Author's Notes: I'm finally back with a chapter it took a little bit longer than I thought to finish the chapter but here it is.
Cobalt Striker Gundam: Vince always didn't like the church, but with what happened definitely gave him a bigger reason to not like it.

"Did you think that they were full of talk?" Rena asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah. Lately most people I've met with high positions are usually full of themselves." Vince answered bluntly.
Katerea took a small bottle out from her breast. She swallowed what seemed like a small black snake that seemed inside of the bottle.
At that instant. The ground shook violently, and a wave of power surged throughout the whole school yard.
Vince noticed this and rolled his eyes. "I know anything goes in a battle, but using that as a temporary boost in power is a little sad."
"But her power is nearly on par with Azazel now and you ate the magician's stamina and magic energy." Kiba commented.
"And? What's there's is mine. As for the fight it'll come down to who can outsmart the other." Vince answered back.
Azazel fired countless spears of light at her, but they easily vanished just by Katerea calmly moving her right hand sideways. Azazel was suddenly blindsided by an attack he couldn't respond to.
Everyone else's eyes widened greatly at the identity of the attacker with the exception of Vince who just sighed and Kasumi along with Akari who's eyes narrowed. "Why am I not surprised?"
"You were expecting this?" Xenovia questioned, frowning a little.
"Of course I was. Somebody in that conference room was a traitor. It was just a process of waiting for the traitor reveal their identity. I believed it was him because everyone else wanted to save their asses from another war." He answered with a small shrug.
Kasumi nodded at the reasoning and then turned towards him. "Wait. Was that the reason why you were fighting so ferociously earlier?"
"That's half of the reason. I wanted to see if there's a chance he can be provoked a little. It's what he mentioned earlier about wanting to fight strong guys. I wanted to see if fighting like that would provoke him into fighting. It looks like it worked." Vince explained sighing a little.
"That's a very dangerous plan to provoke the Hakuryuukou like that." Kiba remarked frowning a little.
He only responded by shrugging. "I don't plan on fighting him that mess is for the Three Factions to clean, not mine. I only wanted to snuff out the rat, or lizard in this case."
"Then what was the other reason for fighting?" Akari asked raising an eyebrow.
"Practice with my sacred gear. Using inanimate objects will only get me so far. Though, I will admit I overdid it a bit." Vince explained shaking his head.
"No kidding. I was starting to get worried about you when you were fighting like that." Rena remarked sighing.
"...Sorry."
Kiba nodded before he blinked. "So how exactly do you know about subjects like this?"
Vince then turned to Rena who sighed. "My father works as a special consultant for supernatural cases mostly involving stray magicians or exorcists. He sometimes gets regular cases too. Vince got involved in a few cases and learned how to investigate from watching my father."
Everyone turned to Vince who looked away, feeling uncomfortable from the sudden looks he received. "Either way, now that the lizard has been flushed out the only thing left to do is to let Rias and Issei know about this. It looks like he's going to the direction off the old school building."
"Vince."
Vince turned to Rena and raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"
"Be careful." Rena said giving him a small vial.
"This is another elixir. Are you sure about this?" Vince asked seriously.
"I wouldn't worry about it. I made an extra one just incase." She replied.
"Alright then, thanks." Vince pocketed the elixir and turned around to see another magic circle appearing on the ground.
Vince's eye violently twitched before he felt a hand on his shoulder, turning around he saw Kiba. "It's okay Vince-kun, we'll hold them off. Go on ahead and warn Buchou and Issei-kun."
"Right." A group of magicians appeared from the magic circle and everyone got their respective weapons ready.
Vince took his staff, Raging Soul and pointed it towards the ground, the others turned to him confused while he sighed slightly. "Word of warning. Take a few steps back, or you will get hurt."
Everyone took his advice and quickly backed away from the staff. Xenovia then looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "What do you plan to do?"
"Multitasking. Take out the remaining magicians if they survive." He twirled his staff and plunged it into the ground.
A great volume of water appeared from underneath Vince, as big as the school building itself. The magician's quickly fired magic bullets at him, but he responded by creating a water shield that blocked the attacks.
"I don't have time for this!" Vince crashed the entire wave of water on top of the magician's washing everyone in a violent torrent.
The entire school yard in front of Vince currently was swamped with water, enough to turn the ground of the school yard into a small pond. He ignored the surprised looks he received from the others and started skating on the water surface at an incredible speed.
"He wasn't kidding." Xenovia commented as she surveyed the area.
"Haha, well at least Vince-kun gave us a warning." Kiba replied with a small smile.
