Sweat poured down my back as I finished stitching up the tattered wolf before me. It had taken a total of four hours to find and fix all the injuries. Dang I'm tired, but my job's not over yet. Walking out of my guest room that I was using as a makeshift hospital at the moment, I saw the other wolf lying down in front of the doorway, slightly to the side so I could walk by. Bending down towards him, I scanned him quickly. He truly had a beautifully colored coat and a rare one at that. His coat was red, though dirty from an interesting night no doubt, I knew it would shine brilliantly if he was all cleaned up. Hearing my movements the red colored wolf looked up at me, his bright jade colored eyes watching me curiously.

"He'll be okay, he just needs some rest." I spoke softly to the beast who let out a sigh of relief, relaxing considerably from beforehand. I smiled at him, knowing he had been worried. "Come on, it's your turn." I said standing up and motioning him to follow. He watched me for a second before struggling his way up to follow me as I led him to my living room, which was right down the hall from the guest bedroom his friend was in.

I collected a few items before heading to couch to sit and work on my next patient. Though yes, animal physique is different from humans, I had taken a few courses in veterinarian stuff in school, so I at least knew the basics on taking care of their injuries. Combine that knowledge with my doctor knowledge and bam! I saved a life! Boo Yeah, dawg!...or wolf…

"Come here dear." I said softy towards the wolf, patting the spot next to me as he walked over to it. I helped him get situated on the couch before examining his leg that was bugging him. It seemed like nothing major, just a simple stress sprain, easy fix. Along with it though, he had some bite marks and cuts scattered over his body just like his friend.

"Hmmm..." I mumbled thinking. The wolf looked at me curiously. "You two had a bad fight by the looks of it." I said out loud as I cleaned his cuts, he continuing to look at me as I worked. "But it wasn't just with wolfs, was it?" I continued my train of thought out loud.

He looked shocked at my conclusions, making me laugh lightly towards him while I bandaged one of his injuries. "You think I wouldn't notice? Me, the one who noticed the wounds you were hiding." I said with a light sarcastic tone, smirking at him. He stared at me for a few second before giving a wolfie smirk of his own.

Silence filled the room as I finished my work, fixing his leg into a position that would help it heal better. Patting his back I stood up as I spoke again. "Sleep, you need it." He nodded at my words before looking down the hall were his friend was. "He's okay, you both are. Just relax for now." The wolf continued to look down the hallway even as I spoke, worry still very evident in his eyes. Sighing I turned around and began heading to the stairs that led upstairs to my room. I stopped briefly at the edge of the living room, turning my head back towards the wolf. "Whoever's after you two won't get to y'all while you two are here." I finished watching as he looked at me, a flash of something passing through his eyes before disappearing quickly. Smiling at him one more time, I headed up stairs to my bedroom. Walking in, I looked at the clock as 5:45 AM read in bright red on it. Welp, looks like I'm calling in sick tomorrow...or today…or-wait what? Uh! I don't know! I just want meh sleep! Maybe I should just call in sick for the rest of the week as well. I looked back, as I considered it. "Well, I do have two huge wolves crashing at my place …..Yeah, probably wise to stay home."

Two days had passed since Rey had found the wolves. The very injured one had been sleeping the whole time, his body trying to heal all the damages done to it. The red wolf had been by his friend's side the whole time, only leaving when Rey would force him to. She had stayed home these past two days to watch both of the beasts and take care of them.

On the third day, Rey walked downstairs, wanting to check on the wolves. Entering the living room, Rey found that the red wolf was no longer on the couch. Smiling to herself and laughing lightly she looked down the hallway already knowing where he went. Knowing they'd be fine, she walked to the kitchen starting breakfast for herself and her guests.

