Vali regained his footing and smirked. "So you can fight a bit. It's a shame you're not my rival. It's really embarrassing, he's too weak!"
"And I'm glad I don't. Hell, I rather have my ex-girlfriend be my rival, she likes to fight but at least she's easier to look at than you." Vince mocked.
Vali glared at Vince and charged in, cocking his fist back he punched him dead on, however Vince brought up his hand in defense and skidded back a few inches as a result.
Issei then charged in towards Vali only to be punched in the chest and be sent towards Vince's direction.
"Vince, Issei!" Rias looked worried as she saw Issei ready to collided with Vince, he quickly pressed his staff on the ground and a wall of water appeared in front of Issei, catching him from being sent any further.
"You alright?"
"Yeah, thanks Vince." Issei said, regaining his footing.
Vince noticed Issei wincing and a crack on his armor but said nothing.
[Divide!]
The voice from Vali's gauntlet echoed, reducing both Vince and Issei's power by half. Vince cringed a little while a voice echoed from Issei's gauntlet.
[Boost!]
Vince's eye twitched violently from due to his feeling exhausted. "Asshole."
He flicked his fingers and a suddenly a water lance shot out of Vali's armor, however the water lance was half of the size Vince intended it to be, making him frown slightly. The water lance tried to pierce through his armor but Vali grabbed it quickly.
[Divide!]
The was water lance dived in half, however Vince moved his fingers and the water quickly formed into multiple water lances that again tried to pierce his armor. Vali quickly got rid of multiple water lances by firing multiple magic bullets at the small water lances. "So that's the reason why you coated your hand in water. Not bad... but not good enough!"
Vali dashed towards him and aimed a fist at his chest, Vince however saw this and moved out of the way while engulfing his leg in lightning, he kicked Vali right in the stomach sending him a few feet away with a trail of sparks following.
Vali grunted in pain and responded by activating his gauntlet again.
[Divide!]
Vince flinched as he got on one knee breathing heavily.
[Transfer!]
The voice from Issei's gauntlet sounded off as a surge of power transferred to Vince. He got up easily and looked a little surprised.
[Partner, the power that was halved was restored by my power, but. The "Vanishing Dragon" 's other ability is troublesome.] Ddraig said to Issei.
"Does it have to do with him taking the other half of the power and adding it to his own?" Vince asked in a serious tone.
[Yeah. That guy halves his opponent's power and then adds the decreased portion of power to himself. In other words, you're power is taken away and turned into his own power. Stamina can't be recovered. It's only power to the end.] Ddraig said, making Vince scowl.
"T-Then, even if I reset from the minus, that guy will become plus!?" Issei asked sounding surprised.
[That's right. However, no matter how amazing the host is, he has a limit. Power that goes beyond his capacity is released from the wings of light on his back and he keeps maintaining his power limit without destroying his body.] Ddraig answered.
"In that case then disrupting his ability to maintain his power is the best way to deal with him. Mostly likely by destroying or ripping out those damned wings." Vince noted, looking at the wings on Vali's armor.
[It won't be so easy doing that Vince. Vali is stronger than both you and Issei-san. The best chance you two have is to work together.] Yume replied, Vince frowned while Issei looked surprised.
[I agree with Yume on this partner. You two will have better chance working together against him.] Ddraig said, agreeing with her.
"Great... First I'm forced to accept this Sacred Gear and now I have to work together? Give me a break..." Vince muttered to himself.
[Vince I know you don't like it but you have to work together with Issei. Please try for your friend's sake ok?] Yume asked gently.
"Dammit..." Vince started grumbled a bit and sighed before turning to Issei. "Let's take care of him, alright."
"Yeah!"
"Come on, come on! Don't waste my time talking and fight me!" Vali fired a seemingly endless number of magic bullets. Vince swatted away the magic bullets aimed towards him while he saw Issei getting bombared by the bullets, he sighed and raised his hand.
A blue water-like mirror appeared in front of Issei reflecting most of the magic bullets back at Vali. Issei nodded in thanks and quickly charged in, however Vali dodged most of the bullets while bombarding the mirror with more magic bullets, soon the mirror broke cracked completely and shattered.
"Your attacks are also dull. You just plunge in. It's meaningless in that case. What a waste of a treasure. Your use of your power is also unskillful." Vali spoke in a irritating tone before turning to Vince. "And you. You're only being defensive, that's not going to get you far."
"At this rate our showdown between us will be-"
Before Vali could finish talking, Issei made magic power suddenly spout from the jets on his back and plunged into the barrage of bullets. The magic bullets entirely struck various places on his body.
"Talk about reckless..." Vince muttered as he joined Issei and charged in himself, blocking and deflecting away the magic bullets, unbeknownst to him however a small crack appeared on his staff.
Vince quickly fired multiple lightning bolts from his hands to destroy the magic bullets that were headed towards Issei while simultaneously destroying the magic bullets aimed at him by launching multiple water waves from his staff.
Despite Vince destroying a number of the magic bullets, a couple of them hit Issei's armor, causing multiple cracks to appear on it. Issei clutched his left hand as he continued to dive in.
Vince noticed his body getting hit by multiple magic bullets but looked surprised as he felt only a small amount of pain. Taking advantage of the situation, he aimed his staff and ignored the magic bullets hitting him and focused purely on getting rid of the magic bullets in front of Issei by firing lightning blasts. (I only feel a small sting from his magic bullets. Just what can this Balance Breaker do?)
His eyes narrowed upon noticing several cuts and bruises on his body with a small trail of blood pouring out of the wound. (Ok, so I'm not completely immune to damage. But it looks like this Balance Breaker gives me a higher defense in comparison to Issei's armor. Kinda ironic since his whole body is in armor.)
"So both of you are doing the same? You two really know nothing of combat, to go as far as repeating the same tactic. Something like that-"
Vali deployed what seemed to be a shield of light in front of him and tried to defend, but Vince his eyes narrowed as he saw the shield, his eyes quickly examined the shield before he pointed his staff at it. "Issei now!"
"Ddraaaig! Transfer power to the stored Ascalon!" Issei exclaimed as he got within Vali's range.
[Understood!] Ddraig said.
[Transfer!]
A large surge of powed flowed into Issei's left arm as Vince's staff glowed a dangerous blue color.
"Byakurai!" A massive concentrated bolt of blue lightning shot out of Vince's staff and pierced right through Vali's shield, surprising him. Issei quickly dashed towards Vali and smashed his fist into his face.
Cracks spread from the edges of the mask on the Vali's helmet, and part of his face peeked through the crumbling portion.
