Chapter 58

Percy was content in sleeping at Allie's office. Miraculously he got there in time but unfortunately Calypso will be an hour late because of her prior commitment. He was slightly pissed that Allie didn't informed him but she just shrugged him off. So instead of mopping around he settled on sleeping in her office until Calypso arrived.

"Percy!" Allie hissed for the nth time. She's trying to wake him up because Calypso's manager texted her that they are on their way and probably will arrive 15 minutes later.

Percy didn't even bulge on his sleep. She was sitting on her table busy with paper works and Percy was asleep on the couch a few feet away from her. She's too tired to stand up. She's been awfully busy these past few days. She contemplates on aiming her stress ball on Percy to wake him up but she changed her mind.

"Percy! Wake up!" She shouted this time but to her dismay Percy just groaned and shifted in his sleep.

She resigned and was about to stand up when she heard a knock on the door. She yelled come in and waited. Nico came in smiling.

"Good Morning." He greeted and he scrunched his eyebrows upon seeing his cousin's sleeping form.

"Good Morning too." She rolled her eyes when Nico pointed at Percy's sleeping form. "He's sleeping like a rock. Apparently I can't get him to wake up by simply yelling at him."

Nico chuckled and settled for the single couch beside's Percy. He fished for his phone and snapped pictures of his cousin. He was smirking while he did so, capturing different angles of Percy's sleeping form. Allie was shaking her head at Nico.

"Really?" She asked amused. Nico just shrugged his shoulders and leaned comfortably on the couch when he was satisfied from all the pictures he took.

"What?" He grinned. "It will come handy for future use."

"I will never understand you two." Allie mumbled.

"Then don't." He teased. "Well I went to check on the studio and they informed me that the recording was moved at 11, why?"

"Well Calypso was running a little late."

"An hour?" He scrunched his eyebrows.

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Carrie (Calypso's Manager) just said that there's slight problem and she didn't elaborate. Well Percy got no other plans for today so I just agreed."

Nico snorted. "I bet he's pissed at that."

Allie rolled her eyes. "He's got nothing better to do anyways."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Wait, what are you even talking about?"

"Nothing." He smiled.

"Just wake him up then."

"Oh I don't have the heart too. He's sleeping peacefully." Nico teased.

Allie groaned.

"Fine." He chuckled. Then he has this evil idea on his head.

Allie eyed him curiously as he stands up and grabs a magazine on the coffee table. Her eyes got wide when unceremoniously Nico whacked the magazine on Percy's torso to wake him up. As expected Percy was so startled by the sudden force that hit him and he stumbled down from the couch.

He groaned when his body hit the carpeted floor. Allie and Nico burst out laughing. When it finally registered to Percy what just happened he glared at the two. "Really?" He asked annoyed, "Do you really need to do that?"

"Well Allie said you won't wake up so I settled with something that can definitely wake you up, see it work perfectly well." He just shrugged like it was no big deal.

Percy picked himself up and slump his body back on the couch. "I'll get back to you on that. Keep that in mind my dear cousin."

"Oh I'm scared.."

"Okay you two cut it out. Percy you need to freshen up, any minute now Calypso will arrive." Allie ordered.

Percy grumbled but obeyed nonetheless. He went to the bathroom to fix himself up. Nico just watched him amusedly on how easily he obeyed to Allie's order not just like when he was the one handling him personally.

"How do you manage to keep him following you that easy?"

"What can I say? I'm just good at my job."

Nico scoffed. "Got that right."

"So how long will we need to keep him out from the crowd?" She went back to studying the papers in front of her.

Nico stand up and went to sit in the chair opposite to her table. He picks up one of the documents and read it. He chuckled when he finished reading it.

"I bet these things were giving you headaches already."

Allie groaned. "You have no idea. Every single day, emails, phone calls, texts… God they won't stop until we finally gave in. What does your dad say about this matter anyway? Can we just release a statement to the press?"

