With a steady hand Jackie carefully shelled some of the wiring inside of a bumper car's mini engine, trying to fix whatever the hell Boris did to them to try and made them go faster. Stupid freaking cat, she absolutely hated it when he messed with the rides since she always had to figure out what the hell he did to them.

"Hey, b****," Black's voice called out, surprising Jackie to see him there.

"Oh, hey." Jackie said, looking up at him and letting the b**** comment slide considering Black was … well, Black. "Did you get some new padlocks for the cells or do you need me to test some out?" Jackie asked, "whichever it is will have to wait I've got a lot of work backed up here." She said, staring at him.

"I don't f***ing care. There's a psycho foreigner lost somewhere. Have you seen that idiot? Did she came to play with you or whatever you would do in your world for bonding?" He growled while crossing his arms.

Jackie perked up, a bit surprised. "No I haven't seen her. I've been working here trying to catch up on all the work that's been piling up." She answered.

"F***ing d***it." Black hissed in annoyance. "Well if you see her go take her out to town or some s***." He ordered, turning around to leave.

"Why the hell should I?" Jackie asked in annoyance. "She tried to use me to destroy Wonderland and now you're telling me to go hang out with her?"

"Don't be a stupid c***. Just go bond or whatever it is you foreigners do." Black scowled angrily at her. "She didn't used you for that. She would have done it without you anyways. She didn't use you so she likes you. Maybe."

Jackie blinked. "She does?" Jackie asked, trying to keep her voice uncaring but her eyes were shining. Maybe now she could make a friend that wasn't so desperate for Alice's attention.

Black sighed, reading her face like a d*** book. "Next time you see her you don't let her leave unless it's with a G**d*** smile on her face, got it?" He said, narrowing his eyes at her.

"Yeah, sure, I'll give it a shot." Jackie casually said before she tried thinking about where they could go to hang out. "But … um, Black? How do I do that?"

"The heck, I know. Just write some friendship contract or something tangible. She is a crackpot." Black groaned, thinking on how the heck he was actually her best friend … or why she was his.

"Really? A contract?" Jackie asked with a frown as she thought about it. She could do that.

"She acknowledges legal crap and that's as honorable as she can get, that and her mercenary word, so who the fuck knows, it might work. And do swing by to test some locks later."

"Yeah, sure." Jackie said, tapping her lip in thought. "But what would she get out of it? Why would she sign it?" Jackie asked.

"I don't know and I don't give a s***. Just say it's Joker approved or whatever. If you see her to tell her to get her ass back to prison" He cussed and then turned away, disappearing.

Jackie went back to working on the ride, making a few last connections before she gently lowered the cart down and hopped inside, driving it back into the ring and parking it in the back before she left to go work on another one.

"Hey!" Aria fell down right in front of Jackie from above a ride.

Jackie let out a startled shout, stumbling back. Once Jackie was sure her life was not about to be ended she hunched over slightly, putting a hand over her heart. Freaking Aria, that scared her. "Popping in and out of existence like that is going to give me a heart attack." Jackie said, nervously chuckling and shaking off her surprise. "So uh, what's up?" Jackie asked, smiling.

"..."

" … is something wrong?" Jackie asked, taking a nervous step back. Yikes … Aria seemed kind of scary at the moment. She seemed like she was in a bad mood.

"Let's go for a coffee." Aria responded.

"Uh, sure." Jackie agreed before thinking about what she said. Coffee? Really? Ugh. Well, if this was a chance to get to know her better then she could suffer through a coffee or two to do it. "Which uh, place do you want to go?" Jackie asked, "oh, but uh, I'll have to get changed real quick." Jackie said, fretting over her oil stained uniform.

"... no, someone could follow. Just come. Do you like sweets and chocolate?" Aria vaguely asked, looking away.

"O-Okay. And yeah, I do." Jackie said, feeling the suffocatingly awkward tension in the air as she nervously sweat bullets. "Just lead the way." Jackie said, walking over to her tools and tidying them up before hiding them inside the ride for the time being.

"I'll do so. But put this bag over your head first." Aria extended her hand, holding out a bag that looked … well, much too dark to be any fabric that Jackie ever saw.

Jackie paused, staring at the bag before looking back at Aria. Jackie didn't have to even ask to know that she was serious about her putting it on her head. Staring at the bag, Jackie really began questioning herself about whether or not they should be friends. But, she still wanted to try. "Yeah, sure. Just uh, can you promise you won't lead me to my imminent demise?" Jackie asked, nervously and stiffly laughing before trailing off into silence and waiting for her answer.

