Previously on A Half-breed's Life:

His father's screams rang through his head. Raditz's laugh as he tortured his father. Vegeta's last words before he left…

"If he can't survive, he's not worth our time."

Fine. They wanted him to toughen up? He would toughen up. Those specialists wanted him to work and train? Fine. He would do just that and he would become the strongest warrior in this camp and once those three saiyans returned…

Gohan narrowed his eyes at the wall in front of him as he leaned on the sink.

"I'm going to kill them."

Vegeta raised his hand and pulled back a fist. Gohan widened his eyes and he briefly powered up in order to catch Vegeta's punch. The young warrior frowned at the smirking man. Vegeta's scouter beeped and the man pulled back, taking off he scouter. "How did you know the exact amount of power you needed to block my punch?"

"I didn't. I guessed." Gohan responded, frowning. "You tend the punch on the same level."

Vegeta shook his head. "No. No. No. I was on a very low level. You powered up just enough to match my level in order to block my attack properly."

"You're reaching."

"You see, I've been paying attention to you lately. A while ago you slipped up. You weren't wearing a scouter but you could still prevent Raditz from sneaking up on you. You knew he was there." Vegeta stated. "I noticed that you always power up just enough to match our powers. Remember the times I told you not to wear a scouter during the training sessions? Even then you managed to know exactly what my power level was. I tried it out on several levels and you adjusted easily."

"Aside from the annoying note that you tend not to go all-out when you don't have to, I cannot help but think you are keeping something from us."

Gohan lowered his gaze down to his lap. The half-saiyan nervously fumbled with his tail, silent. The three saiyans exchanged glances. Vegeta leaned forwards so he could look at the half-saiyan. "What? No comment?"

Gohan swallowed but the feeling of a lump in his throat wouldn't disappear. "I know I'm in trouble. There's no way I can talk myself out of this." He responded.

The saiyan prince thought for a moment. "Alright." He stated. The man waved Nappa away and the man released Gohan's tail. The half-saiyan opened his eyes when the pain stopped. "I know. We have only been treating you like an adult but maybe it's time we started treating you like a child."

Vegeta grabbed Gohan by the back of his neck and pulled him closer, forcing the half-saiyan to turn and lean on Vegeta's legs with his torso. Vegeta powered up when Gohan resisted but despite Gohan's struggles, the man managed to push the young warrior down across his lap. "I'll spank you like the baby that you are."

Gohan shook his head. "No! Stop!" He tried to place his hands on Vegeta's upper leg and push up but his hands slipped off the man's leg when Vegeta pushed him down. "I'll do it!"

Vegeta grabbed Gohan by the back of his head and pulled the boy's head back, forcing the young warrior to awkwardly arch his back. "What was that, sweetheart?"

Gohan clenched his fists. "I'll teach you how to read power levels." He responded, frowning.

"Do you promise?" Vegeta didn't care for promises but after spending a couple of months with the half-saiyan he came to realize that once Gohan promised something, he kept his promise.

"I promise." Gohan responded.

"Thank you." Gohan said as he looked up at Zarbon. The young warrior just emerged from a roller-coaster and could still feel his heart beating in his chest. Zarbon sat this one out, saying he didn't want to mess up his hair. Gohan suspected the man just couldn't stand roller-coasters. "For today."

Zarbon shrugged. "I had nothing better to do anyway." He responded as he looked around.

"Still." Gohan said. The half-saiyan motioned to the world around him. "This day was amazing. However, I can't help but wonder… Why?" The brown eyes looked up at Zarbon and the older warrior caught the suspicion in the young warrior's eyes. The man almost felt sorry for the boy. He was way too young to show such adult expressions.

"What does it matter why I took you to this place?" Zarbon asked. "You had fun. That's all that matters, right? You need to think more about yourself and stop worrying about others so much."

Raditz was the first one to get back to the common room. There he noticed that many of the girls were gone. It was busy. Gohan was sitting on a couch in the corner. He managed to pull up his uniform but he still hadn't gotten his armour back.

