Author's Notes: Sorry for the long wait with the chapter. I've been extremely busy and I hardly had any time. That and I gotten sick recently so I had to rest for a bit before finishing this chapter. Now on to the reviews.

Cobalt Striker Gundam: That's good to hear.

Castor115: Glad you liked it. To be honest, I have not decided on whether or not I would do that.

MyMazeMan: Thanks. I try my best to make it as balanced out as I can.

Keybladewielder97: I did have one writing that.

Darkside: Don't worry, I'll be going at a natural pace.

koihime: Not exactly. Although for Serafall, it might come it all depends on how things progress.

Guest: Yeah it is, and thanks.

Naldo: Wow, thanks. As for Gabriel and Serafall it might happen a little bit later on.

Blazeb79: You are actually correct. Rena is based off Tiffania Westwood from Zero no Tsukaima. Well, her light novel counterpart and I'm glad you like the story thus far.

That's it for the reviews. A lot of people seemed to have misunderstood the last chapter. Vince will not be fighting Rias' entire peerage by himself. It would definitely not be a fair fight if that happened and it was stated that the reason for this fight is so that Vince can prove his strength. Doing that will go against it since Vince will lose that fight as he is. I apologize to those who misunderstood. That's all I have to say, now on to the chapter.

Disclaimer: I do not own Highschool DxD or any other references or elements I may put in the story. They all belong to their respective owners I only own my OCs.

"Now then what was so important that you asked me to come here?" Vince questioned as he sat on a chair while Claudia did the same.

Azazel sighed a little and showed a few files of documents and data. "Let me say this first. What I'm going to tell you now is a training menu that focuses on things in the immediate future. There are people who produce good results immediately, but there are also those who have no choice but to look at things in the long run. However, you are all growing young people. Even if you mistake your direction, you will grow well. Now then, first is Rias, you."

"From the beginning, you have been a high-spec devil with everything, including talent, physical ability and magic power. Even if you live normally as you currently are, those traits will rise and you'll become a candidate for being a highest-grade devil when you become an adult. However, your wish is to become stronger than you would in that future, right?" Azazel asked with Rias nodding immediately.

"Yes. I don't want to lose ever again." She answered seriously.

"Then, follow the training recorded on this sheet exactly, even all the way up to the battle day including the day with Vince." Azazel stated.

After looking at the paper with her training menu that Azazel handed to her, Rias tilted her head in puzzlement. "...But, this training doesn't seem all that special, though?"

"Th at's right. It's a basic training method. That's just fine for you. You've already collected everything. That's why your power can only be raised by basic practice. The problem is the quality of the "King". Over time, the "King" seeks brains more than strength. You know that even if they're not good at magic, devils can climb to the top with a good head and cleverness, right? Learn all you can about the Rating Games until the deadline. Drive everything, from game documented images to documented data, into your head. What a "King" needs are the thought, quick-wittiness and judgment to defeat any kind of situation. It's your job to make sure that your group's servant devils can display their power to the fullest. However, also remember that, until the actual game, you won't be able to know what will happen. It's the same as a battlefield." Azazel explained seriously.

"If that's not enough for you, you can practice more over your Power of Destruction as an alternate so you can gain more knowledge about your families trait and use it to it's fullest." Vince added with Azazel nodding in agreement.

"Next, Akeno."

"...Yes." Akeno answered in a sullen tone, causing Vince to look at her and raise an eyebrow.

"You must accept the blood that flows within you." Azazel stated bluntly, making Akeno frown.

(That was... To the point.) Vince thought to himself.

Despite her expression, Azazel didn't pay any mind to it and continued. "I've seen the recorded images of the battle with the Phoenix family. What was that? With your original specs, you should have been able to easily defeat the enemy "Queen". Why didn't you use your Fallen Angel powers? You limited yourself to only thunder. If you don't add light onto thunder and make "lightning", you can't display your true power." Azazel stated.

"...I can do just fine even if I don't depend on that kind of power." Akeno said stubbornly. Vince then turned to Akeno with an annoyed look but restrained himself from speaking. (Seriously? That would have changed few of things possibly have Rias win the match. Tch, I guess I can't complain since I refuse to accept my heritage from my father's side of his family and admittedly my mother's side of her family.)

"Don't deny yourself. What will you do if you can't accept yourself? In the end, the only thing you can rely on is your own body, right? Denying yourself makes you weak. Accept everything about yourself, even the tough and painful things. Your weakness is your current self. Overcome it by the day of the battle. If not, you will become a mere obstruction in future battles. The "Priestess of Thunder" must become the "Priestess of Lightning"."

"..." Akeno remained silent and just looked the other side, until she felt a hand on her shoulder. Turning around, she saw Vince looking at him with a barely noticeable smile.

"I'll be by your side if you want me to. But, I don't think that's needed. I think you're strong enough to accept yourself." He whispered to her in a surprisingly sincere tone.

Akeno's eyes widened greatly as she slowly nodded and turned around, if one looked closely one could see a small tear glistening from her eye.

"Next is Kiba."

"Yes."

"First, you must maintain Balance Breaker for a full day. If you get used to it, you'll be able to maintain it for a full day in your actual battle form. Your objective is to continue that and to become able to maintain that state for the length of a day. After that, you'll be able to become sufficiently strong by doing basic training like Rias. I'll teach you man-to-man how to handle sword-type Sacred Gears later." Azazel explained.

"For sword training... Will you train under your teacher again" He asked curiously.

"Yes, I plan to be taught from scratch again." Kiba responded with a nod.

Azazel then turned to Xenovia. "Next, Xenovia. To be able to use Durandal better than you do now... You need to be able to use another holy sword."

"Another holy sword?" She asked looking doubtful.

"Yeah, a slightly special sword." He replied with a grin before turning to Gasper.

Sensei grinned, but he soon stopped smiling and turned to look at Gasper. "Next is Gasper."

"Y-Yeeeeeeees!" He said nervously.

"Don't be so frightened. Your biggest obstacle is that fear. You need to train your mind and body that fears everything from scratch. From the start, the specs with your bloodline and your Sacred Gear are substantial. Skill improvement of your bishop special characteristics and your magic will also support you greatly. Since I've constructed an exclusive "hikikomori escape plan" program, you must first put on a proper attitude as much as possible. Even if going out in public entirely is impossible for you, make sure that your movements aren't dull." Azazel said.

"Yeeeeeeeeeeeees! I'll try to obtain a spirit that goes for broke!" Gasper exclaimed.

(I hope that doesn't bite him in the ass later.) Vince thought sighing a little.

"The same "Bishop" class, Asia." He said turning to her.

"Y-Yes!" She said with a detemined expression.

'You will also improve your body and magic with basic training. Also, your main task will be to strengthen your Sacred Gear." Azazel replied.

"Isn't Asia's recovery Sacred Gear already the best? She can heal everything besides sickness and stamina just by touching." Issei commented.

(Strengthen her Sacred Gear? Strengthen it in what?) Vince thought looking a bit confused.

"I understand that. The speed of her recovery ability is great. However, the problem is the "touching" part. She can't heal if she doesn't expressly go into close range if an ally is injured." He answered.

"I see. She's not going to be able to get much done if an enemy tries to keep her away." Vince stated.

"Could Asia's Sacred Gear expand its range?" Rias asked raising an eyebrow.

"That's correct, Rias. This is like an underhanded trick, but to show the true worth of "Twilight Healing", its effective range must be expanded."

"So it's also possible for Asia's Sacred Gear to be used in long-range as well!?" Issei questioned, looking a bit surprised.

"According to the theory based on the data gathered by our organisation. It should also be possible for the Sacred Gear aura to be issued from the whole body and to use the recovery on all allies within one's surroundings." Azazel answered.

"But, the problem is that it would seem to heal both enemies and allies without discernment. It would be fine if it could distinguish between enemies and allies and heal only allies, but... I'm worried about Asia's own nature." He commented.

"Asia's... What are you worried about?" Issei asked with a confused look.

Sensei answered my question with a serious look.

