DragonXDelinquent: Dragonic Overlord? Sounds cool but I don't think Vince would like the title very much. That's a unique way of thinking about it, clothing wise I'm pretty sure Vince wouldn't wear it. Yes, there will be consequences for Vince doing something like that.
revan193: Well, it won't be as dark as last time.
Ryuuto Tiamat Raizel: Sure. At the moment I don't have any plans to add an OC to Vince's harem as of now. Devil trigger may be making an appearance soon not sure about an Angel trigger yet. Yes I'm back to full health and as for the weapons I'm still thinking about it, but I do have my eye on a weapon for Rena to use from Elsword.
ZeroSaga: Well, it's more like he just wants to get it over with and move on.
Sano: Really? That's a unique suggestion.

Ran: That sounds more like a fight ready to happen but to be honest it does sound unique.
Cobalt Striker Gundam: Not necessarily. Vince will fight his dad later on, as of right now he has other things to take care of but yeah, he's really ticked off at him.
Durandel: Glad to see you do and that's a surprising choice.
Cani: Maybe when he sees her, he'll probably make a comment about it. Well, I think Jeanne is going to have a very unique interaction with Vince.
GeassDragon: Vince doesn't have any romantic feelings for Rias as of right now. He sees her as a friend from school.
The Storm Master 567: True. Though after seeing the other nobles like Riser, Vince thinks Rias is more tolerable in comparison. There's also the factor that Vince's mother is friends with Rias' mother as well.
Guest: Sure thing.
Zero Kazama: No problem. I wouldn't go so far to say about Rias being his future wife. There will be an eventual confrontation with his father but if Vince fought him it wouldn't really be a fair fight.
Enjirio99: It used to be a cellphone but a day before the treaty it was turned into a bracelet so Vince can have easier access to use it.
That's it for the reviews, I gotta say I did not expect for Seekvaira Agares to be mentioned a few times. To be honest, I think they'll most likely fight each other but that's just me.

A tense and awkward atmosphere enveloped the room. Vince's friends continued to look at him while he ignored them. Vince looked out the window, his eyes glanced towards the corpses of the magicians and he clenched his fist in frustration. Micheal then cleared his throat, trying to break up the atmosphere. "Azazel, just how far did you research Sacred Gears?"
Azazel smiled fearlessly, trying to lighten up the mood. "It's fine, isn't it? God, the one who made the Sacred Gears, isn't here, right? Isn't it better if there's someone who can explain about Sacred Gears at least a little? I heard there are all kinds of things that even you don't know, right?"
"I think the problem is that you're the one who's researching it..." Micheal replied sighing.
Rias then received a formula from her forehead by Grayfia who spoke up. "Ojou-sama, please wait a little while."
"Please hurry, Grayfia." Rias said urgently.
Vince noticed Azazel and Vali discussing a topic seriously. He frowned and placed a hand to his ear and closed his eyes. (Focus... Good, I can hear them now. Increasing my hearing with lightning really comes in handy.)
"Vali."
"What is it, Azazel?"
"You go catch the enemy's attention outside. If the Hakuryuukou comes out at the front, it'll disrupt their strategy a little. Also, something may move." Azazel stated.
"So that person will also become aware of me being here?" Vali asked raising an eyebrow.
"If you do that, they won't expect for the Sekiryuutei to transfer over to the center using "Castling". It'll also have the effect of attracting their attention a little." He explained to him.
"Wouldn't it be faster to blow away all the terrorists in the old school building and the half-vampire who has become a problem?" Vali asked sighing slightly.
"Quit that, at a time where we've united in peace. In the worst case scenario, we'll do that, but if we can save a member of the Maou's family, saving him will be of benefit for us in the future." Azazel suggested, frowning a little.
"Understood."
Vali nodded and let out a breath. "-Balance Break."
"Vanishing Dragon Balance Breaker!"
After the voice sounded off, a snow-white aura covered Vali's body. When the light stopped, his body was wrapped in a whole-body armor that emitted a white radiance.
Vince glanced towards Vali's direction and raised an eyebrow. (Huh... so that's his Balance Breaker.)
After glancing at Issei and surprisingly Vince, Vali rushed out into the sky due to the windows already being broken. Just then, a magic circle appeared as another wave of magicians came out.
Not a moment later a shockwave was created outside. Issei and Vince looked out to see a group of magicians trampled down by Vali.
He plunged into the enemy group while drawing a path of light in the night sky. Vince snorted and looked at the old school building. (I guess being a dragon emperor means you have to be dramatic.)
Vali danced in the air, easily evading the concentrated bullets that the magicians fired, and the large mass of surge bullets hit the school grounds.
Vince yawned loudly, looking bored from watching Vali and turned towards the other leaders.
"Azazel, continuing the talk from before." Sirzechs questioned with a doubtful look.
"Yeah, what about it?" He asked looking at him.
"What are you trying to do by collecting Sacred Gears? You've been collecting "Longinus" owners too, right? Do you intend to kill God even though God no longer exists?"
Azazel shook his head in response to the question. "It's to prepare."
"Prepare? That's some uneasiness-inciting talk, even though you reject war." Micheal said sounding amazed.
"I said so, right? I won't go to war against you people. I also won't make war here. -However, means of self-defence are necessary. Rather, should I say we're not just preparing for an attack from you?" Azazel informed, his expression turning serious.
"Then?"
"-The "Khaos Brigade"."
Issei furrowed his eyebrows. "...Khaos, Brigade?"
A cold chill ran down Vince's spine. He turned to Azazel with his eyes narrowing. "Did you say the Khaos Brigade?"
Azazel noticed the change in Vince's expression and looked at him with a slightly surprised expression. "I take it you've met them before?"
"You can say that. I don't exactly have a high opinion of them at the moment." He answered his eyes narrowing.
"Where did you meet them?" Azazel asked raising an eyebrow.
"I met them in Kyoto." Vince noticed the other waiting for him to continue and he rolled his eyes. "What? I'm not going to say anything else about it."
