World of Light: Champions Of Light And Shadow

Disclaimer: Seriously do I look like I own any of these characters? XD None of them are mine, they belong to their IPs companies and them alone. The only thing I own is this fan fic and that's it. =3

Genre: Adventure/Humor/Friendship

Note: I'm basically going through World of Light now that the entire roster is completed. So this will kinda like be like a diary/novelization of my journey. =3 I hope you all enjoy it!

As for the FE avatar counterparts, I'm only doing one of each gender. So we'll have Male Robin and Female Corrin (since from what I've seen Fire Emblem wise, they seem to be the canon genders based on FE spin-offs XD)

Not sure on Byleth and the Mii fighters yet though, I'll come back to this at the end of the chapter to go into detail how you lovely readers can help out. =D

Summary: Left alone as the only survivor after Galeem decimated their whole universe and his friends devoured by Galeem's light, Kirby is determined to go and save them from Galeem's clutches and restore their universe back to the way it was. As fate would have it though, Thirteen special souls were summoned beyond the rift of space and time and brought into this remaining world for reasons unknown but Kirby will need all the help he can get if he wants to save everyone. The journey to defeat Galeem has begun.

Chapter 1: The Final World

It all happened so sudden without warning.

A new threat appeared in the form of Galeem, a god of pure primordial light. It had taken control of countless Master Hands, none of the Smash Fighters knew what happened to the real Master Hand, but one could guess that Master Hand had been captured by Galeem and then duplicated into these many clones that dotted the horizon. Nevertheless everyone reunited once more to fight back against Galeem, meeting at the same cliff that they all hanged out celebrating after defeating Tabuu quite some time ago. New fighters had joined since that time but they too joined in to fend off this threat.

With an Army of Master Hands under its control, Galeem sought to create a new world.

The fighters and their countless stories...came to an end as light consumed them.

As hundreds of beams of light were fired in countless directions, taking down the Smash fighters one by one, Shulk in his last few seconds turned to Kirby and gave him a knowing look to tell Kirby to escape now before he too was devoured by a beam of light when he couldn't dodge it.

Kirby didn't want to leave his friends behind but he knew that this was a fight they couldn't win...at least not now. With a heavy heart, Kirby jumped on to his warp star and flew off, expertly dodging the beams, waiting for the right moment for his warp star to reach max speed and warping out of the area in a blink of an eye.

As the last of the fighters were inevitably consumed by Galeem's light, it proceeded to completely flood the entire universe in its light. And just like that, their universe was crushed under the hands of Galeem and those who fought the light were devoured. However there was one world spared the untold destruction where Galeem sought its eye to remake his new world.

The dust settled on the last remaining world but it had been warped by Galeem's power, allowing worlds to merge and collide making it into a twisted amalgamation of all the worlds belonging to the Smash Fighters. The Spirits of those who had lived on those worlds before Galeem crushed them were now trapped on this last remaining world like ghosts, haunting the landscape. Some spirits, however ended up being used by Galeem for far more sinister ends.

Only one fighter survived the onslaught-Kirby-who took Shulk's last second warning to allow Kirby to escape and survive. As the warp star began to lose power and descended down quickly the wasteland below, Kirby kept hold of it with all of his strength until the warp star finally vanished upon impact, causing Kirby to face-plant on to the cracked ground.

Kirby finally got the strength to lift himself up to gaze upon the final world he was in. A star of hope twinkles faintly as the dust settles on a new world.

However, while this was happening, Galeem was already at work making a whole new army of soldiers under his command, making thousands upon thousands of puppet copies of the fallen Smash fighters, and using the wandering spirits to claim those bodies as their own, however they were still under the full control of Galeem's absolute command.

The Smash Fighters themselves were left in the control of the Master Hands he had created to let them control the Smash Fighters as like puppets on a string.

Galeem had thought it had won but little did the God of Light know...that the original Master Hand had pulled one last ace up their sleeve before their untimely capture by Galeem.

Kirby looked out to the horizon and seeing Galeem even from here. It was so far away and the journey would certainly be perilous. One thing was for certain though, Kirby was going to save his friends first and then bring the fight to Galeem to bring back their universe to the way it was.

Just as Kirby was about to take his first bold step, he heard something from above him. "Poyo?" Kirby looked upwards and was in awe at the sight, there were shooting stars above him, most of them seemed to pass by and scatter until falling to certain parts of the world where they landed.

The very last shooting star-the Thirteenth one-seemed to be heading to where exactly Kirby was. Kirby panicked and quickly ran behind one of the boulders to avoid to the impact.

