"Reimu? I'm sorry, I'm really, really sorry" Alex said, his expression sad and forlorn which surprises the others. Reimu didn't reply, opting to stare at the explorer for a while. The explorer shut his mouth to respect the silence she needs. Her friend's also opted to be quite as well.
The silence lasted for a minute. Then, the shrine maiden opened her mouth to ask a single question. "Alex was it?" the explorer nodded at the question. Satisfied by the answer, she continued her original question. "what…happened after that?"
Alex grimaced at the question. "figure you'll ask that. I come back to you and apologized like sinners at the gates of hell. You decided that keeping grudges and keeping this stall open was a mistake so you dealt both problems by tearing it down physically and metaphorically. We still friends, but it took us a few months for the wound to heal." He looked down onto his boots, ashamed of himself. "This is why I hate being around with beautiful ladies; I'm not sexist, I'm afraid that I cannot control myself. I'm afraid that any day, any hour I might do something I'll regret. Everybody turned around to see a blonde woman peering through a gap in the air. The portal was a crescent shaped hole with the edges tied with ribbons. "What are you standing for? Get in Alex! SDM need you!"
"See y'all bitch in the next 20 years!" Alex yelled before running straight toward the blonde woman. The woman conjured another portal which the explorer jumped into without abandon. The woman closed the portal and winked at Reimu. "I got you covered fam" With that said she disappeared without a trace.
"…Yukari?" Reimu said, unable to compute the absurdity that she just witnessed She slumped onto the ground clutching her head, trying to get a grip on reality. Marisa was at her side, petting her best friend at her back to calm her down while Meiling just sighed deeply.