Azazel gained a serious look as he looked at Issei. "She's a "kind" person. When seeing an injured enemy on the battlefield, Asia would think in her heart of wanting to heal him too. That would obstruct the Sacred Gear's ability to distinguish between enemies and allies. Most likely, Asia wouldn't be able to obtain this distinguishing power. This enlarged healing range that I spoke of just now can be a double-edged sword for this team. Even so, you should keep the range expansion in mind."

(And just reminding Asia what the enemy did probably won't be enough since her heart might not be in it.) Vince thought shaking his head a little.

"That's why I've found another possibility. -The power to fire the healing aura." Azazel said.

"S-So you mean I would send my healing power to someone that is some distance away from me?" Asia asked as she made a throwing gesture.

"Yes, it seems that you can directly throw it. When Issei is battling ten meters away and is injured, you would fire your healing power at Issei. If what you have used until now is a standard limited field, the one I'm explaining now is a projectile version. You could heal even if you aren't directly touching."

(Healing projectiles? I should bring that up with Chloe next time. And it looks like Rena has the same idea.) Vince thought after seeing her gain a look of realization.

"T-That's amazing! Asia can play a great active role like that!" Issei exclaimed as he took Asia's hands, making her surprised but happy.

"Its power would be a little less than with direct touch, but being able to heal allies from far away is still a strategic characteristic with many uses. With one or two people jumping into the front lines and arranging for the healing Asia and someone to guard her in the back, you'd be able to make the ideal formation." Azazel explained.

Rias nodded in agreement."It's an easy method, but that's why strong tactical formations are simple. Usually, the method used to heal allies is Phoenix tears or some mixed healing medicine. Asia's Sacred Gear could easily top those with its all-purpose characteristic and reliability."

"While that is true. If your opponent or enemy finds out about your formation they will be going after Asia, unfortunately." Rena stated, looking a bit worried.

"That is true..." Rias nodded with a small frown.

"I'm sure Issei-san will make sure that won't happen, correct?" Kasumi asked, looking at him.

"Of course that won't happen! I'll protect Asia!" Issei exclaimed.

"If push comes to shove, you can also boost Asia to increase her physical abilities so she can evade the enemy until back-up arrives." Vince added with a small shrug.

"Sugoi... That's a really great idea." He replied with a grin.

"That's right. Also, the power of Asia's Sacred Gear, which can also heal devils, could be called this team's distinctive characteristic and weapon. After that is merely a test of Asia's strength. Please finish the basic training properly, okay?" Azazel said, looking at her.

"Y-Yes! I'll do my best!" Asia said with a look of determination.

"Next is Koneko."

"...Yes." She replied with a somewhat excited expression.

"You have nothing to be criticised about, as you possess the elementary traits of offence and defence as a "Rook". Your physical ability is also not a problem. However, there are those better at offence in Rias' group than a "Rook" like you."

"...I know that." Koneko said with a frustrated expression.

"The ones at the top of offence in Rias' group are currently Kiba and Xenovia. It's because they possess brutal weapons with his Balance Breaker holy demonic swords and her holy sword Durandal. And with Issei who plans to enter Balance Breaker here..." Azazel commented before continuing.

"Koneko, you will also improve your basics like the others. In addition, release the thing that you have personally sealed. It's the same as with Akeno. If you don't accept yourself, big growth won't be possible for you." He lectured, finishing his assessment.

"..." Koneko said nothing as her determined expression disappeared from her face.

"Don't worry, if it's Koneko-chan, you can become strong in a flash." Issei casually as he tried to pat Koneko's head.

"...Please don't say that so lightly..." Koneko said brushing his hand away with a stern expression.

"If you want something to do then increase the speed of your attacks in addition with your basics." Vince spoke up, somewhat surprising her and the others.

He rolled his eyes and continued. "Just because you're a "Rook" doesn't mean you can't train a little bit in speed. Your punches are a bit too slow for me, I mean aside from grappling me you can't really do much in hand-to-hand aside from chucking things around. Right?" He replied with a challenging smirk.

Koneko's eye twitched as she gained a look of determination and glared at him. "...I will punch you."

"Try increasing the speed of your attacks first." Vince then crossed his arms and looked the other way. (Hopefully, that'll get Koneko more determined to do her training schedule.)

"Next is Rena." Azazel said, turning towards her.

"Yes, Azazel-sensei?" She asked turning towards him.

"Your specs are undeniably good. Possibly on par with Rias, given your lineage from your parents. On your father's side, you come from a family of well known magicians. An ancestor of yours even learned a lost branch of magic, Void magic." Azazel informed, making a majority of the others confused with the exception of Rena and Vince.

"Void magic?" Issei asked looking confused.

"Not much is really known about Void magic, aside from it being the fifth element in Japanese elements. It's such a rare sight to even know that a person can use it." Azazel said sounding somewhat disappointed.

"As Azazel-sensei stated, Void magic is the fifth element of the Japanese elements. Thus far, it's been recorded to have the user be able dispel, create illusion, make powerful explosion, speed up the user's movements to a startling speeds and destroy memories." Rena explained in a somewhat somber tone.

"Amazing. Does that mean you can use Void magic, then Rena?" Rias asked curiously.

Rena however shook her head. "No. My father has a book made from my ancestor that's a record of what Void magic has been discovered to do. However, he's very strict on who reads the book. I've only been able to read it once."

"It makes sense. Knowing that type of information is quite dangerous for anyone else that would attempt to abuse it." Azazel commented.

"Next is your mother's side, You comes from a well known lineage of elves that has mastery over several elements. Such as Fire, Water, Earth and Wind. An ancestor of yours was also able to master Senjutsu." He explained, making Koneko wince a bit at the mention of Senjutsu.

"How do you even know this much about my lineage, Azazel-sensei?" Rena asked raising an eyebrow.

"I did some digging around. That and I called your parents." He replied casually, making her frown.

(Despite this, Rena isn't really comfortable with flaunting her family lineage around. She's kind of timid when her lineage is brought up.) Vince thought as he gently rubbed Rena's back to try and soothe her.

"Why have you been limiting yourself to only using Senjutsu along with wind and light magic? Your rapier has been made with the specs and the functionality to handle the other four elements. Back at the incident with the treaty, you could have easily taken out more magicians, utilizing Earth, Fire and Water magic in your attacks." Azazel asked seriously.

"It's not exactly easy, Azazel-sensei. That and I wanted to emulate my sister at the time. Who's specializes in light magic and wind magic. Because of that, I've lost touch with using Water, Earth and Fire. Especially when I devoted more time into using Senjutsu." Rena replied.

"You need to stop then. You need to be yourself and use your abilities to it's fullest. Looking over your specs, I can tell you, you're light magic will not be on par with your sister's. But your other elements will be just as powerful as your affinity towards Wind. If you can balance everything out and devote more times towards developing your other abilities, you'll be a forced to be reckoned with. Rena, your training schedule will be devoted towards you becoming better with using Water, Fire and Earth magic." Azazel stated in a blunt tone.

"Yes, Azazel-sensei..." Rena said sighing a bit.

"Next is Kasumi."

Kasumi nodded and turned towards him. "Yes, Azazel-sensei?"

Azazel looked over a file and took out a piece of paper to hand to her. "You possess the elementary traits of offence and defense with the basics. The training you went through with your village and your fights prior to meeting Vince has made sure of that. However, I do believe you need to increase the amount of Ki you can use. I've looked over the information I found and your manipulation with Ki is great. In addition to using it for ninpo you can also use it to heal yourself or others. While you can't heal others from a distance, your training especially in your stealth makes up for this. It hasn't been tested before but I do believe your Ki can even heal devils. Your schedule will be towards increasing your stamina to be able to stand through endurance battles and increasing the amount of Ki you can use."

"I understand. Thank you, Azazel-sensei." Kasumi spoke as she looked over her training schedule.

"Next is Akari."

"Azazel-sensei." Akari spoke looking at him.

