Hey guys sorry about not updating a new chapter sooner, I was just thinking about what team I should place him in and what sensei he might have. His jutsu so far would only be based on taijutsu since he been with the Hyūga family, a clan specialized in the area maybe later on he might learn ninjutsu too. Well here goes.
Chapter three: Graduation!
It's been three long and painful years for Naruto and Hinata. For Naruto is because of Sasuke Uchiha and his fangirls. It stopped when the shocker of Konohagakure no sato happened a year ago, it was the death of the Uchiha clan. Itachi Uchiha, the hailed prodigy of the famed Uchiha clan, has killed his own except for Sasuke. Ever since that day Sasuke has started becoming withdrawn from everyone and constantly putting other people down. Naruto had his suspicion of why Itachi had left Sasuke lived if he did went "insane", so during midnight he broke into the Hokage tower, heading towards where all the classified profiles of ninjas are kept. When Naruto got inside the office, he began his search for Itachi's profile. He skimmed through it and what he found out shocked him to the very core. "Danzō…" He thought darkly before putting back the file where he found them and when back home.
Ever since he found out the truth about the Uchiha massacre he threw himself in training, trying to become strong enough to prevent anything like it again and also to protect his family from harm. Hiashi saw that Naruto puts more effort in training and couldn't help but ask what motivated for him to train harder; the only reply that he received was "To protect my family." Hiashi at first was skeptical because he thought there was more to it then the reason he told him but he let it go of his suspicion because of the efforts that Naruto puts in training.
-Present day-
Naruto's eyes fluttered open and groaned while getting up from his slumber and mumbled under his breath that sounded suspiciously like "waking up" and "ungodly hours" before walking towards the bathroom to start his day. Today was the day that he and Hinata were waiting for. Today was the graduation exam, he was exited that he finally gets out of the hell hole called academy. He always thought that the academy was nothing more than a waste of time for the clans in Konoha, especially Naruto, but he grit is teeth stayed level headed and his patience has pay off, once he got dress he went towards the kitchen to get something to eat, one his way he meets up with Hinata like every other day. They are both started towards the kitchen, both happy about finally graduating and become shinobi of the Leaf village.
After Naruto and Hinata ate breakfast they started heading towards the Ninja Academy. When they arrived they noticed they were a bit early so they headed towards that back of the class. Few minutes later everyone started coming into the classroom and chatted with their friends, also happy about finally graduating from the academy and become shinobi. The chūnin teacher, Iruka and Mizuki, had finally arrived into the classroom. When they looked around they noticed nobody pay them any attention, so Iruka cleared his throat, they stayed pay no attention. Iruka's eyebrow twitched with a tick mark, he took a deep breath before he yelled out. "SHUT UP AND LISTEN UP!" everyone stopped talking and faced the angry Iruka. Naruto watched all this happening with a huge sweat drop behind his head.
"Now that I have gained all of your attention we will now precede with the graduation exams…" and he started explaining the rules and started calling students in. most of the clan heirs passed their exam and they're now shionbi of the leaf. Naruto was brought out of his thoughts when he heard Iruka called his name and started walking to the testing room.
"Okay now Naruto, I will test you in the three Academy jutsu. First perform the transformation jutsu." In poof smoke Naruto was replaced with an older woman of medium height with dark purple hair that reaches t her back, the traditional long-sleeved traditional Kimimo-styled dress with dress skirt also with low-heeled sandals with a white obi around her waist. In another poof of smoke Naruto ended his transformation.
"Good job Naruto. Just being curious, who was it that you transform into?" Iruka asked. Naruto looked him like he was studying what kind of person he is before answering. "It was my mother." Iruka could notice the emotions he said it in, sadness.
"Oh, well moving on, now perform the substitution jutsu." He said as he threw a blunt kunai to Naruto. The said boy replaced himself with a chair that was empty. "Good. Now for the next and final jutsu, the clone jutsu." He was about to continue before Naruto interrupted him. "Iruka-sensei does it has to be the clone jutsu?" he asked curiously
Iruka hummed putting his thoughts together before answering the question. "No not that necessarily if you have any type of other clone jutsus." Naruto only nodded before putting his hands into a cross seals and in a puff of smoke an exact replica of Naruto appeared next to him. Iruka's jaws dropped when he saw Naruto performing an A-rank forbidden jutsu. "He doesn't even look slightly winded at all!" he exclaimed inside his mind. Mizuki, who was sitting next to Iruka, was seething mad because Naruto passed the exam. "Damn him, he ruined my plans to steal the forbidden scroll of sealing." He thought angrily before he put on his neutral mask on again. Naruto saw Mizuki seething from the corner of his eyes before he turned around and headed out the door but he had one thought in mind. "He's up to something."