Micheal sighed at Vince's obvious distrust and turned to Azazel. "What is their goal, Azazel?"
"I only confirmed the organization's name and background recently, but my Vice Governor Shemhaza has also had his eye on this suspiciously acting group from before that. It's said that they're gathering dangerous members from all three big powers. Some Sacred Gear-possessing humans who have attained Balance Breaker also seem to be included. I've also confirmed a number of "Longinus" possessors among them." Azazel explained with a sigh.
"Their goal is?"
Vince's eyes narrowed dangerously and Azazel continued. "Destruction and mayhem. It's that simple, you know? They don't like this world's peace. They're terrorists. Moreover they're ill-natured to the extreme."
"The organization's leader is the powerful fiendish dragon besides the "Welsh Dragon" and "Vanishing Dragon"."
Everyone with the exception of Issei, Kasumi, Akari and Vince became speechless from Azazel's confession.
"...I see, so that person has moved. The "Uroboros Dragon" Ophis. The dragon feared by God... The one who kept reigning over with the position of the strongest since the world began." Sirzechs said grimly.
"...So, that's it?" Vince asked, snapping the gloomy atmosphere in the room. "All of you are worried when about a potential god slaying lizard that hasn't even showed up yet? That can wait 'till later, we still have problem to deal with right now and we're running out of time."
Everyone turned to Vince, completely surprised at his calm demanour. Shura laughed loudly and grinned. "The kid's right. We still have a problem to take care of now, Ophis can wait 'till later."
A magic circle suddenly emerged from the floor of the meeting room as a voice spoke from it. "Yes, you have more immediate problems at the moment..."
Sirzechs immediately recognized the voice and clicked his tongue. "I see. So you've come! The mastermind this time..."
"Wow, not even a minute after hearing her voice and I already think she's a bitch." Vince remarked crudely.
Serafall placed a hand to her mouth and held back giggling while Azazel laughed loudly.
The magic circle glowed violently and the voice spoke from it, in a angry tone. "You insolent brat! I will destroy you for that, remark!" Katerea shouted angrily.
Vince however waved off the threat. "You know, this further proving my opinion of you being a bitch."
Multiple sharp water needles flew out of Vince's palm and destroyed the magic circle. "Now that, that's taken care off, let's get to work."
The others nodded in response as Sirzechs urgently turned to Grayfia. "Grayfia, transfer Rias and Issei-kun quickly!"
"Yes!"
Grayfia urged Issei and Rias to go to a corner of the meeting room, and a small magic circle was created on the floor. "Ojou-sama, I wish you the fortunes of battle."
"W-Wait, Grayfia!? Onii-sama!" Rias shouted.
"Grayfia, can you wait for a moment?" Vince asked turning to Grayfia.
Grayfia turned towards Sirzechs who nodded and she nodded as well. "Very well, Vince-sama."
"...Stop calling me that." Vince sighed from the honorific, and turned to Rias. "Calm down Rias. The main point is to give Gasper the bracelet and save him from the magicians that are keeping him captive. Proceed accordingly and don't take any chances, got it? We can take care of ourselves."
Rias took a deep breath and nodded, regaining her composure. "You're right, thank you Vince."
He then turned towards Issei. "Good luck, Issei. I know you'll help Rias get the job done."
Issei grinned and gave Vince a thumbs up. "Thanks Vince, we'll definitely save Gasper!"
Just then both Rias and Issei were enveloped in a light and disappeared in the transfer magic circle.
"You did a good job of cheering them up Vince." Gabriel said smiling.
"Don't get used to it Gabriel." Vince leaned against the wall and closed his eyes, unaware of the small pout on her face.
Sirzechs lightly chuckled at the interaction for a moment before his expression turned serious.

Upon noticing another magic circle appear in the room, Azazel laughed and Sirzechs made a sour expression. "The magic circle of Leviathan."
Kiba looked surprised while Vince raised an eyebrow. "Leviathan...?"
"It's something seen in the books of the Vatican. That's the magic circle of the original Maou Leviathan." Azazel explained.
A single woman appeared from the magic circle. She was wearing a dress that was extremely low-cut and had a high slit on it. She fiercely glared at Vince for a moment before turning to Sirzechs. "How do you do, current Maou Sirzechs-dono?"
"The one descended from the blood of the previous Leviathan. Katerea Leviathan. What is the meaning of this?" Sirzechs asked looking at her.
Rena frowned and readied her weapon along with Kasumi and Akari, but Vince shook his head and whispered. "Don't. This isn't a good place to start a fight and we have to stall this out as long as we can. So Rias and Issei can extract Gasper."
Rena, Kasumi and Akari hesitantly nodded, but still remained on guard.
"The members of the old Maou faction have nearly all decided to cooperate with the "Khaos Brigade"." Katerea annouced proudly.
"So it's a feud between the new and old Maou sides that has become full-scale. Devils are also difficult." Azazel said smiling nonchantly.
"Katerea, is it okay to interpret those words literally?" Sirzechs asked seriously, his playful tone gone.
"Sirzechs, it's exactly as I said. We are also taking charge of this attack right now." Katerea answered.
"So it's a coup d'état, huh?" Sirzechs commented.
(...A coup. That's rare, you don't hear that word said often.) Vince thought raising an eyebrow.
"...Katerea, why?"
Katerea crossed her arms, causing her bust to rise. "Sirzechs, we've only arrived at the exact opposite idea of this meeting today. We've concluded that, since God and the original Maou are gone, this world should be reformed."
(Tch... I don't care much about the world but these people are really full of themselves if they think they're in charge.) Vince thought, with an irritated expression.
Kiba noticed this and placed his hand on Vince's shoulder gaining his attention. He shook his head and Vince nodded bitterly.
"Has that Ophis seen that far ahead into the future? Though that doesn't seem likely." Azazel questioned.
Katerea just let out a breath in response to the question. "Aside from being a symbol of power, he just bears the position for the sake of gathering power. We've asked for his help to destroy the world and rebuild it again. -We will be the ones to manage the new world."