"It looks like Vince took out the remaining magicians. They were all crushed by the tidal wave." Akari stated, looking at the magicians who were scattered everywhere and remained unresponsive.
"Their barriers didn't even protect them much." Kasumi added, wincing a little.
Rena nodded in agreement. "It makes you wonder how dense Vince made the water to crush them. If they weren't crushed by the pressure from the water they probably drowned."

Vince sighed as he continued to skate across the water. "Yume, I need to ask you a favor."
[Sure, what is it Vince?] Yume asked curiously.
"I need you to give me control of the seal placed on Angel/Devil. I have a feeling I'll need the power of an ultimate-class in order to keep up." He answered seriously, Vince noticed him holding his staff and quickly sealed it away.
Yume nodded and spoke in a cherry tone. [Oh, okay. It'll take a few minutes to do that so can you wait until then?]
"...Huh? That's it? No disagreements or a small argument?" Vince asked raising an eyebrow.
[This is a very dangerous situation to be in Vince. So being able to use the full power of Angel/Devil is very necessary.] She replied seriously.
"Point taken. So, it'll take a few minutes right?" He questioned again, trying to reconfirm the answer.
[Yes, although you'll have to avoid using it until I'm finished.] Yume answered back.
"Alright."
An awkward silence began between the two as Vince continued to skate across the water at an intense speed. Yume sighed sadly and spoke up. [Are you okay Vince?]
"Yeah, why?"
[About what happened earlier...] Yume trailed off.
Vince rubbed his temples and sighed. "I'll be fine. Though, I shouldn't have underestimated my darker emotions like that. Especially since I've been bottling up a lot of problems that gotten on my nerves."
[I know that it was bit cruel to defeat the magicians like that but you did to help your friends. If it wasn't for that they would have been constantly ambushed by the magicians.] She said reassuringly.
He slowly nodded and glanced at his bracelet. "...Thanks. Yume, that extra energy I absorbed. Where did it go to?"
[I placed it all inside of Element Brand. Surprisingly enough, it absorbed all of the energy with no problem.] Yume answered, sounding mildly surprised.
"...Why?"
[I don't know yet, I'm still trying to figure that out. I'll try to find out later after I give you control of the seal.] She responded back.
"Alright."

"Eeek! Too much water!" Gasper shrieked as he took a few steps behind Rias.
"Ano... why is everything outside like a pond?" Issei asked in a confused tone.
"I don't know. If I had to take a guess it was Vince, since Sona is frozen." Rias guessed.
Vince noticed Rias, Issei and Gasper up ahead and skidded unintentionally causing the three to be splashed by a large wave of water.
"Aaaaah! My clothes are weeet!" Gasper complained, shivering a little from the coldness of the water.
"What was that for Vince?" Rias asked looking annoyed.
"Oops."
Issei then turned to Rias and gawked at being able to see through her wet shirt.
"Well look on the upside, you have a fan at least." Vince replied jokingly.
Rias then noticed Issei gawking at her and released killing intent, causing to pale and quickly look the other way. She then grabbed Vince's cheek and pinched it causing him to wince slightly. "Oh very funny, Vince! You made wet, fix it."
Vince swatted Rias' hand away from his cheek and lightly rubbed it. "Meh, it'll air dry."
Rias's eye twitched violently until Vince noticed a cut on her cheek and frowned. "What happened to your face?"
She then blinked before she placed a hand on her cheek. "It's nothing. One of the magicians fired a magic bullet at me."
Vince sighed and coated his left hand in water. "Stay still and don't move."
"What are you going to-" A blush appeared on Rias' face, Vince gently cupped her cheeks and placed his left hand on her cut.
The two stood there for a few moments as the cut on Rias face slowly healed. Afterwards Vince stopped coating his left hand in water and removed his hands away from her face, much to Rias' hidden ire. "Don't be reckless. Either way, I have something important to tell you."
"What is it?" Rias asked after calming down her blush.
"I found out who the traitor is." Vince stated seriously.
Rias frowned while Issei gulped, he then turned towards him. "W-Who is it?"
Something fell down right in front of the four. After the cloud of dust which enveloped it vanished, there was lied Azazel gravely injured. "...Tch. So you're betraying me under these circumstances, Vali."
"That's right, Azazel." Vali stood right before them along with Katerea.
"The instant you decided on peace, arrangements were made to invoke the Sacred Gear of the kidnapped half-vampire and begin the terrorist attack. The Hakuryuukou ran wild along with me once we saw a good time. It'd be good if we could bury any one of the leaders of the three great powers. It was fine if the meeting was broken because of that." Katerea said haughtily.
