Author's Notes: I'm really sorry for the lack of updates but I've had a lot of real world reponsibilities I had to take care of and they took a lot more time than I thought or wanted. That I really don't want to rush out a chapter and leave a lot of mistakes. But thankfully I'm finally finished and here's the chapter. Now on to the reviews.

AcclaimingTR: Thanks, though it's not a copy of Zenith Tempest and I'm glad you like the small meme jokes.

ReaperX01: Sorry for the wait but here it is.

Savae: Probably not. I don't exactly see Yume summoning a spirit like that. But I will keep that concept in mind for something else, thank you.

Guest: It's here.

Cobalt Striker Gundam: Thanks, glad you liked the chapter.

The Storm Master 567: Thank you. As for the island thing, it's sort of relaxtion mini-arc thing which I'm pretty sure they need a vacation at this point.

ASTROFOX: Sorta. It depends on the pacing of the next chapter and if it's long enough I may split it into two chapters. But I can definitely say that next chapter Vince will tackle his problem directly.

Guest 2: I'm getting better slowly but surely and thanks.

burstoc: I read up a little on the wiki and I can see some similarities between the two names, not exact but I can see it.

ZeroSaga: I'm getting better, slowly. Well, all I can say is that their powers will play a role with his new Balance Breaker.

Rudos: That'll happen. Not right now given how things are shaping up but it'll happen soon.

zero kazama: Thanks.

Keybladewielder97: Probably, but it's something Vince will have to deal with. Having Vince ask for help is rare. He would react accordlingly and with a small smartass remark in the mix. There's no familiar in the manner per say, but there is something there in regards to a familiar. Same here, I don't mind it.

Xhaos: Vince wouldn't kill them. Probably piss them off and beat them in self defense if they try to attack him but he doesn't really kill someone unless it's his only option. That's just how he is.

AJ: Thanks for the feedback as for questions, Vince's tastes are varied. He likes Italian food but that's actually not his favorite food to eat. I have no plans on Akeno going to Zack's Island or anyone else really outside of Kasumi and Akari. Vince will talk to the others at one point but so they can better understand each other, I just haven't thought of a good time when that will happen. Haven't decided on Kuroka, I just know that she and Vince will have very interesting interactions with each other. Yes, Vince is a very neutral person on most matters though he does have his opinions and does takes sides when he wants to.

Guest 3: No, but a lot of personal business in my life has kept me busy.

NERO TOVACK: At the moment, no. But there will be some fun interactions between the two.

Guest 4: No, I'm just really busy with real life obligations that takes up a lot of time. I really do want to keep writing the story.

Urs Vernos: I honestly haven't thought much about it. So it's a bit 50-50 for me. I just know that I don't want Vince to have a big harem that goes up to double digits.

That's it for the review. I'm honestly surprised and thankful so many people reviewed this story for the last chapter. Thanks a lot, now then on to the chapter.

Disclaimer: I do not own Highschool DxD or any other references or elements I may put in the story. They all belong to their respective owners I only own my OCs.

"Burn!" Rena pointed her rapier at a target as three large fireballs shot out of her rapier. Burning the target to a crisp, seeing the fire slowly spreading from the target and on to the ground she quickly raised her rapier and pointed it at the flames. "Water!"

Several torrents of water crashed down on the flames easily getting rid of the fire. Rena breathed heavily as she got on a knee with rapier planted to the ground, holding on to her weapon for support. (Geez, I can't believe I'm this out of shape with my other elemental magic. I really have been too reliant on my wind and light magic. Not to mention, Senjutsu.)

"Rena-san, are you okay?" Kasumi asked approaching her, wearing a blue, side-tie dress with short puffy sleeves, white trim, a kanji of her name stitched in gold on the back, and a light-colored phoenix pattern on the skirt, complete with stockings, low heeled sandals, blue & white leg guards and arm-guards.

"I-I'll be fine Kasumi. Thank you." She reassured regaining her balance as she sheathed her rapier.

"It's no problem Rena-san." Kasumi replied with a smile.

"How's your training coming along Kasumi?" Rena asked curiously.

Kasumi handed her a bottle of water to which she thanked with a nod while taking one out for herself. She opened the bottle and took a quick sip. "I think it's coming along well. I just have to work on a few things. How is your training?"

"A bit rough. I'm a bit rusty and I'm getting used to using other elemental magic that's not wind or light." She replied with a sheepish smile.

Kasumi nodded as Rena looked up the sky. "I never thought I would be training in the Underworld of all places, let alone entering it."

"I agree." Kasumi let out a small giggle as she looked up as well. "I didn't think I would ever come to a place like this, let alone make friends so easily."

Rena looked slightly surprised before nodding with a smile. "Yeah. I've usually been limited with friends so it is a bit of a change to have so much friends."

Kasumi nodded in agreement. "Yes, it's almost hard to believe that I have so many friends in such a short time."

"Even if they're a bit eccentric." Rena commented.

Kasumi giggled at the comment before looking a bit curious. "Say, Rena. How was it like dating Vince?"

"Eh?" Rena blinked twice, not expecting the question.

"I'm kind of curious myself. Can you answer me that Rena?" Akari asked, wearing a dark red ninja jumpsuit and a fishnet shirt underneath. Appearing near them in a small whirlwind of cherry blossoms.

Seeing their expectant looks she sighed but smiled a little. "Well... At the beginning Vince was always hesitant on making a move on me. But he always helped me out when I needed it and gave me his honest opinion. Vince is a really sweetie, even if he shows it privately. A little later on when he got used to dating Vince became a bit more romantic and bolder."

Akari smiled a little as she nodded looking a little surprised. "I kind of expected for him to be like that. But the romantic part is surprising."

"I have to admit I was not expecting that part either." Kasumi stated also looking a little surprised.

"That may have been due to me. I introduced Vince into anime and manga. After letting him choose a few he seemed to prefer a more mature romantic anime. When he's not looking at an anime with more action or one with a harem." Rena said with a small shrug.

"I see. That certainly makes sense." Akari said.

"But his tastes in anime is a little unexpected." Kasumi replied.

Rena nodded as she crossed her arms, making her bust rise. "True. I certainly wasn't expecting his tastes in anime to develop in that manner. But it isn't a bad thing."

"You two seemed like a great couple. It's almost a mystery why the both of you broke up." Akari commented.

"If you don't mind me asking. Why did that happen?" Kasumi asked in a curious tone.

Rena winced a little as she recalled the memory. "Well, certain things happened back then and we had to break up. I didn't want to. But it was for the best at that time."

(Flashback)

Rena smiled as she was about to ring the doorbell on Vince's house however before she could a loud yell coming from the house nearly made her jump back.

"Are you out of your damn mind?! I'm not leaving Rena or Chloe here!" Vince shouted, sounding completely furious.

"Don't you dare raise your voice at me Vince! Do you realize how bad things are going for you right now!? You almost destroyed your grandfather's car with a lightning bolt after losing your temper and not to mention last week you short-circuit an ATM with your lightning magic to get money to buy a video game console and those games." Elena stated, whispering that last statement harshly with Vince frowning.

Vince crossed his arms, frowning. "Like I give a damn about him and last I check, you didn't either. Besides, we're poor and you told me to earn the money and I did."

She crossed her arms and gave him a stern look. "I did not mean it in that way and you know it. As for you're grandpa yes, you're right. But I don't want them to see you do it, there's going to be a lot problems with explaining it to them, not to mention you know as well as I do that they won't hesitate to call the cops on you and that's not counting what would happen if someone else in public saw you."

"Big deal."

"There's also the incident that happened a few weeks ago. Remember when you lost control of your temper and beat up that guy in the hospital where Chloe was at? You almost killed him when you ruptured his kidney with that water punch. And if I recall correctly, that punch was dense enough to punch through concrete." She asked looking at him.

"He had it coming when he came in the hospital with damned gun trying to shoot the patients and the staff. That person should feel lucky that's all I did." Vince answered with a cold look.

Elena rubbed her temples with her index and middle finger and sighed. "Vince, I understand that you want to protect Chloe from anything dangerous while she's in a coma but there is such a thing as excessive force. Yuji told me after his investigation of that guy that attacked the hospital. He wasn't right in his mind, he had a lot of mental problems."