The door to the room that held the two healing wolves was closed, as inside, a meeting of sorts occurred. Thinking the human was still asleep, the two wolfs had changed into their human forms. The badly injured wolf, now human, sat on the bed he had been resting on the past two days. His bright blonde hair slicking up from massive bedhead, his cerulean blue eyes twinkling in the morning light, as his sun kissed skin popped against the bright white bandages covering his toned muscular physique. He was facing his friend, the red wolf who was now human as well. The red wolf had turned into a handsome human having a full head of bright, dashing red hair, a huge contrast to his fair complex, while his eyes were a shining jade green. He was leaning against the wall to the side of the bed in the room as he and his companion conversed, his arms crossed over his toned chest.

"We need to leave." The red head spoke clearly and confidently.

"I agree, but when?" The blonde responded to his friend, tilting his head to the side in concentration.

Sighing, the green eyed man shook his head. "I do not know, but if we stay here any longer..." The man let the sentence fade from his lips knowing his companion already understand what he meant.

"We risk too much." The blonde said gravely, his eyes turning hard as he looked off into space, thinking over many things. The red haired nodded in agreement. "Does the human know?"

"No. I do not think she works for them, either. I looked around and it seems she is truly a doctor." The man explained to the blue eyed one.

"Hmm..." The blonde nodded, knowing this made the situation easier. "We leave tonight then." He finished, looking up at his friend to see if that was alright with him.

The green eyed man nodded in agreement. "That'd be the best time."

"Midnight then?" The blonde asked, making sure they had a good enough plan before doing anything. The red haired man was about to nod towards the man in front of him, before of them froze, backs going rigid.

"Now, that's just mean, planning to leave without even telling me." Both of the men turned to face the human that had been helping them. Her black colored hair in a ponytail as her blue eyes sparkled in amusement. Pursing her lips in a pout and her arms crossed over her chest, she stood in the doorway to the room. The two humans in said room, stood up at attention, knowing this was not good. They looked towards each other, wondering what their next move should be.

"Uh..." Was the only response the women received from them. Rey laughed at the boys for their reply; however, she was the only one laughing. The red headed male had his mouth set in a tight line as the blonde held a blank look, his eyes hard. They both knew just how dangerous a situation like this can be.

Rey looked at them, her smile and laughter stopped as her face morphed into a serious expression. Both males readied themselves for the incoming dangers. Whether they needed to fight or get out of there quickly, they were prepared. Rey looked them dead on as she spoke. "I don't know who you think you are, but..."She paused, her voice holding a deadly tone, causing the two in front of her tense up.

"If you think I'm about to let two of my patients walk out still injured, you got another thing coming at you boys!" Rey glared at the males for even thinking of leaving as she tapped her foot repeatedly on the ground, arms still crossed. She was radiating anger like nobody's business. She also had a huge ich to give them a good butt whooping, but they were already injured enough, so she let the urge slide.

The two men in front of the furious women stood there completely and utterly confused. Like wha? Seeing this confusion, Rey walked up to the two quickly, while pointing an accusing finger at them. "You both are still injured! Especially you blondie! You." She poked said blonde in the chest. "Stay." She poked him again causing him to stumble back as she still advanced on him; all the while the two males watched her with wide eyes. "Till I say otherwise!" She continued to poke him a few more times, making sure the point was across before turning onto the red haired male, he gulped seeing the look in her eyes. "Doctors' orders! You have a problem with that? Too bad!" She said, raising her voice just loud enough to make them both flinch. She looked between the boys before finishing what she was saying. "Understood?!" They nodded towards her, to afraid and shocked to talk.

" Good. Now, ya hungry? I made breakfast." She said as she smiled towards the two, her scary attitude from before completely gone. The two men still looked on in shock at her complete one eighty of a personality change.

"Well come on! " She happily chirped as she headed back to the kitchen. Both men looked at each other again, thinking the same thing, what had they just gotten themselves into. They then, quickly snapped their head in the direction of the door as the woman stuck her head back in.

"Oh, before you come on, please at least put some pants on." She spoke towards the two still in the room. "There should be some sweats in there." She finished pointing towards the closet on the other end of the room before quickly leaving them be.

The blonde haired man chuckled as he walked towards the closet. "Guess we're staying for the time being after all, Gaara."

The red haired male chuckled as well. "I guess so."
