The Salvation Of The Chosen One

Time-line: After returning to the capitol and Anakin's dream of Padme's dying in childbirth and his appointment to the council.
Synopsis: Directly after his appointment to the council, Anakin Skywalker comes clean, surprised by the news, but deciding to help. Obi-wan and the council offers him what he needs to save Padme, which prevents their own biggest fear. Now, from coming to pass, before the arrival of his unborn family as he realizes he can show the truth. And to who he really is to his children, paving a new future for his family and the galaxy.
But first must overcome the piece that lead to his downfall, by confronting the evil in his own soul and the supreme lord of the Sith, Darth Sidious.
Warnings: This story is going several weeks back to my previous Revenge of the Sith story, taking place directly after he and Obi-wan get back. It's also going to involve having his adult memories, Obi-wan and Yoda's souls shooting back to that day. So this will be insuring Palpatine is never going to win this, as the twins arrive. And they see their parents for real as young adults, insuring their adult memories are strong.
Also with this chapter is Anakin makes a fast decision to give his current lightsaber to Obi-wan, for him to give to Luke and with it a gift to Leia. As he, before his alter ego betrays him, is deciding he'd rather die by his best friend's hands. As himself then live as Darth Vader, as he tells them the truth, and Padme's opinion to this….

Chapter 1: Truths Of The Chosen One
"Allow this appointment lightly the council does not, disturbing is this move by Chancellor Palpatine." he said and he said it gently. "I understand." he said and his counterpart said it to him. "You are on this council, but we do not grant you the rank of master." he said and the young knight, looked at him shocked as he answered him. "What?" he asked and they looked at him. "How can you do this? This is outrageous, it's unfair, how can you be on the council."
"And not be a master?" he asked and the master it said as his mentor shook his head sternly. "Take a seat, young Skywalker." he said and the young Knight froze and relaxed and calmed down. "Forgive me, Master." he said and he took the seat next to his mentor as he looked at him with a sigh, as he zoned out as he thought over what this was. "Anakin, Anakin." he heard and refocused at that. "Forgive me, I was thinking over your concerns." he said and they nodded.
"What's on your mind, because we normally never hear you like that?" A Nautolan Jedi master asked him and he explained that. "Something Padme and I were discussing the last time I was planetside, and frankly, now that it's been 8 months since then. I think she has the right idea, what kind of galaxy is this we're raising our children in, in the NFS. Is this really a war, or just a smoke screen for something else, like you said Master, the shroud of the darkside has fallen."
"I'm starting to think Padme's right, that what if we been serving a lie here, the democracy we been serving no longer exists. And what if the peace we once fought for no longer exists and the government is now the very evil we swore to destroy. And the separatists never really left, but are conspiring against the Republic to destroy us, us: the Jedi Order. He's preparing to make his move and I could be the target for his planning." he said and the council nodded to him then.
"This war, like she said now, represents a failure to listen, but what if there was something far more dark, and just fighting this war, us Jedi are being wiped out. Compared to my alter ego, he doesn't see this, because he's blinded by things, to him this war. Now is destroying the principals of the Republic, while for Padme and me, we think that we could be. Now, on the wrong side of things and this war is turning the Republic into a dictatorship." he said and they nodded gently.
"Just saying his thoughts, but I think this war is undermining the principals of the Republic, but did he ever consider we're on the wrong side. What if the peace we fought for, the diplomacy, democracy, we fought for and sought no longer exists. That the Republic is the very evil we sought to destroy, she could be right and if she is, our Sithmaster. He is hiding in plain sight, he could be someone we know, all of us know." he said and the grandmaster nodded carefully then.
"You think that this was Sidious's master plan right now, everything from our father being murdered, to Sifo Dyas, to the attacks on Padme. All of this was a smoke screen, so that by the time we reach his hostile takeover, we never see it coming." his mentor asked and he nodded to him. "I do, in the last 48 hours since we got returned from the Outer Rim sieges, I come to see you are, Master, Master Yoda, something about him is very dangerous right now, though what."
"I haven't a clue right now, but I think behind that grandfatherly look, is a monster, our phantom menace. Remember what you said to father, something else where, something elusive, he's that feeling, the Sith have returned, he could be our Sithmaster." he said and the trio nodded. "I didn't think I'd ever hear that from you, but if you're right, he's been standing in front of us all this time, and cloaked his signature." the second in command said to him gently.
"Something was always out of place, me added in, things were fine, everything was fine till we were 17, then picked back up after Padme came back into the picture, so what does this say." he said and they nodded. "What says it does is you resisted for 13 years, and suddenly change over night, into a true Jedi knight and ready for council you are. To see what even Mace and I could not, that he's been standing in front of us ever since." the grandmaster said to him gently.
"I changed over night, because I got hit with a bombshell you deserved to know, one that means your newest students are the next incoming baby younglings. My…, my children are your strongest students master, like I am, but in truth, you get with the baby. What you never had the chance to teach me, with me coming in late now, born and raised a Jedi. My baby is your most powerful student next to me now, my Master." he said gently and he nodded in shock then.
"An expecting father you are, my strongest pupils, your children are now, if not one, but two now." he said gently and he nodded. "Yes Master that's it exactly, I was preparing to tell you this, in our own discussion earlier. But that's what brought this consideration on, only my family can stop him, if I'm right, if I am now, something's very wrong. Like Sidious already knows she's pregnant right now, if he does, we have to protect them." he said and the grandmaster nodded.
"Indeed, protect your family we must till ready to defend themselves, they are now, but coming to me and your brother, fast thinking to protect them and their mother, that was. What is your consideration here if he's standing in plain sight, hiding in plain sight?" he asked and he crossed his arms. "I'm thinking of going into hiding on a planet out of reach of the republic, train the baby in secret, but that's if the target is not just us, the Jedi, but if not, and that's where it hits."
"But Master, you have to hide them and protect them, if something happens to their mother and me." he said and his mentor and the grandmaster nodded. "For my daughter, if I have one, she's hiding in plain sight, but my son, take him to my planet, either my friends. Or leave him with my family, my stepfamily, and he grows up the way I did, just stay close brother. Teach him everything you taught me, because my son is your next star pupil in later years here now."
