Authors Note
Hello everyone! So this is my first ever fanfiction. What I am going to be doing is giving a summary, or an idea of what I am thinking, and then listen to the feedback. If it's something you guys seem interested in, please message/comment suggestions, encouragement, or even an offer to be a beta. I have read tons of Artemis Fowl fanfic to the point where I got bored and wanted to try writing one of my own. The only reason I don't start writing it now is because I am super busy and don't want to waste my time on something that won't be enjoyed.
Idea
Originally the idea in my head was a new character insertion but 1.) I HATE poorly written character insertions. 2.) I know I am not a good enough writer to write a great insertion, so I am not even going to try and make y'all read that. So in this story, I am going to try as best as I can to make said character Holly Short but she is a human. So I guess it's an AU?... Yeah, I'm calling it an AU to avoid any drama.
The idea is that Holly was an old pal of Butlers while he was in training. She was a prodigy being the most successful child in training, she had been there since she was a toddler. (Think Black Widow Red Room origin story, Holly is a MF badass). Holly still in training vanishes Fast forward Artemis is in his private school and Holly enrolls and acts as his secret personal bodyguard while he is at school. Holly and Butler are somehow reunited and the story will magically develop from there.
Super short summary but I didn't want to give too many details in case I actually write it and spoil it. If you want this to happen, then please let me know! All comments and ideas are welcome (but may not happen).