"W-Whoa!" The shooting star seemed to oddly bounce around on the ground until crashing to a complete halt, the light faded quickly around the shooting star to reveal to Kirby that the shooting star...wasn't a star at all.

It was a spiky brunette-haired boy who oddly reminded Kirby of that blonde haired swordsman-Cloud-but the weapon he carried was unlike anything he had seen before...it was a...key? He was currently face-planted on the ground just like how Kirby had when he first arrived here.

"Ouch...Talk about a rough landing. Just what happened back there?" The boy groaned as he sat up, easing his head.

He then looked around in confusion. "Where am I? This isn't-Huh?" The boy then looked down, looking at his clothes. "Hey wait a minute! Why am I back in my old clothes? And my body-! Could this some sort of magic at work? Like Donald's? Hmmm..." The boy panicked for a moment realizing he had reverted back to his fourteen year old self and crossed his arms as he tried to figure out why that was the case.

Kirby was quite curious about the boy and was about to come out to greet the welcoming new face until he accidentally tripped on a small rock, giving himself away to the newcomer.

"Who's there?!" He quickly reacted putting himself into his attack stance with his keyblade ready.

"Poyo!" Kirby panicked and quickly hid back behind the rock in fear.

"Oh...You're not a Heartless. Geez, I really screwed up there." The brunette boy realized and felt guilty for scaring what he assumed was a resident of this world, he quickly dismissed his keyblade to show he wasn't dangerous to the pink creature. "I'm sorry little guy, did I scare you?" He bent down Kirby's level and tried to call out to Kirby.

Kirby poked his head out from the boulder.

"Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you. Maybe I can-" Sora tried to ease the little pink ball's nerves. The boy tried to think of something that would win the little guy over and just like that an idea popped into his head.

"Oh I know! Here, this is called Sea-Salt Ice Cream." He took out what looked a light blue ice lolly wrapped in plastic, he quickly took off the plastic and showed it to Kirby who seemed very intrigued by the sugary ice treat.

"I bought a bunch of these for my friends, but I don't mind giving one to you. Think of it as an apology for scaring you by accident."

Kirby came out of hiding and approached the boy. He looked at the boy for a moment and saw he was being genuine about the ice cream and brought his tiny arms out to try and get it.

"Here you go, I'm sure you'll love it." The boy beamed a sunshine-filled smile as he gave away the Sea-Salt to Kirby who eagerly took it into his arms.

As Kirby took his first bite of the ice cream, the brunette boy took out another one, pulling off the plastic wrapper once more before taking a bite of his own ice cream.

"Poyo~" Kirby seemed to hum in delight, approving that this 'Sea-Salt Ice Cream' was indeed delicious.

"Heh told you so!" The boy grinned. "I'm Sora by the way, sorry about scaring you from before. Where I'm from-you always had on alert for Heartless so I guess it's become a habit of mine." Sora apologized again and explained.

"Poyo?" Kirby tilted his head.

"Ah right...you probably don't know what they are. Never mind. What's your name then little guy?" Sora realized and decided to change the topic to asking about his name.

Kirby found a lone stick nearby and started to draw in messy big letters his name. At least this desolate wasteland was dusty enough to spell names on.

"Kir...by. Kirby? Is that your name?" Sora repeated.

The pink ball nodded earnestly.

"Alright, nice to meet you Kirby! So do you happen to know where we are? I'm sure I've never been to this world before and I've seen a lot of different worlds."

"Poyo Poyo, popo, poyo-" For some reason, Sora could understand what Kirby was saying despite just saying 'Poyo' a lot. Could this be because of the weird nature of this world that allowed him to understand Kirby's language? Like how it had reverted his body back to his fourteen year old self? Either way, Kirby had helped to explain to him what had happened and why this world is the way it is now.

"What a jerk! So you're saying this Galeem guy just came out of nowhere and captured all your friends? And he crushed your whole universe that you guys lived in into this one world so he can rule over it?" Sora simplified the explanation in the only way he knew how.

"Poyo..." Kirby became teary-eyed at the thought of his friends under Galeem's control.

"I...I'm really sorry. I know how it feels to be suddenly torn away from everything you know and love. My world ended up falling into darkness when the Heartless attacked so I can understand what you're going through."

"Poyo..." Kirby looked sadly at Sora and tried to cheer him up by offering his half-eaten ice cream back.