Issei grasped my hand around the base of the his wings from the back of his armor. "Apparently the effect of your Sacred Gear comes from here. In that case!"
[Transfer!]
Issei transferred my power to Vali's armor which caused Vince to look at him slightly surprised. (Not a bad plan. He'll overload from the energy.)
"I'll raise the power you absorb and the power you emit all at once! To the extent that you can't deal with it!" Issei exclaimed as he continued to transfer more power to his armor.
"Kuh!"
Vince took a deep breath before disappeared from Vali's sights leaving a small trail of sparks behind him. Vince quickly appeared in front of Vali and smirked maliciously. "This'll hurt!"
He grabbed Vali's armored face and started discharging electricity from his entire body. Vali gritted his teeth in pain while Vince engulfed his hand in lightning and started to repeatedly punch Vali in the stomach, each fist discharging a violent amount of electricity. "Shatter!"
All of jewels from Vali's scale mail started to repeatedly glow white, red, blue and yellow in a abnormal pattern. Vali body also started to spasm due to his body being repeatedly bombarded with electricity.
[What a thing…! Vali, regain your posture at once!] Albion stated.
Vali reacted to Albion's voice and tried to defend by crossing his arms, but— Issei closed his left fist that was filled with Ascalon's power and easily destroyed his defenses including the gauntlets of both his arms, and thrust a blow to this abdomen while Vince stopped punching Vali, instead he coated his staff in lightning and repeatedly stabbed and slashed his armor with the sharp end of his staff, bits and pieces of Vali's armor were chipped off with each attack discharging electricity to his body as a result.
"Haaaaa!" Vince then twirled his staff, sparks of electricity discharged from the staff as a result and plunged straight into Vali's armor.
Vince ripped out a jewel from his armor and smacked him in the jaw with the blunt side of his staff, sending him to Issei, to which he quickly punched Vali in the face, sending a few feet away.
Blood flew out from Vali's mouth. He stepped back unsteadily while holding his abdomen and mouth. As blood poured down from the edge of his mouth, Vali smiled as if in joy. "Hahaha, amazing! My Sacred Gear was blown off! So you two can do it if you try! Just what I would expect, my rival and you Reinhart, you're very interesting! This is the result of you accepting your Sacred Gear."
"You talk too much." Vince picked up the jewel from the ground and placed it in his pocket.
The chipped off parts and cracks on Vali's armor then suddenly restored itself to back to the way it was, making Vince scowl.
[The battle doesn't end until the host is made incapable of fighting. It's no use at this rate. Both of you will make no progress. It's next to impossible for you to defeat him within the limited time of the control unit and Vince can only hold him off for so long. The best plan would be to run away, but neither of you can't do that, can you?] Ddraig asked.
"Kind of hard to retreat when there's a powerful barrier blocking the entire school." Vince replied dryly.
[Then what will you and Issei-san do? Both of you won't be able to last is this keep up.] Yume responded sadly.
"Hmm..." Vince eyes darted around the field looking around for a solution.
Issei looked down and noticed a jewel near his foot. "Hey, Ddraig. The Sacred Gear responds to feelings and evolves, right?"
[Yeah, that's right, but... Why?] Ddraig asked aloud.
He picked up the jewel near his foot an gazed it for a moment before nodding. "I'm transmitting my image to you. -Let's try it!"
(What is Issei planning?) Vince wondered, raising an eyebrow.
[…Partner, you've sent me quite a dangerous image. But, it's interesting! We may die, but do you have the resolve?] Ddraig questioned.
A look of determination appeared on his face. "I can't die. I haven't lost virginity yet. -If it hurts, I'll endure it! If I can just exceed this damn bastard in front of me with that!"
[Fuhahahahahahahaha! Nice resolve! In that case, I'll also resolve myself! This isn't a notification of my character, but- I am the Red Dragon Emperor that was called a mass of power! Let's show them that we'll live and exceed them together, Partner! No! Hyoudou Issei!] Ddraig answered also sounding determined.
"Yeah!"
"You know, for a moment you sounded like you were going to phrase it as Rias' virginity instead of our own." Vince accused.
After being reminded of the expression Vince made during the conference room Issei quickly shook his head. "N-N-No, I was thinking of uh... Irina's virginity!"
"What do you intend to do?" Vali asked looking interested and slightly annoyed.
"Vanishing Dragon! Albion! Vali! I'll be taking your power!"
Issei smashed the jewel that was on the back of his right hand into pieces, and drove into the other jewel into it.
"Is that normal?" Vince wondered raising an eyebrow.
A silver aura sprang forth from Issei's right hand and wrapped around the right side of his body. "Guh... Ah..."
"Ugaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Vince look at Issei in disbelief as he continued to scream in agonizing pain. "You idiot."
"...! You intend to take in my power?" Vali asked looking completely shocked.
[What a reckless thing to do. Ddraig, we are existences that oppose each other. That is nothing more than an act of self-destruction. -Do you intend to annihilate yourself by doing such a thing?] Albion spoke sounding indifferent.
Ddraig screamed in agonizing pain while also laughing as well. Yume then spoke up sounding concerned. [Vince, please do something. I don't think Issei-san and Ddraig-san will last every long.]
"Tch, fine. I have an idea." Vince casually walked to Issei while taking out a vial from his pocket. "Open wide Issei."
Vince coated his foot in lightning and stomped on Issei's foot causing him scream in even more pain while opening his mouth. He opened the cork from the vial and shoved the liquid down Issei's throat. "Shut up and swallow it."
Issei hacked and coughed before he cleared his throat as Ddraig spoke. [Vince that wasn't necessary to shove that vial down like that and Albion! You're as inflexible as always! Over countless eons, we've lodged in hosts and continued to fight each other! It's a repeat of the same thing each and every time!]
[That's right, Ddraig. That is our destiny. Even if our respective hosts are different, the way we fight is the same. You raise power, I steal power. The side that skilfully uses its Sacred Gear deals the finishing blow and it ends. This is how it always has been, and always will be.] Albion said.
"You know, you're pretty weak if you're not making an effort to fight your own destiny." Vince commented, much to Albion's ire.
Ddraig gave hearty laugh at Vince's words. [He has a point there Albion. Since meeting with this host- with Hyoudou Issei, I have learned one thing! -That anything is possible with determined stupidity!]
Vince sweatdropped and turned to the gear on his left arm. "...Yume?"
[I'm just as confused as you are Vince.] Yume spoke sounding perplexed.
"Respond to my feeliiiiiiings!"
[Vanishing Dragon Power is taken!] Ddraig announced proudly.
Issei's right hand was wrapped in a dazzling white light! A pure white aura surrounded his right arm!
