Chapter 2 trouble in Central
Jake, Bart and Barry were at S.T.A.R. Labs in their Impulse, Kid Flash and Flash suits talking to Caitlin and Cisco. "So what's the crime?"said Impulse "Captain Cold's robbing the Central City national bank"said Cisco "ok then, Caitlin you found anything on uh..."said Impulse "no nothing yet sorry"said Caitlin "it's fine"said Impulse slightly annoyed "we going or what"said Kid Flash "yeah yeah let's go"said Impulse as he ran off followed by Flash and Kid Flash.
Impulse, Kid Flash and Flash were at the bank "let's do this"said Kid Flash as he ran in "Kid wait we need a plan"said Flash but Kid didn't hear "well he hasn't changed since he became Kid Flash much has he"said Impulse "nope"said Flash as Impulse ran in followed by Flash, Impulse punched Captain Cold's face "Kid grab the cold gun!"yelled Impulse "on it"said Kid Flash as he grabbed the cold gun and locked it in the evidence locker at the CCPD station and came back "ok now what"said Kid Flash "don't know"said Flash "I know"said Impulse as he ran to the other end of the bank and jumped off the wall at super speed and punched Captain Cold's face knocking him out "I think he's knocked out cold"said Impulse, as he started laughing at his pun, Flash and Kid just looked at him like 'no, just no' "uhhh back to the station?"said Impulse "yeah"said Kid Flash as the three of them dropped Captain Cold and their suits at S.T.A.R. Labs and ran back to Barry's lab.
Barry, Bart and Jake were at Barry's csi lab "what was that thing Caitlin couldn't find anything on?"asked Bart "nothing"said Jake "come on!"said Bart "nothing"said Jake "come on! I'm your cousin! I gave you my suit, I was the one who told Barry and Iris what happened and gave them the idea for you to come live with us AND I've been your best friend since we were 12"said Bart "fine, come to the back"said Jake as they went to the back of the lab where Barry couldn't hear them "I've been researching my parents deaths, trying to find out what happened"said Jake "and this was a secret because?"said Bart "because if Barry found out then he'd shut it down"said Jake "why would he do that"said Bart "because he spent like 15 years researching his mother's death and he lost a lot of friends and family because of it and if he found out I was researching my parents deaths he would shut it down as he doesn't want me to go through all the things he went through, that's why it's a secret now will you not tell anyone?"said Jake "dude as your cousin I swear I will not tell anyone about it"said Bart "thanks man"said Jake "no problem"said Bart "now let's see about that homicide"said Jake, as soon as he finished talking Barry walked round the corner surprising them "what's going on back here"said Barry "nothing"said Bart "uh huh well in case you forgot we have a case to solve"said Barry "well then let's go figure out what happened"said Jake as they walked to the main area of the precinct "one sec guys I gotta go get something"said Jake as he went to find something leaving Bart and Barry by themselves "so what were you two talking about?"asked Barry "nothing"said Bart "you swore secrecy didn't you"said Barry "yeah"said Bart "well at least your dad raised you to be trustworthy, eventually"said Barry saying that last word quietly "I heard that"said Bart "oh look Jake's back"said Barry changing the subject "hey guys"said Jake holding his skateboard "where was that"said Bart "oh Captain Singh was holding onto it for me"said Jake "and yet when I ask him for a raise he ignores me"said Barry "hahahahahahahaha!"laughed Bart "Bart shut it"said Barry as Bart stopped laughing "let's just go"said Jake as they walked outside and Jake got on his skateboard and went to the crime scene "why does he use his skateboard instead of running sometimes?"said Barry "I think he just likes using it sometimes instead of running"said Bart "ok then"said Barry as he ran to the crime scene followed by Bart.
Jake, Bart and Barry were at the crime scene which was a warehouse, there was a chalk outline of where the body was and a lot of stuff was wrecked "ok what have we got"said Jake as he looked around and saw something on the floor a few feet away from where the victims left hand was before the body was taken away, Jake crouched down and looked at it "whoa"said Jake "what"said Bart "this is a drug"said Jake "nice Jake"said Barry "thanks uncle Barry"said Jake "hey guys I found something"said Bart "what"said Barry as he and Jake ran over to Bart "it's a gun"said Bart "nice one man"said Jake "thanks"said Bart as Captain Singh walked over to them "anything?"said Singh "we think it was a drug dealing gone wrong"said Barry "good work you three, take the rest of the day off"said Singh "cool thanks captain"said Jake as he grabbed his skateboard, got on it, grabbed a notepad, wrote down everything they found at the scene, dropped the pad on the floor in front of Captain Singh and skateboarded out of the warehouse and headed home "a teenager who is highly smart but could still be considered cool and skateboards, Jake sure is one of a kind"said Captain Singh "yep"said Barry "I'm gonna go home see ya!"said Bart as he ran out of the warehouse and round a corner at normal speed then as soon as he turned a corner he ran home at super speed "I'm gonna go too"said Barry as he ran off at normal speed, turned a corner, and ran to the house at super speed.
Hey guys thanks for reading this chapter and just to clear up some things Jake's mom was Lois Lane but in this she's Barry's sister and she was there when Barry's mom was killed but she thought her dad did it while Barry didn't and Connor Kent aka Superboy doesn't exist and Kara doesn't as well and other than that the Allen and Kent Family trees are the same and yeah next chapter'll be up soon and my other story The Simpson Boys:beginnings is on hold for a while but next chapter of that'll be up soon hopefully and yeah until next time see ya!
