Chapter 63
Percy is at Allie's office. Currently they are arguing about something.
"Oh come on Allie, are you being serious?!" Percy whined. "We've already talked about this a dozen times."
"I know Percy. Don't you think I don't remember that? I'm doing the best I can but there's nothing more I could do. I'm so sorry." Allie tries to reason out.
Percy runs his hand on his hair frustrated. "Good gods I'm in so much trouble now."
It's been 3 months since Annabeth and the rest of the gang went home to Greece. And it's been 3 months since Percy last saw her.
Now the problem is, he promised Annabeth that he was going to see her the moment the case was closed and it's been 2 months already after that. Jason already got the punishment he deserved. He was sentenced to at least 10 years in prison.
And now it's been 2 freaking months, Annabeth is not happy about it. Of course she understands that he's busy in his career but she can't help but to feel down about it. She misses him so much but she can't also leave her work again. There's been so much work to do and even Thalia can't do anything to give her permission to take a leave.
"I'm sorry. Just one more week and you're off the hook for a month."
"That's what you've been saying for the…"
"I know." Allie cut him off. "But this time I promise you, you will get that vacation that you've been asking and I'm sure Annabeth will be happy to hear that." She tries to cheer him up.
But Percy just glared at her. "She's mad at me you know that."
"But if you told her that.."
"No, she'll not believe me this time. I've lost count telling her that excuse and she will not believe me anymore."
Allie looks at him sympathetically. "I'm sorry, you know that if there's something I could do about it, I will do it right?" She put her hand on top of his on the table. She squeezed it to comfort him.
Percy smiled weakly at her. "I know. I'm sorry for blaming it all to you."
"It's okay. I know you misses her so much."
Percy chuckled. "You have no idea. I'm beginning to lose my mind already. She's giving me the cold treatment you know."
Allie scrunched her eyebrows. "I thought she understand how your work is?"
"She does." Percy replied immediately. "But you can't blame her for feeling like that. I've been giving her false hope for a long time now and add the fact that our music video was released yesterday. She's somewhat furious about it."
Allie chuckled. "Can't blame her though, it was intense." She paused. "Err passionate I might add, and she's your ex. If I were her I will be jealous too even if I know there's nothing going on between you two."
Percy let out a deep sigh. "I know."
"She'll get over it once she sees you."
Percy groaned. "But not for another week." He whined again. "What if she got tired of waiting for me and then she'll dump me."
Allie laughs at him.
He glared at her. "It's not funny."
Nico chose to enter the office without knocking on the door. "What's not funny?"
Allie and Percy turned to look at him.
"Don't you know how to knock?" Allie scolded him even if he is her boss.
Nico just shrugged and sit opposite of Percy. Percy on the other hand is glaring at him.
"What?" He asks him. "Why are you glaring at me?"
"It's because you book him for another week even if he asks you not too." Allie explained.
"Not my fault." Nico dismissed it. "It was Dad's."
"You could have said something!" Percy growled at him.
"There's nothing I could do. Sorry." But he doesn't sound sorry at all.
"You jerk!"
"Okay!" Allie butted in before it gets worst. "Calm down Percy. Now what can I do for you?" She turned her attention to Nico.
"Whatever. I'm leaving." Percy declared. He stands up from his seat ready to leave.
"Be early tomorrow, okay?" Allie reminded him.
Percy just nodded his head.
"Hey and don't forget tonight, we will be meeting our cousins."
"I know!" Percy cutted Nico. "I'll see you there." He said without looking back before disappearing behind the door.
Nico chuckled at his cousin's behavior. Allie glared at him.
"You shouldn't make fun of him. You know he misses his girlfriend so much."
"Hey!" Nico protested. "My girlfriend is in Greece too. And I'm not throwing a fit about it. I haven't seen her in months too."
"And I wonder why?" Allie narrowed her eyes on him.
Nico stiffened. He composed himself before answering her. "Because I'm more mature than him, I can handle it better."
Allie wasn't convinced though.
Instead of waiting for her to say something, he handed her the paper works. "I need it ASAP." He said before standing up to leave the room. Allie just watched him shaking her head.