"Mental or not, I'll beat down anyone that gets in my way." He replied, his eyes narrowing in frustration and anger.

Elena sighed and look at him with a concerned expression. "Vince, I'm going to be blunt here. Ever since that incident happened with Chloe, your anger and frustration has become out of control. Not to mention, you're going into a form of depression. At least Rena is trying moving on with her life, while you're just stuck as if it happened yesterday. It's already been two years since it happened. That's why, I'm sending you to Kuoh. You need to get a change of scenery and to chill out before you do something stupid."

Vince clenched his fist in anger, with enough force to pierce through his skin and bleed. He turned around with a few tears escaping him. "Of course you wouldn't understand. You weren't even there to begin with. Like you would know any better, you're just an obstacle in my way."

Elena saw him walk away with a look of pure rage and grief as she saw his body radiating a small aura of lightning around his body that aura was being covered by a light blue aura that moved as fluidly as water.

After seeing him enter his room she frowned a bit as she recalled his remark. "An obstacle huh? Fine, I'll gladly be an obstacle in your way, if it prevents you from doing any stupid. Rena, you can come in now, I know you were listening in."

Rena awkwardly opened the door and walked into the house before closing it. "M-My apologies Elena, it wasn't my intention to eavesdrop."

She however waved it off. "Eavesdrop? Please, with how we were yelling, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole neighborhood heard."

"O-Oh..."

"It's fine. Do you want some fresh coffee? I just made some." Elena offered.

"Sure. But what about Vince?" Rena asked with walking towards his room.

"Don't. He needs to cool off, when Vince is like this the best thing to do is give him space.

Rena stopped and immediately walked away from the door after noticing a violent lightning aura along with a blue aura flaring up to the point where it became visible from underneath the door. (I don't like seeing Vince like this but I must admit when he's furious the power he lets out is amazing.)

After making the coffee, both Rena and Elena sat on a seat around a wooden table. Rena took a sip of her coffee and smiled. "It tastes great."

"Thank you." Elena replied taking a sip of her own coffee.

Despite the awkward atmosphere between the two, Rena composed herself and spoke up. "So, if you don't mind me asking. What happened?"

Elena remained silent for a few seconds before she placed her cup down and sighed. "Well, long story short. Vince's temper is getting the better of him. He's starting to get more angry and lash out more and it's getting unbearable. Not only that Vince has been getting frustrated lately and his grades are slipping."

"I see... Well, Vince has been devoting a large majority of his time trying to find a cure for Chloe. He still hasn't gotten over what happened." Rena admitted with a sigh.

"I knew it. It also explains why he refuses to transfer schools and leave the country." Elena commented.

Rena's eyes widened greatly. "You want Vince to leave the country?"

"Yes, I want him to get his mind off of his problems and sees new sights he's to obsessed with finding a cure and it's damaging his life and his psyche. I talked to a close friend of mine and she's going to pull a few strings to get him into a private school in Japan, called Kuoh Academy. The school was recently converted from an all girls school so the school needs more boys to attend." She replied.

She nodded in understanding but held back a sigh after hearing the school's former status. "You say that, but you also need a break. Don't you?"

"Yes. His anger is boiling over and it also doesn't help that my parents are making his life miserable." Elena said with a frown.

Rena frowned as well and crossed her arms. "I see. If this keeps up then he may violently lash out."

"He almost did. Not to mention Vince also flooded my parent's house destroying most if not all their belongings. I understand why he did it and I liked seeing their horrified expressions. The anger and frustration from Vince is as clear as day." She commented, crossing her arms.

"I don't get it. Why do you and Vince hate your parents so much? It's almost unbelievable a person would hate their relatives that much." Rena questioned with a confused expression.

Elena smiled wryly while taking another sip of coffee. "Numerous things. But for the record, I don't see them as my parents. The one who raised me was my grandmother and my grandfather after her daughter left me to them so they can take care of me. I genuinely hate them for personal reasons. He feels the same way, which is why I don't care if he screws with them, however I won't let him dirty his hands with them."

(Well, that certainly explains a few things. I think there's more to the story but I don't want to pry further into it. The subject is definitely a sore spot for Elena.) Rena thought as she nodded in understanding.

"They've also done a thing or two to Vince that left him feeling anger and resentment towards them. Mainly my mother and my brother, I don't blame him and I don't him getting even as long as he doesn't cross the line." Elena stated after noticing Rena's confused expression.

"Was it really that bad to were you enjoy seeing Vince's grandparents go through hardships caused by Vince himself?" Rena asked with a bewildered look.

"Yes and I can assure you that if anyone of them died, we wouldn't be feeling any grief." Elena stated in a blunt tone.

A thought then just occurred to Rena after wincing slightly at the harsh comment. "How is it that the electrical appliances and the electricity is still working? Vince should have short circuited everything."

"I asked a friend of mine to make several seals containing that power I was born with... Magic Cancel, I believe it's called." Elena said simply.

Rena blinked owlishly in response to her answer. "Isn't that the extremely rare natural ability to completely nullifies magic?"

"Yeah, that's what my friend called it." She replied with a small shrug.

(Oh wow, I never thought Elena would have such an ability. I read in text books that the last human on record that had that ability was over one thousand years ago. And for it to manifest itself... But that does explain why Vince is never able to hurt Elena with his magic. It must be extremely convenient and tiring for her to stop Vince's outbursts when his powers are out of control.) She thought looking at her in awe.

Elena scratched her cheek in a similar manner to Vince and smiled a little. "Would you keep this a secret Rena? I wouldn't like the extra attention and neither would Vince."

Rena nodded still looking at her with a somewhat surprised expression. (That's understandable. An ability like that would definitely have various factions coming after her and Vince for that ability alone.)

She then raised an eyebrow. "Can Vince use Magic Cancel too?"

"I don't know. I haven't seen Vince show any signs of having it, but he is my son. So there is a chance he can use Magic Cancel." Elena answered with a thoughtful expression.

Rena nodded in agreement at her reasoning and as she noticed the older woman sigh. "Rena, I apologize but I will send Vince to Kuoh Academy to cool off a bit. I don't want him to do anything he'll regret later on."

She nodded sadly, at hearing Vince leave. "I understand Elena, it would do Vince some good to go to and have a change of scenery for a bit."

Noting her hand slightly shaking, Elena gently grabbed her hand and smiled. "But, I'm in no way telling you to break up with Vince or anything Rena. I know despite the differences between you two, I can tell both of you greatly care for each other."

Rena smiled and hugged her. "Thank you, Elena."

Elena nodded and returned the hug before smiling teasingly. "But please do refrain from giving me any grandchildren until Vince is eighteen, I don't think I'm quite ready yet to be a grandma."

"E-Elena!" Rena exclaimed her face turned bright red.

(Flashback: End)

Rena frowned a little as she shook her head. (Better stop myself there. I don't want remember the rest of those memories.)

"Rena-san?" Kasumi asked as she lightly shook her.

"H-Hmm?" She blinked twice as her looked at her.

"Are you okay? You spaced out for a few minutes." Akari questioned in a confused tone.

She lightly smiled and nodded. "Yes, I'm fine."

"I see..." Kasumi spoke, not entirely convinced as Akari shared a similar doubtful expression.

Rena sighed a little and picked up her rapier from the ground. "Kasumi, if you don't mind. I would like to spar with you."

Kasumi as did Akari looked surprised at her request. "Eh? How come?"

"Well, back then Vince always spoke highly of you. Especially when it came to those Dead Or Alive tournaments. I always thought he was overselling you but when I saw you fighting myself, first with those Magicians back then at the conference for the peace treaty and again with those time you spared with Vince. That's why I want to spar with you." Rena spoke as she unsheathed her rapier.

Kasumi nodded and then sweatdropped. "You thought, Vince was overselling me...?"

Akari however smiled mischievously and shrugged in a similar to Vince. "I can see why Rena would think that you're overestimated, Kasumi."

"Very funny Akari, but that also means you're being overestimated as well." Kasumi shot back, her eye slightly twitching in annoyance.

Rena shook her head at their antics but smiled a little. "You two act like sisters."

"We do?" Kasumi and Akari asked in unison.

"Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if someone confused you two for twin sisters." She commented with an amused smile.

"A sister?" Kasumi replied, with a sweatdrop.

Akari however blinked twice and despite muttering low to herself, Kasumi and Rena heard her. "A clone like me? No, I don't think that would ever happen..."

(I see, Akari is thinking about it. Even though she hides it by emulating some of Vince's traits, she still questions herself and doesn't like fighting very much. I wish I could do more for Akari, but I don't know what to do.) Rena thought to herself, sighing a little.

"Shall we get started Rena-san?" Kasumi asked as she unsheathed her wakizashi and went into a stance, gripping her wakizashi in front of her defensively.

Rena nodded and pointed her rapier at Kasumi as she went into a stance, the stance itself portraying her as flexible. "I'm surprised you're okay with it."

"It's only a spar. I don't have any problems with a friendly spar, Rena-san." Kasumi spoke as she quickly closed the distance in and slashed Rena.

"Even so-" Rena cartwheeled out of the way and followed up with a lunge with her rapier. However Kasumi brought her wakizashi behind her back and blocked. She quickly jumped behind Rena and aimed to slash her back. "Don't hold back Kasumi!"

Rena quickly aimed her rapier behind her back at Kasumi. "Fire!"

A ball of fire shot out of the tip of the blade and almost nailed Kasumi if she didn't backflip out of the way. Kasumi however tossed a kunai at her the moment she landed.

Rena immediately backflipped herself and sighed after she landed. (Wow, Kasumi is really good. I better not let my guard down.)

"Very well, Rena-san." Kasumi them ran towards Rena and jumped at her at a surprising speed, Rena barely had any time to react and lunged at her. Kasumi, seeing this brought her wakizashi forward and redirected the blade by parry it while jumping over Rena, getting behind her. Without wasting anytime she got underneath Rena and kicked her as high as possible into the air with her two legs.

"W-Wha?" Rena had no time react as Kasumi jumped on top of Rena's chest and repeatedly stomped on her as she slammed until the ground. Despite being in an intense amount of pain, she pointed her rapier at the ground at the last second. "W-Wind..."

Kasumi got off of Rena and leaped back as she slowly got up, coughing blood. "I can see where Vince got that move from..."

Kasumi blinked twice at seeing how fast Rena got up. Akari however noticed the ground elevated and nodded. "I see. So, Rena used her wind magic to elevate and soften the ground to reduce the impact from the ground."

"Doing that didn't help much against Kasumi's stomping." She replied as she spat out some blood and pointed her rapier at Kasumi.

Kasumi immediately held her wakizashi defensively as a fireball was shot out of her rapier. She quickly dodged to the side as Rena punched the ground. "Blade of earth..."

The ground immediately cracked underneath Kasumi as several jagged rock pillars rose up from the ground. She quickly leaped out of the way, however a rock pillar grazed her arm, making her wince as a small trail of blood went down her arm. Rena however smirked slightly as she whispered and pointed her rapier in the direction where Kasumi was headed. "Water..."

Several torrents of water shot out of the rapier and headed straight for her direction. Seeing no other option. Kasumi sighed and disappeared in a small whirlwind of cherry blossoms, evading the torrents of water that upon contact collided with each other with enough force to make a loud sound.

Kasumi right afterwards appeared behind Rena she launched her into the air with an upwards slash from her wakizashi, slashing her back in the process. She then wrapped her legs around Rena's neck and back flips downwards, smashing her target's skull to the ground.

"Haaaah!" Just right at the last second Rena placed all her strength into her rapier and a large geyser shot out of the ground, elevating both Rena and Kasumi above the ground.

Rena despite cringing in pain from getting her skull slammed into the geyser placed her rapier in a reversed grip and blasted Kasumi at point blank range with a bombardment of rock bullets.

"Aaaaaah!" Kasumi was sent back as she got pelted by the rock bullets. As the geyser soon finished, Rena fell into the ground as Kasumi jumped back and landed on the ground, holding her stomach in pain.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow..." Rena slowly got up from the ground as she nursed her swollen skull. She then grinned a little, despite the pain and turned to Kasumi. "I have enough for one more attack. Want to finish it?"

Despite feeling a sharp pain throughout her body, Kasumi nodded and smiled." Of course, Rena-san."

However Rena pouted a bit much to Kasumi and Akari's surprise. "You know, you can drop the honorific. We are friends, right? Kasumi, Akari?"

Kasumi blinked twice before smiling. "Of course, Rena."

Akari, being further surprised just nodded and also smiled. "Sure thing, Rena."

Rena nodded as Kasumi brought her hands back as a pink aura enveloped them. Her eyes widened as she raised her rapier to wrap herself in a sphere sized wind barrier. "Wind!"

The pink energy gather in her hand as Kasumi brought her hands together and shot the energy out of her hands. "Torn Sky Blast!"

Rena's eyes widened as she quickly channeled all of her remaining energy into her weapon, making the blade glow a distinctive green color. She brought her rapier back and with as much force as she could give Rena thrust her rapier straight into the electric-like energy beam, much to the surprise of Kasumi and Akari. "I'm not done yet!"

She gritted her teeth as the force from the attacks pushed back Rena along with the beam, furthering the distance from each other.

Kasumi frowned and placed more ki into the attack, increasing the size of the beam. To which in turn Rena increased the intensity of the attack by placing more of her energy into her attack, making her slowly move back more.

The struggle between the two attacks continued on as the area beneath the attacks crumbled and collapsed making a large hole in the ground. Both attacks currently even, however Rena hands started shaking to which she noticed and frowned. (I'm really running low on energy. If this keeps up I'll lose but, I'm not giving up just yet!)

With her free hand Rena extended her hand and shot out a variety of earth, water and fire bullets in an attempt to overpower Kasumi's attack.

Akari raised an eyebrow upon not only noticing Rena's erratic breathing but also Kasumi sweating. "Both of them are exhausted. Especially Rena, Kasumi will most likely win this match."

"Haaaaah!" Kasumi released all of her ki into her attack, the beam grew in size and slowly overpowered Rena's attacks.

Rena winced and got on one knee, unable to continue her attack. She brought her rapier up defensively as the beam blasted her directly, destroying her wind barrier in the process.

"Aaaaaagh!" She was sent flying and almost collided with a tree, however Akari teleported behind her and caught Rena, wincing a little due to the momentum of her being flung.

All the while Kasumi got on a knee and breathed heavily, clearly showing signs of pure fatigue.

Akari sighed a bit as she placed Rena down and noting her body being badly bruised with her coughing up blood. "You're really tough to be able to come out like that even with that wind barrier. Hold on a second."

She bent down and placed a hand on Rena's chest. Ki poured out from Akari and transferred over to Rena, enveloping her body in a small circle of pure ki.

Within mere moments the injuries from Rena body disappeared, after being healed up completely Akari sighed a bit. "I'm finished."

Rena got up slowly and blinked. "You weren't kidding when you said you have all of Kasumi's abilities."

"It does come in handy for situations like this. I was gathering my ki incase something like this happened." Akari commented with a small smile.

She then tried to walk and winced. "Ouch, my body..."

"Sorry, I can only heal injuries. I can't help with getting rid of the pain." Akari replied sighing a little.

"It's fine, Akari. I'll go take some pain pills and take it easy." Rena commented, waving off the apology.

Kasumi smiled a bit as she walked to them tiredly, albeit with a few noticable injuries. "That really was a tough sparring match, Rena. Thank you."

"I should be thanking you Kasumi, I learned quite a bit and I still have a long way to go." Rena replied with a sheepish smile.

"Stay still Kasumi, I have enough ki to heal your injuries." Akari spoke as she placed her hand on her chest.

The ki transferred over as she nodded. "Thank you Akari, I feel better now."

Akari sighed a bit. "That's the last of my ki for now."

Rena sheathed her weapon and crossed her arms. "Hmm..."

Kasumi then smiled a little in response to her pose. "That's the same thing Vince does when he's thinking."

"Well, Vince did get habit from me after we spent so much time together." Rena admitted with a sheepish smile.

"Wow, and I thought you got that from Vince." Akari commented with a slightly surprised look.

"So what will you do now Rena?" Kasumi asked curiously.

