Hello mah dudes, As promised, here is the flashback chapter for "Priscilla"
Although this is a flashback chapter, I made it main chapter-like since I love Priscilla.
The next chapter will be Meili's Birthday Part 2 (which would be a short one)

Not too long after the success of the Body Double plan, Subaru had to convince "Prisca" of giving up her chase for the throne. Knowing the personality of the little Prisca, Subaru knew that conflict would be inevitable.
With this in mind, Subaru finally pulled out one of his trump card abilities, unbeknownst to his Elsa…
Kissing her one last time before heading down at the back of the mansion to convince "Prisca", Elsa asked him to be careful and be wary of Prisca and Arakiya, for the reason that although they were children, they were still powerful individuals.
With this, Subaru reassured her with a chuckle, "Don't worry, I'll be fine. I am invincible after all since you have my heart", as he playfully gestured to her a kiss.
Laughing at his gesture, Elsa did not know that what Subaru stated was not a lie at all… Using his Authority of Greed, Lion's Heart, Subaru literally gave to Elsa his beating heart, and from that moment onwards, Subaru was truly invincible…
Going to the back of the Abellux mansion, Prisca proposed a wager to settle everything once and for all.
"This is the Land of Wolves, foreigner. Only the strong have the right to dictate the course of how we live. With that in mind, Let us settle this in a duel to know which one of us truly has the strength to who dictates who" Prisca voiced out as she folded her hands, unimpressed with the man she was facing.
Facing the familiar level of arrogance, Subaru retorted, "I do have a name you know! The name is Subaru Natsuki!", as he gave his iconic disco pose, paying little mind to the threat of "Prisca".
Laughing at the said pose, Prisca added, "You truly are funny~ Yes, You will be best suited to be a jester for entertainment for me and Arakiya"
"That is… if you win~" Subaru answered back with a smile as he bowed like a jester, mocking the little Prisca.
Seeing the mocking gesture, the smile of the little Sun Princess immediately disappeared just as it was then replaced by a look of irritation.
Striking a nerve, Subaru smiled at the fact that he could finally talk back and feel no fear towards the little "Priscilla", unlike his time in his previous life.
Seeing the arrogant smile, Prisca stated, "Wipe off that smile, jester! It seems like you need to be put into your rightful place!", as she pointed back at Subaru with disdain.
"Prisca, please do not get riled up by this measly man" Arakiya said as she looked back at Subaru with a very belittling gaze.
Seeing and hearing this, Subaru replied, "Measly… I am quite strong too, you know", as he looked back at the two casually.
"Oh please, your supposed girlfriend does all the heavy lifting… All you have are those four invisible hands and that camouflage gimmick like Vincent's assistant. Even I will be enough to defeat you, let alone Prisca" Arakiya answered back she then stood beside her friend and Master, Prisca.
Nodding at Arakiya's answer, Prisca got her composure and stared down Subaru, along with Arakiya.
"You don't have to put it that way… It really hurts my pride you know" Subaru pouted as he continued to eye the duo.
"Hmph, Trash like yourselves don't have pride. I will make sure you know of that after this duel" Prisca said as she folded her arms.
Hearing this, Subaru remembered the same words said to him back then in his previous life about having no Pride… Looking back, he truly had no pride as he always blamed himself and had no confidence in his plans… Even though he succeeded, he could not let go of the deaths that led him to the right answer… Up until the end of his previous life, he carried this mentality for such a long time…
Carrying every memory he held from his companions back then, it was shockingly the words of Priscilla back then that made him see that valuing oneself and one's decision gives the true power to change fate to their liking… Even though he was not able to manifest her ideals in his previous life, Subaru was sure to show her personally the lesson she taught him… And that right now he could truly change fate to his liking…
"Looks like you have gone silent. Has that struck a nerve?" Prisca asked with a light chuckle as she was amused by Subaru's silence.
Coming back down to earth, Subaru replied as he nodded his head, "Actually… it did. To say that I have no Pride would mean that I have lived my life in regret… Well, I do not live my life in regrets because I am proud of everything that I have done in this life… I love myself too much to be talked down by people who I know pales in comparison to the pride that I possess"
Smiling back at Subaru's retaliation, Prisca was impressed and very pleased with Subaru's answer, "Maybe you do have pride after all~ However, to say that you have pride that beats mineself, surely that kind of pride is just merely arrogance"
Chuckling back at her reply, Subaru came back with the exact words she taught him, "No, You are wrong… What I have is the pride that can change fate to my liking", resonating with the little Prisca.
