat him on the back. The three cousins waved goodbye to their friends before going to the garage. Their girlfriends accompanied them.

Nico and Percy were debating whether whose car are they going to use.

"Seriously?" Thalia asked the two of them.

"What?" Nico asked defensively. "Blame him." He pointed to Percy. "He's the one who's opposed to using my car."

"Both of you are idiots." Annabeth teased. "Guys and their cars, just decide already. You're going to be late." She scolded.

"Hey! You're supposed to be on my side." Percy pouted.

Charles and Silena just watched the four of them bickering.

Annabeth narrowed her eyes on Percy, secretly telling him to stop it.

With a huffed, Percy eventually gave in. "Fine we will use your car." He looked at his girlfriend and rolled his eyes on her. She has a smirked on her face.

Nico smirked at him but went to open his car.

"Don't be smug." Percy told him. Annabeth kissed his cheek. "Hey just let it go okay. Beside your shoulder just healed so it's better not to force it.

Percy nodded.

With one final goodbye to their girlfriends the three of them head towards one of the finest hotel and restaurant of New York City.

Nico is driving, Percy is on the shot gun seat and Charles is at the back. The ride was quiet. Charles chose not to say anything because of his nervousness.

"You okay in there, Charles?" Percy asked. He turned to look at him.

"Yes. No. Ugh.." Charles groaned.

Nico and Percy just chuckled. "You're going to be great, just breathe so that you feel better. Our cousins are going to love you."

Charles just nodded his head. Percy then turned to look at Nico. "Hey, mind if I ask you something?"

"What?"

"What happened a while ago?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why'd you paled when I suggested that the girls will come with us?"

Nico abruptly hit the brake, startling his two passengers. If Percy wasn't wearing his seatbelts, his face must have hit the dashboard. A pain shot to his left shoulder though because of the sudden force and the seatbelt that holding him.

"What the hell Nico!" Percy cursed rubbing his shoulder.

Nico gripped the wheel a little too tight. "What are you talking about?" He tried to be casual. He started driving again.

"Now you can't deny that nothing is wrong by just pulling that stunt." Percy stated. "Right, Charles?"

"Yes. Actually Silena and I noticed it too Nico." Charles stated. "Are you afraid to introduce Thalia to your family?"

"W..What are you talking about?" He tried to deny.

Percy who was watching him carefully on his side burst out laughing. "Oh Hades, you are!"

Nico glared at him. "It's not funny." He finally admitted. He saw on the center mirror that Charles was trying to hold his laughter. "I hate you both!"

"Don't worry Nico, we totally understand." Percy said smirking. He turned to Charles. "Do you know that Thalia is Nico's first girlfriend?"

"No way!" Charles exclaimed. "Really?"

Percy nodded. "Yup! Hard to believe yeah?"

Nico groaned. "Stop it."

"Why?" Charles asked Nico.

"What do you mean, why?" Nico asked him.

"I mean you've never liked anyone else before?"

Percy answered it for him. "Oh he did. Every time he tried to ask some girl out, he chicken out at the last minute." Percy taps his chin pretending to think. "Actually I was wondering how you managed to asked Thalia out without making a fool out of yourself."

"Wow that's very nice coming from you, to think that you are my cousin." Nico replied sarcastically.

"I'm just messing with you man." Percy punched his arm.

"But seriously though." Charles started. "Are you nervous about your family meeting Thalia?"

"Yes." Nico admitted. "It's just that she's my first real relationship. I'm afraid that something might go wrong and Thalia will dump my sorry ass. What if she will not like them or the other way around? I've no idea what to do."

"I'm sure they're going to like her." Charles offered.

"Yeah he's right you know. Bianca and Hazel will sure like Thalia. For Uncle Hades, I don't know but he never asked you about your love life so I think you're safe with him too."

"Maybe?" He said unsurely.

"Oh come on don't be like that. You're not helping Charles by freaking out about that matter." Percy scolded.

"Nope, I think I'm all good. I just remembered the first time meeting Silena's parents. I was terrified too. Her step father, Ares, was a military man, jeez that man is so terrifying I almost piss my pants right there. But thankfully I managed to earn his trust."

"Jeez Charles, you just scared Nico about meeting Thalia's parents."

"Oh my bad." Charles apologized.

Nico didn't say anything more so both of his cousins let him be until they arrived at the hotel. This will be the first time that Percy will be seen at a public place after the incident.

Nico saw the look of hesitation on Percy when he saw that a small number of paparazzi were patiently waiting to capture pictures of the high, elite and popular people.

Percy knew that he looked better than the day he went out of the hospital but still he is not yet sure if he is okay being photographed again.

"You okay?" It was Nico's turn to ask.

"Yeah just having second thoughts, but who am I kidding anyway? Of course they will be everywhere, it's not like I can forever hide from them." Percy snorted.

"Truth." Nico answered. "Ready? Charles?"

"I think so."