-Later- that night-
Naruto was sitting on top of the roof in one of the houses in the clan compound, enjoying the breezing of the night, but if anyone look closely, one could see him with his Byagukan activated scanning the surrounding forest. "Where is he?" He muttered under his breath before he spotted him running through the forest. "There you are." He muttered with anticipation in his voice before getting up gone after him. Hiashi came out of the shadows looking at the way Naruto took to. "Be careful, Naruto." He said to himself before heading back to his house.
Naruto landing on a tree branch watching the events that's happening between Iruka and Mizuki, he couldn't make out of what they were saying to each other, so instead of waiting on the sidelines he decided too. Mizuki was about to throw a demon wind shuriken at Iruka before a yellow blur kicked Mizuki on the face and grabs the shuriken before he stopped. Mizuki and Iruka thought at the same time. "Has reinforcement arrived?" When the person stopped, they were surprised of who it was, standing right before them was someone they least expected, it was Naruto Hyūga.
"Well so I was right, you really were up to something Mizuki." Naruto spoke up dropping the "sensei" off, started walking towards them before stopping next to Iruka. Mizuki scowled. "Look who decided to show up." Sneered Mizuki, cursing his luck also since Naruto is there, his chance of escaping were thrown out the window the moment Naruto arrived, since his eyes are far the strongest in the whole Hyūga clan.
"Well Naruto you want me to let you in a little secret?" asked/sneered Mizuki, Iruka was listening up until spoke up. "No Mizuki you can't say anything it's forbidden for a reason!" Mizuki just scoffed not really paying Iruka any attention. Naruto narrowed his eyes and said nothing, he thinks he have a pretty good idea what he was trying to say. "You want to know why you are hated in the village you love so much?" he asked again not really caring. Finally Naruto had said something. "Just say what you want to say, already. You are wasting my time." Naruto stated in a monotone. Mizuki scowled but comply anyways. "The reason why everyone hates you is because the Fourth Hokage didn't kill the Nine-Tailed Fox. He sealed it inside an infant. That baby was you Naruto! You are the Nine-Tails in human form!" Mizuki shouted before laughing like maniac before he composed himself and looked towards Naruto. Said blonde chuckled before he started laughing. Mizuki was confused and angry. "He was supposed to break down not suppose to laugh it off!" he shouted in his mind, Iruka was also confused but was curious as well. After a while Naruto had finally composed himself with a dark look. "I found out about the fox when I was six, hell I even talked to him also." He sighed before he glared dangerously at Mizuki, who was utterly shocked about the information he just learned.
"Anyways now that I know you're the one who stole the forbidden scroll of sealing you will pay before your crimes you traitor." Naruto said darkly before dropping into his fighting stance. "Just try it demon!" shouted Mizuki, readying another demon wind shuriken. Naruto just gave Mizuki a vicious smirk before replying. "You asked for it." Then he took off at full speed towards Mizuki. Said man stopped dead on his track in shock. " What incredible speed." He and Iruka thought simultaneously. Naruto had quickly closed the gap between him and Mizuki and started closing his chakra points before he stopped his onslaught. Mizuki was in pain and he knew he wasn't going to escape. "Damn… you…" he said weakly, taking deep breaths. Naruto lowered to a different stance with a smirk. Both chūnin eyes widen in shock again. "He knows that technique, too?" they thought.
"Gentle Fist Art: Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms." Naruto stated before he started his new onslaught, closing more of Mizuki's chakra points, well his main chakra points. Mizuki screamed in pain and fell face first to the ground. Naruto walked forward and grabbed the scroll of sealing but saw a glimpse of a useful jutsu. Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu. "Are you alright Iruka?" Naruto asked his old teacher. Said teacher winced in pain before he replied. "Yeah I'm fine Naruto. Let's not worry about me alright? We have to take the scroll back to the Hokage you know that right?" he asked Naruto. Said teen just nodded before heading back to the village with Iruka, who was carrying the traitor over his shoulders, in toll.
-Back in the at the clearing-
"He is already strong at such young age." Stated a cloaked figure, another cloaked person chuckled before replying. "I can't wait to fight him." The first figure said nothing but looked up and a pair of sharigan glowed.
-With Naruto-
Naruto stopped dead in his track. Iruka stopped, confused written all over his face, looked back to his student to see him tensed up. "This chakra…" He thought looking back to where he and Iruka came from. "I know it was his chakra, isn't that right? Weasel…" Naruto thought sadly before turning around and started walking towards the village.
