I have to confess this chapter was already 80 to 85% done at the same day I uploaded the previous. Yay for notes in the form of written out scenes. I fixed a few things here and there and added the rest of the chapter.

I won't be able to work on this as frequent as the last two weeks, since I started my new job today. But I'll do my best to upload the next chapter quick (because I'm gonna love writing that one I think that won't be much of a problem).

ShadowSpirt020 you will find out soon

Carl Solo it's not really dragon per se. What it really is will spoil the story. Though I think the next chapter will have some explanation, based on what I am planning on writing.

Chapter 12: Lost friends return

Astrid looked down at the motionless figure as she carefully touched the not bandaged part of his forehead with a cold wet cloth. She was certain this fever was because of an infection, but had yet to locate it. She and Gothi had been making sure that every wound was carefully cleaned and tended. Every two hours, they would check the wound and give it clean bandages.

Astrid shove some of Hiccup's bangs away to see the bandages around his head. The main injury was at the back really, though she had seen a few cuts on his forehead too. His head was resting on the biggest pillow they could find. She sighed and turned to the table next to the bed where a small bowl with ointment was. With two fingers she managed to scrape some of the last bit out and smeared it on the long cut he had on his cheek. He stirred a little and every time he did, Astrid froze in anticipation that he might wake up. He never did though, not this time either, making Toothless who was watching what Astrid was doing wail and then rest his head on the board at the end of the bed.

Astrid gave the dragon a scratch, telling Hiccup would wake up soon, but she knew it sounded like she was convincing herself with those words as well. She let out a sigh and stood up.

"Watch him," she told the dragon, knowing he would do so even if she didn't tell him, "make sure he stays in bed if he were to wake up, okay?"

Toothless licked her hand as a reply and then focused on Hiccup once more.

"I'll be back in a bit."

She grabbed a shoulder bag from the floor near the bed and left the room. After informing Gothi she was going to gather new herbs she left the elder's house and walked through town. People were still giving her glares, but since Stormfly wasn't around they seemed less intense. Perhaps some of the words Old Wrinkly had also helped.

It was really quite surprising how everything turned out. About two hours after she had brought Hiccup to Gothi some ruckus was going on at the plaza. Seeing Wartihog and Dogsbreath, she decided to check it out, already guessing what the situation was. What happened next was something she could have never guessed.

In the center of the group stood two young adults, telling a tall tale.

"And then that nightfury launched itself at us!" Dogsbreath said, making the crowd gasp followed by words of killing the beast.

"So I pulled my sword and slashed him," Wartihog continued, demonstrating his actions, "hitting his snout and blood gushed all over the place."

"Then he fired at us."

"But we jumped away just in time."

"While the dragon was trying to slaughter us, that blasted useless dragon lover ran off to gods know where!"

Astrid looked around with a frown as Vikings started to shout that Hiccup and the nightfury had to die. Then she spotted Snotlout, who looked not pleased at all. His eyes widened when he saw her standing. He looked at the scene once more and then stepped forward. His two friends saw him and pulled him in.

"And then Snotlout went to search for Hiccup to pay him back for bringing a nightfury!" Wartihog announced.

Astrid balled her fists as she pondered over how to make Snotlout pay for this, but before she could go into too much detail, already thought of dropping him from a few feet high, he opened his mouth.

"Lies," he stated as the crowd grew silent.

His two friends looked at him betrayed.

"May I point out the obvious facts here. First off, a nightfury doesn't miss. Second of, the nightfury nor you two show any sign of a battle. Third off, I told you two to back of as the chief has told everyone and not start something stupid such as I don't know, attack Hiccup! Four; when you did attack Hiccup, the nightfury did nothing, it really seemed like it wanted to, but it didn't. Five; the only bruises you guys have is from being attack by Hiccup, not a nightfury. And I have to say I'm very surprised how easily he knocked you two out. Six; Hiccup went for me, yes, but the nightfury stopped him from attacking me."

