"Make the blue badger… run." Dr. Done It ordered Rusty.
Rusty obliged, putting her attention back on the control panel and taps on a few controls to make the hamster ball go faster along with the spiky objects moving faster, forcing Sonic to begin boosting his speed. Rusty lifted her head upward and averted her sight on Sonic whom has now began moving round in the hamster ball.
"Come on Amy, a little compassion for your boy, Sonic?" Sonic asked Rusty urgently as she stepped away from the control panel and toward Sonic in the hamster ball as close as she could outside the test platform.
"Seriously, you can't be that heartless." Sonic pleaded to Rusty.
"Birdie would disagree." Rusty responded to Sonic as she pushed a countrol on the left side of her chest with an index finger from left metallic hand.
Sonic stopped using his boost and looked down at Rusty
The double hatch to her chest opens, revealing the dark indego flinky in the middle of her chest in replacement of heart and lungs, which is serving as Rusty's life support.
Sonic viewed the poor flicky inhaling in and out from it's beck.
"Oh, that is messed up." Sonic reacted in griff for the unfortunate bird.
Suddenly, a spiky object hit Sonic knocking him on the edge of the hamster ball and he got dragged around from it's moving.
"SONIC!" Nine shouted out to him as he was about to start coming to him.
A mecha readied it's electric zapper, shocks Tails with it and returned to it's guarding position.
From witnessing the assault that's just been commented on Nine, Sonic got enraged.
"Grr… you eggheads wanna test me? You wanna know how to tick a hedgehog off?" Sonic growling asked the Chaos council sitting in their hover chairs before him.
"BY MESSING WITH HIS FRIENDS!" Sonic answered for them in shouting as he revved up his feet before doing a double boost with his super speed, starting to move around the hamster ball in the process,
When fast enough, Sonic spun into a spin dash and smashes up all the spiky objects in the hamster ball with him which somehow digitally disappeared. Sonic then return to running position and boosted even faster on the hamster ball. Suddenly, Sonic thought back on the five versions of Eggman.
"Wait, if those five were Eggman all over and they're testing out my abilities, then…" Sonic reckoned about for a second and realised what they're intentions are.
"Oh no, they wanna use me for something. Well I've been hoping that Nine has an escape plan, but in case he don't, I better get us outta here." Sonic thought.
Sonic jumped off the edge of the hamster ball to the centre of it, spins rapidly then homing attacks the edge of the hamster ball on the right and bounced to the top slightly harder. Then the force of the homing attack had Sonic going in rapid angles faster has the hits increasingly gotten harder with most of the turns on the right bring sharper than the turns on the left due to the spinning of the hamster ball. As the hits got harder, the hamster ball started moving sideways from the impact, hitting the metal tube supporters activating the hamster ball in the process.
Though it didn't concern the Chaos council for they're rather fascinated with Sonic's abilities they're witnessing happening in the test chamber. Pleased with what they're seeing from Sonic, they're hoping that he would give up in trying to bust out from the hamster ball and return to running up to his full speed so that they can see what his maximum energy level is and what accurate powers he has. Suddenly, there's a smashing sound heard from the hamster ball, gaining the council's attention just in time to witness that Sonic just smashed out of the hamster ball due to the metal tube supporters activating the hamster ball of it no longer able to withstand Sonic's spin dashes, then the blue blur ran towards the glass and spin dashed through it, sped toward the two evil mechas between Nine and smashed them up in spin dashes before grabbing Nine and zoomed round the building for a way out as the Chaos council shouted out demandingly for the hedgehog to be stopped.
After finding the Chaos council's garage where they keep they're lifeform controlled mega machines, Sonic dropped Nine in his arms, made a hole in the door with an homing attack, quickly grabbed Nine in his super speed again, zoomed out of the Chao council's building and boosted his speed as much as possible with his speed increasing rapidly, jumped over their electric fence and into the city streets of New Yoke. Knowing that the council shall be on a search for them, they're both hoping to find a subway station so that the both of them shall be out of sight and back to Nine's base before even bring found by one of the Eggman's.
However the exact moment Sonic entered the city streets, he revved up to beyond his usual maximum and created a sonic boom as two forms of dark blue which turned out to be fibrics of the void of the shattered verse unknown to Sonic surrounded with an image of Shadow the hedgehog by his left.
"Sonic." A voice spoke to him.
Sonic turned his head a 41 degree left and spotted the hedgehog image that resembles Shadow.
"Gasped, Shadow?" Sonic gasped questionably in shocked reaction to the image of Shadow in the form of dark blue.
"Sonic, it's broken. It's all broken." The image told Sonic.
Sonic quickly turned his head back frontward and stated panicking.
"Oh no, I think I started to hallucinate." Sonic baffled in panicking reaction.
"SONIC LOOK OUT!" Nine shouted out having Sonic looked fount ward spotting a subway station ahead.
"WHOA!" Sonic reacted pressing his feet firming on the ground, skidding to stop just inches from the subway station, wobbled, but regained his balance and puts Nine down.
"Come on, let's get back to base." Nine told Sonic as he hurried into the subway station with Sonic tagging on following him flimsy due to the series of stress tests the Chaos council had put him through.
"Right behind ya Nine." Sonic responded as he's entering the subway station.