The three of them step out of the car. As soon as the paparazzi caught sight of Nico and Percy the reaction were instant. Flashes of camera were everywhere. They were even trying to get Percy's attention but he just ignored them and bowed his head. They were escorted up to the entrance of the hotel.

"Well that was exciting." Charles chuckled.

Percy huffed. "You haven't seen how desperate they can get sometimes. They can really get to your nerves. I wonder sometimes if they were doing that on purpose."

Nico snorted beside him. "That's their job you idiot."

"Whatever."

The three of them were escorted to their table. They greeted people along the way.

"Seems like everyone knows you around here." Charles noticed.

"That's the beauty of children of the big three, people know you everywhere." Nico stated.

"Beauty? Much like nightmare." Percy chuckled. "Don't worry you'll get your chance once they knew you and mom. It will be instant, much more dramatic in your case."

The look on Charles face was priceless. "W..what? You're kidding right?"

"I wish I am brother." Percy teased even more. "You'll get use to it eventually."

Charles looked like he wanted to bolt out from the restaurant. "Hey relax will you." Nico patted his back. He can see now their family. Their table was far from the others so that they can have their privacy.

Zeus, Hera, his wife and his two children, Artemis and Apollo were already there. Hades, Persephone, his new wife, Hazel and Bianca were also there. It was odd to see that Percy's family is not yet there.

Percy checked his watch, they are still a bit early but he's wondering where his family is. He was about to call them when someone called his name. It was Kelsi and beside her is his whole family. They went to greet them before they went straight to their table.

As soon as the rest of their families caught sight of them they flashed they gorgeous smile. Zeus and Hades were frozen when they saw who's beside Poseidon. Just like what happens in the movies, they both stand up at the same time startling their families.

Poseidon was just grinning beside Hestia. Hestia on the other hand was nearly in tears. She felt Poseidon put his arm on her shoulders to give her support. Hades and Zeus make way to them.

"I.." Zeus stuttered. "H..Hestia is that really you?" He asked while he grabs her hands.

Hestia nodded and that was all it takes for Zeus to envelop her into a bone crushing hug. Zeus and Hades, who doesn't normally show any affection to others, but for the first time they saw them silently cry. Hades took his turn to hug Hestia when Zeus finally released her. Soon four of them were hugging each other desperately. It was like the three of them were afraid that she'll be gone again.

It was a sight that you rarely see, the Big Three so vulnerable. It was a proof that they are human capable of loving, caring and even hurting. It was unusual for them to show affection but when it comes to their families they'll do anything for them even if sometimes they don't show it.

Their wives and children were just looking at them amusedly. The ones who didn't know about her were confused.

Artemis and Apollo looked at their mom for confirmation and she smiled at them. They knew that their father's sister was missing for years now and Apollo was shocked to learn that he already saw her at the hospital and he doesn't have any idea that it was her. Artemis was just happy just like her mom.

Persephone on the other hand, has no idea who she is. Hades didn't talk about her. Hazel and Bianca knew about her and they were both happy to learn that she was back in their lives. Nico went to his sister's side to kiss them both on their cheek. They watched affectionately as their father show how vulnerable he can get when it comes to his sister.

Percy put his arms around Kelsi and Sally. Together they watched the heartfelt scene that was happening in front of them.

Charles, who is beside Kelsi, was trying to fight back tears that are threatening to fall down. He knows how much his mom loves her brothers in spite of everything that happened between them. He was just glad to see that in return they love his mother too. Kelsi squeezed his hand for comfort. She must have noticed that he was on the verge of tears.

Luckily their fellow customers were too far from them to realize what was happening. Poseidon makes sure that they will be given the needed privacy tonight.

After some time they finally pulled away from each other. You can see the tears in their eyes. They chuckled at themselves when Poseidon commented on how stupid they might have looked to their families.

One by one Zeus and Hades introduced her to their own families. Then it was Hestia's turn to introduce Charles to them. Charles' nervousness was soon lifted when he felt how warmly they welcomed him. He's a little bit emotional when he finally met all of his cousins. Nico and Percy smiled warmly at him.

Soon they all settled down to their seats and ordered their foods. While waiting for their food they bombard Hestia and Poseidon with questions regarding on how they find each other. They took turns on telling the story. Once in a while Percy added some information since he was a major part on why they finally found Hestia again.

Soon the attention was moved to Percy about his recent incident. Zeus offered his help if there's something he could about the case but Poseidon declined. He said that they can handle it since they are sure that they're absolutely going to win. Apollo asked Percy if he's feeling better now and he said yes.

Then the attention was shifted to Charles, at first he was hesitant to answer their questions but soon he finally warmed up to them. He happens to mention his girlfriend and that soon lead to different questions that Nico was afraid off. They asked Charles why he didn't bring his girlfriend if she is in New York right now.

Charles caught sight of Nico's gaze and he's not sure how to answer the question. He was about to lie something when Sally beat him to it.