One of the girls was holding it hostage while she spoke to the half-saiyan. She was just pinching his cheek when Gohan noticed the saiyan. "Raditz!" Gohan got off the couch and ran to his uncle. He stood behind the man and peaked to the girls. "You're here. "

"You've never been you so happy to see me!" Raditz laughed. Gohan sent him a glare.

"They're even scarier than you." Gohan replied, sending the grinning girls a scared glance.

"He's adorable." One of the girls said cheerfully.

The girl who had been holding his armour got up and walked closer. She smiled as she placed a hand on his head and roughly tousled his hair. "Don't worry, girls." She stated. "He will come back." She looked back at Gohan. "Your comrades are frequent visitors. Next time we'll be prepared for you, and you'll be ours for yet another hour." She winked at him before she walked away.

Gohan looked up at Raditz, who shrugged. "She's right."

"What?" Gohan exclaimed.

Chapter 20. Childish Dreams and Wishes…

"How's this for a party!" Nappa pulled the still beating heart from an alien's chest and tossed it aside before blasting the body into oblivion. The man whirled around in the air and attacked the next alien, thirsting for blood.

Gohan floated backwards as he avoided the slimy tentacles that tried to grab him. These aliens were horrifying. They were entirely purple humanoid beings with several bright green eyes and eight tentacles that protruded from their sides. Aside from that they could also hand out nasty kicks with their actually normal looking legs. Then again Gohan wasn't entirely sure what was normal any more.

Vegeta leaned sideways to avoid a green blubber of spit. If attached to the body, the spit would harden instantly and make it hard to move. None of the saiyans had actually fallen for this trap yet. Vegeta warned them about this ability beforehand and they could all dodge well enough.

Raditz pushed his fist right through an aliens head and the body exploded, green blubber landing everywhere. Raditz was hit by a particularly large splash of the blubber and he let out a disgusted groan.

Gohan looked at his now green slimy gloves. He was so happy he decided to wear those. The half-saiyan sensed incoming powers and realized he was going to be attacked by two aliens at the time. He blew out a sigh. Why did the aliens always assume he would be an easy kill? The young warrior powered up and used his energy to disintegrate the incoming aliens.

Vegeta glanced sideways, his lip forming a thin line as he pressed a button on his scouter to make Gohan's high powerlevel disappear from the screen. The man decided to focus on the matters that were important; the annihilating some aliens.

Raditz was wondering how he got in this situation. Three aliens decided to attack him at once and he was having a hard time keeping them at bay. A few quick looks around made Raditz realize the others were busy as well, too busy to help him at least. He would have to handle this on his own. The man dodged a punch, leaned sideways to dodge another, and jumped up to avoid a third. These aliens had too much tentacles. It was tiring.

Raditz wanted to send an attack back but he was too busy dodging attacks to attempt to fight back. He made an annoyed face as he tried to fly upwards, out of this situation, but a tentacle curled around his ankle and pulled him back down. Before Raditz could react one of the aliens spit at him and a blubbery load of spit landed on his shoulder. The man gasped in terror and tried to brush it off but the blubber hardened around his shoulder and made it difficult to move his arm. Another piece of spit landed on the elbow of his other arm, making it hard for him to move that one as well.

Before he knew it, the aliens attacked him with several loads of spit, landing all over his body and covering him with a hard green layer. Raditz tried to move his limbs but they were glued into immobilization by the green blubber. The full-blooded saiyan warrior looked up when he realized the three alien warriors were preparing a combined blast to destroy him. They all grinned widely, showing their pitch black teeth, and without further hesitation they sent the blast.

Raditz knew his end was near and he forced himself to look straight into the eyes of his enemy. It was strange but he felt awfully calm. Death had been a part of his life for a long time now and he knew that with every mission he would run the risk of being shot down. Now that time had come.

A fleeting movement was caught by his eyes and Raditz widened them when a small figure appeared in front of him. The young warrior crossed his arms in front of him and took the blast head on. He screamed when the blast encountered his body, burning at his flesh and tearing at his skin. The young warrior was forced back at first, almost bumping into Raditz, but he bit his lip until his skin broke and powered up.