"If something happens to me, my son takes my position to stop him, but when fully human I have a power advantage on him, if said theory the Kegans gave us is true. He has one on me, but my children added to my powers, he's never going to survive this." he said and they nodded in shock. "So that's what the prophecy meant, only the chosen one and his family can restore balance back to the force and destroy the Sith." the second in command said to that news then.
"Yes, but you knew this, though allowing the red to at times take hold, I stayed blue, but now the blue is turning purple now, I reached the level necessary now. Just to see, but the red is getting stronger everyday out there, we're running out of time, I think this is the last stages or his planning and for the first time ever, I'm starting to see it. You're right about the Chancellor, he ordered his death, though I took his wrists off, a helpless prisoner, but you're right, brother."
"But to do that conversation again, between us now, between you and my alter ego, as you were trying to dissuade my alter ego with Padme, if given the chance. We'd be exchanging a fast hug after she saw me, at this age, but her wariness of my alter ego was plain to you." he said and he nodded gently. "Indeed, I knew you loved her and she loved you, but leaving him alone with her, I was not allowing it and both of you went." he said and the duo nodded in agreement.
"If this was my twin brother as my alter ego, so Andy, short for Andrus, you called him, when he was in trouble Andrus, so go on that." he said and his mentor nodded " I'd rather dream of Padme, just being around her again is..., is intoxicating." he said and he said it sternly to him. "Mind your thoughts, Andrus, they betray you, you made a commitment to the Jedi order..., a commitment not easily broken..., and don't forget she's a politician, they're not to be trusted."
"Aside from that, allow your emotions to get in the way, you lose your concentration." he said and Anakin, pretending to be his alter ego, said it. "She's not like the others in the Senate, Master." he said and changed voices. "Andy after S'orn, we're not taking chances, but S'orn was an accomplice in nearly killing both Didi and Father. Andy remember, after we walked into Zan Arbor, these people, aside from a few good ones, are corrupt." he said and his mentor nodded.
"It's been my experience that Senators are only focused on pleasing those who fund their campaigns... and they are more than willing. Now, to forget the niceties of democracy to get those funds." he said sternly and he sighed at that. "Not another lecture, Master, not on the economics of politics, it's too early in the morning.., and besides, you're generalising. The Chancellor doesn't appear to be corrupt." he said and the second in command sighed at that.
"Palpatine's a politician, I've observed that he is very clever at following the passions and prejudices of the Senators." he said to him and he sighed. "I think he is a good man, my instincts are very positive about that." he said and they ended it at that. "But after last night, I lost my faith in him, after he gave me an execution order." he said and they nodded. "Well that explains why he never came back alive, you see it immediately." the second said to him then.
"Chancellor Palpatine is beyond corrupt, but the way this is going here, is you and I, we, see he's evil, but if my alter ego falls, he's going to see 'we' are evil now. To us Chancellor Palpatine is evil, to him, his point of view, if he falls to the darkside now. The we're evil, but to us, we see this as he lost his mind finally, as the darkside is a drug, he's addicted here. To using the darkside and everyone, but him, can see this, taking him alive, means he's going cold turkey."
"Now, from it." he said and he nodded. "Issues with your studies of the Sith, this is more then power, it's an addiction, if fallen, you become a demon." his mentor said and he nodded. "Yes exactly, so just say it was me rather then my alter ego, that power now…" he started to say and a manual on a device appeared on the floor and he opened it. "Yeah okay, the effects of the darkside enhance your physical well-being, strength, speed, someone of health now here."
"But the downside is it starts eating away at the good in you, over exposure if passed a certain limit, there's no changing back, if you were injured and overly exposed." he said and the grandmaster nodded. "So to take you alive, have to cripple you we do, and drain effects of what done it has to your body, as return to us you do. Before lock the door, on your alter ego, and so where the effects of said addiction never affect you, we do." he said and the young man nodded.
"Exactly, but that addiction to it, is like a spice addiction, your bodily hormones are so out of whack, that once free from the exposure, you could sleep for 6 months. Looks like cub suffered this and explained it to my son-in-law's rival's daughter, she was addicted to Andris. That's addiction in the purest sense of the word here, it would take a massive amount of will power. To break free and the strain alone could kill you." he said and they all nodded to reveal then gently.
"And he's addicted to the power lust as Padme finally sees this and I'm ready to protect her, if he raises a hand to her, before our exchange." his mentor said to that. "And the 'we' being the Jedi, but you're so fused into the light there is no changing your thought patterns. To realize this with you just saying your opinion directly, that your twin in truth, your inner self. He has allowed him to twist his thinking till he destroys him." the Togruta Jedi Master said gently to him then.
"Well he's starting to wonder what's happening to us, because you're beyond wary of the Chancellor, Master Tii." he said and she and the council nodded. "With what you're asking him to do next, he's wondering in what's happening to the Jedi Order here. And is thinking this war is destroying the principals of the Republic in all truth here, me, Padme has the right idea. As do you, something is wrong, something is out of place here." he said and the council nodded gently.
"And that says all that needs to be said, you're a Jedi knight true, but you been fighting the darkside for 14 years and just made it finally, before it tries in corrupting you." the Irodian Jedi Master said gently and he nodded. "Well I think this was all part of his plan, our Sithmaster created the order of the clones, assigning us to Padme. That keeps me away from Tatooine long enough that by the time I do decide to go back, she's close to death, followed by this now."
"Said mission, he's trying to poison my mind against your teachings till the power lust from a real one now has him so addicted to the darkside you have no choice." he said and she crossed her arms then. "Just trying to get him to see reason is not going to be easy, but he sees me on Padme's ship now, he's going to realize I know how far he fell. And he's become a threat, to us, himself and everyone around him now." his mentor said sternly and she and the council nodded.
"I realize that, but to us, once we learn said Sithmaster's NFS identity, he's refusing to back down and then say it, you know me." he said and the council nodded. "Indeed, know you we do, know you would never turn if had no other choice you would, so your alter ego. Decided, after our talk this morning, but between that, possibly our talk, think I do now here. That beyond corrupt thinks we are, he does right now." he said and the young knight nodded in agreement.
"Yes, but I've been in the light for 17 years and those 17 years, including with you, has resulted in his not seeing what we can, he's lost." he said and they nodded. "If inner you sees things in reverse, then lost he is and must be put down, as a danger he is." the grandmaster said to that. "Interesting concept and you could be right thought, Anakin, though you are and we have to work to protect ourselves." the second in command said and he nodded as he admitted it.