"So, who exactly gave you or the Khaos Brigade? Last time I checked nobody gave either of you the right to do that." Vince asked, his eyes narrowing after hearing the answer.
Katerea turned to Vince with a disgusted look before she glared at him. "I suggest you keep your mouth shut human, nobody gave you the permission to speak and I'm still very furious at your earlier comment."
Instead of being insulted, he merely shrugged his shoulders. "That's not much of an insult, coming from a washed out relic that's past it's prime."
Katerea glared hatefully towards Vince and released an enormous amount of killing intent, directed at him. "You will regret that remark, human."
Gabriel stood in front of Vince protectively, along with Rena, Kasumi and Akari. Before Katerea could do anything, Sirzechs stood in front of her. "So you're a gathering of angel, fallen angel, and devil rebels who want their own world and a new Earth that they rule over. The mediator of that is the "Uroboros" Ophis."
"Katerea-chan! Why are you doing such a thing!?" Serafall shouted.
Katerea turned towards Serafall with a hateful expression. "Serafall, how dare you act so shamelessly, as the one who stole the position of "Leviathan" from me! I'm descended from the original Leviathan! I was the one suited to be Maou!"
"Katerea-chan...I-I!"
"Don't worry, Serafall. Today, I'll kill you at this place and take the title of Maou Leviathan for myself. Then, Ophis will become the god of the new world. It's fine if he's just a symbol. The system"and laws, the doctrine will be constructed by us. Michael, Azazel, and Lucifer—Sirzechs, your era is over." Katerea declared.
The expressions of Sirzechs, Serafall, Michael and Gabriel all darkened at Katerea's words.
Vince merely rolled his eyes at the declaration. "And you want to be Maou? Please. You're no different from a common Stray Devil."
Katerea's eye twitched violently and before she could respond Azazel chuckled loudly with a smile. "You, boy. I'll deal with you in a minute. Azazel, what's so funny?!"
"Hahaha. Vince really hit the nail on the mark. So you- no, you people will reform this world all together, huh?" Azazel asked still chuckling.
"That's right. That's exactly right, Azazel. This world is..."
Azazel interrupted Katerea and let out and laughed. "In decay? Humans are foolish? The Earth will be destroyed? Oi, oi, oi, aren't things prospering nowadays?"
Katerea's eye twitched towards his response. "Azazel, you're the same as ever. Even though you have so much power, you're satisfied with the current world..."
"Let me tell you. Your goal is too clichéd and harsh. And yet, people like that are limited to those who are excessively strong. Geez, it's really a nuisance for others. Descendant of Leviathan, your words are just like those of a villain who's about to die, you know that?" Azazel asked shaking his head a little.
"Azazel! You would ridicule us this far!" Katerea shouted completely enraged.
A powerful magical aura gushed out of her body as she glared at Azazel and then towards Vince.
Azazel then stood up from his seat and began to release a gloomy aura. "Sirzechs, Michael, I'll take care of it. Don't help, okay? That also goes for you Gabriel, and especially you Vince."
Vince just snorted. "No promises but go ahead. Dealing with a delusional idiot like her isn't really my forte. Just try not to break any bones in the process, old man."
Both Katerea's and Azazel's eye twitched in response to insult as he muttered to himself. "I'm not old..."
"Katerea, do you have no intention of surrendering?" Sirzechs asked in a serious tone.
Katerea mearly shook her head. "That is correct, Sirzechs. You were a good Maou. However, you weren't the best Maou. That's why we are aiming to be the new Maou."
"I see. That's too bad."
Azazel pointed at the window with his hand and the whole area at the window was blown off by a blast of light. He unfolded twelve black wings and turned to Katerea with a fearless smile. "Descendant of the former Maou Leviathan. One of the "Monsters of the End". Not a bad opponent. Katerea Leviathan, are you dressed up for a bout of Armageddon with me?"
Katerea responded with a fearless smile of her own. "I was just wishing for that, Governor of the angels who fell."
Azazel and Katerea flew out the window and intense battle unfolded between the two.
An anxious look came across Kiba's face along with a look of confusion. Sirzechs then turned towards him and spoke up. "Kiba Yuuto-kun. Me, Micheal and Gabriel will keep strengthening the barrier covering this school. Now that Azazel and Katerea are running wild, the damage may become big. Sorry about this, but until Grayfia finishes her analysis of the magicians' transfer-use magic circle, could you deal with the magicians outside?"
Kiba's eyes widened at the order but, nodded. "Yes, sir."
Sirzechs nodded thankfully. "Thank you. I'm glad that you're my sister's knight. Please use that Balance Breaker for the sake of my sister and your comrades."
"Yes! Xenovia, please come with me!" Kiba urged.
"Yeah, I'm also Rias Gremory's "Knight". Kiba Yuuto, I think we're two similar blades. Now, let's go." Xenovia replied.
"Excuse me for interrupting. Micheal, I would like to ask you a question." Vince said, interrupting the conversation.
Micheal nodded and turned to him. "Yes, Reinhart-kun?"
"Do you recall anymore incidents about the holy sword project?" He questioned, frowning.
Kiba's eyes widened greatly as the others looked genuinely surprised at the question, which the exception of Rena was surprised for a different reason. Micheal then shook his head, "No. I don't believe so."
"Let me rephrase the question then." Vince crossed his arms, he then turned towards Micheal with a cold expression. "Do you recall an incident called the CHSP?"
Micheal's eyes widened at the reminder. "How do you know about that? Unless..."
"Yes. I was apart of the incident, or rather I was one of the few people that were deeply involved in the case." Vince answered seriously.
"What is the CHSP?" Kiba asked seriously, his smile and tone gone.
"It's a codename for the incident. It stands for the Copy Holy Sword Project. To put it simply, Valper had a colleague who was a fan of his work at the time." Vince stated, crossing his arms.
Rena rubbed her temples and sighed. "Why did you bring that up Vince? I thought you wanted to keep it a secret."
"I thought it would be a good time to reveal it during the meeting when I had the chance. Unfortunately, the Khaos Brigade happened." He explained, also rubbing his temples.