Raditz watched with an open mouth as Gohan powered up higher and higher until he was strong enough to fight the blast. The eleven-year-old screamed as his power shot through his body, pushing at his bones, muscles and skin until he felt like he was bursting, and he focused it all in one massive energy wave.

Vegeta's scouter exploded and the man turned sideways, his mouth opening when he noticed what exactly was going on. Gohan pushed against the aliens' blast and let out his own energy wave, throwing the orb back to the aliens. They disintegrated on the spot. However, the blast wasn't done yet as many different small beams shot in different directions, attacking every alien warrior on sight and destroying them.

Small trickles of dust that fell down to the earth below were the only remainders of the aliens. Raditz looked at the young half-saiyan in front of him. Gohan was breathing heavily. He looked like he'd had better days. The skin on his arms was burned heavily, his uniform burned away in several places, he had circles around his eyes from exhaustion and sweat was running down his wounded face and body.

"You saved me." Raditz muttered quietly.

Gohan looked up at him as if he suddenly realized Raditz was there. The young warrior swallowed heavily and let out a sigh. "Don't let it go to your head." He responded with a hoarse voice.

Vegeta took off the earpiece, which was the only part of the scouter that was still intact. Nappa was taking off his destroyed scouter as well. The saiyan prince floated closer to the two related saiyans and he crossed his slimy arms over each other. "I think we've done enough for now. Let's clean up and get something to eat." He stated.

The others nodded in response. Raditz was still covered in the goo so they went to clean up first. The dangerous blubber would melt the moment it came into contact with the liquid elements on this planet so Raditz would be free once they took a dive in the nearest stream.

Gohan let out a relieved sigh when he placed his burned arms under water. He looked over his clothing and noticed his armour was still intact, though scorched badly. The young warrior figured he could tear the blue sleeves off his uniform since they were practically destroyed.

The young warrior made sure the uniform wasn't stuck to his burned skin before ripping the sleeves from the uniform, leaving him sleeveless. Gohan looked up when Raditz approached him. The uncle held out his hands. "Let me look at those burns." He stated.

"It's okay." Gohan tried but Raditz raised an eyebrow at him and the half-saiyan held out his arms so Raditz could look at his burned skin. The man made a disapproving sound with his tongue as he studied the boy's arms.

"Why did you do it?" Raditz asked, still looking at Gohan's arms. "One less saiyan would mean one less to keep you in this prison. One less enemy to fight."

"You're not my enemy." Gohan blurted out before he seemed to realize what he was saying and he quickly lowered his gaze. "Not really. Right now." He added self-consciously. To be honest, when Gohan noticed Raditz was in trouble he reacted more instinctively than rationally. All he knew was that Raditz was in danger and he had to help out… He had to do something. Now he wasn't so sure what he was thinking at the time.

Raditz watched the half-saiyan closely as he released the young warrior. The man showed a small smile before splashing the young warrior. "Don't ever do that again, do you hear me?" He said when Gohan looked up at him in surprise. "You're young and strong. Your life is worth so much more than mine."

Gohan noticed the soft edge to Raditz's voice and the young warrior smiled. "I'll try not to next time." He said in a playful tone. "Geesh. I save you and this is the thanks I get!"

Raditz placed his hands on Gohan's shoulders and pushed the half-saiyan over, forcing the young warrior to be submerged by the water. Gohan disappeared under water for a moment but quickly rose up and started splashing Raditz right back.

Vegeta studied the two saiyans as he washed his arms. The man was some distance away and he almost couldn't hear their conversation but they were not really trying to be quiet, so he could catch glimpses of their talk. Nappa sat down in the knee-high water next to Vegeta. "He destroyed our scouters." Nappa stated softly.

"Yes, he did." Vegeta looked down and took off his boot so he could wash the insides as well. This blubber got everywhere.

"Worried?"

"He's a cub."

"But he's almost as strong as we are." Nappa responded quietly. "Already. How strong do you think he'll be when he's stronger? I think he even came close to your max just now." Vegeta gave him a dark glance and Nappa quickly continued: "It was just a power spike of course. It's not like he can easily reach this amount of strength on a daily basis."