"I feel vulgar eyes. -Is this kid the Sekiryuutei, Vali?" She asked turning towards him.
"Yeah, while regrettable, it's true. He truly is a most regrettable host."
"Don't keep saying regrettable, regrettable! Even I'm living through every day doing my best! ...Or rather, why are you and Azazel confronting each other? Or rather, who is this onee-chan?" Issei asked looking confused.
Katerea then shook her head and gave him a look of pity. "I see. He really does seem to be a regrettable child. Vali, will you kill him?"
"My feelings are wavering on what to do. To be honest, I wasn't expecting for him to be there." Vali said shaking his head.
"Very well then I shall kill that brat over there. He clearly needs to be dealt with before he becomes a problem. Not to mention he will pay for insulting me." Katerea stated, turning her attention towards Vince.
Vince immediately went on guard with Issei, Rias and Gasper stiffening. He turned towards his bracelet and whispered. "Yume?"
[Not yet, Vince. Try to hold out for a little longer.] Yume replied sounding a bit worried.
He sighed a little bit and turned to Issei, who still kept looking at Katerea with a perverted grin. "You really need better taste in women Issei."
Katerea's eye twitched violently while Azazel laughed. "Kids really do have a way with words. Geez, and, I've also lost my edge. For one of my followers to do this and sheesh Vince, you really know how to make words hurt people..."
"When? When did you decide to do this?" He questioned looking at him.
Vali stored away his mask on his helmet with a metallic sound and showed his face. "I got the offer while I was en-route returning Kokabiel to headquarters. Sorry, Azazel. This side seems to be interesting."
Azazel then raised an eyebrow. "Vali, has the "Vanishing Dragon" capitulated to Ophis?"
"No, I'm just cooperating stubbornly. They gave an attractive offer. "Wouldn't you like to fight against the Asgard?" When they said that, as someone who wants to test my power, I couldn't decline. Azazel, you dislike the idea of fighting with Valhalla- the Asgard, right? You dislike war." Vali answered.
"I told you to "become strong", but I should have also said "don't only make factors that will destroy the world"." Azazel responded sighing a little.
"That's unrelated. I just want to fight eternally." He said simply.
"...I see. No, I may have anticipated somehow in my heart that you would leave my side. -Since the time we met till now, you wanted to fight with strong people." Azazel commented, sighing a little.
"The preparations and information outlet for this were thanks to the Hakuryuukou. It's unusual of you to have left him alone even though you understood his true nature. As a result, you've wrung your own neck." Katerea said sneering at Azazel.
Vali ignored the bitter smile Azazel gave out, hit his hand against his chest and turned to Issei. "My real name is Vali. -Vali Lucifer."
"I'm a descendent of the previous generation's Maou Lucifer who died. However, I'm a child of mixed blood born from a father who was the old Maou's grandson and a human mother. -I obtained the "Vanishing Dragon" 's Sacred Gear because I'm half-human. It was just by chance. However, I, who is a true blood relative of Lucifer and is also the "Vanishing Dragon", was born. If there really is such a thing as fate and miracles, I may be that. -Just joking." Vali said as several folds of devil wings grew from his back along with his wings of light from his armor.
An astonished expression appeared on Rias' features. "No way ...that can't be..."
"It's true. If there is such a ridiculous existence, it's him. He'll become the strongest Hakuryuukou of among those I knew in the past and present, and probably of all time as well." Azazel answered, confirming it.
Vince however just yawned a little gaining everyone's attention. He then noticed their looks and shrugged. "What? You expect me to be shocked or impressed? All you managed to do was bore me."
An annoyed look appeared on Vali's face while Katerea shook her head. "You truly are foolish to underestimate the Hakuryuukou, boy. No matter, I will deal with you soon. Have you resolved yourself, Azazel?
"...Tch, that volume of aura that swelled up earlier, what did you get from that bastard Ophis?" Azazel questioned.
Katerea merely smiled at his question. "Yes, he who is the dragon that possesses infinite power. For the sake of the world's reformation, I borrowed a little of his power. Thanks to that I can fight against you. There's even a chance that I can beat Sirzechs and Micheal. They're such foolish Governors. So are you. I would also be able to deal with Gabriel."
Vince's barely held back the urge to attack Katerea at her last comment and turned to his bracelet while whispering. "Yume. Please tell me I'm good to go."
[I'm sorry Vince, I'm only half-way finished. I have to sort through a lot of things.] Yume whispered sadly.
Vince nodded but gritted his teeth.