Astrid stared at Snotlout in disbelieve, who then looked over to her and continued the story.

"Hiccup ran off and so did the nightfury. I was on my way to the village, when the nightfury came with Astrid on top. I quickly explained what had happened and… was dropped off as she went to search for him."

Astrid raised an eyebrow, they hadn't dropped him off, he just fell off.

"When I later found them Hiccup seemed to be his normal self again."

Astrid stepped out of the crowd and walked to him.

"Then why did you push him of the cliff?" she asked at a dangerous tone as the crowd gasped.

Snotlout rolled his eyes, "I didn't want to push him off the cliff, I wanted him to hurry up and walk. He stumbled over his own feet like he always does. That he fell down, was his own fault."

Astrid glared at him, not willing to believe that story, though he had just helped out by telling the truth about the attack so for now let it slide. People around her were forming their own opinions, some praising Snotlout for pushing Hiccup, some saying they should let the lad die.

"Silence!" then boomed above all other voices and it was then Astrid noticed the chief.

He marched over to her.

"Bring Hiccup here."

"He's unconscious," she simply stated as she glared at the chief.

The expression he was making, told her enough, he was going to exile his son or worse, kill him. He glared back and where ever other Viking would back down and give in to his wishes, Astrid was not. She had enough of the chiefs mistakes and Hiccup had suffered enough by them. This time she would stop the chief from making another foolish mistake.

"Listen here, lass. He's a danger to everyone, as is his dragon," he hissed at her.

"No," was all Astrid said and she crossed her arms, "he is not."

People watched this verbal battle closely, no-one would get out of this one easily. Stoick would get what he want, not even Astrid would be able to stop that. They all murmured about the possible outcome and most bet Stoick would win and Astrid's fate was jail.

"Stoick!" a stern voice said.

The masses stepped aside for an old and even more respected man then Stoick to let through. Stoick glared at his father, who wasn't faced by it at all. Just like Astrid he simply stood there and gave the man a glare back.

"This kind of behavior is not going unpunished," Stoick growled.

"Oh really? The way I see it, it has gone unpunished for years. Hiccup has been beaten up plenty of times by those lads and you did nothing. Now you're saying that because your son finally stood up for himself and beat them up, he is to be punished? Might I add that you always told him to fight back."

Again people started to murmur, but Astrid paid them no attention. Here was a perfect example of how Stoick always send out two messages that were the opposite of each other. Her faith in his wisdom was dwindling down and fast.

Old Wrinkly looked at Dogsbreath and Wartihog who both quickly did a step backwards.

"These two are just acting like little spoiled brats. Getting a beating themselves and they run to mommy because they couldn't win."

There was some snickering. Astrid couldn't help to join in that as well as she looked at the two Vikings, who now looked highly insulted.

"I do hope you are planning on punishing them," Old Wrinkly said and turned to look at Stoick who looked confused, "They did go against your orders, didn't they?"

Stoick didn't say a word, but some other Vikings helped him in that department as they all announced that yes the chief had told everyone not to provoke.

Astrid could still not believe Stoick had punished the two. Snotlout had been pulled away by his father in a rather rough matter, but Astrid couldn't really care about that at the moment.

She turned her head to the docks where new ships had anchored. Yesterday morning, Stoick suddenly stood before her as she was about to go check on Hiccup. He ordered her to put the dragons into the kill ring. Astrid had shouted at him and asked why. When she was told the Bog Burglars were coming she gave in, not willing to risk the life of her dragon. Toothless however was to remain with Hiccup. Stoick disagreed, but with the help of her mother they managed to convince the chief Toothles wouldn't leave Hiccup's side.

Astrid saw some of the Bog Burglar Vikings trade with some of the Hooligan tribe. Perhaps because they were here no-one was mentioning the whole incident.