A white gauntlet then appeared on his right arm. "...Hehehe, so this is "Dividing Gear"?"
"That looks really awkward with your red armor." Vince stated with Issei nodding in agreement.
[Impossible! Such a thing is impossible!] Albion said sounding completely shocked.
"No, it's only a little, but it's possible. My friend fused together holy and demonic, and produced things like holy demonic swords. It seems it was possible to achieve it because balance has collapsed from the non-existence of God. Well, if I borrow the words of the leader guys, it is a state where there are things like system errors or program bugs? I just utilised it a little." Issei explained to him.
[...So you mean you nudged the imperfections of the "Sacred Gear program" and achieved this? No, but such a thing is... Even if you think of that, to actually do it is just foolish. No one knows what will happen with the fusion of opposing powers. When that is something concerning dragons, you might die, you know? No, it would be natural for you to die.] Albion replied, with a tone of disbelief.
[The times are changing Albion-san. Not everything will remain the same.] Yume spoke seriously.
"It was reckless. -But, I survived." Issei said.
Ddraig sighed at his statement. [However, it certainly made your lifespan shorten. It's a lot even for devils that live almost endlessly. Thankfully Vince reacted quickly and gave you that vial, so the effects aren't as bad as I thought it would be.]
"I have no intention to live for ten thousand years. But, since there are a lot of things I want to do, I'd like to live for at least a thousand years, though." Issei answered with a small nod.
"But Asia and the others are devils. They'll live longer than you, how sad do you think she'll be to find out that she'll an even longer life compared to you." Vince asked in a serious tone.
Issei visibly flinched at the question, not realizing it. "B-But I wanted to protect Asia and my comrades."
Vali then clapped his hands, breaking the growing tension between the two. "Interesting. Then, I'll also get a bit serious! If I win, I'll halve all of you and everything that surrounds you with the Hakuryuukou's power!"
Vali floated into the air and opened his arms wide and his wings of light also grew huge.
"Halve? It's different with my power, but what do you mean by halving my surroundings?" Issei asked looking confused.
Vince sighed while Vali laughed at his question. "Ignorance is scary! It might not be bad for you to die without knowing!"
[Half Dimension!]
Surrounded by a white aura along with a voice from his jewel, Vali pointed his hand at the trees spread out below him.
The trees within the area in the old school building were compressed and halved. Vince noticed Issei still with a confused look and sighed. "He can literally make anything half. Think of it like this Issei, if he can halve our power then what's stopping him from halving other stuff? Just look at what happened to the trees."
Issei's eyes widened while Azazel spoke up. "That ability halves everything in his surroundings. In other words, if the Hakuryuukou became serious, then Rias Gremory's bust will also be halved."
"Are you talking to me or to Issei about that?" Vince asked, his eye twitching a little.
"Why you of course Vince. You are Rias Gremory's fiancé remember?" Azazel asked nonchantantly.
Issei slowly turned his head and gazed at Rias, she noticed his expression and shuddered a little. "Don't-"
"Don't fuck with meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Issei roared in anger.
Vince sighed and turned to Azazel. "You're an ass."
"You bastard! Buchoooooou's! So you intend to halve the size of my Buchou's breeeeeeeeeeasts!" Issei exclaimed, before he felt his body paralyzed.
Everyone turned to Vince who's palms discharged lightning. His right palm was on Issei's chest and then it quickly went towards his arms while his left palm went towards his legs in rapid succession. "Did you forget? You can double what he halves."
"I-I can't move! Let me move Vince!" Issei exclaimed as he tried to move.
"No. You need some time to rest after that stunt you pulled off. That vial is gonna go to waste if you get up and fight after doing something like that." Vince replied.
"Oi! I need to fight him too Vince, you can't-" Issei immediately stopped talking upon noticing the look he was giving him.
Vince then turned to Vali with his staff aimed. "Shut up and watch, you just might learn something."
[Hey partner, I suggest you listen to him. While that liquid from the vial he shoved down your throat is doing wonders your body still needs to adjust. Anyway, what was in that vial?] Ddraig asked in a curious tone.
"It's from a tree of life." Vince answered cryptically, he then looked down to his arm, to his surprise his second Sacred Gear was on his wrist on top of the detached sleeve.
(How the hell did I not notice that?) He thought looking slightly annoyed from missing that detail.
Vince then tapped Issei on the armor, undoing the paralysis. Issei's eyes widened as he whispered into his ear. "Issei, let's fight Vali one at a time and switch in when the other gets tired. I'll go first."
"Ok." Issei said nodding reluctantly.
A gentle breeze passed by Vince, his hair flowing as the clouds in the night sky were broken apart and a full moon appeared, he whispered in a low tone that was barely hearable. "Yume, get ready. I'm going to use that jewel, I'm pretty sure you already know what I have in mind, right?"
[Of course. I'm ready to go whenever you are Vince.] Yume whispered with a smile.
A smirk then appeared on Vali's face. "Well this is interesting. Do you really think you'll be a match for me with out the Sekiryuutei helping you? I could easily divide you in half and kill you."
"I'd love to see you try..." Vince took out a jewel from his pocket and grasped it. "Either way, we're done chatting. Bring it on, you prick... I hope you won't have to rely on your pet lizard too much to save your ass."
"You shouldn't look down on the Heavenly Dragons, and I'll show why!" Vali roared as he dived at extreme speeds, his fist right cocked back.
Vince smirked and dashed towards Vali, however at the last second he jumped over Vali's fist and jumped on his head, using it like a footstool. He landed on the ground with one knee and got up, dusting himself off. "I think that's enough fun for now."
Vali grunted in pain as he got up from the ground. "I will pay you back for tricking me."
Vince ignored him and broke the jewel in half, jamming the parts into the back of his black sleeveless gloves. "Yume, use all of Ddraig's aura in addition to the jewel."
[Yes!]
A bright white aura enveloped his entire body in addition to a crimson aura. The two auras flared up and violently clashed with each other.
[Is he insane!? He won't be able to survive the powers of the Sekiryuutei and the Hakuryuukou, especially since he's human!] Albion said looking at the scene in shock.
[I wouldn't be too sure about that Albion. Reinhart Vince's, Balance Breaker is more flexible than most Balance Breakers.] Ddraig stated.
"Interesting, let's see what happens." Vali said looking curious.
Vince started to violently cough up blood as the two powers continued to violently clash with each other he got on one knee and continued to cough violently. "Ugh... come on work..."
Suddenly Vince's hand glowed a small light, which caused his eyes to widen. An image of a young woman appeared behind Vince. She wrapped her arms around his body and smiled. "Don't give up Vince, I know you're stronger than that."