"Well, first and foremost I'm going to take a nice bath to get my body some rest. It's really sore." Rena answered, to which Kasumi looked apologetic.

She noticed this and sighed. "I don't mind the rough spar Kasumi. I train my body everyday to this point anyway. You have nothing to feel sorry for."

"But why do you train your body to this existent everyday? That can't be good for your health." Kasumi asked, sounding concerned.

Rena sighed a little before turning around. "I do it for the sake of my sister."

"Your sister? You mean the one that was in the coma?" Akari asked raising an eyebrow.

"...Yes. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go." Rena stated as she left with a notiable change in her demeanor.

Akari sighed a little as she turned to Kasumi. "It's most likely a sore subject for her."

"I agree. However, I can't help but feel worried for Rena." Kasumi said sighing a bit.

xXxXxXxXxX

"Aaaaaah... Refreshing." Rena spoke as she entered her bath, completely undressed, revealing her well endowed figure.

She sighed as she lied further down in the bath with a thoughtful expression. (That reminds me. I'll have to call Chloe later to check up on her. I also have to train more on my magic later after checking how Vince is. Geez, I really can't believe I let the rest of my elemental magic get this weak.)

Rena closed her eyes and sighed as her mind slowly began to drift...

(Flashback)

Rena and Vince stood at an empty plaza several blocks down Vince's house. She sighed a little as she noticed his stoic expression. (I don't really want to do break up with him. But, I have to. He has to go before he does something crazy. The emotional trauma from Chloe's coma and the family from his mother's side is starting to stagnate him. Vince has to cut off any remaining ties so he can leave with a fresh start.)

"Good grief. What did you call me here for Rena?" Vince asked as he leaned against a wall.

She took a deep breath and sighed. "Vince, I'm well aware what's been happening around you. I know you don't want to go to Kuoh because of Chloe and I. Don't be worry, we'll be fine. Just leave it to my father, he has a better chance of searching for a cure because of his connections, as for us... I want to break up."

"Did she put you up to this?" Vince asked, his eyes narrowing immediately.

Rena shook her head. "No. Elena told me not to break up with you. However, I know you're stubborn and you'd feel guilty about going so far away. So, I'm cutting off this relation so you have no obligations."

Vince winced a little as he curled up his hands into a fist. "...Alright. But, tell me. Is there someone else you want to see? Or is it because I'm too young or I'm too immature for you?"

She looked appalled as she yelled at him. "Of course not! Whatever the hell gave you that idea?!"

He immediately was nearly taken aback at her outburst, Rena's expression softened as she placed her hands on her chest and smiled. "We've had our differences and didn't always see eye to eye. But even if you didn't want to have it known publicly. I know you've always been there for me. You never once asked me to do something I didn't like and unlike the other guys, you never ogled my body unless I said it was okay. You're a really good boyfriend and I think it'll be extremely hard to start dating another guy."

"But. After what we've been through and everything. I don't want to break up with you just like that. Even when we had our arguments, you saw me for me and never once treated me like a kid. You showed me so many things and expanded my horizons. You always saw me as your equal, you were also so kind to me too. More than someone like me ever deserved." Vince spoke looking the other way, trying to hide the tears welling up in his eyes.

"G-Geez..." Rena wiped a small tear from her eye as she tried to hide her tears. "Saying things like that. You're making this harder for me, Vince."

She then clasped her hands and smiled a little. "Then. How about this Vince? After you finish your semesters for your first year in high school if you want to come back, or if you decide graduate high school there in Japan. If you're still single or if you still want to be with me, then let's meet up with each other and go out on a date."

Vince's eyes widened as he turned to her. "Really? W-What about you?"

Rena forced a smile as she looked at him. "Like I said earlier Vince-" She leaned in and kissed him on the lips. Staying there for a few moments before she pulled away with a tear sliding down her cheek. "It'll be extremely hard to start dating another guy when I had a really great boyfriend."

Rena quickly left the plaza with tears in her eyes as Vince stood there, shocked. He placed his hand over his face to cover his face. However the tears slipped through his fingers. After standing there for a few minutes to regain his composure. Vince slowly walked home, his eyes red from the crying and his face melancholy.

However, unbeknownst to him. Rena was behind was watching from a distance, hiding her presence with Senjutsu. After seeing him leave she stopped using the ability, her disguise no longer in place. Her eyes red, just like his with tears sliding down her cheeks. (I-I'm sorry Vince, I really hope you can forgive me one day. And I really hope, this will help you in the long run.)

Not caring if anyone saw her, Rena ran home in the opposite direction where Vince went to her tears seemingly endless.

(End Flashback)

Rena gasped as she immediately got up from the bathtub. She frowned a bit as she felt her cheeks warm. Checking, she noticed tears falling from her face. However she shook her head as she turned on the shower for a moment to splash her face with cold water, forcing her emotions from escalating any further.

(I wonder if Vince remembered our agreement? Probably not, since he's been through so much. He was supposed to regain his bearings and get better, but now he's involved with the Three Factions and with the Khaos Brigade trying to kidnap him. At least Vince gained some friends in Kuoh and I can't lament over what happened in the past I don't have time for that... But I'm glad things turned out for the better.) Rena thought to herself as she turned off the shower head.

She got up from the bathtub, her body dripping wet as it showed her large breasts and well toned figure. Rena grabbed a towel and dried herself with it before wrapping her body around it. Looking at the mirror she fixed her long blonde hair and left the bathroom. But not before a small grin appeared on her face after she noticed her chest. (It was really funny seeing Akeno and Rias' react sourly when Vince told them my three sizes. I suppose they didn't except me to be bigger than them. Then again, not too many women have a natural three sizes of one-hundred and five, fifty-nine and eighty-nine.)

Still grinning from the memory Rena went to her bed and took off her towel, grabbing her clothes as well. While putting her clothes on, she a thought came to her mind as placed her towel to the side. (Rias and her family has been great letting me stay here. I suppose I don't mind answering some questions about Vince if she asks.)

After putting her clothes on, she hanged her bathroom towel that she placed to the side to let it dry. Looking at herself in the mirror, she wore a black buttoned blouse with a small midriff that emphasized her large chest and her well toned stomach due to said midriff, a pair of dark blue jeans that showed her wide hips and developed ass and a pair of black gym shoes. She giggled a little as a thought occurred to her. (I'm pretty sure this will get Vince's attention. I bet Rias or Akeno would try to take Vince to a bedroom if they found out he has a very healthy appetite. I'm sure Kasumi already found out and by extension Akari if she told her anything.)

Her eyes then trailed off to the dresser next to her bed, noticing a cellphone her eyes slightly widened from a realization as she suddenly went to the cellphone and grabbed it. (Crap, I forgot to Chloe. I need to check up on her.)

Sitting down on the comfy bed she dialed the number as she heard the ringing tone. After a few moments a voice spoke up from the other line. "Hello?"

"Chloe? This is Rena, how are you doing?" She asked.

Chloe's lips curled up into a smile at hearing her sister's voice. "Rena, it's so nice to hear from you. How are you doing?"

"I'm doing well. Sorry for not calling earlier, I got to immersed in my training." Rena said sadly.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that Rena. Besides, you call everyday so it's not like we haven't spoken in a while." She replied, waving it off.

"Still..."

"It's fine, Rena. So how's training in the Underworld doing?" Chloe asked curiously.

"It's a bit harsh, I'm trying to adjust to using Earth, Water and Fire magic again. But it's so difficult. I thought I would at least have a good grasp on water magic since I see Vince use it everyday." She replied pouting a little.

"Everyone has a different learning curve Rena. That and Vince's variation of doing magic is not commonly used in today's practices. Element Brand is a common Sacred Gear that is usually seen as a Twice Critical's for magicians due to it's basic ability of only letting the user use magic they are naturally aligned with. Even with all that, using magic for creating constructs and as an extension of one's self is possible after years of training, which Vince did." Chloe replied with a contemplative expression.

"I know but, it's still a bit annoying that I have start from the ground up again. I'm still surprised that Vince has already gone through that type of training with no magicians around before we came along." Rena commented.