LINEBREAK
The Big Three's children were currently at Apollo's bar. It's been kind of a tradition for them to at least get together once a month. Apollo, Artemis, Bianca, Hazel, Nico and Percy were currently drinking. Kelsi of course was not present since she's a minor and Charles was in Greece.
"Okay what's up with you two?" Artemis asked when she noticed the scowl on Percy's face and the occasional glare that he's throwing at Nico.
"He's blaming me for his hectic schedule." Nico answered.
"Because it is really your fault." Percy said pointedly.
"Business is business Percy, you should know that already." Nico stated. "You're going to see her in a week, why are you still complaining?"
"Nico." Bianca chastised.
"How can you act just like that?" Percy asks tilting his head to look at him. "Aren't you feeling the same way as me? You haven't seen Thalia in months and you act as if it doesn't matter at all."
"Of course it matters to me. I miss her too but unlike some, I don't whine about it like a little kid." Nico replied as he took a big gulp on his beer.
Percy was about to lunge at his cousin, luckily Apollo restrain him who was currently sitting in between them.
"Whoa easy there tiger." Apollo chuckled. "Calm down. He's just messing with you."
The three girls just watch them amusedly.
"Why haven't you visited Thalia, Nico?" Hazel asked.
"Yeah, compared to Percy, you can easily visit her." Artemis added.
Nico paled a little bit. "Well.." He started scratching the back of his head.
Bianca burst out laughing much to their amusement. They waited until she stops laughing. She wipes the tears that escaped from her eyes for too much laughing. When she calmed down, she looks at her brother and smiles smugly at him.
"So?" Apollo prompted.
"Well I've recently hanged out with Silena before she went back to Greece…" She started.
"You've been hanging out with Silena?" Percy asks.
"Yes." Bianca answered. "The three of us actually hang out with her a couple of times."
"Yup." Artemis added. "She's fun to hang out with and not to mention that she's Charles' girlfriend. She's basically a family now."
"And what does it has to do with me?" Nico asks confused.
"Well…" Bianca smirked at him. "Silena said that you and Thalia are fighting about…"
"Stop!" Nico cut her off. He realized what Bianca was about to say. "Don't!" He threatened her.
Bianca just stuck her tongue out at him. "Why not, it's hilarious."
"Please." He pleaded. Percy and Apollo will make fun of him about it.
"He's afraid to meet Thalia's family that's why he's making excuses as not to visit her." Bianca still continued despite Nico's protest.
Nico groaned and banged his head on the table. His cousins laugh at him.
"Oh so that's the reason why?" Percy smirked at his cousin's form, momentarily forgetting that he's annoyed at him.
"Silena said that Nico promised to Thalia that he's going to meet her family once he visits her. But whenever Thalia asks him when he's going to visit her, he always has an excuse." Bianca added.
"And Thalia found out that he's just been giving excuse as not to meet her family." Artemis guessed.
"Correct." Bianca stated smiling.
"That was not nice Nico." Hazel scolded him.
"What are you so afraid of?" Apollo asked looking amused. "You've got nothing to hide and you're a well established man."
"It's not just that." Nico answered finally picking his head up to look at his cousins and sisters.
"He's afraid." Percy voiced it out for him. There's no trace of sarcasm with it.
Nico thanked him silently for not laughing at him. "There he said it." He admitted.
"Awww." The girls cooed.
He looks at them confusedly.
"That's because you're afraid that her parents will not approve of you. That's so sweet." Artemis said.
"I don't think I'm following you."
"You're afraid that you're going to lose her if they didn't approve of you." Hazel explained it further.
"Nah I think he's just plain afraid." Apollo teased.
Bianca smacked him at the back of his head. "You're not helping."
Apollo burst out laughing. Percy just shakes his head suppressing a smile.
"Sorry bro, I know that you're afraid but hey you'll never know unless you go and see her." Apollo advised.
"Hey we can go together next week, if you like." Percy suggested.
"That's not a bad idea." Artemis approved.
"I don't know." Nico groaned. "I don't know if I'll be ready to meet them. I'm just so afraid."
"Oh come on. For gods sake what are you so afraid of?" Apollo demanded.