"Is that so?"
"I know so" Subaru replied with a confident smile that made Prisca give out a genuine smile.
"I like you" Prisca responded as her demeanor softened up to the man she was up against.
"Maybe, if I were to give up my chase for the throne, I would really like it to have been from someone that is like mineself" Prisca replied as she saw the image of herself reflected in him.
"Prisca, What are you saying?" Arakiya responded
"Has your opinion about me changed?" Subaru asked as he smiled back to the little red-blonde girl.
"A little, actually" Prisca answered as she nodded approvingly.
"With that said, how about we raise the stakes?" Prisca added as she looked back at Subaru with a smile.
Smiling back at her, Subaru replied, "What do you have in mind?"
"You say that your pride can change fate itself. Well then, How about we put that into the test by fighting both Arakiya and I in the duel" Prisca answered as she was very expectant of Subaru's answer.
"Done"
"Also, winner owns the loser forever" Prisca stated as a sly smile escaped from her lips.
"Oh, Whoa there!"
"What? Getting cold feet?"
"W-Well, Not really but… Are you sure about this? Can you really possibly live with yourself under my ownership?"
"*chuckle* Oh please don't flatter yourself. That will never happen because I don't plan to lose" Prisca said as she met his gaze back seriously.
Seeing that she was serious, Subaru replied, "Well then, this is certainly a development I did not expect but… Don't you dare come crying to me when this is all over!"
"You accept then?"
"Deal! I will make sure that you two will call me "Daddy" by the end of this match!" Subaru replied as he teased the two to hype them up.
"Ugh, This man just revealed his true colors. What a truly perverted and repulsive man. Lady Prisca, I suggest that we leave him barely alive so that he could reflect on his actions" Arakiya commented to which Prisca nodded in agreement.
While the two opposing parties readied themselves for their duel, two people along the balcony of the mansion were looking down on them attentively.
"What seat do you place the Lilac Shadow among our ranks, Cecilus? Seeing that you have fought alongside her a while ago" The young man in the mask asked, curious at how truly strong the famed mercenary was in their military forces.
"It is as Chisha surmised, the current strength of mercenary is at around the Fifth Seat of the Nine Divine Generals" Cecilus answered as he added, "Although, I believe she could possibly reach the strength of Second Seat if she would just release her true killing instincts on the field like myself"
"Release her true killing instinct?"
"Yes, As I fought alongside her, I could feel the bloodlust within her just raging to come out, and yet she still continues to restrain herself in the heat of battle, which is quite sad really~"
"I see…" The man in the mask muttered as he now folded his arms and focused back to the man in question, Subaru Natsuki.
Removing his mask, the future Emperor of Vollachia, Vincent Abellux was curious at how the man Subaru Natsuki would fair against his sister and her sworn sword.
"Why are you interested in this young man, my liege. It is already obvious that this man is well below the famed mercenary"
"I don't think so. He has a lot of abilities that are unorthodox… Way different to any normal Divine Protection, Martial Arts, or Magic that we are accustomed fighting. Further, the man kept on displaying one new ability after another during our campaign… So, I want you to keep an eye of him carefully in this duel"
Seeing the serious gaze of his liege, Cecilus replied nonchalantly, "Okay~ Whatever you say, my liege", as he looked back down at the eventual battlefield.
Checking both oppositions, Cecilus could surmise that the battle would very much be one-sided at the fact that Arakiya herself had been fed multiple proper spirits before their assault on the Abellux mansion thus having all elements of magic at her disposal while the young Prisca had the Yang sword, one of the ten Divine swords, which could incinerate anything and everything the user wishes. While Subaru may have his unusual unseen hands and abilities of transformation, all could still be circumvented by various means.
"This will be a bloodbath or at least his blood anyway~ What are you going to do if they killed Lilac Shadow's partner? Knowing her, she would definitely come back for vengeance"
"That won't happen because you are here to stop the duel should you see him at death's door" Vincent replied.
"Ah, Yes, When all hope is lost, the main character shall make his entrance, bringing back light into the eyes of weak! I love it! *chuckle*" Cecilus answered jubilantly to which Vincent shook his head.