"You are Kasumi's clone, made to be a weapon by the MIST organization by for Project Alpha. Made to create the ultimate fighter, based on cloning and modifying the DNA of Kasumi. Based on my findings, you were a clone that was only to be used as a test and thus you weren't very stable both genetically and mentally. You were on the verge of death, however Vince's persistence caused you to fight and eventually merge with a modified clone named Alpha-152 and you came to be known as Akari today." Azazel started in a blunt tone.

Akari nodded sadly while Vince remained calm and sighed. (Great. Well... Akari hardly smiles genuinely that and I know she wants to live a normal life without worrying about whether or not she's just a weapon. She even referred to herself as Phase-4, once. As long as Donovan is around she'll always be haunted by him.)

"Since you're Kasumi's clone you are the same case as her. You need to increase your stamina to last in longer battles. However you must also learn how to better control your ability to teleport. It would be a boon if you mastered it. Your opponent would be hard pressed to predict where you would appear. That and you must also overcome your reluctance on fighting. It's a very dangerous weakness that can make you an obstruction." Azazel answered seriously.

Akari remained silent however nodded hesitantly, despite this she gained a conflicted expression as he sighed. "Your training schedule will have you increase your stamina and you gain better control over your ability to teleport. After you've finished working on it, you will go into increasing the amount of Ki you can use, like Kasumi."

"I-I understand." Akari turned the other way as the others looked at her worriedly. However, her lips curled up into a barely noticeable smile when she felt Vince's hand on her shoulder for a few moments.

"Next is Vince."

"Hn."

"You must accept both your Sacred Gears and the power absorbed from both of the Heavenly Dragons." Azazel started in a blunt tone.

Vince crossed his arms and remained silent as he continued. "If you continue to reject your Sacred Gears it will only grow more unstable, especially if you use Balance Breaker. You've noticed it, haven't you?"

"I'll deal with it when I can. I have other things I need to be doing." Vince replied with a small frown.

"Don't underplay this, Vince. An unstable Sacred Gear, let alone two of them are extremely dangerous. Even more so with the power of the Heavenly Dragons in them. Denying your Sacred Gears is not only a weakness, it's also very dangerous. Your Balance Breaker is testament to that." He said seriously.

Vince then raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean exactly?"

"Your Sacred Gears has always been unstable because of the overwhelming power of Angel/Devil. Having the raw power of an Ultimate-Class Devil and an angel on par with an Ultimate-Class. It was because of Yume's assistance that your Sacred Gears hasn't reached at a critical state. However that was close to happening twice. Both when you unlocked your Balance Breaker and when you absorbed Albion's jewel while still having Ddraig's power in your Sacred Gears." Azazel sighed a little before continuing. "Honestly, it's outright surprising that you're still around and moving after all of that."

"Yeah and what's the point you're trying to make?" He asked frowning a little.

"My point is that you need to accept your Sacred Gears. You have other areas you need to work on such as more control over your recent ability to use fire with spiritual properties, further improve in using your demonic sword, Arondight or learning how to control your water magic under a Blood Moon. But the most important thing to work on at the moment is your Sacred Gears. They are very unstable, especially with the added powers of the Heavenly Dragons. You will be focusing on obtaining your real Balance Breaker. That incomplete Balance Breaker you have for Element Brand is not only unstable, it also wastes a lot of energy to maintain. After that you will be focusing on obtaining Balance Breaker for Angel/Devil." Azazel replied simply.

"Right..."

"Don't be so hesitant Vince. You might even be able to add in the power of the Heavenly Dragons to your Balance Breaker. Doing that will be your trump card." Azazel commented.

"Huh... Not a bad idea." Vince replied with a small nod.

Azazel nodded before he frowned a bit. "There is one thing I am curious of. Why do you fiercely reject your Sacred Gears? That type of rejection towards your Sacred Gears isn't normal."

Everyone turned to Vince expectantly, however he slightly winced. "I refuse to answer that question."

"I see... For what ever your reason for rejecting them is, remember that they've been with you since birth. Rejecting them is essentially rejecting yourself. Try to overcome it as soon as possible. Preferably before your exhibition match with Rias starts." Azazel said seriously.

"..." Despite remaining silent, his left hand twitched, until it was grabbed. Looking to his left, he saw Akeno holding his hand with a smile.

While the atmosphere became somewhat gloomy, Azazel worriedly looked at his watch.

"Now then, the last is Issei. For you... Please wait a moment. Should be here soon..." Azazel said as he looked up at the sky.

Everyone looked up at the sky as Issei noticed a huge shadow appeared in the sky that descended towards the others at an extreme speed.

Vince frowned and discretely summoned the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi in a small burst of light. He remained silent but kept his hand closely on the hilt.

The earth shook violently as the figure landed right in front of everyone. Issei fell from his chair and landed on the ground as Vince slowly got up from his seat. Despite the cloud of dust obscuring his vision of sight.

The being turned out to be a gigantic western dragon standing at fifteen meters tall, whose bodily majority is covered with dark, purple scales. The dragon's lower body, specifically his belly, the inner portions of his long tail, and legs, beige in color. It has a triangular head with yellow horns, a pair of large, sharp eyes with lavender sclera. The dragon also sports very sharp canine teeth, and has claws with long, sharp yellow nails. It's large wings resemble a bat's, with rigid tips. Additionally, wearing black armored shoulder pads that extends down to his arms and a loincloth decorated with metal accessories.

"-A dragon!" Issei shouted.

Vince dismissed the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi in a burst of light and looked somewhat confused. (A dragon with a loincloth and a few metal accessories...?)

"That's right, Issei. This is a dragon." Azazel answered nodding.

"Azazel, you have some nerve openly entering devil territory." The enormous dragon spoke.

"Hah, I've properly gotten the personal permission of the Maou-sama and have entered this territory fairly, you know? Do you have a complaint, Tannin?" Azazel asked.

"Hmph. Well, it's fine. I specially came here because of Sirzechs' request. Don't forget your surroundings, Fallen Angel Governor." Tannin stated as he noticed the others and raised an eyebrow. "Times have certainly changed if humans and a half-elf are in the Underworld."

"Heheh. -Anyway, Issei. This guy is your teacher." Azazel said pointing a finger at Tannin.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh! This huge dragon is!?" Issei yelled out in shock as his eyes widened greatly.

"It's been a while, Ddraig. Can you hear me?" Tannin asked looking at Issei.

Then, Issei's left arm shone red on its own, and his Boosted Gear appeared.

[Ah. how nostalgic, Tannin.] Ddraig spoke out,

"Is he an acquaintance of yours?" Issei asked curiously with Ddraig responding with a simple "yes".

[This guy is a former Dragon King. I told you about the "Five Great Dragon Kings" before, right? Tannin here was a Dragon King back when they were the "Six Great Dragon Kings". The dragon called Tannin recorded in the Bible is him.] Ddraig explained.

"Tannin became a devil, so the "Six Great Dragon Kings" became the "Five Great Dragon Kings". Even among the current reincarnated devils, he is ultimate-class. A highest grade devil." Azazel said.

""Blaze Meteor Dragon" Tannin. It's even said that his breath of fire is equal to the impact of a meteorite. He's one of the few legendary dragons that are still active right now. Sorry, Tannin, but please help with the training of this kid who carries the Red Dragon Emperor. I want you to teach him how to use a dragon's power from scratch." Azazel asked Tannin in an earnest tone.

Vince looked at Tannin and crossed his arms. (Well, he lives up to his titles. Even I can feel his power.)

"Even if I don't do it, it should be fine if Ddraig teaches him directly, right?" Tannin questioned.

"Even so, there is a limit to it. He really needs true dragon training." Azazel replied.

"The original actual combat form. I see, so you're saying that you want me to torment this boy." Tannin continued after Azazel spoke.

(Well, Issei's screwed.) Vince thought with a small shrug.

"This is my first time training someone who harbors Ddraig." Tannin said happily while his eyes narrowed with a noticeable smile.

[Please control yourself, Tannin. My host is weaker than you imagine.] Ddraig spoke after seeing his expression.