"I don't know. I never had any experience about it. What if I make a fool of myself? What if I'll mess it up so bad and they'll force her to break up with me? What if…"
"Okay that's enough." Hazel cut him off. "Just be yourself, and I'm sure they're going to like you."
Bianca went to sit beside her younger brother. "What are you so afraid of? You're a good guy. You've got a nice job. You've got a great personality. You're handsome…"
"You're rich." Apollo added teasingly.
The girls glared at him.
"What we are trying to say is you've got nothing to be afraid of. You've got everything a girl would ask for. Thalia is lucky to have you." Hazel added.
"Thank you guys for trying to boost my ego." He said chuckling.
Bianca smacked him in the head.
"Aww!"
"Don't let it get to your head."
"Seriously though, just be yourself. That's what I did when I met Annabeth's family." Percy said.
Nico let out a deep sigh. "Okay. I guess I can meet her family now."
"That's the spirit." Apollo stated smacking his arm.
"Okay then it's settled." Percy said smiling. "You and I are going to Greece next week. We will surprise them both."
Nico nodded his head.
"How about we come with you guys?" Bianca asks. "So that we can finally visit Greece and we can see Aunt Hestia and Charles too."
"Hey that's not a bad idea." Hazel agreed.
"I'm in." Artemis smiled. "I can take a vacation for a week."
"Me too." Hazel and Bianca stated.
"Arghh." Apollo whined. "I can't. Chloe and I got a lot of things to do, seeing that the wedding will be in 2 months."
"Oh come on, a week won't hurt." Artemis suggested. "Besides we all know that you two deserve some vacation too. Actually all of us deserve it."
"I'll talk to her about it."
"That's more like it." Bianca said.
"That's settled then. Whose plain are we going to take then?" Percy asks.
"We can take ours." Apollo suggested.
"Okay."
"I'm so excited. I'll bet they're going to be so surprise." Bianca exclaimed.
"Duh, you're just excited to see Connor." Percy teased.
"Huh, Connor and I are just friends Percy."
The boys just laugh at her.
"I'm serious." She said exasperated. "Connor is dating someone now."
"What?!"
"Of course you don't know." She said pertaining to Percy. ""You've been too busy to check on your friends."
Percy scratched the back of his neck. "Guilty." He confessed.
Bianca just shook her head.
"So are you okay?" Nico asks.
Bianca rolled her eyes on them. "Of course I am. We've just flirted when he was here but that's just it. We never got pass that."
"If you say so." Nico stated.
"Besides I'm not ready for anything too serious right now."
"Oh really?" Artemis teased.
"Yeah really." Bianca mocked.
For the rest of the night they've talked about their plan to go to Greece. Apollo called Chloe to give her the news and surprisingly she agreed immediately. They're just going to inform their parents if they wanted to come since they've talked about visiting Greece last time they had their family dinner.
The following morning Percy called Annabeth while he was at the airport waiting for his flight that will take him to Las Vegas. He'll be having a series of mini concerts there. At some point Calypso will be joining him.
He checked his watch and it's just 7 in the morning, so it means it's just 2 in the afternoon at Athens.
It took a couple of rings before she finally picks up her phone. "Hello?"
"Hey baby." He greeted.
"Hey." She greeted back.
"How are you?"
"I'm fine." She said curtly.
"Still mad at me?" He asks.
She kept quiet for a while. Then he heard her let out a deep sigh.
"What time are you leaving?"
"I'm at the airport right now."
"Oh okay."
"I miss you so much."
"I miss you too." She said softly.
"I'm so sorry."
"Percy."
"Please don't be mad at me anymore. I'm going to see you soon. I promise."
"Just don't make promises you can't keep." She said tiredly.
"Baby."
"Listen I've got to go. I'm meeting a client in 10 minutes. Stay safe okay?"
"I will. Take care of yourself."
"Don't worry about me."
"You know I always worry about you."
"I know. I've got to go now. They're looking for me."
"Okay. I love you."
"I love you too." The line went dead after that.
At least she said it back, he comforted himself.
"Are you okay?" Allie asks beside him.
"Yeah I'm fine." He lied.
"Just one more week." She patted his back. "And then you're going to see her and you're going to spend 1 whole month with her.
He smiled at her sadly. One more week.