-Next Morning-
Naruto woke early before the sun rose and started doing his morning routine, after he finished getting dress and looked at the time. "Barely thirty minutes had passed." He said quietly to himself before heading towards where he and Hinata used to play before the academy started and took a sit beside the pond and watched the sun rise. He wasn't the only one that woke up early, Hinata also woke up and had seen that Naruto had woke up so she put on a night robe over her night gowns and went outside to where he was sitting down. "Hello Hinata-chan." He greeted softly without looking back. Hinata let out a small squeak because she thought Naruto hadn't notice her. "How did you notice me, Naru-kun?" she asked. He turned back to look over his shoulder and replied. "I'm a sensor ninja, I hadn't notice until later yesterday though so I'm new to this." He smiled at her before turning back around, Hinata walked up next to him before sitting down and also watching the sun rising . After a few minutes Hinata spoke up. "You know we still need to go to the Academy for team placements, right?" Naruto nodded before he got up and offered a hand to Hinata, to which she gladly took. "Yeah I know. I don't think we will be placed on the same team, though. So don't be shy around your new teammates, okay." He teased, Hinata blushed before she pouted. "You're mean Naru-kun." She whined. Naruto chuckled at her antics before walking back inside with Hinata following behind.
Naruto and Hinata started walking towards the Academy together, maybe for the final time together. One their way over there they've meet up with Kiba and Akamaru his ninja dog, well puppy for now.
"Kiba-san." Naruto greeted, said boy turned around and was surprised on who yelled out his name to find out it was Naruto. "Hello Kiba-kun." Hinata greeted quietly. "Hey Naruto, Hinata-chan!" greeted Kiba loudly. Naruto's eyes twitched dangerously, thankfully for Kiba, Hinata saved him. "Kiba-kun not so loud, please. Naruto-kun isn't feeling well." Hinata lied, Naruto sent her a thankful look to which she smiled. "Sorry about that." he scratched the back of his head sheepishly with an apologetic smile. Naruto just nodded and started walking again. Kiba looked at Hinata before shrugging and also started walking with Hinata following.
When they arrived Naruto went to sit at the usual seat. Hinata watched him go before turning to Kiba waving a small goodbye before she walked over to sit beside Naruto. A few minutes later Iruka came in and saw that every student was talking besides Naruto, Hinata, Sasuke and Shino. His eyes twitched dangerously before he shouted. "SHUT UP EVERYONE AND LISTEN UP." Everyone stayed silent and Iruka smiled in approval before giving his little speech. "Congratulations to each and every one of you for passing the exams, from here on out the road of a ninja will get harder, I'm all proud of all of you." He finished with a smile. All the students beamed at his praise. "Fools…" Said a quiet voice. Everyone turned to see who spoke and was surprised to see who spoke that. Iruka said nothing but stayed silent. Sakura spoke up. "What do you mean Naruto-kun?" Naruto looked at everyone before he answered her question. "Have you ever felt unbearable pain? Had any of you felt the loss of someone precious to you? No you haven't. The only one that felt that pain is only a few of you. You people who came from a civilian family know nothing. Don't act this is fun and games because it will only get worse." He finished darkly. Everyone beside Iruka and the clan heirs knows what he was talking about. Everyone else was stunned. Iruka coughed into his hands to get everyone attentions. "Alright everyone… time to see who one team is." He named everyone that was going to be in teams from one to six. "Team 7 will be Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno..." Iruka was interrupted by the said girl yelling out "Ha, Take that Ino-pig! True Love conquers all!" she pumps her fist into the air while Iruka, Naruto, Hinata and Sasuke sweat dropped.
Iruka coughed to get everyone attention again. "Well aright, now that Sakura is done with her little display. I will continue with the team placement." He said, Sakura blushed in embarrassment before sitting back down. "And the final member of team 7 is Naruto Hyūga." Everyone stayed silent before the silence was interrupted with a groan, everyone turned around to see Naruto banging his head against the table. Everyone sweat dropped at the display. "Moving on, Team 8 will be Hinata Hyūga, Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Aburame. Team 9 is still in circulation so well going ahead with team 10 which consist of Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara and Chōji Akimichi." He finished naming the teams and started walking towards the door and opened them. "Oh! Before I forget, after your lunch break you need to be back here and wait for your sensei to pick you up.
Every team besides team seven walked outside to acquaintance themselves before they could be as a team. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura stay inside after their break from lunch, since the others had been picked up by their sensei they were the only one in the room since Iruka had left a while ago. After what felt like hours someone with silver gravity defying hair, poked their head inside, analyzing the genin with a lazy look in his eyes. "My first impression is… I hate you." The genin of team seven sweat dropped at his antics. "Meet me on the roof of the Academy in five minutes." With that he puffed away. Sakura nervously looked between both her teammate and "love". Both Naruto and Sasuke had a look of indifference before they got up and started walking out the room. Sakura sighed before she also got up. Once the whole team arrived their sensei clapped his hands before speaking up. "Alright my cute little genins." The said genins glared at him, which he ignored. "Let's introduce ourselves." He said with an eye smile. Sakura spoke up and asked her question. "How do we do that sensei?" she asked curiously.