"I didn't know a copy related incident of the Holy Sword Project happened." Sirzechs commented, he then turned to Micheal who sighed.
"It was another incident that was a horrible reminder of the past. Thankfully, no one was sacrificed, but from the reports there was a loss." He answered sadly.
Kiba and Xenovia nodded to each other seriously and left to the school yard with serious expressions.
The others then turned to Vince with him raising an eyebrow. "What?"
"I know this is asking a lot but can you and your friends assist Kiba Yuuto, and Xenovia deal with the magicians?" Sirzechs asked with the rest of the remaining people in the room looking at him.
Vince sighed turned to the three girls standing beside him. "Rena, Kasumi, Akari. Do you three want to fight?"
The three nodded and Kasumi spoke up. "Yes, we want to help our friends defend the school."
"Yeah, we can't just stand here and do nothing." Akari added with a look of determination.
Rena placed her hands on top of Vince's hands and lightly squeezed it. "And we have to make sure the treaty is a success. We still have a lot of things to do. Remember our goal, Vince? I'm sure Chloe-nee would want us to help."
Vince's eyes saddened a little, at realizing what she meant but sighed. "Fine. ...Let's go visit her after we finish this mess."
Rena nodded sadly in response. "Right."
An awkward silence filled the room between the two, Vince and Rena stood silent while Kasumi, Akari and Gabriel looked worried and Shura raised an eyebrow. Vince shook his head and turned to her. "Hey Shura, you mind keepin' an eye on the leaders here? I rather not have any magicians being able to sneak up near here."
"Ya, no problem. It's also why I was here, incase something like this happened. Go ahead with your girlfriends." Shura answered, waving her hand.
A tickmark appeared on Vince's face while said girls blushed. "Whatever."
"Please be very careful out there Vince and be sure not to fight alone and be careful where you fight. I'm sure a lot more magicians will appear the further you go in the school yard." Gabriel advised looking concerned.
"Alright, alright I get it. Sheesh, you sound like a worried wife." Vince jumped out of the window and landed on a small water platform that was created underneath his feet, with Kasumi, Akari and Rena following suite.
"Wife?"
Shura grinned and pulled out a pocket sized dictionary. "Wife, a married woman considered in relationship to her husband. Ya know, as in marriage. Holy matrimony, get it?"
Gabriel looked away shyly and lightly blushed as she realized what Vince meant. Micheal sighed and turned to Shura. "Please don't tease my sister, Shura."
"Yeah, yeah." Shura said, waving her hand casually. Serafall saw the look on Gabriel's face and snickered.

"Hah!" Kiba's holy demonic sword destroyed through each magic barrier as the sword was plunged into one of the magician's body.
"They're endless." Xenovia fired an energy wave from Durandal and gouged out the a large portion of the school yard and slaughtered a number of magicians within range. She then ran in deeper in the school yard.
Kiba noticed a magician near him, but a kunai was tossed and the magician slumped to the floor due to the kunai being lodged into his skull. He turned around to see Kasumi, who thrown the kunai. "Are you okay, Kiba-san?"
"Yes, thank you Kasumi-san." Kiba smiled and nodded in thanks. "Umm, where's Akari-san, Rena-san and Vince-kun?"
Kasumi sighed and pointed to Akari, she immediately teleported in front of magician completely catching him off guard and stabbed him in the heart with a wakazashi. She kicked him away and with great speed went towards the next magician and sliced him in half, before he had a chance to react.
Kiba sweatdropped in response to the brutality of her killing blows. "Is Akari-san still having trouble controlling the negative emotions from Alpha-152?"
Kasumi nodded in response as she tossed a kunai behind her, which impaled a magician from behind. "She does, but it doesn't completely take over her. Akari is still having trouble using Alpha's abilities to the fullest extend though."
A magic circle suddenly appeared and both Kasumi and Kiba were surrounded by magicians. She sighed and unsheathed a wakazashi. "Looks like we're cornered."
Kiba also sighed but readied his sword. "Yes, we'll have to be more careful."
Kasumi and Kiba looked towards each other and nodded before the charged at the magicians whom readied a protective barrier and multiple magic bullets.
Meanwhile, Xenovia and Akari stood side by side as they were surrounded by two groups of magicians. Akari grabbed Xenovia and teleported as far as she could from the groups as the groups fired multiple magic bullets at them, despite being twelve inches away from them Xenovia took this chance and fired a large energy wave from Durandal that destroyed the portion of the school yard along with the magicians. Xenovia smiled and turned to Akari. "Thank you for the assistance."
Akari breathed a little heavily but nodded. "Sure no problem, Xenovia-san."
"Are you okay? You look a little exhausted." Xenovia stated with concerned look.
"I'll be fine. It's just teleporting someone along with me really takes a lot of energy." She answered, she took a deep breath and sighed.
"Sorry."
"It's not your fault." Akari said, waving off the apology.
Just then a magic circle appeared and the two were surrounded by a group of magicians.
"Will this ever end?" Akari asked frowning.
"It won't until the source is gone." Xenovia answered, also frowning.

"You're in the way!" Vince thrusted the sharp end of the staff in between the magician's legs causing him to scream out in pain. He channeled lightning into the staff and electrocuted him, until he stopped spasming and slumped to the ground.
"That was rather brutal." Rena commented, she channeled senjutsu into her rapier and pierced through one of the protected barriers of one of the magicians and into his heart, ending his life.
"That's the pot calling the kettel black." He responded, he twirled his staff and shot out a water torrent that overwhelmed a magician. Vince clenched his hand and the water surrounded the magician and crushed his body under the pressure.
"Oh very funny." Rena quipped, she backflipped over a magic bullet from a magician and responded by blowing him away with a gust of wind from her rapier.
"Mind covering for me?" Vince asked, he shot out a torrent of water from his staff and blasted a magician with a high intensity of water, breaking through his protective barrier.
"Sure." Rena raised her rapier and channeled wind into it before slashing through the protective barrier and repeated the process to slash the magicians.