Vegeta took off his other boot. "Even the strongest warrior can be an important ally when tamed well. He's no exception." The saiyan prince threw his boots to the land, deciding to go bare-footed for a while.

"But can he be tamed?" Nappa watched as Gohan launched at his uncle, forcing the older warrior to fall down in the water. "We haven't been too successful until now."

"Haven't we?" Vegeta looked up at the two saiyans as well. "Do you see a child who desperately wants to get away from his uncle right now?" He asked as he watched Gohan laugh after throwing water in Raditz's face, forcing his uncle to cough and wipe the water from his eyes. "I'd say we're doing just fine."

"But... We want him to fear us. We don't want him to like us." Nappa said doubtfully.

Vegeta shrugged. "Whatever works." The man let out a sigh. "Trust Frieza to give us such a bullshit of a mission." He complained. "This is disgusting." The slime had even gotten under his fingernails. He growled in annoyance. "Disgusting…"

After soaking in the water for a while, Vegeta called everyone and they gathered on shore to prepare a fire on which they could cook a quick meal. While Gohan gathered firewood, Raditz and Nappa were hunting for animals and Vegeta gathered some fruits and vegetables that seemed edible. The man would always look them up on the intergalactic database before actually feeding the fruits or vegetables to his comrades.

"So," Gohan said as he looked over at Vegeta, "how about you tell me your story?" They were all finishing their massive amount of food so now was the time to start chatting.

"My story?" Vegeta repeated, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, we all know the outlines of Raditz's and Nappa's stories because you told me. And we all know my sob story mainly because you guys are responsible for it." The half-saiyan picked the remaining bit of meat from the bone he was holding. "But I have a feeling I'm the only one who doesn't know yours and that's simply not fair."

"Not fair, huh?" Vegeta tossed a bone in the fire and leaned back, placing his hands behind him on the ground so he could lean on them. "Well, too bad. Life's not fair."

Gohan shook his head. "I'm not going to accept that response. Come on, tell me."

"I don't feel like telling bedtime stories."

"If you're going to change tactics and try to make me like you rather than fear you, you might want to try to humour me once in a while." Gohan said casually.

Vegeta looked up, surprised, and he looked at Nappa, who seemed just as surprised, his mouth falling open. Vegeta looked back to Gohan but the half-saiyan was looking at the bone in his hands as he silently picked at the remaining flesh on it. However, after a closer look Vegeta noticed the faint smile around the corners of Gohan's mouth. It seemed that the half-saiyan caught more of their private conversation than Nappa and Vegeta realized.

The saiyan prince took a deep breath. "I was about five years old when I joined the army." He said slowly. "As you know, the saiyan planet made a treaty with Frieza's company. Then again, it was more like the saiyans were working for Frieza than Frieza for them. My father traded me for the safety of planet Vegeta. It was supposed to be a temporary arrangement. One day I came back from a mission and they told me my planet had been destroyed by a meteor. I always doubted whether that was true or not. Our systems should have anticipated a meteor and an army of saiyans could have taken on a threat like that."

"Frieza did it, right?" Gohan asked, looking up. They could easily have this conversation since their scouters had all been destroyed during Gohan's power spike just now.

Vegeta nodded slowly. "The saiyans were too strong. That's why Frieza decided to destroy an entire planet. Some of the saiyans on there were just children, infants…" The man took a deep breath. "We were the only ones who survived. So it's up to us to avenge our race."

Gohan made a face as he tossed his small bone in the fire as well. The young warrior's expression must have been easy to read because Raditz leaned forwards and smiled at the half-saiyan. "Yes, it's up to you too." The uncle stated.

Raditz's nephew met his gaze. "No, it's not. I hate saiyans and all that they stand for. I'm not going to avenge anyone, except maybe my father." His intentions were very clear as he focused on Raditz. His uncle only sent him a smirk back.

"So, you hate yourself as well." Vegeta concluded, nodding.

"Yes, I hate the part of me that got me in this situation in the first place. If only I'd been a normal human." Gohan responded stubbornly.

"Weak. Frail." Raditz started, mentioning the typical human traits in his opinion.