"Well…" he put his hand on his chin in a thoughtful manner. "Tell me your names, likes, dislikes and dream for the future." He explained.
"Why don't you go first sensei." said Naruto. Said sensei rubbed his chin in thought. "Hmm… Well my name is Kakashi Hatake, my likes and dislikes… I can't say. As for the future… that doesn't concern you." He said with an eye smile. The genin sweat dropped and had the same thought running through their mind. "All he really told us was his name." Kakashi then pointed to Sakura. "Okay, it's your turn pinky." Sakura glared at Kakashi before she huffed. "Well my name is Sakura Haruno, my likes are… (She glanced to Sasuke's direction and a tinge of rosie pink across her cheeks and looked back, while the others sweat dropped.) reading, I guess. My dislikes are perverts, Ino-pig and my dreams… well I have to rethink that." She finished, Kakashi nod. "She not much of a fan girl, but it's still there." He thought before turning towards Sasuke's direction and said. "You're up, broody." Sasuke scowled before grunting. "My name is… Sasuke Uchiha. I don't like many things and I hate a lot of things. My dream, no ambition is restore my clan and kill a certain someone…" he said the last part darkly. The silence was tense for everyone. "So he's an avenger. Itachi what have you've done to your beloved little brother?" Naruto thought while looking at Sasuke, Sakura was unnerved with the proclamation from Sasuke. "Well… Last but not least, the only Hyūga in the group." Said Kakashi, turning his attention to the Fourth's legacy. Naruto nodded. "My name is Naruto Hyūga; my likes are Hinata-chan, reading on chakra manipulation, learning new things. My dislikes are arrogant people, perverts, people who tend to judge before knowing them. My dream is to one day gain the respect of everyone in the village as one of the strongest ninja of the elemental nation and maybe one day have a family." He finished his introductions. Kakashi eye smiled. "Right, well sorry to break it to you but you aren't genins yet." It was silent for A few moments before Sakura shouted. "WHAT!"
Sasuke and Naruto were both were shock also. Naruto asked the question that bugs the team. "What do you mean sensei?" asked Naruto. Kakashi chuckled before answering. "Well if I told you guys, you might flip." Naruto's eyebrow twitched with a tick mark. "Stop beating around the bush and tell us." He said through gritted teeth. Kakashi chuckled sheepishly. "There's another test that you have to pass. More like survival test." Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura's eyes widen in shock, Naruto regained his composure before he started chuckling before laughing. Sasuke and Sakura were confused and slightly unnerved, Kakashi was also confused but curious too. "Wow, Kakashi Hatake…" he says through laughs before he calmed down. "That was the mostly hilarious thing you said. I know this little test is about teamwork, so you can leave me out of this. I can't work with this team. Think about it, you have an avenger and his fan girl, meaning Sasuke would rather work alone than with us and Sakura would follow his every move." He explained. Sasuke said nothing while Sakura was saddened about what Naruto said about her. "Is it really true?" she thought sadly to herself.
"Sasuke would never change since he has his goal to kill his brother. Sakura… I don't know for sure, but if she changes her ways she could be a formable medic ninja, maybe as good as Lady Tsunade because of her perfect chakra control." He continued his explanation. Sakura stared at Naruto in shock. "Do you really think that?" she asked with strong emotions, Naruto looked to her direction and nodded. Tears started gathering in the corner of her eyes as she hugged him. "Thank you… Naruto…" she said happily. Naruto was shocked when Sakura hugged him before he regained his composure and a small smile graced his face. "You're welcome… Sakura… chan." He said, returning the hug.
Kakashi looked on with a smile, even though it's hidden behind his face mask. "Well Naruto, you should probably give this team a chance before you move." He said. Said teen looked at him and nodded while separating from Sakura. Kakashi clapped his hands together. "Right, the test will be tomorrow, so meet me at training ground seven at five o'clock." he stood up and was about to teleport away before looked back towards team seven. "Before I forget, don't eat breakfast, you'll just throw up." And with that that he teleported away.
Sasuke stood up and walked away without saying a word to Sakura or Naruto. Said teens looked at each both they stood up. "Well… I'll see you later… Naruto-kun." Said Sakura. Naruto nodded and replied. "Yea, I will see you tomorrow." before they walked their separate ways. This was the start of a friendship that might last a while.
So what do you guys think? I might have Naruto stay in Team seven since I have no idea to who will be his sensei or his teammates. Well review people.
