A/N: I am overly sorry I have been so busy lately my computer's hard drive crashed. I had to have it fixed luckily I was able to save my stories but that was about all I could save from the previous hard drive. I am trying to write out a few chapters ahead. So hopefully I can get back to updating more frequently. I hope you all can forgive me. :) I hope you like the new chapter, someone has arrived. Bare with me for the next chapter I will be traveling to Houston, TX tomorrow. So i will be pretty busy.
Sirius pulled back looking in to her lust filled eyes. "I want you the way I know you want me."
No more words were spoken as she wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him back to her.
Lucius glided down the hall with a dark aura pulsing off of him. People passing him in the halls of St. Mungos quickly moved out of his way seeing the deadly look in his eyes. Reaching the Malfoy ward of the hospital, Lucius could hear everything being said.
"Little bitch," Someone growled. "Who the hell did she think she was? I'll have her before the Wizengamot. She has no idea who she just messed with."
"Apparently Collins, she doesn't care. I told you one day your flirting would end you up hurt. Hold still so I can fix your arm."
"She'll be taught a lesson trust me."
Lucius had heard enough slamming open the ward door. "Trust me the one learning the lesson shall be you." Lucius growled seeing head Healer Collins of the ward, the Malfoy family funded.
" Mr. Malfoy, what a surprise to have you in our ward today?" Healer Collins stood paling slightly seeing the man that paid his paycheck. He winced slightly as his arm had not been fixed.
Lucius' eyes zero in on the broken arm. "I see you have had an accident want to explain that to me." Lucius' voice made it clear there was no room for arguing.
"Sir, a death eater was brought in. There was no way I was going to help him not after the role he played in the war. A woman came in after him, she went crazy when I wouldn't help him and broke my arm." Collins quickly explained. "I will be placing charges against this woman."
"Harassment is also frowned upon by them as well." Lucius stated watching the man before him pale even further. "I am sure they would love the information you forgot them mention me. The little bitch as you called her is my younger sister. You put your hands on her. The death eater you refused to help was in fact Severus Snape, war hero, who was a spy. You don't mind a former death eater's money filling your vault."
Lucius stepped forward coming nose to nose with the wizard before him. "You can have you office cleaned out in an hour and I want you out of my ward. Your replacement will be in by the morning."
"You can't fire me!" The healer yelled coming undone.
Lucius growled as his hand unlocked his wand from his cane.
"Lucius!" Narcissa hissed walking in the ward. "Enough."
Lucius instantly composed himself locking his wand back in place.
"In fact you will find I can. Besides funding the ward you work in. I am in on the board of directors for this hospital. Now get out." Lucius turned sharply with Narcissa following at his side.
"I am surprise you haven't fired the entire ward."
"I'm surprised it took you so long to catch up with me." Lucius smirked taking her hand in his.
Back at Malfoy Manor
"Why did you have the stupid idea of trying to make me hate you?" Hermione asked never truly understanding that notion.
"I had been trying so very hard not to make a move on you," Sirius shrugged rubbing his hands together. "Remus told me to stay away."
"You don't listen very well." Hermione stated raising a brow.
Sirius frowned at her words again seeing her double meaning. "Unfortunately one of my many flaws."
"Indeed." She agreed running her fingers through her hair.
Hermione watched an emotion cross Sirius' face It was a mixture or regret and betrayal.
"Did Remus know?" Sirius demanded.
"Know What?" She questioned leaning against one of the book cases.
"About our child?" he growled as his eyes snapped to hers.
"No." Hermione answered instantly. "No one outside of this home knew. If Remus knew he would have come straight to you. I suggest you direct your anger somewhere else, Sirius."
Sirius looked at the ornate ceiling of the library taking a deep breath looking back to Hermione. "It's not you. Trust me."
"It's not me, its Remus." Hermione stood Her eyes narrowed looking over him over his neck was turning red. "I can see how angry you are. That rage is right below the surface, boiling. So what brainless thought has you so angry?"
"That Remus held more than care for you then what I knew. How do I know he didn't want you for himself." Sirius growled.
Hermione's hand drew back faster than she realized letting her palm connect with the side of Sirius's face. His face snapped to the side, his hair covering his face. "How dare you question Remus' loyalty like that? That one sentence not only question his but my loyalty while we were together. I-" Hermione froze taking a small breath. Hermione smelt blood, instantly she forced herself not to breathe in.
"I'm sorry. Once again I have screwed up. I wasn't not questioning you about your loyalty to me; during that time. I know you were loyal to me; as I was to you." Sirius finished looking back at Hermione. Her eyes were red, fangs elongated. "Hermione are you-"
Sirius felt himself slammed into the bookshelf behind him, being pinned in place. Hermione's hand on his chest held him in place.
"I'm sorry Sirius. Your blood, it's- intoxicating. I can't control myself." Hermione's blood red eyes looked into his. "Please don't scream."