"...So I am. I may be foolish. I can't do anything without Shemhaza. I'm just a Sacred Gear enthusiast. -But you know, do you really think to the extent that Sirzechs and Michael are idiots? At least they're far superior than someone mediocre like you, and you defeating Gabriel is laughable." Azazel remarked.
"What nonsense! Very well, I'll deal the finishing blow right here and now. I will destroy you, the Governor of the fallen angels, as the first step of the creation of a new world!" Katerea spoke strongly.
Azazel however looked amused and took out an object which looked like a dagger from his pocket. "That's-" He pointed the tip of the dagger at Katerea who was looking at it suspiciously.
"...I have gone beyond being a Sacred Gear enthusiast. I also produce them myself. I've built replicas. Well, almost all of them are garbage. God, the one who developed the Sacred Gears, was amazing. That's the only thing I respect him for. -However, they're incomplete. It's because God and Maou died while leaving behind "bugs" which can just upset the world's balance like the "Longinus" and "Balance Breaker". Well, that's why Sacred Gears are interesting though." Azazel announced in a proud tone.
"...Not bad." Vince muttered looking a little impressed.
"Be at a peace of mind. Things like Sacred Gears absolutely won't be made in the new world. Even without such things, the world functions. -Eventually, we'll make Northern Europe's Odin move as well and then the world will have to change." Katerea answered with a complacent smile.
Vince's eyes narrowed dangerously after hearing the threat. (If something like that happens then Rossweisse and her grandmother will be in danger. It's pain in the ass but I can't let that happen. C'mon Yume, hurry up with the seal.)
Azazel glared at Katerea and spat out. "The more I hear the more I feel like vomiting at your goals. Valhalla!? The Earth Gods!? So you intend to snatch everything through Odin from the side. Rather than that, the person who steals my pleasure-can go and disappear."
"I-Impossible! Azazel, you!"
"Balance Break...!"
Everyone covered their eyes due to the entire vicinity being enveloped in a momentary flash. After the light faded, Azazel stood there wearing a gold plate armor. He unfolded his jet-black wings from his back, with a huge spear of light held in his hands. "I studied the "Vanishing Dragon" and other dragon-series Sacred Gears and produced this, my masterpiece artificial Sacred Gear. This is "Downfall Dragon Spear", in its pseudo-Balance Breaker state "Downfall Dragon Spear Armour"."
Vince sighed and turned to his bracelet. (Yume. Is the seal in my control yet?)
[No, not yet Vince. I'm almost finished though, please don't get into a fight until I'm finished.] Yume pleaded, sounding worried.
(I won't get into a fight. But I won't hesitate to defend myself. So Yume is that really a Balance Breaker? It looks kinda forced.) He asked raising an eyebrow.
[That's because it is. The artificial Sacred Gear is probably a disposable.] Yume stated.
"Hahaha! As expected of Azazel! You really are incredible!" Vali said laughing loudly.
(I'm glad I don't have to deal with this nut job in the future.) Vince thought breathing a sigh of relief.
Azazel turned to face Vali. "Vali, I'd also like to be your opponent, but... Well, please get along with the "Welsh Dragon" there's also Vince over there to, as you probably noticed by know now there are traces of Ddraig's aura on his Sacred Gear."
"But, fighting with Azazel seems fun." Vali replied looking a little bored.
"Hey Azazel, don't involve bring me into your crap. That train wreck over there is your mess to clean up, not mine." Vince pointed a thumb at Vali who gave him an an annoyed look.
He glared at Vince for a moment and turned to Azazel. "...It's based on a Dragon endowed with power, right?"
"Yeah, I just sealed the "Gigantis Dragon" Fafnir in this artificial Sacred Gear. I copied it from the Sacred Gears of the Two Heavenly Dragons -the "Welsh Dragon" and "Vanishing Dragon". I've yet to see if it succeeded or not." Azazel explained.
"A name I don't know or care too much about." Vince muttered.
Yume then cleared her throat. [He's one of the "Five Great Dragon-Kings". Remember from that mythology report you and Rena did for school that one time?]
"...Oh right. That thing. I didn't care about it then and I still don't." He replied in a non caring tone.
[You should be careful Vince. You have some of Ddraig's aura and Tiamat hates him a lot, you might see her or one of them soon.] She warned, sighing a little.
Vince's eye twitched violently before he turned to Issei and looked to where he usually summons his Boosted Gear. "Ddraig, you suck."
[Hey! That's not my fault you decided to absorb my power instead of releasing it!] Ddraig shouted sounding irritated.
[But at least you are more prepared Vince. And on a side note, it does explain why Micheal-san gave Issei-san Ascalon.] Yume answered sounding optimistic.