"...Give me strength." Vince planted his staff in the ground and a unusual magic circle that emitted holy energy for a moment, as two large pure white wings grew out his back.
The magician's eyes widened at the transformation, they quickly fired a plethora of magic bullets at him. Rena's eyes widened, she quickly got in front of Vince and quickly created a wind shield with her rapier. She grimaced as she was pushed back from the force of the attacks. "Vince, a little help here? My shield won't last for long!"
"No problem. Maelstrom!" Vince plunged his staff into the ground and a giant whirlpool appeared from underneath the magicians' feet. They tried to fire another round of magic bullets but Vince violently stomped the ground, the whirlpool increased in size and sucked in the remaining magicians. "Rena, give me some wind!"
"Here goes! Tornado!" Rena raised her rapier and a tornado appeared from the sky. The tornado landed on top of the maelstrom and clashed with it, causing both the maelstrom and the tornado to rotate violently.
Both Vince and Rena flicked their fingers and the tornado along with the maelstrom dispersed violently, all of the magicians that were sucked in were flung violently into different areas of the school.
Rena winced when she a magician fall face first a stair railing. "That guy won't be getting up anytime soon."
"Try never." Vince picked up his staff from the ground. "Form change."
The spearhead from the staff pivioted 90 degrees angle to the right and a curved lightning blade sprang from the the bottom of the gap, the staff now resembling a scythe. Unlike the last time, the curved lightning blade dangerously emitted holy energy.
A magic circle suddenly appeared and two groups of magicians appeared. Rena frowned and released a gust of wind from rapier, forcing the magicians to create a protective barrier. "This is endless."
"We'll just have to tough it out until the others finish." Vince raised his scythe and ran towards a magician, with Rena following suite.
The magicians quickly shot out a barrage of magic bullets at the duo. Vince slid underneath the bullets while Rena jumped over them. He quickly got up and swing his scythe at the magician, the magician raised a protective barrier but the scythe sliced right through it. Rena took this chance and slashed the magician in half.
Vince noticed a magician ready to fire a magic bullet at Rena, but was stopped after Vince hooked the blade around his head and sliced it clean off.
Rena nodded in thanks and pierced a magician in the heart, after seeing him readying an attack aimed for Vince.
"Vince can you keep them busy for me?" Rena asked as she barely dodged a magic bullet that was aimed at her chest.
"Not a problem, I'll take it from here." Vince channeled his holy lightning into his scythe, which caused it to emit even more holy energy and hurled it like a boomerang at the magicians. Their eyes widened as they saw the dangerous weapon headed towards them. A group quickly got together and created a protective barrier while another group fired a barrage of magic bullets headed towards Rena.
Vince raised his hand and created a torrent of white water that quickly formed into a wall around Rena, that blocked the attack. He noticed the scythe violently clashing again against the protective barrier of the other magicians and pointed his index and middle finger at the barrier. "Byakurai."
The large bolt of white lightning that shot out of Vince's finger tips and straight through the barrier along with the scythe, it quickly sliced all of the remaining magicians in half before returning to Vince, he caught it by the handle and grimaced from seeing his scythe filled with blood. "...Gross."
The second group of magicians turned their attentions towards Vince and fired a multitude of magic bullets. He quickly brought his hands up and created a white water shield that surrounded him.
Vince struggled to maintain the shield and quickly made another shield as the first one was destroyed. "Hurry up, Rena!"
"...Lightbloom!" Rena began twirling on the spot while shooting many orbs of white light, all headed towards the magicians.
The magicians quickly noticed and raised a protective barrier together to block the orbs of light. Rena continued to twirl, her spinning became more elegant and the speed of the orbs of light increased, soon cracks appeared on the protective barrier. Before they could respond the orbs of light shattered through the protective barrier.
The speed of Rena's twirling soon increased as did the number of orbs of light did. The magicians were then overwhelmed and blasted away by the orbs of light.
Rena stopped twirling and Vince blinked owlishly, he saw that the magicians were spread across the field, all of them not moving with various injuries and burns across their bodies. (I didn't think Rena's spell would cause burns. But then again, light can burn with enough power. ...Damn.)
"Cutting it a little close, weren't you?" Vince asked, he swung his scythe hard enough for the blood to come off and splatter the school yard.
"And what about you with your transformation? I almost got hurt because of that." Rena retorted, frowning a little.
"Whatever. Anyway, you should go back to support the others." Vince suggested, his weapon turned back into a scythe and he sealed it inside his ring.
"You're kidding right?" Rena asked, as she wiped the blood from her rapier with a well placed swing.
"No. I'm going back to support the others too. If we go further in, we'll only exhaust ourselves. Besides we'll be able to recover our stamina a little faster with them helping out." Vince explained, he started walking back and Rena followed him.
"Yeah, you're right. We won't be much help if we tire ourselves out." She agreed with a small nod.
Before the two continue walking another magic circle appeared and the two were surrounded by a group of magicians. Both Rena's and Vince's eye twitched violently due to the sudden appearance of them. "Again!?"
Vince summoned Totsuka from his hand and unsheathed it. "It's good thing we have experience with these types of fights."
"No kidding..."
"Let's finish them off and meet with the others." Vince held the katana with his right hand and the sheath with his left hand.
"Yeah. They're probably worried about us." With great speed Rena disappeared from the magician's sights and thrusted her rapier into one of the magician's stomach, before kicking him away and following up by blasting another magician with a gust of wind.
Vince sighed and dashed towards the magicians. They fired a barrage of magic bullets at him, but he dodged the majority of the magic bullets but was forced to use the sheath as a shield to deflect one of them. The magicians immediately created a barrier, Vince frowned and slashed the barrier in half with the katana. "Pain in the ass..."
He got within range of one of the magicians and brutally jabbed the sheath into one of the magician's throat, while simultaneously stabbing another magician that was near with a well placed slash to the waist. "Goodbye."
The magicians fired another barrage of magic bullets at close range. Vince rolled his eyes and took the two bodies of the magicians he attacked and used them as shields.
