Din sat in the cockpit, The Child in his chair behind him with Cara at their side. She leaned against the wall as the stars whizzed past. Din stared off into the distance, unseeing of the world around him as he found himself lost in his own thoughts. He couldn't stop thinking about Maleena, about what could be happening to her and what would happen after he reunited with her. He hadn't sensed Cara getting closer, jumping slightly at the feeling of her hand against his shoulder."We will get her back."Her words did little to settle his nerves, shrugging her hand away and standing. He briefly nodded to her and allowed his finger to lightly graze the Child's head as he passed them both to step down the metal stairs. He took a small breath in to centre himself before he turned. He raised his blaster. His mind whirled. How?In front of him sat the two Mandalorian guards, their elbows resting on the table as they were arm wrestling, with Greef Karga cheering the pair on. It was a perfectly normal sight, one of which Din was used to. He was used to other people in his ship, filling in time until their mission and parting of ways...But this?He couldn't believe it.Their helmets lay discarded at their feet.He saw their faces..."Woh Mando relax!" Greef shouted, bringing the rooms attention over to his raised blaster. Both Mandalorian's frowned as Greef stood. "Calm yourself!" Greef shuffled around the pair and walked over to Din, the blaster levelling with his face as he got closer."How can you bring imposters along? They are wearing stolen armour." Din asked angrily. The guards stood, with Cara sliding down the stairs behind Din, the Child secured in her arms. Time seemed to pass by as Din seethed, unsure about whether or not he should kill both of the guards where they stood for stealing armour and impersonating his people, or Greef for bringing them aboard."Look buddy, it isn't what it looks like," One of the guards, a pale thin man with jet black hair attempted, shrugging as the other guard nodded. "I don't know what hole you came from but on Mandalore where we both lived and trained we earned this armour.""If anyone is a traitor it's you." The second guard, a blonde haired man with a round face sneered. "Backwards cult freak."Din's hand swung around, pointing the blaster firmly at the second guard. Greef put his hands on Din's arm, only to have it shrugged away forcefully. "You know nothing about me." Din's voice rasped darkly as the guard laughed."I know you are a backwards Children of the Watch loser," The blonde raised his eyebrow. "That you have been forced to live your whole life on a lie. Us true Mandalorian's laugh at your kind. I didn't even realise any still existed."Din stepped forward, blaster unwavering. "You know nothing about being a Mandalorian."The blaster came into contact with the guards chest plate, the guard immediately slapping it away. "I sure as hell know a lot more than you," The guard leaned in even closer to Din. "You think hiding behind a mask your whole life is what it's all about? Hate to break it to you buddy but the helmet can come off whenever. Real Mandalorian's don't live by your code."Din squared up to the man, his shoulders tensed. Sensing the growing hostility Cara stepped forward. "You guys done?"It only took a second before Din the guard shrugged and sat back down, unaffected by Din's hostility, who chose to stay stood infront of him. The child cooing made Din turn, seeing the Child's sad face. Cara smiled softly at him as he holstered his gun and stepped up the ladder into the cockpit. He hadn't even sat down before Cara was behind him, the Child making grabbing motions at Din. Din took him from Cara as she sat.Silence spread across the pair, the muffled sounds of laughter from further in the ship filled the silence. Din sighed deeply at the Child, who wanted nothing more than to be held closer to Din."What was that back there?" Din turned at her question but didn't respond.A beeping broke the silence, alerting him that they were close to their destination. After hitting a few buttons and monitoring the screens he looked over his shoulder at Cara, motioning with his head towards the cockpit door. "Tell the others we are close. Be prepared for immediate docking."Cara nodded and left Din and the Child alone, the details of the plan swirling around his head as he sat. He wasn't a big fan of the idea - he didn't think it was a good idea to just storm in and hope they can grab some stormtrooper costumes before anyone notices them. In fact, he hated the idea of swapping his armour more than being used as the bait. Why was he always the bait?A sigh escaped and filtered through the helmet, with the Child