"It's fine as long as he doesn't die, right? Leave it to me." Tannin stated with Rena, Akari and Kasumi giving Issei a sympathetic look.

Vince chuckled a little before Tannin turned his attention towards him. "Interesting... Shall I train him as well?"

"Wait, what? Why?" He said frowning a bit.

"Boy. You have both Ddraig and Albion's power running through your Sacred Gears. It's a first that's ever happened, especially since you're a human without a connection to either one. Ah, then you must be the human Sirzechs spoke of. The one with the forbidden Sacred Gear. Hmph, to think that such a thing is even possible..." Tannin commented looking at him.

"Humans sure are unpredictable, huh? Either way, Vince is already on another training schedule. Maybe another time when he finishes reaching his complete Balance Breaker." Azazel commented nonchalantly.

"Pass. But by all means take Issei, he looks ready to go." Vince spoke trying to turn their attention to him.

"S-Shut up, Vince! Are you trying to kill me?!" Issei yelled.

"Moving on. The period is about twenty days in human world time. I'd like for him to reach Balance Breaker by then. Issei, work as hard as you can without dying." Azazel said as he waved his hand and started to leave.

"Now then, each of us will now do our respective training menus. I hope you all do well." Rias spoke as she left behind Issei and continued the conversation.

"Yes."

Everyone said responding as they started to disperse from this garden.

"Issei, do your best!" Rias said giving him a thumbs-up, causing Vince to chuckle.

"Miss Rias. Can you lend me the mountain there? I'll be bringing him over there." Tannin said, pointing to a mountain far-off.

"Sure. Please teach him well." She responded with a nod.

"Leave it to me. I'll train him right to the edge of death." Tannin spoke.

Tannin grabbed Issei with his hand and started to fly. "Buchoooooooooou! Viiiiiiiiince!"

Even as Issei cried and begged for help, Rias just waved her hand with a smiling face from below me, while Vince gave him a small wave. "Don't die, Issei."

"You know, Vince after you finish obtaining your Balance Breaker, you could have Tannin help you tame Ddraig and Albion's power." Rias commented with a smile.

"Hell no."

"You could at least try." Rias said pouting a little.

"I'd rather not. Anyways..." Vince ran a hand through his hair and turned towards her. "So did Sirzechs tell you about the details of our exhibition match?"

Rias blinked twice in response. "Did you get the information?"

"I burned it by accident." He replied simply.

"Geez." Rias shook her head in disbelief before smiling a little. "It's essentially a two versus two match. A "King" and a "Queen" against another "King" and "Queen"."

Vince blinked owlishly. "Really? That's surprising. There's no ridiculous stipulation like having to fight you and your entire peerage by myself."

"That would be unfair, besides Onii-sama would look bad for doing that and he's still cautious after the incident with the wedding." Rias stated with Vince sighing a bit.

"Right."

"But you know, just because I'm up against you Vince, doesn't mean I'll go easy on you. Even if it's an exhibition match, I will win." Rias declared, smiling competitively.

"Alright then. No hard feelings, regardless of the outcome?" He asked holding out his hand.

"Of course. No hard feelings." She said taking his hand and shaking it.

Vince sighed a bit, making Rias raise an eyebrow and before she could respond he pulled her in to close the gap between the two and kissed her on the lips.

Her eyes widened greatly as her cheeks turned bright red. A few moments later, she returned the kiss.

The two wrapped their arms around their waist as they deepened the kiss. A few moments later, they pulled apart with Rias looking somewhat dazed while Vince blinked owlishly.

"W-What was the kiss for?" She asked, still blushing a bit.

His only response was to shrug. "My instincts took over. Sorry about that, Rias."

Vince quickly left the garden while Rias pouted a little and placed a finger on her lips, still having a noticeable blush. "I wish that can happen more often."

xXxXxXxXxX

"What are you going to do today, Vince-sama? Are you going to do Azazel's training regime?" Claudia asked as she walked by his side.

"Not yet. The exhibition match with Rias is in a few days. I'd rather focus my efforts on training on my technique and my reflexes before focusing on my Balance Breaker afterwards. Also, stop using that honorific on me." Vince stated with a small shrug.

"I will not, as I've said earlier it would be rude of me. However I do see your point other point. With something as big as that, the time frame between your match with Rias-sama may be too small." Claudia commented.

"That's exactly why I'm not doing it. So, Claudia..." He trailed off.

"Yes?"

"Since that match is basically a two-on-two match. Can you help me out and fight with me?" Vince asked turning towards.

"Why of course, Vince-sama. You didn't need to ask." She said.

"Thanks. I didn't want to ask Kasumi, Akari or Rena. They are friends with Rias and Akeno, after all." He said sighing a little.

Claudia however giggled a bit, making him raise an eyebrow. She noticed this and cleared her throat. "My apologies, it's just that you're really different from the other heirs."

"I see..."

"It's not a bad thing. From what I've seen thus far, you prefer to put the needs of the people you care about ahead of your own, when you can." Claudia spoke with a small smile.

"...I think you're reading way too much into it." Vince commented dryly.

"Of course, Vince-sama. Which reminds me, are you familiar with the rules of the Rating Games?" She asked, brushing off his comment.

"Yeah, I read a book in the libary about it out of boredom. But, how does the library have a book on the Rating Games? I thought the library only had books of the past." He questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"That would be because of me. When I do leave the manor to buy supplies for maintanence, I also make sure to update the library with newer books. When you were in the library, I assumed that you picked out a book from the shelf that contains more recently published books." Claudia answered simply.

"Huh..."

xXxXxXxXxX

"Hmm..." Vince looked over another sheet of paper as he took a sip of coffee from a mug.

"Vince-sama, it's time to depart for our rating match against Rias-sama." Claudia spoke as she entered the room.

"One sec, Claudia and stop using that honorific." He placed the papers away and sighed. "Finally done."

Now finished with the paper he looked at her and raised an eyebrow at her change of attire. Claudia now wore a green and peach-colored dress, with the top being a dark green that has gold lining on it, and being sleeveless, as well as revealing a considerable portion of her cleavage, covered through what appears to be a veil of sorts. Having a red colored ribbon on her neck, and has detached upper-arm portions of her dress's sleeves and has frilled gloves on her hands. "Isn't that the same outfit you wore the other day?"

"Why yes. I do however own multiple copies of this outfit." She answered with Vince nodding.

"It... Looks good on you." He replied in a somewhat awkward tone.

Claudia then gained a teasing smile after hearing his tone. "Do you like what you see? Is it enticing Vince-sama?"

Vince shook his head and sighed. "That's not the reason why."

"Oh?"

"A girl in middle school I had a small crush on wore a green dress for a dance. I just remembered that memory." He admitted.

"I see. Was this before you dated Rena?" She asked curiously.

"Yeah. We were friends at the time. Though, I had a feeling Rena liked me at that point in time." Vince answered with a small shrug.

Vert nodded and then crossed her arms, making her bust rise. "Did you ever have a dance with her?"

"No. She already had a boyfriend and I didn't want to be that type of guy." He said, shrugging again.

"O-Oh. I apologize for bringing up such a memory, Vince-sama." She said bowing.

"You don't have to bow, or use that honorific. Besides, despite me not having a date I had a really good time." Vince answered quickly.

Claudia stopped bowing and rose her head up. "I see. Would you mind telling me what happened?"

"I'll pass on that." He answered swiftly.

She nodded but despite this, had a knowing smile. "Very well, Vince-sama."

(There's no way in hell, I'm telling her or anyone what happened there. It's bad enough that Rena found out about me dancing. Well, more like grinding with her but that's besides the point.) Vince thought as he palmed his face in embarrassment from the memory.

Claudia giggled at his expression as she look at the clock in the room. "We should be on our way, Vince-sama. The match begins in a few minutes."

"Right. It's surprising how a few days goes by so quickly." Vince got up wearing an unzipped black jacket with a few pockets on it. Underneath the jacket is a steel gray shirt. Black pants with a pocket on each side. Black buckled boots with red soles on it and a black glove on his left hand.

