Sakura walked next to Hinata, Naruto, and Shikamaru behind them while Asuma was ahead of them, they were all on a mission to Suna to help Gaara with a drought problem.

Hinata turned to Sakura with a smile, "Ne Saku, it's been awhile since we've seen Gaara-kun, hasn't it?"

Sakura smiled back and scratched her head, her long pink hair swaying with her walk, "Yeah! It'll be nice to-" Sakura's eyes widened, as did mine. There were ten powerful chakra signatures that suddenly appeared around them, "Hinata. You feel it too?" Sakura's voice was a hushed whisper, as to not alert the others.

Hinata nodded, Asuma glanced at them and nodded, him being one of the few Jounin to know about their secret, "Shit. We're surrounded." By now, they'd all stopped walking, all on guard.

"Are you sure it's the girls?! Jashin-sama wouldn't want them as a sacrifice!"

"Silence, Hidan." The ten ninja emerged, adorning Akatsuki cloaks.

Asuma stuck his hands in his pockets, holding his blades tightly, "Wow, the entire Akatsuki. I would assume that you're here for Naruto, but your friend over there was talking about Hinata and Sakura."

The man at the front of the group, a redhaired male with piercings all over his face, said, "But of course, we would need everyone to greet our new members."

Asuma had a relaxed stance, but his dark eyes were steely as he raised a brow, "New members?"

Pein smirked, "Of course, the Red Moon team."

Naruto, who was seemingly forgotten, finally spoke up, pointing an accusing finger at Pein, "What?! You mean the Red Moon team is real?!" Ah the Red Moon team, its the name Hinata and Sakura got when they killed over a hundred sound nin in only thirty minutes, painting the moon red.

The silver-haired male now identified as Hidan snorted with an eye roll, "They're apart of your own fucking village and you don't even fucking know who they are?! What a bunch of idiots!"

Pein narrowed his eyes, glaring at Hidan slightly, "Quiet Hidan. And I suppose that's my bad... You must know them as the Rabbit and the Cat."

Naruto fell over dramatically, "Whaaaat?! You're telling me The Cat and Rabbit and the Red Moon team are the same people?!"

The blonde Jinchurikki was ignored at Itachi took a step forward, bringing attention to himself, "Hinata, Sakura, if you don't want your comrades to get hurt, I suggest you come with us."

Asuma grit his teeth, grinding the cigarette. Naruto, who has just stood back up, fell over once more, "What?! Sakura and Hinata are too weak to be the Rabbit and Cat!"

He was once again ignored as Hinata made eye contact with Sakura and nodded, the latter returned the gesture and they both stepped in front of the group, their arms outstretched in a protective manner. Sakura smirked, "Ill be honest, I never expected to meet all of the Akatsuki at once." Hinata narrowed her eyes, analyzing the situation.

Pein raised a brow and shrugged lightly, "Well, as you can see, we all wanted to meet the legends who each took down fifty sound nin in under 30 minutes."

Hinata laughed dryly, "Heh, you guys sure impress easily."

Itachi spoke up once more, his eyes boring into the two, "We assure you, that's not where our knowledge ends."

The two girls' eyes narrowed as a swirling void appeared next to Pein and a man in a swirled mask hopped out of it, "Tobi has another way we can convince them to join, Pein-sama!" Hinata watched him with hard eyes, So that's how they got so close without alerting our senses...

Pein nodded and the void appeared once more, coming out of 'Tobi's' eye, this time two people fell out, the older one had blind slicked back hair, while the other had short brown hair with a strand falling down her face.

The two kunoichis' eyes widened to their fullest extent, 'Hanabi!' 'Kaa-chan!'

Straining her ears Hinata heard her sister whisper, "Hinata-oneechan, what's... what's going on?" While Sakura's mother remained quiet, Hinata's anger spiked again.

Pein switched his grip so that his hand was painfully grasping the back of Hanabi's neck as her body hung lifelessly below her. He moved her so that her ear was by his mouth as he taunted, "I'll tell you what's going on. Your Onee-chan and her friend have been lying to you. They was never actually weak, it was just a ruse to protect their identity."

Hanabi scrunched her face in confusion, "Th-that's not true" she said weakly. "I studied their chakra with my own Byakugan. It was the size of a normal Chuunin..."

Pein tightened his hold, "That's what makes this so impressive - to be able to deceive the Byakugan." He now spoke to Hinata and Sakura who was begrudgingly watching the conversation with a stoic mask, "Why don't you release your chakra so you can prove my words true."

Sakura's mother, Mebuki, finally spoke out, "Sakura, dear, don't listen to them! I'll be fine!"

Pein sneered and switched tactics, metal rods appeared in both of his hands before he stuck them into both females. Hanabi and Mebuki shrieked before passing out as the rod liquified inside of them, Pein blinked at the two before turning back to Sakura and Hinata, "Now I'll say it once more, release your chakra."

Anger overcoming them, both released the genjutsu over their chakra, their enormous reserves finally let free,

Sakura glared at Pein, looking at her mother with sad eyes before she looked back at him, "Give us them first, then we'll go."

Pein nodded and Tobi picked up Hanabi and handed her unconscious body to Shikamaru and Itachi handed Mebuki to Asuma, "Now then, let's go to the base."

Hinata and Sakura followed, ignoring Naruto's shouts.

-Line Break-

"Here are your cloaks, rings, and hats. You are to wear your cloaks and rings at all times, but the hats are optional for mission use." Pein gazed at both stoic kunoichi with a burning gaze, "You will partner up together, but will sometimes be partnered up with others of the organization, depending on what the mission is. If there are no questions, you're dismissed."

Sakura and Hinata disappeared in a flash and reappeared outside Pein's office door, neither of them speaking. They walked side by side to their room and closed the door, Sakura placed a strong genjutsu barrier around the room and sighed, "Well shit... How in the hell are we supposed to be Akatsuki members?"

Hinata flopped in her small bad and shrugged, "I... Have no freaking idea, Saku, but for now, we need to gather intel and send it to Konoha somehow."

Sakura nodded and ran her fingers through her long hair, "Agreed, as long as we're here we should still protect the leaf... But how can we relay the messages?"

Hinata put her arm over her eyes and thought, she bit her lip before an imaginary lightbulb appeared over her, "Jiraiya-sensei! He should be traveling still! So all we need to do is find him and give him the messages!"

Sakura nodded with a grin, "Hell yeah! Now all we need to do is gain their trust."

Hinata nodded and sat up, "But for now, let's get some rest."

Sakura nodded her head before yawning and falling into her own bed, "Night, Hina..."

Hinata rolled under her covers and switched the lamp off, "Night, Saku..."

A/N: Helloooooo~ how are you all? I'm excited, this is my first Sakura and Hinata x Akatsuki fanfic.

I was thinking ItaSaku and PeinHina or SasoHina... what do you guys think???