Chloe wrote down more notes as she paused for a few moments. "That would be due to the meditation training Vince has received from in the past by Elena's friend, Lady Ayame. While it's not the same, keeping a calm mind and maintaining control is a key part of training. In addition to that, Lady Gabriel and Lady Shura has also trained Vince a few months after Lady Ayame left to control his Sacred Gear. So it's certainly possible that they've done some research before training Vince."

"That certainly makes sense." Rena said, nodding in understanding.

"I am curious though. Why did your magic in your other elements stagnate so much? Did something happen?" Chloe asked curiously.

Rena sighed a bit as she looked down. "Well, I felt sad and guilty after you went into a coma so I just focused more on my wind and light magic along with my skills with the sword to be more like you, Chloe."

She sighed sadly as she shook her head. "Rena, you don't have to emulate me. Please don't do that again and be yourself."

"I understand Chloe. I promise I'll work hard so my magic can be as strong as it used to be- no, that isn't right. I'll surpass my former strength from back then." She said with a determined look.

Chloe giggled and nodded. "There we go, that's what I wanted to hear."

Rena smiled as she lied down on her bed. "So, how's physical therapy Chloe?"

"It's going great. At my pace, I'll be out soon and I can start getting back to training." Chloe stated, smiling.

"Wait, so soon? Shouldn't you take it easy? It hasn't even been a month!" Rena exclaimed with a look of disbelief.

"I want to get back on my feet as soon as possible Rena. Besides, if our positions were reversed you would have done the same thing..." She replied pouting a little.

"Alright, but wait..." A look of suspicion appeared on her face. "How exactly did you recover so fast Chloe?"

Chloe sighed a little and looked up at the ceiling. "I believe it's a genetic trait of mine. Ever since I was young, I've always had a high amount of endurance and strength. Not only that, I have a faster recovery rate. Dad thinks that my traits are on par with an angel or devil, if said devil hasn't been hit with anything holy-related of course."

Rena blinked owlishly. "That's the first I ever heard of that. Then again, it does make sense especially that time where I saw you lift father's plasma screen tv with no effort. Or that heavy claymore I saw you swinging with one arm when we were younger."

Chloe shuddered at the last part. "Please don't mention that."

"Sorry." Rena sighed a bit as she looked up at the ceiling. (I should be more careful with what I say. Chloe still has a fear of using swords. The only way she could use a sword is if she forces herself, or if her mind shuts down while she practices with a sword. She's so exhausted afterwards that she falls asleep real fast, thinking about it back then I feel pretty bad about asking Chloe to spar with me so much with her sword. Maybe one of these days I can find out why Chloe has a fear of swords so I can help her overcome it.)

"Rena?"

"...Yes, Chloe?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"Are you okay? You spaced out there for a minute." Chloe questioned with a hint of worry in her tone.

Rena nodded albeit, a bit with a sheepish smile. "Yeah, I'm okay. Sorry about that, so what were you asking?"

She smiled a bit in response. "I asked if you received the package I sent you."

"Yes, but I haven't had a chance to open it yet. Why?" She asked with a curious expression.

"It's something that I made for you and Vince. I hope you two like it." Chloe replied with a smile.

Rena quickly opened a luggage of hers and took out a small box. Without a moment's notice she extended her hand and sliced open the tape with a small wind blade that came from her palms, all while having her cellphone close to her. "I just opened it Chloe."

Looking inside the box, her eyes lit up at seeing an elegant rapier that's colored silver-white with the hilt being a slightly darker grey color. "W-Wow! It looks beautiful thank you so much Chloe."

Chloe beamed at hearing her sister's surprised and happy tone over the phone. "I'm glad you like it Rena. But I didn't make the rapier, mom handed the forging. I only helped by creating the magic formula."

(I'll need to call mom later and thank her. She really went all out.) Rena thought, smiling.

"I just followed the previous magic formula used on the other rapier and made some adjustments to make the this rapier more of a conduit for your elemental magic and your senjutsu if you decide to use it." Chloe explained simply.

"Wow, isn't that an advance formula to follow?" She asked, looking slightly surprised.

Chloe nodded as she twirled her pen in between her fingers. "It is, but I got the hang of it after I studied it a few times."

"Thanks a lot, Chloe." Rena smiled and examined the rapier for a few moments before raising an eyebrow. "Is it me or does the blade look more sharper?"

"It is. Mom made sure to make the blade sharper. She wasn't too pleased about finding out what happened to you during that treaty with the Three Factions." Chloe said with a sheepish look.

"Yikes."

"Agreed, mom is still upset at the danger you and Vince went through thus far. By the way has Vince been getting any sleep lately?" Chloe asked, prompting Rena to raise an eyebrow.

"What happened?"

"I'm kind of curious, he slipped out that he's training is speeding up since he learned how to practice his abilities in his subconscious." She answered.

Rena raised an eyebrow before a look of realization appeared on her face. "I see, so that's why he's been doing that."

"Can I have some context, Rena?" Chloe replied with a sheepish smile.

"Sorry, sis. You see, Vince has been sleeping in a lot lately or he's been taking a large cup of coffee whenever he wakes up and that has been worrying me as to why. I tried asking him but Vince told me not to worry." Rena stated, adding context to her earlier statement.

"That is understandable, Vince would have a lot of mental fatigue doing that and in addition to any other forms of training he does when he's not doing schoolwork or anything else." Chloe added in.

"Agreed. I'll have to tell Vince to go easy on doing that. He gets really grouchy in the morning or he just falls asleep on my lap." Rena replied.

"Oh? I'd take it that you enjoy feeling Vince's warmth on you, Rena?" Chloe asked with a teasing smile.

"Well yes, Vince's warmth is very soothing and he just looks so cute sleeping- Hey!" Rena shouted with a crimson blush on her face.

Chloe giggled and just smiled. "I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. But you did say it, not me."

Rena said nothing but pouted and grumbled a little, with Chloe still smiling. "By the way Rena..."

"Yes, Chloe...?" She replied trailing off.

She held a hand over her mouth to stop herself from giggling profusely. "Dad, told me what happened over here. Be sure to use protection and try not to use Senjutsu with Vince, okay? I heard you worn down sixty percent of the muscles in his body and strained his groin. Not only that I heard that Vince made you walk with a noticeable limp as well."

Rena turned red from embarrassment as she huffed. "T-That idiot! He shouldn't be broadcasting things like that!"

"I also heard from dad that during that week of roughhousing, the half of the neighborhood heard the two of you." Chloe said as she turned away from her phone to prevent Rena from hearing her laughing.

"W-What!?" She exclaimed as her face now resembled a tomato. "Mother will be hearing about this!"

Chloe smiled as she giggled a little at her sister's reaction. "Rena, can you pass Vince a message for me?"

"What's the message?" Rena asked curiously, the question grabbing her attention.

"Tell Vince, that I love him." She replied without skipping a beat.

Rena's eyes slightly widened before she closed them with a smile. "Of course. I should have guessed you didn't grow out of that habit. But sister is it a platonic love or a romantic love?"

Chloe smile brightened more as twirled a pen in her hands that she kept nearby. "Well, I just love Vince, Rena. Tell me, do you love Vince, too?"

Her eyes immediately shot up as a large blush appeared on her face. "L-Love?! Umm... A-Anyway, I have to go Chloe. Take care, okay?"

"You too. I'll talk to you later." Chloe placed her pen down on a table as they both cut the line. She placed the phone away and closed her eyes with a smile. "A lot has definitely changed since I awakened. I'm glad."

xXxXxXxXxX

Rena stopped walking and saw Vince training, a smile came on her face that was immediately replaced with a look of surprise after seeing the intensity of his training. (This is how Vince used to train when Lady Gabriel and Shura oversaw his training...?)

Shura smirked a bit as she repeatedly sent projectiles made of air slices at Vince with her demon sword at an astounding speed that most would find difficult to follow. "Not bad Vince, you finally gained some skill and it only took a few life or death situations to do it! But you still suck controlling Arondight."

Vince's eye twitched slightly as he ducked, rolled and slided underneath each projectile, while knocking an air slice with Arondight. "Tch, drunken back alley doctor."

