Chapter 24

Cissie's POV

"Everybody in their positions?" Nightwing asked through the communicator

"Yeah "Wonder girl answered grumpily

"Ok c'mon guys" Artemis told us running through random halls.

"Where are we going?" Bart whispered

"I don't know. Ask Artemis or Nightwing" I answered.

We turned around a corner only to find several of Deathstroke's thugs

"Told you, you should have let me lead the way" Nightwing teases Artemis

"Shut up" Artemis growled at him

Bart's POV

As soon as the thugs saw us they attacked us

There were about eight of them so Nightwing and Artemis took four of them down easily and were still trying to knock out the other two. I easily took out the thug that tried to attack me but apparently Cissie was having some trouble.

The thug was about to hit her when I jumped in front of her and knocked out the thug myself.

I quickly spun around "Arrowette are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine. Thank you" she smiled gratefully at me.

We heard a cough from behind us and we spun around to see Artemis and Nightwing

"If you two are done with your little love fest me and Nightwing would like to get back to the mission" Artemis said smirking.

Me and Cissie slightly blushed at the comment and continued walking. They kept walking for quite a while until we came to a dead end.

"This can't be the right way" Artemis huffed

"Actually it is" Nightwing said in his usual calm voice.

He took a few steps and slightly pushed the wall causing it to move .

"A secret passage. How didn't I see that coming?" Cissie said voice full of sarcasm.

"C'mon guys" Nightwing said leading us the way.

We went through the secret passage to find a dark room. In the middle there was some light and…Green Arrow

"GA!" Artemis and Arrowette shout in happiness

They both ran to untie him from the chair he was in. He was a bit ruffled up and there was a bit of blood on his nose.

"Hey you guys' Green Arrow managed to cough up.

"Shhh. Don't worry. You're safe now" Artemis told him

They helped him get up and out of the building.

When we got back everyone was happy to see GA. Especially Black Canary.

"Ollie! I was so worried. You're back!" Dinah said happily

"Yeah I am." He told her.

"Nice to see them back together" I said to myself

"Yeah…"

I turned around to see Cissie out of her Arrowette costume. I give her a smile and she walkes over to me.

"Hey"

"Hi"

"So think it's time to tell them? Cissie asks

"I'm waiing for Black Canary to take away his arrows first…"'
