WHAT UP!

Hey guys, here's the next chapter of My Sister's Secret. Well, from the reviews I would say that the decision on the baby's gender was agreed upon and so start coming up with name decisions.

A lot of you have also written about not adding in any fighting scenes, but to be honest that's probably gonna be impossible. It won't be an awful fight, like Auslly breaks up or Ally's parents disown her, but minor fights.

Total fan girl moment right now, but I won my auctions and got not only Rydel's sweater, but I also got ROSS LYNCH'S SHIRT! I had to pay a lot of money, but it was so worth it.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything related to Austin and Ally

Chapter 3

Telling Austin's Parents

Austin's POV:

"Well, congratulations you two, you're having a…"I felt my heart beating against my chest as we waited, "You're having a little girl!" Yes, I knew it, victory dance! Okay maybe not here, but I will do it later.

Ally looks back at me and kisses me on the cheek.

"Looks like you were right; we're having a little girl. Looks like we're gonna be looking up girl names for the next couple of months." I laugh. I've actually come up with some cute names even before we knew.

The doctor then hands us a picture of the sonogram and leave us to our own, reminding us to make another appointment before we left. We thanked her and just kept staring at the picture. Our first baby pictures of little baby girl Moon and already I want her here with us. But, I know I have to wait 7 more months before that's possible. UGH, it's just too far away.

I helped Ally to clean off her stomach and she pulled down her dress, but not before I placed a kiss on top of it. She giggled as she hopped off the examine table and we headed out. We made another appointment with Kelli and decided to stop for some lunch. Luckily the hospital was close to a McDonald's, so we decided to go there.

Walking up to the counter we decided to share a 20 piece nugget with our own medium fries, a coke for me and a bottle of water for Ally. When she found out she was pregnant, caffeine was the first thing off her list. No more soda, tea, or coffee until the after the baby came. After paying I decided to wait for the food while Ally went to find a place for us to sit.

After our food was handed to me, I found Ally sitting in a booth, looking at her phone. I sat the food down in front of her, sat down next to her, throw my arm around the back of the booth and around her and saw that she was texting Trish.

"So, she's already bugging you about the appointment?" I asked taking a nugget in my mouth and eating it. She sighed as she reached for her fries.

"Yeah, she keeps asking, well more like demanding, that I tell her the baby's gender."

"And you don't want to tell her? I thought you wanted to go buy baby clothes after this."

"I want to, but I'm afraid of what Trish would buy. Besides, you get a lot of that stuff at the baby shower, actually, I had a really cool idea that I think you'll love." She said turning towards me with hopeful eyes. I was a little afraid of what she might want.

"And what is this cool idea you have?"

"I thought that once we tell our parents about the baby, we could throw a gender reveal party." She said bouncing a little in her seat. I raised an eyebrow at her.

"A what party? I thought you wanted to just have a baby shower?" I asked a little confused. She's always talked about having a baby shower, so what is this other party she's come up with?

"It's called a gender reveal party, it's where you don't tell anyone the gender of your baby, but you have people come to the party dressed in the color that they think it is, pink for a girl and blue for a boy. Then you find some way to reveal the gender and then have a baby shower another time." Oh, that kind of makes sense, I guess. It does sound like it would be fun and the baby is a girl, so I 'm still happy about that.

I chuckle and wrap the arm on the booth around her, pulling her closer to me and resting my hand against her small bump. She cuddles into me and places her own hand on top of mine. It was this moment that I just wanted to last forever. This was what I've wanted to do since we first started dating, being able to just hold her and cuddle in public like a normal couple. It felt so right.

"You're still coming to my parent's house for dinner tonight, right?" I asked her.

"Yeah because I'd rather tell them first, after all they have been the most supportive of our relationship and I feel like I can trust them to keep it a secret for now." Secret, I'm beginning to hate that word. I just want everyone to see how much I love and care for Ally and look beyond the fact the she's younger than me and also having my baby. Is that too much to ask for?

After we finished lunch, I took Ally back home, so that she could rest up before coming to see me and my parents for dinner. I lingered for a little bit to look at the sonogram she had left me. All I kept thinking when I saw it was how proud I already felt of her even though she wasn't born yet. In a way I'm kind of glad that Ally is pregnant because it's kind of an excuse for us to tell our friends and family about our relationship.

I put the sonogram in the visor of the car and made my way back to my apartment. I buzzed in and drove into the parking spots just outside it. I turn the car off and walk up the flight of steps, unlock it and walked in.