"Not a blood-thirsty murderer." Gohan snarled in response.

"Really? Cause you were doing a pretty good job at that today." Raditz shot back.

"I was trying to save you!" Gohan exclaimed.

"You could have knocked the aliens out. You didn't have to obliterate them." Raditz grinned at the young warrior. "You didn't even give them the chance to beg for mercy."

Gohan opened his mouth as if he was going to say something but closed it as he changed his mind. The young warrior lowered his gaze before getting up. "Bathroom." He muttered as he turned and walked away.

Vegeta rolled his eyes. "Stay close." He called after the young warrior. Vegeta did not understand nor appreciated Gohan's guilt when it came to killing the aliens. It was their job and Gohan would have to get used to it.

"I'll go as far as I have to!" Gohan snarled back before walking faster and disappearing in the woods. He wasn't planning on actually pushing the boundaries when it came to the distance he could move away from his comrades but he was certainly not going to let Vegeta think Gohan was afraid to disobey Vegeta's orders.

"Wait a second." Gohan looked around and suddenly recognized the massive entrance hall. "We're on the pleasure ship." He exclaimed. "Oh no. No. no." He turned to the space pod but Raditz got in his way, turning the boy around and pushing him forwards.

"It won't be that bad." Raditz said, smirking.

"Won't be that bad? They hate me!" Gohan responded.

"No, they adore you." Vegeta made a face. "I have no idea why. You're just a pain in the ass and you're not handsome either." The man ignored the glare he was getting from the half-saiyan. "Maybe ugly is what they find adorable."

"They don't adore me." Gohan responded, ignoring Vegeta's jibe about his appearance. "Why would they treat me like that if they liked me?"

"It's not just you." Raditz said as he pushed Gohan forwards. "They mess around with all the young cubs. Who would blame them? They spend their days serving men so when they get the chance to make the life of a young one miserable they take it."

Gohan shook his head and he turned around but Raditz grabbed his arm and dragged him to the doorway.

A group of girls was already waiting for them. Gohan recognized one of them as the girl named Shania. She grinned as she beckoned for Gohan to come closer. Last time they visited she volunteered to keep an eye on him and she paraded him around the entire ship, showing him off to all the female workers and even the guards.

Gohan made a miserable face. "Guys… Please…"

Vegeta already caught sight of her. "She is too eager for you. I wonder if she'll try to seduce you once you're old enough."

"Seduce me into what? What do you do when you disappear in one of those rooms?" Gohan asked, frowning at them.

"You'll find out when you get older." Raditz tousled Gohan's hair. "For now you should be more worried about the present."

Shania was within reach and she walked around Gohan so she could place her hands on his shoulders. The boy showed a miserable expression as she massaged his shoulders.

"Well, have fun." Raditz said. The others were already moving on to their own business and they ignored how the small group of women gathered around the half-saiyan.

Shania leaned down and wrapped her arms around Gohan's shoulders, hugging him from behind. She pressed her cheek against his. "We will." She called cheerfully. She rubbed her cheek against his. "Oh, your cheeks are so soft. No stubble at all." She teased, smiling when she saw the blushes on his naked cheeks.

"Let me feel." Several hands rubbed his cheeks while Shania pulled back, but she kept her hands on his shoulder. Gohan let out a deep sigh. How was he going to survive this?

**** DBZ **** DBZ ****

"So this is your room?" Gohan asked as he looked around in the tiny room. The light blue lamps were shining just as bright here in this purple room as in the main room. Gohan would learn later that these lights contained a certain type of shimmer that kept the women who worked here young. The light was similar to the sun that shone in the galaxy of their natural planet and while the sun near their planet kept them healthy, the light here was so extreme in its force that it made the women's bodies appear and remain younger.

The young warrior looked at the comfortable looking double bed. "Do you sleep here?"

Shania shook her head, her light-blue hair waving lightly. "We all sleep in one room. This is where we work." She explained as she motioned to the room.

Gohan studied the metal desk and the metal closet next to it. He opened the door curiously and looked inside but only found different outfits in all different colors and he briefly wondered why she was wearing a simple white dress if she had so many choices in this closet.