With a grim expression on his face, he slowly stood up and turned towards the image of the young woman with long, auburn hair tied into a ponytail with a red ribbon, pale skin, and brown eyes. Ignoring the looks of astonishment from the others that were closely watching. "...I know you're not real but... thanks, Chloe."
The young woman beamed at him and slowly faded away. Vince tried to make a smile, however he was only able to let out a faint smile, but behind his expression everyone could see how empty and regretful he was.
Vince brought his hands up and swung them to the side. "Hrooaah!"
A large wave of energy dispersed from his body, the wave of energy went through the old school building and sliced it in half as a result.
The two aura's eventually stopped and combined together, the aura then enveloped Vince's hands. It playfully swirled around his hands for a moment, the aura then went into the back of his black sleeveless gloves and formed into a red shell with a metallic casing around it, holding it place.
Vince stared at the red shells in the back of hands with a small smirk. "Heh, not bad."
[Impossible! First the Sekiryuutei and now a human can take the power of two Heavenly Dragons?!] Albion spoke sounding completely shocked.
[That's quite a surprise. I knew that Reinhart Vince's Balance Breaker was flexible, but to be able to merge our powers in harmony...] Ddraig said, sounding surprised.
A surprised look appeared on Vali's face before he started smirking. "Today is full of surprises. Who would have thought that it was possible to harmonize the power of the Hakuryuukou and the Sekiryuutei, by a human no less. But, it's interesting!"
Vince took a deep breath and closed his eyes. A trail of blood came down from his lips, spitting out the blood. He opened his eyes and glanced at his body that was shaking slightly. (Making both of the powers harmonize was very difficult. I had to strain my body and use a lot of my stamina in order to make it work, even with Chloe's power helping me. To think that her power would help me in a situtation like this...)
He looked at the red shell on the back of his hands and extended both of his hands. "Unlocking limiter Life Engine, activate!"
"Life Engine?" Vali asked raising an eyebrow.
The two red shells on the back of his hands suddenly opened, one shell glowing a crimson color while the other glowed a pure white color. Vince brought his hands up and the force of the two energies caused a strong gust of wind around him. An unusual looking rune briefly appeared in front him before it disappeared along with the gust of wind. To the surprise of almost everyone, both of Vince's eyes glowed eerily.
Vali then smirked a little. "Interesting. Let's see what happens when I divide you in half."
[Divide!]
Everyone's eyes widened when nothing happened to Vince, he however responded by blasting Vali with lightning bolt, to which he narrowly avoided it. "How? I can't divide you in half!"
"Too bad for you." Vince jumped high into the air, while coating his staff in water. Upon getting within range. He slammed Vali into the ground by smacking his helmet with staff coated in water, the blunt force of attack created a crater in the ground. Not being finished yet, Vince brought his staff downwards and tossed it into the ground where Vali was near at. Upon impact the staff discharged an enormous amount of lightning, shocking him.
"Guha!" Vali got up with a portion of his helmet broken, the bits and pieces of it falling off and a trail of blood coming down from his mouth. "If I can't divide your body in half, then I'll halve your power instead."
[Divide!]
Vince landed on ground wincing a little but got up, look relatively fine.
[Vali be careful, it seems that he's developed a strong resistance to being divided.] Albion stated, sounding a little surprised.
"It's fine, Albion."
[Divide!]
Vince blinked twice before shrugging it off and plunged his staff into the ground. A large tidal wave appeared over Vali, to which he responded by quickly flying away a moment before the tidal wave swamped the field. He pointed his staff into the air and the water on the ground quickly lashed out and headed towards Vali.
[Divide!]
The water was halved, however it quickly reformed and headed towards him, again. Vali frowned a little and pointed a finger at Vince.
[Divide!]
Vince stood on top of the water and constantly fired water curved blades at Vali, using the large tidal wave as a source.
"Interesting. I divided his power multiple times but I only get a small amount of what I intended to get." Vali amused as he gracefully dodged the water curved blades.
[I would assume that he's using an alternate source of energy to make up for the loss. But he would still feel the effect of losing his energy, he continues to attack as if he isn't even affected. It must have to do with that "Life Engine".] Albion stated.
A stray water blade grazed Vali's armor, causing a small section of it to crack. "That seems to be the case."
Vali dived in and charged at Vince at an extreme speed he then punched him, however Vince brought up his staff at the last moment.
Vince winced and skidded back a few feet as a result of the attack. His eyes widened when he saw multiple cracks appeared on the staff, a moment later it snapped it half.
The staff fell to the floor and Vince stood eerily silent, he wordlessly picked up the staff and examined it. An amused look then appeared on Vali's face. "That weapon is completely broken, it can't be repaired again."
Vince took the black jewel that was on the staff and pocketed away. Suddenly an enraged expression appeared on his face. "You... It was my memento of her! I'll rip your goddamn heart out! You worthless pile of garbage!"
Both Issei's and Rias' eyes widened, never seeing Vince this enraged before while Azazel let out a low whistle. "That kid really has one nasty temper."
A smile that appeared on Vali's face. "If I knew that was going to provoke your anger, I would have done that sooner. But I will make you pay for calling me garbage!"
Vince grabbed the broken parts of his staff and leapt towards Vali with a furious look. Vali created a shield of light, however it was easily broken through a fist by Vince that was encased in water.
"Guaagh!"
"Vali, you bastard!" He slammed his foot into Vali's face, smashing him into the ground. Vali got up from the ground and looked up but didn't find any trace of him, before appearing right in front of him.
"Fast! His attack is more fierce too!" Vali said sounding surprised.
"Rrrrraaaaaagh!" Vince violently lunged at Vali, trying to impale him with the broken pieces of his staff that were engulfed by an enormous amount of lightning.
Vali grabbed the staff at the last second, mere inches away from his heart. He then screamed in pain from being violently shocked by the lightning that was violently discharging from both Vince's body and his broken staff.
[Vali, get some distance and regain your composure!] Albion shouted.
Upon hearing his advice, he dropped his grip on the weapon and jumped away, narrowly avoiding being impaled.
[Vince, now's your chance!] Yume exclaimed.
Vince disappeared, leaving a small trail of sparks and appeared behind Vali. He brought up his broken staff and thrusted the parts into his armor. "Release!"
A large pulse of lightning discharged from the broken staff upon contact, it pierced right through his armor. Not being finished Vince tightly gripped the broken staff parts and savagely ripped a portion of Vali's armor in half, leaving a portion of his back completely exposed. He saw then noticed a jewel in middle of Vali's back and ripped out with his hands, before sending him away with a fierce water enhanced kick to the stomach. "Go to hell, Vali!"