She finally arrived home and was greeted by her mother who was spinning. Half the floor was covered with wool or yarn. It would be last wool of this year, shaving the sheep again would kill them during winter. Not that the Hofferson family had any sheep left, but no-one really liked the job her mother was currently performing, so it paid well enough.

"Did he wake up yet?" her mother asked.

Astrid shook her head as she opened the basket of fish and grabbed a handful of them, which she placed in her shoulder bag.

"Mom, why are the Bogs here?" she asked as she picked up some of the yarn and put it in a basket.

Her mother grimaced as she stopped her work before she spoke.

"Stoick is planning on going to the nest. Saying he knows a way to find it this time for sure and requested the help of the Bog Burglars and the Meathead. They are to discuss the whole matter once the Meathead tribe arrives."

"Has he gone crazy?! That's a suicide mission!" Astrid yelled, "and how exactly does he plan finding it?"

Her mother gave no answer to that and continued her work. Astrid shook her head in disbelieve and told her mother she was off again to go feed Stormfly and gather herbs to make Hiccup's medicine. She made her way to the kill ring, looking forward to see her dragon again. Though she looked betrayed every time she was left in that place. Astrid felt horrible about it, but had no other choice.

"Hey Astrid," came from behind just when she was about to leave the village.

Astrid almost jumped at the sound of the voice and turned around. Somewhat relieved she found out it was Camicazi. The girl gave her a weak smile.

"Can I join? I'm really not in the mood in hearing whatever my mom and Stoick are talking about," she grinned somewhat uncomfortable.

Astrid shrugged her shoulders and nodded, continuing her way up the mountain. They walked in silence for a while until Camicazi spoke up.

"It's been a while since I last been on Berk. The last time was a few weeks after Hiccup…"

She stopped talking immediately.

"You and Hiccup were good friends when you were younger, weren't you?" Astrid asked carefully.

"Ya… I still can't believe he's gone," she mumbled,

It was clear to Astrid Camicazi really didn't want to talk about Hiccup. Just that made her really want to let the girl he was alive and fine… okay not fine, but he was alive. It had crossed her mind the moment she had seen the Bogs arrive, but she had been focused on keeping the guy alive and tending to his wounds. And right now there were a few things stopping her from telling her. First off, her chief forbade it. Stupid reason, she thought and blew it away. She couldn't care less about what the chief told her about what she was and was not allowed to do while the Bogs and later the Meatheads were on Berk. Second reason, a way better reason, there was a big black dragon overprotectively guarding the boy. If she was to tell, or better yet, show Camicazi Hiccup was alive, then she first had to be prepared for Toothless.

A plan already mustered in hear head.

"Come on, I want to show you something, if anyone asks, you are joining me gathering herbs. I'm looking after a sick person so no-one will find that suspicious."

Camicazi could only nod, her eyes sparkling with wonder and enjoying the mystery pretty much. They walked further up the mountain, staying on the path that led to the kill ring. Along the route were a few buildings, so a it was normal to see some people here and there who asked them where they were going. They told their gathering herbs lie, though Astrid knew it wasn't even really a lie, she needed some new herbs.

Eventually they left the main road and buildings behind and were crossing the bridge to the kill ring.

"Why are we going to the kill ring?" Camicazi asked confused, but Astrid kept her mouth shut. She opened the door of the arena and was immediately greeted by an overly happy Stormfly who was obviously hoping to leave the place. Camicazi already pulled her sword, but it was midair when as she gaped at the scene before her. Astrid scratched her deadly nadder friend.

"I'm sorry girl, the chief doesn't want you to be spotted and quite frankly I'm afraid you'll get hurt if you go into town now," she told Stormfly and looked over to Camicazi.

Grinning a little she walked over to the girl, still standing at the gate of the arena. Gently she placed her hand on Camicazi's, taking the sword from her.

"There is no need for that," Astrid said calmly, "instead, take this."