Shania was sitting on the bed when he closed the closet. The young warrior made a face as he studied the room. "So what do you do when you take someone in here?" He asked as he stepped closer.

She patted on the bed to indicate that he could sit next to her, which Gohan did. "We give the costumer what they want." She responded easily.

"What they want?" Gohan raised an eyebrow. "So, what about me? Could I be a costumer?"

"It depends," Shania tilted her head sideways as she studied him, "what do you want?"

Gohan placed his hands on the soft fabric of the sheets and leaned back on them. "What do I want? That's easy." He said as he studied his white boots. "The answer, that is. I don't think you can help me with actually achieving it. That just seems impossible right now."

"Let me guess, you want freedom, right?" Shania guessed, smiling when Gohan gave her a surprised glance. "It takes only a minute of studying your relationship with your comrades to know that you guys aren't exactly friends. So the whole concept that you joined them in order to help your family or that they took you in because you had nowhere else to go is not probable. They're holding you against your will."

Gohan was silent for a moment. "So, do you have the solution to my problem?"

Shania chuckled. "If you find one, you can tell me." She responded. "Let me tell you, kiddo. Every person in this ship is here against their will. I definitely never got to choose anything." She turned to the young warrior and smiled. "You're just a kid so it must be difficult for you and let me tell you, you'll never get used to it and the agonizing feeling you have towards the ones responsible for your place here will never disappear entirely. However, there's nothing you can do about it but live with it. So that's what you will do. Live with it and try to find comfort and pleasure in the brief moments of happiness you might find here and there."

Gohan did not respond immediately as he studied the sad expression on Shania's face. "Do you have moments of happiness?" He asked, wondering how to recognize these moments.

"Yes, I do. Right now for example." Shania reached out gently and tousled Gohan's black hair. "Hanging out with one of the sweetest boys I've ever met."

Gohan lowered his gaze, blushing in response to her comment. The young warrior decided to change the subject. "Did my comrades ever choose you?"

Shania considered this question for a moment. "Yes, Vegeta did once. Raditz as well, I think. Nappa never did. I'm too young for him. He told me so when I asked him why he never chose me."

"Can you tell me what they wished for?" Gohan asked curiously. He would like to know what the wishes of his comrades were and if they actually had wishes or dreams. They were so nonchalant when it came to crushing his dreams that he doubted they knew what it was like to desire something.

The young woman laughed in response to his question. "How old are you now?" She asked once she was done.

Gohan thought for a moment, lowering his gaze. "I think eleven years now. My comrades might know the exact number."

"Alright." Shania nodded once. "When you're passed your thirteenth birthday, tell me so and I'll show you what I did for your comrades." She promised.

Gohan made a face. "That will take ages." He complained, frowning.

Shania snickered and opened her mouth to reply but a figure from the doorway distracted the two. A colleague of Shania appeared in the doorway. "Costumer." She stated as she placed her hand on the leaning of the doorway.

Shania's expression fell. "I'll be right there." She responded, nodding. The colleague walked away again and Shania turned to Gohan. "Duty calls." She said before getting up. Gohan followed her example and they turned to the brightly lit hallway. There Shania turned to the young warrior and briefly brushed through his dark hair. "Stay strong, kiddo. I'll see you next time." She stated before she headed out.

Gohan watched her leave and leaned against the wall as he lowered his gaze to the ground. The young warrior considered Shania's promise. Two whole years. That meant he would still be here in two years…. Would he? The young warrior blew out a sigh. Freedom seemed impossible now. The longer he stayed here the more he got wrapped up in this world. With every person he met, every enemy he made and every day he spent here he could feel the ropes tightening around him, the web attaching to his body and holding him in place, the
small gap of freedom moving further and further away from him.

The half-saiyan looked up when two people passed him. Shania guided a tall warrior with a dark red skin and black eyes into her room before she looked over at Gohan. "Why don't you get back to the common room? This is no place for you." She whispered to him. She waved him away and Gohan nodded. This seemed enough and she disappeared in her room, closing the door behind her. Gohan only got a quick glance at the tall warrior but he shivered as he thought the man's black eyes and muscular physique. He would hate to be locked in a small room which such a scary man.