LINEBREAK
A week later, Apollo, Chloe, Artemis, Hazel, Bianca, Nico, Percy, Sally and Kelsi are at the airport waiting for their flight to Patras, Greece. Only Sally and Kelsi can accompany them. The Big Three can't make it because they've got a lot in their hands right now. They can't leave their work much to their children's dismay. It wasn't a good time for them but they've promised that they'll make it up next time.
"It's going to be a long flight." Percy said to them.
"Urg." Hazel groaned. She hates flying.
"It's alright Haze." Kelsi hugged her from her side. "If you feel like puking, just puke on Nico or Percy." She grinned mischievously.
Nico and Percy glared at her.
"Kelsi." Sally warned her. She turned to her son. "So they really don't know that we're coming to see them?"
Percy grinned at her. "Yup."
"This is so exciting!" Kesli exclaimed who can't keep still from her excitement.
"Calm down kiddo." Apollo teased her.
Kelsi just stuck her tongue at him.
Chloe sits beside him. "I'm glad that we're taking a vacation. I'm too exhausted for all the preparations." She rests her head on Apollo's shoulder.
He kissed the top of her head. "Yeah, I'm glad too." He put his arm around her to make her more comfortable.
Kelsi snapped a picture of them. "Aww you two look so cute." She cooed.
The couple just smiled at her.
Kelsi then turned to Percy and Nico who seemed to be quiet the whole time.
"How about you two? Are you excited? You've been too quiet." She teased.
"Leave us alone." Percy snarled at her.
"They're probably thinking of a good excuse to their girlfriends who might kill them when they see them." Bianca teased.
"Bianca!" Nico protested.
"Oh right, Nico's afraid to meet Thalia's family."
"Kelsi, that's enough." Sally scolded her again. "Just come here sit beside me." She ordered.
Kelsi pouted but smirked at his brother and cousin before finally settling down beside her mom.
After an hour they finally boarded on their private plane that will take them to Patras, Greece.

After almost 11 hours of flight they finally reach Patras, Greece.
"Wow." Kelsi admired as they step down from the plane.
It's almost lunch time. They decided to take a lunch at the airport.
After they finished their lunch, they went to rent a car. They got two cars so that they'll be comfortable even if the drive will be an hour only and besides Nico and Percy need a car to get to Athens.
Nico took the car 1st car with him are Hazel, Bianca, Chloe and Apollo. Percy drives the 2nd one with him are Sally, Kelsi and Artemis.
They went straight to Hestia's home. Percy called Leo at the airport to ask him where his mom is.
After an hour they finally reach their destination. The house is quiet. Percy noticed that Charles' car is not in the garage. He's probably at work.
His cousins were mesmerized by the beauty of the place.
"Wow, this place is so beautiful." Artemis admired looking at the place.
"So cool." Kelsi stated looking at the beach.
"Come on guys." Percy urged them.
They left their belongings in the car as they head towards the door.
Percy rings the doorbell. He heard his mom.
A couple of seconds, Hestia came out of the door.
"Oh my gods!" She exclaimed when she sees Percy. She hugs him tightly and then she noticed the others.
She smiled so wide as she gave them a hug one by one.
"I can't believe you're here." Hestia stated once they all settled inside.
"We want to surprise you." Percy said as he kissed the top of her head.
Hestia holds his hand. "You should have told me so I would have prepared something."
"Nonsense." Sally said smiling. "We are your family. Just don't worry too much."
"You've got a beautiful home, Aunt." Bianca stated smiling at her.
"Thank you. This is not much. Hope you guys are comfortable to stay here."
"But of course Aunt H." Apollo exclaimed making his way to sit beside Hestia. He put his arm around her. "Nothing to worry about, we can sleep anywhere. Artemis can even sleep on the floor."
"Hey!"
Hestia chuckled. "No one's going to sleep on the floor."
"And besides these two.." Apollo gestured to Nico and Percy. "Are heading to Athens later."
"Oh."
Percy smiled at her.
"Does Annabeth and Thalia know that you guys are coming here?"
They shook their heads.
"They wanted to surprise them because they've got a lot of things to make up for." Bianca informed her.
Hestia smiled. "I know. Charles said it to me. Thalia and Annabeth are somewhat mad at you especially when Silena got home a week ago."