Grabbing his hair she pulled his head to the side sinking her teeth into his neck, hearing a loud gasp from him as her fangs pierced his skin. His blood pour into her mouth, her eyes rolled back letting out a moan pressing her body closer into his. Sirius gently tried to push her away, even with the pain he was in but He couldn't Hermione held him to tightly. He could slowly feel himself becoming weaker. "Hermione, please stop." Sirius whispered weakly. Sirius could feel the blood running down his chest and back. The warm blood slipped out beginning to turn his body cold.
The world around her had faded away, the only sound she could hear was the sound of Sirius' beating heart. The sound of his heart began to slow as she heard Hermione, please stop. In her haze her thoughts of right and wrong blur together. She couldn't stop; couldn't let go.
Hermione felt herself ripped away from Sirius' neck to the other side of the library, gazing up into the onyx eyes of Severus Snape, holding his out his wand placing himself between Hermione and Sirius.
"Leave the library, Hermione, now." Severus barked at her.
Hermione said nothing back away, her widen eyes rested on Sirius pale form propped against the book case. Blood covered the shelf, as well as Sirius and the wall were he slide down to the floor.
"It's not your fault, Hermione." Sirius gurgle as blood coated his mouth, his gray eyes looking only at Hermione.
"Hermione, come with me." Lucius' voice spoke behind her, his hands pulled her from the room.
"Narcissa, I will need your help so this fool doesn't die." Severus said quickly turning around, going to Sirius, he began closing the wounds as best as he could. Vampire wound being hard to heal where causing him some problems. "He will need a lot of potions. I have them but they are at Hogwarts. Narcissa get him three blood replenishing potions to start him off with. I will be back with the rest shortly."
Narcissa nodded calling for a house elf; that instantly appeared in front of her. "Move Sirius to a room, gently. You must be very careful, he is hurt. Give him three blood replenishing potions. Understood?"
"Of course Mistress." The house elf bowed disappearing taking Sirius with.
Narcissa moved quickly down the halls to the room Sirius had be moved too. Narcissa opened the door of the room, seeing Sirius laying on the bed his shirt had been removed. She could see the wounds on Sirius's neck. While Severus had nearly healed them blood still slowly dripped out of his wounds. As Severus crossed her thoughts, the man appeared at the door.
"Good your here." Severus noted instantly pouring potions down Sirius' throat. "These should heal the damage done on the inside. Hopefully the spell I preformed to slow his blood will help."
"Will there be any lasting damage?" Narcissa asked grabbing a rag from the bowl of water that had appeared on the night stand, cleaning the small amount of blood from her cousin.
"No," Severus said simply not making any cracks about Sirius already being damaged. "Although if I hadn't returned, when I did. She might have killed him. Not that it particularly matters to me."
"It matters to her, Severus." She said looking over to her husband's long time friend.
"Unfortunately. I will go let her know the fool is still living." Severus stated sweeping from the room.
Lucius took his Sister to the gardens far enough away from the house. "Hermione, do not berate yourself. I know somehow this is his fault."
"Of course he said something stupid, " Hermione bit out running her hands through her hair. " I should have more control then this." She said walking through the gardens looking for the other side that would let her out near the woods.
"What did he say to make you lose control?" Lucius asked keeping up with Hermione.
"It's not what he said that made me lose my control, Lucius, I slapped him." Hermione stated looking left and right in the maze.
"Take a right." Lucius commanded.
Hermione took the right coming out to a clearing. "When I slapped him the ring cut his face. His blood made me lose control." She paused turning back to Lucius, with tears in her eyes. "I could have killed him Lucius. I am a monster. I have only succeeded in hurting people I love. I shouldn't be alive."
Lucius pulled out his wand vanishing the blood that coated the front of her body; before sliding it back into his sleeve. Placing his hand on his sister shoulders her made her look into his eyes. "Once again, I will tell you, you are not a monster. My sweet sister no one I know has a better heart than you; a truly forgiven heart." Hermione knew at this instant he wasn't speaking of Sirius and herself but of her being able to forgive Lucius for the man he had been.
"You could have killed Black but you didn't-"
"Only because Severus came back, once again cleaning up my mess." Hermione hissed feeling more tears leak out of her eyes. "I am so sick of crying."
"Then stop crying," Lucius smirked. "Malfoy's do not cry."
"Malfoy's don't do a lot of things according to you, brother."
Lucius shrugged his shoulders innocently.
"Yet, you should by now be aware I won't listen to you." Hermione looked at her brother giving him a knowing smirk.
"So I have noticed." He agreed.
Hermione turned wrapping her arms around her brothers waist. "I love you Lucius. Thank you for everything."
His large arms wrapped arms around her placing a small kiss on her forehead. " I love you too. You have no need to thank me for anything. You're family no matter when you arrived. I'll protect you from everything even your own darkness."
Hermione's heart swelled with love until a voice broke the silence.
"Aw how touching."
Hermione instantly swung around placing her brother behind her. A man stood leaned against the tree; with one leg crossing the other. His relaxed figure, dressed in black dress pants with a dark blue button up; the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. The man's red eyes focused on Hermione.
"Come now princess; aren't you happy to see me?" He smirked.
" I'll be happy to see you; when you are dead Viktor."
A/N: Now someone is here for you to hate more than Sirius. The man who really ruined Hermione's life.
