I am so sorry for not updating for months. I've been busy with work and some personal stuff but I'm back.

Here's a long overdue chapter. Hope you guys will like it.

Chapter 72

Annabeth and Malcolm just arrived at the airport. She felt alive despite of the long flight. She's so excited to see Percy. They haven't seen each other for months and it's been too hard for both of them. Long distance relationship is really hard not to mention the time difference. It's hard but thankfully they manage it.

"So…"Malcolm started. "Excited to see your man?"

Annabeth shrugged and smiled at him. Malcolm chuckled.

"So how do we do this?" He asked. "Are you going to hide while I go talk to him?"

"Now that you've mentioned it, I didn't think about that."

"Really?" He mocked. "You of all people? That's hard to believe."

Annabeth punched him in the shoulder. Malcolm was continuously mocking her when all of the sudden from the corner of her eyes, she saw someone familiar.

She stops in her tracks.

"What is it?" Malcolm asked.

"I thought you said Percy is the one to pick you up?"

"Yes. That's what he said before we got in the plane. Why? Is there something wrong?"

"That's his personal driver over there." She pointed a man in a suit holding a signboard with Malcolm's name on it.

"Your boyfriend is really rich huh." He joked.

Annabeth just rolls her eyes on him as she drags her luggage to Taylor's position.

The moment Taylor saw her, he was shocked. "Miss Chase, I didn't know you are coming. Percy didn't mention it to me."

"Hey Taylor, I thought we already agreed to call me on my first name."

Taylor blushes. "Sorry I just forgot. Welcome back by the way."

"Thank you." She smiles. "And speaking of my boyfriend, where is he?"

"Oh, he wants to apologize for not coming here to pick you up sir." Taylor nodded to Malcolm and then turns back to Annabeth. "There have been some minor problems at his music video shoot that they have to extend."

Annabeth nodded. Then she realized that she hasn't introduced her brother yet. "Oh sorry, Taylor this is my brother Malcolm."

Malcolm offered his hand and Taylor shook it. "It's nice meeting you sir."

Malcolm waves him off. "Just call me Malcolm."

Taylor smiles. "Are you guys all set?"

Annabeth and Malcolm nodded. Taylor showed the way to the car as he drives them back to Percy's place.

"Wow." Malcolm uttered as he saw Percy's place. "Just wow."

Annabeth feeling proud. "Impressed?"

Malcolm nodded.

"Want to know who's behind the design for all of this?"

Malcolm looks at her then his eyes went wide. "Don't tell me …"

Annabeth just beamed at him, smiling widely.

"Damn! Tell me everything how this happened."

The sibling went inside the house followed by Taylor who's carrying their luggage.

Martha was there waiting inside the house. When she sees Annabeth she squealed. "I didn't know you are coming."

Annabeth hugs her. "Surprise."

"Percy will be so happy when he sees you. He's been so stressed lately."

Annabeth frowned. "He didn't tell me."

Martha smiles at her. "Typical him."

"By the way Martha, this is my brother Malcolm."

"Hi."Malcolm greeted shyly.

"I can see the resemblance." Martha smiled at him. "It is nice meeting you."

Malcolm offered his hand but instead Martha hugs him.

"So are you guys hungry? I can prepare you snacks."

"Hmm maybe later."

Martha nodded. "Come on let's get you settled. You guys are probably tired from the long flight."

She assisted them to their rooms. Of course, Annabeth will stay on Percy's room and Malcolm will be on one of the guest rooms.

"Just call me when you need anything."

"We will. Thanks Martha."

Martha smiled and leaves them for a while so they can get settled.

LINEBREAK

Percy was already tired and hungry. They've been going over and over from this one scene. He and his partner on this mtv shoot are already exhausted. They can't seem to get what the director want for this one particular scene.

He's supposed to be at home hours ago. He should also be the one to pick up Malcolm at the airport. He just texted him a while ago to apologized for not picking him up personally, good thing he understand.

He closed his eyes hoping to get some rest even for a bit. He's so damn tired.

"Hey." Allie called him.

He groaned. His eyes are still closed. "Noooo."

"I'm sorry but your break is over. They want you back there." Allie massages his shoulder. She knows how tired and stressed he is over these past few days.

"What is he looking for anyway? I mean seriously, what does he want? It's just a music video not some Oscar wannabe movie."

"Just be patient. You know his reputation. He's a perfectionist. You'll both get it right just relax and feel the moment."

"How do you think will we do that? We're both so tired. I mean come on it's been hours. We have to endure rain, sun …"

"Okay big guy, I'll stop you right there or you'll never going to stand up there." Allie lightly pushes him to stand up.

