"Have a great day! And please come again!" says Nurse Joy as both Naruto and Hinata leave he Pokemon Center.
Shortly after Shino lead them out of the Viridian Forest and to Pewter City. The Bug Trainer said his fell well and headed back into Viridian Forest. From there they went to the Pokemon Center to have Mikey healed.
"So what are we going to do now?" asked Hinata
"Well, the first thing that I want to do is challenge the Pewter City Gym and try to get my first badge!" Naruto explains, "By the way Hinata, when is your Pokemon Contest suppose to be?"
"The first Pokemon Contest is suppose to be in Cerulean City,"
"So after here not only do we have to head for Cerulean City for not just the next Gym Battle, but a Pokemon Contest!"
"Sounds like we'll be busy for sometime," Hinata stated.
They didn't waste much time when they arrived at the Pewter City Gym. The gym looks like it was made out of rocks. And the sign that says Pewter City Gym is even made out of rocks; showing that it is a Rock Type Gym.
Naruto not wasting time marches up to the doors, throws them open and yells out, "I challenge the Gym Leader to a Pokemon Battle!"
His voice echoes throughout the gym. The redhead waits for what seems like an eternity till he hears the sounds of footsteps. The light turn on showing the inside of the gym with a battle field that has many large boulders showing that the battle field was made for Rock Types and for taking cover.
"Hello there! My name is Flint and I'm the Pewter City Gym Leader," says Flint
"I've come to challenge you to a Gym Battle!" Naruto yells out in excitement
Chuckling at the young Trainer's excitement, "Very well, I accept you're challenge. Forrest! Come be the referee for this match!" called out Flint.
Naruto and Hinata sees nine children from different age ranges with the oldest coming out to the edge of the battle field.
"My name is Forrest and I'll be the referee during this match," says Forrest, "The match will be a three on three Pokemon Battle. The challenge will be the only one to change his Pokemon during the battle!"
Flint walks out to the nearby wall and place his hand on the wall. Part of the wall moves showing several different types of Pokeballs. Flint takes three Pokeballs and walks over to the battle field to take his place for the Pokemon Battle.
"Let's start this battle. Young challenge! Go Cubone!" Flint throws out a Pokeball with the white energy releasing a Cubone.
"Cubone!" cried the Pokemon
Naruto takes out his Pokedex, "Cubone; the Lonely Pokemon. It wears its mother's skull on its head, so no one knows what its bare face looks like. However, it's clear that it's always crying."
"That's so sad that Cubone wears its mother's skull," Hinata looks away from Cubone from the saddness that it might be going through
"Go Mikey!" Naruto throws out his Pokeball that releases white energy showing Mikey.
"Squritle! Squritle!" Mikey said
"A Water Type Pokemon. The perfect choice fot facing against this gym. I see that you've done your homework," Flint says to Naruto, "Now let's see if you can use that advantage to win this battle. Cubone use Bone Club!"
Cubone jumps towards Mikey and strikes him with its bone club on the head. Mikey slides back and rubs his head. The Turtle Pokemon glares at Cubone before using Water Gun on Cubone causing said Pokemon to fly back and crash into a boulder.
"Not again! I didn't say for Mikey to use Water Gun!" growled out Naruto
"Oh, no! Michelangelo isn't listening again," Hinata stated
"Hmm, it looks like his Squritle doesn't listen to him yet. I hope in time it'll listen to him. Cubone use Headbutt!" commands Flint.
Cubone who has gotten to its feet growls at Mikey before dashing towards said Pokemon. It lowers its head and bashes Mikey in the stomach area of his shell. Mikey flies back and lands on his back. He moves around trying to get on his hands and feet, but can't as his shell is preventing him from doing so.
"Cubone use Bone Club to finish Squritle!" Flint calls out waiting to end this battle since Squritle is the biggest threat to him right now
"Mikey use Water Gun to slide across the ground!" yelled out Naruto.
