Fourteen years ago Emily and Alison broke up halfway through Alison's pregnancy; Emily took Lily, leaving Grace with Alison. Thirteen years later Grace finds a picture in her mother's desk and reunites with her sister, and they begin to put the pieces together, with the hope they can also reunite their moms. An emison romance with a Lidnsey Lohan twist (minus the DUIs).

2. NOT AN UPDATE

Hey guys, announcement!

So this is only one chapter, and I'm probably overstepping myself for posting just to say I don't have an update because it's not THAT popular but I thought I'd give some people a type of closure. I still get the occasional message about this so I thought I'd give you an explanation.

So first of all I wrote this at the height of emison, the final season was just coming out, we were getting material like never before and I had so much inspiration. Now that it's over, well, it's kinda over. I still love emison, probably will for awhile because they were one of my first canon endgame ships but I kinda moved with the migration ya know?

Second of all, this idea never should've been written much less published. I was tooling around with a couple ideas with my mentor and she jumped on that one even though I didn't love it that much. I was desperate to impress her and kept working on it, so already bad motivation. Then I jumped the gun on publishing it because I vastly underestimated the work it would take to get to the next chapter.

Third, this won't be updated. My mentor and I had very different styles of writing, and very different processes, and while we were great friends being mentor and mentee was not a great idea for us. I'm not crazy about the idea, and I've moved on to gayer pastures.

So if you like the idea and want to write something for it just message me either on tumblr, or on here, and ask for my notes. It was actually a pretty solid angst idea and might've been highkey great but alas, life got in the way. I have some OCs written for this, most of an outline, some character bios, a couple scenes… it's alright stuff but it's not great.

In other news my gayer pastures are clexa and I should feel bad because they haven't been canon in so long but shut up. I've been writing a shit ton for them (100k+ words) and I might get the courage to actually publish some of it soon so if you like clexa you should stick around because it might never happen but it also might and isn't that the fun of fanfic?

It's not but whatever.