"I can promise that. No imminent demise caused directly by me or on the way to that coffee." Aria promised.

"Can you promise me that I'll get home safe in a timely manner?" Jackie asked, feeling the fabric between her fingers. She began wondering just how badly she wanted a somewhat sane friend in Wonderland.

"I'll let you go in a safe place near after this coffee." Aria answered, but she seemed bothered. "Do you want to f***ing come or not? You realize I'm risking myself just by being here and exposing myself at this very moment?"

"Oh, uh, yeah, fine, let's go." Jackie said, putting the bag on over hear head and leaving enough room to breathe.

Aria twisted Jackie a couple times to disorientated her and then began dragging her around, left, right, right, straight, turn, back, right, left up, down, who knows where. Eventually, they reached some place in town but Jackie had no idea where. Aria knocked on a door in certain rhythm and a door opened. There was the noise of people moving very fast and then Jackie was led to a soft couch and the bag sort of dissolved from her head to show they were in a very fancy tea room with fancy and cute porcelain among overly decorated baroque style furniture.

Jackie blinked, looking around the room in surprise. She half expected to be in some underground dungeon but this place looked pretty nice. "Where are we?" Jackie asked, curious.

"In a safe place were we can have a coffee." Aria responded, sitting in front of Jackie, and somehow, she was now wearing an elegant dress suit instead of all her bulky armor, even though she just let go of Jackie's wrist moments before. "Now … would you prefer black coffee, cappuccino, or else?"

"Anything sweet is fine." Jackie said, noticing the very scary looking faceless lining the wall. This was almost as uncomfortable as when she was present at a sit down between Gowland and Blood. Jackie took note of Aria's unmasked appearance, a little surprised she wasn't wearing the mask but decided not to comment on it.

Some faceless with cute fluffy triangular ears approached and prepared a foamy coffee for Jackie, a nice dark frappuccino for Aria, and presented a plate of very delicate and delicious looking treats.

"Thank you, Fiore." Aria said, grabbing a small green flower that happened to be green tea pastry. "Please leave the coffee machine. We'll be fine alone."

The faceless guy wagged his short dark and bushy tail before stepping back and leaving along with the rest of the personnel, looking quite happy.

Jackie quietly watched them leave, now very curious as to where they were.

"So … I assure you this is a safe place. So tell me about yourself." Aria took a sip of her beverage.

Jackie remained still, forcing herself to smile. She didn't feel very safe. But, at least this was something. "Well, what do you want to know?" Jackie asked, taking a sip of the very tasty coffee. She smiled as her eyes began to glow in delight. This coffee was so tasty-! She eagerly took another sip, licking off the foam from her upper lip.

"Well … I don't know, just ... Mmhh … tell me about yourself before you came to this world and then from when you came here." Aria began drinking. "If you want some specific treat or another beverage just tell me and I'll ask for it."

"Oh, thanks. Well, I was a mechanic running mostly a small family business in New York. My father and I were the ones who worked while my mother stayed at home and my brother went off partying most nights." Jackie explained, not sure where to really begin. "I worked a lot - I was taking some college courses online since we didn't have much money and I would play the violin at some parties whenever I was needed." Jackie admitted, staring at the foam in her cup with a smile.

"You play the violin? And you have it?" Aria grabbed another pastry, finding it interesting that she knew how to play such an instrument. At first glance Jackie didn't look like she could play anything.

"Yeah, I fell into Wonderland with it and my wrench. My brother actually plays better than I can but I can play pretty well too." Jackie smiled. "Did you fall into Wonderland with anything? Apparently I was lucky that I had some personal belongings with me. Alice mentioned she just came with just the clothes on her back." Jackie asked.

"I didn't exactly fall. I jumped into the hole for cover with whatever I was carrying. But what's your relation with Alice? I'm curious. It really doesn't strike me as if you two got close." Aria half evaded the question. But at least she confirmed that a foreigner came to this world with apparently anything she had with her at the moment she was 'chosen' and taken here.

"Hm." Jackie frowned, glancing away. "We don't get along very well but she seems fine." Jackie admitted before sipping on the drink. "We don't talk much since she's pretty obsessed with Blood." She shrugged.