"Well we can actually do that, but Uncle P won't let us. He and Dad already talked and surprisingly Dad agreed with him. They say that it is better to keep quiet for now since it is a legal matter."

Allie nodded her head. "Okay then, I just need to ignore all of these. But don't you think we owe it to everyone to at least say something about Percy's condition, especially to his fans?"

"I'll talk to them about that."

"When will be the first hearing?"

"I don't know yet but I'll talk to them soon. Atty. Smith will inform us right away anyway."

"So does Percy talk to you about Jason's request? You know, about him wanted to talk to Percy?"

Nico shook his head. "He hasn't actually because he didn't know about that request. Remember Uncle P doesn't want him to know because he's probably go and talk to him without a second thought. And besides he's been busy."

"Don't you think he deserves to know? He's old enough to decide. And he's busy with what?"

Percy chose that moment to get out of the bathroom. "Who's busy?"

Allie and Nico look at him. Nico answered his question. "You, you're busy with a lot of things so better get your ass to the recording studio before Calypso beat you there. Come on."

Percy rolled his eyes but he was heading towards the door already. Nico followed him. "Hey you're not coming?" He asked to Allie.

"Go ahead I'll catch up later. I just need to finish something first." She waved them off.

Percy pouted. "Oh come on, you know I need you right there."

She snorted. "Oh please, we both know that you're perfectly capable of being alone with her."

For some reason, Percy blush a deep shade of red. "Hey that was not nice at all."

Nico chuckled and put his arm around his shoulders to drag him out of the room. "Oh come on you little wimp. Calypso won't bite you and besides I'll be there to support you."

"You damn know what I am talking about." Percy hissed at Nico.

"I know and don't worry Annabeth trusts you so don't worry about a thing."

"It's just that.." He tried to reason out.

"Perce, come on. I know it will be awkward again especially since that incident in the hospital and with Annabeth's reaction on that but she knows that you need to work with her and you're not doing something wrong."

Percy relaxed a bit. "I guess you're right. We're friends again anyway."

"That's right, so come on." They head towards the elevator.

Percy's rehearsing his lines on the song when Calypso and Carrie arrived.

Percy and Nico stand up as they greet them. Calypso kissed Percy's cheek before saying her apologies for being late. Percy didn't fail to notice Nico's reaction with the gesture. She smiled at Nico and greeted him too.

They let Calypso rest for a bit as Carrie explained to Nico why they were late. Nico just listened intently. They know how Nico was so strict being on time. He accepted their explanation.

Percy and Calypso started practicing their song first before they officially begin recording it. Nico just watched them and smiling a little when one of them messes up. Then Nico noticed something and he can't help but be suspicious. He watched them more intently just as his phone startrd ringing.

It was Thalia who's calling him. "Hey babe."

They've already arrived at the building. Nico excused himself to go and meet them. Just as he was heading out Allie entered at the same time. They accidentally bumped at each other.

"Whoah careful guys!" Percy called out when he saw the two collided.

"Sorry." Nico apologized as he steadied them.

"It's fine." Allie mumbled. "Why are you in such a hurry anyway?"

"I just need to go down right away."

Allie raised an eyebrow at him but didn't question any further. Nico exited the room and she makes way towards Percy and Calypso. She greeted Carrie who's busy with her phone and she smiled back in return.

"Hi Allie." Calypso cheerfully greeted her.

"Hello." Allie greeted back unsure. She plops down next to Percy.

"Finish with all the paper works?" He asked her smiling.

"Yes thankfully." Percy chuckled and bumps her with his shoulder.

Just then the crew informed Percy and Calypso that they were about to start recording. They get up and started heading towards the recording booth when Allie called out a good luck to Percy which earned him a laugh from the crew.

She grinned at Percy while he glared at her. Calypso on the other hand has a curious look on her face.

"What was that all about?" She asked him once they were inside.

Percy just smiled at her. "Allie's just teasing."