Looking back onto the open ground, Vincent thought, "Let me see what other secrets you are keeping, Subaru Natsuki"
Summoning her Yang sword from the air, Prisca stepped forward along with Arakiya by her side, letting their opponent know that they were ready. Taking a step forward himself, Subaru then assumed a wide stance signaling to them that he was ready.
Nodding their heads once in unison, Prisca and Arakiya were the first ones to make their move. Pointing their respective weapons directly at Subaru, the duo cast their respective spells.
"Goa"
"Huma"
Casting a ball of fire and water directly at Subaru, Subaru immediately blocked the said spells with his unseen hands.
Upon impact of the two spells, a white cloud of hot steam blew past Subaru.
"Whoa! Really!? You are going to scald me with this steam!" Subaru exclaimed as he tried to get the visual of the girls.
Getting out of the white vapor, Subaru saw the two girls split up as they continued their barrage of spells.
Guiding one unseen hand for each of them, Subaru was trying to get a hold of at least one of them, as he was defending himself from their barrage of spells with his remaining two unseen hands.
Seeing them jump and duck from his unseen hands with so much dexterity, Subaru was bewildered at the fact that they could dodge with so much precision.
Seeing this, Subaru knew that he had to focus more of his unseen hands to one of the two.
Running towards Prisca, Subaru moved two of his unseen to capture the little red-blonde girl. Noticing this, Prisca immediately backed away further as Arakiya casted "Dona" to block the way and vision of Subaru.
With the wall covering Subaru's vision, Subaru was unable to properly navigate his unseen hands to his target.
After a few more barrages of fire and water spells, the duo finally stopped to look back at their opponent.
Fanning himself amidst the white smoke, Subaru remarked, "You know that you have just wasted a lot of your mana from those spells, right?"
"We certainly don't think so" Prisca replied as she chuckled back.
"Hmmm?"
"This is where the real fight starts" Arakiya added, to which Prisca nodded.
"Well, I must say, you two have some guts to talk to your opponent with invisible hands *chuckle* I mean, I could have my hands ready at the side to take you any time"
Smiling back at his comment, Prisca replied, "Well, that is certainly a problem, but I really don't find you to be that type"
Chuckling back at the little Prisca, Subaru answered back, "Well now, How can you be so sure?"
Smirking back at her opponent, she replied, "Because all of your hands are right on top of you"
Widening his eyes as he heard this, Subaru looked up and came to see the purpose of their spells.
"Oh no, Subaru. What now? Your hands are not that invisible anymore, are they" Cecilus remarked as he smiled back at the plan of the little princess.
Seeing the vapor leave trails as he moved his unseen hands, Subaru was impressed at their creative solution.
"Not bad, But that won't be enough to beat me" Subaru looked back as he readied himself for the duo.
"Let us see about that" Prisca stated as she then looked back at Arakiya one more time before finally making their move.
Seeing her nod, the duo charged straightforward to Subaru's direction.
Launching two straight punches back at them with his unseen hands, Prisca and Arakiya, jumped and slid down, respectively, to dodge both attacks.
Seeing Prisca in mid-air, Subaru tried to swipe her across with his third unseen hand. However, seeing this, Arakiya immediately cast "Dona" on the ground, causing a small wall to form under Prisca's feet, to which she used it as a means launch herself up and dodge the incoming attack.
Casting both "Goa" and "Huma" once again, Subaru blocked the attack once more with his last unseen hand.
Blowing scorching steam right at his face, Subaru tried to reset his unseen hands. However, amidst the steam, two figures immediately came out to him at close range.
Dissipating her sword, Prisca threw a left hook at Subaru's face, while Arakiya kicked him in the gut.
Pushed back from the impact, Subaru came back with a smile, "Now, we are talking"
Coming back to him, Prisca and Arakiya continued to engage Subaru in hand-to-hand combat. While Subaru was able to block some of the attacks with his own arms and hands, Subaru would not be able to block all of them.
Pushing him back with their strikes and seeing their success, the duo turned up their volume and strength.
Hearing the thunderous impact of their fists connecting with Subaru's body, Vincent looked back at Cecilus, who wore a face of shock.
Getting clean hits to his face, stomach, and legs that were enough to cripple any person, the duo knew that there was something absolutely wrong. Feeling the pain from hitting his body numerous times, the duo knew that they needed to reset.
"Arakiya!"
"Got it!"
Turning at the same time, Arakiya and Prisca delivered one strong spinning back kick to Subaru's gut, which launched him off and go through to a nearby tree.
