Clary

I was in the study talking to Jace, Izy, Simon, Luke, Jocelyn, and a couple iron sisters when an alarm sounded.

Jace huffed and said, "great what now?"

We all took off out of the study. When I began to turn the corner I nearly ran into William. He was panting and flustered, "William what's wrong?"

He took in a deep breathe and said, "Raven escaped."

Jace stepped forward nearly yelling, "how the hell did she escape?"

Alec walked up from behind Will and said, "we were down there talking to her when she somehow got out of her chains."

"We?" I asked questioningly.

Magnus stepped up and said, "myself, Alec, and Will."

Jace nearly lost it at that point, "you let my son go down there and talk to her? And she escaped? He could have been killed!"

Izy put a hand on his shoulder and said, "Let's talk about this later, Will is fine, but she is somewhere in this institute." She turned to Luke and Jocelyn, "put the institute on lockdown. No one gets in and no one gets out. Split up, the iron sister will take the East wing. Myself, Simon and Luke will take the North. Alec, Magnus, and Jocelyn will take the south. Jace and Clary take the West wing."

Will stepped forward, "what about me? I can help."

Jace shook his head and said, "you are going to stay here and lock yourself in the study."

He began to protest when I said, "Jace let him come with us, he can be of some help, and we can keep an eye on him."

Jace just turned around and yelled, "fine let's move!"

Magnus POV

We were walking down the hall, Alec was beside me and Jocelyn was in front of us checking to make sure we weren't walking into any traps.

Alec whispered to me, "were you able to get the results from the blood work?"

"Yes..."

He glanced at me, "Well?"

I just shook my head, "Are you ready for that roller coaster ride?"

My comment mad him nearly trip. He stopped me and whispered, "That girl is Elizabeth?"

I began to walk again and whispered back to him, "Yes."

Jace POV

I can't believe Raven was she so good? I looked over at Clary and Will. They both had a look of determination sketched on their face with a little bit of worry. We just got done gathering all the kids from their dorms and made them all huddle into the rec room. We made sure they all had weapons and we put some other shadowhunters in their with them to make sure they would be safe.

"Dad?" I looked over to see Will watching me with worried eyes. "Are you okay?"

I gave him a slight smile and said, "I'm fine, just want to find this girl and..."

I didn't get to finish because I was being tackled to the ground by a figure. I looked up to see none other than Raven.

"Jace!" I heard Clary scream out, but I was too busy fighting Raven to say anything back.

The girl was laughing and said, "once you find me you wana do what Jace?"

I struggled against her and said, "kill you of course."

She was thrown off of me by Clary and then two automatically began to fight. Will had run over to me and was helping me up when I heard a loud thud. I turned to see Clary was lying still in the floor.

"Mom!" Will yelled out and ran towards her.

"Will!" I yelled trying to stop him, by it was too late. Raven slammed her fist into his head and he crumpled to the floor beside Clary. This immediately pissed me off even more. I made my way towards Raven, she started circling me as if I was prey.

"Nice to see you again Jace" she said this with enthusiasm in her voice.

"Your going to pay for what you did."

She laughed at my comment and said, "what exactly are you going to do Jace? You saw what I just did to your son and wife. What makes you think you can stop me?"

I decided to advance on her and I threw a punch, but she easily dodged it. I then swept my leg out and caught her left leg. She stumbled a little and I took that as my opening and tackled her to the floor. We wrestled till I had her pinned underneath me in a choke hold. She struggled against me and managed to land a blow to my gut. I weakened my hold and she was able to escape my grasp. She rolled off to the side panting and coughing while I was trying to get air to go into my lungs.

She looked over at me and choked out, "Your good Jace, but not good enough."

I laughed and said, "you sure about that little one?"

She grinned and said, "it's not the size of the shadowhunter in the fight, it's the size of fight in the shadowhunter."

Her words made me pause. I have heard those words before, but before I could contemplate where from, she tackled me back onto the floor and pinned me down. She then started punching me in the face over and over. She was about six punches in when a figure came over and yanked her off me. I looked to see it was Jessica and Elijah.

"Jess, Eli, get Clary and Will out of here now!"

Jess responded and said, "yes sir."

Elijah however was trying to fight off Raven. I stumbled to my feet and ran over to him and knocked him out of the way just as Raven was about to stab him with a knife. The knife however managed to cut my arm. I yelped in pain and rolled out of the way towards Elijah to make sure she didn't advance on him. I was checking on Elijah when I noticed she had disappeared again.

"Where did she go?" Elijah said with concern etched in his voice.

"I don't know, but let's go help Jess with Clary and Will." He nodded and we took off.

We finally made it to the rec room that we stored all the kids in. I came in carrying Will and Elijah was carrying Clary. They both had regained some consciousness, but were still very groggy.

"Is everyone okay" I asked and looked around the room to make sure everyone was still present. Everyone nodded and everyone was still accounted for. I turned to Jessica and Elijah and said, "you two are in charge. I'm going to go help the others."

"Dad" it was Will and he was standing up and walking to me. "I'm coming with you."

"No William." I stopped him by putting a hand on his shoulder. "You are hurt."

"She's too good Dad, You need backup."

I just shook my head and said, "I can't risk you getting hurt."

He just pushed my hand off his shoulder and said, "You and me together are a unstoppable team when we fight together. I'm fine. Let me join you please. Plus what makes you think I'm going to stay in this room after you leave?"

I just sighed knowing I was defeated and said, "fine lets go."

He smirked at me knowing he won and we just turned and left the room. Ready to walk into whatever war we need to go into to find Raven and stop her.

