Jace POV

A couple hours later after talking to the silent brothers we were on our way to the city of bones. Raven was still unconscious and I was carrying her into the room where the silent brothers would be testing her. Memories began to flash back to when I first brought Clary here to do the same thing. She was walking by my side now looking over to me smiling. I'm sure she was having the same memory as well.

One of the silent brothers came up to us and said, "lay her down in the middle, Magnus wake her up."

I sat her down in the middle and watched as Magnus did a spell and she began to stir awake. The silent brothers stepped forward and began to tie chains to her so she wouldn't be escaping.

She looked like she finally stirred fully awake and was coming to her senses. She looked around and said, "What the hell... why am I here?"

She looked over quickly at the silent brother Gadreel and had a look if confusion on her face.

"To hell with that! You are not getting inside my head."

The silent brothers made a circle around her and the mortal sword began to lower. Raven looked up at the sword, "Stop this now! Please!"

I looked at her in shock, she seemed scared. That has to be the first time I've ever heard her beg and be polite about it. Something in her voice made me want to rush over and help her, but I knew I couldn't. The sword finally made its way to her after a few seconds of the silent brothers working on her a flash of bright light lit up the room and threw everyone back.

I crashed into the wall behind me and rolled to the side to see the girl still in the middle of the room, but she was on her knees with her hands gripping either side of her head.

I looked to make sure everyone one was okay. The silent brothers all made there way to her as well did I.

I immediately stopped when I heard, "Stop. You don't want to come near her right now." It was Gadreel who said this to me.

Elizabeth/ Raven POV

I was actually scared of what was about to happen. I never get scared, so why now? The sword was approaching me and I couldn't move. "Stop this now! Please!" I yelled. Jace looked sincerely concerned, but stayed where he was at. Everyone else was staring including Will. Will turned away from me looking sad. Why was he feeling sorry for me?

The sword finally made it to me and a shock of pain immediately hit me.

Dream:

I was watching two kids messing around and walking down the street. The little girl grabbed my attention for some reason. I felt like I knew her. I looked away from them to see two adults walking hand in hand a little ways behind them. They seemed to be happy. Makes me wish I kinda had that life. Wait... what am I thinking... no that's not my life.

Just then I heard the kids scream. I turned around quickly to see a demon approaching them. The little girl stood protectively in front of her brother. The parents took off towards their kids and attacked the demons. The parents look so familiar. I realized it looked like Clary and Jace, but just younger. Jace was knocked down and Clary was trying to protect her children, but a demon came out and was about to grab The boy when the girl shoved him out of the way. The demon grabbed her instead and began to drag her to the portal that was behind them.

I ran over to the girl to try and help but an invisible force wouldn't let me move.

The girl screamed and Clary turned and saw that her daughter was be taking away. She tried to get to her, but she was too late. The demon dragged the girl through the portal and it closed just as she got their.

Clary made sure the boy was okay and they made their way to Jace who was lying still on the ground. She was crying and so was the young boy. They seemed so sad.

Just then the portal opened again, but Clary didn't see it. I decided to go through so I walked over and jumped into the portal.

I realized as soon as I jumped through I was in Edom. I spotted the girl being dragged to a castle that Sebastian and myself lived in and trained at. The girl was crying out for help, but no one was helping her.

"Hello Elizabeth" I turned to see Sebastian staring at the girl from the top of the stairwell. We were in a large room that looked like the ballroom at the institute I had been in only a couple of hours ago.

The little girl had red hair and piercing golden eyes. Her eyes shown with worry and she stuttered, "wh.. who... who are you?"

Sebastian smiled at the girl and said, "I'm your worst nightmare."

I was taken to another area of Edom that I remember all too well. I was in a cottage and there was a house with a lake. I loved the view of it unlike the normal view of waste land in Edom. It was the closest thing to Normal.

I glanced over and saw Sebastian guiding this girl through the house, so I followed. He brought her to a room at then end of the hall. That door was never opened when I lived here. It was always locked, closed. Sebastian opened the door and shoved the girl inside. I was confused why so I went into the room with her and Sebastian. I gasped in surprise by what I saw. It was a torture chamber of sorts. Chains hung from the wall, it was beating hot in the room, there was assorted variety of torture devices payed out on tables.

"Let me go!" The girl yelled and tried to fight away from Sebastian. I knew it was no use. He was to strong. Sebastian threw the girl on he ground and and began to put some weird dye in her hair turning her hair a dark brown almost black.

"Stay still you little Bitch!" He yelled at her. After dying her hair he drug her over to the chains on the wall. She began to scream, but it was no use. No one was there. He locked her in the chains and walked over to the table.

"No!" I yelled, but he couldn't hear me. He was going to torture this poor girl. "Let her go!" I tried again, but it was to no avail.

Sebastian made the girl turn around and brought out a whip. He took his time listening to her beg for him not to do this. He then let the whip slide through the air and aimed it at her back.

All of a sudden I felt a jolt of pain slash my back and I fell to the ground. I heard the girl cry out in pain as I tried to reach her, but more and more slashes came. Every time this girl got slashed so did I. When I looked up the girl was gone and now I was facing the wall in chains. Sebastian stood behind me slashing at my skin with the whip.

I finally realized that this girl was me. Sebastian kidnapped me, brought me to Edom, tortured me, and turned me into a weapon.

The pain was unbearable and I couldn't believe that all these memories were wiped from my memory. I was about to pass out when The scene change to about a year later when I was being bonded to Sebastian. I looked happy and excited to be partners in crime with him, but now... I don't know what I am feeling.

