Jace POV

After Magnus calmed me down we walked back into the room to find an empty chair and the girl sitting on the table looking bored.

I looked from Magnus to the girl and asked, "how the hell did you get out of your restraints?"

She glanced at me and said, "you people suck at restraints and knots. You made it way to simple for me to escape."

Magnus just rolled his eyes and said, "good job poppet, but back in the restraints you go."

She just glared at him and said, "I have a name you know."

I asked her, "are you willing to share that bit of information with us."

She just shrugged and said, "any name is better than poppet. My name is Raven."

Magnus just ignored her and said, "back in the chair poppet."

Raven about lost it and began an advance on Magnus, but he flicked his fingers and she went flying to the far wall and hit it with a thud. She groaned and was about to attack him when he snapped his fingers and chain connected from the wall to her wrists and ankles.

Raven looked down at herself and glared at Magnus, "are you serious right now warlock?! Chains? I know your old fashioned... but is this really necessary?"

Just as Magnus was about to answer Alec burst through the door and said, "Clary needs to talk to you Jace."

I turned to leave when Raven said, "how is Clarissa? Sebastian talks about her all the time. I mean the detail he says about her and the stories... i feel... I feel like I practically know her. Obviously Sebastian knows her very, very, very well."

She said the last part slowly knowing very well the emotions it was stirring up inside me. Alec and Magnus both grabbed a hold of me and drug me out of the room before I could tear her tongue out of her throat. All the while she was laughing hysterically.

Magnus POV

Jace was thrashing and yelling, "Let go of me!"

We threw him out of the room and the guards both grabbed on to either side of him to restrain him.

I shook my head and said, "go to Clary. You need to calm down. I know what she said was personal, but you can't beat her up. For all we know she is under Sebastian's control and this isn't her speaking, but him. So calm down. Alexander and I will take care of her."

I could tell he wanted to protest, but he just shrugged off the guards and stormed down the hallway.

"Dang... I knew he had a temper, but it's on a whole other level with her." Alec said.

"Yeah. That boy really needs a chill pill."

"Chill pill?" Alec looked confused.

I just waved him off and said, "the girls name is Raven. Or I think it is. She said it's what she goes by." I began to walk back in when Alec stopped me.

He looked upset and confused, "Magnus, she may go by Raven, but I don't think that's her real name."

"What do you mean?"

"Can you do a blood comparison test for me? Don't tell Clary or Jace until I'm for sure it's not who I believe it is."

I was confused but agreed to his terms, "who do you think she is?"

He took in a deep breath and said, "Elizabeth"

Hold up... does he mean like Elizabeth Elizabeth? Like Elizabeth Clary and Jace's dead daughter?

"Elizabeth? Jace's daughter?"

"Yes. Johnathan was saying she came in when she was about 7. She had red hair and golden eyes. He said she acted a lot like Jace in a way. Now we know Elizabeth looked like both Clary and Jace, but was a little spawn of Jace. This girl 'Raven' acts a lot like him in ways. She fits the age. And if you picture her with red hair and golden eyes... I honestly think it's possible that girl in there is Elizabeth."

I just shook my head and said, "I'll do the test, but if she is Elizabeth... we are in for one hell of a roller coaster ride."

He nodded and said, "your telling me."

After taking the girls blood I need to compare her blood to Jace's and Clarissa's or...

I looked over to Alec and said, "go get William."

Alec look puzzled and asked, "why? I thought we were going to get Clary and Jace to do a blood test?"

"I would prefer not to know about this just yet. We could be wrong. And William is Elizabeth's twin, they would have very similar blood."

He just shook his said and said, "I don't like this, but I'll go retrieve him."

Will POV:

I was in my room reading when Alec walked in. I looked up to him and smiled, "hey Alec!"

He looked distant and said, "hey Will. I was wondering if you could come down with me to the lab?"

I was confused, "uh yeah sure, but why?"

He just began to leave the room and called out, "I'll fill you in when we get there."

We made it to the lab and we walked in to find Magnus holding up a needle. I looked at both of them and realized they were staring at me. I spoke up and said, "what are you wanting me to do?"

Magnus steppes forward and said, "we need a sample of your blood."

"Why?"

"It's none of your concern. We just need it on file."

I shook my head, "no. Your testing it. Why?"

Alec stepped in and said, "please Will. It's important."

"Then tell me what's going on. Or I can go tell my parents and have them.."

I was interrupted by Magnus saying, "no"

They obviously didn't want my parents knowing about this. What could be so important they need to keep it from them? I looked between them and said, "either you tell me what is going on, or I will go get my parents and you can explain to them why you need my blood."

Alec looked like he didn't know what to say so Magnus spoke up, "fine Will, but your not going to like it. And you cannot tell your parents or anyone. Clear?"

"Crystal"

Magnus took in a deep breath and said, "we need to compare your blood to the girl, Raven, we captured."

"Why?"

"Magnus.." Alec said in a warning tone.

Magnus shook his head, "I know Alexander, but we need his blood to make sure."

I was so confused, "need my blood to make sure of what?"

Alec spoke and said, "to make sure that girl isn't your sister."

