"When do we start?" Loki asked, leaning his head forward. Thor looked around at Loki's destroyed cell. Furniture was splintered and thrown across the floor. There were scratches in the white wall on the far side of the cell and tracks of blood across the same white colored floors. His eyes widened as he realized the mess Loki truly made.

"Um, well… now…" Thor said, still eying the room. His eyes once again fell to Loki. His brother stared at him with one eyebrow cocked.

"Now?" he asked. Thor nodded.

"Now." he confirmed. Loki looked around the cell and at the walls and turned back to Thor, both eyebrows raised. He threw his hands up and let them fall back on his knees.

"So how do I get out?" Loki said. Thor looked over his shoulder to the guards who were waiting a respectable distance away. He nodded in their direction which got them moving immediately. They walked past Thor as he turned to face Loki with a serious expression on his face. He couldn't believe what he was doing. After all his brother has done to betray him, he was freeing him.

The guards stood on the left and right side of Loki's cell and raised their scepters to the wall of magic enclosing him. With a slow motion of their scepters from the top of the cell to the bottom, the wall fell away. Thor watched Loki observe where the wall used to be. He tilted his head to examine the absence of the enclosure before pushing himself on his knees before the edge of the cell. Thor's brother hesitantly raised a hand and reached out towards where the wall used to be, gazing as if it was the strangest and most interesting thing in the world as his hand didn't come into contact with anything.

"Well now that you are done admiring the plain air, I think it's wise to get a move on now." Thor said. Loki snapped his head towards his brother and narrowed his eyes. For a moment, Thor felt himself go rigid as those deep green orbs seemed to see right through him. Prison somehow made Loki seem even more malicious.

The gaze was soon gone though, when Loki cringed and hissed in a breath. Thor remembered the blood he saw on the floor.

"Loki…" Thor said rolling his eyes. He walked forward to where his brother was trying to stand up in the cell. Thor reached forward to give Loki a hand or an arm to help him walk, but Loki just shot him a nasty look. "What did you do to your foot?" Thor asked. He knew it had to be during Loki's tantrum about his mother passing, but how much can you do with a few pieces of furniture in a small enclosed cell?

"I don't know." Loki said. Thor sighed and put his arm out again. This time, to his surprise, Loki didn't make any attempt to defy his attempts to help. Instead, Loki griped Thor's arm as he carefully made his way down out of the cell and onto the ground where Thor stood. He then quickly pushed himself off of Thor, looking around as if to make sure no one saw.

"Do you have any magic that will fix it?" Thor said looking at the blood Loki was getting everywhere. Without saying anything in response, Loki closed his eyes. He seemed to be at peace almost, like Thor's mother right before she used magic… or used to use magic.

Thor watched as a green shimmering light appeared at the base of Loki's feet. It traveled up his brother's body slowly, and Thor had to squint from the light. He could still see the transformation however. In place of Loki's blood soaked ankle and foot, a dark leather boots replaced it. Instead of the pants he had been wearing a moment ago, the thick green cloth of his armor took its place. The green light traveled up to Loki's head until finally it disappeared. Instead of the old clothes Loki had been wearing, he was fully dressed in his usual green and black attire. He looked cleaner, healthier, and his hair was slicked back unlike the unruly mess it was a second or two ago.

Thor rolled his eyes. Of course his brother had to look the part. He was Loki after all.

"Are you ready now?" Thor asked trying to rush him along.

"What's the hurry, brother?" Loki smirked as he passed Thor. He swiftly walked down the halls of the prison, numerous prisoners yelling out to him as he passed. Thor bounded after his brother, eventually falling into step with him.

"So what do we do first? Is there any destruction involved? Any death?" Loki asked excitedly. Thor just stared at him with a disgusted look.

"What?" Loki glanced back with an irritated look on his face. "You used to be so much more fun brother."

"That was until I realized that-"

"I don't want some uplifting lesson today, Thor." Loki cut him off. They reached the stairs at that point, and Loki slowed a bit. He beamed up at the stone steps leading away from the prison. Thor guessed that even for Loki it had to be pretty emotional leaving the place where you've been imprisoned for a year or so. He couldn't even imagine not having the freedom he had now. The smaller things he took for granted seemed a lot bigger now that he was seeing how happy Loki was just to be out of his cell.

The happiness and childish excitement faded a little from Loki's face as he began climbing the stairs, but only a little bit.