Vali skidded back a few feet, he got up staggering a little while coughing blood with a large crack on the part of his armor that was kicked. "Interesting! To think you were able to damage me this much..."
Vince breathed heavily, his face drenched in sweat. "Tch. To think that I would lose control of my emotions me... ME of all people."
"Issei, switch in." He tiredly walked towards Issei and whispered in his ear. "Give me a signal when you're ready and we'll attack him together."
Issei nodded and charged in, a fierce crimson aura that wrapped his entire body. "I won't forgive you! You're the one person I absolutely won't forgive! I'll knock you down! I'll destroy you! Valiiiiiiiii!"
Vince blinked as he saw the ground Issei was gouged out and formed into a crater. "Damn. I didn't think he'd still be this pissed."
He sat down on the ground as Azazel and smirked. "You should have seen him after you left. He kept boosting his power while you kept fighting Vali, waiting for your call to head in and attack."
Vince nodded and looked at the red shells on the back of his hands. (I can't fight at the moment. But that doesn't mean it'll stop me from doing something.)
Azazel raised an eyebrow upon seeing him close his eyes. Vince immediately opened his eyes and got up from the ground staggering a little. "Life Engine, increase output."
A rune appeared underneath Vince and violently spun as it expanded in size, a moment later it disappeared.
"What exactly does the Life Engine do?" Azazel questioned.
"I'll explain what it does if I have your assistance later on. There's a problem I have that needs to be dealt with right after the treaty." Vince replied shrugging a little.
Azazel sighed but nodded. "Alright fine, as long as it isn't anything that would hurt the treaty."
"My problem has nothing to do with the treaty." He said, sitting down on the ground.
"So what does the Life Engine do?" Azazel asked raising an eyebrow.
Rias heard this and turned towards the two, looking curious. Vince noticed this and sighed. "The Life Engine creates a boundary field that gives my body a strong resistance from being altered by anything that's considered a "distortion" both from in and out of the field. It also takes energy from anyone I consider an enemy from within the boundary field and in addition also draws in any other sources of energy, because of that my power is also doubled. At the moment this entire field is completely saturated with energy because of the previous battles."
Rias' eyes widened greatly while Azazel let out a low whistle. "It has traits of both Ddraig and Albion. That's a pretty dangerous ability to think up of with your desire."
"It seems that the Life Engine is more potent than I thought." Vince then pointed to Vali's wings, which started to dim. (I'll also have to be careful with it. If I draw in too much energy my body will break down, even with those shells I have in the back of my hand, acting as a container.)
"Finally! This is for Koneko-chan's breasts that would disappear if they were halveeeeeeeed!" Issei shouted as he tackled Vali at an extreme speed.
Vali slammed into the ground vomited blood. "Guah!"
(I'm sure Koneko would have a field day with Issei if she heard this.) Vince thought blinking a little.
"Koneko-chan! She worries about her small breasts, you know!? You'll halve it!? I won't allow it! Don't take away anymore breasts from that child! Can you understand that pain!? You damn halving maniac!" Issei exclaimed.
"...Yume?"
[I feel sorry for Ddraig-san...] Yume said sounding embarrassed.
"Vince now!" Issei shouted.
"So much for a break..." Vince coated his legs in lightning and dashed towards Vali at an incredible speed.
He kicked him in the stomach, Vali however quickly maneuvered to the left but was blindsided by Issei punching him in the back. Vince took the opportunity and summoned the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi in a small light, he dashed towards him and did a rising upward slash.
Vali quickly created a shield of light but the blade easily sliced through it and followed up with a horizontal slash, slicing off a portion of his armor while discharging lightning from the katana, shocking him while Issei moved to the front.
He screamed in pain as he coughed up blood, Issei then moved in as Vince backed off and smashed his fist into his face, sending him into the ground.
Vali got up and a seemingly happy smile appeared on his face. "Interesting. Truly interesting."
Vince said nothing but adjusted his katana, ready to strike.
[Vali, I finished analyzing his halving power and along with that other power. When compared with the control method of your power, you can handle it. That Life Engine on the other hand is an issue, it continues to draw in energy at a rapid rate from every direction, while taking yours.]
"I see. I'm not afraid of them with this, that Life Engine will have to be dealt with though." Vali mused with a smile.
"Albion, do you think they're worthy enough to show the Hakuryuukou's "Juggernaut Drive" if it's the current Hyoudou Issei and Reinhart Vince?" Vali asked, causing Vince to raise an eyebrow.
[Vali, it's not a good choice in this place. If you recklessly enter "Juggernaut Drive", Ddraig's curse may be removed.] Albion warned.
"It'll all work out, Albion. "I, who am about to awaken, in supreme justice-"
[Don't act rashly, Vali! Is it your desire to be at the mercy of my power!?] Albion shouted angrily.
Vali ignored Albion's warning and continued to chanting until Vince disappeared from his sights with a small trail of sparks following. He then appeared behind Vali and jabbed the hilt of his katana into Vali's spine. "I don't know what's going on. But what makes you think I'll let you finish?"
Vali stopped chanting and vomited blood, Vince then stomped his foot into the ground and a water pillar shot out of the ground capturing Vali, after quickly noticing him trying to get some distance. Vince motioned his hands for the water to toss Vali at his direction. Upon getting within range Vali gave Vince a fierce punch to his face.
"This'll hurt!" Despite feeling a large amount of pain in his nose, Vince smirked and responded by brutally smashing his forehead into Vali's.
A loud cracking sound echoed throughout the school grounds as Vali and Vince both flinched in pain from the headbutt while everyone else who saw this winced. Despite both his nose and his forehead bleeding profusely, Vince smacked Vali's face with the blunt of his holy-sword, causing him to scream in pain. Seeing an opportunity Vince grabbed Vali's armored arm and yanked him by the arms, violently swung him around. "Issei now!"
Using the momentum from swinging him around Vince tossed Vali towards Issei. He tried to move out of the way but Vince kept him in place by restraining his movements with a water torrent he released from his left hand. "Stay still!"
"Take this Vali!" Issei cocked his fist back and delivered a brutal punch to Vali's face, a loud crunching sound echoed through the field as he fell into the ground.
"Guah!" Vali vomited more blood and got up staggering, with his forehead bruised badly and his nose bleeding.
Suddenly a single silhouette swooped down from the night sky, with the moon in view. The silhouette swiftly came into the space between Vali, Issei and Vince. Upon closer examination the silhouette turned out to be a man wearing armor. "Vali, I've come for you."