William POV

I was walking down various hallways and entering various rooms with my dad trying to find her. I got a message from Magnus that only said 'it's her'. I immediately knew what he meant, Raven was my sister, Elizabeth. I had to come because I knew if dad could, he would stop her at any cost. Even if that means he would kill her. I know if anyone told him that he killed his daughter he could never live with himself. I have to make sure he doesn't harm her.

We came across a room that looked completely empty and hadn't been used in years, but I noticed a partial footprint on the floor where dust had collected over he years. I motioned to dad and he nodded. This room was huge. It looked to be an old ballroom that was turned into storage. Tables, cabinets, chairs, and weapons were laying everywhere. This probably wasn't the best area to fight in, but it gave her access to more weapons. We quietly made our way through the room trying to find any sign that she was there. Just then the door slammed and the lights flickered on. I turned in surprise and saw her standing by the door clapping her hands.

"Congratulations you found me! It's good to see your not hurt too bad William."

Jace snarled and said, "stop with your jokes. Now either you come over willingly or you fight."

She put a hand to her chin as if she was thinking really hard about what to say, "hmmm as fun as the first option sounds, I think I'd prefer the latter." With that being said she took off towards us with a blade in hand and attacked.

One thing that hasn't change about her is that she never liked being in the defensive side. She was always offensive, even when we were younger. She was quick, agile, strong, and always knew how to read her opponents moves.

She immediately went to dad knowing he was a bigger target. I ran over to them and pulled her off him. She lunges at me and tried to swipe me with her blade, but I was able to successfully dodge her. I managed to twist her arm and she dropped the knife. She slid her foot out and sent me falling to the floor, all awhile jumping up and landing a kick to Jace's head. Dad stumbled back dazed from the hit as she picked up her blade and was about to throw when I called out, "Elizabeth no."

She stopped dead in her tracks and slowly turned to face me. Her face was filled with shock and horror as she said, "how the hell do you know my name?"

I slowly rose to my feet with my hands in the air and said, "please stop Ellie you don't want to do this."

She shook her head, "No. Don't call me that."

I began to walk towards her and she tightened her grip on the blade. I decided to stop, knowing if I stepped any closer she would throw that blade at me. She began to back away slowly, "Who the hell are you?"

I couldn't help, but feel like she may remember something. I had to push in to see what she remembered or thought she remembered. I took another step slowly and said, "You know who I am deep down Ellie, you just have to remember."

She was taking a step back for every step I took towards her. She looks confused, "No I don't know you, I don't know any of you, and I sure as hell don't know how you found out my name!"

She finally hit the wall and I still advanced on her. She pointed her knife at me and I stopped just and arms length away from the knife.

I asked her, "What do you remember from your childhood Elizabeth?"

"Stop. I can't." She looked as if she was in pain.

"Can't what?"

She let out a ragged sigh and said, "Back off or I swear I will lodge this knife down your throat."

"Oh I don't think so."

I turned to see who said that when I saw Alec and Magnus standing in the door way. Alec ran over to Jace to check on his disoriented state. Magnus came walking towards us and flicked his fingers causing the dagger in Elizabeth's hand to fling into the far wall.

Alec spoke from across the room, "I'm taking Jace to the doctor. Do you need me to stay here and help out with her?"

Magnus never took his eyes off her saying, "no I got it handled."

Alec left the room practically carrying Jace. I looked to Magnus to see him studying Elizabeth while she was staring daggers at me.

"What did you do to piss her off?" Magnus asked.

I shrugged and said, "she knows her real name, but doesn't remember who she is."

"Shut up you pathetic little Bit..." she was cut off by Magnus standing in front of her putting a hand over her forehead. She became frozen, but she could still speak.

"What the hell are you doing to me Warlock?"

Magnus closed his eyes and said, "searching."

I looked at him and Elizabeth and I both said, "looking for what exactly?"

She glanced at me and I smirked at her. Oh the good old twin day we talked In unison.

Magnus said, "I'm looking to see who or what is blocking your memories of who you are."

She tried to move, but it was no use, "my memories are fine Warlock. I don't need you prodding around up their messing with..." she didn't get to finish because Magnus knocked her out.

I carried Her out to the doctors where we saw dad when we walked in. He immediately got up and walked over to us taking Elizabeth out of my arms. I followed his as he carried her to a room where some shadow hunters came in and locked her to the bed with handcuffs. The other shadowhunters left and it was just me, my dad, a passed out Elizabeth, and Magnus in the room.

"How did you manage to capture her?" Dad asked.

I shrugged and said, "we fought, I talked to her, Magnus came in and made her pass out."

Jace shook his head not really believing the whole story, "Will tell me the truth, you said something to Raven and she stopped fighting you. What did you say."

Magnus glanced at me and I had glanced at him with a worried expression on my face. Jace obviously saw this and said, "what the hell are you two hiding from us?"

It was Magnus turn to speak, "Look Jace, I need to take this girl to the silent brothers to see if they can prod around in her head to get information. William knew this and he was talking to her about that. She was distracted and confused for a little bit, but that's it."

Jace still looked like he didn't believe us. He sighed and said, "okay I will call for transportation and tell the brothers we are coming in."

The doctors can in and began putting something into her arm with some weird blue liquid. I looked at dad confused and said, "what is that?"

Jace was about to answer when Magnus said, "it's a concoction I came up with. It won't harm her it just keeps her feeling weak. That way if she tries to escape... she won't get very far."

Jace nodded and said, "well I'm going to go check on Clary. I'll be back soon and will inform you both when we will take her to the silent brothers."

Jace walked out of the room and I immediately plopped down in a chair. Magnus dragged a hand through his hair looking flustered and saying, "He doesn't fully believe us, but he is buying it for now."

I just shook my head, "I hate lying to him, but I just don't want to hurt my parents."

Magnus nodded, "well they are going to have to find out eventually whether you tell them or not."
