Steve has never won the attention of any girl… ever. To have full on attention from one now definitely caught him off guard. The super soldier serum may have given him the physical advantages, but it didn't help at all with skills with girls.
Before he knew what to do, she was upon him like a pouncing panther. The blond grabbed his tie and forced her lips onto his. His instincts were telling him to do something, but he just froze. His mind just flew to Peggy but he couldn't move. Steve let her move her mouth against his. His mind may have screamed no, but his body said otherwise. Steve felt himself kissing her back, beginning to move his hand around her waist.
"Captain!" an undoubtedly familiar voice said. Steve jerked away from the clingy girl hanging onto his shirt.
"They're ready for you… if you're not otherwise occupied." Peggy muttered bitterly. Steve's heart nearly stopped as he stared at Peggy dumbly. She looked at him with fire in her eyes before spinning on her heels and stalking away. Steve stumbled around the girl who was still staring at him seductively. Rogers fell in step behind Peggy with his mind spinning.
'Stupid!' he thought. What was he thinking? He wasn't one of those guys who picked up girls left and right. He was better than that… and Peggy…
Steve sighed. Being a super soldier would be harder than he thought.