They looked relatively mortified at this action and glared at Vince. He however took this chance plunged his katana into the ground. Several light chains appeared from underneath them and tightly coiled around their bodies, restricting their movements.
"Burn in the light!" Vince grabbed Totsuka from the ground and slammed it into the ground releasing a large wave of light, consuming and destroying the magicians along with a portion of the school yard.
He placed the katana back into his sheath while observing the destroyed portion of the school yard. (Sheesh, reminds me of Xenovia when she goes trigger happy with Durandal's explosive light attacks.)
Vince dismissed the holy-sword and turned towards Rena's direction.
Rena kicked a magician in the throat with a senjutsu enhanced kick and quickly blasted away another magician with a burst of light from her rapier.
She leaped over a multitude of magic bullets that were fired at her and countered by violently blowing them away with a strong cyclone.
"Wind!" Rena raised her rapier and created a small twister from rapier that sucked in the magicians. She moved her rapier forward and the twister mimic her actions, she dispersed the small twister and all of the magicians violently fell to the ground. Seeing them disoriented Rena released several blades of wind by swinging her rapier quickly. The blades of wind then, sliced through the magicians, ending them.
Rena grimaced at the damage she did but sighed and turned towards Vince's direction. "At least I'm done for now."
"I've finished my end. How are you doing?" Vince asked curiously.
"I'm done. There's a lot of magicians out here. I didn't think there would be this much." Rena spoke, looking slightly winded.
"Yeah there's a lot of them, it's nearly endless but I'm sure there's a limit..." Vince shook his head and started running along with her. "No time to waste, let's go."
"Right."
(If I had to take a guess then the Khaos Brigade were expecting more people to join in on the treaty and had more magicians lined up to overwhelm everyone. This problem won't end until we take down the one behind this attack and until Gasper is safe.) Vince frowned and speed up after noticing Rena was far ahead of him.

Kasumi flipped over a magician's back and stabbed him in the back with her wakazashi, she noticed a magician near her and tossed a kunai, to which he responded by blocking it with a protective barrier, unaware of Akari appearing behind him. She slashed him in half and teleported in front of another magician, surprising him.
Akari tossed the magician into the air and jump on top of him, and repeatedly stomped on his face with her feet as he was slammed into the ground.
Kasumi then launched a magician into the air along with Akari and another magician. The two wrapped their legs around their necks and back flips downwards, smashing the magician's skulls to the ground.
Both Kiba and Xenovia saw this and winced.
"Kasumi and Akari are much more brutal than I thought." Xenovia stated with Kiba nodding in agreement.
The duo noticed the looks they received and turned to Kiba and Xenovia. "Is something wrong?"
"No, nothing's wrong Kasumi-san." Kiba spoke with a smile.
"You know, I wouldn't mind having you two do that to me. Minus the skull bashing of course." A familiar voice said.
Kasumi and Akari blushed vividly as they turned to see Vince walking with Rena, who looked irritated at the comment.
"What happened? Both of you look very exhausted and you're covered in blood." Kiba asked looking concerned.
"It's not our blood. We were deeper in the school yard and got ambushed by a lot of magicians." Rena answered tiredly.
"We didn't get hurt. But dealing with that many enemies started tiring us out. At least for now, we can rest a little." Vince said as he sat on the ground. He noticed the looks he received from Kiba and Xenovia. "What is it?"
"Sorry, it's just unusual seeing you as an angel. And your wings are covered in blood." Kiba said smiling apologetically.
"It is. I'm also curious as to how you did not "fall" after swearing in the conference room." Xenovia added, nodding a bit.
"Well, let's just say that I have much more freedom compared to other angels." He answered cryptically.
"Rena, if you don't mind me asking. Who was the person you talked about earlier?" Kasumi asked curiously.
Xenovia and Kiba raised an eyebrow while Rena's expression turned slightly gloomy. "That's my older sister. Her name is Chloe."
Vince winced a little and Kiba looked concerned. "What happened?"
"I rather not talk about it." Rena stated.
Vince stretched his wings along with his arms. "I'm not talking about it either. ...It's a sore subject for us."
Kasumi nodded sadly. "I'm sorry for asking."
"It's okay. You didn't know." Rena said with a small nod.
A large magic circle suddenly appeared as two groups of magicians walked out of it. Rena sighed and readied her rapier. "Looks like there's still more magicians."
"But it took a few minutes for them to set up the next wave." Akari pointed out.
"It might be that they're trying to recover their losses." Kasumi suggested.
Vince got up from the ground and dismissed Totsuka. "Either that or they wanted to lure us in a false sense of security."
Kiba readied his sword and nodded. "We'll have to be careful though. I hope Buchou and Issei-kun are doing fine."
"They should be. They'll be fighting in a closed space so they'll have less magicians to fight." Rena explained as she readied her rapier.
"Regardless, let's take them out." Vince summoned Arondight, which appeared next to him. "Time to fall, I guess."
[Vince, are you sure you want to do that?] Yume asked aloud, gaining everyone's attention.
"Yume?"
"What do you mean by that Yume?" Rena asked raising an eyebrow.
[When using the demon-sword it puts an emotional strain on him, because of that he can use it at least once a day. Vince, if you use that sword right now there's a good chance you're going to be more vunerable to your dark emotions and you'll be emotionally exhausted right afterwards. Are you sure you want to do that?] Yume asked, she noticed the surprised looks he received from the explanation but looked at him.
"I'm okay with that. Besides, I don't have much of a choice. I need the boost in power to finish this quickly." He grabbed Arondight, he clutched his head as if in pain as his wings turned obsidian black and a black aura enveloped his body.
"Be careful with that form Vince, we don't need to get hit in the crossfire." Rena said shaking her head.
"Bite me, battle elf." Vince gripped his handle on the blade and charged in like a mad man.
A tickmark appeared on Rena as she glared at his retreating figure. "Dark emotions or not, I will get him for that remark."
Kiba sighed and dodged a magic bullet from a magician. "Please focus on the fight at hand, Rena-san."
