Hello everyone!
I know I said I was going to finish 7 Things…. However I will not be able to. Within the last year… something has happened to me where I am simply unable to finish this story. I've tried to write chapter 8… and I started writing an after war story and that seemed to be going pretty well...however I simply can't carry on with this story any longer. So here I am, telling all of you who have read and followed this story from the beginning basically, and even those of you who are new to reading this story I felt like I owed you all a notice and an explanation.
So, the reason I am unable to continue writing 7 things is because me and my best friend (best friend of eleven years mind you all), are no longer friends at all. We do not even speak to each other anymore. She pretty much cut me out of her life for no reason at all and I have tried many times over the last year to try and talk to her and to work on her friendship but she would rather have a boy (whose fault this all is to begin with) be in her life than her best friend and work on her friendship with him than her best friend of eleven years… so instead of trying to work this out like the 24 year olds that we are… she decided to just cut me out of her life completely…
With all this said, it personally...felt weird and it hurt to try and to continue this story on as if her and I were friends. Shibano was her character, Shibano and LIna's friendship was very closely based on our own friendship...and since we are no longer friends, it feels wrong to write her character. And quite frankly, it hurts to continue on writing her character as well as her and Lina's friendship as if nothing happened. I am simply unable to do it as it has to much of an emotional connection to me.
My best friend and I had created Shibano and Lina back when we were 12/13 years old in the 8th grade and as we grew up they grew up. We had developed them to the smallest details… and it'll feel weird to continue writing Shibano as if her creator and I were still friends.
HOWEVER! I WILL BE RE-WRITING THE STORY!
I'll be rewriting it for many reasons, and here they are.
I started writing this story back in high school… and it's very obvious that this story has been written over a long period of time as the writing style has contiued to change and, I at least like to think, has gotten better.
I want to introduce a new character, Souta, who has always originally been apart of the story but was never going to be introduced until Shippuden.
I have new ideas on what to do with Lina. I have rebuilt her as a character seeing as Shibano is no longer existing. Shibano was a big part of Lina's character and her character development and seeing as she no longer exists I will have to re-create Lina, which I have done for the revision. I happen to think this new Lina is a bit more… real I feel like.
So that's all, and I will be posting this new story up very soon! Be on the look out! (I'll make sure to put 7 things revision in the summary!)