"But I suppose you have visited the mansion often to visit her … or maybe been forced to visit it because Alice wanted to see you, right?" The merc sprinkled some cinnamon over her drink, awaiting the the mechanic's answer.

"I'm fairly friendly with most everyone at the mansion. Elliot and I are pretty good friends and I talk to the twins every now and then but I don't talk much to the Blood. Any time with him is filled with not so subtle jabs at Alice. Although it is kind of fun to see them argue." Jackie laughed with a smile, managing to loosen up a bit.

"Who would have thought he is such an insecure male." Aria twisted her head and cracked her neck. "Yes, I supposed there was no problem until they denied you access the other day. What about the other territories?"

"Well," Jackie started, thinking about it. "I rarely go to Clock Tower. Julius seems nice enough but moppy. I spend most of my time at the Amusement Park working and I try to avoid Heart Castle in its entirety." Jackie frowned, thinking of Vivaldi and how much she loved to see heads roll.

"Avoiding the castle would be a wise move, although there are some interesting sights in there." Of course she didn't mention which. "I assume the same for the other tower?"

"Oh, I do also like the Circus and Jail." Jackie grinned. "The Circus is fun to work at and when I go to the jail it's fun to see Black get frustrated when I break out of his pathetic excuses for a jail cell." Jackie laughed.

"Black could improve a lot of things but he would get very bored with nothing to do." She smiled, amused.

"Are you close with Joker, Aria?" Jackie asked, curious. Although it was a dumb question; of course they were, they were banging the last time she saw them. Jackie sipped on her drink, trying to think of something else to ask her.

"What did it look like to you the other day?" Aria rolled her eyes. "He is my best friend."

"Yeah? Well, he can be much more pleasant than other Role Holders, that's for sure." Jackie smiled, deciding to talk about Joker for a bit. "He pays well which is really nice and it's definitely fun to change up my work a bit by going there. Although Gowland sure as hell doesn't like me there." Jackie cheekily grinned.

"I'm sure everyone 'warned' you about Joker but never told you why. F***ing hypocrites." She twisted her long spoon in her glass. "If you can tolerate him bothering you every so often because he gets bored, he ain't as bad."

"You got that right." Jackie chuckled. "He's a pretty good friend now but when it comes time for my game I'll be sure to be a little more weary." She admitted. "I've got a lot of crap in my past I don't need being thrown into my face." She sighed.

"Don't worry about it. Didn't I told you that your game is never coming?" Aria smiled. "But do tell, some of that past. I can at least give you some intel on how to avoid it being used against you."

"Oh … well, uh," Jackie hesitated, glancing away. Well, that was a rather blunt way to put it. "It's nothing too terrible really, just mostly emotional trauma." Jackie admitted nervously.

"It can't be too light if it led to trauma." Aria pointed out. "Do try the pastries. The chocolates are delicious. I assure you nothing is poisoned."

"Well, yeah. It's been a year before it stopped … kind of." Jackie admitted nervously. "And thanks for not poisoning the chocolates." Jackie laughed although she knew it probably wasn't a joke. She took a chocolate, eating it before perking up in surprise. "Oh, that's really good!" Jackie said, checking out the chocolates some more.

"Of course they are really good. These are the top stuff you can get in this world." Aria said with mild pride. "If you still want to go back to our world do get the rest of the notebooks or do whatever with the info on the ones you already have. Other than that, if you plan to stay I would recommend you to get the f*** away from the holders. They will be consumed by their roles and even more so by the desperate impulse of the game, and however much they think they crave Alice, they might try to turn to the closest thing."

"Yeah I'll be careful." Jackie smiled. "I'll start looking for the rest of the books too. Since ending my game won't do it I'll have to find another way out." Jackie said with a sharp nod.

"Yeah, whatever." Aria shrugged. "I however remind you to keep quiet about me." She looked sharply at Jackie, her eyes litting in a red light for a moment. "You understand why, no? And if you don't … well, keep quiet anyways."

"I've done well so far." Jackie proudly smiled. "And yeah, I won't tell anyone." She said, sipping her delicious drink.

"You better not." Aria finished her own drink.

"I won't." Jackie grinned.

"Now that we have some time … do tell me all about your stay in this world. I'm curious." Aria prepared herself some cold black coffee.