"And her thoughts in your voice they are, like once said we did, mind your feelings you should, worried about her you are and understand that we do." The grandmaster said and he looked down and said it. "Got a reason to be actually master, she's in her third trimester." he said and they nodded in shock. "She's pregnant?!" the second in command said and he nodded. "She is, but seems my alter ego was trying to keep this a secret, but I'm sick of sneaking around now."
"That you know in advance, and I'm telling you now in this meeting, but my alter ego now, he tried to seduce her during my sabbatical." he said and he nodded. "Think over what I just told you now, you know I'm an expecting father and now I just told you that…, so.." he said and they nodded. "She's the mother, you and the senator…." the Togruta said to him and he nodded. "Yes, long story we can discuss in a minute now, but Obi-wan…" he said and his mentor nodded.
"When we got assigned to protecting her, that wasn't you doing the talking, it was him?" his mentor said carefully and he nodded. "Yeah she chose me, after I told her the truth, but two sides of a person, his lust, for both power and her love. And when she belongs to me, you knew we're married, and you never mind, we just never made it public here. To protect her, but Andy is sneaking around behind my back to see her has resulted in total self destruction finally."
"It's finally resulted in this, what's coming in the next 9 weeks, me, I'm being what baby, now sees me as, their father and mentor." he said and they nodded gently. "And you keep saying, as human Jedi, the sins are a one way ticket to an early grave, so lust and anger. His anger and lust for power have already taken her away from him, she turned on him because of this. He has done that himself, his anger and lust for power have already taken everything he holds dear."
"He has allowed this Sithmaster to twist his mind, till now, now he becomes the very thing he swore to destroy, it's up to you now." his mentor said sternly to that. "Better voice that the way you just said it brother, because a Sith my age and one a full human is a wild animal. They build up this delusion everything they did was because whoever, they're the victim." he said and he nodded. "Then he's gone totally mad now and we have to put him down." he said sternly to that.
"Background studies on Sith, baby?" a human Jedi on the radio said and he nodded. "Yes Master, in truth after Obi-wan told us we had a real Sith on the loose I started running it. Said is said studies for you, and it revealed enough that Sidious's successors though very good. When in training his army are just not good enough when we been patient with dealing with this. That his next in command, his own alter ego is going to wonder in what went wrong in the attack."
"On our advanced training temple wherever my son placed the advanced training padawans now, in sum years, Padme now though in truth here. She chose me, over my alter ego, that's why we eloped at the time, when I brought her home. But the reason we never made this public was because of Dooku and Gunray, they find out, gets worse." he said and they both nodded. "As everyone knows this, with 5 Jedi married with families of their own here, so question now."
"What's the difference between me and you?" he asked and the Cerean Master nodded. "The difference is she is the most famous Senator in the Senate right now, you now. The most powerful Jedi in history, your children, once made public, or your marriage. That puts the target on your backs, and baby as sitting duck birds." he said and the grandmaster nodded sternly. "Protect her by hiding it even from us and her committee, you have, understand we do now."
"Not faulting your ideas of protecting her now in keeping this quiet now, you have, let that go I can, so why this meeting between us?" the grandmaster asked him gently. "Since I got back, I got thrown a bombshell master, but you know what she and I mean to each other. And after 4 years and I was just getting over Darra's murder, when we got back now. But that's the reason I came to you this morning, before the Chancellor sent for me." he said and they nodded gently.
"And it gets better right now, but what's your opinion to your new hope being the child, or children, to me now, and the mother. She just happens to be the woman that you told you this, through me." he said and they nodded slowly. "Just one possible evil Skywalker is bad enough already, the galaxy would never stand a chance if your entire family turns." the second said and the grandmaster realized that was the reason for his meeting with him that morning then.
And he looked down. "Anakin." his mentor said gently and he swallowed and told him the truth. "Something else is wrong, aside from the pregnancy, Anakin talk to me, what's wrong." he asked and he sighed. "I was trying to understand why he demanded me to kill Dooku last night, before my premonition Brother, I think this is all part of the sequence. But Army in white, the clones, a single man in black, carrying a red lightsaber, that could be me, if he gets it now."
"Gets what he wants and what if our Sithlord is the withered old man with a disfigured face, they're fighting against. Now, a brother/sister duo and a group of freedom fighters, that could be my kids and Padme's committee. I'm saying the prophecy stated a period of darkness, of strife, we outnumber them, it's their turn, he wants the Sith way to that prophecy. He wants me, for my powers, so he can plunge the galaxy into a darkness." he said and they nodded in shock.
"You just now figured this out, you were slightly quiet yesterday, before you got us back down here, this is what you been considering all night. Since she told you she was she pregnant, the baby.." he asked and he nodded. "There's way more to this then just destroying the Jedi through the war, remember what was your biggest fear of leaving me alone with him. You said it yourself you trusted me with your lives here, but you can trust me, you just can't trust my alter ego."
"So why is that exactly " he asked and they nodded. "That he could twist your thoughts, till you cave." the second said sternly and he nodded then. "My own biggest fear here was during my lightsaber quest, red was evil, blue was good. To base that another way, with the alliance choosing planets that mean safety, out of area planets to protect baby. But to a non force sensitive, red means hell, blue means heaven, the darkside means your alter ego is a demon."
"There is no reason to turn to the darkside to save someone, problem is my alter ego would do anything, and I mean anything to save her." he said and they nodded. "Even doing a deal with the devil to save her, is that what you're trying to say, Sidious is the devil. Your alter ego gives in, and he just sold your soul right to the devil himself?" he asked and the young knight nodded then. "Yes, my premonitions are spelling out my murder." he said and they nodded sternly.
"That's what shot through me just now, I think we reached the end here of what Sidious has in mind, but my alter ego wants more. Much more, in truth he wants the ultimate power, to get it, he's going to betray me, betray you. To save her right now, Master, I'm out of time here, Sidious desires a new apprentice, but if I don't turn. And my alter ego will and to get the power to save her, that could kill me now, by the darkside now." he told him and they all straightened then.
"You think you're real the target and she was just a means to an end to destroy us, he kills you by seducing your alter ego, son?" the second in command said gently and he nodded. "I lasted this long without giving in, but now my timer is over, I'm not sure how much longer I can fight. Whatever he's trying to use to entice him, could be he weighs it, us and the order, on one side of the scale, her and this power on the other, to him no contest." he said and he nodded sternly.