"Half-breed." Raditz knelt down next to the young warrior. "What are you doing here in the hallway?"

"Just wandering around." Gohan muttered in response.

"You shouldn't be wandering around here. Let's get you back to the common room." Raditz responded before he stood up and headed for the main room. Gohan gave one last look at the closed door before he followed his uncle.

"I'm not going to fit!"

Gohan frantically looked around to find some sort of escape from this situation but his two comrades left him no room. Raditz pushed the half-saiyan closer to the small cabinet.

"Get in there!"

"Why?" Gohan made a face as he looked at the cabinet.

"We want to see if you'll fit in there." Nappa responded cheerfully.

Gohan growled when Nappa pushed against his shoulder. The half-saiyan lost his footing and fell sideways, landing with his head inside the cabinet. "I can tell you right now; I won't fit!" Gohan snarled as he was pushed into the cabinet.

"You're not even trying." Nappa said as he pushed Gohan again.

The young warrior frowned up at him. "You guys are crazy." He snarled.

Raditz and Nappa exchanged glances before reaching towards the half-saiyan and literally forcing him into the cabinet. Gohan cursed and complained as the two manhandled him inside until Nappa could actually close the door.

There was actually enough room for the half-saiyan to kneel. His chest leaned against his upper legs and his back was pressing against the back of the cabinet. He leaned his forehead against the door of the cabinet and knocked. "Alright. I fit. Let me out."

"I'm not sure." Nappa said loudly. "I recall someone calling us crazy."

"Guys!"

"Why don't you start with apologizing and work your way to saying how much you love us." Raditz added, grinning broadly.

"I swear I'll destroy this cabinet if you don't let me out soon!" was Gohan's muffled response.

"Oh really? And what do you think Vegeta will do to you if you destroy his entire kitchen?" Nappa countered.

Gohan made a face and blew out a sigh. Vegeta chose this moment to enter the apartment. The man noticed Raditz and Nappa were huddled around the cabinets and he raised an eyebrow. "What is going on here?"

"We locked half-breed up in the cabinet."

"Why?"

"We wanted to see if he would fit." Raditz said, shrugging.

Vegeta rolled his eyes. "Just make sure you put air-holes in there." He said before heading to his bedroom.

Gohan frowned as he knocked on the door again. "Let me out!" He called. "Come on, guys. It's not funny anymore." The half-saiyan was silent for a moment, wondering how long he was going to have to stay in here, when suddenly the door opened. Gohan looked up in surprise and crawled out. He stretched his limbs thankfully.

"I'm bored." Nappa complained as he turned around and walked to the living room.

"Half-breed, come here." Vegeta ordered as he walked in the living room as well. The man sat down on the couch and opened the laptop he was holding. While Gohan crossed the room and sat down next to him, Vegeta typed something on the laptop before placing it on Gohan's lap. "I want you to write down everything you've done during the most recent mission. An approximation of the aliens you killed, an estimation of what you think the planet is worth etc. I made a list for you." The man pointed to the list. "Can you do that?"

"Sure." Gohan nodded as he looked up at Vegeta. "I'll get right on that."

Vegeta nodded and got up so Gohan could work on his assignment alone. The young warrior immediately got to work, writing down everything he did during the mission while checking Vegeta's list to make sure he was still going on the right track.

The half-saiyan was pleased that Vegeta allowed him to write his own report. Until now, Vegeta had been the one who had been writing Gohan's reports for him. This must mean that Vegeta trusted Gohan to do his job right. And that fit perfectly into Gohan's plans.

During his trip from the pleasure ship to this planet, Gohan decided that he wasn't going to stay in this world any longer. He was going to escape. However, this wouldn't be a spur of the moment thing. He would have to really think it through, choose the perfect moment and get rid of his comrades once and for all.

A smirk appeared on Gohan's face as he glanced over to his comrades. They were all standing in the kitchen, talking quietly about their latest mission. The half-saiyan felt a thrill run through his body. They would never see him coming, and once they did, it would be too late.