reaching his small hand up. Din pushed his hand down as Greef stepped into the cockpit, the Child frowning at him. Greef slapped Din's shoulder as he leaned over him to look out of the window. "You ready Mando?"Din pressed a few buttons, dropping the Razor Crest out of lightspeed. He didn't respond as the ship shuddered, nor did he blink at the looming cruiser that flashed before them. It was a huge ship, something which ordinarily would have made anyone turn in the other direction. But Din knew he had no choice. He wanted his partner back after all.So he sucked up his pride and watched as Greef leant over his to press the comms button on the console to respond to the robotic voice that wanted to know immediately why they were here. "Tell Gideon I have something he wants. Tell him it's urgent."A pause. The robotic voice crackled to life. "What have you in your possession?""A certain Mandalorian..." Greef looked over at Din. "And Child. "It's response wasn't immediate, the tension growing as they waited. "Affirmative. You are free to dock." The voice cut off as Din stared at Greef who looked sheepish as he shook his head." You know you wouldn't have been enough." Greef explained."If they hurt him, you're dead." Din angrily muttered as he steered the ship into the cruiser, landing perfectly around other imperial ships. Greef reached out and grabbed Din's hands, handcuffing them together as they stood. It wasn't an easy task to get down the stairs, but with the stormtroopers waiting near the landing ramp they had to make it convincing. Din knew Cara and the Child, along with the guards, had hidden deeper in the ship. Greef waved to them as they stood side by side, blasters raised at the pair."Now now gentleman put the weapons down huh? There's no need for such anger!" Greef shouted."Step aside," One stormtrooper mentioned, his blaster shifting to the side. "We have this under control."Greef bellowed a fake laugh. "Who ever said you didn't!" A creak from further down in the ship caused Greef to cough. " Stupid tin can is one step away from breaking. Lord knows how it still flies. "One stormtrooper stepped forward, the other following in step behind. Din silently walked so he was trailing the pair, stalking them as if he was a predator. A blaster shot rang out from the right as the first stormtrooper crumpled, the second being so shocked that Din had time to headbutt the man before he even shouted. When both bodies lay on the floor Cara stepped out from the shadows, her blaster lowered by her side."Now to get dressed huh?" Cara threw her blaster over to Greef who caught it as she sunk down onto her knees and began removing the stormtrooper armour one by one. Her focus was solely on the body infront of her.As she removed the helmet and tucked it under her arm she sat back, surrounded by white armour as she looked up to Din. "What do we do with the second guy?" She nodded over to Greef. "Not like the pair of you can really come in disguise."Din shook his head. "One of the guards can."At this the blonde guard stepped into the group. "No way are you getting me in that thing."Din sneered, his voice became sharp. "You should have no qualms... After all you said it yourself you can do anything."" Oh yeah? Ever say I wanted to charge headfirst onto an imperial ship, did I? " The guard replied sarcastically."No honour." Din simply stated. Before the blonde Mandalorian guard could respond, the other guard stepped forward and knelt next to Cara. "Keep your mouths shut. I'll come with." Cara nodded slowly as she raised her eyebrow and glanced over at Din. He didn't move or even indicate he was looking at her as he stared the blonde Mandalorian down, so she huffed and began putting the armour onto her body. It covered her dark clothes underneath and made her look like one of the people she swore to irradicate. It made her skin crawl, but knowing time was off the essence, and it was vital she stick to the plan she shrugged her anger aside. It wasn't for her, after all.She kept repeating this mantra in her head as she stood alongside the Mandalorian guard, fully decorated in imperial armour. Din had Greef remove his handcuffs so that he could personally see to the Child himself. Cara and the guard now stood at the ramp of the ship, impersonating stormtroopers as Greef watched Din grab the Child and force him into a small cupboard at the side of the ship. As he locked the small hatch he turned to the blonde Mandalorian and pointed a finger at him.

"Anything happens you're dead." Din didn't wait for a response as he turned and allowed Greef slapped the handcuffs back onto him. They started down the ramp with Cara and the guard following behind.