"So, how was the appointment?" I heard someone ask. I looked ahead into the small kitchen to see my roommate and best bud, Dez Wade.

"Yeah, we found out the gender, nothing is wrong and it just seems like everything is perfect." I said as I slumped into the white couch. Dez came out of the kitchen with a sandwich in hand and sat down in the arm chair next to the couch.

"I still can't believe that you are gonna be father. It feels just like yesterday I was helping you get over your fear of umbrellas." He said.

"Dez that was actually three years ago when you had me in that short film you directed. I still have nightmares from that day." Yeah, not one of my best memories of the beach, "And you didn't help me overcome anything. I managed to do that all by myself." We both laughed at that.

Dez attends Miami U as a film student and his biggest dream to one day shoot the next movie in the 'Zaliens' saga. I think he had great potential to do it; he just needs to learn how to stay on task. Dez has also been my best friend since we were in kindergarten and he's one of the few people that know about me and Ally. Granted he didn't find out in the way I would have liked him to find out…

"It just doesn't seem possible you being a father because Ally always turned you down when you asked her out." That was true, Ally and I kind of got off to a bad start when we were first met.

"Cut me some slack, she was the one who thought it wouldn't work out because of our age difference. I, however, was just too persistent to give up."

"I remember when she finally agreed to go out with you. She was 16 or 17 at the time?" Dez asked.

"She was 17 and I really don't want to relive that moment. I don't think I've ever been more embarrassed on a first date in my life." That wasn't a lie either. Our first date was possibly the worst first date in the history of first dates.

After she had finally agreed to go out with me, I decided to take her to this really good restaurant that my parents always go to. It wasn't really fancy and I thought that it would be the best place to have a first date. Ally looked amazing in her red form fitted and white wedges, it was the first time I had seen her dressed like that. The ride over to the restaurant was pretty good, casual conversation and the like, and then we were seated at our table. That was when it got really awkward. We tried to talk, but we were too afraid of hurting the other with anything we said and when our food came, I tried to be romantic and feed her, but I only ended up dropping food all over her. In the end, it was just a total disaster and Ally thought it would be best to be friends. I agreed, well until a few months later when she turned 18.

"So, what are doing tonight?" Dez asked me. I jumped a little not realizing that I had lost myself in my thoughts.

"I'm taking Ally to my parents' house for dinner and break the news to them. Hopefully, my mom and dad won't kill me when we do."

"Why would they kill you? Just because you got your girlfriend, who is younger you and still in high school, pregnant doesn't mean they won't love you." I stared at Dez with a deadpan look on my face.

"Right, no way they wouldn't kill me for any of that." I said sarcastically as I rolled my eyes. I got off the couch and moved towards my bedroom when I heard Dez say,

"Just remind them how serious you two are and everything should go smoothly." I laughed a little and walked into my bedroom. I dropped onto my bed and looked at my alarm clock sitting on the bedside table.

It read 2:55, so at 4:30 I had to start getting ready to pick Ally up and drive to my parents for the big dinner. I decided to catch a few zs beforehand because I know I'm gonna need it. It was going to be an interesting night.

Ally's POV:
After Austin dropped me off I decided to give Trish a heads up about the baby. I wasn't going to tell her the gender, but I'am going to tell her about the plans for the parties we want to have. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 2:15. Now I know that's not the normal time school's get out, but at our school, seniors can leave early if they have no other classes or responsibilities. Knowing Trish, she fit her whole schedule that way, so it was safe to give her a call.

I scrolled through my recents until I found Trish's number and the phone began ringing. She almost immediately picked up,

"Hey, you finally called me back."

"Yeah, I just wanted to give you an update from the appointment."

"Well, come on; tell me do I have a little niece or nephew? Please tell me it's a niece, so that we can shop for cute baby clothes."

I rolled my eyes at her. Trish will find any reason to go shopping and I mean anything.

"Unfortunately, I can't do that."

I pulled the phone away from my ear when she started to scream and yell at me in Spanish.

"Look, we want to keep it a secret until we tell my family."

"But, I'm your best friend and this child's godmother; I think that overrules your absolutely crazy decision to keep it a secret."

I exhaled a breath, trying to calm my nerves, and knew one thing would make her happy.

"Well, what do you say to plan not only my baby shower, but a gender reveal party? You'll be able to be in on all decisions about it."

She was silent for a moment then screamed joyfully into the speaker of the phone. I pulled it away from my ear and carefully placed it back.

"So I take that as a 'yes'?"

"Of course, it'll be a lot of…work, but it's for you, so I survive. I can't wait to start planning, when are free?"