Breathing heavily as they tried to catch their breath, Prisca and Arakiya talked about what happened in their little scuffle.
"Lady Prisca, we were landing on him cleanly, no doubt about it, and yet…"
"And yet, how could he still move after all of that?" Prisca finished, as she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
Although, they have adjusted their strength at the initial scuffle between him so that they would not accidentally kill him, they eventually used their entire strength to deal those final blows, seeing that none of the blows seemed to affect him.
Seeing their bloody knuckles and dirtied up clothes, they now knew that they were facing no ordinary person.
As soon as the steam and dust finally settled, a rather nonchalant Subaru Natsuki, came standing back up from the tree where he was kicked.
"You didn't have to kick me that hard! I would have died, you know!" Subaru exclaimed as he casually walked back to them.
Impressed with the duo, Subaru finally came to the realization that he really needed to train more in hand-to-hand combat.
Although he felt no pain in all of their attacks, it was still irritating to be rag dolled by their attacks as he felt like ball in a pinball machine.
Looking back at the man they kicked, Prisca and Arakiya were stunned at what they were seeing.
"Impossible" Prisca said as she spoke the word that was in the minds of every person watching the battle.
Not a scratch, Not even a burn or blemish could be seen at the man who took their attacks. In addition, the clothes he was wearing was free of any dirt, as if nothing happened.
"What is this!?" Vincent muttered as he continued to be in disbelief.
Seeing their reaction, Subaru replied with a smile, "Nope, it is not impossible, Prisca"
"B-But how?" Arakiya stuttered.
"Because my Pride can change fate itself" Subaru replied, which made Prisca summon her sword in anger.
"Ridiculous! The world revolves around me and only me! Only I can change FATE!" Prisca shouted as she pointed with her sword, shining brilliantly under the sun.
Seeing that they were still not convinced that they couldn't win this battle, Subaru challenged them, "Fine, Tell you what… I will take all of your strongest attacks head on! And if I still don't fall, then I win this duel"
Taking deep breaths as she pointed her sword back at Subaru, Prisca pondered about his challenge. Although she appreciated this man to a point that she did not like to kill him… She still however needed to defend the most important thing to her, and that is her Pride…
Eclipsing everything else, nothing matters more to her than her Pride… To say that someone has more Pride than her was unthinkable… The world moves and operates for her and no one else…
Gripping tighter on the hilt of her Yang sword, she knows that she holds the power that could incinerate anyone and anything she desires.
"If his power could truly withstand this… then… I have no more reason to doubt" Prisca thought, as she answered, "I accept your challenge"
Hearing this, Subaru smiled as he now then invited them with open arms to show him what they got…
Closing his eyes briefly, Subaru used his Authority of Greed once more, to freeze the time of the air around him like Regulus did, back when they fought at Priestella.
"Seriously, it feels so~ illegal to use this Authority! *chuckle* I just fucking violated Priscilla and Arakiya in this one"
Opening up his eyes once more, Subaru added, "Well then, Let us get started, shall we?"
Letting the Yang sword be their last resort, Prisca let Arakiya go first to see how the spells react to him upon impact.
Raising her three-pronged wand, Arakiya pointed back at her target, with all intentions of killing him.
As torrents of wind built up in her wand, the nearby trees threatened themselves of being uprooted due to the sheer strength of the wind pulling it in.
Even with this, the man in black and orange has yet to feel any sense of urgency for what he was seeing.
Chanting the spell, "Al Fura!" A devastating torrent of wind blades came out flying from its caster. Tearing through everything along its wake, as with the ground, as soon as it finally reached the space of Subaru, the conjured-up wind blades immediately dissipated without a trace.
Gasping at what they have seen, they couldn't believe what they just saw.
"Cecilus" Vincent mentioned, as he was trying to know what his sworn sword saw that he couldn't.
"It is a barrier of some sort…"
"A barrier?"
"Yes… I saw the wind blades dissipate in an area around him… However…"
"What is it?"
"I don't see any mana tracing of any sort that suggests any barrier has been created by magic"
"What is this power!?" Vincent groaned as he couldn't fathom the powers this man possess.
Spell after spell of the strongest incantations for every existing element that could deal massive upfront damage to him, Subaru stood tall, unbothered by any of it…
Seeing all that she needed to see, Prisca knew that there was only one weapon that could reach his opponent, and that was her Yang sword.