Astrid gave the girl a fish. Still at a loss of words Camicazi stared at her. Astrid pushed her towards Stormfly.

"Meet Stormfly. Don't worry, she won't hurt you if you don't hurt her that is."

"Stormfly?!" Camicazi finally managed to say, her eyes never leaving the dragon.

Astrid laughed a little as she got another fish feeding it to Stormfly and then signaled Camicazi to do the same.

Gulping, Camicazi stepped forward and held out the fish. Stormfly sniffed it and then carefully took it, eating it at once. Camicazi was amazed by this, she still had her hand, but that only lasted short as Stormfly stepped forward and sniffed her.

"No wait, I'm not tasty!"

Astrid bursted into laughter and got Stormfly's attention with another fish as Camicazi watched her. After minutes she dared to step forward and stretched out her hand to touch the dragon. She stopped her actions immediately when Stormfly turned to look at her. Frozen she watched the dragon staring at her for a while before placing her snout against her hand.

Camicazi let out a sigh, breathing again, as she pet the dragon carefully. Then she turned her attention to Astrid.

"You're saying the people of Berk befriended dragons? Wait, if so why go find the nest?"

Astrid shook her head, her face covered with some sadness.

"No," she softly started, "in fact many don't agree with this. That is why she is here. Stoick is still all for killing dragons."

"How did you manage to convince him not to kill Stormfly?"

"Stormfly sided with me," Astrid smiled as she pet her dragon friend under her chin, "she doesn't like being controlled by a queen and fear for her life."

"Queen?" Camicazi asked confused as Astrid walked to the gate again.

"Yes. I will explain in a bit. Come, I actually really do need to gather some herbs."

With one last look on the blue scaled deadly nadder Camicazi followed Astrid outside. The gate was closed right behind her, much to Stormfly's dismay. Astrid soothed the dragon, promising to come back quickly and then dragged Camicazi along. They spend a good two hours search for herbs before sneaking through the town so not to be seen. Actually it was mostly Camicazi who was sneaking, since Astrid was allowed to go to Gothi's hut. The Bogs were told not to due to some sick person being there with a highly contagious illness.

Camicazi quickly sneaked inside the house and Astrid closed the door. The two girls got a look from Gothi and Astrid looked a little uncomfortable.

"Is it alright for her to see him?" she carefully asked.

Camicazi had no idea who Astrid was talking about, but remained quiet as Gothi studied her. It had been a long time since she last saw her and she still looked rather perky.

Gothi turned to look at Astrid.

"She met Stormfly already."

Gothi nodded and pointed with her stick to the door. Astrid whispered a thank you to the old lady as she pushed Camicazi forward to the room in the back of the house.

"You're about to meet another dragon. I'm pretty sure you never seen this one before. His name is Toothless and he's overprotective over the one in the bed. Just stay calm, okay."

Before Camicazi could even answer Astrid opened the door and walked inside. She was greeted by a big black dragon who whined a little to her. She kneeled down, gently stroking his head.

"No movement, huh. Don't worry. He will wake up."

Camicazi carefully stepped inside, looking at the dragon, one she indeed had never seen before. What she also never saw was a dragon looking this miserable. The dragon noticed her, but didn't see her as a threat for it didn't move.

"This is Camicazi, a friend," Astrid said and pulled the remaining fish she had from the bag she had been carrying.

Toothless watched them for a while, but ate them. Astrid got back to her feet placing the bag, that still had the herbs inside, on the table with pots and bowls.

"Why did you bring me here?" Camicazi asked still not understanding what Astrid wanted to show her.

Astrid turned around and pointed to the person in the bed. Confused, yet curious Camicazi walked to the bed and studied the boy she found there, or rather more like a young man at the end of his teenage years. His head was wrapped in bandages, which you could barely see due to the bangs of hair hanging over it. His arms and hands too were wrapped in bandages, it looked like he had been in a terrible fight or perhaps made terrible fall. Her eyes went over the many freckles on his face. From the moment she saw him, she had been telling herself it wasn't possible. That this was just some cruel joke… someone like him. But the more she looked at him, the more she was hoping it was him.