"I don't think Rena heard you, Kiba-san." Akari pointed to Rena who currently emitted a powerful aura from her body.
Rena's eyes narrowed dangerously, she clenched her fist. She noticed a magic bullet headed towards her and destroyed it with a kick. Rena saw the magician that launched the attack and with great speed vanished from his sights and appeared in front of the magician and thrusted her rapier into his heart, ending his life.
She wiped the blood from her weapon and charged into the horde of magicians with great speed.
Kiba sighed and quickly followed Rena, cutting down any magicians that she didn't cut down.
Kasumi also sighed and charged in with Akari and Xenovia following.
Akari jumped on top of a magician's neck and backflipped him before plunging her wakazashi into his heart. She quickly removed her wakazashi and flipped it in a reverse grip. Akari's eyes darted around the field, she took into account the amount of magicians in her sight. They fired a barrage of magic bullets at her, but she disappeared in a flurry of cherry blossom petals and reappeared behind them.
Akari swiftly sliced through the bodies of the magicians, she kicked an unexpected magician into the air and dug her wakazashi into his body before ripping it in half. She noticed another magician ready to fire a magic bullet at her, before she could react a wakazashi blade stuck out of his chest as he was swiftly ripped apart.
"Thank you for the help Kasumi." Akari said smiling.
"You're welcome Akari."
The two noticed they were surrounded by a small group of magicians, they fired a plenthora of magic bullets at them. They both disappeared in a flurry of cherry blossom petals and appeared behind them. The duo then proceeded to brutally slice them in half with their respective weapons. They glanced towards each other and nodded, before running up ahead.
After running up ahead they saw Xenovia fired an powerful energy wave from Durandal, slaughtering a large number of magicians along with another chunk of the school yard.
Kasumi and Akari saw another magic circle appeared, in front of them was another group of magicians.
The two turned towards each other and nodded. They brought their hands back together, a pink energy suddenly appeared in the palms of their hands. The magicians saw this and got together to create a protective barrier.
"Torn Sky Blast!" Kasumi and Akari both fired a pink electric energy beam from their hands. The powerful beams collided with the barrier and within a few moments overpowered the barrier and eliminated the remaining magicians.
"That was a powerful attack. What was that?" Xenovia commented, seeing the attack for herself.
"Ninpo." The two answered at the same time.
Kasumi and Akari glanced at each other annoyed before they turned to Xenovia who sweatdropped slightly.
"Let's go find the others." Kasumi said as she turned towards the two.
"Agreed." Xenovia replied.
"Right." Akari answered with a small nod.
"Hey, are you okay?" Rena asked walking towards them with Kiba following her.
"Are you okay, Rena? You sort of charged off there." Kasumi asked looking concerned.
"Oh, I'm fine now. Kiba helped me out a lot of with the group of magicians." She replied with a small shrug.
Kiba smiled and laughed a little. "I didn't do much. Rena-san took care a majority of them." He then gestured towards the school yard a few inches ahead of them, the entire school yard was missing chunks of the ground, filled with various holes and magicians lying in various parts of the school yard.
Akari sweatdropped in response. "Touki is a really powerful ability."
Kasumi and Xenovia also nodded as they observed the school yard, looking mildly surprised.
"It is, but I do have trouble controlling it, it also doesn't help that Vince likes to poke fun at me from time to time." Rena admitted, sighing.
Akari blinked owlishly, "Even though he knows how strong you are?"
"Yes. Vince, doesn't care much about that." She said shaking her head.
"We should probably try to find Vince-kun, now. It's too dangerous to be alone." Kiba pointed out.
"Yes, Kiba-san is right. Let's go look for Vince." Kasumi stated, nodding in agreement.
"I don't think that's necessary." Rena pointed towards the middle of the school yard.
"Eat it!" Everyone heard Vince's voice and turned to the direction where the voice came from and saw Vince shoving Arondight through a magician's face. They cringed at the brutality and looked away.
"Outta my way!" Vince engulfed his hand in darkness and punched through one of the barriers from a magician, he swung his sword violently and slashed said magician in half. The magicians quickly fired multiple magic bullets at him.
He grabbed one of the bodies of the fallen magicians and tossed it front of him, to take the brunt of the attack. Vince hopped over the remaining magic bullets heading towards him and slammed Arondight into ground.
"Shatter!" Numerous dark tendrils shot out of the ground and instead of going for the magicians that fired the attack, destroyed the magicians that tried to create a protective barrier.
Another barrage of magic bullets were fired in response to Vince's attack. He raised his sword and used it as a shield to block most of the attacks, a stray bullet grazed his cheek while another grazed his knee. "...Bastards."
"You're dead!" Vince ignored the blood that poured from the wounds and dashed towards the magicians with great speed. He grabbed a magician by the throat and shoved Arondight right through his chest.
Vince lunged at another magician with his sword in hand and sneered. He brought Arondight to the magician's face and stabbed him with the blade. "Hope that stings a bit."
He then grabbed the body and tossed the body at the group of magicians. They quickly tried to set up another protective barrier while firing another barrage of magic bullets, Vince brought his sword up and blocked a majority of the bullets, with the exception of a few that grazed his black wings.
"Dammit." Vince grunted in pain from but countered by slashing his sword upwards near a magician. A trail of darkness followed the sword's swing and devoured the protective barrier the magician made in response to the slash. Vince then headbutted the magician and followed up by punching his neck, sending the magician a few feet away due to the force of the punch.
He plunged his sword into the ground. Countless demonic claws shot up out from the ground and grabbed all of the magicians currently in the school yard. "There's no escape!"
Their eyes widened as they screamed, they tried to destroy the claws with magic bullets but their attacks were had little effect. Vince brought his hands together and the claws mimicked his movements. The magicians struggled to break free from the claws, via magic bullets but to no avail.
Upon contact the numerous demonic claws formed into a massive demonic claw, colored blood red. Vince picked up Arondight from the ground, he heaved it over his shoulder. "Since all of you seem to have a death wish..."