(I feel really tired now... I'm running low on stamina, better save as much as I can.) Vince winced a little and looked at his hair, to his surprise his white hair started fading along with the rest of his outfit. "Tch. Life Engine, disconnect."
The two red shells on the back of Vince's hands suddenly closed and his hair stopped changing color between white and black. His hair now retaining it's white color and along with his eyes which no longer glowed.
Vali stood up while wiping away the blood from his mouth. "So it's Bikou. What have you come for?"
"Isn't that cruel? I made a long journey and came all the way to this island country because my partner is in a pinch, you know? The other guys were making a fuss at headquarters, you know? Because we're joining together to fight the northern country gods, you were supposed to flee and return right away if the mission failed, right? Katerea failed to assassinate Michael, Azazel, and Lucifer, right? In that case, your observation role is also over. Come back with me." Bikou explained.
"...I see, so it's already time." Vali mused.
(Damn. It looks like I'll really have to warn Rossweisse as soon as this ends.) Vince thought, frowning a little.
"Who are you?" Issei asked pointing at Bikou.
"-He's the descendent of the Victorious Fighting Buddha." Azazel answered.
"Let me say it with a name that you can grasp. He's Son Goku. The famous damn monkey in the Journey to the West." He explained to him.
"S-S-Son, Gokuuuu!?" Issei stuttered, completely shocked.
Vince shrugged in response. "Never heard of him."
"Wait really?" Azazel shook his head in disbelief. "Just what do they teach you school? Anyway to say it correctly, he is a monkey youkai that has inherited Son Goku's power. However, it really is the end of the world if even you have joined the "Khaos Brigade". No, you're the Son Goku to the "Vanishing Dragon". You're also well-matched."
Vince dismissed the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi and crossed his arms. (Which means that fighting him, in addition to Vali is pretty much next to impossible at the moment both of us are exhausted.)
"I'm different from the first-generation that became a Buddha. I just live doing as I like. My name is Bikou. Nice to meet you, Sekiryuutei, you too uh..." He trailed off while Vince sighed.
"Vince Reinhart."
"Right. Nice to meet you, Vince." He said casually greeting him.
Bikou spun around a cane that had appeared in his hand, and then pierced it into the ground.
Instantly, a dark-like substance spread over the ground. It seized Vali and Bikou, the two started to sink into it.
"Wait! As if I'll let you escape!" Issei shouted.
However to his surprise his armor and Sacred Gear vanished, and the bracelet on Issei crumbled into dust.
"Azazel! Don't you have more of those rings!? I can't let him escape!" Issei exclaimed.
"It takes a tremendous amount of time to purify those things. I can't mass-produce them. And even if I could, the possibility of attaining complete Balance Breaker fades if used too much. -To the end, it's an emergency-use measure." Azazel explained sighing.
"Right now is for emergency-use! I was made a fool of by him! As if I'll let him get away!" Issei then turned to Vince with a look of urgency. "Quick, give me yours Vince!"
"Hell no. Have you seen how exhausted we are?" Vince retorted as Issei got on one knee and gasped for air.
"If you explosively emit that much power in an instant, your stamina will become empty. As you are now, what you are able to store is limited and long battles are impossible. Vince may have restored your stamina to last longer but that won't help out in the long run." Azazel explained.
"That vial I used is also very hard to make and are to be used only for an emergency." Vince added.
"I as the Hakuryuukou was occupied by the blood relative of the old Maou. The enemy isn't just angels, fallen angels, and devils. Eventually we'll fight again, but at that time it will be even more intense. I'm very pleased and surprised I have another rival to fight against. We'll each get stronger-"
Vali stopped in mid-sentence and vanished into the darkness along with Bikou.
"Well isn't that surprising. I never thought Vali would consider you a rival now Vince." Azazel stated, looking at him.
Vince rubbed his forehead in stress. "I'm not looking forward to fighting him again."

Everyone set foot on the school grounds, the armies of the three factions had come in and carried out the processing after the battle. They carried away the corpses of the dead magicians, and looked to be cleaning up after the battle, each corpse either electrocuted beyond recognition, maimed or covered in a small pool of their own blood.
Vince looked at the field and winced. "I guess Rena and I should be more careful on how we deal with enemies."
"You two sure did a number and that's not counting your two kunoichi. They did a number on on those Magicians, too." Azazel commented as he walked towards the center of the school grounds with Issei, Gasper and Rias following, the three disturbed at the brutality.
Vince noticed the others looking the other way and walked towards the other direction while whispering. "Yume, you there?"
[Mmhmm, is there something wrong Vince?] Yume asked in a curious tone.
"Since we're alone can you tell me more about my Balance Breaker? I'm still trying to figure out what exactly it does. The only thing I know is that my control over water and lightning are improved greatly." Vince stated.
[No problem. Your Balance Breaker, is like what Ddraig said. It's flexible.] She said smiling.
"...Meaning?"
[The way your Balance Breaker is can be customized to your liking. You can set the parameters of how it is. For example, you can make it so that you devote everything into speed, power or defense or you could make it well balanced, the option is your choice.] Yume explained in a cheerful tone.
"...Damn. And I can change the way my Balance Breaker is set up whenever I feel like it?" Vince asked looking a bit surprised.
[If you're in your Balance Breaker you can't, aside from that then yes.] She confirmed.
He nodded in response. "I like this Balance Breaker already."
[That's good to know. But you can't fully customize it yet.] Yume informed, sighing a little.
"Why?"
[When you forced your feelings to accept your Sacred Gear, the Balance Breaker was corrupted in the process since they were not genuine.] She explained sadly.
"Crap. So is there anyway to fix?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
[There is. You just have to truly accept it. But at the moment that's impossible, right?] Yume questioned.
"...Yeah." Vince rubbed his temples and sighed. "So how is this version different from the real thing and will the Life Engine remain the same?"
[Well for one, you can customize it however you want it and two it's not incomplete like this one. I'm not to sure about the Life Engine myself, it's a 50-50 chance.] She explained.
"Right. So this complete Balance Breaker is overall better while this one is the weaker, more corrupt version. Does the Balance Breaker have a name?" Vince questioned.
[It does. But I think you already know the name, don't you?] Yume asked smiling a little.
Vince gazed at his fingerless black gloves for a moment. "...Phantasma Drive."
"Thanks Yume." He then shook his head and turned his head towards the full moon in the night sky while walking. (I should head back before the others starts to look for me.)
[Vince if you don't mind me asking, why did you lose control of you emotions like that, when Vali-san broke your staff?] Yume questioned in a concerned tone.