A hand on her shoulder made her look to her side, finding Astrid.

"I thought you of all people should know," she almost whispered.

"Is it really…" Camicazi started, still not believing her eyes.

"It's Hiccup," Astrid smiled at her.

"But…" Camicazi muttered looking at the boy in bed again, "he was dead…"

"No, he ran away on the back of a dragon."

Astrid looked down to Toothless. Camicazi watched the dragon who walked around them and tried to wake Hiccup by gently nudging his hand. He whimpered miserably and lay down, watching Hiccup. The information finally seemed to have gotten through Camicazi as tears rolled down her cheek and a broad smile covered her face.

"That is so like him," she managed to say, "he always had the craziest ideas of the three of us."

"Three?"

"Me, him and Thuggery. When we were young and there was a Thing or whatever, we would always get ourselves in trouble or have crazy schemes. Hiccup always managed to get us out of whatever mess we were in. He was also the one who took the blame most of the time."

"Oh right, sorry forgot about that. You three were responsible for that whole 'logs rolling down the harbor' incident."

Astrid couldn't help feeling amused when the busted look crossed Camicazi's face.

"Don't worry I never told anyone I saw who did that," she chuckled.

Camicazi looked relieved and turned her gaze back to Hiccup. Then the two girls jumped as they heard loud footsteps.

"Quick hide," Astrid hissed in pointed towards the bed.

Without a word or even thinking about it, Camicazi crawled under the bed, towards to the very end so she wouldn't be seen.

Hiccup heard sounds, words, but he couldn't really follow them. It sounded like they came from far away. He focused on them in an attempt to understand them and after a while he heard them well, but what was said was something he couldn't focus on properly. Some part of his mind was telling him he knew the voices he was hearing, but he couldn't place them. What he could tell was that there was quite a commotion going on. In the silence he wished they would bring their fight elsewhere, his head hurt a lot, well actually his whole body was hurting. He tried moving, but failed, he couldn't even bring himself to open his eyes. He sighed in his mind as he again tried to understand what was going on in the room, if he was in a room at all.

"He's my son, for Thor's sake!" one raged. It sounded male and very angry or perhaps desperate… with a pinch of regret? Maybe even hope? Hiccup didn't know and time to really dwell on it wasn't there because another shouted back at the first person.

"I said I would let you know when he wakes up, now get out!"

This time it sounded female and highly annoyed.

"I'm your chief, young lady. Now step aside."

"I wouldn't even let you in if you were Thor himself!"

Hiccup would have laughed if he could have done so, but he felt himself slip away back into the darkness. Perhaps the only reason he woke up like he did was because of all the shouting?

Astrid glared at the chief. There was absolutely no way she was letting him in. Not even because Camicazi was hiding under the bed, but because this two faced man had no right to sit here and show remorse after attempting to exile his son just three days ago. All he did was changing his mind, how on earth she had never noticed she didn't know, but she wasn't blind anymore.

"Out. Now," she hissed at him.

She got help from Gothi who wacked Stoick on the head and pointed him to the exit. Eventually the man left. Astrid let out a sigh and thanked the old woman for her help. Gothi smiled at her.

Camicazi came crawling out from under the bed looking at her with a wicked smile.

"You are awesome."

Astrid rolled her eyes, but grinned. The three women then tended to Hiccup's wounds as Astrid explained how Hiccup was controlled by a dragon queen just like Stormfly.

The next day Camicazi was walking around Berk, trying to find something to entertain herself after an afternoon of workout in the woods. Astrid had joined her for a while, but left to look after Hiccup. Of course Camicazi wanted to join her, but knew of the risks and wasn't in the mood of getting into trouble… yet. It was when she passed the docks and saw the Meathead ships she knew what to do. Something that might bring her into trouble.