Clary POV

Everyone was watching as Raven was being helped by the silent brothers.

"We can't get her to wake up." One of the silent brothers said this so everyone could hear.

I stepped forward and said, "there must be something you can do.

Gadreel stood up and looked at us, "we broke whatever wall was put up for her memories. They are now all rushing back to her, or bits and pieces are. She is having a panic attack over everything that she is remembering.

Jace stepped beside me and asked, "will she be able to handle all that?"

Gadreel shook his head and said, "I don't know."

Isabel spoke up this time and asked, "can you see what she is remembering?"

Gadreel bent down and put a hand to her head. He stayed like that until Raven began to scream. Gadreel was thrown back by some force and the silent brothers rushed to his side.

I immediately rushed over to Raven with Jace by my side. When I got to her she was screaming, "please! Please make it stop!"

I looked over to Magnus and yelled, "Magnus can you do anything?"

Magnus rushed over and said, "pin her down."

Jace and I each grabbed an arm while Alec and Izy each grabbed a leg. We pinned her to the ground having her laying on her back. Magnus began to do a spell on her to try to get her to calm down, but she just kept thrashing and screaming.

All of a sudden her eyes opened and She was staring straight at the ceiling with tears in her eyes.

"Magnus, look at her eyes" I stated.

We all looked to see her black pupils were trying to change colors. It was a mix of black and gold. I would have thought it was beautiful if it wasn't for another round of screaming and thrashing that started.

Raven cried out, "Please stop. Please let me go Sebastian."

I looked to Jace and he said, "What the hell did he do to her?"

I looked over to Magnus, "magnus..."

He looked concerned, "I can't do anything. She is refusing to wake up."

Just then the thrashing and screaming stopped. She was still breathing heavily, but now she was calming down.

The silent brothers walked over to us, they kneeled down around us and one rested a hand on my shoulder.

"This girl has been through a lot. I couldn't really see what she was remembering, but to cause this reaction there must have been a lot she didn't remember. She must stay with us till she awakens."

"No!" William yelled. I turned to him to see he was standing by the wall. Will had look of concern and frightening features on his face. He continued, "Let her come back with us. She is more comfortable there then she would be here. We will keep an eye on her. Please."

I looked at him confused and asked, "Why?"

Magnus and Alec both agreed with Will. Magnus said, "I agree she would be more accustomed to the institute."

"Very well, but one of us will join you." one of the silent brothers said.

Raven/ Elizabeth POV

Dreaming:

Sebastian attacked me and I easily blocked him by stepping to the side and sweeping my leg out causing him to fall to the ground. He picked himself up and drew his sword, I followed in pursuit.

I was having another memory. This was when I first ever beat Sebastian in a fight and he said I was ready to do missions with him.

I slashed my sword at him and he blocked it with ease. We fought for a while him staying defensive and me being offensive. I decided to try a new trick I had learned to throw off my opponent. Sebastian thought he saw an opening and lunge at me with the sword. I stoped his momentum which caused him to stumble slightly. I dropped my sword in front of him and flipped over him. I landed in a crouch as he turned around ready to swing the sword at me again, but he looked down at the last second and saw I had him beat. When he was turning around I grabbed the sword from under him and drew it up to his... well let's just say an area he definitely doesn't want any sharp objects around.

I looked up at him with a slight grin on my face. He looked down at me with a scowl. Slowly but surely his features changed and he was laughing. Looking back now, I don't know why his laugh didn't give me the creeps back then.

"Good job Elizabeth, or should I say Raven."

I smiled up at him and said, "so your letting me join you in missions now?"

He just nodded and walked away.

I was jumped to another memory of when I just got back from a mission and I was taking a creature to the cells we had in the basement. After locking the creature up to be questioned by Sebastian and myself later I heard someone cough from a far cell. I walked down curious to see who was in the cell. When I peered in I saw a many who looked just like Sebastian, but with green eyes and white blonde hair. I stood their staring at him a dm he back at me.

"What are you doing over here?" I heard a voice ask from behind me. I turned to see Sebastian standing there looking down at me with a blank expression.

"I heard a noise and I came here to see him. Sebastian he looks just like you. Who is he?"

He shook his head and said, "this is the other part of me. Remember when I told you I was brought back?" I nodded and he continued, "well for me to be brought back so did he. He was weak so the demon who rose me from the dead split us in two. He is the weak side of me."

The man inside the cage decided to speak, "Weak really Sebastian? Last time I checked I was just as good of a fighter as you are."

Sebastian laughed and said, "No Johnathan, that was 8 years ago we last fought. You have been in here ever since. 8 years can sure make a difference."

Johnathan laughed and began to cough and said, "You want to test that little theory of yours out?"

Sebastian laughed and said, "Your delusional brother. I'm not going to fight you, maybe one day."

Sebastian began to walk away when Johnathan turned his attention to me and said, "When you get a chance, run, leave, never come back. You don't belong here. He is only nice to you because he is making you into his weapon. He will kill you when he gets the chance."

Sebastian stopped in his track and stormed back over to us, "You Shut your mouth you pathetic son of a Bitch!" Sebastian turned to me and continued, "Don't listen to him. We need to do more training, let's go. Oh and Johnathan..." Sebastian turned around to look at him, "you better watch what you say. I would think you will want to live to see your sister again."

With that said, Sebastian grabbed my arm and pulled me up the stairs away from whatever Johnathan was yelling at him for what he just said.
