A naked Riley and Maya both walked out of the shower nude with one towel wrapped around their bodies. The two walked right near each other giggling as they walked into Riley's room and approached her bed. The two both tripped and fell on the bed. The towel remained on the floor as Maya lay on the bed on her back while Riley laid on the bed on her front. They continued to giggle a bit and then finally Riley spoke.
Riley: That was an amazing bath. So what do you want to do today Peaches?
Maya: How about for once: nothing Honey. Lets just lay down and relax for a whole day.

Riley: Maya... are you worried I won't have time for you as we get older? I will always make time for you. I won't marry any man who won't let you hang out with us sometimes. Plus, I'll invite you over to help take care of our kids. You'd be like a second mom to them. They'll love you so much.
Maya: Hey. If I don't get a job by then, can I be your live in nanny?
Riley: I guess but... what if you get married and have kids first?
Maya: I don't know if I'll ever get married Riley. But I sure am probably not gonna have kids.
Riley: What not Maya? You'd be a great mom.

Riley: Maya, what's wrong?
Maya: I'm never gonna be a mom Riley because... I can't get pregnant.
Riley: What?
Maya: It was during a doctor's examination. It's a rare genetic trait found on my mom's side of the family. My aunt, great aunt, and some other distant relatives have it. I can't produce eggs that are capable of... well basically, I'll never have children Riley. I'll never have a son or daughter who will call me mommy.
Riley: Oh my gosh. Maya, I am so sorry.
Maya: You know, at first I thought it be great. As soon as I moved out of my mom's place, I could have sex as often as I'd want with any guy without protection and never worry about how that would affect a potential new life. But then I realized... the beauty of sex with somebody without the beauty of eventually creating at least once: a human life... it just seems pointless.
Riley: But Maya you can adopt. Use a surrogate woman who could be used to...
Maya: It wouldn't be my child though. I have no cousins Riley. Not even distant ones. The Hart/ Clutterbuckett family line is going to end with me. It all ends with me being alone. No child to love me and probably no man to love me.
Riley then suddenly hugged Maya tightly.
Riley: No matter what, I will always love you. My family is your family. My children: you can help take care of. The help you will one day provide for my kids will impact them. You may not continue your family name, but your life will continue to have meaning and purpose.
Maya: Thanks Riles.

Maya took Riley's hand and led her to the bed. Riley and Maya both began to cuddle.
Riley: So... what are we now Maya?
Maya: Just two women who love each other. Does anything else need to be said?