"Your clothes suit you Vince-sama, however it makes you out to be a member in a boy band." Claudia commented in a teasing tone.

Vince's eye twitched slightly at the comment as she continued. "Were you reading files of Rias-sama and Akeno?"

"No, I've been around them long enough to know that it's not necessary that and their only other match is against Riser Phenex and I was their to watch. I was looking over a report the previous head clan made about Angel/Devil, he locked it away in a hidden part of his room. The place you told me to sleep at when I stay over at the manor." He stated.

"You are the heir, technically head so you can sleep there. But why would look over the paper instead of asking Yume?" She questioned.

"Well. She's been sleeping a lot lately, the power of those two dragons has been making my Sacred Gears a near mess and she's been up nearly the entire time, trying to stabilize them and doing that takes a lot of her because of the added addition of their powers. That and I wanted to learn more about Angel/Devil myself." Vince explained with a serious tone.

Claudia nodded at the reasoning but raised an eyebrow. "I see. And did you learn anything that you did not from Yume?"

"I did actually. The paper went into specifics about how the process went in the transformations. I'm not sure why Yume didn't bring that up, but it seemed like not even she knew." He replied.

"She doesn't know? But how? She is the spirit of the Sacred Gear." Claudia asked with a confused expression.

"I don't know. I was going to ask her after the whole issue with my Sacred Gear has been settled if she didn't tell me by then. As for the paper, I did learn that with the transformation. My soul is basically being put to the side while the other one takes it's place. The main purpose of this is for the wielder to gain the added powers and techniques from the soul in use along with changing the body to change to match the soul currently in use." Vince explained with a small shrug.

"Oh my, that's rather amazing. Why it even reminds me of the mechanic from that handheld game I played before. I believe it was called Double Soul." She spoke sounding impressed.

"Double Soul? Yeah, when you mention it, it does sound a lot like Double Soul. So, you've played that game then?" Vince asked curiously.

"Played and defeated it to one hundred percent completion." Claudia spoke with a knowing smile.

"I've just beaten it. Double soul... Well, looking over the paper no one gave a name to this ability." He commented.

"Then why not name it Double Soul?" She suggested.

"Hmm... Sounds good to me, thanks." Vince said.

"I'm glad you enjoyed the name." Claudia replied.

She then turn towards the left of the room as she created a magic circle. "Shall we be on our way, Vince-sama?"

"Sure. And like I said earlier, stop using that honorific." He replied as he went into the magic circle.

Claudia giggled and walked into the magic circle with a teasing smile. "We will be arriving there shortly."

"Tch."

The magic circle glowed as the two were disappeared.

xXxXxXxXxX

Both Vince and Claudia walked out of the magic circle, only to appear near a large building. Only to be greeted by Azazel.

"Hey."

"Azazel-san." Claudia spoke with a neutral expression.

"Azazel. Did something come up?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"We're having a meeting right now. Relax, it won't take long." Azazel said after seeing their expression.

"Did you do this with Rias and Akeno?" Vince questioned, his expression now turning curious.

"Yeah. It didn't take that long. This isn't a full ratings match so the strategy doesn't take as long." Azazel stated with the two nodding.

"Alright then." Vince leaned against the building's wall and sighed.

"Vince, how's the state of your Sacred Gears?" Azazel asked.

"It's the same. With only a few days before this began I thought it wouldn't be worth the trouble to start. I'll begin after this match. I've been focusing on my technique and my reflexes in the meantime." He answered simply.

"I see. That is understandable four days is hardly enough time to even start any progress. Training in your technique and your reflexes is a decent alternate, with Rias' Power of Destruction dodging her attacks will be extremely important along with optimizing the amount of damage you can do by improving your technique." Azazel then turned towards to Claudia. "And what about you Claudia?"

"I have been assisting Vince-sama in understanding the fighting-types in the Rating Games. I believe my current strength is more than enough to win this exhibition match Azazel-san." Claudia spoke confidently.

"I assume it would have to do with your previous appearance?" Azazel asked with her nodding in response. "I see. It would explain why your power decreased from being on the borderline of an Ultimate-Class Devil."

"Judging by how Rias and Akeno prefer long range combat, is it safe to guess that they're wizards?" Vince questioned.

"Your assumption is correct. As Claudia as taught you, Wizard-type is a type that is superior in magic in general, so to speak. I am not sure what type Claudia is, but I believe you have the advantage in typing. You're a rare case of being an all-arounder due to your incredible versatility. Being able to adapt into any situation. However despite that, you're not specialized in area and if the data that's gathered is correct, supporting is your weakest area." Azazel stated with him nodding.

"To answer your question Azazel-san, I am a Technique-type. Though, I do dabble a bit in magic." Claudia answered.

"How interesting. I assume Claudia has taught you which types counter each other?" He questioned.

"Yeah. It was boring to remember." He replied, making Claudia pout a little.

"Vince. With as you are now, do you think you'll be able to win against Rias?" Azazel asked looking at him.

"I don't know-" He replied, surprising Claudia and causing Azazel to raise an eyebrow. "However, I don't have to win. I just have to make Rias lose."

Azazel chuckled at his answer as Claudia blinked twice. "I shouldn't be surprised that you thought of that type of answer. However, Rias and Akeno are powerful opponents that and shouldn't be underestimated. Don't be afraid to show off your power."

"...Is that really necessary?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"It might as well be. Rias and Akeno will be fighting at their best and this Rating Games is a debute of sorts. You might not like it, but if you fight seriously it will show the other devils that you're not a pushover." Azazel stated.

"Hm... I'll keep it in mind." Vince commented with a small nod.

"I see. Have you thought up of a counter for the Power of Destruction?" He asked, causing to Vince nod.

"I have actually. Though I'm not sure what the results will be." Vince answered, shaking his head.

Azazel gave a small nod as he raised an eyebrow. "What do you intend to do?"

He extended his hand as an elegant katana appeared in his hands in a burst of light. "I'm going to use the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi against the Rias' attacks."

"How interesting. However, doing that will make one of two things happen. The attacks will cancel each other out. Or given their natures they'll clash violently and cause an explosion." Azazel stated with Vince nodding.

"I'll keep my distance when using it then." He replied as he dismissed the katana in a small burst of light.

"I see, good luck you two." Azazel said as he walked away.

"Shall we be on our way, Vince-sama?" Claudia asked, turning towards him.

Vince sighed a little but nodded. "Yeah. Oh and Claudia?"

"Yes, Vince-sama?" She questioned.

"Please don't interfere with my fight. I'd rather win my own fight against Rias." Vince said.

"Of course, Vince-sama. But do be careful against, Rias-sama." Claudia warned.

"Don't worry, I will." He replied with a small nod.

The two headed towards inside a building, eventually making their way to went into a recently created magic circle as the two walked into it, the magic circle shined brightly causing the two disappear.

xXxXxXxXxX

Claudia raised an eyebrow while Vince smirked a little as the two looked around their surroundings after appearing from the magic circle. "This is perfect."

"Do you know this place, Vince-sama?" She questioned looking a bit confused.

"Yeah, it's the convenience store I usually visit that's in the same neighborhood where I live at." He answered as he examined the area with a watchful eye.

The convenience store's interior was a large building filled with a few tables and seats along with various foods and drinks along with a large countertop filled with various fountain drinks with various cup and large mugs made to hold the drinks. While the other countertop on the opposite end feature various assortments of coffee and cappuccino drinks with several cup sizes, made to hold them.

What caught Vince's attention the most was a countertop in the middle of the store with a cash register, though there was a document right next to it. The look on his eye made Claudia somewhat worried as he kept a sharp eye on the register.

"Vince-sama...?"

"If this is exactly what I think it is, then I couldn't have gotten a better base." Vince commented as he sat on a seat near a table with Claudia doing the same.

[Everyone, I, the "Queen" of the Lucifer group, Grayfia, will be carrying the role of arbiter in the "Rating Game" between the Gremory group and the Valefor group on this occasion.] Grayfia spoke, her voice being heard through the entire field.