Stepping forward as she pointed her sword, Cecilus and Vincent held the armrest of the balcony as they held their breath for what they are about to witness.
Wanting to be the strongest, Cecilus knew that in order to be the strongest, one has to be able to withstand your opponent's strongest attack.
Under his liege, Cecilus knew that he couldn't take on the mighty Yang sword of Vollachia. Able to burn absolutely anything the owner wishes, it is unthinkable to think that one could withstand power of the Divine sword…
Bypassing any form of spell travel, Prisca knew that her Yang sword could pass through his supposed barrier. The power of the Ten. The power of Royalty. The power to change Fate is in her hands, not in the hands of another!
Glaring back at her opponent with burning fury, Prisca focused on the man she wished to be nothing but ashes on her feet.
Hearing her wishes, the Divine Sword shined brilliantly as it granted it's owner's wish. With brilliant colors of red and orange suddenly engulfing Subaru, Prisca knew that her attack finally reached him.
Seeing the man slowly close his eyes, Prisca released a huge breath of relief.
"I did it… I reached him" Prisca said as she stumbled back down beside Arakiya.
"You did it, Lady Prisca" Arakiya told her as she tried to reassure her master.
Although the two girls were giving their sighs of relief, the two men at the balcony were speechless at what they were witnessing.
Burning the desired person of it's owner, the flames grew brighter and brighter as it tried to incinerate the man within it…
However, due to Subaru being an anomaly because of Lion's Heart, the flames could not touch the person, it's owner wanted to burn…
After growing at a substantial size as well as reaching its burning peak, the flames eventually put itself out…
What normally that would remain as nothing more than a pile of ashes, stood a man unhurt and unburned from the flames that could only be seen in hell.
With her sword dissipated, Prisca and Arakiya remained on the ground mouth agape at the man who finally opened his eyes.
"Hoo boy! Seriously, that last spell couldn't get any brighter! Even when I closed my eyes, it was like I had it open!" Subaru joked as he saw the stunned expressions of his opponents as well as his two spectators on the balcony.
Looking back at Prisca, Subaru asked the young girl, "Is that all?", making the little Sun Princess shiver in fear for the first time in her entire life.
For the first time in her life she felt vulnerable and defenseless… All her life, she regarded herself as nigh omnipotent as she never encountered a being that would dare oppose her, much more survive her wrath… This defeat gave her a reality check that there is one man that truly stands above her…
Answering him with a shake of her head, Subaru simply smiled as he was glad that the duel was finally over, "Looks like I win"
Using Stillness of Object's time once more, Subaru dashed to them to check their condition.
However, from the point of view of the people around Subaru, Subaru was immediately in front of the two girls at the blink of an eye.
Staggering back from Subaru's sudden appearance, Arakiya groaned in pain as she placed some weight on her injured hand.
Seeing fear within their eyes, Subaru reassured them that he was not going to hurt them…
Seeing that the outlandish abilities of the Authority of Greed were pretty much scaring the people around him, Subaru finally deactivated his Authority.
Asking them to let him see their hands and legs, to which they complied, Prisca and Arakiya were very much confused and surprisingly more submissive towards Subaru…
Seeing the injuries, Subaru remarked, "I am very sorry for this, I truly am. Really, if I had just been a bit better in my hand-to-hand combat, I probably would have prevented these injuries"
Hearing this, they couldn't believe what they were hearing! The man they tried to kill was blaming himself for the injuries they sustained themselves! Caring more about them than his well-being, Prisca and Arakiya were truly dumbfounded…
"I-It is not your fault… Master Subaru… the injuries were our own fault" Arakiya answered as her dog ears flattened out, submitting to the man they acknowledged as their superior.
Hearing Arakiya, Subaru playfully answered, "Oh, come on now, no need to be scared. I am totally on your side. In fact, you could think of me like a Father, okay"
Hearing this, the two girls remembered what the young man told them at the beginning of the duel… Blushing as they looked back at him, Prisca and Arakiya finally told him the words he "supposedly" wanted to hear from them.
"I-I…"
"We are sorry, Daddy" Prisca and Arakiya told him in unison.
Hearing these words, Subaru couldn't believe that two of the most prideful women he knew from another life just essentially called him "Daddy" of all things… Although it did fill him with pride and a slight sense of enjoyment, he, however, knew that this totally goes beyond the reason he is doing this in the first place…
Seeing the two acting uncharacteristically submissive, Subaru knew he had to explain to them his original intentions.