"Oh okay." Calypso replied unsurely.

"Ready?"

"Yeah."

So they started recording.

LINEBREAK

Nico saw his girlfriend and their friends as he stepped out of the elevator.

"Hey guys!" He called to them.

They snapped their heads to his direction. He noticed that some of their friends were missing. Connor, Travis, Chris and Leo were missing.

"Where are the others?" He asked as he kissed Thalia on the cheek.

Clarisse rolled her eyes. "They decided to pass they said they'd rather stay behind and play ball, stupid boys!"

"Really? Not fan of tour then?" Nico asked amused. "What about you then?" He turned to his cousin.

"Well." Charles started and he can feel his girlfriend's gaze on him beside him. "I wanted to stay behind but why chose them instead of being with my girlfriend."

Beside him Silena scoffed. "Nice answer." He rolled his eyes on her but put his arm around her shoulders.

"So what do you guys want to do first? A tour or watch Percy?" Nico asked them as he gestured them to follow him.

"They started recording already?" Annabeth asked.

"Yes, they just started a while ago."

"Then we should go there first." Thalia stated. "I'm sure Annie here misses her boyfriend already."

Annabeth snorted. "Whatever."

"Nice building by the way." Reyna admired.

"Oh thanks. Not much compared to the one in LA but I liked it in here." Nico explained. He intertwined his fingers with Thalia as they headed inside.

Along the way they were greeted with some of the employees and they were surprised to see their boss holding hand with someone. They were given curious looks but most especially to Thalia.

Once they were inside the elevator, "Okay what's with the looks they're giving us?" She asked Nico.

Nico chuckled. "What?"

"They creeps me out."

"They were probably wondering who we are Thals, especially you. You're holding hands with their boss and they were definitely curious to who you are."

Beside her Nico turned pale for a second and unlucky Clarisse noticed him. "You alright there Nico?" She asked smirking.

"But of course." He was saved by the dinging of the elevator. He stepped out of the elevator and let go of Thalia's hand. She scrunched her eyebrows by the sudden loss of comfort on her hand. She didn't question him though.

"So there's two recording studio on this floor." Nico explained to them. He pointed to the both ends of the floor.

"So where's Percy then?" Charles asked.

"Right there." Nico pointed to the one on the right side. "Taylor was using the one on the left side."

"Taylor? Taylor Swift?" Silena asked.

"Yup."

"Oh my gods, I love her. Can I get to meet her?" Silena asked excitedly.

"Whoah Princess don't get too excited." Clarisse teased her.

"Sure I guess. But I need to check first. Percy's a good friend of her by the way." Nico explained.

"Really?" Annabeth asked. "He didn't tell me."

"Maybe he thought it's not important. Percy rarely talks about who are his friends on this business." Nico explained.

"Babe come on let's go to Percy." Thalia demanded while she wrapped her arm on Nico's waist.

Nico blushed by the sudden gesture of Thalia seeing that a couple of his employees' passes by.

Some of their friends smirked at Nico. They were amused at Nico's behavior.

"Hey." Katie nudged Annabeth. "You're being quiet, are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah of course." Annabeth stammered.

"You're nervous. Just relax will you?" Katie offered. She squeezed Annabeth's hand for support.

Annabeth didn't really know why she was so nervous on meeting Calypso.

Nico opens the door for them. The room was big. Half of it was a lounging area and there's another two doors leading to the studio or live room and the other is to the control room. A glass wall was separating the control room and the lounging area. Allie and Carrie were inside the control room with the sound engineers. They didn't notice them yet.

Nico excused himself to them as he enters the control room. Allie smiled at him. Nico whispered something to Allie and for a while Allie looked at them. She nodded her head and Nico came back out.

"Okay guys come on in."

Allie and Carrie smiled at them as they quietly enter the room. Percy and Calypso were on the middle of recording. When it was Percy's turn to sing his part, for some unknown reason he suddenly went into a coughing fit. They stop the music as he tried to calm himself.

