When Tecna opened her eyes could recognize that she was in the infirmary despite the headache she managed to get up , the fairy could remeber that she and the girls where fighting an extrange sorcerer that threatened a little village in Limphea when the man shooted her whit a magic blast .
After few minutes Ofelia entered the room whit some potions and get a bit surprised to see her up .
"Oh you're finally awake , you've been unconscious for almost two weeks" the nurse said calmly - your friends where very worried about you .
"Two weeks ... what happened to me ?" the fairy asked unbelieving .
"It's difficult to say ... you received the impact of a powerful magical attack that it seems to have drained your magic so i'm sorry to tell you that but your fairy powers have disapered " Ofelia answered trying to soften the bad news .
" What but that's impossible that means I'm no longer a fairy what I'm going to do now " Tecna's confusion could be feel in her words "I have to speak with miss Farangonda "
"You will speak with her later for now you must rest I'm going tell your friends you are awake" with this words the nurse left the room leaving the confused girl alone with her thoughts.
The hours passed and Tecna was getting more and more worried , the fear of having to go home , the fear of her parents reaction to her failure , the fear of the punishment she will get ...
Her tought were interrupted when the winx entered the room , all of then hugged Tecna but she notice that Stella wasn't whit them .
"sleepyhead well worried about you , Ofelia tell us that you've been in coma" Bloom said "and sorry for Stella's not here , she's had to go to something important in Solaria ... princess stuff I thing" .
"Well it's natural that a princess like her had obligations" The tecnology fairy respond hiding her concern - "It's good to see you all again how have these two weeks been ?"
" Bored" all the winx exclaimed ad the same time .
"If you don't remember , we had a week of exams so we couldn't meet the boys" Layla told the ex-fairy without realizing the implications of her words, when she realiced her mistake it was to late .
"Oh talking about the boys , how's timmy ?" Tecna innocently asked .
Tecna's question cause a silence on the room , none of them dared to answer , if it had been difficult for them to accept the reality they couldn't imagine how it would be for her . Finally Flora got up courege to tell the truth "Tecna ... I'm sorry we couldn't protected him " tears began to apper on the nature fairy face "Timmy is no longer with us" .
"What !"Tecna cried , the emotions where like an storm inside of her but she managed to repress them giving the impression that she was calm " what happened to him ?".
"We don't now ... two days after you get on coma he was found dead in his room, Faragonda told us it was a suicide , we don't know more details" musa explained .
The sound of the door opening interrupted the conversation , when the girls tourned around they could see Ofelia accompained by the headmistress their faces showed that they didn't bring good news .
"I'm sorry girls but I need to speak with Tecna , Ofelia please scort them out " Faragonda ordered while sat next to the ex-fairy , once the gilrs left the room the headmistress focused on Tecna " I'm here to speak about your situation , the loss of your powers makes you uneble to continue your studies here so you will retourn to Zenith - the expresion on the headmistress face remain expresionless - your parents have already been notified of your recovery and are on their way to pick you up so be sure to pick up your things soon" with that Farangonda got up and walked out of the room "oh and my condolences about Timmy I know you two where very close".
Tecna was incapable to react , realizing she that she had lost her powers , Timmy's death and being forced to leave Alfea it was to much for her and for the first time in years she succumbed to her emotions by breaking down in tears .