"But to him, if I don't turn, then he targets my family, a Skywalker in his control is the biggest weapon he has now, against you Master, but when you found me. I chose Jedi, fighting on the side of good, I would never turn if I had a choice, Krayne and Dooku. That was self defense, as was the Carver, but I brushed it twice and barely a third time, it's tempting. But that's what's scaring me now, what if, to get the power, he decides to fully convert." he said and he nodded.
'Oh baby, it's okay, it's okay, don't give in, keep fighting.' a female human Jedi on the radio thought quickly realizing he was telling them everything, and scared out of his mind. As he wiped the tears off his face. "I resisted for 13 years, this could be it now, and if it is, I'd rather die then turn to the darkside, die in battle as me then, live as a demon. I'm saying I want you to remember me as me, not as my alter ego as his Sith alias, to stop me, there is no alternative."
"In all honesty, and seriousness, if I'm the target and my inner self ate the fish hook and turned on you right now, Master. Then I'd rather you kill me, I'm releasing you from any sin by doing this, as I told you to kill me. But I'd rather die, Obi-wan, then my having to live like that, I want to die as Anakin Skywalker, your best friend. And your padawan, Master, their father and husband, then live as Darth whatever." he said and the grandmaster put his hand over his heart.
"I'm saying if this means my remission is over, I want you to promise you'll take care of them." he said and they both nodded. "My twin killed me and to you this means war now, but Sidious is Father, and my alter ego is me, so either Omega's father or the Zabrak is you. But betrayal is part of the Sith, he runs through apprentices, to get a newer, better model. Which explains last night, he decided to have Dooku killed off, before choosing me." he said and they nodded then.
"Giving us and baby a bigger reason to want him dead, we lost you to him." his mentor said and he nodded. "Understand we do Anakin, to save you, let you go." Their mentor said gently and he nodded gently. "Being a Sith is worse then death, I'd rather die, then live as Darth whatever, I am a Jedi to the end now, and I'd rather you remember me like this. Your star fighter pilot, your star pupil in the current class of Jedi knights, and your friend and son, your padawan, Master."
"Master Yoda, but you know this, I'd never turn on you, I won't, but my alter ego, he'd turn on you to save her life, me I chose you from the very beginning, he betrayed me." he said and they both nodded sternly, realizing he made his oath to them. "Understand we do, that explaining this to the baby, telling them what told us, you did and your alter ego murdered you, he did. And to us, avenging you we are, by training baby, to finish the job now, we are now in truth."
"But believe me, you should that Sidious pay for this, he shall, in my eyes, protect your baby we will, promise you that, but there's the story now, when left you did. But knew she was pregnant you did, not know had twins she did, if carrying twins, she is. But knew we both did, that find out eventually you would, but until then protecting them from birth, we are. That baby number two remains safely anonymous, they will." he said and his mentor nodded in agreement then.
"My lightsaber goes to my son, I wanted him to have it when he's ready now for the fight, but knowing Bail, he's sending my daughter to get you. And using the droids as a means to do so, so my lightsaber goes to my son, my daughter, if I have twins, I want her to have this." he said, giving him a pendant and his mentor nodded as he looked at it, and saw it matched the Senator's exactly then. "That looks like the one Padme wears." he said and he nodded, smiling.
"That was 13 years old, this was newly created, it's the baby version to it, she knows now, daddy, though gone, loves her, always there to protect her." he said and they nodded. "Your words in my voice, you wanted him to have that when he's old enough now. But everything said here, is your words in my voice, my being your best friend." he said and the knight nodded. "But you know where it came from now, I gave her that pendant, before she left, not realizing it."
"Now that Father freed me too, so I could finish out the mission with you." he said and his mentor nodded gently to him. "Going away present her necklace was, Anakin?" their mentor asked and he nodded. "She started wearing it on a necklace of pearls ever since, since we got back together, but you know where it came from now." he said and they both nodded. "I'd consider that as the Jedi version to creating said final will and testament in this decision now."
"If anything happens to you, and we will, we will protect your family, Anakin." his counterpart said to that and he nodded. "I know, but that's the reason for this, said premonitions, I think they mean my remission just ended, my arm. When I lost the first piece of me, the cancer started and I been doing repeated efforts to prevent further damage. But this scenario means that they're trying to weaken me enough to kill me." he said and their eyes gentled at that.
"We get it and we're not losing you without a fight right now, whoever Sidious is, he's not getting his hands on you." his counterpart master said and his mentor nodded sternly in agreement then. "I ever had to explain this to baby, it's telling him the truth, that Darth killed you, through me, in a fight to the death, but you told me to do it. You want to die as yourself, then live as your Sith alias, remembering you like this now, the you we know and raised."
"But losing you to him, we're not letting him get away with it." his mentor said and he nodded. "Well that's what this morning's meeting was about actually, before the Chancellor sent for me, she's pregnant." he said and they nodded in shock to the news. "Master Yoda, I'm saying we're in the end of the Republic, we can save the Order in truth here. If we consider the Loyalist committee's opinion, we can save ourselves by combining with them." he said and he nodded.
"I can feel your inner self's thinking, he's in shock you're considering what she said right now, as he doesn't believe that, and you're sounding like a separatist." the second in command said and he swung his hand up in exasperation. "Anyone else see this as familiar right now, after the last time we had that exchange?" he asked and his mentor chuckled and nodded. "Yes, and said is after he was debating an investigation on our mandate to protect her, but this is ridiculous."
"But Padme and you have a good point here, as for her being pregnant, I'm glad you're telling us this now, then my, Master Yoda and Bail finding this out by accident." his mentor said gently and he nodded. "The baby's mine, Obi-wan, she and me, we eloped." he said and they nodded then. "You're the father, so said theoretical, if that scum gets his hands on baby, we would never stand a chance against two of you, if you fell yourself!" the second said quickly at that remark.
"Great he did that on purpose, Master, he wants me to turn on you, by you refusing my appointment to promotion." he said and they nodded. "But I decline that offer to promotion right now, though I stay at your side brother, we're a male version of the girls, so on you Master." he said and his mentor and the Grandmaster nodded. "Anakin declines, and we refuse, not using my padawan for a stooge in this war, Chancellor, so no." he said sternly and he sighed in relief.