Annabeth stiffened when she saw Calypso rubs the back of Percy and her other hand rests on his bicep. Their friends shot her a worried look. Even Nico looked at her. Allie excused herself to go and check on Percy. Calypso requested a 15 minutes break.

They saw Allie entered the live room and gave Percy a bottled water to drink. They saw her whisper something to Percy and that's their cue to go out of the control room.

Percy was drinking his water on his way out of the room followed by Calypso and Allie. He almost spit the water on his mouth when he saw who his visitors were.

"You're here." He exclaimed and then he locked eyes with Annabeth. His smiled widen and went straight to Annabeth and hug her tightly. He pulled away after but not totally pulling away.

Annabeth's hands were loop around his neck. His hands were on Annabeth's waist not minding the fact that there are others inside the room.

"I thought you said you don't want to go?"

"Surprise?" She said unsurely.

"Well I am surprised and happy." He said grinning and kissed her lips.

Gasps were heard inside the room. Percy and Annabeth pulled away from each other and they saw Allie with wide eyes. Calypso was shocked too and for a while Annabeth somewhat saw sadness in her eyes. They looked at their friends and they were smirking.

"W-What just happened?" Allie asked directly to Percy.

Percy rubs the back of his head. He grabs Annabeth's hand and pulled her towards Allie and Calypso.

"Um.." He started. "Allie, Calypso I want you to meet Annabeth, my girlfriend." He said proudly while squeezing Annabeth's hand.

For a while Allie's jaw drop but then she surprised them by squealing and hugging Annabeth who in return was too shocked to react.

"Congratulations." She said to Percy when she finally let go of Annabeth. "She's beautiful." She whispered to him.

Percy chuckled by Allie's reaction. "Don't get too excited." He teased as he hugged her. "But thank you." He smiled.

Annabeth turned to Calypso to shake her hand. She was nervous as hell and she can definitely tell that she is too.

"Hi nice to meet you." She offered her hand.

Calypso hesitantly shakes her hand. "You too." She sadly smiles at her. She turned to look at Percy. "I'm happy for you."

Percy smiled at her. "Thanks."

"Hey Percy you want to introduce us too?" Clarisse said smirking. "We're here too you know." She said sarcastically.

"Oh Hades I'm sorry." Percy apologized. Nico glared at him for using his father's name to swear.

"Guys I want you to meet Allie, she's my manager and Calypso, well you definitely know who she is."

"We totally do." Thalia replied sarcastically which earned her a glare from Annabeth."

Percy ignored her anyways.

"So these are our friends from Greece." He started pointing to them as he introduced them. "Clarisse, Reyna, Katie, Silena, Charles and.." He cut himself off and smirked at Nico. "Nico, why don't you introduce her to them?"

Nico glared at him for a moment but then he saw how Thalia was studying him. Before his girlfriend got mad at him he put his arm around her.

"Allie, Calypso meet my special friend Thalia."

"What?" Thalia exclaimed. "Special friend? Is that how I am to you now?" She pushed his arm away from her.

"Oh you're in big trouble." Percy mumbled.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry please don't get mad at me. I was just too nervous." Nico tried to explain. "She's my girlfriend."

Allie was smirking at him. "Wow I'm surprised." She turned to Thalia and hugged her too. "It's nice to meet you. And forgive his rudeness. He's such an idiot sometimes."

"Hey!" Nico protested.

Allie turned to him. "Sorry boss." She teased. "But I'm happy that you finally got yourself a girlfriend."

Nico groaned. Percy patted his back and turned to Annabeth to kiss her forehead and put his arm around her.

Thalia shook Calypso's hand.

Calypso excused herself to them. Annabeth eyed her curiously and she's pretty sure that their friends did too. She went inside the control room to talk to her manager.

"Did you guys hear us recording?" Percy asked.