MWMWMWMWMWWMMWMWMWWMWMWMWMMWWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMMWW

"And that just about sums it up." Jackie finally finished with a heavy sigh, sipping on her cold drink to quench her dry throat.

By the end of the rant, Aria was almost sleeping in her chair. "Ok...well, look at the time, it's late and you wanted to get home timely, no?" Aria yawned. "I'll get someone to drop you near the amusement park."

"Thanks I appreciate it. Oh, what do you think about a friendship contract?" Jackie asked with a nervous smile.

"A what?" Aria half woke up.

"You know, like a, a friendship contract." Jackie said, as though that explained everything.

"Which is?" Aria rose an eyebrow.

"A contract to be friends that tells you the do's and don't's of being in a friendship." Jackie suggested, slowly feeling more and more ridiculous as she went on.

"You want to be friends with me?" Aria rose her to her eyebrow.

"Well, yeah." Jackie said, still smiling although it was losing its luster quickly.

"Did Joker suggested it?" The merc was still incredulous.

"Yeah. Black came by earlier and said it might be easier for you to understand if I wrote it out in detail." Jackie said.

"Well … if he says it might be worth it … write your proposal in detail and we'll see." Aria said, standing up and stretching.

"Yeah, definitely." Jackie said, excitedly smiling as she stood up as well and ate a couple more pieces of chocolate, figuring she won't be able to eat chocolate this good for a while.

Ok, put the bag on again and someone will take you away. From out of nowhere, Aria presente her with bag made of the same black material than her dress.

"Yeah, alright. I'll type up that contract tonight." Jackie grinned. "Um, how can I find you when I'm done? Or if it's a friendship emergency?" Jackie asked.

"Oh right." The sound of writing on paper was barely heard before Aria put a letter in Jackie's hand. "If it's absolutely necessary to find me, come to the back door of the royal staircase bakery and confectionary and present that letter. Anyone but you using it will be killed … eventually, same for you if you use it recklessly."

"Y-Yeah, got it. Emergencies only." Jackie said, nodding.

Julius casually walked through the streets of his territory after grocery shopping. Maybe he normally didn't noticed but given how notoriously changed everything seemed was impossible even for him to not notice. There were many buildings under construction or remodeling, many businesses of all kinds, some of which he hadn't seen before and even a bank. Things were different somehow.

It wasn't as if anything had changed, though. The attacks on his person were still as often as always, the clocks delivered to him were as many as always … no, nothing. Maybe it was that his territory was neutral but he also wasn't aware if there were any changes somewhere else, and frankly it didn't matter to him.

"Hey ay, Julius!" Gowland cheerfully shouted with a grin, walking over to Julius with some wine in his possession. "Rare to catch you out of the tower." He laughed, slapping Julius on the back and making him stumble forward a bit before righting himself.

"Gowland? What are you doing here?" Julius asked with really not much surprise upon seeing the bottle.

"Well, let's go on up and have a drink." Gowland grinned, hooking his arm around Julius's neck and marching on with him towards Clock Tower.

"Get off." Julius growled, pushing Gowland's arm off as they walked up the stairs of the tower into his office.

Julius put his groceries on the counter before bringing out some wine glasses.

Gowland eagerly poured them both some wine, going ahead and drinking it rather quickly as he grinned. "How are ya, Julius?" He asked with a smile.

"As fine as could be expected." Julius crossed his arms and then sighed, taking a seat in front of Gowland. "Is this some normal drinking without meaning or would you like to discuss something before you are too drunk to even remember why you are wasting my time?"

"Come on, don't be like that." Gowland laughed. "There's nothing wrong with coming over for a drink every now and then to check up on ya." He grinned. "Somebody's gotta make sure you're healthy since you don't."

"My health is fine. So you don't need to come." Julius grabbed his glass and took a sip.

"It's fine, really. It's nice takin' a chance to drop by and say hello." Gowland grinned before turning his head slightly and yawning, stretching himself out.

"Don't fall asleep here again, at least stop drinking when you can still walk back to your territory" Julius obviously huffed, however he did refill both their glasses.

"Sorry sorry." Gowland chortled, going ahead and taking another sip of wine. "Construction is goin' on like crazy outside the Amusement Park so I haven't been sleepin' well." He sighed. "There's an awful lot of construction going on over here too. Don't know what's going on but the townsfolk faceless seem pretty chipper with all the new buildings." He laughed. "Which is good! A happy town is a happy life." He slightly slurred at the end before grinning wildly.