"Silena is here?" Percy asks.
"Even we know." Hazel stated.
"She's going to be here for a while according to Charles." Hestia said.
"Oh that's great then. I bet Charles was so happy to hear that."
"Yeah, but he's been a little nervous lately. I don't know what's wrong with him. When I ask him, he just said that he's stressed at work."
Nico, Percy and Hazel look at each other. They smiled knowingly.
After an hour, Nico and Percy said their goodbyes to go to Athens.
"Are you sure you guys can still drive? Aren't you tired of the flight?" Sally asks.
"You can go there early tomorrow." Hestia suggested.
"We're fine." Percy reassured them. "It's just a two hour drive."
"Besides we can take turn to drive." Nico added.
"Let them be Aunt." Bianca said as they joined them outside. "You can't stop them."
"Yeah." Kelsi butted in. "They're dying to see their girlfriend." She teased.
The two just laugh. They kissed Hestia and Sally before they hop in. They waved at them before they finally drive away.
LINEBREAK
2 hours later, Nico and Percy arrived at Athens. They went straight to where Thalia and Annabeth's work.
They stayed in the car a little bit looking at the building. It was a 10th story building. The letter G was at the center of the building signifying the Grace family. There were a couple of employees walking in and out of the building.
"Ready?" Percy asks Nico who's a little pale right now. Percy chuckled at the sight of his cousin.
"Take a deep breath." Percy suggested.
Nico let out a couple of deep breaths. "She's going to kill me when she sees me."
"Of course not."
"Yes she will." He said a bit louder. "She just snarled at me on the phone a while ago."
"That's because she doesn't know that you're here."
"I just hope you're right."
"I am." He chuckled.
They both composed themselves before they finally hop out of the car.
Even when they are both dressed casually people can't help but stare at them. The two look good.
Nico was wearing a white shirt, black jeans and white converse shoes. He's wearing a Rayban shades too.
Percy on the other hand was wearing a green shirt, faded blue jeans and nike shoes. He's wearing a baseball cap too.
The two went straight to the lobby asking for Thalia and Annabeth. They ignored the looks that they were receiving especially from the ladies. Percy didn't know if they can still remember him. It's been a while since he set foot in here.
They were told to go on the 7th floor. The two were both quiet as they entered the elevator. Luckily it was just them.
The two smiled at each other. "We can do this."
"Just shout if Thalia's going to kill you." Percy joked.
"Ha ha."
The elevator dinged signaling that they reached their floor.
They step out and scan the surrounding. This is not Percy's first time in Annabeth's office. He knows exactly where it is.
Annabeth and Thalia's office are at the opposite side. Nico knew it too since he's been here once.
They patted each other's back before heading towards the opposite side.
Not far away, Percy sees Annabeth's secretary. Her name is Carly. He met her already. He's not sure if she still remembers him.
He walks straight to her.
Percy's POV
"Excuse me miss."
Carly turns her attention at me. "Yes?"
"Is Miss Chase here?"
"She's currently at a meeting Sir."
"Oh, is it going to take a while?"
"Maybe a couple of minute's Sir. May I know your name and your reason to see Miss Chase?"
This time I took of my cap. Her eyes got wide when she sees me.
Good she recognized me.
"Percy!" She exclaimed. "Oh my God you're Percy Jackson!"
I chuckled. "It's good that you still remember me."
"Of course." She smiled widely composing herself. "You're famous."
"Oh."
She chuckled. "I know a lot of things Sir. I know that you and Miss Chase got back together."
I smiled at her. "So can I see her?"
"Of course sir, you just have to wait for a while."
I nodded.
"Does she know that you're coming today?" She asks.
I shook my head. "I wanted to surprise her."
"Oh that's so sweet."
I smiled at her as I make way to the waiting area.
"I think it will be best if you wait in her office." She suggested as she approach me.
"Will that be okay?"
"Of course, she'll be more surprise."
"I like the way you think." I winked at her.
She blushed as she led me to Annabeth's office.
I took a seat at the couch making myself comfortable. After a couple of minutes Carly came back to give me a cup of coffee. She wishes me good luck before she went out.