It tightly squeezed the magicians as their screams echoed across the school yard, a few moment later the demonic claw exploded. Ashes, slowly fell to ground until a small breeze picked up and blew the ashes into the winds. "They should have ran when they had the chance."
"Vince-kun!"
Vince turned to his left to see Kiba along with the others. He then raised an eyebrow. "I guess you saw all of that?"
"It was hard not to." Rena shook her head and sighed. "You really were brutal with your attacks you know?"
"Says you. I saw what you did to the school yard when you used Touki." Vince retorted, causing her to flush in embarrassment.
Rena placed a hand on her hip and gave Vince a certain look, making him slightly wince. "That was your fault! You know I don't like to be called that."
"Tch."
"Vince, are you okay?" Kasumi asked sounding concerned.
"Do you need to take a break?" Akari questioned, also looking concerned.
Vince lightly frowned and placed his hands on both of their heads after placing Arondight in the ground. "I should be asking you two that question. You're both covered in blood."
The two pouted a little and Kasumi spoke up. "But you're covered in even more blood than both us."
"I guess. ...Oh, I almost forgot." Vince tapped Arondight's blade and a twilight colored blue orb appeared on top of it.
"Are you going to eat that orb again?" Xenovia asked cautiously.
"Yeah, why?"
"Well, it's just that it's a bit morbid to find out what that orb is made out of and that you're going to eat it." Kiba admitted with a sheepish smile.
"This orb is also twice the size as the other one too." Akari pointed out.
"Sheesh, you guys worry too much. This is only made from their stamina and magical power, it's not like it's their soul or something." Vince grabbed the orb and devoured it whole, despite having some difficulty swallowing it.
The others took a step back immediately upon noticing the black aura intensified. Vince stood completely still for a moments until clutched his chest in pain, dropping Arondight in the process. His breathing turned ragid as he felt the surge of power flow through his body. "U-Urgh..."
Rena, Kasumi and Akari tried to go to Vince but raised his hand to signal them stop and they did, abeit hesistantly.
The black aura around his body flared up violently, he took a deep breath. The black aura eventually calmed down. Vince breathed a sigh of relief, his eyes then darted to Arondight. (That was a close call. Now that I think about it, I've been having a lot of those lately. I can't afford to take anymore risks. Not until I save Chloe at least, it's my fault that she's...)
Vince was brought out of his thoughts upon noticing his wings and the black aura in his body slowly fading. (I can't maintain this form for long, I'm almost out of stamina.)
He picked up Arondight from the ground upon contact it created a powerful aura of darkness around the blade. To everyone's surprise, the blade absorbed the aura along around the blade. Suddenly the aura violently lashed out and started destroying the ground around him.
"That's enough." Vince sighed and swung the sword causing the black aura to disperse, he dismissed Arondight as his wings completely faded ending the transformation. "...Stupid sword."
Vince fell to his knees and would have fallen face first if it wasn't for Kiba holding on to him. "Are you okay, Vince-kun?"
"No. I feel like crap." Vince answered, as he was then helped up by Akari.
"Vince, where did you put it?" Rena asked curiously.
"In my left pocket." He replied tiredly, already knowing what she was reffering to.
Rena nodded and quickly went into his pocket, she pulled out a small vial and opened the cork on it. "Drink up Vince."
Vince nodded and opened his mouth as Rena fed him the vial, she tossed the vial away. Xenovia then raised an eyebrow. "Is that the vial from when you had the sparring match?"
"Yes, it is."
A few moments later, Vince's injuries healed and his fatigue vanished completely. He stopped holding on to Akari and Kiba for support. "Much better."
"Those elixirs reminds me a lot of the phoenix tears." Kiba pointed out. "If you don't mind me asking, what's in them?"
"Well, there's a lot of natural herbs in there and a dew from a special tree that makes the elixir very potent." Rena answered causing him to nod.
Xenovia then raised an eyebrow. "There are very few trees that can do that. What type of tree is it?"
"It's a tree of life." She replied in a cryptically.
Vince chuckled a little at Xenovia's confusion towards the cryptic answer. (The elixir is kinda similar to the Phoenix Tears. From what I read the Phoenix Tears can even attach a severed limb. Elixirs on the other hand, fully heals the person's stamina but they both have the same trait of healing injuries instantly. Their kinda like two sides of the same coin.)
"Vince-kun, Rena-san. If you don't mind me asking, can explain more about the CHSP incident?" Kiba asked seriously.
The two turned to each other with a hesitant look, after a few moments of silence Rena sighed sadly and spoke up. "To summarize the CHSP is pretty much recreation of from what we heard of the original Holy Sword Project. It happened some time after the original one happened. My father didn't give us too much details about it at the time, he just said that it wasn't one of the church's brightest moments."
"The circumstances were a bit more dangerous in a way. If the person in charge succeeded then nearly everybody in the town where I lived at would have been a sacrifice for that project." He continued, surprising Kiba.
"Where is the man now?" He asked, barely restraining his killing intent.
Vince sighed and rubbed his temples in frustration, at the question. "He's dead Kiba. Rena's father made sure of it."
From the sky, a roaring sound could be heard, as well as a dazzling light. When everyone looked above, Azazel and Katerea were attacking and defending intensely.
Azazel made multiple thick and heavy spears of light easily exceeding his own height appear, and threw them at Katerea. Katerea then laid out several layers of defensive magic circles and blocked the light attacks.
"Huh, so the old man and the old relic can bark and bite." Vince commented as he observed Azazel and Katerea fighting.

Author's Notes: Finally done with the chapter. It took a while to write things how I wanted, but I mainly wanted to use this chapter to show a few things like how Vince and Rena fights together along with how Kasumi and Akari's both fight, along with Vince fighting in his angel and fallen angel forms.
The incident Vince and Rena were talking about will be explained even further after the treaty arc.
Kasumi fights exactly how she does in Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge. Though I did made sure not add anymore detail to the attacks themselves because of how brutal it can be. Akari's fighting style is similar to Kasumi's since she's Phase-4, but has the added ability to teleport.