"There's construction in your territory too?" Julius perked up. "It's..strange. Have you noticed anything weird about the new buildings? I'm not sure, but they seem different somehow."

"Well, I don't think it's a problem really. If money is flowin' good in the Town then it'll be flowin' into the park just fine." Gowland shrugged. "And no, not really. What's strange about them? Just lots of constructions in the poorest areas that are the ones farthest from the park. And some right besides it." He asked.

"The style is different, the buildings are all very tall. 7 to 10 floors with shops at the base and almost on the same style although they seem to be very different in the layout inside. I would understand a few, but dozens? Who has the money for that?" Julius drank some more, now actually thinking about it.

"Huh. Didn't figure you for noticing all that." Gowland chuckled. "Who knows, maybe that b****** Blood is building up the shadier parts for business." He suggested, scratching his nose for a moment. "Then again, Boris told me that the same thing is happening over by the Hatters. Wonder which faceless faction it is." Gowland sighed, seeming slightly bothered by it. "Well, as long as it doesn't bother business I don't care what they do." He smiled.

"I suppose so." Julius agreed, not caring anymore. "And what about your mechanic? Has she shown any signs of madness?"

"Nah, not really." Gowland said, sitting up. "She's just been working hard and fast before returning to her apartment for a while. Boris saw her writing something up but it was probably reports for the rides. I don't even read those but it's so cute how she tries." Gowland laughed with a proud smile of his employee who works hard. "She's been workin' real hard the past thirty some time changes.

"And what about the relic? Did you figured out who stole it?" Julius frowned at his glass, and then emptied the bottle to refill once more.

"Not a thing. It's back in its rightful place and that's what matters. I got guards on it for the time being just in case the thief returns." He said with a grin. "I dare anyone to come steal it now with all the recent upgrades I've done." He heartily laughed.

Julius didn't respond to that. Instead, he went to a cabinet to get another bottle of wine.

In a secure office with elegant wood finishes situated quite underground, certain foreigner mercenary had her laptop and tablet over a great desk that was also filled with towers of papers and scale models. At her right there was design table full of designs and at her left was a smaller service table with an empty jar of coffee and some untouched food. In front of the desk, a line of personnel waited their turn to speak with her while she typed furiously, dictated continuously, and revised what she could.

"Lady Aria, it's been 50 time changes since you came back to us. We understand much is yet to be done and we are truthfully overjoyed to have you again … but you should take a small break. Here is the report for your coffee breaks. You have skipped them all and instead kept on working while drinking more coffee." A woman said, handing her a piece of paper.

Aria took the paper, barely glanced over it and then put over a tray a bit too far and at the edge of her desk before grabbing a heavy report on urban farms while looking at the designs. "Yes well, things are not going to be done by themselves and there are way many more projects we can do to gain total power. You guys have been doing so well that I can't stay behind, can I?"

Despite her words, her appearance said otherwise. She had dark circles under her eyes, her hair was slightly messy, her nose was somewhat red but not as bad as her almost bleeding eyes, and she was almost crouching on her chair due to keeping herself seated for way too many hours.

"Please, lady Aria, we insist you take a break," the young woman that brought her another jar of coffee smiled, nervously handing her four reports of various things that needed revising. "Why not trust your everyone in helping organize the smaller tasks while you rest for a bit?" She suggested, worried for her berceuses health.

Aria badly attempted a smile. "I already did, Miri. There are many committees and teams. Everyone has been working very hard. So how can I not do so too and revise all the things they send me to revise?" Aria grabbed the jar and didn't even bother with a cup. The jar was her cup. "Someone pass me the report of land bought. I need to check what's the territory balance progression in our aduisitions regarding the urban farm projects. And get the team B-4 to check on possible aquaculture development or at least aquaponics. The more self sustenance we have the better."

One of the young men listening to her rant softly sighed, exhausted just listening to her before handing her 5 more reports. "You could always sneak away for a few days, my lady, to recuperate." He suggested with a tired smile. "I'm sure even you can allow yourself rest even at a time like this."