"Heh, it's okay Kirby, thanks for trying to make me feel better." Sora gently pushed the ice cream towards Kirby again. "My home's back to normal now but I haven't forgotten how much it hurt when I learned it had fallen into darkness back then. I would never want anyone to lose their home in that way, not to anyone." Sora added.

Sora finished off his ice cream before turning to Kirby. "Don't worry, I'll help you get your friends back. And then we'll go and face Galeem together! We'll show that 'God' a thing or two. Besides, maybe if we beat this Galeem guy, we'll be able to restore your home back to the way it was, and maybe I'll also be able to find my way home too."

"Poyo? Poyo!" Kirby was overjoyed at not only making a new friend but a fellow fighter to help him save everyone from Galeem.

"Then it's official. We're a team. Looking forward to travelling with you, Kirby." Sora bought his hand out for Kirby to shake, but Kirby having only tiny little arms managed to place one into Sora's hand and managed a high five at best.

"Heh, that's one way of making it official. Is that the one you call Galeem in the distance?" Sora pointed to the horizon where a large winged god of primordial light awaited.

"Poyo." Kirby nodded.

"Not sure how I feel about fighting something that's not a Heartless. But if it's forcing others to bend to their will then it's no different from a Heartless in my eyes. The only question now is where do we start? This place is huuuge!"

"Poyo? Poyo poyo?" Kirby asked curiously as he completely finished off the Sea-Salt Ice Cream, stick included.

"How I got here? That's...a really good question. I don't know what happened. One minute I was shopping for Sea Salt Ice Cream to share with my friends, and then there was this bright light...and..." Sora trailed off as his last recent memory before coming here turned blank. "No, sorry. I really don't remember at all. The next thing I knew, I was flying across the sky and falling face-down and kissing the dirt.

"Poyo Poyo." Kirby reassured Sora that it was fine if he didn't remember, he was just glad he wasn't all alone now.

"Yeah, I know that feeling. Don't worry, we'll find one of your friends soon, I'm sure of it." Sora reassured back to Kirby. "There's always a light in the darkness that never goes out, no matter how bleak things are. You'll see."

"Poyo!" Kirby nodded.

"Alright! Lead the way Kirby."

With that Kirby lead the charge as the two of them left their spot to head downwards from the hill they were on to explore the world that was waiting for them to explore.

They arrived at a surprisingly grass-filled area despite they had just been a wasteland environment just half an hour ago.

"This world is really strange. It's kind of jarring that we were in a wasteland just moments ago and now there's grass everywhere." Sora noted.

"Poyo Popo Poyo."

"Yeah, I guess you're right. If Galeem really did merge all those worlds and squeezed them all into one, it's not surprising that some things feel out of place." Sora then noticed something near them.

"Hey do you see that?" Sora pointed to the object of interest in question.

Kirby got a closer look, realizing that it looked like Mario...yet...there was something definitely not right about him.

"Is he one of your friends that Galeem captured?" Sora asked.

Kirby walked closer to the person. "Poyo?" He called out.

When the person turned, it's telling red eyes gave away that it wasn't Kirby's friend.

It was made even more apparent when the fake Mario tried to attack Kirby.

"Hey! What are you doing?! Kirby did nothing to you!" Sora went in front of Kirby to protect him, summoning his keyblade as he did so.

"Don't be fooled. That's just a puppet!" A new voice called to them.

"Huh? Who was that? Show yourself!"

"Alright, if I must." The voice grumbled before jumping out of hiding. It was a young man wearing a really strange getup, a black coat, red gloves and red boots he even wore a white mask with black marks on the inner rings where their eyes would be.

"Uh...Who are you?" Sora asked curiously.

"...Joker will do. Anyway, leave this one to me. We'll talk afterwards. I have questions of my own for you two as well." With that Joker gave a swift kick to the Mario clone, kicking it far into air before swiftly defeating it.

The clone disintegrated into nothing and the spirit inside broke free, flying off in a hurry.

"Whoa...you took that thing down so fast. That's pretty cool...uh Joker right?" Sora was in awe at how fast Joker defeated it.

"It wasn't that tough. I think that one was the easiest one I had to deal with so far. Now then, now that we're out of danger. I have some questions."

"That should be my line," Sora huffed. "Still, it looks like you aren't a bad person despite your strange taste in clothes so I think we can trust him, right Kirby?"

"Poyo." Kirby nodded.

"You're one to talk, Mister Clown Shoes." Joker scoffed.

"Hey! What's that suppose to mean?! I didn't choose this outfit! When I woke up in this world-I looked like this okay!?" Sora fumed.