"Yeah right at the moment you went to a coughing fit." Charles teased.

Percy blushes a little. "Oh you got a great timing."

They laugh at him.

"What happened back in there anyway?" Annabeth asked concerned.

"Yeah Percy, Calypso got a little worried back there." Thalia teased at him. Annabeth nudged her on her side. Nico was looking at her bewildered.

She stuck her tongue out to Annabeth but glared daggers at Nico. She's a little upset at him.

"I really don't know. It just happened."

"You sure you don't feel anything different?" Allie asked.

"Yes positive."

Calypso stepped out of the control room and informed Percy that their fifteen minutes break was over.

Percy said his thanks and Calypso entered the room after she smiled to all of them.

"Guess I should be heading back there." He stated. He kissed Annabeth on the cheek before he followed Calypso.

"You two are so cute together." Allie smiled at Annabeth.

"Thank you."

"Come on guys let's go to the control room so we can hear them recording."

LINEBREAK

After Percy and Calypso finally finished recording they praised them for doing a great job.

"So what are you guys want to do now?" Nico asked them.

"Let's just go home." Thalia declared.

"I thought you guys wanted to tour around the office?"

"We changed our minds, right guys?" She raised her eyebrow on them.

"Yeah."

"Ah okay then. I'll just go with you then since I've nothing to do here anyway. Ride with me?" He asked Thalia.

"No."

"Why not?"

"Just don't feel like it." Thalia stated. "I'll wait for you guys outside." And then she stormed out of the room.

"Oh someone's in trouble." Clarisse smirked.

"Oh great!" Nico muttered. He was about to follow Thalia but one of the engineers called him and Percy.

"Go on, we will check on her." Silena said.

"Do you want me to accompany you instead?" Charles offered.

"No it's okay. Thanks anyway. I'll see you guys back at the house." He stated and entered the control room.

"Your cousin is an idiot." Annabeth mumbled to Percy.

Percy chuckled. "I know, so how about you? Will you ride with me then?"

Annabeth pretended to think before she smiled. "But of course dummy."

"For a while I thought you're going to turn me down too."

"I can do that if you want to." She teased.

Percy pouted and she can't help but chuckle. "I'm just kidding. Now go back there inside. I'll just wait for you here."

Percy grinned at her and kissed her on the cheek. He waved goodbye to the others before finally entering the control room.

"See you back in the house then Annabeth." Charles said. She nodded and they waved goodbye to her.

She settled back on the couch and played with her phone.

After some time someone came out of the room and it was Calypso. She smiled timidly at her before deciding to sit beside her on the couch.

"Hey." Calypso greeted.

Annabeth just smiled at her.

"So you two are just new? I mean you and Percy dating?"

Annabeth was slightly taken aback by her sudden question. "Not really." She answered anyway.

Calypso scrunched her eyebrows and looked at her. "What do you mean?"

"It's a little complicated." She answered curtly and she doesn't want to further explain.

Calypso noticed it. "Oh okay. You're lucky you know that.." She was cut off when the others get out from the control room.

Percy noticed them talking. "What's up?" He asked curiously.

"Oh nothing I was just talking to her about something." Calypso explained.

Percy nodded and turned his attention to Annabeth.

"Ready to go baby?"

Annabeth can't help but beamed on how Percy is not afraid of showing affection in front of others and especially to his ex girlfriend.

"Yes." She grinned. She also saw Allie trying to bit back a smile for some reason.

"Bye Calypso." Percy said to her. Annabeth, Nico and Allie did the same too.

"Hey guys I'm going to head upstairs to get some of my things." Nico informed them.

"Okay."

"I'll just see you back there."

Nico heads towards the other elevator. The three of them waited for the other one that will take them to the ground floor.

"We'll need to go to Allie's office first before we go." He told Annabeth. She just nodded.

They entered Allie's office. Annabeth settled on the couch while Allie and Percy talked at her table.