(They're fast, but I'm surprised that Vince can see those air slices, seeing wind projectiles are usually difficult. Though, that does explain why he's always been able to dodge those types of attacks I send at him during our spars. And there's the demonic aura Arondight radiates whenever he holds it. I'm glad that it doesn't impede his rational thinking but it really shows how crude and blunt Vince can be as a person since it essentially removes his restraints. It can be surprising to hear what he can say.) Rena thought watching the spar.

A tickmark appeared above her head as she glared at him. "What the hell did you call me Vince?!"

"What? Did you get drunk enough to screw with your hearing?" Vince asked as he charged in and swung the blade at her.

"Ya got guts, but you still got more work to do, if ya think you can talk to me like that." Shura ducked the swing and lunged at him with her blade pointed at him.

"Oh dear..." Gabriel muttered as she shook her head in worry.

Vince jumped back to gain some distance while swinging his sword upwards to knock the tip of the blade away from him.

"Yer wide open!" Shura however smirked and took the opportunity to grip her demon sword and send an air slice at his stomach.

He frowned and quickly brought the down the sword to block it and while Vince succeeded, the force of the attack made him skid a bit. But to her surprise, raised Arondight up for a moment and brought it down horizontally, sending out a wave of demonic energy from the blade that sliced right through her attack and headed right for her.

Shura smirked a little as she jumped out of the way and raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Looks like someone was payin' attention to how I fight."

"Don't think I'm done yet!" Vince exclaimed as he quickly closed in the gap between him and Shura using his enhanced speed, via Arondight.

He brought his sword up, doing a rising slash to which Shura blocked with her demon sword by bringing it up. However much to her ire, Vince used the opportunity to jump on her blade and used it as a footstool to follow up with an immediate downward stab.

Shura immediately jumped out of the way, a few moments before he landed and the blade plunged right through the ground. She looked at him with an annoyed look. "Sheesh, using my blade as a footstool and trying to shish kabob me? You're really out to gut me, aren't ya?"

A small smirk graced his face as Arondight glowed an eerie dark purple color filled with demonic energy as he brought the demon-sword back. "Not gonna lie, it's cathartic as hell trying to get you. Especially due to your training regiments from back then."

Shura's eye twitched at the statement as Rena blinked owlishly. (I haven't seen Vince like this before. She really must have given him a rough time. Tch, it's unintentional but he's out for blood.)

Despite Gabriel's worried expression, Vince flung the blade as hard as he could at Shura, to which she got out of the way. However to her Rena's surprise and Shura's dismay the blade came whirling back to him at a dangerous speed that forced Shura to bring her demon-sword to the left of her rib cage to block the blade to avoid getting slashed.

"Damn. That has some power behind it." Shura spoke as she felt the vibrations from the blade while slightly wincing.

Catching the blade and without any warning Vince ferociously lunged at Shura with the tip of Arondight filled with condensed demonic energy concentrated at the tip. She quickly jumped back and narrowly avoided getting stabbed by just a few centimeters.

However not being finished Vince smirked slightly widened as he repeatedly thrust his blade at Shura in a quick succession with a speed fast enough to be seen as a blur by most people. "Take this!"

"Tch." Shura grunted in pain as she dodged or blocked the incoming thrusts with her demon-sword.

Seeing an opening in his attacks Shura knocked Vince way by slamming the blunt side of her sword in his stomach, making him wince a bit and giving her a chance to jump back. "Ow."

"Not bad Vince, but let's see you handle this!" Not wasting a chance Shura sent multiple air slices from her demon-sword at him in a rapid succession.

"Haaaah..." Vince charged up Arondight's demonic power, making it glow as he lunged towards Shura with the blade in front, destroying the air slices as he swung Arondight, releasing a short burst of demonic energy from the blade. "Go down!"

Shura saw this and dodged but, Vince swung low and knocked her down by slamming the blunt side of Arondight on her feet.

"Damn!"

Vince smirked as he slowly brought Arondight up from the ground and repeatedly slam Arondight against her demon-sword as she blocked his attacks. "I guess, I'm the first guy to be on top huh, Shura?"

Shura gritted her teeth as her eye twitched. "Oh that's real classy, Vince!"

Rena blushed a little and crossed her arms. (That reminds me of what Vince did with me a few nights ago. I definitely wouldn't mind hearing him talk like this more often. It is a turn-on hearing him speak like this. Honestly, I think Arondight is a blessing in disguise since it's letting me see this rare side of Vince.)

Looking at the fight, Rena blinked owlishly as she just noticed that Shura got out of Vince's attack and forced him on the defensive.

Shura smirked, striking him with the back of the blade, being pushed back by a blast of air as a result. "Rattle."

"Huh?" Vince noticed the demonic aura around himself and Arondight gone, leaving him confused and slightly out of breath. She then lunged in and thrust her blade at him.

Seeing the sword headed right for him, Vince ducked underneath the blade just in the nick of time and tried to slash her with Arondight. But Shura saw this easily and knocked Arondight away from his hands by slashing it away with her sword. But just as this happened Vince rolled out of the way.

"Nice try, but that ain't happenin' Vince!" Shura said with a smirk as she kicked in the stomach, with enough force to send him rolling.

Vince grunted in pain, but ignored it and instead used the momentum of the kick to roll faster, stopping just after getting the sword. Shura clicked her tongue in annoyance and sent several air slices at him.

He grabbed the blade and rolled out of the way and right afterwards followed up with several quick slashes to destroy the remaining air slices, despite looking ragged and breathing heavily.

Shura smirked and closed in the distance rather quickly as she then pointed her sword at him, an inch away from his chest. "Looks like I win, Vince."

"No surprise there." Vince replied with a small shrug.

Shura raised an eyebrow. "You were expecting to lose?"

"Lose? Maybe. But I wasn't expecting to win against you since you are my teacher." He answered with a small smirk.

This made her smirk in response. "Oh? About time ya saw me as yer teacher. Still, no hidden water or lightning attacks?"

Vince however rolled his eyes. "It'd look bad on your part if you to lost against me. Besides, Arondight surpresses my Sacred Gears, with the exception of using Angel/Devil first and then taking out the sword."

"That explains why ya didn't use yer Sacred Gears. It sucks but at least yer higher compatibility with the blade and stubbornness is the only thing keepin' ya from turning into a mindless berserker." Shura replied nonchalantly.

"I am noticing that it's getting harder to keep Arondight in control and at this point when I'm holding Arondight, I really don't give a damn what I say or do anymore." Vince commented.

Shura let out a low whistle. "Then we got a lot to work on."

"Yeah, but I want to indulge a little in Arondight." He replied with a small smirk.

"Seriously? Well, I don't mind as long as you don't go overboard. Like pissing off the Devils that forced ya into that marriage contract with the Gremory heiress." Shura said, taking out a beer from her seal and taking a sip.

Rena however looked at everything, even more surprised. (She's defintely good. I can see why Shura is Vince's teacher. She definitely outmatched him.)

Vince crossed his arms as his lips curled up into a malicious smirk. "I defintely wouldn't mind beating them with an inch of their lives.

Shura let out a low whistle. "Dark. I know you hate them to high hell and all, but ya might want to tone it down a bit. Doin' that's gonna cause some problems for ya later, and I ain't only talking about Arondight.

"Please Vince, reconsider this. This is something that you shouldn't be doing, it isn't right." Gabriel exclaimed with a worried expression.

"It's alright. I'm not going to do that... Besides, it's satisfying enough that I inherted the Valefor's assists, it's pretty much rubbing their faces in it. More so, that the alliance they have in mind won't go their way." Vince spoke as he moved his neck, making a large popping sound as a result.

"Why am I not surprised?" Shura deadpanned.

Rena walked towards the battlefield and smiled. "That was a magnificent sparring match."

Gabriel, Shura and Vince turned to the owner of the voice and saw Rena. A small blush immediately appeared across his cheeks as he stared at her for a few moments, noting her outfit that showed off her well developed curves and large bust.

The other three noticed and Gabriel looked confused while Rena giggled and Shura smirked. "Didn't think you'd like Vince checkin' ya out. Or that Vince could even do that."

Vince heard this and snapped out of his small trance while grumbling a little. Rena however smiled. "I hope you don't mind but I saw the sparing match. It was very impressive, I can see that you're definitely very skilled, Lady Shura."