[In the name of my master, Sirzechs Lucifer, I will watch over the battle between these two families. It's a pleasure to be here. To get right to the main topic, the battlefield for today is the neighborhood of that where Rias-sama and Vince-sama reside which has been prepared within a separate space as the game field.] Grayfia continued as the smirk on Vince's face widened slightly.

[Both groups have been transported to their respective "bases". Rias-sama's "base" is on the house where Rias-sama resides in the west side of the neighborhood, while Vince-sama's "base" is the local convenience store in the neighborhood at the east side.] Grayfia explained as Vince got up from his seat and patiently waited near the convenience store's refrigerator.

[This time, there will be special rules. Furthermore, the time to strategise before the battle is ten minutes. Contact with the opponent during this time is forbidden. The game is scheduled to start after ten minutes. Then, let the strategy time begin.] Grayfia said as the announcement finished.

"The battlefield is an exact replica of your neighborhood, Vince-sama. How shall we proceed?" Claudia asked as she got up from her seat.

Vince went to register and opened up the document. "Huh. So, that's the special rule. We have to end the match in twenty minutes. That's fine by me. As for what to do..."

He channeled lightning into his hand and into the cash register, making it open. "Jackpot."

"What are you doing Vince-sama?" She questioned.

Vince stopped channeling lightning and brought out a wallet from his pocket. "I'm low on yen and I need to restock on it."

Claudia looked on in disbelief has he stuffed his wallet with the various yen notes and coins. Seeing that his wallet stuffed with yen, he placed it away in his pocket and went towards the other side of the store. "Be sure to get something for yourself Claudia. We have ten minutes to get what we want."

"But what about the strategy?" She asked him.

"That will be in a few seconds. This place has various coffee and foods, so pick your favorites and we'll start a plan while we're eating." Vince stated as he got a large mug of soda and a few bentos with a hot dog.

Seeing the various selection, Claudia sighed and started gathering what she wanted. "It does look delicious..."

After finishing what they wanted the two sat on a seat around a table. Vince looked at the map provided in the document. He sighed a little as he finished his food quickly.

Claudia took a sip of her coffee and looked at the map intently. "So the battlefield is slightly below average in size. That will make it easier to run into Rias-sama and Akeno-san."

Vince nodded and took a large sip of his soda. "Yup. I already have a plan on how to flush them out of their base. Destroying their base is a priority though."

"I see. It would certainly make things harder for them if their base is destroyed." Claudia commented with a small nod.

"Either way, our time is going to be up. We have about a minute left." He stated, glancing at the clock.

"W-Wait, you still haven't told me what I'll be doing!" She exclaimed.

Vince got up from his seat and went out side with Claudia following suite. "Vince-sama!"

He sighed and turned towards her. "Follow me."

Looking confused, she nodded as he channeled lightning through his feet and ran up to the roof of the building using the wall. Sighing a bit, she acrobatically jumped from wall to wall until she reached the roof near him.

"Vince-sama, please tell me what you're going to do." Claudia spoke as he nodded.

"Well, since the minute just expired now. I'm going to destroy their base. As for what you can do, you can either act freely or separate Rias and Akeno and fight one of them individually to avoid them from helping each other, it's your choice. However-" Vince spoke as Claudia nodded, but looked somewhat surprised but raised an eyebrow.

"However...?"

"Like Azazel said earlier, don't underestimate them. Also, you should take a step back" He said simply.

"I understand, Vince-sama." Claudia nodded as she took a step back.

Vince brought his hands together and placed it in front of himself, palms open as an immense power was felt surging through him. A massive magic circle appeared a few feet away from them as a massive amount of water surged through it. The water from the magic circle swirled around and formed into a massive sea serpent made out of pure water.

"Leviathan!" Vince exclaimed as the massive sea serpent roared loudly, making multiple windows shatter from arounnd the neighborhood as a result.

Upon it's appearance the creature flooded the streets with water as the water level rose to several feet, easily flooding a majority of the buildings and the objects near it, including most of the convenience store.

The creature then swam towards Rias' base with all of the water following behind it, making it an enormous tidal wave. However to the surprise of most of the people watching, at the last minute the sea serpent's body changed into water, adding further water to the already massive tidal wave.

With a loud crash the tidal wave crashed over Rias' base, in addition to a large portion of the buildings in the neighborhood. As a result, most of the buildings were crushed and submerged in a large body of water. With now a several object and buildings floated in the water, shattered in pieces.

Vince took a deep breath to relax and sighed. "Much better. Chloe's advice was spot on."

"Amazing. I never expected for you to use such a powerful spell." Claudia commented as she noticed two figures flying around both drenched in water.

"That was quite the spell Vince, I didn't expect you to create, let alone use such a powerful attack as soon as the match started." Rias spoke as both she and Akeno floated in the air, via their devil wings.

"You certainly have been busy Vince-kun. It makes me really curious to see what else you worked on." Akeno added with a hint of seduction in her voice, dressed in her miko outfit.

Vince however snorted. "Recently created? As if. That was created when I was thirteen."

Everyone's eyes widened at his admission as he crossed his arms. (My Leviathan spell was adjusted a bit to make it easier to use. Not that I'll say it out loud in the middle of an audience watching.)

"Oh my, now I have the urge to bully you even more. Especially after that last attack made me wet." She commented as rolled his eyes at the innuendo.

Vince brought his hand up as a burst of water shot out from flooded area and nearly blasted Rias, however she created a crimson sphere which destroyed the water instantly. "Claudia. You know what to do."

He jumped off the roof and to her surprise, he stood on top of the flooded area and propelled himself forward, sliding across the water at an impressive speed. She smiled a little and took out a spear via a magic circle of hers.

Rias quickly flew after Vince and Akeno as well however she stopped by Claudia who stood in front of her floating above the water as her devil wings emitted a strange pink aura. "I'm afraid I can't let you go any further Akeno. It would be inconvenient for Vince-sama."

"Ara ara, I was thinking the same thing for Buchou." Akeno commented as she shot out a bolt of lightning at Claudia.

She gracefully dodged and flew towards her. "However, I know I can win."

Akeno smiled teasingly and nearly blasted her with a larger bolt of lightning. "Underestimating me Claudia-san? Now I feel like bullying you."

Claudia quickly dove down, narrowly avoiding the lightning bolt and without a moment's notice she flew up towards her.

Akeno narrowly avoided the her lunge and responded by blasting her with a bolt of lightning. Seeing this, she twirled her spear, redirecting the lightning bolt at a part of a building. Despite doing this she winced a little from being shocked.

Claudia extended her hand as a magic circle appeared behind Akeno, her eyes widened as she narrowly avoided getting stabbed by a spear that came out from it, despite her efforts the spear tore a small part of her miko outfit, revealing a small section of her side.

The spear crumbled and disappeared as Akeno licked her lips and giggled sadistically. "This is even more fun than I thought."

A small chuckle escaped her throat as she nodded. "I must admit that I'm also having fun, Akeno."

She twirled her spear expertly and flew towards her. Akeno flew back to gain some distance and launched multiple lighting bolts at her, at a faster rate that surprised Claudia.

Seeing no other option for avoiding she brought her spear up in defense and twirled it as fast as she could to deflect it. Despite doing this she winced pain from being shocked. Akeno giggled and fired off another lightning bolt that nailed Claudia in the side of her arm.

"Aaah!" She grabbed her arm in pain as she examined it, frowning a little at seeing it twitching slightly with a small amount of smoke coming from it.

Claudia immediately flew out of the way as she saw another barrage of lightning bolts headed right towards her. She dashed towards Akeno with her spear swinging and thrusting gracefully at a startling speed.

Akeno dodged by carefully maneuvering through her attacks. Seeing an opportunity she flew back a bit and released a large thunderbolt in front of her, however Claudia smiled and at the last second flew down as she extended her hand. "Sylhet Spear!"

