(Chapter 4: A Team Of 3)
Dot was down at the computer area as she was fixing some componants to the main computer.
Dot: There we go. Matilda is up and running.
I was outside in the front yard, training. Wakko goes near me as I quickly unshiefed my sword and pointing it a tad bit close to his neck.
Yakko: What is it, Wakko...
Wakko: We got a bit of a problem.
I shiefed my sword as I head inside, me and Wakko went to the base of operations, only to see that somethingbwas way wrong than I imagined. It was a message from Salazar himself.
Yakko: Play the message.
The message started playing.
Salazar: So, you decided to follow in your own parent's footsteps, no? You may think you're just simple heroes, but you're not. You won't be able to stop me and my henchmen. We will find and kill each of you, and you will be meeting your parents in hell.
The message then ended.
Matilda: Would you like me to play the message again, master Yakko?
Yakko: No...
I Iooked at the screen with pure rage. I got back up the the surface.
A few hours later, I was at the graveyard, looking down at our parent's graves. I shed a tear, seeing their tombstones. I sat down on a nearby bench, upset.
Someone then shows up and sits next to me. It was Nicole Watterson, one of my old High School crushes.
Nicole: I see you're paying respects to the fallen...
Yakko: ... my parents...
Nicole looked at the two tombstones of my parents.
Nicole: Oh... I'm sorry about your loss, Yakko... If you needed me, I'll be in a apartment in Burbank.
Nicole hugged me a bit before getting up and back into her car. I looked up at the tombstones a bit.
Yakko: I will defeat Salazar... I promise...
I got up from the bench as I was about to head home. As I was heading home, I felt like someone was following me to my home, I looked around me to see if anyone was about to attack.
Yakko: I know you're there! Come out and fight!!!
Suddenly, I was attacked, I fell to the ground, I turned to see who attacked. It was the same strong guy who attacked me a few days back... Dwayne...
Yakko: ... It's you...
I was lifted up slightly and then I was thrown into ongoing traffic. Before I got ran over, I got up and dodged out of the way. Dwayne walked to and punched me in the chest, sending me flying towards a wall. I slammed into the wall, pretty badly, as it had shattered all of my bones. Dwayne walked towards me, he picked me up and was about to punch me hard before the police showed up and surrounded him. Dwayne ran off as he dropped me. I took out a beacon that Dot gave me and I activated it, sending the signal to her.
A few minutes later, Dot arrived to my location, worried that I was beaten and bruised.
Dot: Oh god... Who did this to you?!
Yakko: ... Salazar sent him to kill me...
Dot carries me as she heads back to the house. She lays me down on a table, as a groan in pain.
Dot: Holy shit... everything in your body is broken.
Yakko: You think??
Dot heals me up with her magic.
Dot: How did this happen to you??
Yakko: Salazar sent Dwayne to kill me...
Dot: The last time we saw that asshole, we sent him away from the studio.
Yakko: Yeah, but it seems that he's working for Salazar.
Dot: wait... Before we woke up next to the house... we were attacked be 3 men. the first 2 are Dwayne and Salazar... but who was that third person??
Yakko: I'm not sure.
A few hours pass, and I was with Wakko and Dot at the store. I was getting bowls of noodles for each of us, it was where I saw Nora... the former ceo of the WB studio. She was accompanied by her daughter Cora. Nora saw me.
Yakko: Oh... hey.
Nora: I never thought I would be seeing you again.
Yakko: Yeah. And I thought today was getting worse.
Nora: I kinda saw what was happening downtown. You took a pretty nasty hit. I had to call the police about what was happening.
Yakko: You called them?
Nora: Yeah.
I then checked up on where Dot is, and she had a bag full of pregnancy tests.
Nora: So... you don't mind if me and Cora drop by to where you live?
I then looked back at Nora.
Yakko: No. I don't mind.
I wrote down the location of the house on a piece of paper and gave it to Nora. She smiled and went back to her daughter. I went to check up on Dot.
Yakko: You okay, sis?
Dot: Yeah, I'm okay. I was feeling strange, and I wonder if something is wrong.
I looked confused a bit. We went back to the house, and I was sitting at the table, as Dot was in her room. I was waiting for her when I heard a knock on the door. I went to the door and opened it. Nora and Cora were right at the doorstep.
Nora: Hey.
Yakko: Oh... uh, hi, Nora.
I brought Nora and Cora inside the house, they then sat at the table. I then sat down.
Cora looked around the house from her seat before getting up and going near the picture frame.
Cora: Hey, who's this in the picture?
I looked at Cora and I got up and went to her.
Yakko: ... That would be my parents...
Cora: What happened?
Yakko: ... they're dead.
Nora and Cora looked at me as I grabbed the picture frame. Dot got out of her room, with a slight smirk on her face, she walked downstairs.
Dot: Yakko, can you meet me in my room??
I looked at Dot a bit as she went back to her room. I followed her inside and closed the door behind me.
Yakko: What is it, sis?
Dot showed me a pregnancy test, and it showed positive. I was a bit surprised as she was.
Dot: I'm pregnant, Yakko. I don't look it, but I'm about 9 months pregnant.
Me and Dot smiled a bit as I hugged her.
Around midnight, I was sleeping in my bed, as I hear Dot slowly open my door. She then went to me.
Dot: Hey, Yakko...
I wake up a bit and looked at Dot.
Yakko: Yeah, sis?
Dot: I kinda want to be close to you, instead of being in my room the whole time.
I smiled a little as she came close to the side of the bed.
Yakko: I care alot for you and Wakko. I just don't want to imagine myself without you or him. You two are the only family I have now...
Dot: I know...
Dot gets into the bed and lays down next to me.
Dot: Thanks for caring about us, Yakko.
Yakko: Anytime, sis.. anytime..
We woke up the next day to an alarm. We then went down to the base, as we see Wakko near Matilda.
Yakko: What's wrong?
Wakko: Salazar made his move at the national bank.
Dot: Any reading?
Wakko: Salazar and his gang straight up killed half of the people and locked the hostages in the bank vault after his goons took the money.
Yakko: Well well, looks like we have to go find them.
Me, Wakko, and Dot grabbed out weapons and headed off to the bank. The bank was in a state of disrepair.
Dot: Holy shit... This place is a lost cause..
We head inside the bank, hundreds of dead bodies lay on the ground, almost to the point of making Dot sick to her stomach.
Dot: Fuck, I think I'm gonna be sick.
Dot gags a bit as we went deeper in the bank. Stepping over the bodies of the people of the bank, we then see the bank vault. It was welded shut.
Wakko: God damnit, it's welded shut.
I went close to the door and placed my hand on it. I then sensed around 4 people in the vault.
Dot: Anything?
Yakko: 4 people. A security guard, a mother with her child, and one of the bank tellers.
Dot: How are we supposed to get them out of the vault? It's welded shut, and these don't look like the type of welding I've seen.
I then closed my eyes, as I sensed a blowtorch in the maintenance room, I then opened my eyes again.
Dot: Yakko? You okay!
Yakko: The blowtorch should be in the maintenance room, the door isn't locked, so you should be able to get in the room.
Wakko: How do you know?
Yakko: I don't know... Something kicked in, causing me to know where important items are.
Dot then heads to the maintenance room to get the blowtorch. She then headed bak to the vault door, as she then proceeded to loosen the vault door. Dot then got the vault door free and opened the door. The 4 hostages then see us open the vault door.
The hostages then ran out of the vault, with one of them hugging Yakko.
Woman: Oh thank god, thank you!
Yakko: Just doing our job, ma'am.