"You joking me right?" This can't be true... "my sister died almost 9 years ago. That girl cannot be her."

Alec had a sincere look on his face, "look I know this is hard to take in Will, but I just want to do this to make sure. Please."

I can't believe this is happening. I looked at Magnus and said, "I will let you take my blood if I can go see her."

Alec shook his head, "Will that's not a good idea..."

I stopped him, "I get to talk to her and... if this girl is my sister, mom and dad can't know. At least not right now. They are already under a lot of stress."

Alec was about to refute when Magnus said, "deal."

I walked over to Magnus and stuck out my arm. He lowered the needle into my arm and drew enough blood for a small test tube. I turned to Alec when Magnus was done and said, "while he is testing our blood I want to go see her."

Alec just nodded and lead the way to her. When we go to a door that had two guards Alec whispered something to them and they let us in. The room was small and had a window looking into a room. There was a girl sitting in the room changed to the wall. She looked bored and frustrated...

Alec spoke from beside me, "it's a one way mirror. We can see her, but she can't see us."

I nodded and walked over to the mirror. I studied the girl... She seemed so full of hatred, but also lonely. I could see something about her reminded me of my sister, but this girl was pure evil. My sister was one to help others and care for us, not try to kill us.

Alec clears his throat, "whenever you want to go talk to her, just let me know."

I nodded and said, "I'm ready."

Walking into the room felt like the walls were closing in on me. My heart rate sped up and I began to feel very uneasy. Alec stayed by the door while I walked over to the chair at the table in the middle of the room. She slowly turned her head to see myself and Alec. She had a confused look on her face that then grew into a small smirk. This sent chills down my spine. I pulled out the chair and turned it towards her so I was able to sit and talk to her.

She laughed and said, "Do I make you nervous boy?"

I let out a shaky breathe and said, "no"

She just laughed and looked at Alec, "really? You sent a child in here to talk to me?"

Alec scowled, "last time I checked you are a child as well."

She smirked, "Yes I maybe young, but we all know I am way beyond my years."

I began to study her very carefully. She seemed confident, but she was showing signs of nervousness. I looked at her hair and realized it was dyed brown and her roots had begun to show signs of red hair. She was trying to look tough, but somewhere deep down I could tell she was trying to fight something from inside her. I was still staring when she said, "Why the hell are you just staring at me?"

I shook my head out of whatever trance I was in and turned to Alec, "could you give us a minute?"

She had a dry laugh and said, "look your cute and all, but I'm not attracted to you like that. I'm way out of your league."

Alec ignored her comment and said, "that wasn't apart of the deal."

She looked confused and asked, "what deal?"

Just then Magnus walked through the door slightly panting. He gave both Alec and myself a look that we needed to leave the room now. We both began to leave when the girl stopped me in my tracks by saying, "You know William, when I get out of here you can come with me. I saw how well you fought. You have huge potential with the skill set you have. I can help you become better. I can help you get out of this hell hole..."

I swung around and interrupted her from saying anything more, "if you think for one second I would switch sides, you are majorly mistaken."

She smirked that smile she has been giving me this whole time, "Clarissa and Jace don't know that you are down here do they?" She turned to Alec and Magnus and said, "you two are breaking a lot of rules. You brought William, Sebastian's nephew, down here to what? Talk to me? Risking his safety for what?"

Alec shook his head, "he is not related to Sebastian in any way, and he has myself and Magnus down here. I highly doubt that it's not safe. Let's go Will."

She laughed, "you sure about that?"

The next thing I know I see Raven get up and run towards me, grabbing me and tackling me to the ground. We wrestled on the ground till I felt something cold and sharp on my throat. She slowly raised me up, standing behind me, holding a knife, my knife, against my throat. I looked up to see Magnus and Alec stopped dead in their tracks. The look on Alecs face showed rage and worry, while Magnus looked worried and scared.

Raven began to speak from behind me, "Now if you boys don't mind... we will be leaving."

Alec growled and said, "to hell with that! Let him go now." He had his bow drawn and was pointing it at us.

Magnus stepped forward slowly and said, "Raven, trust me you don't want to do this."

I felt the knife push more into my neck and I felt a trickle of blood run down my neck. Alec slowly put his bow down and Magnus stopped approaching us, realizing she wasn't bluffing.

Raven spoke, "Alec put the bow down, Magnus get into those chains."

Alec slowly put his bow down and Magnus walked over to the chains, locking his wrists together. Raven slowly backed up with me and made her way to the door. When we approached the door Magnus said, "Raven, your surrounded by many shadowhunters, it's not gonna be easy to escape."

I could tell she was smirking when she said, "oh I count on it."

With that being said I heard the door open. I was then shoved back into the room and I heard the door lock in place. I ran to the door trying to open it with Alec along side me.

"We need to warn the others," Alec said with panic in his voice.

While we tried to get the door to open when suddenly a burst of light went off and the glass mirror shattered. I was shocked by the sudden outburst, but we then turned our attention to Magnus. He was taking the chain off his wrist saying, "she put a locking rune on the door, but not the mirror."

Alec just laughed and we all jumped through the window.