She scanned the area and found a few Meathead tribe members entering the great hall. Not a big surprise, supper was soon served there and she herself was to be there in about half an hour for it. With strong steps she made her way towards it, ignored the scent of food greeting her as she entered and spotted the person she was looking for. A devious grin covered her face.

"Thuggery!" she shouted in an angry voice that made several Vikings there jump and turn towards her.

The one called knocked over his mug of mead and looked terrified at her as a he mouthed an 'oh no'. She marched right at him, as he was trying to leap away, but utterly failed and simply fell off the bench he was sitting on. Before he could get up, she grabbed hold of his vest and dragged him along.

"You are in for it now," she growled at him as she dragged him out the great hall as everyone was staring at the display.

Three chiefs were staring at the door that was slammed shut.

"I have to say Mogadon, your son acts rather pathetic," Bertha, the chief of Bog Burglars said, though she looked proud of her daughter.

"He's only like that around Camicazi," Mogadon, the chief of the Meathead tribe said as he stroke his beard, looking thoughtful for a moment, "Anyhow, let's eat and then discuss the dragon raids."

"Do you have to do that every time we meet?" Thuggery complained as he finally was allowed by Camicazi to get to his feet, "You're scarring the wits out of me."

He rubbed his sore back as Camicazi simply gave him a grin, making him sigh.

"Look, I'm happy to see you too, but now is not the time. If Stoick really knows how to get the nest then… wh-why are you looking at me like that?"

Camicazi's grin had falter the moment he said nest and had made place for one of her angry faces Thuggery really wanted to avoid. As he wondered what he had done wrong this time, he was grabbed by his wrist and guided along.

"Be quiet and don't get seen," she whispered.

Having no idea what it was about, he simply let himself be led by the girl. It wasn't like it was the first time she had crazy plans. He just hoped this one wasn't going to bring them in any trouble. He was then dragged inside the healer's house. When he wanted to make a comment about that, since he was told someone with a contagious illness was there, he was shushed. Twice. Then he was pulled into a room and jumped backwards when a black dragon with bright green eyes appeared right in front of him.

"Down Toothless!"

Thuggery watched at how the girl he knew as Astrid, jumped in between. The dragon still growled at him. Just him, Camicazi had been able to enter the room without any problem. Gaping and trying to understand why a dragon would be kept in a room and not a cage he looked from the creature to Astrid.

"Thuggery give me your weapons," Astrid said.

"My weapons?! Astrid have you gone crazy?!" he growled in disbelieve.

However Camicazi took matters in her own hands and took his sword from his belt and the knife he had hidden in his boots and handed them to Astrid. Damn that girl, why did he ever let her know where he hid his knife.

It surprised him that the moment Astrid was holding the weapons, the dragon calmed. It didn't seem to trust him, studying Thuggery from head to toe, but no longer growled at him or ready to launch himself to attack.

"Why did he do that? He didn't even move when I came in yesterday?" Camicazi asked.

"You had Stormfly's scent you," Astrid sighed as she placed the weapons away, "that was a very stupid move, Cami."

"We don't have much time and I thought Thuggery should know the truth too," Camicazi scowled.

"How about you girls start explaining me what is going on? Who the heck is Stormfly? Why is there a dragon in this room and why in the world is it not attacking now?! What in Thors name am I doing here anyway? We were told not to come here, because of someone with a contagious illness! I mean what the heck?!"

Astrid and Camicazi watched him as he panted with pent up frustration and sighed and took a moment to collect himself.

"Sorry, annoying boat ride, then got dragged off looking like a coward, followed by a dragon I have never seen before trying to attack me," he mumbled.

Astrid offered him a mug of water, which he gratefully took and drank in one gulp. It calmed him

"If we had more time, we would have prepared you for this more," Camicazi mumbled and looked over to Astrid.