"I was wondering that too since we arrived. Why didn't you invite your girlfriends to this dinner?" She asked the three of them.

Nico was drinking his water when Sally asked the question. He accidentally choked on his drink. He received questioning looks from the rest of their families. Charles and Percy were smirking at him. He glared at them.

"Wait." Hazel started. "You mean the three of them?" She asked his Aunt Sally. "Even Nico?" She throws a questioning look at her brother but he just avoided her gaze.

"Why didn't he tell you?" Sally asked confused. All attention was now focused to Nico much to his dismay.

Hades spoke up. "You mean Nico has a girlfriend and he doesn't even have the decency to introduce her to us."

"It's not like that." Nico scratched the back of his head. He wanted the floor to swallow him whole.

"How long now?" Bianca asked.

"Less than four months I think." Percy answered for him. He was enjoying the look on his cousin's face.

"And yet we didn't even know." Bianca said slightly hurt that their brother is keeping something from them.

"Finally you have a girlfriend!" Apollo exclaimed. "It took you long enough but I guess I'm happy for you." He said grinning.

"First girlfriend right?" Artemis asked Nico. Nico just nodded not knowing how to deal with the situation anymore.

"It's quite shocking actually." Kelsi stated. "I thought he's going to grow old alone." She teased. Sally scolded her.

Percy took pity on his cousin. "You're going to meet them one day before they all go back to Greece. Actually we did, invite them mom." He turned to Sally. "But they declined, saying that this night is for Mom (Hestia) and Charles."

"Oh that's so sweet of them." Persephone commented. Hades smiled at his wife. He looks in love though.

"Well we are looking forward to meeting your girlfriends, especially yours Nico." Hazel said pointedly. Nico visibly gulped but nodded nonetheless.

"Okay." Percy answered. "We'll bring our friends too so that you can meet them too."

Soon the adults have their own conversation and their children have their own too. Percy felt his phone buzzed. He opens his phone and there's a text from Annabeth.

"How's the dinner?"

"It was nice actually. Everyone is happy about Mom and Charles."

"That's good to know then."

"Yeah, what are you doing?"

"Nothing, just lying on your bed, got tired from working on the blueprints."

"Aww, you and your work."

"Hey don't be like that. I can't promise that I can wait for you till you get home =(. I'm just too tired."

"Hey it's okay =). Get some sleep. Have you eaten already?"

"Yup."

"Okay then, I'll see you later. Sleep now."

"I will. I love you."

"I love you too."

Percy didn't notice that Artemis was asking him a question. He was startled when Kelsi elbowed him. "What?!"

"Gods Percy, Artemis already called your name thrice. Who are you texting anyway?"

Percy blushed deep red. "I'm sorry I didn't hear you." He apologized to Artemis.

Artemis just smiled at him. "I believe you're texting your girlfriend?"

"Yes." He replied timidly.

It was Nico's turn to embarrass his cousin. "They can't get enough of each other since they got back together." He teased. Percy glared at him but he just stuck his tongue at him.

Hera shook her head. It amuses her that their children sometimes don't act at their own age but it doesn't matter to her. At least they're living close to being normal in spite of all the responsibilities and attention that they carry since they were born.

Soon the dinner ended. Zeus offered that they have coffee at their home since they have still so much to talk about. Everyone agreed.

The night turned out to be okay. They parted ways after having coffee at Zeus' house. They decided that they should do it again before Hestia and Charles go back to Greece. They offered them to stay in New York but she said that she and Charles should discuss about it first.

Bianca and Hazel demanded to Nico that they need to meet his girlfriend before she goes back to Greece. He didn't have a choice but to agree. It's not like he doesn't want them to meet her. He's just so damn nervous about it.

When the three of them arrived at Nico'splace, the house is quiet. Looks like they all went early to sleep. They parted ways to their own room.

Percy slowly opens the door to the guest room. He saw Annabeth curled in the bed, deep in sleep. He smiled at the sight of his girlfriend. He stealthily walks inside the room to avoid making noise. He strips off his clothes until he was left with only his boxers.

He went to the bathroom to freshen up and brushed his teeth. Soon he joined Annabeth in the bed.

Annabeth shifted from her sleep when she felt someone joined her in the bed.

"Percy?" She asked groggily since the room was dark.

"Hey baby." Percy kissed her on the forehead. "Sorry to wake you up."

She snuggled closer to him. "What took you so long?" She whined.

Percy just chuckled. "Go back to sleep. We'll talk in the morning." He put his arms around her, shifting her slightly so that her head lies on his bare chest.

Annabeth looks at him for a second to give him a short kiss on the lips. She went back to her previous position and mumbled a goodnight.

"Goodnight, I love you." Percy whispered to her.

Percy has plan a surprise for her the next day. Thinking about it he smiled at the sleeping form of his girlfriend lying beside him. He kissed the top of her head before he finally let himself sleep.