"Thanks. And call me Shura. None of that honorific crap." Shura said bluntly as she took a sip of a beer that she got out from her tattoo.

"Oh that reminds me Vince. There was progress in the book you gave me about Arondight, my brother also had a few people investigate and it turns out to be accurate to what book stated." Gabriel stated, gaining his attention.

"That far in? I haven't even gotten that far in. What turned out to be accurate?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"About Arondight's abilities before it's detrimental ability was created. Arondight is the counterpart of true Excalibur and in which in turn also means it has, it's abilities. However due to it's time being sealed away, Arondight's power is severely weakened and cannot use all of it's abilities as a result. Well, not only that but it's also a great magic conductor." Gabriel answered with a smile.

Vince frowned while grabbing Arondight and looked at her. "Hold it! You mean to tell me that this blade despite it being weaker, could have naturally conducted my magic attacks and that it was hindering me on purpose while I was going through life threatening battles?"

"Yes, it would appear so." Gabriel stated, unaware of his growing killing intent.

Rena promptly took a step back as she felt a large amount of killing intent that erupted from him. The atmosphere immediately tensed up as she saw him walking several feet away from them without saying anything. (Not good. I haven't Vince this furious in a while. I can't really blame him his reasoning for being this furious though.)

"You could really choke up a person with this amount of killing intent." Shura said letting out a low whistle.

A dark aura appeared from Arondight and enveloped Vince. But to the surprise of everyone minus Shura that instead smirked. Vince glared furiously at the blade and gripped it tightly. "As if I would let you."

To further emphasized his point he took out a vial of holy water from his pocket and dumped it on the demonic blade with no mercy. The dark aura enveloping Vince disappeared as he planted the sword firmly in the ground with a well aimed axe kick to it's pommel, uncaring that the blade was weakened a considerable amount as a result.

What does Vince intend to do?" Gabriel asked, looking a bit worried at Vince's anger.

"Most likely guess would be, destroy it." Rena said simply, surprising her a bit.

Seeing Vince take a couple of steps away from Arondight, Shura raised an eyebrow. "Damn, and his killing intent has changed a bit. Kinda thought it would go down a little after letting go of Arondight."

"Well, Vince is usually calm and composed but he does have his breaking point and this is it." Rena replied.

"I can tell. The kid shows no mercy when he's this pissed." Shura commented.

(I just hope Vince doesn't go overboard with his Sacred Gear. I'm sure Gabriel and Shura can take care of themselves form any potential crossfire, but I should be on guard just incase.) She thought, frowning a bit.

To Rena's surprise and Gabriel's, Vince's body erupted in a fiery aura that was easily identified as his Spirtual Fire. Immediately the area's temperature rose up considerably as the fiery aura intensified greatly.

Rena's eyes narrowed as she closely examined his movements. (It's hard to tell if Vince is using his Spiritual Fire on purpose or not. I'd say it's instinctive given how furious he is at the moment. I hope he doesn't damage himself in the process not only is it very powerful he could accidently damage his own soul with it.)

"Ngrrrhhhaaaa!" Vince extended his right arm in front of him as he jumped several feet into the air, not a moment later the aura traveled up from his body and formed into a massive fire ball the size of a meteor in front of his arm, a magic circle made up of the same fire appeared for just a moment as the meteor sized fire ball shot out from his arm.

"Die!"

To which at this point the demonic blade enveloped itself in it's own demonic aura, sensing the danger from it's wielder. Upon contact the fire ball caused an enormous explosion that blew everything up, to which right afterwards it then erupted into a massive fiery tornado, burning everything in sight, including Arondight.

Rena, Shura and Gabriel quickly went back a safe distance from the explosion and now fiery tornado.

"Aaaaarugh!" Vince on the other hand was blown back by the force of the attack and would have landed on his back if Gabriel did not catch him in the nick of time.

"Vince!" Rena quickly ran towards him as Gabriel gently placed him down.

Shura watched as the fiery tornado disappeared and let out of low whistle as she saw a massive creator where the attack was aimed at, the ground itself let out of steam as it was burned to as a result. "Damn."

"Vince are you okay?" Gabriel asked as she saw his body twitching for a moment.

Rena's eyes widened as she saw not only his clothes slightly burned but his left arm suffering through third degree burns. She quickly took a vial of elixir out of her pocket and opened it. "Vince, what the hell were you thinking?!"

Vince coughed up a bit as he winced in pain. "I was furious, but it was totally worth it."

Rena's eye twitched at his recklessness as she fed him the vial. Within a moment later his wounds recovered quickly as she swatted him upside the head. "Thanks

"Ow. I think that hurted more than the explosion and the third degree burn." Vince replied rubbing his head with his eye slightly twitching from her action.

"Good. Don't worry me like that again." She said breathing a sigh of relief.

"No promises." He said smoothly, causing her hand to twitch.

"But please Vince, no more reckless actions like that." Gabriel said, now hugging him.

Rena's eye twitched at this and crossed her arms. (I should have seen that one coming.)

Vince however replied to her with a nonchalant shrug, causing the Seraph to pout a little, knowing what he meant by this. "I swear you like worrying me like this, Vince."

"It does amuse me a bit getting different reactions out of you." He commented as he poked her halo, which made Gabriel's pout even more.

Rena blinked owlishly at this exchange as Shura came up to them and smirked a little. "Seriously, you two should get a room at this point."

"A room, what for?" Gabriel asked curiously.

Noting the smirk Vince shrugged. "Probably to indulge in my lust of the female flesh. In your case it would be making a baby with you, which would also make Micheal an uncle."

Gabriel blushed brightly and stammered a bit after a few moments of silence as Shura laughed a bit. "That never gets old."

Rena despite frowning a little, cracked a smile as she giggled. (I have to admit, despite it being mean it is amusing to see Lady Gabriel's stammering and blushing like that.)

"No need to be so formal, you have seen me naked before Gabriel." Vince admitted with a knowing smirk.

At this point Gabriel's blush brightened even further as she remained and looked down.

"What?/huh?" Rena and Shura asked respectively.

"Oh, well one time I came out of the shower in the Valefor manor, I forgot my towel, and went into my bedroom at the same time Gabriel came in." Vince explained with a shrug.

"Wait, did you two...?" Rena asked, frowning a little.

"Gabriel hasn't fell, so the answer is pretty obvious Rena." He deadpanned, making her blush in embarassment.

"How did ya avoid getting it on with Gabriel? It is obvious that ya like girls with Rena and your harem is anything to go by." Shura commented.

Vince's eye twitched at this. "I don't have a harem, as for how-" He shrugged and got up. "I wanted to finish a level I was playing with my video game."

Shura and Rena looked at him in disbelief. Rena then palmed her face and shook her head a few moments later. (I don't know whether I should be worried or relieved!)

Without a moment's notice Vince ran up to the crater, to his surprise he and Rena's who followed suite they noticed a several small flames remained around the crater while the crater itself was covered in mist. Going inside of the crater the two skidded down to the center and saw Arondight there, planted into ground and remained intact despite the steam it left off.

Vince frowned and was about to attack again before being stopped by Rena. "Wait Vince, look."

He paused for a moment and raised an eyebrow. "What the hell? I sense holy and demonic energy from it."

Rena raised an eyebrow as well before a look of realization hit her. "I see! So that's why."

"Why what?"

"Remember Vince, your Spiritual Fire also purifies and Arondight was a holy sword before Lancelot corrupted it." Rena explained.

She saw his eyes widened as he quickly went to the sword and examined it. "If that's the case than why it means I only purified half of it. But why? I placed all my energy in that attack."

"It's probably because of Arondight being a demonic sword for so long. Well that and God along with the orignal Maou are dead so it's more likely to be a holy-demonic sword."

Vince shook his head and sighed. "Why am I not surprised?"

He placed his hand on the handle as Rena blinked twice. "Are you positive about that? Arondight wouldn't be forgetting that attack. It could be hell you're walking into."

"It's fine. I want to know, besides... Eleven years of my life were already hell. What difference does something like this make?" Vince asked her.

Rena winced considerably, knowing what he meant by this. "Vince..."