However, before that, Subaru knew that he needed to take the two girls to the nearest healer as soon as possible.
Putting Arakiya on his shoulders and Princess carrying Prisca in his arms, Subaru carried the two injured girls back into mansion.
Blushing as they have never been held like this in their entire lives, Arakiya and Prisca were, for the first time, truly flustered on what to think about the man that was carrying them.
Finally explaining to them his reason for wanting them to stop Prisca's chase for the throne, Prisca and Arakiya were surprised that the reason he did it was solely because he wanted them to be safe and be free from the conflict of the Empire.
Asking him his reason for wanting their safety, Subaru reasoned out to them that it was because he cared for them deeply, which made the hearts of the two girls skip a beat.
Further elaborating to them that they did not need to act so submissive to him just because he won, Subaru encouraged them to treat him like equals, like a friend... Promising that he would use his reward to give them a proper home, or domain in this case, Subaru just truly wanted them to live a happy and peaceful life… And should there be a time that they would need his help, He promised to be there to help however he can.
Making a point to them of all of their strong points as an individual and as partners, Prisca and Arakiya were blushing and at the same time bewildered for knowing and understanding so much about them… it was as if he had already lived a life with them in the first place…
Hearing his sentiments, the two girls eventually softened up to Subaru and became more open about the flaws that they have as compared to their mentioned strong points…
With the face of defeat they were finally opening their eyes to other ideals… With the Land of Wolves dictating that might is right, they knew that his ideals embodied true "fate-changing" strength…
Although Subaru shared his ideals to them, Subaru did not order them to follow his said ideals but instead learn from it and use it to get stronger and be better without losing themselves in the process.
Giving the man a delighted smile, Prisca and Arakiya at that moment truly acknowledged Subaru, not only as equals but also as a friend and a true man, worthy of all of what they are…
Walking through multiple hallways, Subaru apologized at the fact that although he had many useful abilities for combat, he really doesn't have that many abilities of utility.
Telling him not to worry, the two girls made small talk with Subaru. With the conversations being filled with cheer and laughter, Subaru knew right then and there that he finally succeeded at what set out to do…
Raising up topic of them having a new life, Prisca and Arakiya discussed about what would happen to them after Vincent's coronation…
With Arakiya bringing out the point that Prisca could not live with her original name anymore, Prisca, with a blush, asked Subaru to name her since he was the one who gave her this new life in the first place…
Looking back to her eyes with sincerity, Subaru knew what name he wanted to give to Prisca.
"Daddy's Property" Subaru said with a smile.
Hearing this, Prisca and Arakiya blushed a deep red as they couldn't believe what he just said.
Feeling their bodies tense up Subaru immediately stopped the incoming punches from the two girls with his unseen hands.
"You Pervert! You scum! I can't believe I fell for your words!"
"You are the worst! How dare you!"
"I am just kidding! Of Course, I wouldn't name you that" Subaru retorted as he tried to calm down the two girls.
"Priscilla… I would name you Priscilla… See, a beautiful name for a beautiful girl" Subaru said as he slowly move his hand to playfully tug at the cheek of the blushing little Sun Princess…
Hearing the name, the two girls eventually calmed down and nodded at Subaru's suggestion approvingly…
Chuckling at the reaction of the two, Prisca and Arakiya could only fold their arms and mutter "Idiot", as the man they came to admire truly has no idea on how to treat other women.
Finally arriving to the healers, Subaru gently placed both of them down and left them to the capable hands of the healers…
Leaving them to their own devices, Priscilla and Arakiya talked about what they should do moving forward…
Arriving at the Main Hall of the mansion as he tried to make his way to the front of the mansion to meet Elsa, Subaru was stopped by a rather serious Vincent and Cecilus…
After talking about everything that happened in the duel, Subaru was then offered by Vincent the First Seat of the Nine Divine General, much to the recommendation of Cecilus himself, who even wanted to test himself against Subaru.
Declining the offer much like Elsa's reasoning as well, Subaru however reassured Vincent that should he ever needed their help… that is within reason and for good… they will be there to help him.
Stating that he would rather much prefer to live his life in peace with Elsa and their daughter, Subaru reassured Vincent that he would never ever be a problem for them… because to him he is like a friend…

Finally finished braiding Elsa's hair, Subaru and Elsa then finally made their way to the living room.