Percy finally opens his eyes. "Just please next time not him or I will never going to do another video." He threatens.

Allie just laughs at him. "Go. Your partner is there already."

"You do know that I have my future brother-in-law at my house waiting for me." He joked.

"Oohh future brother-in-law." Allie teased. "Is that mean you're planning on proposing to her?"

Percy walks away laughing. Allie just shook her head.

After what feels like forever, they finally finished the shoot. Percy feels like he needed a 12 hour sleep. He let out a deep sigh. Finally it's over.

He checked his watch and it's already 10 in the evening. He shook his head. Malcolm was probably sleeping by now. He'll talk to him tomorrow.

"You should probably eat first before going home." Allie suggested while looking at him worriedly. "You look like you're going to pass out any minute now."

Percy shook his head. "I'm not hungry. I just want to sleep."

"Percy …"

"Fine! But I'll eat when I get home. I just want to rest for a bit. I'll sleep in the car. Is Taylor here now? "

"Yes he's outside waiting for you."

"Okay. I need to go. Talk to you soon." He kissed her cheek before finally walking towards the car.

"Get some plenty of rest." She called out to him.

"I will."

Taylor opens the door for him. "Good evening Percy."

Percy groaned. "Evening, take me away as fast as you can from here."

Taylor chuckled. As soon as he put his things at the trunk, they drove home. When he glances at the back to check on him, Percy was already sleeping.

An hour and half later, they arrived at Percy's place but he's still sound asleep. Taylor does not have the heart to wake him up but he has to.

He gently shook Percy to wake him up. "Hey Perce, wake up. We're here."

Percy just groaned. Taylor tries again and luckily he finally opens his eyes. He blinked a couple of times to wake himself up. Then he finally remembers that Malcolm is here.

"Oh shit I forgot to ask. How's Malcolm by the way?"

"Don't worry, Martha took care of them." Taylor slips and his eyes went wide. Luckily, Percy was still half asleep so he doesn't noticed the word "them".

"Good. I think he's probably sleeping by now." Percy said noticing the time.

"I guess so."

Percy puffed out a breath. "Gods I missed my bed."

Taylor smiles knowing that Percy is about to get a big surprise inside the house.

Percy went directly to his room not wanting to eat anything. He's just so tired. He does not have an appetite to eat. All he wants to do is curl up in his bed and pass out not wanting to do anything for the next 12 hours until he remembers that he has a guest.

The room was dark when he enters. He immediately took of his clothes until only his boxer was left. He went directly to the bathroom passing his bed and not noticing that someone was lying in there.

Annabeth sees him the moment he enters the room but she didn't say anything. It's a good thing that she's a light sleeper.

She waited until he's out of the bathroom. He didn't turn on the light so he can't see her. He went directly to the bed not even bothering to lift the covers. He didn't notice that someone is lying beside him. He's about to fall asleep when a voice wakes him up. Not just anybody's voice but a voice he knows too well.

"Hey, don't tell me your just going to fall asleep not even bothering to give me a proper hello." Her voice is teasing him.

Immediately sleep abandons him and he reaches for the lamp to turn it on.

"Annabeth!"

"Hey you finally notice me. Surprise!" She smiles widely at him before kissing him on the lips.

It took him only seconds to get over his shock and then he's kissing her hard and holding her tight. By the time they let go, they're both breathing hard.

"Gods I missed you so much." He rests his forehead on her. "Why didn't you tell me you're coming?"

"What's the fun in that?" She teased. "I wanted to surprise you."

"And you did." Percy smiles widely kissing her again. He instantly felt so alive now that he's holding her.

He wraps her in his arms not letting go. Annabeth runs her hands in his back calming him. "Is there something wrong? "

Percy shook his head. He pull away to look her in the eyes. "Just a rough week but everything is alright now, especially now that you're here."

She kisses his nose because his so cute. "I'm glad I can help."

"I still can't believe that you're here." He said while caressing her face.

She just smiled at him.

"I'm so happy."

"I can see that." She teased.

"Do you want me to show how happy I am?" He teased back.

"Really? Show me then."

She squealed when Percy tickles her side. He hovers above her holding her hands in his one hand and using the other to tickle her. He only stops when she can't breathe.

He watches her lovingly until she can finally breathe normally. "I hate you." She pouted but her eyes are shining.

"I love you." He said instead. She smiles at him.

"And I love you too."

They closed the gap between them.

And for the rest of the night they showed each other how much they miss each other.