A magic circle appeared behind Akeno as a spear shot out of it, Akeno's eyes widened at the speed of the spear and quickly flew out of the way. Despite doing this the side of her cheek got grazed by the spear as it crumbled and disappeared.

Akeno smiled a bit as a small trail of blood trailed down from her cheek. "You're much more stronger than I thought Claudia-san."

A small chuckle escaped her throat. "I appreciate the compliment Akeno. I must admit you're also stronger than I anticipated. It's also cute on how much of crush you have on Vince-sama."

Despite giggling in her usual manner, a small blush graced her cheeks as she sent out a lightning bolt at her. "I find it fun to tease my kohai."

Claudia dodged while creating a magic circle that appeared next to her, within mere seconds a spear shot out of it and nearly stabbed Akeno if it wasn't for her blasting the spear with another lightning bolt.

A smile appeared on Claudia's face as she created yet another magic circle as a spear came out and nearly pierced Akeno. "You should be more honest to yourself and-"

Several magic circles appeared next Akeno, her eyes widened as she quickly did her best to either dodge or destroy the spears coming out of the magic circles with her lightning magic. As Akeno finished, Claudia appeared right in front of her. "You've let your guard down, Akeno."

With a smile still on her face and at speeds hardly anyone can see, she slashed her repeatedly with a flurry of slashes and swings from her spear. As Claudia passed through Akeno and stopped multiple cuts and slashes appeared all over Akeno, not only shredding her miko outfit into pieces but also slashing her repeatedly. "Kinestra Slash."

Akeno coughed up blood and started bleeding from her wounds as she slowly descended to the roof of a building holding her wounds. She disappeared in a beam of light as Claudia sighed. "I hope Vince-sama won't be too upset about this."

xXxXxXxXxX

Rias frowned as she chased after Vince who continued to skate through the waters at a high speed, sending an occasion lightning bolt at her to which she easily destroyed with a crimson sphere.

[Rias Gremory-sama's "Queen" retired.]

Vince stopped running and skidded to a halt, which made a loud splash as a result. "I think now's a good time to stop."

Her eyes widened and her frowned deepened even more upon hearing the announcement. "I see. So this was a distraction so Claudia could defeat Akeno. I do find it surprising that she was able to though. However, doing so made sure that you're quite a distance away from her. I'll just defeat you before she can come."

However he shook his head. "She won't interfere. I asked Claudia not to."

Rias raised an eyebrow. "Why? It would give you the advantage."

Vince just shrugged in response. "I want to fight against you with no one else interfering. Now then, let's start-"

Suddenly the conversation was interrupted as a loud ring tone echoed through the area. He took out his cellphone and flipped it open. "Huh. Two text messages one from Yasaka and another from Helena..."

Rias' eye twitched violently as she radiated a crimson aura. "You're going to read to your text messages in the middle of our important match?!"

"Well, yeah. I do consider this a bit more important than the match." Vince said in a blunt tone.

The aura she radiated exploded as a large crimson sphere formed in her hands. "Viiiiince!"

She tossed the large crimson sphere at him. His eyes slightly widened as he pocketed his cellphone and immediately rolled to the side on the water to avoid the attack. "Well, shit."

The next few seconds of Rias angrily releasing multiple crimson spheres at Vince at a rapid speed that forced him to constant roll to avoid getting blasted. (I better use Double Soul to give myself better protection. Besides, it would be a good chance to see if I can use Totsuka as a Devil. If Xenovia can use Durandal as a Devil then I'm pretty sure I can do the same with Totsuka.)

Rias brought her hands together as a large crimson sphere formed in her hands, doubling in size, making his eyes slightly widen. (That's new. Didn't see that one coming.)

"Haaaaaaaa!" She fired the crimson sphere at a blistering speed that forced Vince to propel himself away from the large sphere by having the water in the area blast him away with a large torrent of water.

The sphere made contact with the water in the area and immediately destroyed it, leaving a crater in the area. However the water naturally refilled the crater but doing this caused the overall water level to decrease a bit.

Vince stopped the torrent of water and turned around leaving skidding making the water splash a bit. "Double Soul: Devil Soul."

A magic circle radiating demonic energy momentarily appeared in front of his bracelet. His right arm turned into a demonic looking claw. His claw, palm and forehand illuminated a blue aura, with a large blue crack in the middle of his forearm. The rest of his arm was covered in red organic flesh, with a spike protruding from his elbow. Purple strap-like flesh covered the top part of both of his right arm.

"Double Soul?" Rias asked raising an eyebrow at the new term.

In a burst of light an elegant katana that radiated a holy aura appeared in his hand. "Hope your fast, Rias!"

Within a matter of a second unsheathed the katana and sent a holy wave at her. Rias' eyes widened as she sent a crimson sphere at the wave to counter it.

The two energies violently clashed the moment they came into contact, a moment later the resulting clash created a violent explosion that forced Rias and Vince to gain some distance.

As the smoke cleared up from the explosion the two looked at result and saw that there remained no traces of the few buildings that remained afloat on top of water.

(So. Azazel was right. Their clashing natures will make a violent explosion. I didn't expect for it to completely destroy the buildings though. There's nothing left, not even a pile of rubble or a pebble...) Vince thought as he held the katana with his devil bringer.

Upon contact with the weapon, Vince felt a small shock course through his body as the blade emitted a small light from the blade for a few moments. As if recognizing him.

Rias frowned and quickly sent multiple crimson spheres as Vince responded in turn by repeatedly swinging the sword in a quick succession, sending multiple waves of holy energy from the blade as it was swung.

The attacks collided yet again resulting in multiple explosions that completely destroyed everything in it's path. They both noticed the explosions expanding in size and quickly went to a safer distance to avoid the backlash of the attacks.

Both Vince and Rias' eyes widened as they saw the water level in the area drastically reduced along with the buildings and the debris that was submerged.

"Hey Rias. I'm switching out weapons. Those explosions are getting too dangerous for my tastes." Vince commented as he sheated his katana.

Rias nodded in response. "I think that might be for the best."

In a burst of light the katana disappeared as a large two handed sword appeared in a burst of darkness. Vince grabbed the sword that radiated demonic energy which as a result caused the demonic energy that already radiated from him to spike up. He sighed and took a deep breath as he swung the demon-sword violently with one hand.

A demonic wave of energy shot out of the sword and easily traveled across the area, easily slicing through any building and debris that it made contact with. "There we go..."

"I see. So you're using Arondight, then. Which also means that your darker emotions will surface." Rias stated with a frown.

"Hey, I need something to fight against your Power of Destruction with. You'll just destroy any other type of attack I'll send at ya." Vince commented as he casually rubbed his neck with his free hand.

Without any further notice, Vince brought down Arondight and swung it, not only slashing through the water but also sending a large demonic wave at Rias.

She quickly flew away from the attack and responded in turn by bringing her hands together and launching a big crimson sphere, twice the size of her usual attack.

Vince however grinned a bit and dashed towards it. However to her surprise, he squatted for a moment and jumped as high as he could, leaping over the crimson sphere as it crashed into the water, destroying it. Vince then slammed the large sword into the water and followed up by swinging the blade into a rising slash.

A massive shockwave of destructive energy came out which made a massive splash, as a large demonic energy wave came out of the sword and headed towards Rias.

Seeing no other choice, she brought her hands together and sent a crimson sphere, in a size similar to the demonic wave.

The attacks clashed with each other violently with both attacks struggling for dominance. Which resulted in a large explosion a moment later.

Rias quickly flew away as Vince took advantage and disappeared from the sight using the explosion as the water level reduced drastically, leaving the area wet and filled with puddles and debris from the explosions.

As the smoke from the explosion cleared she quickly looked around for Vince as she landed on the street, only for him to appear right besides her. She immediately sent a crimson sphere at him. He brought up his devil bringer in defense and screamed a bit in pain from the attack. To her surprise, it remained intact despite it releasing a small amount of smoke.

A smirk appeared on his face as he closed in the distance between themselves quickly. "Not bad. I like it when you're feisty. It makes things more exciting for me."

