(Lucy POV)

"N-Natsu? W-whats going on? I-I don't understand," I stuttered at with surprise, I looked around the guild and there was an ORGANISED party. Fairy tail doesn't usually or ever do ORGANISED!

"It's an early birthday party for you Luce, we were going to throw you a party on Friday, but.. well Sting and Rogue showed up, and I assumed since they are here you might not stay," Natsu said scratching the back of his head. I ran and hugged him, I was so happy I could cry! They didn't hate me, I wasn't a replacement, I not so softly hit his head.

"Stuuupid~ why did you ignore me?" I spoke softly still hugging him as he grumbled and rubbed his head, I was trying my best to restrain my tears.

"Uh.. so we didn't ruin the surprise?" Natsu said rubbing the back of his head again. I released him from my grip.

"You are all idiots I swear," I laughed with the brightest smile she'd had in months.

"So, are we going to party or not?"Master yelled and the whole guild shook with yells.

This was the guild I know and love, wild, drunk and happy. I dragged Sting into the guild and we had fun laughing at the rest of the drunkards, I also hid in embarrassment as some of my guildmates told him stories of my recklessness and other antics in the guild. Rogue just sat in the corner with the exceeds I found it quite amusing that he only showed emotion when he was with them, it was also kinda cute.
I can see why he looks up to Gajeel, their all too similar though one thing I do know that is definitely different which is that Gajeel has feelings for a certain solid script bookworm friend of mine.
By the time I left the guild for my apartment everyone was either drunk and out of it on the floor (well except for Cana obviously) Or they'd gone home hours ago. I was walked home by Sting and Rogue, unfortunately, Natsu was one of those that was blackout drunk on the floor I found it rather funny because even in a drunken sleep he was fighting Gray.

Rogue and Sting kinda just blended in with the background chatting about something as I balanced on the side of the river, I hadn't drunk much but I was tired so to make sure I didn't trip like earlier I kept my focus deep on my feet. I didn't really get a chance to talk with my brother or his best friend due to the fact that all my friends kept appearing to apologise for ignoring me. A thing I found which was rather strange was that Natsu didn't leave my side once and he wouldn't stop bugging me to dance. I must admit it was cute the way he pouted and begged... wait.. what? I did not just think that! Shaking my head I continued on with my walk along the river bank not realising my brother and Rogue weren't the only dragon slayers following me home.

(Natsu's POV)

I didn't want to leave Lucy to those two dragon slayers. I may have been passed out for a little while but I woke up thanks to stupid Ice brain and noticed them leaving. I didn't trust them yet, especially that Rogue guy he reminds me of Iron face too much. Plus Lucy, no matter how much she may deny it, was a little bit drunk and I knew how she likes to balance along the side of the river by her apartment and the thought she might be ahead of the boys and not paying attention to where she was going scared me, I didn't want to lose my best friend again, I don't think I'd handle it well.

Once I'd gotten to her apartment I did a Spider-Man thingy where I peeked into her window from the roof and saw her being put to bed by the two dragon slayers and they stayed until she finally fell asleep. After she had fallen asleep I stayed just to be sure they weren't doing anything sketchy and overheard the two slayers talking though it was kind of hard to hear from where I was as they had moved further into the apartment.

"It's a shame she has to leave them on Friday, she really loves them. 'specially Natsu..." Sting sighed,

"Don't get all mushy now Sting, you're mother left you with Weisslogia, Skiadrum and me to be able to defeat that asshole with your sister when the time was right... and that time is Friday. You'd better not back out purely because she's happy here," Rogue said in his monotone as usual.

"Do you think she'll be annoyed that she has to turn 10 again? I mean that's got to be hard to go through puberty twice... and deal with having an adults mind in a child's body. It's enough to make someone go crazy. Imagine her seeing Natsu or her friends when she was in that form?" Sting said, I didn't quite get a grasp of what they were saying, so, that was when I busted in, curious about what in the hell they were on about.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! LUCY CAN'T LEAVE, SHE'S THE SUNSHINE OF THE GUILD AND WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT BEING 10 AGAIN! ARE YOU FREAKING CRAZY!" I yelled at him I refuse to lose Luce. I glared at the two boys who were sat casually on the sofa discussing everything and I began to rant about how Lucy was too special in the guild to leave, as I ranted at them I noticed Lucy move in her sleep so I grabbed the two and dragged them to the park where I could yell at them some more.

"Lucy and I are the son and daughter of Layla Heartfelia. Laya was Queen of the dragons, and on Lucy's 17th birthday I will have to take her to the celestial spirit dragon, where she will be turned back to a 10-year-old and learn dragon slayer magic, once she has achieved this goal she shall team up with me, Rogue and the other dragon slayers to defeat the true dark force of the world. It is vital that this happens and that me and Lucy can avenge our mother from that horrific black beast." Sting said, in the calmest way possible though there was a definite growl in his voice, I, on the other hand, was all but calm.

"BUT LUCY CAN'T LEAVE!" I yelled again unsure of how to retaliate, I understood what Sting was saying but there was no way I was going to willingly comply with it.

Rogue face-palmed and they waited for me to calm down and become somewhat rational. Though it took a while.

"Well you should all get as much time with Luce cause we're definitely leaving Friday, no matter how much you care for her no one can afford to wait another year," Sting said before walking away in a sort of cool fade into the dark way.

Though I now know why I don't trust him. He's too full of himself, he won't take my Luce away from me.

'I'm gonna lose my Luce, the one I helped get into fairy tail, the one I saved on numerous occasions... t-the one I-' my thoughts are cut off by Rogue smirking at me.

"You have a small crush on the little Blondie." Rogue teased, I glared though I must admit my face went hot and it was slightly shocking to see the unemotional one try and tease me.

"N-no I don't! Luce is just my Best friend! I refuse to lose my best friend again!" I yelled, Trying hard to deny with all my being what he was saying, though I knew he was right,

"Yeah.. yeah... but what Sting said is true. she has to come with us, the fate of everyone rests on Lu coming with us" Rogue said as he walked away with a smirk plastered on his face, it was quite creepy, like Metal face when I first fought him.

'That Rogue creeps me out, He says too little and thinks too much,' I thought as I walked sulking back to Luce's apartment, I snuck in the window as usual and climbed into her bed and wrapped my arms around her tightly. I don't want her to leave my side, I want to keep her here with me in my arms for as long as I can. Sting did say to have as much time with Luce as possible, so why not sneak into her room and hug her at night, plus she felt really cold whenever she slept so I liked to be her personal heater it seemed to help calm her restlessness at night too.

I'm probably going to wake up in pain tomorrow for doing this again. But I missed this.