"Well, I will take a break eventually but first I need to leave the guidelines for the local biodiversity with exploitation analysis, the research for biodegradable plastic, the acquisition of mining rights and planning of processes factories, oh, there's also the social banking ideas for our new bank, too and … "

"Lady Aria." A woman interrupted. She was the Berceuse in charge when Aria wasn't around, and when the mercenary came back she was the first one to put her back in charge. Nora was her second in command. "You need a break, now." She crossed her arms. "I won't even mention the coffee breaks, the bathroom breaks, the smoke breaks, the experiments of the infiltrators breaks, or the meal breaks … "

"You kinda just did … ," Aria waved her hand.

"Well. Let's make a deal, my lady. You will revise only the pile of reports on the left of your jar, and then you will take a break. We'll take care of all so that everything can be presented in the same meeting and then you'll have free time. Does that sounds good?"

Aria sighed, knowing she couldn't even keep herself awake for more than a couple time changes more at best. "Fine … "

A young man smiled as he calmly picked the papers up and set them on the other side of the jar while she just watched, too tired to stop him before it was too late; there were now no more papers past the jar that she could do.

"That … I'm proud of you. That was a sly move." Aria pointed out with her finger extended, smiling at their wit. She grabbed the edge of her desk to stand up and then she stretched, cracking her bones before giving some instructions and going out to her quarters to take a long nap. After that she could go roam a bit and maybe go visit Joker. It might had been a few days but she missed the b******.

Jackie laid on White's couch, exhausted as she struggled to stay away. Over the past fifty some time changes she had written no less than 29 contracts, expanding on every tiny detail possible with each failed one in order to get Joker's approval of it. She had barely had any sleep in that time and was very close to falling asleep on White's comfortable couch. With a soft sigh she closed her eyes, getting ready to rest for a little bit.

"I think this one is finally ready and covers all." White said.

Jackie's eyes burst open before she shot up, looking shocked. "REALLY?!" She shouted, first in disbelief before her eyes glowed excitedly. "S-So is it ready for her to sign right now?" Jackie asked, leaning towards him.

"I don't see why not. All possible escape routes seem to be covered … although you'd do well to memorize this." White said, taking out from his clothes a small stuffed toy that was holding a pen. He took the pen and put the stuffed toy back with care in its pocket before he started to sign his approval on every single page on both sides.

"A-All 837 pages … ," Jackie trailed off in thought. She just wrote whatever came to mind in explaining everything. EVERYTHING. Now that she was thinking about it, who in their right mind would sign this? Well, with Joker's approval of it, maybe Aria will sign it. She seemed to respect and value Joker's… opinion.

"Of course. If there's even one signature of approval missing she won't even consider it." White smiled, humming as he continued to sign up everything properly.

"O-Oh, okay." Jackie said, thankful for Joker's help. "So uh, White, what uh … what is your relationship with Aria? Are you boyfriend and girlfriend or just lovers?" Jackie curiously asked, wondering what were the chances he'd give Aria his connector, letting Jackie start her game.

"Oh?" White asked with a smile, leaning back in his chair while he continued to sign the papers. "What would you think we are, my dear?" White asked, signing away on the pages.

"W-Well, Aria said you were best friends but it seems like you're more than that." Jackie admitted, curious for White's answer.

"It's true that we are quite the best of friends but I wouldn't mind much more." He smiled, tapping the pen to his lips before signing off on the next page.

"Since it's technically Aria's game, does that have any effect on you?" Jackie asked, trying to be subtle about it but her face was pretty clear on her intentions of wanting Joker and Aria to get together so Jackie's game could start.

White smiled, continuing to sign away swiftly on the papers. "Of course. Joker is affected by all foreigners just as any other Role Holder. However, the star of the game holds our interest the most." He explained in a very calm manner as he continued.

"But I thought you were slightly different, right? Don't you mostly test the foreigner, trying to make her make a decision of either staying or leaving?" Jackie asked, wondering if that affected him in the game - which she imagined it would. "Aria said something like that."

"My role may be slightly different but my feelings remain the same. I love the foreigners, but most of all the star." White said before turning his gaze over to Jackie. "You seem to be asking quite a lot of questions, dear. Are you wanting me?" He asked with an amused smile.

"Not at all. By all means, take Aria." Jackie directly said, waving off his accusation.

White laughed, seeming thoroughly enjoying himself. "Well, I am taking her right now in any way I please." He smiled. "I'm wounded that you rejected me so readily." White smiled, continuing to sign the papers.

"Well, you're my part time boss, so that's weird." Jackie said with a laugh, "but, anyway, so you love Aria most of all, right?" Jackie grinned, trying to figure out how to tell him to go ahead and put his connector on Aria as fast as possible.