"Yeah, because that makes things so much better." He replied, snarking.
"Azazel! Even though you possess that much power, you!" Katerea said looking surprised.
"-Katerea, you yourself said that you made a pact with the "Uroboros Dragon"." Azazel stated.
"...The research of Sacred Gears shouldn't have developed to that extent..." She said frowning a little.
He heard this and spoke up. "From that look, it seems that the group that betrayed my organization took out some of the Sacred Gear research. However, it's pointless. Only I and Shemhaza know a portion close to the truth."
A bluish-black aura covered the Katerea's body as she clicked her tongue. "I am one who is descended from the great true Leviathan! Katerea Leviathan! I won't lose to an annoying fallen angel like you!"
Azazel calmly looked at her and beckoned Katerea. "Come."
"Don't look down on me!" Katerea shouted as she flew at him at high speeds.
Katerea dived at Azazel and he responded by stabbing her with the spear in his hand.
The ground was split even far behind Katerea. The ground had been gouged out from the aftermath of Azazel's attack.
Vince sweatdropped and turned to Vali. "And she was going to kill me and all three leaders?"
Vali however responded by shrugging. "I wasn't expecting her to succeed."
"I suppose that's a trait passed down to all descendants of the original Maou." Vince replied in a nonchalant tone.
Vali's eye twitched while Vince shrugged.
[Vince, it's ready.] Yume spoke, gaining Vince's attention.
He nodded and looked at the field. (Cutting it a little too close for my comfort Yume.)
"-It isn't over!" Katerea changed her arm into a tentacle and wrapped it around Azazel's left arm.
A suspicious pattern then appeared on Katerea's body, causing Vince's eye to narrow.
"That is a self-destruct-use technique formula!" Rias exclaimed looking surprised.
(Damn it. There has to be something to stop this. ...Wait, that's it. If I can reach her in time and use Black Water to erase the formula then I might have a chance. Black water is known to drown and consume. I think it could consume the formula too if I'm able to make direct contact.) Vince thought as he quickly surveyed the terrain around Azazel and Katerea.
"Azazel! Even if you try to kill me while in this state, it's useless! Now that you're connected with me, this strong magic will also activate and kill you too when I die!" Katerea shouted.
"So you'll deal great damage to me with self-sacrifice resolution. It's a tawdry way of thinking, but the result is an enormous reason." Azazel said calmly.
"Issei, Gasper, Vince! Get some distance! As it is, we'll get caught up in the blast!" Rias said quickly trying to get some distance.
"But, Buchou! What about Azazel?" Issei asked looking concerned.
"If he's the Governor of his organization, he'll deal with it somehow! However, we'll get caught up in it and die!" Rias exclaimed.
"Thanks, but no thanks. I have something I need to do." Vince quickly tried to run but was held back Rias who caught his arm in a tight grip. "Let go of me Rias!"
"No! I won't let go off you Vince, you'll die if you get any closer!" Rias shouted struggling to pull Vince back. "Issei help me take him back!"
"Yes Buchou!" Issei quickly grabbed Vince's other arm and dragged him back.
"Let go off me dammit!" Vince forcibly got of off Rias and Issei's grip by shoving them away with a water torrent that was shot out of his palms.
"Wah!" Gasper screamed as Rias clicked her tongue and quickly set up multiple defensive barriers.
"Sorry, but I'll be sealing that. It's annoying if time is stopped." Vali said as a magical pattern appeared on Gasper.
"But you know, if you're aware of its ability and activation conditions, that Sacred Gear really isn't that great a wonder. It's full of weak-points. There are many techniques like those that seal one's vision. Also, if his magic is drained, it changes into a double-edged sword that submits damage to allies as well." Vali stated.
Vince quickly ran as an omnious looking magic circle momentarily appeared in front of his bracelet as both of his arms turned into demonic looking claws. His claws, palm and forehead illuminated a blue aura, with a large blue crack in the middle of his forearm. The rest of his arms was covered in red organic flesh, with a spike protruding from his elbow. Purple strap-like flesh covered the top part of both of his arms.
"Restriction release!" A sudden burst of power surged through his body as Vince's speed increased greatly.
"C'mon now!" A large spectral arm extended from his devil bringer, grabbing Katerea and pulled himself towards her surprising both her and Azazel slightly. Upon getting within range Vince grabbed Katerea's head and forcibly slammed her into the ground. He flipped her over while coating his devil bringer in dark water. "You're not getting off that easily!"
Vince slammed his devil bringer into her stomach, the dark water quickly circled around the pattern around her body and devoured it, leaving no trace.