"Never mind, we're getting nowhere like this. First question...what is that thing you're carrying? A giant key?" Joker asked with curiosity.

"This? Oh right, this is probably the first time you guys seen it. It's called a Keyblade. I guess you can call it a weapon of light. It can free hearts from the Heartless and unlock any lock."

Joker whistled. "A key-like weapon that unlocks any lock huh? Something like that would very handy in my line of work."

"Your...line of work?" Sora raised an eyebrow.

"Okay, I see I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's start from the beginning. I'm Joker, I'm what you call a Phantom Thief. I suppose you can say I steal hearts-"

"Steal Hearts?! So you really are a Heartless?!" Sora became guarded and was quick to go back to his attack stance.

"Okay...that came out wrong. Let me explain, I don't steal actual hearts, I guess it would be more accurate to say that I change the hearts of corrupted people and make them confess any crime they had committed that they had kept secret before. We call it a 'Change of Heart'. Believe what you will but that's the truth. What is even a Heartless anyway? Is it like a Shadow?"

Sora narrowed his eyes as if thinking about his options. "What do you think Kirby? I don't think he's a bad person at all but...a guy that goes around changing hearts out of nowhere..."

"Poyo poyo, popo poyo." Kirby answered.

"You think he's really a good person too and we should trust what he says?" Sora recited.

Kirby simply nodded.

Sora thought for a few more moments before dispelling his keyblade. "Alright, I'll admit I don't feel exactly happy about what you do. But I get the feeling you're telling the truth so I'll trust you. After all, we've got a bigger issue to deal with right now." Sora pointed to the towering figure of Galeem.

"Agreed. Thanks for putting your trust in me. I had a feeling you two weren't with that 'god' or whatever those puppet fighters call it. Back to what I was asking before-what's a Heartless?"

"A Heartless? They're creatures with no hearts and they're born from the darkness in people's hearts. They steal hearts from those that do have hearts, and when they do that the person's heart is trapped inside them and can't be freed unless you use a keyblade to release them. Does that help?"

"I think I'm getting an idea. So they're not that different from Shadows, but the difference is that the Shadows I know of-are a reflection of the real self-I don't think they are heartless per say but they're not certainly friendly either."

"So you come from another world just like me right?" Sora asked.

Joker nodded. "Yup, one minute I was in Shibuya with my friends, then there was this bright light...after that...I woke up here. I don't remember what happened in-between the two events. Either way, I'm in my Metaverse outfit even though I'm not in the Metaverse, so I have no idea where exactly I am right now."

"Whoa, that sounds exactly the same thing that happened to me! Uh...What's the Metaverse?" Sora clicked.

"It's a looong story." Joker sighed. "I don't think you would be able to wrap your head around it."

"Hey! You don't know that unless you try! Just try me!" Sora felt offended.

"Heh, I think I'm going to like you, Sora. We may have different ways of helping people but at the end of the day, we're both fighting to protect the innocent right?"

Sora nodded with a grin. "Yeah! Like I said before, I think you're a good person, after all, you did help us out back there with that...What did you call it? A Puppet?"

Joker nodded. "Right, it's my guess that this god of theirs has created them and using those spirits to control them. It doesn't seem like they have any free will of their own, so they're probably under the control of this Galeem too." Joker explained.

"What a control freak. I feel bad for those spirits...being forced into service like that."

"No kidding. I can't stand anyone who thinks they can control the lives of others just because they can. Sounds like to me this god needs a change of heart of their own."

"Poyo poyo poyo," Kirby seemed to be asking something to Joker but Joker seemed confused. "Sorry, I don't have any idea what you're saying."

"I'll translate for you." Sora offered.

"You can understand him?" Joker blinked.

"What's that look for?! Of course I can! I'm surprised you can't understand Kirby though. I wonder why I can understand him fine?" Sora wondered thoughtfully before shaking his head. "Anyway, Kirby was asking if you had seen any of his friends? Like that guy you just fought except wearing red?"

"Hmm...You know...I think I might have seen someone like that near to these big circular ruins." Joker offered.

"Really? That's great! What are we waiting for? Let's go and help him!"

"Wait, there's something you should know. I saw something above him, something like a giant hand."

"Poyo?!"

"Master Hand?" Sora repeated Kirby's words.

"I don't know what that thing is. Either way, it looks like if we want to save this friend of yours, we're going to need to take out that hand."

"Are you alright with that Kirby?" Sora asked.