Without a word, Vince pulled Arondight from the middle of the crater. Upon doing so the blade radiated a powerful holy demonic energy. Making him wince a little from the force of the power before gritted his teeth and swung the blade as the energy around it faded. "Now then, let's see..."

Rena took a few steps back, while looking at Arondight's appearance while the sword appearance remained unchanged, a pitch black color on the middle of the blade while on the outer portion it was dark blue with a small chain wrapped around the guard of the sword. It also radiated a holy demonic energy as opposed to earlier when it was a demonic sword.

"Water!" The sword then transformed into a cannon version of Arondight to her further surprise.

A water ball shot out of Arondight as it exploded violently into air. The result caused a heavy shower of rain to pour over their heads as the rain splashed the area outside of the crater and took out the remaining fires.

Rena smiled as he placed Arondight down and sighed. "It looks like Arondight doesn't hinder you anymore Vince."

"Yeah. I can also use one of Arondight's abilities." Vince had Arondight form back into it's original form and sighed a little.

"Still, to think that Arondight's abilities are parallel to Excalibur's abilities..." Rena stated as she looked at the blade.

"They are counterparts of each other. It shouldn't come out as a surprise that they're abilities are very close." Vince answered as he got out of the crater with Rena.

"True."

The two stopped walking and notices Gabriel and Shura looking at them. "So, what happened? And why do ya have Arondight now?"

After the two explained what just happened to Shura and Gabriel their eyes widened. Shura then smirked as Gabriel smiled. "This is great news, I'll have to tell brother as soon as possible."

"Yeah, Arondight probably isn't going ta be at full power any time soon, but at least it won't be a pain in the ass anymore." Shura commented.

"Oh that reminds me so, what happened Rena?" Vince asked raising an eyebrow.

"Huh?" She looked confused as he turned to her.

"Just wondering why you stopped by, because of your training." He replied as he dismissed Arondight, now in a small burst of holy demonic energy.

"Oh, nothing really. I just wanted to come and get you to spend some time together. I also talked with Chloe and she asked me to pass a message to you." Rena commented with a small smile.

"Really? What is it?" He asked curiously.

"Chloe wanted me to tell you, that she loves you." Rena said.

A sudden silence filled the atmosphere as Shura stopped drinking and paused to register what she said while Gabriel covered her hands and gasped in shock. Vince on the other hand, immediately froze, his body stiffened as his face was covered with a large blush.

(It is pretty funny seeing Vince like this, but I need to speed things up a bit. I don't really like acting similar to how I do when I'm under the influence of Senjutsu especially in public, but this is taking too long and I have an itch only Vince can scratch and I defintely need it after this whole stressful event.) Rena thought, holding back a mischievous smile.

"Love eh, wasn't expecting somethin' like that. Hell, even Gabriel's stunned." Shura replied, chuckling a little.

"Oh Vince..." Rena let out in a sing song tone.

Vince blinked twice as she smiled. "Let's go find a bedroom together."

He looked at her with a bewildered expression. "Huh...?"

"Oh don't play dumb Vince, you know what I'm talking about, you naughty boy! Once you get going with that thick sword of yours, you just can't help yourself!" She commented with a lewd expression appearing on her face.

Shura snorted as Gabriel still looked at both Vince and now Rena in stunned silence. Vince himself however, looked at her with a surprised expression. "W-What the hell Rena?!"

Rena giggled and seductively bit the tip of her fingernail. "I'm ready go too Vince. All you have to do is wish for it and we'll both get going and I'll make it happen the moment we close that bedroom door. I'm the only one who can scratch that itch, Vince. I'm your girl."

"Rena..." He trailed off, with a large blush appearing on his face.

"When we get together, it's gonna be fireworks... We're gonna destroy eve-ry-thing, in the bedroom. The bed, sofa, dresser and even the closet and bathroom. When we're finished everything is going to have to be scrubbed down hard or burned...! You know you wanna, Vince..." Rena trailed seductively, bending down slightly to give him a better view of her large breasts.

Vince's eye twitched violently as he turned the other way to avoid Shura from noticing him pitch a tent, unfortunately that happened to be the direction where Gabriel is facing at. Her blush deepened after realizing the implications after a few moments. "D-Dammit, Rena."

Rena licked her lips as she saw his groin and smiled. "Come on, Vince... These arms were made to hold you..."

Vince sighed as he clenched his hand into a fist. "You know what? Screw it."

He scooped her up underneath with his arm making the older half elf, squeal in surprise from picked up like that. "Or rather... You."

Rena giggled a bit, until it turned into a moan. Feeling the sensation of Vince's hands kneading her breasts with his other hand for a moment.

Without a moment's notice Vince channled lightning into his legs and ran off, with enough speed to leave a small sonic boom behind along with a small trail of sparks of lightning, destroying a small portion of the ground underneath him.

"Damn, I was not expecting to see something out of a porno. She really pulls no punches with Vince." Shura said chuckling a bit.

"U-Umm, what just exactly occurred Shura?" Gabriel asked with a small blush and a bewildered expression.

Shura smirked as she opened a can of beer and took a sip. "I'd say ya got a good idea of what just happened with that small tint of red on yer face. But, like Vince likes to tell ya, they're doing a deadly sin in that bedroom, Lust. Ya know, what Vince talked about earlier with ya."

Gabriel herself blushed even more after remembering the recent memory, realizing what Shura was talking about.

Author's Notes: And finished. Phew, writing the chapter was fun but also very challenging since I never changed prospectives like that up until now. It was interesting for me to focus solely on Rena's perspective and her inner thoughts. I mainly did this so that everyone can get to see how Rena spends her time when she's not around Vince for the most part. I also did it to flesh out her character more, I felt that this was very needed and I liked doing this.

While Rena is very powerful and she's has her skills and abilities. Kasumi is also powerful and also has her own skills and abilities, however unlike Rena, she's much more experienced in combat as opposed to Rena and her fighting style is certainly brutal if you take a moment to look at her moves. Not only that Rena herself is very rusty on using elemental magic that's not a wind or light element.

The flashback while a bit heartwrenching, it was needed to show what exactly why Rena and Vince broke up. This was something I wanted to do for a while but I couldn't exactly write down what happened until this chapter. I really don't see someone being at fault here due to the circumstances. Snd it was also to show why at the beginning of the story Vince was a bit pissed and moody. Since the memory is still fresh in his mind since it only happened a few days before he transferred to Kuoh.

The interaction between Chloe and Rena was very fun for me to do and I have been wanting to do this for a while and now was the perfect chance since this is solely Rena's chapter. Oh and just for the record, the love Chloe is talking about is not in a romantic sense. It's more of a playful ambigious joke. So no, there's no confirmation Chloe is in Vince's harem as of now.

Though, as it stands right now Vince does not have a chance against Shura in a sword fight. She is his teacher for a reason and she's not a slouch either. He may get a few scratches here and there but as of now, that's as far as Vince is going to get.

The part with Arondight. It felt pretty barebones and I wanted to flesh it out more. So, I figured everything would go well together along with Arondight being a holy-demonic sword. Spirtual Fire is usually known for either purification or damaging a soul so the conclusion was easy for me to get to. That and from what I can gather about Arondight itself, it's a parallel to Excalibur and it was created by the Lady of the Lake, not only that it's known from being pretty damn sturdy. I apologize if I got this wrong.

As of right now, Arondight is not at full power and will not being using all it's abilities anytime soon. As of right now, it can only use two abilities the first was shown off, Mimic. Next chapter will reveal what else it can use. In terms of raw of power Arondight as a holy demonic sword is as strong as six Excalibur fragments. Due to it being a legendary weapon and holy demonic weapons are just overall stronger. However the rest of Arondight's abilities are still sealed up in addition to it not being at it's prime, so no I'm trying to make it overpowered right off the bat.

The last part itself with Rena was very fun for me to write and it just goes to show that she knows how to seduce Vince despite the good control he has over his hormones. And while the chapter was very emotional on certain parts, I don't want it to be completely emotional and angsty.

That's all I have to say about chapter. I do hope everyone enjoys the chapter and what I decided to flesh out. It took a while for me to iron out all of the details and please give me feedback on how the chapter along with how the change in prespective was. I'm really am curious to see if I got it right or not. Take care and have a nice day, later.