"Hahaha, well isn't that amusing. The Black Water Vince used on you consumed the formula itself for your self-sacrifice." Azazel said laughing heartily.
Katerea glared hatefully at Vince and turned her other arm into a tentacle, she violently wrapped the tentacle around his necked and started choking him. "You! I'll kill you for this!"
Vince gasped for air while Azazel frowned he tried to cut up the tentacle while Katerea turned to him. "That tentacle is a special-make that absorbed my life. It won't break."
Rias, Issei and Gasper looked mortified while Katerea smirked smugly at him. "Do you have any last words, boy?"
"...Shut it..." Vince tightly gripped the tentacle and discharged black lightning from his body, violently shocking both Azazel and Katerea.
Katerea screamed in pain as she tightened the grip around his neck while Azazel started to spasm from being repeatedly shocked by the Black Lighting, seeing no other choice he cut off his left arm with his spear in order to get away. "Sheesh, that was painful. Black Lightning is dangerous. It gives Baraqiel's holy lightning a run for it's money."
The tentacle around Vince's neck glowed a bluish-black aura similar to Katerea's aura as did his devil bringers. Not a moment later the tentacle disappeared from Vince's neck, and he got out of her grip. Vince gently rubbed his neck as he gasped for air.
Katerea screamed painfully as she saw the tentacle disappear. "You! What did you do to me!?"
Azazel saw this and looked at him, interested as did Vali. Issei on the other hand looked surprised while Gasper trembled with a scared expression and Rias looked curious at the change in him.
Vince pointed his katana at her, which radiated a strong amount of holy energy. "What's yours is mine."
Katerea glared spitefully at Vince, while he shrugged. "You can either get lost or continue fighting. It's your choice."
"Don't look down on me, you abomination! I'll kill you and destroy that damned Sacred Gear for even allowing you to turn into a devil!" Katerea quickly dived in at him at high speeds with a magic circle appearing in front of her.
"Nobody likes a sore loser." Vince channeled black lighting into his katana, momentarily turning the holy-sword into a blade of black lighting, he thrusted it straight into the magic barrier, piercing right through it.
He noticed Katerea closing in quickly and responded by grabbing her with a large spectral arm that extended from his devil bringer. Vince repeatedly slammed Katerea straight into in the ground, the force of the attack causing several shockwaves. He then followed up by tossing her into the air.
Katerea coughed up blood and quickly creating several magic circles around her. However to her slight surprise Vince vanished from her sight leaving only a small trail of black lightning sparks. He appeared in front of her and axe kicked her in the head slamming her into the ground with a trail of black sparks following.
"Aaargh!" Katerea lied on the ground breathing heavily one on knee with her body badly bruised and a small trail of blood coming from her mouth.
"You're finished!" Vince covered his katana in black lightning as he dived in from above. He slammed into Katerea's stomach with a downward thrust with his katana as a large amount of black lightning discharged from both himself and his weapon.
Katerea's body convulsed violently from the black lightning, her body then turned into dust and vanished into the sky.
(So even though I use black lightning Totsuka still has holy damaging properties. Not bad.) Vince thought as he dismissed the katana and returned to normal.
Azazel released his armor and clicked his tongue. "Tch. So this is the limit of an artificial Sacred Gear. There's still much room for improvement. ...As long as the core jewel is safe, I can remake it again. I'll have you keep me company a little while longer, "Gigantis Dragon-kun" Fafnir. But at least, I was able to see a few interesting things about Vince's abilities there's so much testing to be done."
He then lightly kissed a jewel-like object in his hand. A tickmark appeared on Vince as he tossed Azazel's arm back to him. "Hey, I'm not a freakin' science project."
"Sorry, sorry." He replied casually catching his arm.
Vali then descended from the night sky as Vince walked towards Issei, Gasper and Rias. "As expected of Azazel. However, your armor has been released. So your artificial Sacred Gears still require more study."
Azazel pointed at Vali. "Now then, Vali. What will you do? Shall I go at it again? Even if I have no armor and am one-handed, I can fight with you adequately."
He made a spear of light appear in his hand and pointed the blade at him. Vali glanced at Azazel who took a fighting stance, and then turned to Issei. "But don't you think that destiny is cruel?"
"On one hand, there is the strongest existence that one can think of with a Maou, a legendary dragon like me, and on the other hand, there is a mere human like you which possesses a legendary dragon as well. Say what you like, but I think that this accident of fate is cruel. Though we're rivals with the same dragon-type Sacred Gears, the gap between the two owners is too great." Vali admitted.