Kirby gave a look of determination and nodded.

"That's the spirit! Maybe that hand is probably a puppet clone like the others?"

"I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case but I do think it'll be a lot tougher than the others so we need to be prepared." Joker warned.

"Gotcha. We'll think of something when we get there, right now we need to get to where you saw one of Kirby's friends."

"I remember the way, follow me." Joker offered his help and guided Sora and Kirby to where he saw the person Kirby described last, he just hoped that the puppet fighter was still there.

After dispatching two more clone fighters and freeing the spirits inside them, Sora taking care of the Yoshi clone while Joker took out the Jigglypuff clone that came after.

They finally arrived at the location where Joker last saw the puppet fighter and thankfully, he was still there. With a clone of Master Hand controlling the fighter with strings attached.

"It's like I thought. That Master Hand really is controlling it, I bet that's the real one, not like the clones. If we beat that thing we should be able to save that guy."

"Poyo!" Kirby confirmed it when he cried out the fighter's name.

"Mario's his name? Alright, so how are we going to do this? Just tackle him both together?"

"Hmm...I don't think that's a good idea. This could be a trap to trick us and capture all of us at once. We might be better if we solo them, at least this way if something goes wrong, we can jump in to help." Joker suggested.

Sora couldn't see any faults with Joker's plan and since this was Kirby's friend on the line, they needed to be very careful about it. "Alright, sounds good. Question is now who goes out first?"

"Hmm..." Joker tried to think which of the three of them would be able to take down the puppeteer fastest.

"Poyo." Kirby offered raising his tiny arms.

"You sure about this Kirby? You'll be fighting against your friend. Even if he's being controlled, I think even I would have difficulty fighting my own friends if they being controlled like this." Joker asked.

"I have faith in Kirby. I'm sure he'll be able do it." Sora encouraged. "I remember having to fight my best friend at one point, it was the worst, but I also remember feeling that I wanted to save my best friend more than anything from the person who was controlling him at the time. I think Kirby wants to do the same because Mario's his friend and he wants to be the one to save him. I understand that feeling really well."

Joker slowly nodded. "I suppose you have a point, Sora. Alright Kirby, let us know if you need back-up, got it? Sora and I will be right here if you need help."

"Poyo." Kirby nodded and rushed out of their hiding place. With a deep breath, Kirby headed towards the fighter.

When the puppet fighter realized he was being attacked, he blocked Kirby's incoming attack, causing Kirby to fall back a few spaces before dishing out a kick and a punch.

The two were locked in a flurry of blows, dancing around each other until Kirby delivered one major kick that seemed to have caused a critical hit using this chance, Kirby jumped up to the Master Hand clone and cut off the strings attached.

Causing Mario to collapse like a doll now that he was no longer being controlled and changed back into a trophy.

Kirby decided to dish out a few blows and kicks to the Master Hand until it exploded.

"Alright, way to go Kirby!" Sora jumped out of their hiding spot.

"Nicely done." Joker praised.

"Poyo poyo." Kirby responded.

"So that Master Hand really was just a copy? Because it was much weaker than the real one?" Sora translated Kirby's words.

"Makes sense. If Galeem is really controlling all the fighters in this manner, it would need to mass produce many copies of this Master Hand to retain control over them. At least for now, we've saved one from that god's control."

"Why has he changed back into a statue though?" Sora raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Good question. Might be better not to question it and just accept it as part of how this world works." Joker added.

Kirby went over to Mario who had changed back into a trophy after being cut off from the Master Hand copy's strings. He gently tapped the trophy to awaken the fighter within.

"Ughhh, that was terrible. What a nightmare that was." Mario groaned as he eased his head and fixed his hat.

"Poyo!" Kirby jumped up and hugged Mario.

"Kirby! Am I glad to see you! Were you the one that saved me?" Mario asked.

"Poyo, poyo poyo!" Kirby earnest answered before running over to Joker and Sora and pointing to them.

"You're Mario right? I'm Sora, glad to meet one of Kirby's friends finally." Sora beamed.

"...Joker." Joker simply answered.

"Ah I see. You two helped Kirby out when he needed a friend the most. Thanks a lot for helping us. Ah...how did you two get here though? I don't remember you at the battle where we fought Galeem...and lost."

"To be honest, I don't think Sora and I have any clue how we got here either." Joker answered.

"Tell me about it. I still can't remember anything that happened between that bright light happening and being brought here out of nowhere." Sora added. He then placed his hands behind his head in a carefree manner as he continued. "Even so, I already told Kirby that I'd help him get all his friends back and then we'll go face Galeem together and this time he's the one that's going to lose."

