Chapter 26

I am back with the next chapter of this story, I wanted to have this out earlier but I'm still juggling multiple things at once. There really isn't anything to say except I hope you enjoy the next chapter of this story

(Matthew POV)

When we got home, Nicholas went upstairs and didn't come back down. I could tell today had gotten to him, but It had gotten to me to. I sat down on the couch and sighed, I couldn't help but wonder how things were going for William.

(William POV)

Everything was going fine today until Matthew and Nicholas came in. It wasn't their fault, but I really wish they had of stayed home. Now Magnezone wanted to talk to me. I walked back towards the entrance of town and saw him waiting for me.

"Hello William, I'm glad you didn't keep me waiting. Let's get right down to business shall we?" He began, "The reason why I called you to come see me is, well, it's about Matthew and Nicholas." He said.

"Yeah I know; I don't understand why that brute maid such an episode about it. I'm just glad one of your own was there to stop it." I responded.

"No, I want to talk about them, William, I have to order you to keep those two out of town for a while." He instructed me.

"What!" I shouted, I couldn't believe it.

"You heard what I said, I want you to keep those two out of town unless I say otherwise, do you understand me!" He shouted.

"You can't do this, what am I supposed to say to them?" I continued to beg and plead.

He only ignored me as I watched him float away, I screamed in frustration and kicked up dirt. This wasn't fair, they didn't even do anything wrong.

"Oh well" I sighed, there wasn't anything I could do about it, I had far too much to do today before heading home.

I returned back to shopping shortly after. Tonight was going to be very interesting.

(Matthew POV)

I must have been fooling around for hours because it was getting darker when William walked in the door. He walked straight over to me and pulled me down on the couch, before running over to the steps and shouting for Nicholas, who came running down shortly after.

"I talked to Magnezone today and he wanted me to tell you that you can't go into town for a while." He told us.

"What!" Nicholas shouted, "but why, we didn't do anything wrong"

"I know, but what do you want me to do, He gave me an order and I have to follow it. I'm sorry." He said before heading upstairs.

Nicholas yelled and kicked the sofa. I knew he was frustrated, but what cold we do.

"This isn't fair, why are they punishing us, they should be going after that brute who tried to kill us." He continued to shout.

"I know, but there isn't anything we can do." I responded, trying to calm him down.

"I have an idea, let's go see Magnezone, maybe we can get them to be reasonable and let it go." He suggested.

"Nicholas, that is a terrible idea, William will kill us if we get in trouble again." I scolded him.

"We are not going to get in trouble, there's still plenty of daylight, we'll go right now." He said before walking out the door.

I swear Nicholas is driving me crazy, he doesn't listen at all.

"That Dewott is going to get me killed one day." I mumbled, before heading out the door after him.

Short filler chapter while I'm working on the finale of Tool. I'm starting to lose interest in this story so I can't say it will continue for much longer. I may try to rap this up and get the sequel as soon as possible.