Issei looked confused and pointed towards his self, Vali nodded amusedly. "I investigated you a little. Your father is an ordinary office worker. You mother sometimes goes out to a part-time job as an ordinary full-time housewife. The blood relatives of both your parents are completely ordinary. There are also no ability-users or practitioners who possessed power among your ancestors. Of course, your ancestors had nothing to do with devils or angels either. You really are ordinary. Your friends aren't special either. You were a completely ordinary male high school student until you were reborn as a devil as well. -With the exception of Boosted Gear, you're nothing."
He then laughed with a look of pity. "Boring. When I learned about you, who was so excessively boring, I laughed out of disappointment. "Ah, so this is my rival. I give up." If your parents had at least been magicians, than maybe the story would change a bit. That's right! How about this kind of setting? You can become an avenger!"
Vince narrowed his eyes as he realized what Vali meant. He closely observed Vali's movements, not taking his eyes off of him. (This guy is willing to do anything to get in a good fight. I better keep my distance on him.)
"I'll kill your parents. If I do that, your personal history will become a little more interesting. If your parents are killed by a valuable existence like me, don't you think you'll be able to openly devote yourself to a solemn destiny? Yeah, I'll do that. After all, your parents will, from now on as well, live ordinarily, grow old ordinarily, and die ordinarily. The setting I spoke of is much more brilliant than such a boring life! Right?" Vali asked smirking.
"I'm going to kill you, you bastard." Issei said quietly as he realised killing intent.
"...Just as you said, my father is an ordinary office worker who works from morning to evening for our family. My mother is an ordinary housewife who makes delicious food for our family morning, noon and evening. However, they raised me up to this point. To me, they're the best parents." He stated, his eyes narrowing in anger.
"...Kill them? My father and mother? Why should they have to be mixed up in the situation of someone like you and be killed? As if I know anything about things like valuable or destiny! As if I'll let you do it!" Issei shouted in enraged.
Vali smiled smugly and then turned to Vince. "You know, I did some investigating about you as well. I was curious to see about you the wielder of two sacred gears, mainly the one that was banned by God himself. You were pretty disappointing yourself, only have a small amount of control from a pathetic sacred gear that should be easy to control without even awakening the other. Your family is also ordinary nothing really special, with the exception of your mother being able to summon a high-class devil with her desire. The only redeeming quality is that you knew people with some power like those shinobi or your half-elf, ex-girlfriend."
He calmly stayed silent while Vali continued. "Your background is really boring but you exceeded my expectations today with your fights. I think you need a little motivation. I couldn't help but noticed a certain woman in a coma, maybe if I killed her and your mother that would be enough motivation? Or maybe you would be even more motivated if I kill your "bodyguards" along with your fiancé here and then go to kill your mother in addition to that women in the coma? That women in the coma is your ex-girlfriend's sister right? Not only that I also noticed that she seems to be suffering. Multiple magic circles are engraved in her body along with a curse. Maybe it would be better if I put her out of her misery. It would be a mercy killing if she was killed by a valuable existence like me."
Rias stiffened while Issei glared hatefully. Vince's summoned his staff and turned a blank gaze at him, although the immense amount of anger Vince felt was reflected in his eyes, while the tattoo on his hand glowed eerily.
"Looking at your father's side was even more pathetic. Though, I did notice you seem to have a lot of similarities to him. I wonder how long it will be before you start to emulate him." Vali asked tauntingly.
The only response Vali got was a lightning bolt that was fired from Vince's staff, the bolt of lightning just passed the side of his face. A small trail of blood passed down his cheek, causing Vali to smirk. "Not bad. I almost didn't see that. It looks like killing them is the best option. I think I'll start with my rival first."
"I'll be damned if I let my parents be killed by the likes of yooooooooou!" Issei yelled enraged.
"Welsh Dragon Over Booster!"
Issei's sacred gear started to release a strong bright red aura. His body was then covered by a crimson red dragonic armor with green jewels on the armor.
A pained and furious expression appeared on Vince's face as sparks of electricity slowly discharged from his body in addition to him releasing small torrent of water from his body. He got on his knees and dropped his staff. "Uughh..."
The tattoo on his hand continued to eerily glow as the torrent of water and the sparks of electricity turned violent. Vince coughed into his hand and saw blood on it, his coughing started to gradually worsen as did the sparks of electricity discharging from his body as did the water around him started to red due to the blood he was coughing.
Azazel clicked his tongue from seeing the violent reaction from Vince's Sacred Gear, he quickly took out a bracelet from his pocket and tossed to Vince. "Vince don't be stubborn and use it!"