"Hold on a second, my inner self doesn't believe me or Padme in what we just said, and thinks we sound like a separatist, listen you laser brain. This war represents a failure to listen, you want the job of being his rep, you can have it. But clearly something is out of place, no it's out of place, the council has the right idea, so no I decline the promotion. I'm demoting myself back padawan, there's a downside to that promotion, but we're being wiped out one by one here."
"Look you want that promotion to council then you can have it, I resign being a knight, so back to padawan, so can it already, you laser brain. But you're closer to the chancellor then anyone, so please just end this fight and allow diplomacy to resume, would you please." he said and she hid a chuckle at that, realizing he was reprimanding his alter ego for that opinion. "He likes the action and doesn't want it to stop, not with her pregnant?" she said, guessing and he nodded.
"Exactly, she thinks that we should end the fighting and allow diplomacy to resume, but he just said it in annoyance, don't ask me to do that." he told her and she nodded sternly. "Too late we did already, but if he's not going to do anything to stop this and we will right now." the second said sternly and he nodded. "I know, but I'm leaving him alone with you for sum weeks, I get back, and the temple is a wreck, so now what?" he asked and they nodded in agreement then.
"Yep, and to you, this means trouble, he just betrayed us and Sidious murdered whoever tried to take him by force, so where the hell is he. Before you come back to the temple, kill the troopers and check the system to find out what happened up here. Check on the senator and go hunt him down, and before Obi-wan and Master get back after hitching a ride with Bail. And there's the story, Obi-wan checks the camera and sees what you did, and we have to find you and now."
"Before we lose you next, with your wife pregnant right now." the Nautelon Master said sternly and he nodded in agreement. "That's the truth here to what happened right now, me, I'm with Obi-wan all this time, before we kill Grievous, my alter ego. Now was told to report to the Chancellor and the bomb gets dropped, he turns this into you three and Master Saesee. A fight ensues and he makes his choice, before leading a raid on the temple, and I get back 5 hours."
"After he leaves for wherever Grievous sent them now, and cut my way through the clones, check the cameras, go to check on Padme, and you. Brother, Master after finding 70 to 100 dead clones all done by lightsaber, know this was me, you check the security footage. And see what I see, have to come after me, after telling Padme where I am and she tries to talk him down. Talk some sense into him, unknown to him, you hitched a ride." he said and they all nodded to him.
"If they thought you're bad as a normal guardian you're worse as a Master guardian, but all that power comes from the heart, the strength of your love for us. As we're your family and he betrayed you, by destroying your entire life, as like you said. Now you really are an only child, your mother is dead, so an orphan and only child now, he betrayed you. And Sidious is going to pay for this in your eyes now." she said gently to him and he nodded in stern agreement then.
"What was that about exactly, Anakin?" his mentor asked him and as the council exchanged bemused smiles at that mental exchange and he explained that. "He wants that promotion, so I just threw him that offer, but one very bad side effect, being his rep. It means he's grounded, I get to go with you, brother, sorry, I know you were listening to that. But me, Anakin, are you, he's Bruck here, brother." he said and the grandmaster shook his head as she answered that.
"So that's the downside in being his representative, it means you're stuck here on the capitol, while I leave for wherever Grievous is hiding right now. Nice try not falling for it here, you're coming with me Anakin, but your alter ego is stuck here." his mentor said and she nodded in agreement. "There's the opening of said story you give baby, I had a final mission to go on, but when I came back, after leaving their uncle alone with him, I find that he betrayed me now."
"Once Sidious revealed himself and Sidious supposedly killed the 5 of you and everyone here at the temple, I do the first messaging and tell you to come back, but heed caution. The troopers are guarding the temple and go hunt him down myself, before Master sends you in after me." he said and they both nodded. "That's the betray you, after 13 to 14 years now, he turned on us, and betrayed you, by killing us, as your friends and mentors." she said and he nodded to her.
"The murder me or tried to is said attempt in a fight to the death, but growing up you all know this, we're identical twins, the only way to tell us apart, or at least till I was 17. Was by lightsaber, my vision quest in building my lightsaber, I'm a master guardian. So my lightsaber was a purplish blue lightsaber, his was red, so one lightsaber if I don't make it. Gets thrown in said molten river, the other gets passed to baby." he said and his mentor nodded understanding.
"Point taken, use that we do to explain this, but explaining this to Cliegg and Owen, not easy it will be, because scared to let him leave, he will be." the grandmaster said and he nodded gently. "Indeed and you're right, the only way, for 8 years we could tell you apart was by lightsaber, as you got your's first, then he got his at 13, you were our star pupil. Our pride and joy, bonding tightly, in your eyes, your brother was like me and your father in strength as wise as Master."
"You idolize your brother, wanted to be like him." the second said and he nodded. "Well that's just the problem, though you were cautious with him, you considered him the chosen one. But trained me undercover, just in case you misread that prophecy, if the real chosen one crashed. You had me to take up the mantle." he said and he nodded. "Indeed, to us, always you this and you that, it was, your brother was jealous." the grandmaster said and his mentor nodded then.
"But there's another piece to this, but brother, you were training us both, my alter ego was the said other pupil, while I turned out the way all of you wanted, he crashed and burned." he said and they nodded. "Like I said to baby, he helped the chancellor hunt down and destroy the Jedi order, he betrayed and murdered you, you're my pride. And we're brothers, to me, my fear to lose baby, because of this was severe, he's all I have left of you." he said and he nodded then.
"All who is left of us, my children are all you have left of me, I died a war hero, and you were going to make Sidious pay for this." he said and they nodded in agreement. "Indeed died a war hero you did, a great man and powerful Jedi you are right now to us. That like Qui-Gon at 23 you are, that losing him hurt, losing you, is too much, for your brother and me. That we will not stop till Sidious is gone or your alter ego is, protect baby Anakin, Obi-wan and I will now."
"Promise you, we do." the grandmaster said gently to him then and his mentor nodded. "The prophecy stated a rule of two, so just say we were the only ones left of the council. That knowing my alter ego and I are evenly matched, we're both Djem So now, to you. This meant sending Obi-wan in after me, and Padme, she hears this, she's going to see how far gone he is. And you hitch a ride that way, Obi-wan." he said and they both nodded to him gently at that.