"...Chloe made that for me, a day before the entire incident happened and she slipped into a coma. I considered that a memento of her. She's pretty smart and likes to make weapons like her mother, though Chloe prefers to make weapons that are based off of the ones from anime, manga or games. ...Well the ones that are practical to use at least." Vince answered, taking out a small black jewel from his pocket.
He gazed at the small jewel for a moment before pocketing it. "At least I have something of hers intact."
[Vince...]
"I wouldn't worry to much about it, Yume. 'Sides, I don't have time to mope around, I have more important things to take care of. ...I already know why I saw an image of Chloe showed up, I'll explain it later Yume." He placed his hands in his pockets and quickly joined Azazel, Rias, Issei and Gasper.
Sirzechs caught sight of the five, he raised his hands. "So you were safe. Thank goodness. -Azazel, what happened to that arm and Vince-kun why do you look so different and you're injuries?"
Seeing Azazel with one arm, Sirzechs gestured his hand at Asia. Asia responded to that and applied her recovery Sacred Gear on the opening of Azazel's wound. Pale green light healed the wound on Azazel's arm, he then casually held on to his other arm.
"I was caught by Katerea and nearly self-destructed along with her, Vince stopped her from doing that but was caught by her and released a dangerous amount of Black Lightning. I had no choice but to cut it off." Azazel explained as Asia quickly went to Vince and started healing him.
"Vince-san, what happened to you?" Asia asked looking shocked at both his injuries and his appearance.
"This-" Vince pointed towards his entire body. "Is from my Balance Breaker. As for the injuries, I headbutted Vali after he punched me."
"I see that's great and also slightly rather unusual. Moving on, her matter was a problem on the devil's side. About that wound-" Sirzechs trailed off.
Azazel held him back with his hand and stopped him from talking. "I also... caused trouble with Vali."
"...So he betrayed you."
After finished being healed, Vince thanked Asia, she smiled and he walked away. After feeling someone tap his shoulder, Vince turned around to see Rena, Kasumi and Akari behind him.
"...Vince is that you?" Kasumi asked looking surprised.
"Yeah. I got my Balance Breaker and now I look like... this." Vince said gesturing towards himself.
Akari smiled in response. "You look handsome."
Vince scratched his cheek with a finger, looking slightly embarrassed while Rena blushed lightly. "That's rare of you to do that. You do look hot though."
A small blush appeared on his face and he looked away, looking slightly embarrassed. "Tch."
The four then turned around as they saw Micheal walking in between Sirzechs and Azazel. "Now then, I'm returning to heaven at once and will work on a plan for the matter of peace and countermeasures against the "Khaos Brigade"."
"I'm sorry, I had arranged things this time. We who set up the place of this conference feel ashamed." Sirzechs said sighing.
"Sirzechs, please don't feel so responsible. As for me, I'm just glad that the three great powers are walking on the path to peace together, you know? With this, useless quarrels should also decrease." Micheal stated.
"Well, subordinates who don't agree with that will also leave." Azazel said sarcastically.
"That is inevitable. Because we've been hating each other for a long time. However, it should change even a little from now on. -The problem is the "Khaos Brigade" that we can't assume is good." Micheal said sighing a little.
"Then let's cooperate and discuss from now on regarding that matter." Sirzechs suggested.
Azazel and Michael nodded at his idea. "Then, I'll return to heaven at once. I'll come back immediately, so we'll conclude the formal peace agreement at that time."
"U-Umm. Michael-san!" Issei said gaining his attention.
"What is it, Sekiryuutei boy?" Micheal said turning to him.
"There's just one thing I'd like to ask of you." He replied.
Micheal nodded. "Very well, there isn't time, but I'll hear this one thing."
"It's because of the "system" that Asia and Xenovia receive damage when they pray to God, right?" Issei questioned.
"Yes. If Devils or Fallen Angels pray to God, the "system" moves and decides to give them light damage. Because this was included in the system with or without God's presence, it moves naturally. What about it?" Micheal asked curiously.
"Can't you make it so that there is no damage when only Asia and Xenovia are praying?" Issei asked looking at him.
Micheal looked surprised as the same for Asia and Xenovia while Rena and Kasumi smiled.
(I guess there's more to him then I thought.) Vince thought, also looking surprised.
Michael gave a small laugh and nodded in agreement. "I understand. If it's only two people, I may be able to do something about it. The two of them are already devils and can't get near church headquarters. Asia, Xenovia, let me ask you. You know God is absent, right? Even so, will you still pray?"
"Yes, I want to pray even if there is no Lord." Xenovia answered nodding.
"Me too. I'll give thanks to the Lord- to Michael-sama." Asia added, also nodding.
Michael smiled at both of their answers. "Very well. I'll do that right away when I return to headquarters. Fufufu, it should be fine if there are only two devils who don't receive damage when praying. How interesting."
"With this, you can pray to God without problems, Asia! ...Though he doesn't exist." Issei said smiling sheepishly.
Asia became teary-eyed and embraced him. "Issei-san!"
"Issei, thank you." Xenovia stated, her voice filled with gratitude.
Issei then gently stroked the heads of both Asia and Xenovia. "It's fine. You can pray without restraint from now on."
Xenovia blushed in response while Kasumi and Akari smiled at the scene.
"Michael-sama, about the aforementioned matter, please do as you said." Kiba asked, looking at him.
"Following your advice, I swear on the Holy Demonic Sword you gave us that I will not allow Holy Sword research to produce any more victims. It was a huge error for us to flatly reject important believers to this extent." Micheal said nodding.
"That's great! Kiba!" Issei exclaimed.
"Yeah, thank you, Issei-kun." Kiba replied thankfully.
Micheal then turned to Vince and Rena. "About the CHSP. I'm terribly sorry for what happened."
Vince looked away with a cold and slightly pained expression while Rena smiled softly. "It's okay Micheal-san. At the moment, we're making good progress into finding a cure."
"I see. That's a relief." Micheal smiled in response. "Please let me know if there's anything I can do. I will try to help if it's within my power."
"Thank you."
"The CHSP... Isn't that the incident that happened two years ago that tried to recreate the Holy Sword Project but on a larger scale?" Azazel asked raising an eyebrow.
"You know about that as well Azazel..." Micheal said sighing.
"Yeah, something like that is hard not to keep under wraps. The only thing I know about it is that a young woman was placed in a coma as a result of the aftermath." Azazel replied, he then turned towards Vince. "And I guess that's the project you want my help on, right?"
"...Yeah..."
"So what exactly happened to her?" He questioned.
"That's not my place to say." Vince then gestured towards Rena.