Vince slowly picked up the bracelet and hesitantly gazed at the object while continuing to cough up blood. He sighed bitterly and placed the bracelet on his wrist, the sparks of electricity and the torrent of water started to go away slowly, including the coughing. The eerily glow that once came from his sacred gear also stopped. (I'm not struggling to keep it under control anymore.)
Vince tried to get up but his body remained unresponsive. (Can't move that violent attack numbed my entire body. I'll need a little bit of time before I can get some movement back.)
"Look, Albion. Hyoudou Issei's power went up by an incomparable amount. The plain and simple reason called rage was the trigger, but this is... Hahahaha, what a dragon's surge and it looks like that weak Sacred Gear is slowly killing Reinhart Vince."
[Sacred Gears simply use strong emotions as food for power. Hyoudou Issei's rage is at its genuine limit, and is turned towards you. Only straightforward people can draw out the dragon's power. Reinhart Vince's Sacred Gear is stronger than the original ones in comparison but he's rejecting it's power along with his own emotions which in itself dangerous.] Albion explained, his voice speaking aloud.
"I see. So his greater affinity with his dragon is also explained through this reason and sooner or later Reinhart will die from his own power. How embarrassing, it's a sin that someone like him has two Sacred Gears. Just like how it's a sin for Hyoudou Issei's intelligence, it's insufficient to control Ddraig." Vali replied.
"Stop chattering and talking about things I don't understaaaaand!" Issei shouted angrily.
"Yes! That is exactly why you're called an idiot!" Vali exclaimed.
Spouting a red aura from the magic power on Issei's back, he charged in at Vali. In response he covered his face with his mask and easily dodged Issei's tackle.
Issei regained my balance in mid-air and dived again at Vali who easily dodged again. Issei then extended Ascalon from his gauntlet and unleashed and swung at Vali.
Vali merely dodged the swings from Ascalon with little to no problem.
[Vali, that sword carries dragon-slaying powers. If it hits just once, you'll undeniably receive great damage.] Albion warned.
"Is that so, Albion. But there's no meaning if it doesn't hit!" Vali replied smirking as he dodged another slash.
His eyes darted towards Issei and Vali both clad in their Balance Breakers who moved at speeds that all he saw was a red and white blur. (I can't believe that overgrown lizard figured out why I can't control my Sacred Gear. I don't want to... but I know I have to accept this Sacred Gear, if I do then maybe, just maybe...)
Suddenly the sacred gear on Vince's hand glowed brightly. A black colored magic circle appeared underneath Vince's body and was then entirely enveloped by a powerful light, releasing a enormous amount of power that caused even Vali and Issei to stop fighting and turn their attention to Vince.
The magic circle faded and as a result his entire appearance changed. His hair now colored white with his eyes being crimson red. He wore a metallic black leathered shirt that covered his torso and exposed his stomach, detached black sleeves with two leather belts holding it in place at the end of the sleeves were black fingerless gloves, a metallic sliver gear attached to his left arm, black pants and a black waist cape, with a pair black metallic-like boots. His stomach, face and shoulders all covered in a crimson marking that's the same color of his eyes.
Rias' eyes widened upon the transformation, she however noticed his well toned and muscular body and started staring at his body with a look of lust.
A frown appeared on his face as Vali smirked. Vince turned to Vali and soon his expression turned furious upon noticing that Vince just spitted on his armor.
[Vali, I believe he deserves to pay for this insult.] Albion spoke sounding livid.
"I couldn't agree with you more!" Vali roared charging towards Vince at extreme speeds.
Vali dived in and punched Vince in the face, however to his and everyone else's surprise he remained unfazed by the hit. He took this opportunity and grabbed Vali's armor clad arm, he rolled his eyes while simultaneously coating his hand in water. "Too weak. Issei throws a better punch than you."
Vince backhanded Vali with his hand coated in water, the blunt force of the attack sent him away a few feet away as a result. His eyes then darted towards the ground, he saw his staff and picked it up.
"Is that Vince's Balance Breaker?" Issei questioned looking puzzled.
[Yes. Vince has reached it. Though unlike that "Knight" this one is incomplete, but this Balance Breaker seems different from the others... it's more "flexible".] Ddraig stated sounding curious.

Author's Notes: Quite a few things happened in this chapter it was pretty fun writing it down and Vince finally unlocked his Balance Breaker.
I do want to confirm that after battling strong Devils in his Devil form Vince will be unlocking his Devil Trigger, though it will be a little later on.
The abilities of Vince's Balance Breaker will be explained in the next chapter along with what Ddraig meant about his Balance Breaker being flexible.