Rias' cheeks turned red while the smirk on Vince's face slightly widened. "T-This isn't a place to talk of such things!"

"Maybe. But saying that makes it easier to do this-" Vince kicked Rias on the side, which sent her flying straight into a torn building. Seeing a few pieces of debris off the ground, he kicked it up and sent at her by slashing it with the blunt side of the sword.

She coughed up a small amount of blood and frowned at the way she was caught off guard. However Rias was forced to put her thoughts to the side as she blasted a pieces of debris headed towards her. After destroying the pieces of debris, she got out of the building and looked around for him.

Vince smirked as he ran up a barely intact building and repeatedly slash it with his demon-sword, slicing it along the way. Upon jumping on the roof he looked down and saw the building sway to the side as it started to collapse. "Perfect."

He jumped off the building with his devil bringer cocked back and with a tremendous force that surprised most of the audience he punched the multiple pieces of the sliced building at her in quick succession without skipping a beat. "Take this!"

Rias' eyes widened as she saw the pieces of the building headed towards her. She quickly sent out multiple large crimson sphere's at the falling pieces of the building, destroying it instantly.

She breathed heavily and looked around for Vince, only to see no trace of him.

"Gotcha."

Her eyes quickly widened only to see her self completely caught by what appeared to be a spectral arm of a demonic claw. Turning around, she saw Vince restraining her from behind with his devil bringer. "How?"

Vince glanced towards the ground and following his line of sight her eyes widened as she saw a hole near the area of the building where she crashed into. "While you were preoccupied, I was busy buildin' a few tunnels to travel around more quickly."

"Then this entire time you planned this?" She asked frowning a bit as she tried to free herself.

"Nah. I got the idea after I saw the water level in the area decreasing a bit after Totsuka and your Power of Destruction clashed a few times." He admitted with her nodding, however seeing her arm twitch slightly, Vince gripped Rias even harder making her wince.

"It was also why I started distracting you with those debris and fighting long distance a majority of the time. Take a good look at me." He said getting even closer to her with Arondight in hand.

Her eyes slightly widen at seeing him more up close, his entire clothes and body from head-to-toe, covered in dirt and his face more noticeable darker due to the dirt. "How? I would have noticed it during the times I saw you."

"I found a pipe filled with water underground and I washed off the dirt quickly before resurfacing. Even then, I still wanted to keep my distance from you so wouldn't pick up on it. However, I didn't have enough time to wash of the dirt this time." Vince answered with a small shrug.

[Time is up.] Grayfia spoke, making Rias' eyes widen and Vince raise an eyebrow.

[Due to neither Rias Gremory-sama and Vince Reinhart-sama being eliminated within the time limit, the match is now declared a draw.] Grayfia announced, surprising Rias and everyone else.

"A draw, huh? Well, it's definitely a better alternate than losing, right?" He asked, letting go of Rias from his grip.

She breathed a sigh of relief and slightly winced at the pain. "I'm not sure how to feel about this. While I did not win, it was certainly not a loss and that was only because of the time limit. Otherwise I would have lost."

"So? It's not like it's an official match and you've hardly started going into Azazel's training schedule, it's only been four days. Besides, this match is nothing more than a glorified debut and a practice match." Vince spoke bluntly.

Rias nodded slowly and smiled. "Thanks Vince."

"No problem." Vince dismissed Arondight along with reverting back to normal from his transformation.

He stumbled slightly and frowned. (I used up more energy than I thought.)

Claudia looked somewhat confused as she walked outside of the building with Vince by her side. "Vince-sama, are you okay with a draw?"

"Hm? I'm fine with that. There's not much to feel acomplished about over something like that." He replied with a shrug.

"I see. You don't have a very high opinion on the Rating Games, do you?" She said in a tone that was more of a statement, rather than a question.

Vince frowned a little and crossed his arms. "I was neutral towards it, until I was forced into it just to show off. Even worse, you had to get dragged into it."

"It wasn't that bad Vince-sama, I had fun participating. Akeno is the strongest opponent I fought out of the manor thus far." Claudia replied with a smile.

"I see..."

"I also saw your entire fight with Rias. I'm sure it'll entertain the audience for quite a bit. It was definitely something that hasn't been seen before. Hardly anyone has ever had the gall to face the Power of Destruction head-on like you did and your Devil's form was able to take an attack from her Power of Destruction at close range without any lasting damages." She commented.

"It still hurted like a bitch though. It felt like my arm got stabbed and lit on fire." He said, rubbing his left arm where his devil bringer was.

"Oh my."

"Before I go back to my training schedule, I'm going to go visit Rias and Akeno in the infirmary to see how they're doing and to give them a vial of Phenex tears." Vince stated.

Claudia look at him and smiled. "You certainly seem fond of them Vince-sama-" Her smile then turned into a teasing one. "If this keeps up, I believe you might have a harem quite soon. Especially with Kasumi, Akari and Rena's attraction towards you and even Leviathan-sama if that kiss was anything to go by."

"Tch, you're readin' way too much into this." He replied with a blush.

"Vince Reinhart." A feminine voice spoke.

Glancing to his left he saw Seekvaira approaching him. Vince raised an eyebrow at this. "You're that heiress that attended the gathering. Seekvaira Agares."

"Yes. I saw you and your maid's performance. You've certainly proved yourself as the heir to the Valefor clan. No one expected for you to fight the way you did, especially with how you use your holy-sword and demon-sword in that manner." She said.

"Duly noted. Now why's the real reason you're talking to me?" He asked deadpanning.

"Interesting. You prefer to get to the point." Seekvaira noted as she took out a paper and gave it to him.

"What is it?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"A marriage contact-" She stated simply, surprising both Claudia and Vince. "Our clans made an agreement long before our time. That two heirs from the Valefor and the Agares clan would to be engaged and wed, to strengthen the union between our two clans."

Vince's eyes narrowed as he read the paper, Claudia herself said nothing and gained a neutral expression. "I see. And you expect me to agree to marry a stranger because of an outdated marriage contract?"

Seekvaira frowned at the way she was mentioned and crossed her arms. "The head of the Agares clan insisted to revise this contract and present it to you. Also, it is our duty as heirs to do what is best for our clan and the Underworld."

"I refuse." He stated simply.

"Excuse me?"

"I'm not going to go through with something like this. Especially for such a idiotic reason like duty." Vince said in a blunt tone.

Seekvaira sent him a cold glare. "Idiotic? Doing one's duty as an heir is not idiotic!"

"I've got nothing against you and it looks like you don't like this as much as I do. So I'll do us both a favor-" Much to Seekvaira's shock, he spat into the paper and crumbled it up. "Tell the parent that currently runs the Agares clan, that I'm not interested in going into a marriage over a useless agreement over that happened in who knows how long with a person I know don't know."

He tossed the paper away and without waiting for her response, he walked ahead and left Seekvaira while Claudia following suite.

Seekvaira on the other hand looked surprised and somewhat glared at his retreating back before turning around and walking away.

Author's Notes: That's it for the chapter and before anyone says anything. Vince doesn't have a problem with Seekvaira or an opinion for that matter since he doesn't really know her. He just wants to avoid marriage contracts like the plague.

It took a while for me to write up training schedules for Kasumi, Akari and Rena. They were the most difficult to write, but hopefully I made them good.

As for the recent term for Vince's ability Double Soul. Yeah, it's based off of the one from the Megaman Battle Network series. To be honest, I always wanted to go more in-depth with what Vince's Angel/Devil, Sacred Gear can do and give it a proper name. At the time, I didn't have the name in mind and I haven't had the chance to give a proper name for the ability or a more in-depth explanation until recently, I apologize for that. Also Yume's suspicion and ambiguity will be brought into question soon.

I figured that the collision between Rias' Power of Destruction and Vince's Totsuka-no-Tsurugi would have a violent reaction given their different natures, hence why it's like that. The same thing applies with Arondight as well that and it seems more fitting given their natures.

That's all I have to say for now, I hope everyone enjoyed the chapter and I will try to update as soon as I can, take care.