She sighed and turned to Vince. "You were there too, you know."
"Rena-san. You said Chloe-san is your sister, correct? What happened to her?" Kiba asked in a polite tone.
"She's in a coma. My father placed her in a coma due to a toxin in her brain, in addition to that my sister has a curse that's closely linked to the toxin. The person who did that was responsible for the entire project." Rena explained sadly.
Kiba's eyes widened as did the others with the exception of Vince and Micheal. She turned towards Vince and noticed his slightly melancholic expression. "That's all I have to say on the subject. I don't want to say anymore at the moment."
After a few moments of awkward silence Azazel then cleared his throat and talked to Micheal, trying to eliminate the awkward silence. "Michael, I'll leave the explaining to the Valhalla guys to you. Since it would be problematic for me to move imprudently. Afterwards, you'll have to convey what happened today to Mt. Sumeru as well."
Vince then cleared his throat gaining their attention. "Actually, I'll be taking care of that. I know some people in Valhalla, they'll be very interested to hear about this."
"Really?" Micheal looked surprised. "And who might they be?"
"A bodyguard of Odin's and her grandmother. Though, I'll need a report of what happened today in order to present her evidence about the Khaos Brigade." Vince replied, surprising everyone with the exception of Rena.
"Hey Micheal, I just finished my end with Gabriel." Shura said walking in with her. She noticed Vince and blinked. "Sheesh, what happened to you Vince? I didn't think ya dyed your hair white or wear that."
"Balance Breaker." Vince replied dryly.
Gabriel smiled and hugged Vince, much to the ire of Rena, Rias, Kasumi and Akari. "Either way, I'm glad you're safe Vince."
"Thanks." Vince patted her on the back while Azazel's eye slightly twitched.
The two let parted after a moment and not a moment too soon Akeno walked towards the school ground with Serafall in tow. "Buchou, I finished helping out Serafall-sama."
"Thank you Akeno." Rias said in a slightly strained tone.
Akeno then noticed Vince and licked her lips with a small blush on her face. "This is a nice surprise."
Rias, Rena, Kasumi and Akari all glared at Akeno while smiled and walked closer to Vince.
He unconsciously took a step back from Akeno as a result, she then licked her lips. "You look very attractive in that outfit Vince-kun. It makes me want to bully you."
"I want an adult." He said dryly.
"I'm an adult!" Serafall stated with a grin.
"...Ok." Vince then took a few more steps away from Akeno.
Everyone's eyes widened as Vince continued. "So not only do I need an adult, I need a restraining order too."
Serafall facefaulted while Azazel and Sirzechs laughed. She then got up and smiled. "I'm a Maou so a restraining order wouldn't really "work"."
Vince then walked towards Gabriel who looked confused but smiled, which caused Serafall's eye to twitch. "Gabriel can we get some coffee later on?"
"Of course, I would be delighted to Vince." Gabriel said with a graceful smile.
Azazel's jaw dropped and Shura started laughing. Vince turned around and promptly saw Rias, Akeno, Rena, Kasumi, Akari and Serafall releasing killing intent, all aimed towards him.
Suddenly bracelet on Vince's wrist broke and his hair along with his eyes turned back into their respective black and brown colors. Right afterwards the outfit Vince wore shattered, he now wore his school outfit, which surprisingly enough remained intact.
"...Damn." He shook his head and tried walking, only for him to trip and fall on top of Akeno, who looked surprised.
The two fell to the ground and everyone's eyes widened when their lips touched, and his hands were on her breasts. Akeno blushed as did Vince, she smiled and deepened the kiss for a few moments before pulling away and getting up from the ground, while helping Vince up.
Akeno giggled and turned to Rias, Rena, Kasumi and Akari, who each gave her a glare . "Ara, it looks like I'm ahead."
"Vince you lucky bastard!" Issei shouted covering his nose as it dripped a small amount of blood.
"Not as ahead as Yasaka." Vince muttered, everyone else however heard him.
Everyone's attention turned to Vince with Rias, Akeno, Rena, Kasumi, Akari glaring at him. After a moment Akeno spoke up with her hand covered in lightning. "And just who is Yasaka, Vince-kun?"
"...Fuck."

A young woman with long, straight silver hair and light blue eyes, that was sitting on a chair suddenly stopped writing. A chill went down her spine and the pen she was writing with snapped in half, the ink fell out staining a paper she was writing on. The young woman started to radiate killing intent. "...Why do I have the feeling that I need to have a "talk" with Vince?"
An elderly woman wearing a deep blue colored robe, walked into the room and gained an amused smile upon noticing her expression. "Are you thinking about your future boyfriend, Rose?"
Rossweisse picked up another pen and turned around with an embarrassed look. "I-It's not like that Granny."
"Ok. Though, if I recall correctly Rena is with Vince right now, and he's probably next to his rumored fiancé." The elder womanly said, smiling a little.
"That's nice. It's good to see that Rena is with Vince. Someone has to keep an eye on him, trouble usually follows him." Rossweisse replied with a strained smile.
"And I also called Elena, it looks like at the moment Vince is currently engaged, but he isn't to thrilled about that. But he is slowly starting to like her from what she told me." She stated.
The pen held in Rossweisse's hand snapped in half again, and the ink splatered all over the paper and on the floor.

Meanwhile in Kyoto, Yasaka felt a small chill down her spine, the other youkai looked at her questionably while Kunou looked at her mother confused.
"Is there something wrong mother?" Kunou asked curiously.
"Nothing is wrong Kunou." Yasaka smiled and gently patted her head. "Though, I believe I will have to call Vince later in the day."
"Why?"
Unbeknownst to Kunou, the other youkai paled when they saw a sickly sweet smile appear on Yasaka's face and all nine of her tails dangerously swayed. "No reason. Though, I do have a few questions I would like to ask him."

Author's Notes: Finally done with the chapter. I gotta say it was pretty fun writing overall, despite me having a few writer blocks here and there. I tried to make the fight between Issei, Vince and Vali as balanced as I can. At the moment, Vince is only strong enough to hurt Vali in his Balance Breaker.
After thinking it over for a long time, I thought it would be unique for Vince to be able to customize his Balance Breaker's Power, Speed and Defense. That and it's also to show one of the main points of why Vince's Balance Breaker is "flexible". Also before anybody else asks, the name of Vince's Balance Breaker is Phantasma Drive.
Considering how dark the entire arc was I decided to end it at a more light-hearted note to try to make up for it.
Just as a heads-up the next arc takes place in the school days before summer vacation starts, meaning it's before everyone goes to the Underworld.