"Oh yes." White smiled, his eyes narrowing ever so lightly before he toothily grinned. "I hold Aria in quite the high regards. She is defiant and vicious, and would destroy Wonderland in a heartbeat should she decide it." He said his hand seeming to tremble slightly in his excitement that began leaking into his voice. "She is not only strong willed but physically strong. She's seen Wonderland for what it is and when she isn't trying to destroy it, she builds it up to suit her tastes. At one point she had every single Role Holder by the very throats of their existences, getting whatever she so desired from the cowardly wretches." White continued, his signatures becoming faster and harder pressed into the pages. "She is a foreigner who is being fed by Wonderland rather than feeding it and only by her mercy do we all still exist. I could not imagine a more thrilling woman in my existence." White said with a shaky smirk, a flush appearing on his face before he licked his lips, signing the pages faster and faster before he suddenly stopped, closing his eyes and letting out a shaky breath before looking back up at Jackie with his usual kind smile. "That being said, my dear, there is always room in my clock for another foreigner." He said in an almost mechanical way, making it sound less convincing.

"R-Right." Jackie said, glancing away in silence. Okay so that's the end of this conversation. There was no way she was going to bring up the idea of a connector now - it was too tense at the moment. However … "Hey, Joker. Why don't you give Aria your connector?" Jackie asked, intensely staring at Joker. Joker could be her only chance of ending Aria's game.

Joker almost tore the page with his pen. He stared at the papers, thinking about her words before he looked up and smiling at her. "The time is not right at the moment." He smiled, not saying anything more on the subject.

Jackie's eyes glowed. S-So that means she had a chance to get Joker to give his connector to Aria. She grinned, leaning back on the couch. Perfect! It was only a matter of time before Joker gave his connector to her. It looks like she just had t be a bit patient for a bit.

"There we are." White smiled, shuffling the papers back together in a neat and orderly bunch. "Let us take this to Aria now." He smiled, walking over to Jackie and setting his hand on her shoulder before the room shifted.

Wait, Aria was there? Then it was perfect! Jackie excitedly grinning before she heard some loud moaning. She froze as White set the stack of paper into her arms and the pen before he turned towards the bed with the moving figures on it, going ahead and taking off his shirt before jumping onto the bed with them.

Jackie's jaw dropped as she tightly held the papers and looked away. "A-Aria, I have the contract ready and it's Joker approved." Jackie asked rather loudly, trying to block out the sounds of their moaning from her brain. "S-So I'll leave this in uh, your room for you to read." She said, turning around to walk away.

A mass of darkness formed in the floor and some tendrils grabbed the papers from her. "I'll take this." A deep male voice with a heavy russian accent spoke through the darkness, flipping through the pages past one by one.

Aria moaned and then gave a sudden yelp at whatever one of the Joker's did. However, her eyes shined as she asked via instructions what the contract contained.

"This human is desperate and lonely and needs a friend. Just like you are desperate and lonely and need a female companion for meaningless actions that ensure some level of normality." The voice said, making Jackie stiffen up a bit at his explanation. "It's safe to sign as it does not contain any harmful proposals. In fact many are laughably amusing."

"Yes, dear" White moaned. "I revised it all and I approve. Its harmless."

"Ok, if you say so … ," Aria responded with a moan and a bite to his lip. "Ok, Jackie, take it to my lawyers and-" She started but a stiff groan made her cut off her words.

"It would be better if you merely signed it now dear. Otherwise it will be lost in legal limbo." White smiled as he got under her and held her, gently kissing her neck and jaw.

"You can sign on the first and last page and I'll add rubrics" The voice said from the shadows, a dark tentacle approaching her the papers and a pen.

"Fine…" Aria extended her hand to shakily grab the pen and messily sign on those 2 places before dropping the pen to grab onto White as she began moving in pace to Black's action. The bed hitting the wall in rhythm.

Jackie quickly held up the contract victoriously and grinned. "Alright, awesome! Later let's hang out." Jackie said before she quickly fled the room, deeply blushing in embarrassment at seeing Aria and Joker like that again. She quickly shut the door, holding the contract triumphantly before shuddering at the fact she stayed in there that long just to have the contract signed. Was she really that desperate for a real friend?

… who cares, Aria signed the contract.

Jackie grinned, trotting off to leave it in Aria's room.