"No kidding, Ventress considered I was always chasing after you, but it's because I can't leave you alone for long, before the disaster leads me right to you." he said bemused and he nodded. "Baby brother, Obi-wan, what do you expect, with a 16 year age difference, remember the rock wall after you, the girls and Ry' got stuck in the gorge." he said and the grandmaster chuckled as he saw the look of brotherly love in his padawan's eyes to him as he nodded at the memory.
"And I thought you having these debates with Ferus was bad, but now you're sounding like me and fighting with your alter ego, possibly your twin brother, but that took it too far. But was that really necessary before we decide our next move?" he said and the grandmaster nodded with a bemused smile to his opinion and the debate. "Indeed, understand I do that annoyed at your inner self you are, but getting into a fight in front of us, you are, going too far, that is now."
"But relax you must, before stress levels get too high they do, Anakin." he said gently to that and he nodded as he settled gently as the rest of the council exchanged bemused smiles. "If that was your twin, instead of your inner self, I would consider he's too close to the Chancellor. Just to see what the rest of us do just to realize this at the current moment right now." she said with a slightly amused look on her face then and he nodded then as he answered her then.
"Who wouldn't right now, but you hear this from me and Ferus enough already that hearing it between me and my alter ego, before he turns on us…." he said and they nodded. "Alright boys, that's enough of that already, stop arguing, we're in a council meeting." his mentor said and he looked down and she started laughing at that. "Indeed, debate this you can later, but right now need to focus, now enough of that already, that is." the grandmaster said gently to him at that.
"Alright Annie, pull yourself together." the Cerean Master said gently over the radio at the look on his face. "And that's the other one, shift change in names." he said and they nodded smiling then. "Indeed, since you were 10 we started calling you that, but you just kept it up since you hit your lates teens to now." the Togruta said smiling gently at him. "In a way your star pupil, but I was your favorite, he was the one you don't trust." he said and the council nodded to that.
"Indeed, my pride you are Annie, as such we had to work this carefully, before gets what he wants Sidious does." the grandmaster said him and he nodded. "Well there are two ways this could go, but growing up together the kids become intimates now, as they grow up. The second, if you separated them, has baby wondering what would have been if he and his sister. Now were raised together, so we go with the first till they're 12." he said and the duo both nodded gently.
"And 7 years training till they're 19, but living to unifying, to living and back again, so father to me, me to you, and you to baby now, Ferus." he said and he nodded. "Bingo, I have my son, if I have twins, Ferus has my daughter right now, issues, but our team was all boys. But two girls and a boy in his team, before my daughter gets added to the team now and with it. And to quote father now, your focus determines your reality, Tiana and Damon did just fine here."
"Training the opposite gender till Tru and Ferus screwed that up." he said and the grandmaster nodded. "Agreed and make amends for wronging you he will, by training baby number 2, if twins you have." he said and his mentor nodded. "Well we got 7 to 8 weeks to work out a careful plan here, but if this scenario is mirroring anything, it's ending with what we revere can destroy us." he said as he focused on what his mentor told him about the man that sired Granta Omega.
"Hold on, I'm 23 and my inner self is acting like a 13 year old here." he said softly, closing down a second time as he heard his voice then in the exchange with the second in command of the council. 'You are on this council, but we do not grant you the rank of master.' 'What? How can you do this? This is outrageous, it's unfair, how can you be on the council, not be a master.' he heard and said it carefully, as he lifted his gaze up to his boss then.
"Master did you have that same exchange in another way, with anyone, not my generation but his?" he asked and he straightened. "After your brother left for Melida/Daan, he was on his first mission, and word came back in your father chose Obi-wan. But his rival was waiting for weeks after Bandomeer, and still nobody chose him, your brother now. He told me, he had that same exchange with him, emotionally, Bruck was not ready." he said and he covered his eyes then.
"Oh you got to be kidding, I never got insulted by them that much before and…., got'cha you old fool you just got caught, Master was there a key to this character, Chun's mentor. When you were 13, after you came home?" he asked and they straightened at the question. "But Obi-wan focus on your exchange to Chun himself, before he died." he said and he crossed his arms then. "That's what just happened, you, you're like me, the change in personality here is Bruck now."
"The Jedi'll regret ever holding me back' 'The Jedi never hold you back' 'Nobody chose you me as a padawan' 'Then you were not ready.'." his mentor said and the duo nodded. "Yeah rephrase my reaction, and turn it to him, when you got into a fight to the death with him." he said and the entire council nodded in shocked disbelief at that. "Oh gods, we never caught that before, your alter ego is Bruck as a preteen to teenager!" his counterpart color guardian said to that.
"And this is the me you know, but Bruck, if he laid eyes on Padme…." he said and they nodded then. "Point made, but we're too old for her." his mentor said and he nodded then. "I can focus, but if you knew she was close, well it's because she had to tell me something. Something that meant we had to tell both you and committee immediately." he said and he nodded. "Would this be connected to why I feel a signature matching your's, whenever I get near her right now."
"Anakin?" the second in command asked and he nodded. "She's pregnant, the baby is mine." he said and they nodded. "I just got the news last night, but this meant a change necessary to preserve us as the Jedi, but this is not about me, not anymore. These characters know a Jedi of my strength, powers, in their hands is a perfect weapon, but first me. And then my baby, we can't let them get their hands on my children or grandchildren." he said and they nodded gently.
"We get it, we get it, we understand, you're trying to protect your family." his mentor said and he nodded. "May explain your premonitions, they do." their mentor said and he nodded. "And now this is serious, we lose you to this Sith scum, we lose her and we lose baby. Not going to happen right now, but something doesn't sense right now, why choose now. Just to appoint you to the council, in our eyes, you're still a padawan?" A Togruta Jedi Master said to him gently.
"That's connected to Obi-wan's past, they're at it again, Obi-wan got picked when you sent him to Bandomeer. But Chun didn't and he's exacting revenge by joining Omega's father, we got him now, my alter ego is Bruck, this me is you, by denying him his position as a master. Sidious is playing Father's previous apprentice, my alter ego is Bruck, but denial of being made master. Is like no member in your age group choosing him as a padawan." he said and they all nodded.
"And at the moment you need more time Anakin, though a knight, in many ways still a padawan, you still need us." the second in command said gently and he nodded. "To answer the other question now is there was a pattern, a formula to his destruction process. But disruption, demoralization and distraction, all together they equal devastation." he said and the 23 year old nodded. "Just like your three piece warning, Master Yoda." he said and the grandmaster nodded.
"Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering and point made after my alter ego, Bruck's apprentice, killed the entire raider village." he told him and he nodded sternly. "So two ways this could go, if Bruck let go of his anger and hate at Obi-wan, he's your alter ego. Your alter ego's mentor, Xanatos or our Zabrak to Miro, Sidious to Qui and our un-named Sith to Master Yoda, that's the key here?" the Master on the radio asked and he nodded gently to him.
"Exactly, they got caught in attempted destruction 26 years ago, they're trying it twice, but my alter ego is getting annoyed here, but denial of promotion to master. To him, is like to Bruck after nobody in your age group chose him as a padawan, and instead of going to the darkside. Xanatos dug into his family records and started planting greed and hate into him, being Jedi means selfless, but us human Jedi, we're bound by virtues, not sin, working on his anger."
"Till he turned him, and only Obi-wan's same reaction, 12 years apart saved his life right now, but my alter ego, though he loves Obi-wan, he wants power. Bruck now, his resentment, after Father chose him, and Father decided no, not choosing another padawan. Obi-wan is his padawan and started carrying his lightsaber around with him now here. It's happening again, only this time, my alter ego is playing Bruck." he said and his mentor crossed his arms then.
"I remember after they got caught in the act, Qui-Gon grabbed his lightsaber and put it back on his belt, if you ended up getting stuck out there…." he asked and the knight nodded. "Deepest commitment, the most serious mind, I created 20, my primary is going home. As I give you that brother, but I got my back up, I have everything I need right here, I am a Jedi. But I never needed another mentor, I am your padawan, not leaving." he said in response and they smiled.
"I understand and I love you too." his mentor said gently at that, as a book quadrilogy dropped on the floor. "Jedi Quest: The Legacy of Xanatos, oh for crying out loud, that's you with Nield and Cerasi's children if she survived the blast, this one is you and their son. As I leave, and instead of wanting to stay, you're working out a way to bring me back now. By destroying the fighters, before this one, it's your return home and we're doing a second round of this now."
"Immediate probation, your clan is gaining their teams, I decided I'm not taking a new padawan you are my padawan, and you're looking at what I did and redoing all of it right now!" he said, picking up the book quartet then and looking through each one and the council nodded in shock. "Last one, what is it, if had this happened twice, you and he did?" he asked and he nodded. "It's after he and Dane rescued Tahiri, the dunk in the lake, caused his system to crash right now."
"The follow up mission directly after this, after whoever, possibly Brazen, followed in Bruck's footsteps, Brazen was killed in the fight with Anakin, same as me. And instead of shipping straight back out, Winna grounded him, because he lost 10 pounds after being stuck out there. And for over 6 weeks, you sent us to find out things on Unify, turns out that Kad is leader of the ship we got sent to, and you paired us up with Garen and Dane." he said and he nodded then.
"Looks like Omega was playing his father and Brazen was Bruck right now, you're me and I'm playing Qui-Gon, but you would never just let me go. You didn't want to leave, but you had no choice in the matter, if Qui-Gon was still alive." his mentor said and he nodded. "And does anybody else feel like we're going in circles here, we're playing back exchanges. That were like when you were still a youngling now, Obi-wan." the second in command said and he nodded.
"And the circle just got cut." the young knight said and he nodded in agreement. "He's at it again, Xanatos is never over, though we killed his son 4 years ago." his mentor said and he nodded. "Yep, he's never over and now attempt 2 now starts, but now, it's a matter of working through this, before it results in both you and me in the confrontation now. If the Chancellor and Sidious are one and the same now." he said and the trio nodded as their mentor smiled gently.
"And now know that's our you, I do, decoded his attempt to destroy us, before make a fatal mistake we do, you have. But our you that is doing the talking, earlier reaction, your alter ego, influenced by Bruck, if still alive he was right now." he said and his young knight nodded. "Yes Master, but my alter ego, to Bruck to the Zabrak, he's Miro's age group, to Sidious. And to our unknown assailant, said could be your age group for all I know." he said and the council nodded.
"What are you thinking about if you zoned out?" his mentor asked and he leaned forward. "That we got another problem, why is it, just as we can return to our ways of peacekeepers. He throws a curve at us, one meant to question my training in your next move. Our next move, almost like he's practically saying he and the Sith are one and the same now. He's, through the chancellor poisoning my training, questioning what you taught me." he said and they nodded.
"He ever consider we don't take the bait when he reveals himself to me, that we know this, we do it his way, and we die. We do it on our time, we win, as we bide our time, till he has every peaceful planet, he turns the galaxy into a dictatorship. As we bide our time, from democracy, to dictatorship and back again, as our allies now. Padme's department and every planet in the galaxy is wanting a shot at him, in wanting to kill him?" he asked and they nodded gently then.
"And only a Jedi can kill him, but not just any Jedi, but the Chosen One." The man said sternly and he nodded. "There are two ways that prophecy can go, he wants the Sith interpretation, where my alter ego becomes his next apprentice. Plunging the galaxy into darkness, and us destroyed, or, we do this our way, fake his purge. Everyone but you, me and Obi-wan go Grey Jedi till after his first weapon is destroyed and we come out of hiding." he said and they nodded.
"Now that you say that, never considered that thought I did, let him think he's won and then at the right time come out of hiding, and once again outnumber them, we do. As switch colors back and join with the Senator's own alliance now, and together we destroy him. After killed so many of us he has." the grandmaster said and his mentor nodded. "He killed father through the Zabrak, that's not going unpunished, but we have to play it smart, but first we have to be sure."
"This whole time, he could be in league with the Chancellor or he is the Chancellor I don't know, though that's true everything we fought for is all naught. We've lived a lie the last 14 years, the Sith have been in control of the Senate all this time. As they're killing us one by one, the them is the Separatists are in league with Sidious, they're wiping out us by this war. Before his final step, seduce my alter ego, Andy, by said power, and then the purge." he said and they nodded.
"Disturbing possibility that is indeed, why, just as we're almost at the end, put you as his personal representative on the council. Could be to have you question what your brother and we taught you, big possibility that is, it could be." the grandmaster said sternly then and his second nodded. "And the emphasis on the 'our' says it all to me, it was close and you break through his attempted manipulations, there's the you we know again." he said and he looked down then.