"Optimistic one aren't ya?" Joker smiled lopsidedly.

"Well, you won't do it alone. I'll help too. They're my friends too-not to mention my younger brother is still among those under Galeem's control." Mario stated.

"Sure, we'll go together!"

"Poyo!" Kirby nodded, filled with hope more than ever that they'll be able to save everyone from Galeem.

"Who knows, maybe if we help you guys save your friends and defeat Galeem. Sora and I will be able to find a way back to our worlds if we restore the universe back to normal." Joker added.

"Speaking of that, I've been thinking...do you think...the Keyblade would be able to restore your homes if we find the keyhole to this world?"

"Huh/Poyo?" Everyone looked confused including Kirby.

"Oh, hahahaha..." Sora laughed sheepishly. "Right, you guys probably have no idea how this works. Well...every world has it's own keyhole that leads to that world's heart. But there's also a heart of all worlds too-back where I'm from-we call it Kingdom Hearts. Maybe because Galeem has merged all worlds into one, it's made a 'Kingdom Hearts' of it's own so if we find the keyhole that leads to that place and seal it away, it'll free all the worlds that Galeem stole. Like how my home and many other worlds was restored when my friends and I sealed the Door to Darkness."

"Can you really do that? Can you truly bring back our worlds by sealing the keyhole of this world?" Mario questioned in awe.

"Well...It doesn't hurt to try. It worked for my home and other worlds that fell into the Realm of Darkness so maybe it'll work for your worlds too."

Mario nodded. "You're right. It's worth a shot no matter the odds. Let's do this together then."

"Poyo!" Kirby agreed in earnest too.

"Well, we've got nothing left to lose and if this idea of yours can indeed restore their homes and help get us back to where we belong, it sounds as good as any plan to me. I'm in." Joker agreed.

"Thanks everyone." Sora was grateful for their trust. He really wanted to help save Mario's, Kirby's and all the other worlds that Galeem took away by force and restore them back to how they used to be. For their sake. After all, he has a place he needs to return home to as well.

"Let's-a go! Wahoo!" Mario proudly jumped as he lead the charge to head further into this alien world.

"We better follow him before he ends up becoming a puppet again." Joker joked lightly.

"Poyo..." Kirby sweat-dropped.

"Mario's right though. The sooner we can save their friends, the sooner we can face Galeem and find a way home."

"True. Let's go then." Joker nodded.

With that the three chased after Mario, leading into the circular ruins where more Smash Fighters are in need of rescue.

And that's the first chapter. What do you think? I hope it's alright so far. It's my first time doing a fan fic on Smash Bros so I hope that my first entry isn't bad. I think this is a project that will take a lot of notes to make sure I remember how my play-though went. XD

In case anyone was curious, although Sora is in his KH 1 body, I've decided to use KH2 Sora timeline-wise, but like how Sora's clothes would change based on the world he visits, since he's currently in the last remaining world of the Smash Universe, it had reverted his body back to his fourteen year old self with his old clothes despite having memories of events just after KH2. I hope that helps clear things up. =D

Anyway, back to what I was saying at the beginning...I'm still unsure how to do Avatar Byleth and the Mii fighters. So I decided to give you guys the chance to pick which route we take.

So for Byleth, do you want female Byleth or Male Byleth? Let me know in the review section below and the one of the most votes gets selected as the Byleth for this story.

For Mii fighters, I figured since there are Mii costumes involved. I wanted to give readers the choice. If you want me to stick with the basic Mii Sword/Brawl/Gunner or would like me to use the Mii costumes of a way of adding characters that didn't make it as fighters but made it in as Mii costumes. How I planned to explain this is if the spirits of these characters ended up possessing the bodies of the Mii fighters by accident but still help in the quest to save everyone from Galeem and beat it's ass. XD

So I offer you guys the choice, if you wish for me to go down the Mii costume path instead of sticking with vanilla Mii fighters, which Mii costume do you want the mii fighters to have?

Remember there's only one of each type so one sword-fighter, one brawler and one gunner Mii costume is allowed per vote. The ones with the most votes gets to be the possessed Mii fighter. XD

I'll do my best to update this fan fic as I can, but this is definitely something that I'll need to keep notes on in case I end up getting distracted by real life or other games. XD

So until the next chapter, happy reading everyone. Moogle Empress out!

Moogle: Kupo!