"Whoa, down tiger, we won't start planning until after I tell my family. Until then you and I need to hit the maternity stores."

I shuddered saying it; maternity store. That is something no one my age should even be thinking about buying clothes meant for pregnancy, but that was my situation and I really needed some new jeans, anyway.

"Alright, well look, I got to go. My boss is coming my way and I at least have to pretend to do my job. Talk to you later?"

"Yeah, talk to you later."

And we both hung up our phones. I walked into the kitchen, looking for a snack, when I saw a note on the counter. I picked it up and saw it was from my parents,

Ally,

Your father and I needed to head out to the caterers for a final tasting of the menu for our anniversary party. I'm trying to convince your father to hire the wait staff instead of using you and your brother to cut costs. Anyway, we'll be gone for most of the night and Elliot has to stay late at the school to work on an art project. There's money on the counter for pizza if you get hungry and stay safe.

Love,

Mom

Great, both my parents and my brother are out of the house for the night. This'll make it easier to get to Austin's and then back home without having to sneak in when everyone else is asleep. I placed the note in the garbage and walked the stairs up to the bathroom to take a shower. I ran the hot water and began taking my clothes off. When I took my dress off, I stopped and looked at my belly again. I rested my hand against it and smiled.

"Hey baby girl, how you doing in there?" I said talking to my baby. I read online that your baby can hear your voice while in utero and it's supposed to be rather comforting for them. It also helps to distinguish who's who when the baby comes out. "Daddy and I are very happy to finally know who you are and we can't wait to meet you in person." I smiled a little.

I walked into the shower and began to clean myself for the night ahead. After my shower I went back to my room to pick out an outfit for tonight. I looked through everything in my wardrobe for something that was loose and wouldn't cling to my form to hide my bump. It felt like forever, but I finally found the outfit. A little blue baby doll top with a pair of white skin jeans that somehow I managed to button together and a pair of strappy white wedge heels.

I moved onto pull my hair into a fishtail braid and kept my makeup simple; tan eye shadow, mascara, pale pink blush and lip gloss. I had walked back into my room when I saw my phone buzzing. I picked it up and saw that Austin had texted me that he was here. I grabbed my powder blue cardigan and walked out of the house. He still had the Jaguar; his car must be at his parents. I opened the door and slid right on in.

"Hey, you look great." He said, pecking me on the cheek.

"Thanks, so do you." I replied back as I pulled my seat belt across me. He really did look good; he was wearing a white V-neck underneath a red plaid button up shirt with blue jeans, a chain attached to the belt loops and his converses on his feet. I also noticed that had a black beanie covering his hair.

"Do you have to wear a beanie?" I whined, "You know your mother hates those things."

"Doesn't matter, I'm 22 years old, it's not like she can ground me or anything. Besides, I think it makes me look good." He said, looking at me flirtatiously. I knew the beanie did look good on him and he is old enough to make his own decisions. I just didn't want to give his mother another reason to possibly kill him.

We drove the distance from my house to his parents' house and I suddenly felt the butterflies come back. I thought it was just the baby, but it was more than likely nerves. I felt weird thinking about the possible ways this night could go, but then I felt him grab my hand. I turned my head at him and he just smiled. I smiled back and that unsettling feeling disappeared almost instantly.

When we finally pulled up in front of the house, Austin got out and ran to my side to open the door for me. He can be such a gentleman! I got out and stood there with him staring at the house.

"You ready to do this?" He asked wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah, I'am." And we walked to the front door.

It was now or never.

No One's POV:

Austin and Ally walked, his arm around her shoulder and hers around his waist, as they opened the front door.

"Mom, dad we're here!" Austin called into the hallway of the foyer.

"We're in the kitchen, dear." A feminine voice called back. They closed the door behind them and walked the hallway into the kitchen.

"Austin." The feminine voice, also known as Mimi Moon, said as she kissed Austin on the cheek. "Ally, it's so good to see you again! Please come and sit in the living room. Mike is in there with appetizers." She said as she shooed them into the living room. Ally turned back to face Mimi,

"Are you sure Mimi? Because, I could stay and help."

"Nonsense Ally, your our guest tonight and I want to you feel at home. After all, who knows, you could become a part of the family someday." She hinted. Ever since they got together, Mimi has been hinting to both of them about how much she wants Ally to become her daughter-in-law.

"Well, maybe someday." Ally replied back. They both giggled and Mimi once again shooed Ally into the living room.

When she walked in she saw Austin sitting on a couch around a table filled with tiny appetizers talking with his father. Mike turned to face Ally when she walked in and got up to give her a hug.