I was near to dozing off when I heard noise outside the door. I straighten my clothes as I approach the door. I saw the handle turn and I rush to hide at the side. Seconds after Annabeth came in looking exhausted. She must have a rough day.
She went straight to her desk not noticing me. She's currently looking at the papers that she's holding.
I leaned on the wall as I crossed my arms over my chest to watch her.
I saw her massaging her neck before finally sitting at her desk. She's still not aware that someone is watching her.
She's about to pick her phone when I decided to reveal myself.
"Rough day?"
She drops her phone. "Percy?"
"Hey baby." I greeted her as I approach her.
She covers her mouth. She's so surprised to see me.
"Can I get a hug?" I teased as she was still glued on her seat.
That breaks her trance and after a couple of seconds she's hugging me so tight.
I pick her up as I pin her around.
"Stop!" She shrieked laughing.
I put her down and pull away slightly at her. "Surprise."
She grabs my face as she kisses me so fiercely.
Okay I didn't expect that but I obliged freely. My hands went to her waist as I support her. Her hands went immediately at the back of my neck.
The kiss lasted a couple of minutes. We have to break apart for air. She rests her head on my chest as I hold her to me.
"I can't believe you're finally here." She said as she pull away and guide me to her desk.
I sit on her chair as she sits on my lap.
"I hope you're not mad at me anymore?" I ask as I nuzzled into her neck.
She laughs as she kisses my cheek. She kisses me a couple of times before answering.
"Not anymore. You're here and that's what is important."
"I'm glad to hear that."
We smiled at each other. She caresses my face. I leaned on her touch.
"I've missed you so much." I said as I peck her on the lips quickly.
"I've missed you two."
"I love you so much."
"I love you too."
She rests her head on my chest as I pull her closer to me.
"So how long are you staying here?" She asks.
"A month or so." I answered smiling.
"Really?" She asks pulling back. I can tell she's happy to hear that.
"Yeah, Allie and Nico took pity on me."
"That's good to hear." She said as she kisses me once again.
This time the kiss was slow. We're savoring the moment.
She sighs contentedly as she pulls away.
She looks at me and then she scrunched her eyebrows.
"Did you lose weight?" She asks.
"Huh?"
She stands up and then she pulls me too. We are both standing and she makes me turn around.
"You've lost weight." She stated.
"Really?" I asked confused. "I didn't notice."
She put her hands in her waist. "You're not taking care of yourself properly. Do you even sleep enough? Look at the bags under your eyes." She scolded.
I chuckled and she glared at me. I pulled her closer and I let us fall back to her seat again.
"Calm down okay." I reassured her. "I'm fine. I've been just so busy these past 2 months. I rarely got rest and add the fact that I've been missing you like crazy." I pouted.
Her eyes soften and she caresses my face again. "I'm sorry if I'm giving you a hard time these past few days."
"Months." I smile correcting her. She smacks my arm.
"I'm just joking." I said kissing her cheek. "I know it's my fault too."
"No." She said pointedly. "Remind me to punch your cousin when I see him."
I grin at her. "Actually he's.."
We were both startled when the door swings open revealing Thalia dragging a frightened Nico behind her and a frantic looking Carly.
"Here." I finished my sentence as I look amusedly at them.
"Ma'am I told them that your.." Carly tried to explain. She blushed when she saw that her boss is sitting on my lap.
"It's okay Carly. You can go now. Just close the door." Annabeth ordered.
Carly hurriedly went out closing the door behind her.
Annabeth stand up to face them. I followed suit.
"Is it true?" Thalia asks me. She looks dead serious. I pity my cousin who's looking at me pleadingly. I can see how tight her grip is on his hand.
"About what?" I answered as I stand beside Annabeth who's looking at them smugly. I put my arm around her shoulders and she leans on me.
"That this idiot cousin of yours was just busy that's why he hasn't visited me in the past 3 months?"
Nico look so scared now. I'm trying to suppress my smile but I'm failing. Nico glared at me but at the same time he's asking me to cover for him. Because I'm a good cousin I chose his side.
"It's true." I replied. "We've all been busy."
I felt Annabeth's gaze on me. Maybe she's trying to see if I'm really telling the truth. I look at her and smile. I know she doesn't believe me just by the way she looks at me but she remained silent.
