Chapter Eleven

Inuyash grunted as he blocked the force of the attack sent of him. The attack was nothing more the the jumping attack of a dark furred canine, who had decided to jump at him from the front. He brought up his sword to blow the blow, the power of her jump and weight sent him sliding back a few inches, before he swung his sword shaking her off, as she jumped back and landed smoothly a few feet behind him.

"finally!" He voice rang out from the form of the canine. "You are learning quick." She huffed as if out of breath before beginning a slow walking circle around him. "But.. You must learn more!" She growled, launching at him from behind him. Inuyasha turn in time to nearly dodger the attack, as she fly by him. He swung his sword at her then, as she ducked out of the way, before rounding and jumping at him again, landing on his shoulder, she pushed him back, causing him to stumble. "Never assume that your enemy will take it easy on you." She commented as she landed in front of him again, sitting back to stare at him.

"I know this already!" He yelled out in frustration, as she swung his sword at her once more. This time gathering the energy around the sword, in the arch of the swing, the energy gathered and formed a terrible wind that shot out towards her. Jumping to the side, she ran out of the way, but just barely. "I did beat you before. I will defeat you again." He growled as he jumped at her, as she jumped to the side, and jumped onto his back, as he stumbled forward with the extra weight, caught his balance and shook her off. "Aye, you did, but not while I was stuff in this form." She called out to him from behind, sitting on the ground once more. "I think, that shall be enough for today." She turned to walk away, just as Inuyasha growled, and after sheathing his sword, he jumped for her, talking her to the ground and to the side. From there they went on with hand and fist, and teeth fight. Inuyasha trying to get a few good scratches in on her, while she tried to wiggle free and attempt to bite his arms.

Though she was able to wiggle free at the last moment, he got a few good hits on her side and scratches into her face. When he thought she was done, she jumped, pinning him back and bite into his arm, earning him a loud growl of shocked pain. She jumped off just as he was about to punch her in the side again. "Learn your place!" He yelled out.

"Learn yours!" She snapped back. "That last fight I let you win! I could take you down with ease, but we need you alive for this new foe we are to fight. The one you lost to, and you are training for!" She growled out, a sudden wind seemed to gather in the area, a soft breeze that blew her fur in all way, the few specks of silver that tinted her fur, begun to glow, her eyes started to brighten as well. "Now cal you butt down, pup, and take a rest!" She warned and Inuyasha narrowed his eyes at her, crossing his arms, he turned and walked off.

Taking a deep breath, the canine calmed her self, the wind and the glowing with that slow breath. Before she moved to follow after him. For a while they walked along in silence, the day waning above them, going from light to dark, rather quickly in the thick forest.

"how.." inuyasha begun. "how is your leg." he stated calmly, as he walked, continuing to look on forward. She eyed him a moment, glancing up at the half-demon, before looking forward once more.

"Same s yesterday. A lot better since that jewel shard had entered me." She stated as she walked.

"Still hurting?" he continued on, as if this was just a normal conversation, as if the training and fight before never happened.

"A little. The training helps, but doesn't at the same time." She explained as she scanned the darkening area around them. "We should find a spot to camp for the night." She suggested, as the wind begun to pick up slowly around them, the smell of rain carried on it. "it's gonna rain shortly." She stated aloud as if to her self.

"Already could tell." inuyasha huffed as he turned and she followed. It did not take them long to find a large hillside, where a small lean too seemed to be made, though it was covered in holes, and surely leak water. Inuyasha went about, quickly covering it with twigs and leaves, while she gathered sticks to make a small fire underneath it.

After a few minutes it begun to drizzle, then after a few more minutes, it down poured. Causing the two dog like demons to sit close to their small fire, and hide from the damp and rain. "I'll take first watch." Inuyasha said, his gaze locked out onto the dark forest. Taking that his sign of saying for her to get rest, the canine moved to lay down, her head laying on her crossed paws, as she stared at the fire, letting sleep come to her.

Before sleep consumed her, she was filled with the events that had happened the past few days. Almost close to a week ago she was still trapped and badly beaten up in some kind of weird dungeon, where she had also ran across Inuyasha, Kagome and Shippo, who all happened to be caught as well. Where she had a moment with Inuyasha that had made them less enemies, and on more friendly terms, if only if it was strictly survival only.

After that night, when she fell asleep. She woke to find her self in a strange field, a battle already happening. Some how the demon that had captured her and the others had presented him self. As well as Sesshomaru, a person she never thought who would be captured so easily, though he seemed completely out of it. His eyes where glazed over and red and full of rage. He seemed to want to kill her, not that she blamed him, but there was something forced in all of it. As if he was being controlled. He smelt strange and acted stranger, as his moves where not as graceful and stiff, that he only used his sword and did not call upon the poison that he held in his body, which could have done more damage in a close fight.

As well as he being injured, she noted that the fighting was to easy, that he was to easy to read, to read his moves and block each attack, or strike open spots. The same thing was with Inuyasha, who had seemed to move the same, though she took him out early, jumping onto his body and crashing hi head first in a wall, he was out, and when he came to. Completely normal.

So with his help towards the end, they where able to land attacks on Sesshomaru and knock him back, but the demon that captured them, also took that moment to attack, as he attacked Kagome, and caused a weird jewel to fall from her side. The canine knew right away, what Jewel it was, and was quiet surprised that it was located in Kagome's side.

Trying to help Shippo get away from the evil demon, she had failed, only to be hurt and struck out cold, to not know what happened after that. That only during her time of blackness, where she saw nothing, heard nothing, dreamnt nothing, she felt this odd power build inside of her, and when something struck at her side, it glowed and begun a quick heal of her body. When she was able to wake and move about, she noticed things where a lot different, and she had been out for far to long.

Everyone was gone, the sun was gone, and night had fallen, the wall was gone, no sign of Kagome or Shippo, Sesshomaru or even Inuyasha. At first anyway. She still felt weak and could hardly stand on all four paws, as she stumbled over every rock and kept loosing her balance. She had only made it a couple of feet before she fell over, to tired and weak to move on. When she was met with a pair of familiar red pants, and an annoyed half-demon. After quiet a while of talking, he had picked her up and helped to a move covered area, and a safe area, where she rested for two full days with out waking. The third and fourth day she spent getting energy and building up strength. The last few days they had been practicing sparring and getting to know each other. The canine had learned a lot about Inuyasha, and he her, well as much as she knew about her self anyway. he understood her more then, about how she always seemed to know what his sister or his lost love would think of him and all of that junk.

Half way into her sleep, she heard a named called out beside her. "Yuliana." Inuyasha nearly whispered, she opened one eye to look at him. "Hmm.." She asked on a yawn. inuyasha paused, many looks passing about his head before he shook his head. "Never mind. Rest." He stated before getting up. "I'm going to take a walk." He stated, the canine yawned and closed her eyes. She knew was gone with the ruffle of his fabric met with that of the sound of the rain. 'Something must be on his mind.' She thought idly, drifting off into slumber. 'At least he is calling me by my name now' Was her last thought before she was lost to the world of slumber

AN: Quickly did a chapter of Inuyasha and Yuliana, to show that they are up and about as well. Soon all the groups will be back together, or something like that.