"Ally, it is so good to see you! It's even greater to see that you're still with Austin!"

"Why wouldn't I be Austin?" She asked, her eyebrows rose in question.

"Yeah, dad, why wouldn't she be with me?!" Austin piped in. Mike released Ally and turned back to Austin.

"Only a joke, son, even if Ally is a little above what you use to bring home, especially that Brooke girl, she was crazy beyond belief." Austin shuddered a little when he said that name and Ally knew why.

Brooke was an ex-girlfriend of Austin's, right before he dated her, and when they broke up, she didn't exactly get the full message. She used to follow Austin and Ally out when they would go on dates and stalk Austin in general. She finally went away when the cops finally stopped her and took her to a mental institute. Austin was relieved before belief and Ally was just glad the nut job was out of their hair.

Austin, Ally and Mike sat around talking for a while until Mimi walked out from the kitchen. Ally could see that Mike and Mimi were dressed in their usual attire; a matching pink button down shirt, Mike was wearing khaki pants and Mimi was wearing a khaki skirt. They were both wearing a dark blue sweater, but Mimi had hers wrapped around her neck and down her back, while Mike was wearing his over his shirt.

"Dinner is ready, so let's head into the dining room." She said as they got up from the living room and headed into the dining room.

Dinner was simple, a spaghetti Bolognese with freshly made garlic bread. They dinner had started off on a good note; Mike and Mimi talking about the progress of their mattress store and trying to get Austin to do their slogan with them. Ally laughed as they had to pull Austin up from his seat to do it.

"Come on, son, you'll be doing a lot of this when you graduate in December, might as well perfect it!" Mike said. It was Mike and Mimi's hope that Austin would take over the mattress store, but Ally knew that Austin would rather jump off the Empire State Building and catch his eyelid on a nail, then recite the Mattress Kingdom's slogan.

His parents placed Austin between them as the raised their hands in the air,

"At Moon's Mattress Kingdom, there's no hassle in our castle!" They kissed their hands, bowed and gave a breathy laugh. Austin just looked like he wanted to die.

He got out of his parents hold and sat back next to Ally.

"So, Ally anything new with you and Austin that we don't know?" Mimi asked, biting into her garlic bread. They both stopped eating and looked at each other.

"Well, actually we do have something new and it's kind of big." Austin said as he grasped Ally's hand.

"Ally's pregnant, isn't she?" Mike said as if it were the most casual conversation in the world. They both looked at each, eyes wide and mouths open in shock.

"How did you know, we haven't told anyone outside of Dez and Trish?" Ally said, trying to grasp what Mike had said. Mike leaned back in his chair and looked at the young couple.

"Austin, you are many things, but tactful is not one of them. I sat in the living room with you two when you placed your hand over Ally stomach and the numerous other times you did it when thinking no one was looking." Austin and Ally hung their heads, a little blush growing on their faces.

"And, also when Ally would get sick at random times when she was here kind of gave it away. I mean, I've had a child as well dear, so I know the signs." Mimi said.

"Why didn't you say anything before if you already knew?" Ally asked.

"We wanted you two to come and tell us and luckily, you did. The point is though is that we're worried that you're taking on a little too much. I mean, Ally your still in high school and Austin might be graduating, but he doesn't have a job yet." Mimi said. Austin felt like he was being scolded like a little kid who got caught stealing candy before dinner.

"But, we know that you'll figure it out and we trust that you'll make the right decisions when it comes to this baby." Mike said with Mimi nodding her head in agreement. Austin and Ally both looked surprised, but were happy none the less that Austin's parents supported them in their decision to keep this baby.

Ally reached into the pocket of her jeans and pulled out a folded slip of paper. She unfolded it and handed it to Mike and Mimi. They both smiled at what she had handed them.

"That's our grandbaby isn't it?" Mimi asked, tears in her eyes. Ally nodded her head,

"We found out the gender today as well, but we want to hold onto that for a little while. We will be telling everyone though at our gender reveal party soon." She explained. They both nodded in understanding and the rest of the meal passed on. Most of the conversation was focused on the baby and how Ally was doing in her pregnancy. Mimi told her that if she ever needed advice to just gives her a call.

This was just one more weight lifted off their shoulder, but they weren't done yet. They only had a few short weeks before they came clean to Ally's family and they only hoped that their reaction will be as good as Mike and Mimi's.

Well, Austin's parents took the news pretty well, but this is the calm before the storm. Remember to review, favorite and follow to enjoy the rest of this story.