Mikey did just that, sliding across the ground hitting one of the boulders. The force from it cuased the Turtle Pokemon to fly up into the air. Mikey spins around and blows out bubbles at Cubone; which caused Cubone to stop using Bone Club and hits the ground.
"That was Bubble!" Hinata says in surprise
"So your Pokemon used a new move," the Gym Leader looks over to Cubone to see it not moving
"Cubone is unable to battle," Forrest says while waving his hand over to Naruto, "Squritle wins the first battle!"
Red Energy surrounds Cubone and it returns to the Pokeball. Flint takes out his second Pokeball and throws it, "Go Geodude!"
White energy is released from the Pokeball to show Geodude bouncing up and down.
"Geo! Geodude!"
"Geodude; the Rock Pokemon. Geodude that have lived a long life have had all their edges smoothed out unitl they're totally round. They also have a calm, quiet disposition."
"So what are you going to do now?" asked Flint, "Are you going to continue with that Squritle? Or changed to a different Pokemon?"
Naruto looks at Mikey. Naruto has notice that since he's gotten Mikey he's been doing whatever he wanted; not listening to him and doing what he wants to do. The only reason Mikey won the first battle was because Mikey learned and used a new move; Bubble. On one hand Mikey has a huge advantage against the Pokemon that Flint is using; on the other he isn't listening to him.
'I want to change out Mikey, but I don't have any other Pokemon that can easily beat Rock Type Pokemon. As much as I don't want to; I'll just have to continue using Mikey before he faints in battle.' Naruto does a run down in his mind about using Mikey for the rest of the battle
"I'll continue to use Mikey for the rest of the battle,"
"Very well,"
"The second battle will begin with Geodude and Squritle! Begin!" calls out Forrest for the second battle to start
"Geodude use Rollout!" Flint orders his Geodude
"Geodude!" cried out the Rock Pokemon before curling up into a ball and bursts into a spinning ball of death that bases into Mikey
"Mikey use Water Gun!" Mikey spits out a stream of water towards Geodude as it makes a second round with Rollout.
Mikey continues to use Water Gun on Geodude as it keeps using Rollout dodging the Water Type move. Mikey stopped using Water Gun and used Bubble. Naruto growled as Mikey once again disobeyed him once again.
"Geodude use Magnitude!" Geodude hits the ground with its body causing a small quake which in turn forced Mikey to the ground, "Now grab Squritle and use Self-Destruct!"
Naruto can only watch as Geodude bear hugs Mikey before glowing white and then explodes. The smoke clears with both Geodude and Mikey out cold.
"Geodude and Squritle are unable to battle!" Forrest called out with both hands to his father and to Naruto, "The second battle is a draw!"
Red energy surrounds Geodude and returns it to its Pokeball, "You did well Geodude,"
"Naruto stares as the red energy surrounds Mikey and returns him to his Pokeball, "Why aren't you listening to me?"
"Besides having that Squritle not listening to you; you are doing surprising well with a Pokemon that doesn't listen to you. I'm down to my last Pokemon while you still have two more. Go Onix!"
"Onix; the Rock Snake Pokemon. Onix has a magnet in its brain. It acts as a compass so that this Pokemon does not lose direction while it is tunneling. As it grows older, its body becomes increasingly rounder and smoother."
"I only have Kurama and Windster. Both are weak against Rock Types! Go Windster!"
Windster is released with white energy and looks at Onix before turning back to Naruto. With a gleam in his eye takes off and pecks Naruto.
"Stop that!"
Hinata sweatdrops, "With Mikey not listening to him, and with Windster pecking him on sight; I guess Naruto-kun isn't lucky,"
"Stop that Windster!" Windster stops pecking Naruto and sits on the ground staring up at him, "I don't know why you like to peck me, but you have to stop for now. We have a battle to fight and I need you for it."