Nico breathe a sigh of relief when Thalia loosed her grip on him.
"Gods that hurts." He complained.
Thalia looks at him apologetically.
"It's okay." He reassured her as he pecks her on the lips.
Annabeth walks to him and smack him on the head much to our surprise.
"What the hell Annabeth?!" He exclaimed. "You two really know how to inflict pain."
I chuckled at his reaction.
"That's for making Thalia upset and.." She smacks him in the arm. "And that's for giving Percy a hard time. Gods he lost a lot of weight."
"I did not." I protested.
"Yes you did. Look at yourself." She gestured to me.
"How come that's my fault?" Nico whined rubbing his arms.
My poor cousin sat down on the couch. Thalia followed him and rubs her hand on his arm. He smiled at her in return.
"Because you didn't let him have enough rest, I know these past 2 months have been hell for him. He's been traveling a lot." She sits in front of the two.
"That's her job Annabeth and besides he doesn't complain about it."
"Whoa that's not true." I butted in. "I've been telling you to lessen my commitments."
Nico glared at me.
"See." Annabeth said pointedly. I sit beside her.
"Just drop it. I promise to get enough rest while I'm here."
"Good." She said as she kissed me on the lips.
"Did you tell her?" I asked Nico.
He shook his head. "I was busy defending myself." He grimaced.
"I'm sorry." Thalia apologized as she hugs him from his side. "It's just I was so upset. I thought you're just making excuses not to see me."
Nico and I look at each other and Annabeth saw it.
"Tell us what?" Thankfully that's what she asked.
"Apollo, Chloe, Artemis, Bianca, Hazel, Mom and Kelsi are here in Greece too." I said smiling.
"Really?!" The two said excitedly.
"Yup but they're in Patras now at Aunt Hestia's house." Nico informed them.
"They're in Patras?"
"Yes, we arrived around noon there. We drop them off then Nico and I headed here."
"So you haven't had enough rest then?" Thalia asks.
"Yes." I answered. "We miss you guys so much so we came here as soon as we can."
"Aww that's so sweet." Annabeth cooed hugging me. I kissed her on the forehead.
"So you two drive to get here."
Nico and I both nodded.
"I'm surprise Sally let you guys drive."
"There's nothing they could do anyway."
"Figures." Thalia stated.
Then there's a knock on the door.
"Come in." Annabeth shouted.
Carly poke her head in. "Sorry to interrupt, Ms. Thalia, your secretary is looking for you. She said someone is looking for you."
"Oh okay. Thanks Carly." Thalia answered.
"Okay that's our cue then. Let's have dinner later." She suggested.
"That will be nice." I answered.
"You're staying at Annabeth's right?" She asked.
I look at Annabeth and she smiled. "Of course he's staying with me." She said smugly.
"How about Nico?" I asked. "Will you let him stay with you?"
"No."
"What?"
"Just kidding." Thalia grinned. "Of course you idiot. I love you too much to let you sleep in a hotel alone."
Nico blushed at that.
"Now come on." She drags Nico. "See you guys later."
Annabeth and I laugh as soon as they were out.
"Those two really amused me." She said.
"They're a weird couple." I suggest.
"Yeah they are." She agreed.
I leaned on the couch and she followed suit leaning on my chest as she curled up beside me.
"What time are you getting out?"
"Five."
I look at my watch and there's still an hour left. She let out a deep sigh as she sits up. "I need to finish something." She said as she stands up.
"Do you have to?" I pouted.
She smiled sadly. "Yes, I'm sorry baby but it will only take half an hour. You can lie on the couch for a while. I know you're tired."
"Okay. I'll be right here." I patted on the couch. She kissed me on the lips before she went back to her desk.
Surely I was tired from the flight and from the drive. As soon as I closed my eyes I drifted to sleep.
"Hey baby wake up." Annabeth whispered in my ear.
I slowly open my eyes and I see her face towering at me. She smiled sweetly at me.
"What time is it?" I ask as I sit up.
"It's already 5. I didn't wake you up when I'm done with my work. You look like you needed that nap."
I smiled at her. "Yeah I'm just tired I guess."