"Oops, yeah I just realized it now, that wasn't me talking a bit ago, but my alter ego." he said and they nodded. "So your alter ego wanted to be a master and why exactly?" he asked and he sighed. "As a master what area do you have access to that no one else, if not your rank?" he asked and his mentor crossed his arms. "The restricted section of the archives." he said and he nodded. "After mom and Yaddle, third time, he wanted that ability." he said and they nodded.
"Ability?" he asked and he nodded. "The power to save who he cares about by the force, that was the rant he laid at Padme, after doing a Nomi x300. And you and the duo felt the power blast before you found me on Tatooine." he said and they nodded. "That anger and lust for power are going to kill him or worse, cause him to turn to the darkside. If he doesn't control it right now, but safer option by coming to us first here." the second in command said gently then.
"Too late, he's too much under Palpatine's influence already, but see the difference?" he asked and the nodded in gentle agreement. "Indeed, you come to me for my guidance to see if there is a way, and truth is your father studied it already. But if Padme is his catalyst for that fall, let me guess, like you he too fell in love with her, while you passed it. Our test 3 years ago, he didn't, as he decided to keep that a secret, you tell us and you elope?" the man said and he nodded.
"Before I made any decision, I decided to tell you now, but that person I spoke of this time is Padme, you know what we mean to each other, we just never said it aloud." he said and they nodded, in relief he admitted it then. "I finally decided I had enough hiding, coming forward, after she told me what might trigger this, in why I need that power. But we're two sides of the whole, I die, she dies, out of heartbreak." he said and the grandmaster nodded slowly at that.
"If she says this later, it's if there was anyway that could cause it, then it's the you we know being destroyed by the power lust, you turning to the darkside. She finds out, she's praying she's wrong, before she hears his words coming out of your mouth. The his being your alter ego, he's lost his mind out of the power lust and I see it immediately. That's the death, your alter ego murdered you for absolute power." his mentor said, crossing his arms and the Master nodded.
"That's why I gave you that Master, just in case, just take my lightsaber if he got his way, and the lightsaber that does, did, the damage to us and the damage to the temple. Killing who knows how many other people, becomes the lightsaber that kills him." he said and they nodded to him then. "Understand we do and take care of baby we will, promise we do." he said and the knight nodded. "He's close to the edge, I'm hanging in there." he said and they both nodded.
"Death or worse, mean you do." he said and he nodded. "I do, Padme was just a means to an end for our Sithmaster, I'm the target, he wants me, as his apprentice." he said and they all nodded sternly. "Over my dead body, you Sith scum." the second in command said sternly then. "Indeed, getting to you over my dead body, he is, star pupil of mine you are, that finally show it now, but first everything on the table needs to be now." Master Yoda said and he nodded then.
"That's actually what I was trying to tell you, Master, her death could be, because she loses me, I die, she dies, and die in child-birth. But it's out finally, it's out, I'm the father, she's my wife, I can't lose her, I won't, because I do and you lose me next." he said and he nodded. "Not allow it to happen I will, if correct you are, then not on record our next move is right now." he said and his mentor and the second nodded in stern agreement, now that the truth was out finally then.
"I was considering in why me, why me, and not someone else, I'm only 23, but is it just you 5 that are masters, when we got 80 more, my team quartet all were. And Obi-wan just got promoted last year." he said and the man shook his head. "We're the Jedi version of the senate Anakin, I was a Jedi knight when I made council, and gained my promotion to master. But the reason for the delay is because I can tell something is on your mind." he said and he nodded.
"It happened again last night, Master." he said and he covered his eyes. "You're having those premonitions of a lost lost one again." he asked, leaning forward and he nodded. "I think my remission is over actually, these premonitions are spelling out my death at the hands. And of my alter ego, though he loves Obi-wan, he wants power, during my quest now in truth. I saw the Zabrak, and my lightsaber red, before coming too and it in blue." he said and he nodded sternly.
"Alright now this is serious, giving you wanted you wanted is a tactic any Sith or dark Jedi uses, you take it you belong to them after that, resist. Whatever you're needing we could have it, but why would that be needed exactly?" he asked and he looked down. "She's pregnant, I'm the father, she's 7 months pregnant, I have only 8 weeks." he said and they nodded in shock. "Sith scum, you are not getting your hands on them!" Jedi Master Agen Kolar snapped in shock then.
"Indeed now I'm worried, what are you thinking if this is connected to why you look like you were up all night, as the last time I saw you looking like this. Said after the Carver, alright what happened now exactly." he said and he sighed. "Nice choice in personal memories the last time we had this heart to heart talk was after my alter ego was pitracing. And got caught by first you and then Obi-wan." he said and his counterpart nodded with a bemused smile at the memory.
"Indeed, and though bemused I knew we had to talk, I was going to send you on that mission anyway with you this restless, before you got targeted by the Carver." he said and he nodded then. "And instead of a simple mission where I can create a ship and you reactivate the piloting program, I'm stuck in a life and death situation with a crazed assassin. And while I was creating revenue to buy a second, he killed our new one." he said and the man shook his head, sighing.
"Master, I don't suppose Master Yoda told you about my latest premonition, has he?" he asked and the dark skinned man leaned forward then. "He said it was about someone's life endanger, why do you ask?" he asked and the young knight leaned forward as he explained. "Today's request to have me join the council is part of Sidious's master plan, you denying mastery. As he throws a carrot necessary for my training, one that Father would have taught me in in truth."
"The heaviness of the darkside surrounds a single decision, a choice between what I told you both to my alter ego turning to him for that intel. He wants the power to save who he loves, if that power is with you, I need that, before he makes his move on us." he said and the second straightened at that news, "But follow through on it now, acting on his offer and it destroys everything we hold dear, or 2) ignore it and it happens." he said and the council nodded then.
"As Jedi masters you have access to the restricted section of the archives, there is something there that finishes my training. Training that Father would have taught me if he was still alive I have need of, but that choice, it means the difference. Between victory and defeat, I get that information, and our Sithmaster lost his only way to seduce me. And to the darkside, following said remember brother, want to return to the Jedi, well then be a Jedi, this is the moment now."
"Well I reached it now, I have only one chance, to outwit them, the Sith and the Dark Jedi, I act on that vision, and we're done for. Father's training, whatever he been studying, is my one chance, as you destroy his chance to get to me." he said and they nodded sternly, realizing this was a trap.