"Right. I get it," the blonde sighed, "The dragon's name is Toothless. He attacked because you were carrying weapons and he doesn't trust people with weapons. Especially not when his friend is out cold. Camicazi was carrying Stormfly's scent, she's a deadly nadder. My dragon."

Thuggery wanted to open his mouth, but Camicazi made him unable to talk for she placed her hand on his mouth and pointed to Astrid that he had to listen.

"Toothless is a nightfury and is waiting for Hiccup to wake up."

This time Thuggery eyes grew wide as he looked over to the person in the bed.

"Yes Hiccup. There is no-one here with a contagious illness. Just Hiccup and Toothless. I can't believe Stoick would pull that one again."

Thuggery pushed Camicazi's hand away, "What do you mean 'again'?"

Astrid looked away from him and turned to the table with herbs, creams, ointments and potions. She grabbed a bowl and a few herbs and started mixing up a new ointment.

"Not my place to tell. Anyway, to give you the short version. Hiccup ran away on the back of Toothless. About two years or so ago he stumbled upon the nest, got in a fight with another dragon, lost his memory and was then controlled by the dragon queen of said nest. He's responsible for the more unsuccessful raids. Well in his successful. He has no memories of it though. One night I managed to knock them out of the sky, and when they left I tracked them after befriending a dragon myself. I found Hiccup, he was still controlled, I knocked him out of the sky and got is both caught by Stoick. By the time we were close to Berk he was no longer controlled, though had no memories of who he was. We almost got banished, but Valka, his mother who happened to be alive and was at the nest all those years, somehow managed to get some sense in Stoick and since then I have been trying to make Hiccup remember who he was. Four days ago after some freak accident so to say, he was knocked down from a cliff by Snotlout, which is why he is here."

Thuggery gaped at her and it took him a while before everything was processed. He looked over to the bed again and found his old friend out cold and in a rather bad shape. It looked like Astrid was taking care of the wounds when they had barged in. Which explained why she was mixing up an ointment.

"Whatever is going to happen, we have to keep everyone from going to that nest. That dragon queen is not something even the combined strength of three tribes can defeat," Astrid pleaded.

The urgency in her tone wasn't missed by Thuggery, so he nodded understanding.

"We'll do what we can," he said and turned to look at Camicazi, "we need to go back before they think you killed me."

Camicazi rolled her eyes as she let out a chuckle, "Like I would do that, it's way more fun to mess with you."

He blushed at how that had a double meaning and followed her outside. Just outside the room Astrid gave him his weapons back.

"Glad to see you let my son live," Mogadon said to Camicazi as he saw his son quickly ran over to him, rubbing his arm.

Camicazi glared at Thuggery before sitting down next to her mother. Somewhat worried Mogadon looked at his son and leaned over to him.

"What did she do?" he asked in a whispered.

"I rather not talk about that. Besides we have more important things to discuss," Thuggery mumbled, avoiding his father's eyes.

"Heh, the guy got beaten by a girl," someone laughed to which Thuggery stood up and slammed both his hands on the table.

"I can beat you up right now, Dogsbreath. And you and I both know the outcome of that!"

The boy shrunk down the table, to which Mogadon grinned and then turned his attention back to Stoick.

"So what is the plan? I am curious as to how you plan on finding the nest. You wrote in youer letter you found a way."

Stoick smiled as he stood up and rolled out the map. Both Mogadon and Bertha expected him to point it out right then and there, but that didn't happen.

"The information I have gotten is that a big dragon lives in the nest, controlling the other dragons. I'm sure with our combined strength we can take out that big one and all the others will just fly away then," Stoick started, "Now if someone would get Astrid for me? She knows how to get there."

Camicazi eyes grew wide for a moment, but she immediately took action and stood up.

"I saw her on the way here, I'll go get her," she said and without giving Stoick the time to protest she walked away. Outside the great hall she started running as all she could think that this situation was really really bad.