Seeing this, Anastasia greeted them back to the living room along with a rather embarrassed apology to Elsa for what happened a while ago.
"Do not worry, Anna. It is just one of our sisterly banters, right?" Elsa responded with a chuckle, reassuring Anna that all was fine, to which she chuckled and nodded agreeingly.
"I'll leave it up to you now, Anna" Subaru said as they were now finally leaving to celebrate the first half of their little girl's birthday.
Looking back to both of them with a sincere smile, Anastasia answered, "Leave it to me"
Nodding at her response, the couple now went outside to call for their little girl.
"Meili!~ Meili!~ It is time to go, sweetie!" Subaru called out as he then saw his beautiful little girl coming around at the corner of the house.
"Mommy! Daddy! Help Me! The Monsters are chasing me!" Meili exclaimed with a laugh as she was running away from the Pearlbaton triplets.
Going into the arms of his Father, Meili waved away the Pearlbaton triplets who were jumping as they tried to reach out to Meili.
"Na-Uh Uh, My little princess will not get eaten today! Not on my watch" Subaru said as he raised Meili onto his shoulders.
Putting her tongue out at the triplets, the triplets could only laugh and complain about how Meili is cheating.
Amidst the joy and laughter of the children, Subaru and Elsa finally told them that they were about to go out for a while, to which the triplets immediately knew what they had to do, knowing the surprise present for Meili.
Although Meili still wanted to play, the triplets reassured her that they will still be here when she gets back. Asking her to enjoy her day with her parents first, Meili eventually agreed on finally leaving with her parents.
"You guys better be here when I get back, okay!?" Meili exclaimed as she was let down by her Father, letting her embrace the Pearlbaton triplets.
"We promise, Meili"
"You go out and have fun with your parents"
"We will wait for you"
Letting go of her friends, the little Meili waved back to her friends one last time before grabbing onto the hands of her beloved parents…
Walking down the paved street, Meili delightfully swung the arms of her parents as she talked about the games she played with the Pearlbaton triplets, much to delight of her parents.
After a short while, Subaru and Elsa finally came across Anastasia's head of construction. Walking passed them with a nod, Subaru and Elsa knew that their surprise is going just as planned.
In a hushed voice as their little Meili hummed her favorite tune, Subaru and Elsa talked about the brand-new room they were about to give Meili.
"Anna didn't need to put the head of construction for this job. It is just a simple renovation for one room" Elsa said as she knew the man for working one of the most beautiful and prominent landmarks of Kararagi.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you. Anna told me that other than Meili's room, she would also try to renovate a few of our other rooms as well" Subaru replied, which received a surprised reaction from Elsa.
Stating to Subaru that Anastasia had already given them so much, Subaru immediately knew where the conversation was going. Recounting his conversation with Anastasia to her, Subaru reassured Elsa that Anastasia wouldn't go overboard with the renovations.
Halfway through their walk to the village, Subaru and Elsa saw three construction workers walking pass them.
"See, Honey~ I told you that Anna is not going to go overboard with the house." Subaru said to which his wife replied with a sigh of relief.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, It is just that Anna is quite known for doing stuff a bit over the top." Elsa answered back with a chuckle.
Convinced that Anastasia wouldn't go overboard, the trio continued their walk down to the village…
However, not too long after the three construction workers… another three would walk pass them… making them laugh as the couple tried to reason out that they Anastasia just wanted to get the work faster…
However, as they started to get near to the village, five construction workers walked pass them… then ten…
Just as they finally reached the side entrance to the village, they were stopped by an old man with a Dragon Cart filled with woods and stones.
"Excuse me, young fella. Do you happen to know where the Natsuki Residence is?"
"O-Oh, It is along this road. At the end of it is the Natsuki Residence" Subaru pointed as he thought, "Surely, this is the last guy that Anastasia hired…"
However, just as he thought of that, the old man screamed, "We found it boys! Get your Dragons moving! We only got until five PM in this Bitch! Time is money! Let's go! Lady Anastasia is waiting!"
Leading the way, a fleet of dragon carts and Dragon carriages soon made their way to the road to the Natsuki Residence.
While Meili was in awe and jumping aloud in joy of seeing multiple Ground dragons and carriages, Subaru and Elsa simply had their jaws wide open at what they were witnessing…
"Honey, they are just doing renovations, right?" Elsa asked.