"Pidgey! Pidg! Pidg!" Windster spreads his wings out before taking to the air
"The third battle will begin!" Forrest called out
"Onix use Rock Throw on Pidgey to end this battle!"
Onix's tail wraps around one of the boulders and throws it at Windster, but Windster quickly dodges Rock Throw while using Quick Attack. Flint watches as Windster uses his speed to dodge all of Onix's Rock Throw. Using his speed Windster bashes into Oni. Onix cries out as it hits the ground.
"Onix!"
"Use Gust!"
Windster flaps his wing quicker and quicker causes winds to pick up and create a small tornado that hits Onix.
Taking out his Pokeball, "Return Windster!" Naruto quickly throws out another Pokeball, "Kurama use Fire Spin!"
Kurama lands in front of Naruto and quickly spit out a wave of flames that circle Onix causing damage to it. Naruto calls out to use Confuse Ray which he did with glowing blue eyes.
"He had Pidgey continue to use Quick Attack over and over again to pick up speed, then used Gust to force Onix down to be switched out to that Vulpix to use Fire Spin to cause damage over time, and finally Confuse Ray to make sure that Onix couldn't properly attack without hurting himself," smirking at that brilliant plan that Naruto did on the fly, "That was brilliant! Let's see if you can win this battle from there!"
"Kurama finish Onix with Ember!"
Kurama spits out a small flame that hits Onix. Onix moves around and hits itself against the boulders.
"Use Rock Tomb Onix!" Onix somehow hits the ground with its tail causing four rock spikes to come up out of the ground and encase Kurama; flames burst out of the ground that was caused by Fire Spin.
Naruto takes out Kurama's Pokeball, "Return Kurama!" the red energy causes Kurama to return to his Pokeball, "Windster!"
Windster appears in a burst of white energy calling out his Pokemon name. Acting quickly Windster uses Quick Attack to speed around the room. But unlike last time when Flint called out for Onix to use Rock Throw Windster wasn't so lucky this time around and was brought down to the ground. Onix snapped out of confusion and used Rock Tomb that encase the Tiny Bird Pokemon. The smoke clears with Windster eyes spinning around.
"Pidgey is unable to battle," Forrest waves his hand over to his father, "Onix wins!"
Naruto returns Windster to his Pokeball and throws out Kurama, "This is it! The final battle!"
"The fourth battle win now begin!" says Forrest for the final showdown between Flint and Naruto.
"Onix use Rock Tomb and finish this battle for good!"
Onix slams its tail against the ground causing four rock spikes to come out of the ground. Kurama quickly dodges Rock Tomb right before he was encased. Naruto orders Kurama to use Ember and then to use Quick Attack to dodge Rock Throw from the Rock Snake Pokemon.
"C'mon, Kurama!" the redhead throws out his fist, "Let's win our first battle and show them what we can do!"
A purple aura surrounds Kurama before hitting Onix into the ground kicking up dust. Everyone waited for the dust to clear, till it does with Onix's eyes spinning around.
"Onix is unable to battle!" Forrest waved his hand over to Naruto, "The challenge wins!"
"Alright!" Naruto leaps up into the air with Kurama running over to him and jumps into his arms, "We did it Kurama!"
Flint walks over to Naruto, "That was some battle there, young Trainer. You have much to learn and you'll get there someday, and I look to see when that day comes. Till then; learn all that you can and become something great!"
Flint hands Naruto his badge; the Boulder Badge.

Yeah, moving sucks! Anyway! Here is how Pokemon Battles will be with Gym Leaders. Like in Generations showed that Gym Leaders used Pokemon depending on the Trainer's level. They will also being using Pokemon that they used in the different games instead of the TV show. And before anyone said that Geodude learns Self-Destruct after evolving, but you have to remember these are Gym Leaders and they have Pokemon that are stronger then normal; so it's only natural that they know moves before the proper level. And finally; they'll be using moves close to their leaves to make things interesting.