She didn't wait long though. Percy said they will be going and they waved goodbye to Allie who gave her another hug before they go.

"She likes you." Percy stated to her smiling.

"Yeah, I felt relieved."

"What do you mean you felt relieved?"

"Nothing, I'm just being paranoid. Just forget about it."

Percy didn't push her. Instead he intertwined their hands. She smiled at him. It didn't go unnoticed by her when they were given curious looks just like Thalia nd Nico received a while ago. She just ignored them. Deep inside she's happy that Percy was so proud of showing her around.

They arrived at the parking lot and Percy opened the door for her. "Here you go."

She smiled at him. She was about to hop in when he stops her. "What?"

Percy leaned down to give her a passionate kiss. She felt dizzy after their kiss. She rests her forehead against his. "What was that for?"

"For last night and just want to thank you for being here with me now. It means a lot to me."

She hugs him instead of replying. Percy hugged her back and kissed the top of her head.

"Percy."

They pulled away at the same time to see who called him.

"B! Hazel!" Percy exclaimed when he saw both of his cousins.

He smiled at Annabeth before she let him go to greet his cousins properly.

They were parked two cars away from them.

"What are you guys doing here?" Percy asked as he gave them both a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh we're just going to visit Nico and talk about that dinner that he promised." Bianca answered.

"Oh he's probably on his way down. We will go to his house to hang out. We're both free for the rest of the day."

"Oh I see."

"Is she your girlfriend?" Hazel asked.

They turned to look at Annabeth who is now sitting inside the car.

Percy turned to look at them. "Yes she is." He smiled. "Come on I'll introduce you to her."

The three of them went back to his car. Annabeth saw them coming so she stepped out of the car to greet them. She smiled at them and both Hazel and Bianca smile in return.

"B, Hazel this is Annabeth, my girlfriend."

"Hi." Annabeth greeted shyly. She offered her hand but in return they gave her a hug.

"It's great to finally meet you." Bianca said comfortingly.

"It's nice to finally meet the girl that makes our cousin a love struck idiot." She joked.

Percy blushed but he grinned at Annabeth.

"Well there's no doubt about that she's beautiful." Bianca praised her and it's Annabeth's turn to blushed.

"So you guys are coming with us?" Percy asked.

"What do you think Hazel?"

"Sounds good to me."

"Okay then. I'll just inform Nico that you're going to his house too."

"No!"

"Why?" Percy asked confused as he put his phone down.

"We want to surprise him." Bianca explained.

Percy chuckled. "Alright then. And oh by the way Nico's girlfriend will be there, so you're going to finally meet the girl who is your little brother is so in love with."

Hazel and Bianca looked at each other then grinned.

"Okay then. We will see you there." Bianca stated and they waved goodbye to them.

"Are you not really going to tell Nico that his two sisters are heading to his place?"

Percy shook his head smiling. "What? It's going to be fun."

"You saw what happened earlier, Thalia is a little upset with him."

Percy rolled his eyes. "Don't worry too much. Nico can handle it or not." He chuckled.

Annabeth shook her head as she hop in the car. Percy closed her door before making his way to the driver's side.

Minutes later they arrived at Nico's house. They were just getting out when Bianca and Hazel arrived.

They all went inside the house. They heard noises on the living room so Percy gestured them to follow him.

"Hey guys!" He greeted their friends.

All heads snapped to him and then to the two new faces.

"Guys these are Bianca and Hazel, Nico's sisters."

Thalia paled when she heard Percy introduced the two.

"Hi guys!" Bianca and Hazel greeted.

"Hi!"

"Hello!"

"So tell me who's Nico's girlfriend?" Bianca asked to the group.

And that's when coincidently Nico arrived at the house.

"Bianca! Hazel!" He squeaked when he saw his siblings. "What are you guys doing here?"

"To visit you of course."

The two make their way to Nico and they both gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"So brother." Bianca called a little too sweet. "Which one of them is your girlfriend?"