"Come on. We can go home now. We'll just meet Nico and Thalia later."
The four of us had dinner together. We chatted for a an hour and then we said goodbye since they saw how tired Nico and I. We agreed to head back in Patras in the weekend to see the others.
My phone rings as I was lying on Annabeth's bed waiting for her to get out from the bathroom. It was Charles.
"Hey bro." I greeted.
He just called to check on us and that he's happy that we finally decided to visit.
I apologized to him that I didn't wait for him. He said that he understands. He informed me that the rest of our family is having a great time.
I thanked him for taking care of them. He said goodbye after a while.
"Who was that?" Annabeth asks as she emerged from the bathroom.
"Charles. He's just checking on me."
She smiled as she joined me in bed. She snuggled close to me.
"I've missed this." She said after a while.
"Me too."
She traces circles on my bare chest. "You need to eat more." She scolded me.
I chuckled. "I'm fine."
She looks at me and I can't help but stare at her. She looks so beautiful. My eyes went down to her lips.
"Are you just going to stare?" She teases me.
I raised an eyebrow at her. "What? Should I do something?" I challenged her.
She just shrugged her shoulders. "It's up to you. I can go to sleep now if you want." She taunted.
"Really?"
"Really." She answered.
I trace my finger on her lips but when I can't help it anymore I bent down to kiss her on the lips.
I shift our position so that I am hovering above her.
"Gods you are so beautiful." I said as my hands roam around her body.
"I love you."
That's all I needed to hear as I crash my lips back to hers.
The rest I needed was forgotten as we end up sharing the night intimately.
LINEBREAK
Percy woke up earlier than Annabeth. Instead of waking her up, he let her sleep for a while and he decided to cook some breakfast.
After an hour he woke her up so that they can have breakfast together.
The smile on her lips when she saw what he prepared was enough for him to brighten his day.
After a while she's ready to go to work.
"You can go to Patras now." She suggested. "Thalia and I can follow there tonight or early tomorrow."
It's already Friday and they agreed to spend the weekend in Patras.
Percy shook his head. "No we agreed to wait for you. I'll be fine here."
"Are you sure? What if you got bored?"
"Don't worry. I'll be probably sleeping anyways."
She smiled at him. "Then it's good if you do that."
"I'm pretty sure that's what I'm going to do."
"Okay then if you insist."
"I'll see you at lunch." Percy said.
"Do you want me to come home and bring some food?"
"No I'll meet you at the café. Nico will probably be there too."
"Oh okay." She pecked him on the lips. "I'll be going now."
"Do you want me to drive you to work?"
She rolled her eyes on him. "I'm capable of driving myself there Seaweed Brain."
"I know. I'm just making an excuse to spend more time with you." He grinned widely at her.
"You're awfully cheesy at this early in the morning."
"Correction sweet not cheesy."
"It's the same thing." She countered. "I'm going now. I don't want to be late."
Percy accompanied her to the door. She kissed him on the lips before she finally went out.
He went back to the kitchen to wash the dishes. After that he went back to the room to go back to sleep.
When Annabeth reached the office, her phone vibrated and she saw that there's a text message from Percy. He just told her that he's going back to sleep and that he misses her already and that he can't wait to see her again.
With a smile on her face, she taps the reply button. "I love you." was her only reply.
A couple of seconds another text came in, "I love you too."
With a stupid grin on her face, she replied scolding him to go back to sleep. Percy replied one more time before she finally set aside her phone.
Carly greeted her sweetly. "Good Morning Ma'am. Did you have a goodnight sleep?"
She just rolled her eyes on her. She knows that Carly was just teasing her.
She's a little busy for the rest of the morning. She's so focused on her work not minding the time.
The ringing of the phone startled her. She picks it up.
Her eyes widen when she heard what Carly said.
"Okay, send them in." She said as she set the phone down.
Annabeth tries to straighten her dress as she heard a short knock on the door. Carly opens the door for her visitors.
She stands up to greet them. She felt so nervous when she finally sees them.
"Hi sis." Malcolm greeted her as he kissed her on the cheek.
"How are you my dear?" Athena greeted her curtly.
"Mom, Malcolm, what are you guys doing here?"
